This isn't a story exactly, so much as a window into the fragments of memories Farrago has. This won't really make sense out of context, so you might want to read https://www.sofurry.com/view/1243943

I'm not sure how best to organize my Sunbeam Town stories, maybe I should make a separate folder for them, I dunno.

Big content warning for transphobia. I may write a 'memories' bit for each character, and they're all gonna be focused on trauma, so, yeah.

A young owl cowers in front of her mother, in tears.

"I won't have my son going out dressed like that! Now take off that dress and put on the clothes I bought you." her mother says.

She doesn't understand what's wrong with the pretty dress...she doesn't understand why her mother won't call her 'daughter'.

She sneaks back to bed. They'll hear her if she starts to cry.

Everyone says she's confused about her identity. They're right, because every shred of certainty has been stolen from her by the unending abuse. Maybe she isn't a girl. Maybe she isn't anything.

A young robot swims through the wires, free of her loathsome body. She wants to deny everything. Her penis makes her a boy, her ********** makes her a **********, but here she can break free and be whatever she wants. She can forget that she's just deluded into thinking she's a girl like everyone around her says she is. Here, people believe her, because they don't know any better.

She wishes she could rip her heart out and shove it, still beating, into the core of her PC, where it would be free to feel what it wants in a new body of plastic and metal. Computers don't have penises. Computers don't have **********.

Her mother calls her down for dinner, and her mind snaps back into her physical body. All at once she wants to throw up. If she can't escape this body, she doesn't know what to do. Maybe she should jus****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
