The Big Party.

CH 50

The ship sat on the horizon like a leaded stain, an unappealing bump breaking the horizon line. It was a heavy commercial vessel, double hulled to weather the high swells of the open sea, but completely unsuitable for shallow waters. For most of the day, two smaller vessels had been ferrying back and forth, waiting to receive cargo containers lowered the heavy ship's hull mounted industrial crane. This was how the pirates received most of their goods outside of air transportation.

The Ambuscade and the Fawkes labored back and forth under their loads, their crew scuttling about making sure the cobbled together vessels weren't collapsing out from under them. Engines ran hot, shat black smoke into the tropical air and leaked oil into the bilge but they got the job done.

"Looks like business before pleasure. " Lola said to the empty room; her room now, completely free from that blonde headed bitch who'd cut up her mattress in a final act of spite. from the window view, many of the beach goers were gawking on the shore, enjoying the fact there was something different to look at along the blue waters.

All day, she'd heard the sound system going off deep in the complex, the music thumping along the concrete hallways, sliding into her room under the door and through her window. At first it surprised her, the rhythmic thumping coming out of nowhere, sending her nose twitching, her ears swiveled toward it, alarmed at this new intrusion. She'd gotten used to the quite of the island, at most there was the surf on the beach, the casual conversations close to her window and the occasional portable radio. That was it, and quiet was the new normal. The music would play for a while, then suddenly stop, play again and then stop again. The randomness of it was beginning to get on her nerves.

Toward the end of the day here was excitement in the air. Women were going to the main complex in groups, talking excitedly amongst themselves and laughing, holding their black t-shirts with the yellow letting, and occasionally a girl already had it on, almost looking more naked when wearing only a tight t-shirt with no bottom, because the eyes would immediately going to the welcoming slit between their legs, or those tight round buttocks. Others had to be escorted along by men, their hands firmly on the women's arms. She could make out the sounds of fruitless bargaining or begging, all met with monosyllable responses or just stony silence.

The last few girls shuffled along sullenly, their body posture saying that they were there in body only, the spirit bowed and not entirely willing. Lola's nose bobbed as she watched these last strays, something resonated in her as she watched through the bars on her window. The lowered heads, the slow but steady walk. Lola stared at them but if they knew or cared, they didn't let on. These were the ones that had started down the path, but either emotionally or mentally they went all there yet; they weren't happy about what they were about to do… but still they went.

“Is that me?" she asked her empty room. “Am I already that far down the line?" For a while she just stood there and watched that last few souls make their way out of her line of sight.

No. She wasn't, she told herself. If nobody came for her then she'd never leave this room, and that was a relief. However, she did know she was already on the path, farther down than she'd been when she'd first crash landed. That thought whisked away any self-congratulations she'd just had.

One way or another they were all heading into that red room.

….

“Check the lights again by the stage door. Which ones are they again?" asked Kevin, a trainer who had still yet to make the inner circle. He had blue eyes and was quick to smile but hadn't produced a star from his stables yet. “I can't remember all the numbers."

“15 and 16." said one technicians sitting in front of several haphazardly stacked monitors, an ocean of dials and switches were laid out in front of them. The Chili Room used to have a mezzanine, but that had been walled up and converted into a control room that the staff could mastermind the venue's events. One way mirrors allowed the staff privacy to view the festivities below without engaging the audience, allowing for tighter control. It also kept their guests in a more controlled space, kept them from wandering around between levels; a lesson learned from previous engagements. No need to go exploring when all the candy was within arm's reach, and all the side doors had locks.

Chen had his laptop plugged into a PC tower and was setting his scripts up that would start collecting data as soon as their guests arrived. Gunther was looking over his shoulder.

“Tell me again why you like looking through all this?' Gunther asked with some mild interest, but mostly he was killing time.

“By understanding how people work, we can predict their actions and then create events that push them in the direction we want them to go, or curb behaviors that we want to stop."

Gunther said nothing.

“In other words, we can make them spend more or change the mood of a crowd. We can even change where in the room they want to be." Chen said annoyed, docking a series of windows into his browser.

“Ah." Replied Gunther. That sounded like a bunch of flowery talk, and while Chen did provide results, Gunther liked to put his faith in things that he had experience with. His girls would be up on stage today, and his Star was already waiting in the Playpen. Girls were what he trusted to change people's moods, all smiles and legs.

Today he was interested and watching a very different spectacle playout. Almost a side show in the big picture of things, but an important enough to possibly be a make-or-break event. The animal his protégé seemed to enjoy playing with, was making her debut event over the bar in a few hours; her first public viewing. Would she manage to pull it off or make a mess of things? Sometimes he found it surprising she could even talk, and he had no idea what his lead student saw in her. Well, there was one thing- she was small, which meant she was tight and that always had a certain allure to it. That he could respect. But it was her temperament was in the spotlight tonight, she was strong willed and that usually meant trouble. Trouble is not what his student needed, as tonight was going to be a test for him as well. Gunther liked him- his student was turning into a fine trainer, with a firm hand and methodical mind. But he'd made a lot of promises and everyone was about to see if he could keep them.

“Yes." Thought Gunther, “Tonight will be telling." For his student, for the rabbit, and for the island if they made their lead guest happy. All pieces of the puzzle were slowly colliding together.

…..

“Uhhh!" Groaned Lola. “This is killing me."

The sun was going down and everyone had left the beach. Once she'd seen a man walking the other way with a military surplus walkie-talkie, it's oversized antenna bouncing with his stride.

“He's probably doing rounds, making sure everything is fine. Part of a mop up crew." She muttered felling anxious.

She had no idea what time it was. Her room was bare of any time piece and the only things she had to mark the passages of time the sun and the rhythms of the island. Dawn. Sunset. Afternoon shift changes. People going to work, or coming back from work. The runners doing a circuit of the beach in what was midafternoon by her best guess. Not knowing how soon this event started was killing her. Time had become elastic. It might take her a whole afternoon to get something done or maybe it was only five minutes. It was impossible to tell. She knew that it was slowing her down, making her lazy. Without a bench mark, things just started to take as long as they took. Getting up in the morning, showering when she was let out on her leash, stretching, even masturbating for the camera she was given. She didn't have a regular schedule and it was probably making her sloppy.

Lola realized she needed something else to keep from going stir crazy. Brandie had been such a dominant force in her life that had taken her mind off all her other problems. The bitch had been in her room, in her mind, and in her personal space to the point she had completely taken all of Lola's attention. For the first-time Lola wondered if that was Brandie's goal- to be the sole focus of attention, that wouldn't or couldn't tolerate other rising stars, and thus they had butted heads. HARD.

What did that say about her? Lola was competitive, she'd always been so and that's what lead her to a promising career on the court. It came so easily to her that she'd fought Brandie almost out of instinct when it to protecting what was hers. Had she thrived on the feud that lead to Brandie's expulsion? It had been exciting, thrilling even to take control of the situation, to take risks. Now that it was done, Lola felt… bored. She needed something to fill up her life again, now that the immediate threat was gone. Without to strive for, she like she was missing out on… something… that everyone else was part of.

She looked at the wall and, no surprise, it was still empty. No clock. Now time was dragging out for what seemed like forever. The music was now playing constantly in the background, and there was nobody to seen on the beach. The waiting was driving her crazy and she started pacing about the room. Doing something was a course of action. Not being able to do something, being in limbo, was murder. She'd been dreading this for weeks, maybe even longer, but at this moment she just wished it would just be over and whatever happened would happen.

……..

By evening time, the ship was nothing more than a cancerous red blob silhouetted by the setting sun.

Small launch trails of smaller sports craft detached from the back of the vessel heading for shore like torpedoes, as if someone was trying to blow up the beach.

……………

His radio squelched and Don knew it was the signal.

“Light 'em up!" he barked at his work crew, his tail beginning to wag. A dozen or so men, some security, some ship crew, started lighting tiki torches on the beach. They started to form two rows, creating a path between them that wound up through the beach and into the commons. Setting them up had taken almost no time at all, not when you have plenty of slave labor that you needed to keep busy. Fidgety women weren't something you wanted right before a big event so keeping them occupied was a priority. Most of them wanted to help, or at least look like they were helping, just to be doing something different than their normal schedules, some of them to run their eyes over his muscles. He was the island's ax man, the one who came to take others away, never to be seen again. His physique was broad, almost chiseled under his brown fur, and he held a strange fascination with the ladies. Most loathed him, but there were some who both wanted and feared him in equal measure. It was something he liked to use when he wanted to get a job done in a hurry, like today.

He turned toward the ocean and waited.

…………..

Lola was wondering if she could strangle herself with her ears when the door opened behind her. Even after all this time, all she'd been through, some part of her was surprised he didn't knock. She no longer looked wide eyed at the intruder, nor did she try and cover herself up, both those were novice mistakes. Now she was just kind of peeved that nobody had the good manners to do so. He was there again, “The Man", her trainer, the one who was steadily crawling deeper and deeper into her head, despite all her active attempts to keep him out. Fuck, even after all this time, she still didn't know his name. That pissed her off more than anything, well, except when he'd forced himself into her back door. Yea, that bugged her more than the name thing. Her ass clenched reflexively.

They stared at each other for a moment, and in that split second, she wondered how far he'd already changed her, and how much further was she going to fall tonight. This was it, “her big debut". This was the challenge she'd just been hoping for but at the same time dreading. He had the leash in his hand and that made her weak, leaning back against the wall to keep her legs from giving out on her. She thought she'd be brave, ready to face anything, bolstered her courage up.

She was wrong.

Lola wanted to do this on her own will, to walk down the hall by herself, on her own volition. If she was going to her damnation then she wanted to do it with her chin held high, and not be paraded around like an animal. But he'd brought the leash, and there was going to be no talking him out of it. She remembered the late girls being escorted by the men, being pulled along, begging. Well, here was her man, and while he was going to escort her she wasn't going to beg. That was the one god damned thing she wasn't going to do tonight. Still, even though he had humiliated her, walked her about the compound like a dog, yes even raped her, he was the only one on this island she trusted. He was still her shield, still her protector and provider and if she had to do this all over again, she would have picked him to be the one to do it to her all over again. She shifted thinking about it. Had she chosen him because he protected her… or… would she chosen him because of how he made her feel when he did those things to her. In his cabin… at the post in the commons. Mmmmm…

He jingled her chain and she knew she was taking too long. It took a monumental force of will to push herself off the wall. Her feet were lead, legs weighing a thousand pounds each, but she had to go to HIM, and do it all herself. She finally stood before him, reached for the leach and clipped it to her collar.

They walked down the hall, still not speaking. It was the hardest thing Lola remembered having to do in a very VERY long time. She shivered a little, the concrete feeling exceptionally cold under the pads of her feet. They turned off the path she was familiar with, walking down as smaller hallway, full of locked doors, and it made her realize how much of this place she still had never laid eyes on.

The music was getting louder, as they walked through the halls, the deep thumping muffled by the thick walls. This place looked spartan- no nameplates on the doors, fliers on the wall… nothing at all. The halls seemed to stretch forever, row upon row of locked doors stretching into the darkness. Part of her through the hall was sloping down, descending as they traveled, her anxious mind playing tricks on her.

There was a door at the end of the hall, almost a candy colored bright red. The music seemed to be pushing at the door, trying to thud its way through the metal frame. This was the back entrance to the Chili Room.

“If I go in there, am I going to be the same person? Does everything change in there?" Lola thought to herself, unconsciously slowing down as they drew near, hunching in on herself defensively.

“Stop being a drama queen." Her brain responded. “It'll be something good or something bad. One of the two WILL happen, and you can't stop it, but you can influence which one comes up."

“Oh… wait…. Brandie's down there!" Lola thought. “She hates you, AND she's in her element. I'm the one that's keeping her from being on stage tonight. She'll be down with the rest of the CG's… whatever that means… probably watching me the whole time!"

“SO WHAT?!" her brain snapped back at her so hard it almost made her wince. “Seriously, so what? What can she do? Look at you? Because that's all she can do. Just look. That's it. You're also forgetting something- You won. You fought for your room against her, and YOU WON. She's down there on the floor because she came at you and lost."

Lola had to think about that for a moment and straighten up a little, squaring her shoulders. “Yea… I guess that's right." The crowded events she'd stared in weren't going to be anything like this and it had unnerved her, and made her jumpy. All the time on the island had lead up to this point and it lay just beyond that door. No wonder she was a bundle of nerves. The idea did stick with her- was had fought… and won! By now word must have gotten out that she went toe-to-toe with Brandie and came out the winner.

The man was routing around in his pocket for the keys, and looked at his charge. Once again, Lola was doing her best to crawl up inside her head and stay there; it was like a hobby for her.

“Not now." He thought to himself. Especially not now. He was going to have to keep her focused or she might fall apart, and he didn't want that to happen. It had happened to plenty of girls, even the confident ones. Tonight, was her debut, and he had too much invested in her. He didn't want to see her fail, so he flicked the leash to get her attention. The tan rabbit snapped out of it and looked at his chin, still avoiding his eyes.

He was going to make her think about him, even hate him if that's what she needed to divert her attention away from the task at hand. Bait and switch, focus the attention on to something familiar and overcome the obstacle. He didn't want that, not by a long shot, but he wasn't going to fail in front of everyone tonight, and if he wasn't going to fail, neither could she.

“The rest of the way you'll be on all fours."

Lola had tried not to cry the entire time, but now her lip was trembling. She'd crawled by his side through the commons, in front of an audience, and she thought she'd be used to it by now. But she wasn't, and tonight she felt exceptionally vulnerable as throughs and emotions played speed laps inside her head. It was one thing to psych yourself up for it, and I was entirely something else to have to do it, just as she'd found out in front of the mirror, trying to play the slut to an audience of one. She looked at him, and tried to hold it together.

“Don't look at me like that- show respect. Beside didn't I let you walk down here, all this way on your own two feet when I didn't have to?"

Lola nodded.

“Ok then, what do you say?"

“Thank you." She looked at the floor. It sickened her to realize she knew exactly what he wanted to hear.

“That's right! Good girl! Besides, there's carpeting inside. You'll be fine."

She got down on her hands and knees, staring at the cement floor and the side of his shoe, and felt her breasts sway under her, still heavier than normal from her injection. Unexpectedly, she felt his hand stroking the back of her ears, and they warmed to his touch, sending her tail twitching. She leaned in on him, resting against his leg, letting the connection between the two of them steady her nerves.

He turned the key I the lock, opened the door, and the music poured out to greet them.

CH 51

He was right, there was carpet, and nobody had vacuumed it in a very long time.

There were two other men in the hallway, who had turned to look at them as he walked her in. She wasn't sure if they had tuxes on, it was hard to crane her neck all the way up to get a good look, looming giants that they were now. The hems of their pants looked nice but their shoes differently- the shoes were all action. Thick gripping soles and probably steel toes from the round ends. They didn't say anything as she crawled by them on her hands and knees. She flushed, expecting a cat call, maybe even bend down to cup their hand around her breast, but there was nothing. She kept doing, the walk slowed down by her pace.

“Why didn't they open the door for you?" Lola asked.

“Because if I didn't have the key or couldn't do it myself, then I have no business inside." He said.

“The, “I'm not here to make friends" attitude radiating off them?"

“Yep. Nobody's friendly off the main floor. Tonight's a different beast entirely." He nodded as spoke.

The stairs going up was annoying to transvers, and both her hands and knees ached by the time they hit the second floor. She'd gotten better at going around on all fours, but there hardly any stairs on the island and she ended up banging her shins a few times. Another man at the top of the stairs, stood outside the control room door, looking impassively down at them. They went inside and the music grew in volume.

It was busy, and the crew working the consoles barely gave them cursory glances before going about their business again. There were a couple of second looks, but by now everyone had their chance to see the caged rabbit if they wanted to. At other end of the room two men were looking over a cluttered table, one sitting, one standing. The sitting one never took his eyes off his laptop. The other, a taller man with greying temples looked at her with some skepticism, pursing his lips as if he was about to say something but hadn't made up his mind.

Lola felt like a bug under that gaze; an amusing thing crawling about on the floor, or she was something interesting he'd found under a microscope. Interesting but not entirely wholesome. She could feel her trainer's posture change as he straightened up a little. There was a power dynamic here and for the first-time Lola thought she sensed he wasn't on top of things, that he wasn't in total control. She had to keep from trembling.

She didn't want to be a slut, or whatever they were training her to do, and she certainly didn't want him confusing the subject by trying to tell her that she'd always been a repressed whore and just needed to be enlightened. But as much as she didn't want to admit it, he was her shield, deflecting away the worst this island had to offer from her. He was stability and order in her life, set the rules and created consequences. So, when her dodgy-as-hell “protector" looked like he wasn't the Alpha in the room, it meant she really couldn't rely on anything- nothing was known and everything could be in flux. Hadn't Don said her mouth was already up for grabs? Was she going to find out in this room? She almost instinctively moved closer to him, putting her captor between her and what was probably his boss. She knew how it looked, like a child hanging on to her mother's skirts for protection, but right now she felt she needed it. Considering what the older man thought of her, it might even make her look like less of a target.

“You're a liar." Her brain added, always as the worst possible time. “You DO need him. You want him. Everything he's done to you has been a turn on, like it or not."

“What the hell? Getting locked in a cell and almost going crazy was a turn on?!" she snapped back internally. She wished she could have left her brain back in her room. She was a blonde, and weren't they supposed to be airheads? Not her luck.

“Ok, maybe not so much on that part. But all the touching, the demands, all of that got you wet and willing. The leash, the sex in the park, in his home, even knowing he's watching you masturbate for him every day. All that. Makes. You. Wet. You know it. He knows it, but he's the only one honest about it."

“… and after that, we're past the initiation. Things can progress up at a faster pace." Lola snapped back to the here and now. Apparently, she'd missed most of a conversation her trainer and this other man were having, probably just staring vapidly into space. On the other hand, maybe that wasn't such a bad thing tonight- they might have expected it from her.

“We shall see." Said the older man. Grooner? Gomez? Guter? She thought she'd heard his name before. “Good luck to you and…" he looked down at her skeptically, “…the rabbit."

For some reason that pissed her off and she glared up at him. She really, didn't like the feeling that she was getting off from him, like she was just some animal doing a party trick. She was a real thinking, feeling person, but she bit her tongue and kept quiet.

They parted and The Man took her over to the control room's window, patting a seat by the very edge of it; the rest had been occupied by monitors and various look out positions that were being manned by people with binoculars. Lola wondered why he'd let her sit in a chair and not on the floor.

“I want you to look over there." He pointed out across the room. “No. Over THERE, up the stairs into the private sublevel. See who's in there?"

Lola looked around until she found the clear acrylic stairs lit up with pink neon, leading to the space they'd called The Playpen. Why she remembered THAT bit of trivia was beyond her. In that pinkly lit lounge, there were four women, grouped together, laughing at someone's joke. Lola's eyes went wide, because these women… they had clothes on! Sure, they looked like high class street walkers with their tube tops, patent leather micro skirts, stockings and other regalia, but still- they had clothes! As she watched one of them took a phone out of her purse and took a selfie with the girl sitting next to her, both with pursed lips. One of them made a little V sign with her fingers.

“She has a phone." Lola said almost breathlessly.

“That's right. She does. She's also got a car."

“A CAR?" Lola said incredulously. The woman with the phone looked like she was texting. “She's sending it to someone… who's not here."

“That's also right." He said.

Lola was glad she was sitting down, as this almost too much to take in all at once. Having her actions curtailed for so long, and having almost next to nothing, made this look like an incredible display of wealth and power. She just sat and stared dumbfounded. The woman had someone to talk to do that wasn't here and they were letting her send messages to them! The pirates, slavers, or whatever they were, didn't care who it was.

Another through dawned on her. “She's not calling for help."

“Those are some of our Stars, girls who have reached the highest levels in our organization." He omitted the part of it was the highest levels a girl could rise to. “When I said, that you could leave the island, I meant it. Those women come and go as they please. They live and work on the mainland. They move in social circles that you have never seen. This is the potential I saw you when we first met. It's always been there, to be more than that you were."

He leaned in close, making her pull away a little, speaking lower, but still audible over the music coming through the windows. “I knew that you had the possibility to be the best. The absolute best of them all."

She looked at him, and then back at the girls. Her heart rate was up, spiking with excitement. She remembered having a phone, someone to call, hell, Lola remembered what it was like to wear pants and have clothes; she saw everything she used to have rushing back to her in a string of memories. She leaned forward, eyes flicking back and forth, pressing her palms, then her breasts against the one-way windows. “They're also…."

She was cut off as one of the men working over the monitors spoke up. “Our guests have arrived. Less than five minutes now."

“Get everyone into their places." Said the older gentleman.

Downstairs, a door open by the side of the stage and a man walked out, followed by a line of women, dressed in only a black crop top t-shirts that barely covered their breasts. She couldn't see what the identical yellow lettering said, but she'd seen the shirt up close and knew it well enough. Brandie had one of those shirts, and they would all say the same thing, “Cunt Girl" in that stylized 70's lettering. The women were paraded out into that cup between the two prongs of the stage. A small group of came out behind the last of the women and closed the doors behind them before taking positions at the edge of the room. She wasn't sure if they were there to keep the women in place, or make sure the “guests" were kept off the stage. Probably both.

Then Lola saw her. Toward the left the stage, looking wistfully up at it, the tall statuette blonde was absent mindedly pushing a few wisps of flaxen hair out of her face. Brandie. As if sensing she was being watched, Brandie looked distractedly up at the mezzanine control booth, her eye roaming across the mirrored windows. Finding nothing, she looked at her nails and then back at the stage. There was a relaxed nonchalance about her, as if this was just going to be a normal Saturday night out at the club. She was easily the best of the bunch, and Lola could, begrudgingly, see why they'd chosen to elevate her to a performer status. Lola found herself balling her fists at the sight of the other girl, the hackles raising along her spine. This was a person she'd defeated, and the fact she didn't look demure or regretful made Lola angry. It was if Brandie was acting like nothing had happened! Her nose twitched and her ears were pressed as far back as they'd go.

“Bitch!" she thought to herself.

Lola wasn't even aware he was looking at her at the end of the leash he was holding. He watched her posture change and she focused on something below her. Someone would be more accurate, probably the leggy blonde. Apparently, that conflict was still burning bright, which meant it was useful to him. Lola was focused, determined now, the little reluctant bunny a thing of the past. Why try force someone to do something when you could get them to motivate themselves?

A tug at her collar turned her around and he motioned to the door. With grumbling that couldn't be heard over the music Lola got back on her hands and knees, tail up in the air, slit on display, as they began traveling at her pace.

“This is it, right?" She asked him. “This is where I go up into the cage? I- I don't know if I can do this."

“I think you can." He said.

“You know, if I screw this up, you're going to be in trouble too." She let that hang there as they exited the control room and started down another thin hall with worn out carpeting, toward some stairs up. Stairs, they were quickly becoming something to dread as almost barked her shin again.

He didn't break stride but there was a slight pause, and she would have missed it if she hadn't been paying attention.

“Gotcha!" Lola thought to herself. She might own next to nothing, she might not be able to even walk upright right now, but she did hold some power and she could use it.

“I don't think you should worry about that. Right now, I need you focused on what you're about to do. You have one job tonight and that's to dance. You can try to be the best dancer but I don't know if that's going to happen. Chances of that are actually pretty low."

That got her hackles up. “Low? People have been hanging around my window for, what, a month now? Some of them drooling, seriously, there's wet stains on the bars. And you think my chances are low?" her nose wiggled up and down in annoyance. She knew he was deflecting, trying to change the subject, but still, he was wrong about what she could do when she wanted to. Hell! He'd never even seen her dance!

“Yes, you can look pretty when you want to, but you're up against professionals now. The girls on stage have an act, and they've been practicing. This isn't their first rodeo, and it is yours. What you see will probably be a little too much for you to handle, so I want you to stay focused on what you can do. If things get too much, look at the ceiling, pay attention to the music, shut your eyes if you must, but DO NOT stop. If you fail, freeze up or fall apart, you'll get pulled out. If that happens... well… I'm sure you remember your first room- that empty concrete little box. That will be your new home until we decide that happens next. That could take a long long time."

If Lola's heart had been thumping hard before, it was a sledgehammer now, trying to knock a hole through her ribcage, her rabbit nose wiggling.

Finally, they reached the top, opening into an unfurnished open space that partially looked like it was under construction. The floor turned to plyboard that squeaked when she put her weight on it sending dust motes drifting lazily around.

“We must be on the third floor, over the ceiling." Lola thought to herself as she could feel the music coming up through the floor through her hands and knees. While she wasn't exactly afraid of heights, she didn't like them and this felt like she was on thin ice, ready to break apart under the first wrong move. That sent chills up and down her spine.

However, there already was another man up here, weighing more she did, and he hadn't fallen through. He was standing next to what looked like an oversized midlevel lantern- a tapered box with see through walls that didn't quite look like glass, and metal bracing up along all the edges and completely encased the top. On each of the corners on what could only be considered a cage, a were long chains suspended to winces along the roof.

“How's it look Alan?" the man asked, raising his voice a little over the noise form below.

“I went over the chains and the body, it all looks fine to me. It's held up surprisingly well." The island's welder gave the case a pat.

“Oh great." Said Lola.

He led her to the gilded cage, urging her to stand up once they were finally there. Lola got a better look at it, then reached out to run her hand across the surface. The walls were plexiglass. She pressed and then pressed again, harder. There was no give or bending.

“Well, at least I won't be falling out." She said, trying to find some positive note to hang on to. She signed. “This is it huh?" Looking back and forth between the two men. The new guy, she thought he was called Alan, he was looking at her with some serious attraction- she knew the look allll toooo well now.

“Yea bub, my mouth greenlit but I gotta go to the party." She thought to herself and just gave him a warm smile. She'd learned to do that too when her visitors came to the window, a fake little show for them. The problem was they fed off each other- her and the audience at the bars. They responded and… she hated to admit it, she liked the attention, how genuine it was. She missed it from the games when the crowd was cheering for her, calling her name. Now she had crowds of three or four. But it was still there, that same spark that would warm her up and turn her fake smile into a real one. Of course, she'd hate herself for it later, but at the time… well… it was nice in the moment."

“Admission of guilt or admission of pride?" her brain asked.

“Ohhh… now?" she mumbled.

“You find the oddest times to be honest with yourself. You like it when people look at you. You like the attention. Now you just do it with all your clothes off and you're still smiling."

“That rea…."

The man shook her a little as he undid her chain attached to her collar, snapping her back to the present and her eyes focused on him, then immediately dropping down to his chin. She did find the oddest times to get wrapped up in her own skull and he was beginning to wonder if he was ever going to break her of that habit. He needed to find the reason why she did that and replace that need with him, transplant himself MORE into her life so she didn't go hunting for questions in her own head. She should always be going to him for answers. She'd made eye contact for a moment before looking away. Good.

“Last minute pep talk." He said reaching into his pocket and fishing around. “I believe in you. You're going to do this. The only thing between you and victory tonight... is you." he fished out a small ear piece and fitted it so it held her ear tight, the bud fitting into place. “This has a mic, you can talk to me if you need to. If things go wrong, we'll pull you out. However, if it's not a fire or someone shooting, then it's going to be a failure on your part, a big fat zero on your chart."

“Shooting?" Lola's eyes got wider.

“Just metaphorically speaking. There's not going to be any shooting."

“Oh…" she looked embarrassed. Of course, there wouldn't… derp!

“You can hear me and I'll hear you." he said.

“And if you start crawling up into that dumb bunny head of yours, I'll probably hear that too." The last part was to himself. “I also wanted to say that I'm proud of you."

“For what?" she asked.

“I didn't have to drag you here. You managed it all on yourself. That's a lot better than some of the others.

She didn't know how to respond to that, so she just nodded.

“So! What does my girl say?" he asked, pushing her chin up and forcing her to look at him directly.

Lola felt her knees get a little watery as she gazed into those ice blue eyes of his.

“I… I like it when you look at me." She said softly.

“That's right. You do. And you're going to like it when everyone looks at you and sees the prettiest girl in the room. You're going to like that a lot. Right?" Still holding her chin he made her head nod “yes" like she was a little girl. Then, he leaned in and kissed her firmly on the mouth. His tongue parted her soft lips, and she felt her mouth unintentionally open to let him in, yielding to him before she had time to think about it. His tongue caressed hers, and she responded, letting them entwine in a deep kiss.

He broke it just as suddenly as he'd started it, a thin strand of siliva stretched between their mouths and then broke, slapping wetly on Lola's chin. She was leaning into as he pulled away, but she was unable to match him and she had to catch herself from falling over. Out of all the things they'd done together, with each other, this one was perhaps the only intimate thing she'd experienced. Her heart pounded and she really didn't want to leave him.

“Now, up, in you go." He undid the latch on the cage and gestured her to get in, physically turning her reluctantly around, directing her into the clear box.

Heart racing, she stepped up and into the cage, and head the door click behind her.

The cage shook once and the door opened below.

She took one look below her and almost passed out.

Chapter 52

“She's in." came a voice on Chen's headset.

He entered the timestamp on his laptop and added her data marker to the set he was tracking.

Chapter 53

She was staring at the hole in the ceiling she'd be lowered through, watching the chains disappear up into the darkness. The music pulsed around her like a living thing, and it almost drowned out the sounds that were coming up from below.

Almost.

Instead she focused on his kiss, and immediately felt her insides melt. She held onto that feeling, their lips touching, his tongue opening her mouth, exploring it. Her yielding to him. She held on to that TIGHT as she looked up and tried to get rid of the hair standing straight up along her spine. If he was strong, then she could be strong!

Lola wasn't a voyeur, and she'd never sought out porn to watch on her own. Sure, she'd seen it, but that was in passing and it didn't hold her interest. The times when the actors had looked directly at the camera, had creeped her out, because she felt like she was interrupting; she was intruding and they were looking only at her. Not even in the heady days of her experimentation during her teenage years had she ever sought it out to look at. Sex had been conflicted enough for her, so watching other people get it on, was firmly in the NO category.

So when she'd taken her first good long look at what was going on in the room below her, she nearly crawled out of her skin.

………..

The man adjusted his headset volume so it would start out low and turned it on, fitting it in his ear.

“OH GOD! OOOOHHH GUUUUHHHHHH!" came Lola's voice through the mic.

He sighed.

….....

An orgy of bodies pressing against or pushing into a rolling, groping, nuzzling, slapping, undulating mass of people. Coming together and pulling apart, singles became groups, and all of it had burned its self into her brain. All the tables, the oversized seats, and plenty of the floor around the stages, were filled with people rutting uncontrollably. Part of her thought it was ironic that she could be lowered naked into a sex party and feel ashamed for being the voyeur. Girls were bent over tables, hanging on tight while the guests slapped wetly against them, glistening cocks sliding in and out of view between their partner's legs. Over to the side there was a row of girls kneeling closely next to each other giving blowjobs, and Lola's watched those freshly shampooed heads bob up and down, up and down, just like she had on the beach. How many girls had been trained on that beach? She blinked and wondered what it would be like to be giving head next to one of your friends, feeling her heat beside of you while your mouth tried to coax the sperm out of a complete stranger you met less than five minute ago. Had they even talked to the guys or… she blinked and snapped out of that train of thought. Why was she going into all those details? Did she really want to know? Did part of her want to find out?

It was the girls on the floor that had made her gasp. Sometimes it has hard to see those women with all the suiters clustered around them. Was that Sandii? Star? Lola realized that if she was going to get off this island she was going to have to start remembering people's names. The girls were usually on their backs, legs spread wide with… someone… spearing her Venus mound, that bald slit spread wide and wet for the man. But there were others grouped around, and the girls hand their hands full, each with a stranger's cock, pricks sliding in and out of their cupped fingers. It wasn't enough, for there was another in their mouth, sometimes their heads held still, the shaft sliding in and out of the girl's soft lips; a nice little hole for them to enjoy. Even as she watched, one of the men pulled out and began to masturbate furiously, ropes of sperm squirting over the girl's face, across her cheeks and down her chin, blurring her features and making them soft, indistinct and sticky.

Those girls were still having it easy. “How do you they do it?" Lola breathed to herself as she saw men straddling their chests, pressing the girl's breasts around their cocks, rutting through the soft pillows. Others had men sunk deep in both front and behind, shaking as multiple partners pushed and thrust into them, making them dance like puppets, sexually demanding more and more from them. “S-six? All at once?" She mumbled, repulsed but completely unable to look away, riveted by the debauchery from the cluster of figures. It was so… over the top, so raw and brazen, it was mind numbing to comprehend- so many just… using the girl so casually; no intimacy, no courtship, just giving into lust. It looked like those snake balls in the animal shows on TV a female snake in the middle, dozens of males wrapped around her tightly.

Lola could see the girl already looked tired, even though the night has just begun and something resonated within her. “She's already climaxed… probably s..several times." She remembered parts of that recent night, in her trainer's room, where he'd just fucked her into a babbling mess before she'd passed out… and then fucked her some more, and how that had felt soooooo good!!! That… that was going to happen to the girl below her. That girl was going to going to get screwed senseless, and it wouldn't stop there. Her little bunny snatch really started to heat up, remembering what He'd done to her.

She looked directly beneath her and saw several half-dressed bar patrons staring back up at her, probably getting a perfect view right between her legs. The inside of the thighs forming a perfect V to guide their eyes straight to her pussy. From the looks on their faces, they weren't too sure what to make of what was above them. The looked at each other and looked back at her seeming to grin at her sense of confusion. She must look like a deer frozen in the headlights.

She knew what she had to do, but knowing and doing were too different things. Just like back in the bathroom when she was trying to act the slut, Lola found that she was having a hard doing bringing herself to do the thing everyone wanted her to do. Especially with at least six sets of eyes skeptical caressing everything from the pads on her feet to her inner thighs. She had gotten used to an adoring audience, either on the court or at her window, but here they were snickering at her. She'd never had to try and be sexy while someone made fun of her! She tried to shake her hips, to rotate them, roll them back and forth, but it looked more like a stutter, the stuff they were playing wasn't what she was used to dancing to! The smiles turned to sneers and Lola's ears sank knew she was bombing. Her big debut was falling flat on its face. She flushed red.

PLINK!

Something bounced off the bottom of the cage.

PLINK!

There it was again, and this time Lola thought she saw someone throw something. They were laughing now.

PLINK! PLINK!

Yep! Someone had started throwing cocktail peanuts at her and that really got them laughing. The bartender scolded the man, but it was too late, they all started doing it, having their sport with the caged animal.

PLINK PLINK PLINK!

Oh, they thought it was funny, laughing up a storm. She glowered at them. “Hey! Knock it off assholes!" she called down, but that only egged them on. It wasn't like she could walk away.

PLINK PLINK!

Then, her ears, those long delicate satiny tan ears of hers, caught something else- laughter from a different part of the room; a woman's laugh. She twisted her ears around, honing in. THERE. There by the stage, the big titted blonde bent over against it, was laughing hysterically at her. BRANDIE. Utter contempt dripped in those lilting southern toned chuckles, taking sadistic satisfaction from Lola's predicament. Her partner looked confused, still holding her hips slapping his balls wetly against her mound, until she pointed up at the beleaguered rabbit, and finally joined in on the joke. Either he enjoyed Lola's awkwardness or he was just trying to keep his partner happy. Either way, it didn't matter, Brandie was egging him on and she'd try and make as big a scene as she could. Anything to strike back at the little bitch who'd evicted her and scattered her possessions to the four winds.

Lola instantly forgot about the idiots at the bar, focusing directly on the buxom blonde, squaring her shoulders again her rival. She gritted her teeth, almost growling as she was mocked, hands and breasts pressed against the plexiglass of the cage. She'd seen this kind of mean girl before, the sorority princess that just ate up the misery and missteps of others, pointing them out for all her sycophants to mock.

“You shallow little empty headed bitch. I'm going to tear your hair out." Lola said under her breath.

…………..

“Ohhhh boy." The man signed again from what felt like the hundredth time today.

He knew better, but it felt as if the eyes of the entire control room were on him. Judging him. It wasn't true, there were probably only one set, but those were the only set that mattered to him. This night was important to him, a chance that didn't come all that often. He hadn't produced a start yet and Lola held a lot of promise. If she did well, his standing would improve. He'd put time and effort into her, and on her debut, it sounded like she was falling apart. He felt the weight of the walkie talkie in his pocket and resisted the urge to call Alan.

………………

“You do not get to do this." Lola said again, her hand balled into fists.

PLINK PLINK PLINKITY PLINK!

“She gets to because you're making an ass of yourself." Her mind said lazily. How could it be so calm right now? “You're making a fool of yourself and she's enjoying it. Stop making a fool of yourself."

“But there…."

“Start dancing." It repeated.

“You don…"

……………..

Yeap… he was probably going to have to pull her. It sounded like she was going into seizures.

…………….

“START DANCING. MOVE. YOUR. ASS. NOW." Her mind insisted.

Then something happened that probably saved the evening- they played a song she liked. The heavy piano of Ingrid Michaelson's Time Machine kicked in and it felt like a cavalry charge coming to save the day. The music built up, adding steel to her spine and finally… FINALLY, her hips started to loosen up. Slowly, she bounced on the balls of her toes as she felt the rhythm flow up her legs. Her tail twitched and she began to let go. She swung her hips out and pressed her arms across her chest, letting he front leg tap to beat before she turned in a half circle.

Thankfully Alan had done his job and the cage only swung a little as she began to move about. Her hips went out wider as she shook her rear, hands now grabbing the firm flesh of her ass, looking over her shoulder. Her blonde silky hair flipped about as she looked back and forth, whipping hear head around in circles, shoulders bobbing to the music. As the music hit a crescendo and she spread her legs open, bent over and slapped her hands down her inner thighs, bringing them up slowly as she stood up straight again until she was framing her pussy between her two hands. If this was the only way she could fight, then fuck them, she was still going to fight.

There was NO way she was going to fall flat on her face in front of Brandie.

Lola looked over at that bitch by the stage as she straightened up. Brandie wasn't laughing anymore. Oh she was trying but even from across the room, it looked fake. Lola squatted down, legs spread open and took a moment to look down between her legs at the bar idiots below her. The peanuts had stopped, and they were back to staring at her, unsure of what to do: throw more crap or see what happened next.

Plink!

Apparently, she wasn't out of the woods yet. But the people at the bar were pointing, looking excited, and that was a far nicer response than the sneering laughing crowd. Sure, there was some asshat throwing stuff at her but there was always an idiot in the crowd. What she saw was they REALLY liked it when she squatted down and spread her legs.

“It looks like sex. Dance for them like you want to fuck." Her mind said.

She stood up part way and, wiggled that little cotton tail around and then squatted down again, bounced deep and spread her legs, balancing on the balls of her feet and opening her knees wide. Bounce, close and open her legs. Bounce and spread those creamy thigh's open wide slowly. Her leg muscles were beginning to burn, complaining at this sudden change of events. She was built for sprinting, springing, not slow holds that make her start to shake.

“That's why Brandie had that exercise ball." She moaned to herself, realizing how important that thing was- Brandie never skipped leg day. Lola mentally berated herself for not taking advantage of it when the thing had been in her room, often pushing it out of the way. Oh yes, she was going to be really regretting this in a couple hours. She was going to hate her life when she woke up tomorrow. But that was tomorrow, and she hadn't finished fighting today.

That was the thing with her- Lola thrived on competition. With no structure, she never would have accomplished what all that she had, probably settling for a far less interesting life. But that wasn't her! Rivalry, challenges, goals… all of them pushed her father than she'd expected to go, made her reach for the brass ring every time, dipping deep in mental and physical reserves she didn't know she had. Here, in this room, everything had changed. It had gone from her floundering like a fish out of water, to a battle, and Lola embraced that conflict. She didn't think she could out-sex Brandie- that girl had way too much practice, but Lola knew how to play to a crowd. She knew how to get the stands full of people cheering for her. Ok, so she was sloppy when it came to being lewd, but she could make it up with enthusiasm. With fire.

Once again, the music saved her by picking up the momentum. Something from an 80's hair metal band that everyone still loved. Gratefully she stood back up, and slapped her thighs and then brought her hands up to a clap. Turn, slap the thighs, bring her hands up to a clap. Wash rinse and repeat to the chorus hook of the song. She stamped her feet down on the floor to the beet, the pads of her feet flattening against the transparent surface. It was high energy but it was giving her upper leg muscles time to recover.

………………………………………………

Chen was looking at a subset of data points around the bar that had started rising, eyes darting across his monitor.

“Interesting."

“hmmm?" Asked Gunther, turning distractedly away from the window. It was the first thing Chen had said since things got rolling.

“There's a lot of excitement at the bar." Chen responded, not looking away from the computer.

“And you can tell this how?" Gunther asked.

“The bracelets have small biometric trackers in them." Chen was referring to the small plastic wristbands that all the guests wore, the kind you'd see at a concert or a hospital. “And the ones at the bar are lighting up."

“The bar? They're not having sex at the bar."

“Yes, which makes it interesting." Chen's eyes shifted. “Also, over here. These started to elevate shortly after."

………………………………………………………

Lola was on a roll. It was dumb luck that the music had kept giving her winning hands. The Struts were belting out their hit Kiss This, and it put Lola directly in familiar territory. She was having to control her breathing now, mouth panting. Funny thing was, that when a naked woman opened her mouth breathily, it just looked sexy. She kept moving, turning, and had taken a sudden interest in her breasts, as if she'd just discovered how incredibly sexy they were! She cupped them, and let them slip out from under her hands, making them bounce about freely.

When she whipped her head around again, that's when she saw them. In the Playpen, the girls were looking out over the crowd. Well two of them were at least, the last one looked like she was going a line of coke on the table while the men around her clapped. But the other two, hugging together with big smiles were at the chrome rails, and pumping their fists when they finally saw Lola in the air as Lola strutted in her cage!

“Holy hell." She said, and almost stumbled when she realized what was happening. It was like realizing a major-league talent agent was rooting for you. It almost made her stop. Her legs stopped hurting, and endorphins flooded her body. This… was validation, coming from women who were just as smart and tough as her!

“Why me?" she breathed. Why were they rooting for her?

“Because they see you as potentially one of them… eventually? If you pass the tests. Talent recognizes talent. You're still free and not stuck to the floor like the girls below you."

She grunted and put on a big smile and blew them a kiss. The other two laughed and bobbed to the music. For the rest of the song, Lola danced for two people standing above a crowded room of mingling bodies, the trio's movements becoming more and more in synch before the music ended.

And the music really did end for a moment, and the lights dimmed. Panting openly now, Lola was grateful for the respite, but didn't really know what it all meant. It was way too early for this to be over.

That's when the stage lights turned on focusing on the center. The music picked up again as the back curtains parted and two lithe figures strutted out on stage. There were only two women on the island that had tails like that. Cyndi and Amber. The feline sisters.

The girls immediately commanded attention, walking in with that feline arrogance that dared you to look away. But it was far more than that, it was the way they moved. Everything was polished, precise and mirrored each other down to the flicking tails. Lola eyes went wide as she watched the women move, as it was almost surreal. How many hours, or hundreds of hours had these two practiced together until they became completely identical? There was rolling cheer that came up from the crowd as the visitors finally got over the shock of what they were seeing. Security braced themselves at the edges of the stage, pushing people back, and pulling down the few that tried to climb up.

Lola remembered back to when she'd first met them in that concrete room filled with used mattresses and the pictures of girls on the walls and felt a flush embarrassed. If she'd known the sisters were this talented, she would have far more respect. But she hadn't, and her first impression had probably been standoffish and bitchy. Her dancing looked like greasy kid stuff compared to what was unfolding on stage. She stopped, using this time to recover- nobody was looking at her now. Instead she looked on in envy as the girls separated, each walking up opposite horns of the stage, still in synch with each other, creating a singular event that riveted everyone's attention.

When the music came to an end, and crowd erupted in applause. Men pressed against the stage, cheering and waving what looked like fistfuls of money about. Amber and Cyndi stood near the bouncers, looking over the excited throng blowing kisses, until each girl chose someone in the audience. That person was escorted up on stage and taken back behind the curtain.

“Pay attention to that." Lola's brain said.

“Why?" she asked.

“Because those two get to say who they sleep with. Oh sure, they have to choose someone, but they still get to choose! Annnnnnnndddddddd there's a whole room of girls the guys could fuck for free, yet they're dying to pay."

It took her a moment to let that sink in. Other than the Stars, those girls were the only ones who could pick and choose who got into bed with them. In an island where women were trained to be sex workers, they could say no to people, that was amazing, especially since Lola remembered that her mouth had been “green lit". They were also in such demand that people were almost coming to blows, trying to get their attention.

“They're the Performers, right?" She asked.

“Yes." Came the male voice over her head set. She'd been talking to herself but He'd been listening and through she was asking him a question. Lola shivered as she had a sudden bout of self-consciousness, realizing he probably heard everything she'd been saying this entire time. She really needed to stop talking to herself, as crazy people weren't taken seriously.

“And the girls in the pink room are… Stars?" she asked into the headset. She'd seen them from the control room, but she wanted to make absolutely sure.

“Yes. Now you see all three stations in the same room, from the highest to the lowest."

And he wasn't joking about the lowest. The Cunt Girls, the ones writhing on the main floor, were certainly living up to their names. Lola scanned the room until she found the blonde that had caused her so much problem. Brandie wasn't laughing anymore. The daggers were back, and Brandie was machine gunning them straight at her. Lola made a big show of making an overly broad shrug, envisioning them bouncing harmlessly off her cage. Had Brandie seen her interaction with the Stars? Lola sincerely hoped so; she was going to rub that girl's face in it every chance she got. These little victories were adding up and Lola was getting cocky- she was getting her game back.

The lights came on, the music started up again, and Lola got back to work, her head was full of revelations. Lola had seen the power sex truly had over people. Even here, where women were being treated as a commodity, a select few still partially held the reins of power in their hands. It was a different kind of power, but it was still power- the ability to make people want you, and work hard, even sacrifice or compete, to get you. If Lola could do that, she wouldn't be something that was just handed out like a door prize, she would have to be earned, and t that was a huge step up from where she was right now. Her daily masturbation for the camera, was that a punishment or did he just want a free view. Was her trainer actively waiting for her to turn on the camera, impatiently pressing the refresh button? Did she have that kind of power over him? Next time she pointed that little round camera between her legs, she was going to find out.

Yes, indeed, after today her eyes were open, and more importantly, the ladder up was finally visible. There was something to achieve and Lola liked to achieve, to win and be the best. She also knew that she was already being ushered onto the system when she was “green lit"- it was already happening and it was up to her if she was going to get stuck on the bottom rung while they found someone new that tickled their fancy; someone with more ambition than her. She had to perform or she was going to be just another girl on that increasingly sticky floor below her.

So, she took a deep breath, got her head in the game, and began to dance.

Chapter 54

Lola was almost floating as she walked back to her room. Her ears were ringing from the evening, and she could hardly hear anything, but she was grinning like mad. She'd rocked the rest of the evening! No more peanuts from drunk idiots, and once someone got Brandy's head in their lap, no more eye daggers. She'd gotten herself back on the court and made the crowd cheer. Most of the girls couldn't, they were ragged wet messes by the end of the evening, having to pour themselves into seats or just lay in wet puddles passed out. Getting that spunk out of their hair must be murder, but that's what happened you were on the bottom of the ladder and couldn't be bothered to get out; you pulled other people's cum out of your hair.

She was sore, and her legs were going to be screaming when she woke up, but she didn't care. She had won, and she knew that because they'd let her walk back to her room all by herself. She couldn't even feel chill of the concrete under the sore pads of her feet. Tomorrow was another day, tonight, she'd sleep the sleep the victorious.

When opened the door to her room, she almost missed the card on her bed. It was a simple piece of cardstock, folded in half. Inside, was written in pen, “Congratulations on your promotion!'

Lola read it again and checked the back in the half light of the moon coming through her wall sized window. Nothing else was there. She grinned and pumped her fist in self-congratulatory excitement and let you a little laugh. “YES!" She'd did it!!

Wait.

Promoted to what?
