It was an quiet night out, nothing new happened after the trio were out cold so it was a time as any to learn about his titan. "Hey stella? Was i being to hard on them, i mean i did get in a fist fight with a one and shot another in back." Troy looked over to where his northstar was sitting, she was in a crouch position completely unmoving but still responded to him openly. "Sir you needed to gather information in order to communicate with them so you did what you had to do honestly." She replied, she wasn't exactly wrong but if these inhabitants were able to escape and call for help then their would have been a good chance that the planets military would be on his ass.

"Who was your previous pilot before you were placed in my care stella? Most of the titans under my commad had markings that indicated that someone used before." She was silent for a moment before finally speaking up, "her name was lieutenant Elena Kuznetsov of the 206th hell jumper core but she always prefered to be called 'skip' for reasons i can no longer recall." Troy leaned back on his seat and lazily gazed up towards the stars above as she continued her story. "Skip was well respected and feared within her battalion due to her use of the northstar titans previded to her in the battlefield, she was a valuable pilot within the IMC and she knew it too."

Troy was deep in thought, titans can form a bond with their pilot if given enough time with them in combat, it's even possible that they can develop shared emotions with the pilot thanks to the neural link conneting the two, no wonder stella talks so highly of this skip pilot. "What happened to her?" He asked, "she was killed in the heat of the battle like any other pilot in the faction war." She said bluntly, troy was shocked by her response but still listened. "The way she died however, is something i wish i could forget. We were assaulting a mining facility controlled by the apex predators on a exo moon. At the time, we were unaware of them having access to the militia's new vanguard titans" The monarch titans were well known within the Remnant Fleet but weren't fully understood until recently due to them being created by their enemies. "Our ground forces did a considerable amount of damage to them but they eventually perished by the titans, it lead to the point of which it was only me and her left."

"I could hear her breathing deeply inside me and when she finally talked, her words were not of determination or cockiness but pure fear. She was afraid and i felt afraid too." Troy could feel a sense of saddness in the titan's voice which was extremely rare for a machine but he didn't interrupt and let her continue. "5 titans surrounded and shot at us but never pushed forward, it didn't take long until my shields and armor was shredded to pieces, that was when one of the monarchs rushed forward. I tried to flee but he was too fast and manage to grab on to me."

"The enemy titan forced open my chassis while opening his at the same time. The pilot climbed out and proceeded to jump on my back while pushing skip back further into her seat, she responded with a series curses and insults in her native language at him but he ignored her."

" that was when she tried to stop him but...." Stella froze for a minute before finishing, "but i saw the actual titan lift up its arms and smash her to the ground, all i heard was bones cracking and blood be splattered all over me." Troy pulled out the bottle of alcohol and took a swig of the contents. "So im guessing that reinforcements arrived some time later and saw that you were somewhat working and gave you another battery and wiped previous data with the other pilot?"

"That is correct sir, i was inoperable on that planet for 2 months before they found me. When i went back online, i ran away trying to look for her body but i found nothing bur her helmet buried in sand, do i require another wipe sir?" She asked. Troy shooked his head and stood to put more wood into the fire, " no you are fine love, you had shared a close bond together. You miss elena and i bet she'll miss you too if you died." He said. "Thank you sir, my sole purpose is to protect the pilot and you are my pilot until the day i die." He heard groaning to his right and sighed softly. "Alright stella you do self Diagnostics while i talked to these poor saps." The Northstar did as she was told and powered down while troy took one last sip of his drink before making his way to the three creatures that starting to wake up.

The first thing tomi felt when he came to was a huge headache and worst of all, his paws were tied behind his back. He looked to his right to see both of his friends suffered the same fate as him but at least they Looked alright sort of. "Ariel, hunter are you two feeling ok?" The dragoness was the first to respond: "yeah im fine tomi but my wings are in bad shape, i wouldn't mind a massage right about now." She said. Hunter in the other hand looked worse than the other two with his fur completely matted and covered with dirt, his nose dripping with blood constantly. "i had worse than this, that guy hits like a pussy." Hunter spat.

"Your friend needs to have a bar of soap shove down his throat with that type of attitude." Troy said while taking a knee in front of trio, "look just let us go, we didn't do a damn thing to you!" Tomi pleaded. Troy chuckled at the request and pat the fox on the head. "Now i know that this was terrible way for me to introduce myself to you but i couldn't afford let any of you escape and call for help. If that happened and your military gotten involved then." Troy pasued for a moment. "Well alot of your people will die and besides, you three will make great tourists guides of your world!" He said excitingly. "You can't be serious? After all you did to all of us.?" Hunter yelled. "Oh im very much serious wolf boy, i could have easily killed all of you and be done with it but i decided this was more interesting." Troy explained.

Troy pulled out his data knife once more and shuffled towards Ariel while tomi growled deeply. "Dont you dare hurt her." Troy gave him a quick glance before stepping behind the girl and cutting her free. After rubbing her wrist, she went over to tomi to set him free while the man did the same for the wolf. "Now if you run then I'll have my northstar here toss you around like ragdolls and then kill ya." He said gesturing towards the titan sitting Idely in the camp's edge, All 3 nervously agreed and stayed put. "Oh and also im going need a place to stay and rest so i am going to your place fox boy, hope your parents wouldn't mind a alien staying over." Tomi held his paws up in protest but as soon as he did, troy pulled out his pistol and loaded it with live rounds. "I don't have the time or patience to deal with your complaining, just shut that muzzle of yours and take me to your house or I'll put a bullet down one of your friends." Troy said while pointing the gun at ariel who froze on the spot. Tomi did not have much of a choice so he slowly nodded with a whimper. "Good fox now lets get a move on!"

"So basically you were once part of a mining corporation that controlled a good portion of space but some of your kind didn't like the way you roll so they formed some type of rebellion?" Ariel asked. She and troy were sitting in the back of the while while the other two were at the front. "Yep but the IMC turned their backs on their main fleet awhile back when we needed them the most, we had no other option but to adapt to the given situation at the time." The dragon was silent for a moment before talking once more. "So the Remnant Fleet is considered the bad guys?" She asked, troy couldn't help but frown at the question but then again, he also couldn't help but question the orders given to him by the talking robot all sometimes. "Well yeah i guess you can say that but the militia are the ones that wanted to promote chaos in the frontier, we tried to keep them in check." The sun was steadily creeping over the horizon indicating that it was morning.

"After our fueling depo at demeter was blown to shit, multiple factions formed, going at each others throats for reasons only the founders would know." Troy soon laid back against the tailgate with his arms spread to side as he took a big sigh. "My intentions are not to kill any of you, i just want to study your kind and your world because this is the first time we have discovered intelligent life." He pressed a button on the said which casued a slight hissing sound, his visor slowly became transparent; revealing his face to the dragon. "Trust me, you don't want any of the other factions know where you are, hell even my superior doesn't know about your planet and i tend to keep it that way." Eventually, troy tilted his head up and closed his eyes so he could rest.

" tomi are we really taking him to your house, we can just say that we are going there and head straight to the cops. He doesn't even know where you live!" Hunter whispered while rubbing nose slightly. "I dont have a choice, he could all of us if we don't do as he say. If we get the cops involved then that means more people are gonna die." Tomi replied. The wolf was silent after that, clearly nervous about the whole situation. "Look lets just take him to your place and figure out what do to next, I'll call my mom and let her know that im staying with you for the weekend and keep you company." Ariel said with a sly smirk.

Troy talked softly into his helmet so that the trio couldn't hear him. "stella-1 keep tabs on my position, if things goes to shit then regroup with me as soon as possible and val, are they taking me to the boy's place of residents?" There was pause before he heard her chipy voice once again. "From the looks of it, they are heading towards a set of homes that are greatly spread out from each other. One of which could be the place, im still shocked that you are doing something like this!" She said excitingly, spark on the other hand was none to pleased. "Captain this is insane! Why would you want to do something like this?" His voice blared throughout the comms channal. "Spark calm down, if things starts to go to hell then you two know what to do, as long as these kids don't open their mouths to anyone else then we will be golden." Troy tried to ensure his stalker but it was pointless. "We don't what these 'kids' are capable of captain and that's what worries me." He did had a point but hopefully all he'll do while on the surface is gather data about them, learn everything about their culture and history and finally leave.

"Hey umm alien solider human we are here." The wolf said from the front, troy snapped out of his train of thought and examined his surroundings. The vehicle pulled into a gravel road that stretched for quite a distance until it reached a clearing, he spotted a small house that was sitting on top of a hill. "So i guess your family likes to being out in the country huh fox boy?" Troy asked while holstered his weapon. "It's tomi not fox boy and yes my dad loves being outdoors, so does my little sister." Troy couldn't help but smile, no wonder why they have such a huge amount of land. So a mother and father, also including the little sister, he could work with this.
