Synapse Shock
Scrapping ships is dangerous work, and usually, the longer the crash site goes undisturbed, the more likely something is to take up residence. Just be careful.
Turquoise waves crashed against the bottom of a gray stone cliff. Deep green grass covered the top along with glowing flowers that peppered the terrain. Orange skies and sun reflected off of the water which sent little lights flashing against the stone just above the surface, and the metal nearby. Old remains of a massive ship leaned against the cliff taking its final rest against cold stone. Not a soul stirred among the ship's innards and moss had begun to grow on the hull of the ship along with curling vines that blossomed with the same flowers on land. Whoever the crew had been, they were long gone, either saved or dead; it didn't matter.
A lean figure stood at the edge of the cliff wearing a cloak of brown over their body along with a hood drawn up over their head. Robotic digits moved from a patchwork metal arm to grip at the top of the hood and pull it back revealing a white-furred feline. Sharp green eyes looked down at the old wreck before trailing up the portion of the ship that was resting on the cliff itself. An entrance stood open, waiting for the salvager to come inside, the shadows calling them closer. Vines crept inside leading the way to either danger, or treasure.
A cool breeze passed along Niz's white fur as if to push him along and he mumbled to himself, "No sense in waiting around. Food won't put itself on the table. 'Sides, things seem pretty peaceful."
Those words hung in the air for a moment. As hollow as the last sentence was, it didn't change the first one. Niz looked over the cliff again and slotted the goggles resting on his head over his eyes. There were little lights all over the place showing plant-based lifeforms. The flowers themselves were glowing and from what he could see they were lining the inside. There wasn't anything hazardous that he could see through the display, but then again maybe his tech just wasn't good enough. Maybe with the money he got from this little trip he'd get himself some better implants, or most likely just something nice to eat. Either way, he had put off going in the ship long enough. It was time to get rolling.
With the paw that was still flesh and blood, he reached through the loop of his belt beneath the cloak to grab a light, or rather, what he used as a light. He gripped the orb, feeling with his thumb for a button before pulling it out into the open. He tossed it up into the air after tapping the button and watched as it began to whirr into life with geometric green lights lining the surface. While he brought the goggles up to rest on his head, a single eye opened on the orb and it began to twitch and fizz as it sprung to life.
"C'mon, no need to try anything complicated. I'll get you fixed one day, but for now, bare with me a little and light the path won't ya?"
That was his pod and the only partner he had ever worked with. It was equipped with a few tools to help him out on the job, but a stray shot in a firefight had left the orb not only speechless, but unable to really do anything but turn on their flashlight. Niz could handle the repair job himself, but, materials for a piece of synth tech cost a whole lot of cash. After a bit of complaints in the form of green sparks, the orb settled for a moment before the eye blinked out of existence and flashed a bright light toward the entrance of the ship. With a nod, the salvager began to walk toward the entrance with one paw on his weapon just in case something went wrong.
Niz stepped over the entrance and onto solid metal. He tested it carefully before bringing his other foot inside. His partner brought the light over and he could see that the vines had indeed encroached deep inside of the ship itself. Above him was a metal ceiling covered in hanging moss and other greenery and next to him was a door sealed shut in with yet again more foliage most likely leading to the cockpit. He could cut through that later if he felt like it, but for now, he wandered deeper down the hallway and deeper down into the bowels of the ship where things began to turn.
Sparks flew off of the orb and he nodded, "Mhm, I'll be careful. Don't try to talk though, you'll hurt yourself."
He didn't really understand what his partner was saying, but they'd been together long enough to where he could suss out what a few angry whirrs and puffs of smoke meant. What he wouldn't do to have his pod talking again. The still quiet of a wreck in the middle of nowhere was the worst part of the job, it unnerved him.
The incline on the ship grew, but he could still walk along the surface with sure steps. Every step was another echo of metal being struck that resonated through the darkness ahead. Open doors leading into rooms caught his attention and he checked each one. Barracks and storage rooms with little more than rotted supplies covered in glowing fungus and a bony corpse long picked away by time and scavengers.
It was the usual tale with a wreck this old. There were a few corpses here and there and anything useful on them or in their rooms was rotting or in disrepair, but still his search was thorough. In one of the rooms, he found another pod much like his own. It was a pod unit that still looked just fine, but as he picked it up he found that it wouldn't turn on. He frowned and looked it over, if he had the proper tools he'd open it up, but from what he could see he was guessing that the power supply was damaged. Even a charge of magic would probably do nothing for the poor thing. Well, at the very least he could use it to help his friend, and so he placed it in a pouch on his belt and got back to moving.
Deeper and deeper down into the ship he went. Surprisingly, the light provided by his own pod didn't seem to be necessary. Those glowing flowers lined the ceilings and the walls and with their eerie glow he could see just fine, still, his friend kept flashing that light just in case anything was hiding in any dark corners. Soon enough they found a large rusted door connecting to where they needed to be. Niz placed a paw on the flat screen console nearby and frowned. Focusing, he sent a pulse of magic through the machinery hoping above all else something would happen, but the door only creaked and groaned and the console popped.
He recoiled from the sparks and huffed, "Well, couldn't really expect anything else..."
With a sigh, he touched the metal door wondering where it was best to cut it and the door itself fell back. He blinked and stared and for a moment looked at his pod who looked back at him with that blinding light in his face. Niz winced and turned back to the darkness of the engine room, "Okay, I'll take good luck for once." As he started to walk, his words echoed through the room, "What's the catch?"
His eyes looked up at the metal frame of the door and with the light from his friend, he could see something clear dripping down. Slowly, he drew his gun from the holster at his belt and began walking into the engine room. Light from the pod illuminated the three cores that were used to power the ship. One of them was cracked open and the gem was shattered, but the other two were still intact. Even pieces of those cores could get him a lot of money and two meant enough for whatever he wanted really. Even with that bit of excitement, the feline still approached with careful steps. Niz took notice of strange glowing dots in the air floating around him. Following a trail of them, he noticed that there were mushrooms growing all along the floor. With a frown, he took a few steps toward the first core and began to circle it. The sound of something dripping caught his attention and he turned with his gun trained on the air.
Bright light sprayed forward and revealing nothing but empty space. He let out a little sigh and he lowered his gun, but he still felt looming danger hanging over him and he couldn't shake it off. His partner began to hiss with smoke and Niz rolled forward.
Lucky for him, he had read his partner's signs correctly. A mass of green slime and fungus fell on the area he had just been in. With the light on it, he could see that there were shards of crystal inside of it along with metal. It lurched and grew until it was almost at his height and it began to crawl towards him. Hot pixelated plasma fired through the air, but the creature's body twisted to avoid the shot and it jolted toward the feline. Niz hissed and dodged to the side, but the creature followed and sent him rolling across the floor. He cursed and tried to get up but the slime's mass soon fell on his body and he was struggling to get free. He fired off his gun a few times into the slime and he heard it bubble and squeal before it lashed out at his gun sending it flying off into the darkness.
The pod buzzed and moved to charge at the creature and it was promptly struck out of the air by a lashing tendril. Niz responded by thrashing as best as he could, "Fuck, Pala! Damnit!"
What light had been available disappeared leaving Niz alone with the slime which slowly encroached over his body. Glowing plants and spore around him allowed him to at the very least see the creature and allowed him to see as it planted itself against his head. Cold. It felt like ice was touching him and then suddenly, the world around him shattered. His eyes grew wide and his struggling stopped as he felt something crawling deep inside of his mind. There was no physical pain, and he still yet drew breath, but he could feel something digging deeper and deeper into his thoughts until he could hear something whispering.
Niz's sharp eyes slowly glazed over as he heard the whisper begin to grow louder. At first, it was only one voice beckoning him closer, beckoning his small frightened presence to come out, but soon he could hear many voices calling for him in hushed tones with sugar and honey lining their voices. He couldn't quite make out what they were saying. Maybe they were talking in some sort of strange language, but he felt like they wanted him to come closer. There was something else in his own mind with him and that fact was only now starting to dawn on him. He recoiled in both his mind and in reality against the pull of the slime's influence. In response to his sudden struggles, the slime began to glow and a charge of electricity raced through the body of the creature and directly into the feline. Both his mind and body burned with sudden pain and the mental defenses that he had drawn up came crashing down as what remained of himself was dragged into the slime's will.
Cool bliss began to spread through his body and mind. What panic he had experienced in the final moments before his corruption had faded away and been replaced by a gentle caress that calmed his beating heart. There was still some small part of him that could feel what was going on and his self was still retained, but control was another story altogether.
Niz had been allowed to retain his own sense of self and whether that was deliberate or not he wasn't sure, but perhaps he would have preferred it if his mind had been shattered fully. There he laid in the clutches of the creature and he could do nothing but watch as it examined him with a featureless surface of goo. His vision was blurred and pixelated as if the implants in his head had been corrupted as well. Strangest of all was the fact that he felt no pain or discomfort, no panic or fear either. Niz could only feel a strange bliss that he couldn't will away no matter what he thought. At this point, some morbid curiosity inside of him had to wonder whether this was mind control or just plain and simple paralysis, or both even.
The feline's body remained still as the creature slowly backed away and rose. Shards inside of the slime began to blink in and out of existence before the creature slowly extended two lumbering tendrils to wrap around the feline's body. Bit by bit the creature began to strip the feline of clothing and equipment. It tossed aside weapons and tools and tore apart the cloth and tossed off anything too tough to tear. When it was done, the feline laid there nude and shivering, his cock slowly growing as arousal was pressed through his mind.
Niz wanted to open his mouth and let out a string of severe curses for what good it would do him. He didn't even know if the creature about to violate him could understand words, but at the very least it would have meant he was in control of something. As things were, the feline could say nothing as the slime's dripping tendrils coiled around his body to lift him up and pull him close against the cool body. He tried to move and found that one of his robotic digits could at least twitch and move. He kept himself calm and collected as he waited for the right time to act and waited for whatever had happened to his mind to wear off.
An involuntary gasp escaped his mouth as he felt a third tendril slide between his legs and poke against his rear. His gaze trailed between his legs where he could see a glowing phallic growth sprouting from the slime. With every twitch, it glowed and shimmered in the dark. It was slowly making its way toward his rear where he could feel the tip pressing against his puckered hole. At that point, he could feel something of his own beginning to surface again, and that was fear.
The prodding at his rear brought a strange surge of pleasure through his body that began mixing in with the fear and panic that was bubbling up his stomach. He tried again to see if he could move more of his limbs, but still only the digits of his robotic arm would twitch and spasm. Niz's eyes grew wide as he then felt his rear stretch wide to fit the slime's cool member. Inch by inch the creature began to press and push it up inside of his rear deeper and deeper. What pain he felt was offset by the strange pleasure lingering from the creature's influence. Finally, he could move his mouth on his own, but rather than curse or berate the creature he let out a gasp and a moan that echoed through the dead insides of the ship.
Behind him, the creature undulated and it felt as if the tendril inside of his rear was growing in size. His body was shaking at this point and what control he was regaining was slowly slipping away as his mind contended with the creature fucking him along with something else. His sight glitched further with every thrust of the creature's member inside of his rear and at this point, Niz was moaning weakly. Was it the monster's influence or was it simply his own body betraying him?
A jolt of electricity shot through his body and his cock twitched to attention as he gasped aloud in both pain and pleasure. The creature burned bright with electric light and it pulsed again and again inside of him, each time it releasing another shock of electricity that slowly made it harder and harder to retain that small sense of self that he had been gripping onto for dear life. Niz could still feel himself, could still hear himself resonating inside of his mind and he kept hold of that even if it meant losing full control of his body, but it was so hard to keep it all together. Doing that became harder as he suddenly felt the creature's fat member begin to jolt in and out of his rear. Up and down his body bounced in the tight grip of the creature's tendrils while the slime slammed inside of his rear. Every thrust produced a wet smack that echoed through the room and with each one of those thrusts the creature added in another shock of electricity. His mind was growing foggy at this point and exhaustion was beginning to coil around every facet of his being.
Finally, there was a pause in the violent rutting. He was trembling from the shocks that had vibrated his entire body and he tried again to regain control of his body. Niz found a small victory in the fact that he could move again, but he was far too weak to struggle at this point. The creature coiled segments of its body around his arms and legs to bring him closer and he could do nothing but let out a meek whine. Part of his body was pulled inside of the creature and he could still feel a thick portion of the slime pressing up inside of his rear, pulsing and growing thicker by the second. There was simply no escape, was there? That thought had solidified his loss of control.
The tendril inside of his rear grew wider and wider and he suddenly felt ovular shapes pressing inside of his rear. He groaned weakly and the last vestiges of his struggles surfaced as he felt the slime using his body as a hatchery. Egg after gooey egg pressed into the deepest portions of his rear despite whatever struggles he thought he might be mounting. His body barely moved in the clutches of the slime and a tendril coiled around his neck to squeeze as if it could sense his desire to struggle. Niz's body jolted and he groaned as he felt another shock of pleasure and electricity force itself through him as the tendril around his neck continued to squeeze and squeeze until he found it far too difficult to breathe. Slowly, the tendril began to let up on his neck as the slime felt the feline grow limp.
Niz still drew breath, but only barely. A steady flow of large eggs filled his rear along with a spray of cold liquid that was most certainly the monster's seed. There was little to do except give in to what was happening, and so, the final light inside of his mind began to fade away and Niz ceased to exist.
The slime carried its prize to a dark corner where it stuck itself on the wall. It cradled the feline against it with most of the feline's body dipped inside of it. When it would come time to hatch, perhaps the slime would let the salvager go, or perhaps it would use him again. Only time would tell.
