The sequel to Malicious Software Detected and Running Antivirus Response, Stormy has laid claim to the city node and taken down the military that was used to defend it, but as another threat looms on the horizon Stormy prepares herself to spread her influence further, both inside and outside the network she has corrupted.

It had been a week since the takeover of the city hub after the military's spectacular failure not only to try and put down the threat now known as the Stormy Virus, but also lost another potentially dangerous creature at the same time. With no other way to contain it the providers of the virtual world made the difficult decision to cut power completely to that part of the grid, plunging the entire city network into darkness. Without anything feeding it the virtual world had been completely shut down, no one was able to log on, make transactions, or even do anything with their phones as any and all measures were taken to try and block the potentially hazardous signal from escaping...

...a quarantine that lasted all of a few hours. Though the connections to the outside world were still completely severed, people who remained inside the city, which was most of them considering how hard it would be for most to move, found that suddenly they were able to connect to the virtual world once again. While most of their own personal digital spaces remained intact the city hub was an entirely different story. Infrastructure that had been set up by the city now laid in ruins, the once tall and proud skyscrapers had been completely cut in half, and those that ventured too far into the destroyed area met avatars with glowing blue eyes that were often larger than most or otherwise oversized.

For the kaiju that reshaped it in the first place; however, the whole area was a paradise. The wolfess grinned to herself as she relaxed in a partially ruined stadium that she had converted into a hot tub for her own amusement. Smashing buildings was a fun but exhausting activity, and even giant monster wolves needed some time to rest and recharge. At this point she was just thankful that the world was once more stable; it had taken a lot of power as well as the abilities she absorbed from the technomancer in order to make this area accessible to the public once again.

As she thought of such a thing she looked over to where the sabrewolf sat cross-legged on a large expanse of land that they had destroyed earlier, his eyes glowing as he manifested the assets they had absorbed into the creation of a new structure. While the wolfess was far more focused on wreaking havoc and destruction on the virtual world the technomancer seemed to also enjoying building things, which was just fine for her as a grin appeared on her muzzle. That meant more stuff for her to destroy later, or places for their loyal subjects to go as she watched the avatars that she had corrupted go about their business around her massive form. Though their focus was on the worship of their goddess they still continued to go about their daily lives as instructed, though while in the VR there were many that came to lap praise onto her.

One in particular was a male Siberian tiger with glowing blue stripes that climbed through the fur of her chest in order to get her attention. Stormy recognized him immediately as a modder, one of those who had spent their lives finding ways to alter the virtual world in order to suit their own tastes... though for those that she assimilated it was now to suit hers as the giant wolfess leaned up so that she could look at the one crawling on her.

"Goddess, I have wonderful news!" he shouted. "We found a way to continue to alter your physical form outside of the virtual world!"

That piece of news caused Stormy to sit up immediately and nearly flung the avatar off of her before she picked him up and brought him to eye level. Though her body had already been altered in the real world by the corruption of her data in the virtual one it had stagnated somewhat, her last boost coming when she and the technomancer merged their malicious code to gain one another's powers. Though her kaiju avatar was already monstrous in nature to the point where only the largest skyscrapers dwarfed her, which never lasted very long after she put her fist or tail through them, her real life form wasn't a good reflection of that. Though she knew she would never reach the same limits that she had in the virtual world she wanted people to know who the alpha predator was in this area, especially after her victory over the military.

"With the schematics from the technomancer and your own wonderful coding we managed to secure a portal that will allow you to leave this cityscape and enter into a nearby hub," the tiger explained as Stormy's ears twitched. "While this area was great for you to take over it was a public hub full of commercial retailers, and unfortunately a lot of them diverted their resources out of this area after it fell. If we can breach into this private hub then you'll be able to not only grow your powers here, but in the real world as well!"

"But what of the data transfer," the wolfess kaiju's voice rumbled. "The whole reason that Serathin and I have to stay here is because even our compression programs can't squeeze us down well enough to breach into another world."

"Well we can actually thank the military for this one," the tiger replied. "Thanks to the continued intelligence being gathered from Frost we know that they left access to one of their T10 lines here in the city when you took over their outpost. All we have to do is physically connect one line to this city hub and the other end to the private server and all those advanced assets are going to be ours."

Stormy snorted slightly, which nearly blew the tiger avatar off of her hand. "The T10 line you're talking about is buried under several feet of concrete and dirt, there's a reason why it's a direct pipeline between government buildings, because no one else can get connected to it. Do you really expect me to spend years having drones dig it up just so I can access one server? Even if it is rich in modder assets they're going to see this plan coming from a mile away."

"You did say you wanted to be more like yourself in the real world, right?" the tiger asked, Stormy nodding in reply. "I've had another friend of mine making just the mod for you, which he said is ready to go. Unfortunately, though, he isn't one of your worshippers and he works off the main net, so you're going to have to visit him in the real world, though he is interested in what you have to offer. I can give you his address and you can go and get it yourself..."

"No need," Stormy replied with an evil grin as he lifted her hand up and tilted her head back. "It's faster this way."

The wolfess could hear the avatar shouting thank you as she dropped him into her massive maw, his avatar and related code dissolving as it wiggled down her throat. With it she got the information she needed from the avatar and walked over to the technomancer who continued to work on the skyscraper he was straddling. "I've got a lead on getting us out of here," Stormy informed the sabrewolf. "If all goes to plan you're going to have a lot more toys to play with."

"Sounds like a lot of fun," Serathin replied. "Need any help?"

"I think I can get this by myself," Stormy reassured before their muzzles met in a kiss, the saberteeth she had gained from assimilating the technomancer's power rubbing against his before they broke away.

"I have one thing to give you before you go," the sabrewolf said as he pressed a hand against her chest, her eyes glowing brightly for a second as a new package of information was introduced into her avatar. "It's something that I've been working on for a while that I think you're going to enjoy. Now go ahead and scratch this skyscraper, but try not to knock it over since I am trying to demonstrate something here."

Stormy didn't have to be told twice as she took her sickle claws and sliced them into the side of the building. The satisfying sound of metal crunching and windows shattering echoed in the air as she dug four deep furrows into the side of the structure. Though she knew she could go deeper she wanted to see what the sabrewolf wanted to show her, though as they continued to stand there he just stood there with a bemused smirk on his face and his arms crossed. The wolfess just looked in confusion as they continued to stare at the damaged building before she realized exactly what was happening that caused her eyes to widen slightly.

The building wasn't repairing itself.

Most of the time unless Stormy actively corrupted the asset, if something malicious destroyed something like a building or large tree the virtual world would work to set it to the point before the damage occurred. This still happened in the city hub they had taken over, but as she continued to watch it looked like the metal and glass that was cracking and falling away like the festering of an open wound. "Your avatar now disables the auto-healing on anything that it happens to come in contact with." Serathin boasted. "You smash a tree or a car or tear down a building, the passive corruption in the code you leave behind when you make contact with an asset will actually continue to eat away at it."

"Yeah!" Stormy roared before wrapping the other kaiju in a hug. "This is perfect, I can't wait to use it! Can I destroy the building now?"

Serathin chuckled and nodded, standing aside before the wolfess brought up a huge, heavy-taloned paw and kicked the base of the structure. The building immediately buckled and began to crash to the ground, though that didn't stop the kaiju from giving it one good punch as it crashed to the ground. The two could hear cheers coming from the streets as those avatars that she had corrupted celebrated the destruction that their goddess caused. With her need to destroy temporarily satisfied she gave one last nuzzle to the technomancer, which caused the crowd to go aww before she stomped down and shook them all to the ground, and then disconnected herself...

*************************

When Stormy's eyes opened once again the bright blue, glowing irises looked around at her bedroom, which had grown considerably. When she had seized control of the city and drove the military out she was free to be more open with how she interacted with her drones, to the point of just moving into one of the larger houses that one of her worshippers had for sale as a realtor. She had made sure to compensate them handsomely as she stood up and stretched, not only was it a home befitting someone of her stature, it was also literally befitting her stature as her size had pretty much forced her out of her old apartment.

Even as she got up from her bed and left to go into the kitchen she had to make sure to duck or scrape her horns against the tops of the doorframes. As she moved down the hallway she happened to look in and see the draconic sabrewolf in another of the bedrooms still lying there, the significantly smaller male twitching as he no doubt had his fun while in her absence on the city hub. Of course if everything went to plan she would be having some fun of her own, grinning to herself as her tongue wrapped around the saberteeth that had also transferred onto her physical form. The wolfess quickly ate something while she was out in the real world, her eleven foot frame still needing calories, before she began to walk towards the part of the city where the modder was.

As she began to walk down the city streets, which was her only choice as most modes of transportation were hard for her to get onto, she began to notice something that caused her to pause. While she was greeted with the familiar grins and nods of her worshippers she also noticed a number of those with animosity towards her. At this point she stood head and shoulders above even the tallest dragon or bull and her avatar was easy to recognize... while she was a savior to those she assimilated she hadn't realized just how many in the city thought of her as a pariah. Even with her impressive stature she knew that her safety might be a risk, of course that could be easily rectified as she did a quick mental scan of the grid and found what she was looking for.

A few minutes later she entered into a virtual arcade, a small pocket dimension that could only be accessed through this one port. Though she had on her neoprene suit, which stretched tight against her features with every growth spurt, she still couldn't access the virtual world on a whim like the technomancer could. Of course for her plans she didn't need to get to the city hub, all she needed were a few avatars that were currently in use as she made her way to the counter where a bored husky sat there and flipped through a magazine on his tablet.

"So what game would you like to play?" When Stormy said nothing he looked up to ask again only to have his jaw drop at what he saw. "Oh my god, it's you, you're the one that took over the city hub! Stormy!"

"You are correct," Stormy replied as she leaned in, towering over the canine who shrank down in his seat from her impressive presence. "It is because of that popularity that I need some help if I'm going to be traveling through the city. Now tell me, how many do you currently have connected here in your little business?"

"Uh..." the husky said before he swallowed hard. "There's a group of three playing a co-op game, that's about it for right now. Ever since the central hub opened most people have been going there even though a... uh... even though you were stomping around in it."

"Excellent," Stormy replied. "With you that makes four, now why don't you go suit up and meet me where the others are currently in?"

Meanwhile in the virtual world that was connected to one of the rooms in the store a battle raged as three avatars in armor continued to slice through the scourge of monsters that assaulted their castle. "I'm going to need some healing here pretty soon!" a muscular male cheetah in heavy armor said as he successfully parried the blow of several hellspawn before moving on to the next creatures. "Two more arrow volleys and I'm dead!"

"Don't you have your potions equipped?!" a male equine in robes said as he cast a spell that evaporated several hellhounds that had attempted to rush the gates.

"I ran out two waves ago!" the cheetah replied as he took a sword to his shoulder, his health bar lowering close to the end as he turned and slashed. "I'm running on fumes here!"

Just as two hulking creatures were about to crash their axes down on the distracted feline two arrows were suddenly embedded in their forehead that came from the lioness on one of the towers above them. "Told you that you should have upgraded your sword instead of buying those strength enhancers," she said with a smirk as she continued to fire. "Just because you wanted to be a big bulky cheetah doesn't mean you should sacrifice your bonus stats."

The cheetah just rolled his eyes and continued to hack and slash away at the monsters, except as he arched back to do a particularly devastating slash to a larger enemy he disappeared, along with all the others as the other two players looked around in confusion. As they all came back to the start point of the game they were suddenly greeted with the presence of a husky. "What the hell, Phil?" the cheetah said as he took his helmet and slammed it to the ground. "We still had forty minutes of playtime and I was just about to hit a new record with my warrior!"

When the canine said nothing the others once more looked at one another in confusion and asked Phil if he was alright. The husky shook his head but before he could say anything another avatar suddenly materialized at the start, this one causing everyone to take a step back. "Dear god..." the horse mage said as they all backed away. "It's the Stormy Virus."

"Just Stormy is fine," the wolfess said with a grin. "Now if you'll give me your attention I'll be sure to make this quick as I have a modder I need to meet."

"But... how?" the lioness said as she pulled her head back. "You aren't supposed to be able to hop from server to server, as long as we don't interact in the city hub with all those brainwashed followers of yours we're supposed to be fine. Even if you could this is just a game, there's no way your avatar could transfer here."

"Well aren't you a smart one," Stormy said as she waved her hand in the air, a screen appearing that appeared to be a surveillance camera that showed a husky, a skinny cheetah, a male mouse, and a male lion all standing there in the middle of the room with their neoprene suits on and helmets that had them connected to this virtual world. Also standing there was Stormy herself, waving to the camera before the avatar of her turned towards them. "You're absolutely right that I can't have my avatar in this world, the size alone would cause it to collapse, but thanks to my new friend I'm able to project into such places and exude a... limited amount of influence on the avatars within."

"You mean brainwash us," the equine sneered as he clenched his fist, the mouse in the real world doing the same as the screen remained for them to see. "I've seen your work before, Stormy, or should I say goddess? Whatever it is you're offering, we don't want it."

"It's too bad that you aren't as smart as your friend," Stormy replied before she began to look around, then turned back to the husky. "Just what is this game anyway?"

"It's... uh..." the husky said as he suddenly felt Stormy's hand on his shoulder. "A demonic plague causes an army of creatures to rise up and spread chaos through the world. The heroes you see in front of you are part of an elite band that are attempting to push back the horde. It's a very high fantasy sword and sorcery role playing game."

Stormy grinned as he eyes flashed, searching through the directory of assets on the game before she found the one that she wanted. "Quite the interesting premise," she said as she found the one she wanted and selected it. "From what I see these creatures you've been fighting were once innocent anthros corrupted by this plague, so if someone affected would be captured by one like this..." her hand, which had turned from its furred nature into a red-skinned monstrosity like one of the demons in the game, clamped down on the husky's head which caused his jaw to drop and his eyes to roll back into his head. "...that would be a bad thing, right?"

The others shouted for Stormy to stop what she was doing but already her corruptive code, modified with assets from the game, began to pour into the avatar of the husky as his muscles began to swell. His eye teeth began to form into sharp tusks as his entire body shook from the transformation, and when the players looked at the viewscreen that was still on they saw the changes were not just in the virtual world. The neoprene suit of the real canine stretched around his growing frame as spikes began to appear, along with a pair of horns that poked their way out of the helmet as Phil's body grew more monstrous by the second. When she was finished the short husky shopkeeper that the three had known was now a nine-foot tall demonic parody of himself, complete with red eyes, clawed hands, and a muzzle filled with razor-sharp teeth framing a long tongue that waggled in the air.

"You... you're a monster," the cheetah said.

"Well now so is Phil here," Stormy replied with her arms crossed. "Now I'm going to modify my deal and give you one chance to answer. Will you accept my offer and join your friend here in serving me how I see fit... Or will poor Phil here be the next one that you have to fight, which I'm sure will have no consequence in the real world?"

Though the players were ready for a fight, even it was just in the virtual world, the last sentence that the wolfess said is what caused them to pause. As they looked at Phil the demonic husky looked at them with hunger in his eyes, which they wondered if it was from the one that corrupted him or from the programming of the game. Either way it was doubtful that the former canine would listen to them here, and even if they did get back into the real world then they still had a twelve foot monster wolf and a similarly transformed husky when they got back. While the three continued to argue it over Stormy began to lose patience and demanded an answer from the three.

"Alright, we'll do it on one condition," the cheetah said as he held out his sword. "You revert Phil back from the mindless monster that you turned him into and promise that you won't do the same to us and we'll accept."

"I think that's more than fair," Stormy replied as she snapped her fingers and Phil stood upright, blinking his red reptilian eyes as they turned a bright blue while he stood up straight and looked around in confusion. Though the wolfess was still on guard for a potential double-cross she watched as the cheetah tossed his sword on the ground in front of her, the lioness doing the same with her bow and the equine with his staff. It was good enough for Stormy to follow through with the next part of her plan as she walked over to the cheetah first.

While the three had been arguing she had looked over their customer files and saw that all of them had sunk hundreds of hours into this game, both at the arcade and in the virtual hub. Though normally she would just consume or corrupt their avatars she didn't have her usual powers here in this interface, plus she needed to focus on their physical bodies that she wanted to change, powers that she inherited from the technomancer. Nevertheless she was sure she could make it work using the love of this game as she brought up her hand to examine the cheetah. Though the male continued to remain stoic it was clear that he was afraid of what was going to happen next as his real world body could be seen shaking.

"Tell me," Stormy said as she continued to examine the lore of the game. "How are demonitaurs created?"

"Demonitaurs?" the cheetah repeated, Stormy nodding as she put her hands behind her back. "They were created with the berserker potion that the barbarians of the northern tribes used to hold back the demon scourge was tainted with a mutated variant of the demon plague known as Bull Fever. Turned all the humans into demonic minotaurs and the anthros into hulking versions of themselves... oh wait... you're not going to..."

"No..." Stormy said as she held out her hand once again, this time with a vial of glowing blue liquid in it. "You're going to do it to yourself. Don't worry, though, as promised you'll still have your mind, and isn't there a special class that utilizes this to become the greatest warriors in the land?"

The warrior character frowned as he looked at the magical item in his hand. While the wolfess had been accurate in her description of the item and what would happen, he knew what the repercussions of becoming such a creature would be. Still... if he didn't then she would likely revert their friend back to his monstrous state and likely still change them in the end. He sighed and drank down the potion, feeling the malicious code that it represented seep into his avatar.

The next one that Stormy went up to was the lioness, who swallowed hard as the wolfess towered above her. "So now we have the rogue," she said as she put a finger under her chin. "Always one to attack from the shadows, blending in and firing your arrows. From the look of it you also have quite a different preference here from the real world, don't you?"

Despite the frightening situation the lioness avatar felt herself blush, especially when she looked up and saw the neoprene-covered male lion that was her real life body. Before she could respond; however, she saw the cheetah in the screen begin to shake slightly, and as both she and the equine looked over red lines had begun to appear on the feline's avatar. His breathing deepened and he hunched over slightly as his armor cracked, the corrupted code reforming into black and red metal with spikes as his already muscular avatar began to grow. A golden ring formed in the cheetah's nose as his muzzle began to warp, taking on more of a bovine appearance as horns pushed out of the metal on his helmet.

There was a snapping of fingers and the lioness looked back to see Stormy holding a black flame in front of her. "Don't worry, you'll be coming along soon enough," the wolfess said with a smirk as she held out the shadowfire in front of her. "As you know the shadow creatures that you fight in this game were created by the black fires of... um... well, it's not important what the exact name is. Point is, let this fire burn inside you and I'll make sure that you get everything you want."

As the lioness stared into the flickering darkness the equine had gone over to his transforming friend, though now the cheetah warrior was far bigger than him as more of his armor cracked away to reveal more muscle under spotted fur. Though the changes weren't as pronounced they could see their friend changing in the real world as well, his neoprene suit stretching as everything on him grew bigger, including the bulge in the front of his suit. When the equine realized that he was staring he shook his head, but before he could look away he saw the lion begin to shudder on the screen as well. Looking over to his side he watched as the feminine feline avatar took the flame into herself, black tendrils streaking out over her fur as she let out a gasp.

With two of his friends transforming, both their avatars their real bodies, that just left the stallion mage who looked at his real life mouse body before turning back to the wolfess. To his left his cheetah friend let out a bellowing roar as he stretched his new body, horns glistening in the light as his bright red eyes glowed. On his right the lioness avatar he had played many games with also swelled with corrupted muscle as her fur grew longer and turned black while she breathed out a shadowy miasma. Behind Stormy Phil continued to look at his new demonic form before looking at the cheetah and the two began to get into a wrestling match.

"What to do with you..." she said as she looked the equine over. "You wanted a handsome, powerful body, but at the same time you maintained being a mage, which is usually reserved for those more intellectually inclined. You wouldn't happen to know of any monsters in this game that would match that description as well, would you?"

The equine avatar swallowed hard before responding, a slight quiver in his voice. "There are demonic naga sorcerers that are like that," he said after getting it some thought. "Like the demonitaurs they were powerful spellcasters that were converted into them after a corruptor snake... consumed... them..." his eyes went wide as Stormy's grin grew wider as her muzzle began to expand, pushing out into a serpentine form as her already tall body grew longer while shiny red scales replaced her fur. "Wait, no!"

Stormy just chuckled as the equine mage tried to run, only to be wrapped up in shadowy binds around his legs that caused him to fall over. The shadow lioness avatar nodded to Stormy as her muscular form flickered with dark fire that seemed to consume her as her transformation completed. When the wolfess looked back into the screen of the real world she saw that the lion had undergone some changes as well, growing almost as tall as her other feline counterpart, but most noticeably were the sizable breasts that now stretched her neoprene suit and the lack of bulge between her thicker legs. That just left one avatar to go, Stormy slithering up to the bound equine as her legs merged into a snake body in one fluid motion that didn't even hinder her movement.

The horse continued to shout but with his legs bound it only made it easier for the huge naga that was now Stormy to pick him up and shove his feet into her maw. The equine mage continue to wiggle in the transformed creature's maw, but that just made it all the better for Stormy as her powerful muscles drew the stallion's body into her. While it was nothing like when she consumed other avatars with her own form she could feel her code seep into him, changing him at a fundamental level. As the corruption crept up his body she could see scales beginning to form on his face already as his gasps of panic turned into moans of pleasure. She didn't even have to see the screen to know that his real life body was following suit, scales growing underneath the neoprene as the mousey body exploded with growth as well as shifting into a strange but still oddly handsome mix of equine and serpentine features.

As her scaly lips stretched around his shoulders the equine avatar managed to bend his head up to look straight at her, thanking her before her maw closed around his neck and then eventually his head. His muzzle was the last to be seen before she slurped it in, letting the corrupted game code she had hijacked continue to change the stallion's avatar before she reverted back, herself. While she did she looked at the screen of the real life shop and smiled when she saw her newest projects come to fruition. With that done it was time to continue her mission, only now with a little more style than before...
