Kara let out a deep breathe as she sat back against her head board, her crappy old laptop resting in her lap. "Come on Kara....you have like a month to come up with back rent for this crap hole....there has to be something...." The young feline was looking through job listings online at three that morning with her sleeping three year old laying in the bed beside her. Kara was 21 year old tigress. She stood at about five foot three in height, her fur a jet black with silver markings along her body. Her hair was long, about mid way down her back and a silver color. The main stand out for the woman were her ice blue eyes. Kara had been on her own with her daughter since the day she told her Ex that she was pregnant. He Ex didn't want anything to do with her or the unborn child. As a result Kara had to make a choice, abort the child or drop from school and provide for her. Clearly she chose to provide.

Ever since Kara had been working up to three jobs to keep food on the table for her daughter. Thankfully for the feline her mother helped by baby sitting her granddaughter when Kara had to work nights. Now the feline was in a bind. Her rent was over due and she was on a time limit to get it in. She had hoped and prayed for some sort of miracle to happen. That morning she would get it. Just as she was about to give up and go to sleep she spotted it. An ad for a live in maid. Kara could not believe her eyes. "No way..." She whispered to herself as she adjusted in her bed, reading the ad to herself. "Seeking a live in maid to care for my large home. My work calls me away most of the time and I personally don't have time to keep it clean. You will be given your own bedroom and a decent pay. You will be expected to cook, clean and shop for me among some other duties that will be discussed in person. If you are interested then please contact me via my email listed..."

Kara thought on it for a moment. She looked to her sleeping daughter and gently pushed some of the child silver hair from her eyes as she was sleeping. She let out a deep breathe and whispered to herself. "I don't know what the other duties are but...It is worth a try right?" She looked back to the ad and sent the poster a email. "Good morning sir. My name is Kara Frost. I have been looking through this site for work and your posting seems to fit what I am looking for. I have included my resume for you to take a look at. I hope to hear back for you soon be it accepting or rejecting. Have a good day sir." She sent the email and laid her head back with a sigh coming from her. She was starting to pray when she had a ding hit her computer about five or ten minutes later. "Huh?"

Kara adjusted on the bed and looked to her screen that was flashing with a new email. She raised a brow and hesitated a bit before she opened it to read it. "Hello Ms.Frost. I read over your resume....and would like for you to come to my home for an interview of sorts to see if you can handle the size of my home and what I am going to ask of you. Please arrive at the address listed below at 11 am. See you then." Kara had to hold back a yell of shock as she had gotten the email. "Thank....god...please let this pan out!" She responded that she would be there and closed her computer. she set her alarm to get her up at 8 am before laying down to sleep for a while.

Come 8 am Kara was jolted out of her sleep by he alarm. The feline groaned and got it turned off before getting out of bed. She gently shook her daughter, speaking softly. "Belle come on baby doll it is time to wake up." Belle whined as she was woke up, stretching out and sitting up in the bed, her hair a mess like she had been partying the night before. Unlike her mother the little girls fur was a pure white with gold markings instead of black. She looked to her mother and smiled some. "Morning mommy." Kara smiled and kissed her forehead. "Come on we need to shower dress and eat. Mommy has to go to see about a job and you have to go stay with grandma ok?" Belle nodded and let her mother take her to shower.

Kara made sure she got her daughter cleaned up before getting herself washed while the child played with some water toys. After their shower Kara got her dried off, giving her a giggle fit with the hair dryer. Belle tended to become a poof ball when she was dried that way. Kara smiled and got her brushed then dressed before getting a light blue sun dress on along with some flats. She make a quick breakfast of oatmeal then got the two of them fed before gathering Belle up along with her purse and keys before heading out. Kara got Belle loaded up into her Pre-owned Dodge Dart then headed off to her mothers. The drive was about a half hour and once there her mother grilled her on te job offer. "What is the job for?" Kara sighed and smiled. "Mom it is for a live in maid position." Her mother shook her head and rolled her eyes. "Kara come on really?" "Look mom I am doing what I can to not be on the streets or be a burden to you! This might not even be something that pans out. When the interview is done I will call you and let you know." Her mother relented and nodded. Kara kissed Belle on the cheeks and smiled. "Be good for Grandma. I will be back later I promise." the little girl nodded and smiled. "Ok mommy. I love you." Kara smiled and purred. "I love you too kiddo. Bye mom!" Kara hauled ass out the door back to her car and took off, following the directions she had looked up to this mans home.

It took Kara almost the entire time she had left to find this place. To her shock it was in a gated community. She had to give the security guard at the gate some code in order to be let in. She eventually found the house and felt a bit stunned. "What the....this is almost like a mansion." Of course it wasn't. It was a large home at least three to six rooms alone. She parked in the drive way outside of the closed garage. She bit her bottom lip and got out, locking her car before going up to the door. "Well Kara....here goes nothing." She run the door bell and waited, making sure her dress was alright and her hair was good given she had it pulled back in a braid. After a moment or so her heart skipped a beat as the door opened revealing a large male canine standing there. He was at least a foot taller then Kara and looked to be a hybrid of a wolf with a husky. Luckily he had the markings of a husky, his fur black with mixed white, his hair jet black and short, slicked back. At the moment he was wearing a blue business suit. The male gave her a gentle smile before moving aside as he spoke softly to her. "Welcome Ms.Frost...please come in."

Kara gave a small bow of greeting to him as she smiled some. "Thank you sir." She walked inside and then looked to him. He closed the door behind her and gently placed his hand on her lower back to guide her along down a near by hall way to his study where he let her sit in a chair on one side of his desk. He took a seat behind the desk and relaxed some, looking the feline over for a moment before he spoke. "Well Ms.Frost my name is Jack Mcdowell....and as I said in my add I am looking for a live in maid. I was a bit surprised to get a response to it that fast but am glad for it. Now your resume showed you worked in a hotel as a maid, cook in a few local cafes and some retail work...So basically what I need you to do is clean up..mop, sweep, dust vacuum and the such. As well as laundry and cooking..." Kara nodded some as she listened to him, toying with her fingers while keeping her eyes on him. "Yes sir....I am more then willing to do all that...the ad showed up at a good time as I am between jobs right now....I was looking for something stable to be able to provide for my daughter." That last word caught the male off guard. He blinked and looked her over for a moment. She didn't look like a mother to him.

"Your daughter? And...how old is she?" Jack kept his eyes on Kara as she smiled, clearly seeing some joy of thinking of her child. "She is three sir...but she is well behaved...So she won't be much trouble while I am working and sometimes she helps me fold clothing." Jack smiled at this and nodded some. "Alright..." There was a silence between them before Kara cleared her throat and spoke again. "Sir....the ad mentioned some other duties to be discussed in person...may I ask what those are?" Jack had to grin at this. She didn't miss that at least. Jack shifted and spoke softly."The other duties are more...adult..." Jack looked to her to see her cheeks turn a bright shade of pink. "E...excuse me?" Jack chuckled and shifted in his chair as he sighed. "Adult...meaning I require you share my bed on some nights....I don't require a cheesy uniform. You can wear what you like as your doing your work...but on some nights I will want you to share my bed...and not just to sleep beside me." Kara was floored by this. She flattened her ears back and stared at him. "If you can agree to this then the job is yours...I will set up a bedroom for your daughter as well as a playroom for her....all you have to do is agree and signing the contract." Jack pulled out a contract and laid it on the desk in front of her. Kara stared at it for a moment and looked nervous. This was a chance for a good paying job that included a roof over her head for herself and her child. Kara thought on it for a moment before taking a deep breathe and nodding. Jack smiled and handed over a pen. He watched Kara sign the contract then took both the contract and pen from her to put away for now. "Good...you can move in this weekend." Kara nodded and stood up with Jack. He led her back to the front door then walked her out to her car, grinning as he looked at the blushing feline. "I will see you Friday Ms.Frost." Kara nodded and said good bye before getting in her car and heading back to her mothers. "Oh god...."
