#46 of Everyone Does It

It's December 12th again, Vlad's birthday and so I've made another Vlad story just for today.

This is mostly a flashback episode.

This is the day when Taylor and Vlad both came out to their families. I've already described this moment in past chapters and now it is here!

Just like everything that focuses on Vlad, expect some emotional stuff in here.

Everyone Does It for Vlad 4

December 12, 2007

Corpus Christi, TX

One rat and one bat lay together on a blanket on a mostly empty beach, watching the sunrise.

Neither had their swim trunks on. This wasn't a nude beach, it was very public, but it was closed anyway.

Vlad nuzzled his boyfriend's chest.

The two had been seeing each other for the past year, ever since that Christmas party.

Taylor kissed his little bat on his forehead, "Happy 18th birthday, Vlady."

Vlad leaned his head back and initiated a more intimate kiss with the big brown rat.

Tay let their tongues play before breaking the kiss, "You're out o' high school. You're practically an adult now."

Vlad blushed when he giggled, "I know right. It's... it's crazy that I'd be here on Padre Island, getting smooched by my best friend's big brother. How's Kay, by the way?"

Taylor shrugged while they hugged, "Kaitlyn's fine. She's planning on starting college this coming January. She's going for, I think, a degree in writing. She's talking about going to Houston. I think she's banking on getting into Rice."

Vlad nodded while his ears fell back, "That's nice. I hope she gets it. She's always been really creative. I've always like that about her."

Tay knew when his boyfriend was upset, "What's wrong, Vlad?"

The bat sighed, "Oh it's just that... Kay and me, we... we never talk anymore, not like we used too. I still remember all those times I'd be at your house. We'd be wrestling, me, Kay and Georgie, all fightin' and tusslin' until we break something then your mom or your dad would whoop your sisters while I got sent home and... ooh boy, Grandma with that hair brush." He shivered comically at that memory.

Taylor laughed, "Yeah, those were crazy times. As for Kaitlyn, she doesn't say much to me either. And we've always been the closest. Out of all my sisters, she's the one who's looked up to me, who I played with, every time she'd rope me into playing Donkey Kong... fuck... I hated those little alligator things."

Vlad laughed, "Yeah, and those fuckin' beavers in those spinning wheels?"

Taylor cringed, "But that mine cart level."

"Fuck..." they both groaned out loud in utter exasperation.

Taylor laughed, "I liked Mario Kart better. I never died in that shit."

Vlad snickered, "I always came last."

They both laughed for a bit.

Vlad calmed down, "So... we're doing it today?"

Taylor smirked, "You'll have to elaborate on which it, because we did quite enough of it last night."

Vlad jokingly jabbed his boyfriend, "You know, dummy. We're coming out to our parents today, right?"

Tay nodded, "Yeah... I'm pretty sure Mom already suspects something. Devout Catholic woman that she is, she would know when people in her family were out 'sinning'."

Vlad smiled, "I've always liked your mom. She's always very friendly, I can't think of a single day I've ever been to your house and not had your mom trying to fatten me up or something." He snickered, "My parents, I don't know about them. I mean, they're liberals but, that's like expecting every marshmallow in the bag to be exactly the same. Eventually, you're gonna find those marshmallows that got deformed because someone didn't handle the bag gently enough."

Tay whistled, "I love that little brain of yours."

Vlad peered up into his lover's eyes, "So we're doing this?"

Taylor nodded, "Yeah, yeah, we're doing this."

The pair kissed as the morning sun shone down upon them.

...

A younger Thelma woke up again to an empty bed.

As much of a violent person as he'd become in his last years, Thelma still missed her husband, missed the kind young rogue he was when they both lived in Alice. Now she could just pray that wherever he'd gone, he was at peace.

The woman was still in her forties, she still had plenty of years to give, so she couldn't spend her whole day moping over her dead husband. She pushed herself out of bed, naked as if she were still a young newlywed waiting to be bedded by her beau. She admired her own body. After four kids, she was still in great shape.

There was a knock on her door which shook Thelma from her thoughts.

"Mama?" It was her youngest child, her adopted son.

"Mama's just getting up, Joseph." She called out before rushing to her dresser drawer.

"Okay but, Mandy said to tell you that Uncle Nico just called. He's coming over with Aunt Essie and Grandma Linka."

Thelma was putting on her bra, "Well, that's nice! Now Mama needs to get dressed, okay Joey?"

"Okay!" He said.

She heard his footsteps as he walked away. She smiled as a thought came to her mind. Seeing those bats always put a big smile on Thelma's face, they were always so full of energy, even catty old Linka.

Thelma went back to dressing herself.

...

When she got downstairs, Thelma came to find Amanda, her middle child, cooking breakfast.

Amanda saw her mother, "Good morning, Mom! We all wanted to do something special for you today. You do so much for us and..."

Thelma nodded, "And you're not borrowing the car, Amanda."

Mandy blinked, "Wh-what?!" She nearly flipped the eggs she'd been cooking out of the pan, "Are you being serious?"

The rat woman chuckled, "I'm your mother, I know when you're playin' sweet, honey."

Georgie laughed, "She's gotcha there, Mandy!"

Amanda shot a nasty look to her younger sister, "Halt die klappe, Georgie!"

Thelma came around and kissed her daughter upon her cheek, "Now, Amanda, I do appreciate the hard work you're putting in, but we're having company soon."

The doorbell rang.

Thelma chimed in, "Ah, speak of the devil! Kaitlyn, you're closest to the door, could you get that while I help your sister?"

Kay got up, "Alright, Mom!"

She opened the door expecting to already see the Romanovs, but instead saw her brother and best friend on the front porch. She stammered, "T-Taylor? Vlad?"

Vlad smiled as soon as he saw her, "Hey, Kay, your mom didn't tell you I was comin' over?"

Kaitlyn put on a smile as she shook her head, "Oh, oh no, she didn't. We were expecting your mom and your dad, but... hey, come on in!" She moved aside to let them in.

Thelma looked up as her oldest child and that handsome young bat both came in. She already had a sneaking suspicion as to where those two had been.

She turned while Amanda was passing out more food, "Well, well, you two both look like you've got something to say."

Taylor spoke, "Yeah, as a matter of fact, Mom, we do have quite a bit to say. Are the Romanovs gonna be here soon?"

Vlad added, "We would like to have all our families together, for what we want to say. However, seeing as we're already here and well, you're here... we could get started already, could we, Tay?"

Thelma turned off the stove as the rest of the family all turned to the pair. She crossed arms as she leaned against the kitchen counter, "I'm waiting." She gave that kind smirk of hers.

Kaitlyn stood in the kitchen behind them. She too seemed to suspect already what they had to say.

Taylor took a breath then he said it, "Mom, now you already know about me being, well, bi... well now, me and this little guy here." He scruffed up Vlad's curly hair.

The bat tried not to giggle out loud.

Taylor hugged the bat close, "Mom, we've been going out... a lot and now we've both decided we wish to make a life together.

Thelma smiled after he finally said it, "Thank you for your honesty, Taylor. And you both have my blessing." She said with a palm pressed to her heart.

Kaitlyn covered her mouth after it had been said. She'd seen them together a few times. She'd been upset over the past year because of it, because it should have been her. Vlad was her friend, she wanted him to be more... he had been her first kiss.

The other two sisters had different reactions.

Amanda had a look of disgust. She wasn't as progressive as her mother.

Georgie smiled wide, "Wow, that's so cool! You'll actually get to live with my brother, Vlad?"

Vlad nodded with his head against his lover's chest, "Yup, that's the basic idea."

Joseph was a little confused by this concept, "So... you guys like kissin' each other and all that?"

Taylor winked to his little brother, "Oh, Joey, we do a lot more than just kissing."

Joey tilted his head, "Like what?"

Vlad snickered, "We'd tell ya but we ain't too old to get spankin's from your mom."

Thelma laughed, "Yes please, do not pervert my innocent child's young ears." She hugged a still very confused Joey.

She then walked around to her oldest son and his new boyfriend. She embraced them both, "And please believe, I am very happy that you both can be open with me and with the rest of us. You know I never let my parents' strict teachings carry on into my ways. They had their way of thinking, and this is mine. Gay, Muslim, Catholic, whatever, we're all Americans here and that should be the most important thing. Not where you come from, or where you go, but who you are now."

Taylor snickered, "Man, it must feel good up on that soap box there, eh Mom?"

She laughed, "Forgive your mother, she's just a forward thinker is all."

The doorbell rang again.

She cooed, "Ooh, that must be your parents then, Vlad." She gave the bat a motherly kiss on his right cheek, "You boys, I mean young men," she winked, "have a seat and I'll go let them in."

Taylor and Vlad both sat down at the table.

Georgie waited until she was sure her mother was out of earshot before she leaned in, "So y'all two 're gonna fuck?"

Vlad blushed and Taylor laughed, "Gonna, and already did... all night, last night, at the beach... mmm, I'm sure we gave quite the show to the marine life out there." Taylor kissed Vlad and made the bat just blush some more.

Georgie just squealed, "Aw that's so fuckin' rad!"

Amanda didn't say anything. She could tell she would be outnumbered, and she never liked making Taylor upset.

Kaitlyn stayed where she was in her corner of the kitchen. She was still processing what had happened. She knew now, indefinitely, she'd missed her chance with Vlad.

Joey still had questions, "So how do you guys even do it? I mean, I thought Mom said you had to have a, a... thing?"

Georgie interrupted, "It's called a vagina, Joey."

Taylor snickered some more, "Well, Joey, I'll just say this... Vlad has a really tight-"

Vlad jumped up and covered his boyfriend's muzzle, "Okay, that's enough, Tay! We don't need to scar the kid! The less these kids know about my crevice, the better."

Thelma came back into the room, followed by Nicolai, Esther and Linka.

"Well, well, what have you all been talking about in my absence?"

Georgie chimed, "The Grand Canyon!"

Taylor had to bite back another laugh.

Vlad got up to hug his family, "Daddy!" He wrapped his father in his winged arms.

Nicolai embraced his only child, "Whoa, Vladimir. You act as if you hadn't seen us in a fortnight."

Vlad retorted, "Well, it always feels like forever when I'm away from home."

Esther chittered, "My, you're extra-excited this morning."

Vlad hugged his mother, "Oh, I am, I really am! I'm the happiest I've ever been today."

He hugged his grandmother last, "And Grandma!" he spoke to her in Russian, <I am very happy you could make it too.>

The old bat cradled her grandson, <Ooh, my baby boy, Grandma is always here. These old legs can still get me around.> She shuffled her clogs to make her point.

Vlad smiled as he stepped away from his elders, "Now, Mom, Dad, Grandma Linka, I know it all seemed so sudden for me to call you all here, but we wanted all our immediate family present for what we are about to say."

Taylor stood by Vlad's side.

Nico had a look, as if he already saw where this was going.

Esther and Linka all showed that they were listening.

Vlad took Taylor's hand then he said his piece, "Mom, Dad, I'm gay. And Taylor," he tightened his grip on Taylor's hand as he could feel his heart racing, "Taylor and I have been seeing each other for the past year now."

Taylor spoke, "In fact, last night was our big night, we are officially together now as of last night."

Vlad blushed, "It was our first time, our first real time. So now..." he checked his parents' expressions. Neither had made any big change and Linka just stayed quiet.

Vlad cleared his throat to give himself more courage, "We have made the decision that we are going to move in together. We intend to find us a nice place, somewhere here in Corpus. Something simple, and that... that is that."

His smile had diminished some as he finished speaking.

Each of his three elders looked among themselves.

Nicolai spoke first, "Vladimir, I would like to be the first to say..." He came up to his son to rest his right palm on his shoulder, "I am proud of you. I-I'd already suspected something. Both Thelma and I, we've always been good friends in that we both have always been so perceptive." The middle-aged bat sniffed as a tear threatened to break free, "Now, I will say, much as your mother had wanted, I had always hoped you would make us grandparents someday, but... if this is what you want, then you have my full support."

He stepped away then Esther came up.

She found it harder to digest that her only child would be living with another man. She'd been raised Catholic, just like Thelma. She'd had a strict upbringing just like her. She thought hard on what she needed to say before she decided words weren't good enough.

Esther hugged her 18-year-old, "You will have my support as well. And your father is right, I did wish to at least see some grandchild from you but, this is your way and I give my blessing." She kissed her son.

Then Linka walked up to her boy. The old bat looked to her grandson with eyes clouded by tears. She did not say anything. Instead, she simply hugged him tight in her old wings.

Vlad seemed about to cry himself after receiving such an emotional response from his small family.

Kaitlyn came up after Linka had to go sit down. The young rattess smiled then she hugged Vlad tight. "You take good care of my stupid big brother, okay?" She said.

Vlad wrapped her up in his wings the way he always did when they used to sleep together sometimes as kids. He finally started crying, "Thank you, Kay."

She cried too, "And... V-Vlad... I-" Did she dare say it now? Did she dare tell him how much she wished it were here that he fell in love with? She didn't, she couldn't, but she did get in one good kiss.

Vlad was not so surprised as he should have been. The two of them used to kiss sometimes when they hung out. It was always a thing that they felt comfortable doing together.

The kiss ended, too soon for Kaitlyn but, she had to control her feelings now. The bat she loved would be with her brother now.

Vlad smiled, "Thank you, Kay."

Vlad moaned softly into his kiss with his best friend.

Kaitlyn had come over to give her special birthday present to this sweet fruit bat she'd been friends with for so long now.

Like she had done the year before, Kaitlyn had woken up Vlad then the two were caught in the throes of hot birthday sex.

Vlad held her shapely hips while she ground into him each time she sank back on his shaft. He kept a good eye on the junction where their privates slid together, his cock repeatedly being slammed to the hilt in her.

Taylor, used to the routine, was downstairs playing with his niece, Rachel, while he let Vlad and Kaitlyn have the room.

Krystal was at work right now.

Joe and Leroy were out somewhere.

Richie at across the table from Taylor, his ears swiveling each time he could pick up his wife's moaning. He chuckled, "Man, she hardly makes noises like that for me anymore."

Taylor could sense the jealousy in Richie's voice, "Yeah... I know what you mean. I still love that little nerd but now with Krystal here... I guess the magic had to go away eventually, but I'm not upset. We're still together, we're still going to make this thing work, even if my husband has evolved into some sort of lust demon."

Richie sighed, "I... I wish I could say the same. I do admire how you always persevere, but Kaitlyn and I... things are stale between us, they're not exciting anymore. Neither of us wish to go back to swinging, but it's blatantly obvious she is... still attracted to Vlad."

Taylor groaned, "Then, it looks like my husband's getting himself a harem... should I be upset or should I embrace this?"

Richie shrugged, "I just sometimes wish we weren't such... animals."

Taylor sighed, "Yeah..."

Upstairs, in the bedroom, Vlad grabbed a firm hold of Kaitlyn's rear and he pressed her down hard into his groin as he felt himself shoot his precious seed into her fertile depths.

Kay moaned when she felt his warmth spread through her. She wished, still wished she could have this every day, but right now, she was simply content to have him here in her arms.

She kissed Vlad, "Happy birthday, Vlad. I love you."

Vlad sucked on her tongue some before pulling away to say, "And I'll always love you too, Kaitlyn."
