The Island Trip Begins

A school bus drives along a deserted mountain road as a mysterious female voice speaks "So he's finally on his way here!!

"She was the rowdiest of us all." Akeno whispers to Akemi with a disapproving look.

"No kidding. For a prudetron she sure was rowdy." Akemi replies with a cheeky but also disapproving look.

The bus keeps driving along and drives through a tunnel which leads to an extremely long bridge leading to a large island out in the middle of the sea.

The bus drives along the bridge and makes its way onto the island before driving along a road to a large hotel where it stops and lets out the school kids.

Kazumi gets off the bus with a seriously annoyed look as Hidekazu is carried off the bus by the only two other boys in the class Akatsuki and Daichi and says "Honestly if you can't even take one attempt by me to kill you then how are you going to be a great leader some day!?"

A tall girl with long Blond Hair and Green eyes walks up-to the class next to the bus and says "So you guys arrived here in one piece.

I wasn't sure if you were going to get here safe before the big storm supposedly on its way."

Kazumi looks at her and says "It's good to meet you hostess.

I'm the class rep Kazumi Kiritama if my classmates get up-to anything in appropriate let me know and I'll punish them personally."

Hidekazu awakens hearing Kazumi's last sentence and says "I can attest to the fact that not many of us would risk pissing her off,

but please if you catch anyone punish them yourself for their own sake."

Harue Kirinoya looks at him and says "I may be the hostess but punishing you isn't my job,

but if your current condition is the result of one of her punishments I think I'll call the islands police station instead."

Kazumi gets a slightly angry look and says "If you're not going to trust me then the gloves come off."

"How in the world does a girl my own age own and run a place like that!" Says Kazumi as she points toward the hotel.

Harue gets an amused look and replies "That's rather simple,

I was accepting my Tokyo U business diploma when you were accepting your elementary school diploma,

also this place is owned and run by my family so we naturally have really good staff who make up the difference!"

"Got anymore sharp tongued comments you wish to use to try and cut my jugular open with or are you done for the day?" Harue states calmly as she stares Kazumi right in the eyes like she's a warrior testing an opponent's ability to handle counter attacks.

"Umm ... I think I'll let you off for now." Kazumi replies with an annoyed look on her face.

"Ouch! The new girl just dis'd the Class Rep and got away with it!" Akemi whispers to Akeno with an amazed look.

"She sure did!

I've never seen anyone dis Kazumi and get away with it!" Akeno replies to Akemi with a surprised look.

Harue turns to the building and says "Follow me and I'll show you to your rooms."

The group head into the hotel following Harue and she guides them to the upper floors and hands out keys to rooms to each of them and Kazumi gets a seriously angry look and says "Why are you giving everyone individual rooms!?"

Harue stops and turns to her with a surprised look and says "At our ages it'd be strange if we did share rooms even if you guys are in high school."

Kazumi gets a serious look and says "And what kind of logic is that?

You sound like a Yokai if you use logic like that!"

Harue gets a surprised yet serious look and replies "If that's what you think then you sound like an Onmyoji.

Besides out here in this part of Japan especially this island it's normal to think that way."

"I've heard such things before but I figured that way of thinking was ancient history,

guess our history teacher needs to get out and see the world more." Kazumi replies in a sarcastic and annoyed way.

"Well then here is the key to your room." Harue says as she hands Kazumi a door key and points here to a room.

Kazumi gets a serious look and takes the key before walking into the room and yells "WHAT IN THE LIVING HELL IS THIS!!!?"

Kazumi comes barging out of the room with an extremely pissed off look and yells at Harue "WHAT IN THE HELL IS WITH THAT ROOM!!!?"

Harue keeps a calm look and says "And what exactly is the problem with the room?" In a flippant way.

Kazumi gets a red face with a seriously pissed off look with a lot of embarrassment mixed in and yells at Harue "YOU KNOW FULL WELL WHAT THE PROBLEM IS!!!

WHY DID YOU PUT ME IN A ROOM THAT LOOKS LIKE SOMETHING FROM A LOVE HOTEL FOR FETISHISTS!!!?"

Harue gets an amused yet still calm look and says "I read in your file forwarded by your school that you have a fiancé so we set you up with the couples suite.

Sorry to say that even if you want a room change there are no rooms free today."

Kazumi keeps her pissed off look and red face with embarrassment and yells "IF THERE ARE NO ROOMS THEN SWITCH ME WITH THE PERV TWINS!!!

FUU AND MIZUKO WOULD LOVE THAT ROOM SO SWITCH ME WITH THEIRS!!!"

Harue gets an even more amused look and says "Then I guess you'd prefer the Yuri suite then?"

Kazumi's face turns even more red and she yells "YURI SUITE!!!?

NOT EVEN IF IT WAS THE ONLY HOTEL ROOM ON THE PLANET!!!"

Harue turns and starts walking and says "Then I guess you're stuck with the couples suite."

Kazumi gets a seriously angry look and yells "GET BACK HERE THIS INSTANT YOU JERK!!!

I WANT THIS ROOM SITUATION FIXED NOW!!!

I WON'T SLEEP IN THAT ROOM AS LONG AS I LIVE!!!"

Harue keeps walking but turns her head back and says "That room wasn't tailored for couples to sleep in,

it was tailored for couples to have booty calls but you can still sleep in there."

Kazumi stomps her foot hard enough for it to echo through the hall and yells at her "HOW IN THE HELL DO I DO THAT!!!?"

Harue keeps walking and says "Just flip the switch marked as Room Mode from Booty Call Mode to Sleep Mode and it'll be fine."

Kazumi gets a sceptical look as she goes back into the room and flips the switch and a few seconds later runs back out of the room with a look of shock and yells "WHAT THE HELL KIND OF HOTEL IS THIS YOU'RE RUNNING HERE!!!?"

Harue stops walking and turns to her before getting a seriously amused look and says "Just the only 10 * hotel in Japan if not the world."

Kazumi gets a shocked yet speechless look and as Harue turns around and continues to lead the rest of the class to their rooms.

Later at dinner the entire class sit in a huge hall at long tables as the staff bring in the food.

The staff lay down the plates of food and unveiled the food revealing some amazing yet weird looking dishes.

Kazumi looks at the food and stands and yells "What the hell is with this!!!?

First that crap with the rooms,

now weird food that doesn't look edible!!!?"

Harue gets an amused look and says "I can assure you all this food is perfectly edible local delicacies that have been eaten by our guests since we opened."

Harue walks right up-to Kazumi and looks her right in the eyes and says quietly to her "You can count on it this food is safe.

You're not the only one on this island with Onmyoji ancestry,

my ancestors from 400 years ago were Onmyoji's.

The island was infested with Yokai but we managed to pacify them and whenever the Tokugawa's came we let them loose on them.

Naturally after 400 years of living side by side we've gained some mutual cultural understanding which is why we eat this food."

Kazumi gets a shocked look and says "YOU MEAN THIS IS YOKAI COOKING!?"

Harue keeps her calm look and says "It may not be human invented food but it's good stuff and isn't made of humans or anything so you can relax.

When you think of it this island is their home as well as ours so it's only right that we not take over and instead make friends."

Kazumi gets a freaked look and replies "YOU HAVE GOT TO BE JOKING!!!

NO ONMYOJI WOULD EVER MAKE FRIENDS WITH YOKAI LET ALONE LIVE PEACEFULLY ON AN ISLAND WITH THEM!!!"

Harue keeps her usual calm look and says "When you live with different circumstances your way of thinking tends to change.

We had to adapt to survive and since we were new to the island we decided to get along with the locals rather than take away their home.

Besides we came here as outsiders so it's only natural that we should learn the rules and live here in harmony with nature and the natives.

Even if they are Yokai what's so wrong with getting along with them?"

"Ayakashi are evil, no question about it!!!

They devour humans and destroy our homes!!!

They do all manner of evil things!!!

They all must DIE!!!" Kazumi states firmly with an extremely shocked and angry look.

Harue gets a rather disappointed look and says "I don't know who put ideas like those in your head but they have probably no idea what makes those Yokai tick.

It's like that example of understanding different species that says,

"If you teach a lion to talk all you'll have is a talking lion you're no closer to understanding.",

as it's the same with some yokai but not all.

When you look at it like that then it's pretty clear that those fools who originally came up with that outdated crap were opinionated beyond hope.

I won't tell you to change your opinions but I'll ask you not to go stirring up trouble on the island with the Yokai,

if you decide you want to give our way of thinking a try then feel free but at least give the food a chance as the fish egg and seaweed salad is pretty good."

Kazumi keeps her angry look and turns away before saying "I'll make this clear,

I will eat this food but I won't make friends with any Yokai!!!

If any yokai mess with me I'll kill them without hesitation!!!"

Harue stands up and says "Fine but try not to mistake the local yokai's attempts to make friends with you for aggression as they can be playful and like humans so please try to be civil." before she turns and walks away with a rather displeased look on her face.

Hidekazu looks at Harue and Kazumi with a confused look and thinks "Do those two genuinely hate each other or am I missing something?"

Harue walks out of the room with a displeased look as Hidekazu watches.

"She sure looks pissed." Hidekazu thinks to himself.

A black cat with two tails walks into the room and approaches Hidekazu.

The cat tugs at Hidekazu's cloths with its claws and Hidekazu turns to it and sees it sitting there.

"What is it?

You want something?" Hidekazu asks the cat with a curious look.

The cat looks straight into his eyes and closes its eyes and opens them again as a greeting then raises its paw and does a beckoning gesture and begins to walk away.

"Wait do you want me to follow you?" Hidekazu asks with a confused look.

The cat stops and turns to him and beckons him again before turning away and continues to walk out of the room as Hidekazu follows on behind and says "I'll take that as a yes."

Hidekazu follows the cat through the hotel to the baths where the cat stands at the door with a strange look.

Hidekazu looks down at the cat and asks "Were you leading me here because the bath is ready?"

The cat simply nods and runs off with its tails in the air with a curl to them like it's in a good mood.

"Guess it was trying to lead me here like I thought." Hidekazu thinks as he walks into the bath.

Hidekazu walks into the elaborate bathing area with a large and well designed bath big enough for 50 people.

Hidekazu sits in the bath and thinks to himself "This is one great bath,

but why is it so huge?"

Suddenly a woman with long silver hair, a voluptuous body and red eyes walks in without a towel.

The woman walks up-to the bath with a strange look and steps in before approaching Hidekazu with a really pleased look and says "So you are finally here.

I've been waiting for you to come here for years,

I've wondered many times how this day would go but I never figured you'd arrive with a prude Onmyoji."

Hidekazu looks at her in shock and thinks "This woman is a Yokai!

Why does she think she knows me?

And does she mean Kazumi by prude Onmyoji?"

The woman gets even closer and looks at him with a rather lustful look and says "For our first time there are certainly worse times and places to do it so why not right here?" As she gets closer to him with a look like she's ready to go all the way as Hidekazu looks like he's ready to pass out from the heat and his current situation.
