Senior Soul

Chapter 7

When we left Ace and Luke off, they had just found new love for each other in ways they could have never imagined. Two weeks have passed and Luke and Ace continue with their everyday lives, pretending to be "best friends." Going to soccer practice, school, and sometimes parties; masking love that knows too many bounds. They have their time, though: After soccer practice, after school, after parties; all the while keeping their secret on lockdown.

It is now Thursday and Luke, Ace, Alice, and the rest of Mr. Cross's first period English class are going on a field trip to the Waker Amusement Park, just outside of Fort Smith. Let's join them, shall we?

"I absolutely can't wait!" Alice exclaimed.

"It's just an amusement park." Eddie (squirrel) stated, as he past by.

"Eddie, why do you have to break balls?" Thomas (kangaroo) laughed.

And so did Alice, Luke, and Ace. They were all sitting on the floor together, conversing, while the teacher, Mr. Cross, was conducting one last roll check to see who all was going on the trip. Luke and Ace had become good friends with Thomas over the past weeks. Eddie had just been walking by when he heard Alice and thought he should intervene with their fun. Once he realized it wasn't working, he went to go sit with his other drama friends.

"I still don't get it." Luke said, with a truly puzzled look on his face.

"What don't you get?" Ace asked.

"Well, its not that I'm not happy we're going to an amusement park, just that....why are we going to an amusement park? How is that anything related to school?"

"When we get there I'm going to teach you all what a noun is. After that, you can all run away from me and have fun." Mr. Cross interjected, as he had finished tallying who all was going and was now handing out wrist bands, indicating you have free access to the rides at the park as long as your there.

"Mr. Cross, don't get into our conversation. We're teenagers, you're an old Doberman; we just don't mix." Thomas said.

Everyone couldn't stop laughing. It's too bad the reason they were laughing wasn't because of the joke, but because Mr. Cross growled at Thomas, then snapped his jaw in his direction, causing Thomas to jump so high he fell on his rear when he came down.

"So, are we really allowed to get away with this?" Luke asked, still a little confused.

"Yep. As long as you learn something on the trip, then it's fine with the school board. Secretly, the reason we're doing this for this class only is because you all scored highest on the exams this semester than any other senior class. I was proud, and proposed this field trip to the principle. He said if I could get the money from the kids, then it would all be gravy."

"Your so cool, Mr. Cross." A poodle named Shirley had just came around the corner and listened on their conversation. Shirley had a thing for older guys, and Mr. Cross was just her type of canine.

"Yes, well...we all need to start heading out. The bus will leave at 9:00, even if no one's on it yet. Of course, this doesn't apply to anyone who has a car." Mr. Cross stated, after getting funny looks from at least half of the class.

"I guess you'll be going in Ace's car, huh Luke?" Alice asked, accenting Ace's name, to sound as if she was annoyed by the fact that they hung out all the time.

"Yeah, you got a problem with that, missy?" Luke teased, sticking his tongue out close to Alice.

"Nope. Not at all. I'm going in my car with the hottest and brightest guy around here," Alice picked up Thomas off the ground, only to squeeze him hard, "Isn't that right, Thomas?"

"Owww! Yes! Why am I being picked on so much today?" Thomas whined.

They all continued to laugh at Thomas's misfortune as they got off the floor to head out of the classroom with the other students.

"Everyone who is riding on the bug needs to tell the bus driver their address! You should already know this, but this field trip will last the whole day, ergo we are not coming back to school! If you did not pick up your backpack when we left the classroom, you need to hurry, or you WILL be left behind!" Mr. Cross yelled across the school parking lot.

Ace, Luke, Alice, and Thomas were still together. They all parked next to each other, though Alice and Ace were the only ones with their own cars.

"Wow, you left yours." Alice stated, genuinely dumbfounded that Thomas didn't have his backpack with him.

"Ugh, I guess I'll be right back." Thomas groaned, as he jumped on his hind legs back to the school entrance.

It was just a coincidence that the bus taking some of the kids without cars had pulled up right next to Ace's and Alice's cars (Alice's car was a 2007 red mini cooper), but it definitely wasn't lucky, because it grouped Luke and Ace together with the rest of the class. Although most of the furs were great friends with both of them, some were still nagged by the memory of what happened during the class's Romeo and Juliet skit. Not the fact that they kissed, but the power and passion they exhibited when they did it.

One fur in particular never had the memory out of his mind when he saw them together.

"Heh, I guess Ace isn't takin' the bus, but goin' to the park with his fagstick, Luke." Trent, the rhino that shoved Luke in the hallway a while back, shouted across the parking lot so everyone could hear.

He got mixed laughs; a small amount of real ones from his few friends, some forced, and some nervous.

"Just ignore him," Alice said to Ace and Luke, "He won't do anything while Mr. Cross is around. He wants to get out of school as much as we do."

"Probably not for the rides at the park though," Thomas interjected, as he had just got back and heard both Trent and Alice, "He'll probably sneak off to one of the bathrooms and smoke pot with his buddies or something. Or he might spend his time there kicking little kids in the face. Or wait, maybe he's secretly gay, just like Ace and Luke here, and have a sex orgy with his..."

"WOULD YOU SHUT UP?!" Alice shouted as she bonked Thomas on the head with one of her textbooks, pushing him down to fall flat on his face onto the ground.

Ace and Luke lost it, and when Alice had realized what she had done she laughed along with them. Thomas just mumbled as he got up off the ground to brush himself off.

"We'll follow you, since you know they way." Ace declared, raising his voice a bit because of the running engines.

The bus had already left for the park, and Ace and Alice were the only cars left in the parking lot that were leaving for the field trip.

"Alright, just make sure you can keep up." Alice smiled as she turned her car around to face the school's exit.

Ace did his best to follow Alice without coming up too close or too far away. On the drive Luke mostly carried on the conversation, telling Ace about some of the times Alice and him had spent together, and why those moments were so funny. Ace didn't get a lot of it; Alice and Luke seemed to have their own little world of fun that no one would ever understand, but that was just fine with Ace. He knew him and Luke had a special world too; one that only they could enter, together. He also knew Luke probably spent more time in their world than an Alice's or the real world combined. This gave Ace and idea.

"Let's split up when we get to the park." Ace blurted out, as Luke was talking about the time when he and Alice danced around the half-melted ice cream bar on the ground, trying to bring about snow.

Luke stopped talking for a second, and then continued.

"....And so we finished the dance, and by this time everyone's looking at us..."

"Hey! I was being serious!" Ace yelled.

"Why do you want to split up at the park? The place is huge, and we won't see each other at all..." Luke grinned as he analyzed the idea in his head and deemed it stupid.

"That's the point. You know how everyone keeps saying we hang out too much? Even our parents say it, now."

"Yeah, what's wrong with that?"

"Well, I mean, it's never good to just hang out ALL the time. We both need time to ourselves or time with other friends. You know, just away from each other for awhile. Not to mention it might get some of our classmates off our back about the whole skit thing if they see we're not together. Look, I'll take Thomas with me and you can take Alice wherever you two lovebirds wanna go."

Luke was about to object, and then he thought about it; maybe they did spend a little too much time together. Also, Luke had been looking forward to seeing Alice at some point, but he was too busy spending time with his lover to do that. Not that that time was wasted, Luke thought as he was deciding upon an outcome to reach with the situation at hand.

"Well, what do you think?" Ace asked.

"....Okay, we'll go with your plan..."

"Yes! I'm glad you're finally..."

"On one condition. After we leave the park and my parents are asleep, you're gonna come over and we get to do what I want, whether it's snuggle talk or make love; I get to choose." Luke said, with a hint of authority.

"Alrighty then. It's a deal, hun." Ace said.

"Let's kiss on it." Luke said, grinning.

Ace chuckled and joined in Luke's smile as he reached over the slightest bit, as Luke had already leaned over far enough, to give him a quick smooch on the muzzle.

It was hard for Luke to believe it, since he always thought Arkansas to be a laid-back, mellow, and boring state, but when he entered the park with his friends and lover, he found that it was quite extravagant and legit, to say the least.

The Waker Amusement Park was more of a small, fun town than a park. Houses set up in rows and columns as you would walk down its streets were chock-full of bakeries, antique stores, and ice-cream shops as well as many others. Signs on each corner pointed towards where you would go next, each arrow designed with a colorful name, presenting the ride or attraction in that specific direction. Every house, ride, and bench was colored differently; it would seem as though someone just picked up a random can of paint and just splattered it over the white. None of the rides were kitty rides either. One was either high up in the air or doing loop-dee-loops, both rushing screaming furs at least 75 mph.

As Luke was admiring the extremity of one ride called "The Doom Shooter," he didn't notice that their group had finally caught up to all of the other furs that were on the field trip.

Mr. Cross had to howl to get everyone to stop talking, and once he did, he declared, "Okay everyone. A noun is a person, place, or thing. Example: The teacher doesn't want to talk over the students. What were the nouns? The teacher and the students. Got it? Now, get out of my hair and have fun."

With that, everyone in the class rushed away from Mr. Cross and went into different directions. Ace, Luke, Alice, and Thomas stayed back, as Ace was explaining his idea to Alice.

"So, let me get this straight. I get to spend the whole day with Luke?" Alice asked again.

"Yes, I've explained that already. You'll hang with him, and I'll hang with..."

Once Alice had confirmed her question, she dashed towards Luke and grabbed his hand, sending him flying with her.

"That's all I need to know! C'mon boy, we have rides to ride and attractions to...be attracted to!" Alice declared, as she pulled Luke onto one of the side streets.

"Hey! At nine we're gonna meet up at the ferris wheel, okay?" Ace screamed at Luke.

"Gotcha! See ya then!" Luke screamed back.

"So, where are we going exactly? You've been here before, haven't you? So you should know your way around, right?" Luke asked, as he was continually dragged about by Alice.

"Well, if I was to sum up all of your answers in one word...no. I have no idea where we are actually. I'm waiting for my magnet to kick in and tell us where to go."

"What?" Luke asked, extremely puzzled.

"I have a magnet inside of me. I accidently ate it while eating a bowl of cereal a few years ago. It was a prize that came in the box, and I guess I didn't see it. My dad saw me eat it too. He said it was pretty big. I figured since I overlooked it so easily, it was destiny that I ate it; now whenever I go someplace I'm unfamiliar with, I wait for my magnet to pull me in the direction it wants to go."

"But wait, if you swallowed the magnet years ago, there's no way it's in you body now..."

"WHHOOOAAHHHH!! THERE IT GOES!" Alice chuckled as she swooshed her body to one side of the street in a swift motion, pulling Luke along with her.

Alice didn't stop her sideways motion until they came to the entrance of one of the houses. The sign at the top of the house said "The Duchess."

"A clothing store? How strange...but I guess if that's what the magnet wants..." Alice sighed.

Luke rolled his eyes.

"Oh please. Don't even begin to think that I'll believe this was the magnet's idea. That's so typical for a girl to rather go shop for clothes than do something grand, like ride a freaking rollercoaster, one that's not but 50 feet away...."

Luke stopped. He saw that Alice was holding her head down. She sniffed.

"Hey, hey! I didn't even say anything bad! Okay let's follow the magnet's orders; I'll even get you something in the store! Just don't cry..." Luke tried to talk to Alice and put his arm on her back.

"ACHHOOO!" Alice sneezed, as she raised her head up.

Luke felt stupid.

"Hehe, I wasn't crying silly! But you know what? I think we should follow the magnet's orders too! And that buying me something idea wasn't bad either! Let's go!" Alice declared, bubbly, as she opened the door wide open.

Luke sluggishly went in with her.

The store's name was very contradictory to the store's overall theme; it was a small lingerie shop, with nothing but sexy bras and thongs for girls. The whole store was colored pink, and most of the people that were there looked at Luke with suspicion as he walked in, embarrassed by what he had gotten himself into.

"Over here, Luke! I'm by the g-strings!" Alice waved, as she had already started browsing through the feminine underwear.

Luke whined and shuffled to Alice, as he felt every single one of the woman's stares directed towards him.

"Ooooooh, I like this one's design. Don't you, Luke?" Alice stated, as she held up a small thong with black hearts all around it and a yellow background, carrying with it black, transparent waves of cloth around the sides and endpoints.

"Yeah, yeah, it's great. Can I just buy it so we can get out of here?" Luke whispered.

"What? Are you so uncomfortable with your sexuality that you can't stay in a woman's lingerie store for more than a minute?" Alice declared, loudly (so everyone could hear).

"No! That's not it, I just..."

"Good! Because I'm gonna try these bad boys on. Come, my darling, to the room with dressing on it." Alice said provocatively as she took the heart thong with her, along with another slightly bigger thong, to the door in the back, entitled "Dressing Room."

Once again, Luke had to endure the ever-long stare of the women furries in the store to get to the door in which Alice had entered.

The dressing room ended up just being one pink, enclosed space.

"Wait, why am I in here with you?" Luke asked Alice, and partially himself.

"Oh, you'll see in a bit." Alice said, as she took off her skinny jeans to reveal a black thong covering her up just enough.

"HEY! WARN ME FIRST!" Luke screamed, as he quickly turned around to face the door.

"Oh chillax, grandma. I don't care if you see me naked, and I don't really care if I see you naked either. The parts people deemed inappropriate to show to the world are just another part of your body, like your arm and your head. I don't care if you see my boobs, my ass, or my gina for that matter...."

"STOP AND JUST CHANGE!!!" Luke shouted, once again, the awkwardness becoming too much for him to bear.

"I'm already done, granny. Now you HAVE to turn around and tell me what I look like, okay?" Alice demanded.

Luke sighed, and then turned around to face Alice.

She was like nothing he had ever seen before. Her white fur ran deep through her legs and arms, as this was mostly all he could see, since she still had her shirt on but was lifted a bit so Luke could see the new lingerie she was wearing. Everything went together, and she looked like she could pose for swimsuit catalogs and calendars. Her whole figure was perfect: not too fat, not too skinny, not too short, not too tall, breasts not overly big, breasts not overly small. Luke couldn't say anything.

"Okay, since you won't give me an answer for this side, how about this one?"

Alice turned around.

The back was just as impressive as the front. Her legs gave off the right curves at the right places, and her ass was big enough to be fit but not fat (which, by the way, was showing mostly, except for the upmost part where the thong was). Luke, once again, just stood there, not able to speak.

"Are you gonna tell me if I look good or not?" Alice said, turning back around.

Luke snapped out of his daze. Seeing Alice's body caused him to lose track of the world, and he had no idea why. Then, he was reminded once again of the night he had forgotten about two weeks ago. The night that left him so confused and worried. And yet....

"You look stunning." Luke said, finally able to produce words.

He had remembered the night, but didn't care what it meant anymore. He didn't care anymore. Alice was here, and he was going to deal with the now.

"Well thank you, sir. Now that we have that done with, the fun can really start." Alice said, and she reached down on the floor to pick up the other thong she had gotten. She tossed it into Luke's arms.

"What do I do with this?" Luke said, but he was sure he knew the answer. He was begging with all his might that his theory of what Alice wanted was wrong, but all the begging in the world didn't help.

"Well, it's a thong. What do you usually do with thongs?" Alice asked, rubbing her chin with her claws.

"No." Luke said blatantly.

"Oh yes." Alice countered.

"Oh no."

"Oh yes."

"NO."

"YES."

This went on forever, until Luke got an idea.

"No." Luke continued.

"Yes." Alice continued.

"Yes." Luke said, feeling smart to outwit her. He knew after saying the same lines over and over, this would throw her off and make her say "No."

"YES! I'm glad you finally agree." Alice said, victorious.

"Dammit!" Luke's plan was an epic failure.

Luke realized there was no way out of this eventually and decided to just put them on.

"Umm, are you going to turn around any time soon?" Luke asked, as he was about to take off his pants.

"I told you. I don't think it's necessary to hide all of your body parts. You decided you didn't want to see mine, I guess, but I have no problem seeing yours." Alice grinned.

Luke was going to say something, as he so desperately didn't want to strip in front of his friend, but he knew what the outcome of this battle would be. So, after sighing a huge sigh, Luke quickly pulled down his pants (pulling down his boxers at the same time), took them off, picked up the thong (Alice was giggling at this point), put it through his back paws, and pulled them up as fast as lightning.

It wasn't until Luke had pulled it up all the way up that he felt the little patch of underwear that was supposed to cover his frontal area not cover his sack on either side. Alice was laughing fully now.

"I love that my lack of pride can make you burst out laughing." Luke said sarcastically, as he was ringing up the two thongs at the counter.

"I love that you actually put on a woman's thong, and that you're actually buying it, just because I told you to." Alice said, as she giggled and wrapped her arms around Luke's right.

Luke and Alice spent most of the rest of the time at the park goofing off. After the lingerie store, they both went to get ice cream and sat down on a bright blue bench next to a bunch of kids playing with water that was shooting out of the ground. When she finished with her ice cream Alice quickly got up and started playing too. Luke eventually had to go and get her because she refused to come out of the "Ground Water Blast" area until he took her out. After that they went to an illusion house that had all of the furniture upside down. In one room the ground would tilt to one side and cause Luke and Alice to slip and glide to the side that was being tilted. They stayed in that room for a good time, because whenever they would slip they would see who could bang into the other first. Alice won most of the time, but that was because Luke let her (and because he didn't want to hurt her). They ended up actually not going on any of the rides, but instead just hung out and did anything that looked like fun or appealing to the both of them. Before they knew it, it was 8:30 and they started heading over to the ferris wheel to meet up with Ace and Thomas. When they finally arrived, Ace and Thomas were nowhere to be found.

"Hey, since their not here yet, you wanna ride the wheel?" Alice stated, sounding pumped.

The ferris wheel looked just like any normal ferris wheel would look at night: bright lights going in different patterns around its inside, passengers pointing to the sky as they went to the top, and its slowly rotating motions that would take the rest of time to get you back down to Earth.

"Well, we're going to do it whether I want to or not, aren't we?" Luke asked, grinning.

"Now you're gettin' it!" Alice exclaimed, as she took Luke's hand and dragged him to the ferris wheel line.

The line wasn't very long, but you could never tell the waiting time with ferris wheels. So Luke decided to talk with Alice while they waited.

"It surprises me." Luke said.

"What does, homie?" Alice asked.

"That you don't have a boyfriend."

Alice hesitated for a moment.

"New topic! So I was at my friend's house, Nicole's her name. She's a cougar, you see, and it was kinda weird because..."

"Oh no honey. You're not getting away from this one. Why don't you want to talk about it?"

Alice stopped. Then hesitated to speak again.

"Because there's nothing to talk about. I've never had a boyfriend."

Luke was dumbfounded.

"What? Seriously? Why?" Luke asked.

"I'll sum up your answers again. I just think that when I find the one I think I want to be with for a long time, than I'll know it. That basically hasn't happened yet."

Everyone had just gotten off of the ferris wheel and a new load of people were coming on. Two of those people were Alice and Luke, and when they both were in the cart it took them up one level to let another couple get on.

"So how do you think you would know?" Luke asked.

"Just....I don't know. You know how when your with someone, and being with them just feels right?"

Luke knew that feeling all too well. Ace and he shared it all the time.

"Yeah, I know. So you can honestly say you've never had that kind of connection with someone before?"

"Not necessarily..." Alice said, turning her head away from Luke.

Luke wasn't sure what to think at this point. Either Alice was talking about him, or another guy she once loved. He wanted to find out.

"So, why do you feel like you have to wait until you're absolutely sure you want to be with someone? There has to have been times when you actually liked someone, either because of their personality or looks, or both. Why couldn't you date then?" Luke asked, trying to further the conversation.

"It's hard to explain. Yes, there have been instances where I've liked a guy like that, but, something's always missing. It's never the looks, or the personality; it's a certain glow that I need to feel...one that says "he could possibly be the one," you know?"

"Yeah, I understand...but how will you know if that glow happens or not?"

"Because...I've felt it before. I can't ever forget a feeling like that." Alice said, turning her head to face Luke again. Luke already had his face turned, looking at Alice, just waiting for her to look back.

"Hehe." Luke chuckled.

"What?" Alice asked, grinning.

"I don't usually see you act like this. All sentimental and junk. You're usually just loud and obnoxious. But to tell you the truth, I think I like both sides of you, inside and out."

Alice giggled.

KER-PLUNK.

They reached the highest level they could, but when they stopped, the cart jerked back and forth and made a steel sound emit through the whole wheel.

Every cart was out of motion now, and everyone was talking amongst themselves, trying to figure out what happened.

"Attention ferris wheel riders," A girlish voice was executed from what sounded like a megaphone, "Do not be alarmed. The ferris wheel has stopped because of technical difficulties, and we will be fixing it as fast as we can."

"Great, well now we're stuck on these metal ass-sores until they get us down." Luke said, genuinely unenthused about the wait they may have to endure.

"It isn't all bad. Look." Alice declared, as she looked up and pointed to the night sky. Luke looked up.

The stars in the dark sky were lighting up like Christmas, even though all of the lights around the park should be overshadowing Luke's and Alice's view of them. What was even cooler to Luke was that it was a full moon. The bright, round crater was enough to get Luke in the right mood.

"AAAAAWWHHHOOO!!!" Luke howled to the sky.

"Haha, I thought dogs howled!" Alice said, laughing as she did.

"Yeah, and pigs like to roll in mud and horses have big penises. That doesn't mean we cant do those things either! Well, that last one I said was sketchy, but...you get the point. Howl with me, its fun! AWWHHOOOOOOO!"

"AAAAWWWWHHHOOOO!!" Alice joined in.

They both stopped howling when they looked at each other and started laughing at how ridiculous they looked.

After they were finished laughing, they both looked into each others eyes. And grinned. Then Alice looked away.

"Luke, I need to tell you something..." Alice said.

"Yeah, Alice?" Luke responded.

"Well, I don't really know if I'm right or whatever, but....this day has been so much fun, just hanging out with you. Actually, I don't think I can recall a time when I didn't have fun with you, or a time when I ever wanted you to leave my side when we were together. That first day I met you, and I took your picture....the way you made me feel when I talked to you....it's indescribable. And that time we fed each other that awful food in the cafeteria...I had never openly embarrassed myself like that before...but you made me feel so comfortable and collected...and all the other times we've had since you moved over here....Luke, I think I feel it..."

"Feel what?" Luke whispered, as he got closer to Alice.

"...The glow..." Alice said, as she raised her head to meet Luke's muzzle.

They were not 2 millimeters apart mouth wise.

Just then Luke's mind went into hyper-mode. All his experiences since he had come to Fort Smith were flashing before him, and the one image that kept popping up in his head was...Ace. He had almost completely forgotten about him today. He forgot about the days he had spent with him, the love they shared....it was all wiped out by this day. It was so confusing to Luke how this could all be. How could Alice make Luke forget all about his past promises...how could she make him feel almost the same as when he was with Ace...how come he felt a glow inside of him....

The answer was simple. Luke, as he had mistaken so horribly and had overly denied....was bisexual.

Luke didn't think about what he did next. He gently placed his paws around Alice's hair and pulled her closer.

Alice did not resist in the slightest. With their heads tilted, they locked their lips together and passionately shared a deep kiss. And then another. And another.

There wasn't anyone around to disturb their make-out session, so they did not stop. Luke could taste Alice's breath, which had a small scent of peppermint because of the mint ice cream she ate. Her whole scent overpowered Luke and he slowly sunk his tongue into her mouth.

She did not reject it, but instead allowed her own tongue to overlap Luke's, and they danced around each other, as they continued to lock lips.

After using his tongue to lick and play with Alice's, he sent it around her mouth to explore. Alice did the same, but slower than Luke; she hadn't kissed in the longest time, and she wanted to savor the moments.

Luke changed his right paw position from Alice's head to her waist, locking her around him. Alice got a sensation from having Luke firmly grip that spot, and she drew him in a little closer.

They both continued on with their love-making as time went on, and it never got old to either of them. Alice had been waiting for Luke all her life, and Luke had been waiting all this time to find out who he really was (even though he had convinced himself he knew already), and they were both overwhelmed by the circumstances and timing of their love encounter; the whole world was a blur to them now.

"Haha! Hey Ace, it looks like you've got some competition." Thomas grinned as he saw Luke and Alice come down all the ferris wheel levels and reach the bottom.

Luke and Alice both heard him at the same time and released themselves from each other as they did. They were so caught up in the rush they had no idea the ferris wheel had gotten fixed and had taken them down.

Luke's eyes met Ace's. They were blank.

There was nothing to say. Ace could not believe his eyes, and just stood their in disbelief, as did Luke.

That's when Luke's world cam crashing down.

He realized what he had just done. He realized what he just screwed up. He could not ever undo it, and he could never undo Ace from seeing it.

"Heh...I guess there's nothing to say..." Alice said, feebishly.

"..No, there isn't." Ace murmured as he turned around to walk away.

"Ace, Ace wait. Please wait Ace....Ace please stop..Ace.." Luke caught up with him and tried to hold his hand.

Ace shoved it away.

"Ace, don't go, just let me explain..."

"Ace, what's wrong?" Alice asked, as she and Thomas had caught up with them.

Ace turned around. His eyes were watering up.

"Don't worry, Luke. This time, you won't have to pretend."

And Ace turned around, walking as fast away as he could.

"Wait, what did....oh...my..." Alice started.

"Alice, I..."

SLAP.

Even with the back of her right paw covering most of her face, Luke could tell Alice was holding back tears.

"I can't believe I felt it....with you..."

"I'm sorry, but I am just so confused!!! What does this all mean?!" Thomas exclaimed.

"It means we're leaving." Alice said, after wiping her face on her jacking and sniffing her nose.

Alice then began to walk away from Luke as Thomas, still confused, followed her.

"Are we just gonna leave him..."

"Shut up." Luke heard Alice say, as her voice drifted away from him.

Luke fell to the ground on his knees. He was the last one to do it, but as he looked into the night sky and noticed the clouds covering up the bright moon, he began to cry.

Oh nooooooooooooo! Haha. This one was a toughy, I must say. But definitely worth it. I was busy working on my other story and therefore I didn't have much time for Senior Soul, so I made some time and this is what I came up with. Sorry for the lack of m/m yiff; cant have too much or it wouldn't be a story, ya know? I hope you liked it, and if you're a fan of my other series then watch out for when I post again cuz the next post will probably be another installment of that series (the name will probably be different too, ergo it wont be called The Night Out, but something else, so make sure to check all of my new posts if you want to read it). Once again I hope you enjoyed it and cya laters! XD
