Other World Chapter 7
#7 of Other World
Shan waited until night fell before he left Serena's place and headed back home to grab few things before he headed out into the night. He didn't transform back figuring that using this side of him would make for perfect cover. He slipped on a black shirt and jeans, making sure that he would blend in completely with his surroundings in the night. If he had heard right, the leader of the Gemini would be going out to see the night life within the city, which means he may hit up a couple of the various clubs which would give him a better possibility to strike unnoticed. Grabbing one of his smaller daggers, he holstered it under his shirt to keep it from being seen and made his way out the door.
The night air was much colder than he would have thought as he began to jump from roof top to roof top. Stopping somewhere near where the majority of the clubs were, he began to feel around where they might be, but it wouldn't take long before he noticed a small crowd of people were standing around an entrance, giving off a lot of commotion. Jumping to a building that was much closer, he noticed that it was one of the darker clubs, one that was usually where people didn't want to get noticed.
Jumping down from the building, Shan made his way towards the entrance and began to make his way inside but was stopped by a rather large looking Bear. "Where do you think you're going?" a deep voice spoke followed by a massive arm blocking his way.
Shan didn't look up as he spoke. "Inside, is that a problem."
"Yeah, yeah it is, so I think you had better...." the large bear stopped speaking as he looked to Shan who was now looking in his direction with an intent to kill. "N..n..never mind, go on ahead" the bear managed to stutter out.
Nodding, Shan moved his way inside the bar and began to look around before moving forward. The music that was playing was a bit dark an eminent, but had a really nice beat to it. Looking around more, he began to walk along the walls, keeping to the darkness of the place as much as he could from all the lights flashing everywhere. Moving to a dark corner of the place, he noticed there was a tighter security in this area and figured this was where is target was and continue to move around. "So you think we can pull this off?" a voice spoke nearby.
Stopping Shan looked to a nearby table and noticed that his target was there, but he was not alone. There was another figure that was with him, but he couldn't tell who or what this person was as they were covered in a cloak. "Yes, we can, but there is a matter of a certain person that is here that must be dealt with first, and I think you know who it is I am speaking of." the voice stated in a low tone.
"You mean Shanaka, the Dragonian who destroyed my original home all those years ago? But how are we supposed to find him?" the Gemini male spoke.
"That will be easy, once I reveal myself as to who I really am, there is no doubt in my mind that he will come to me, and once I have him, we will make the final blow and end him once and for all." the voice said with a dark laughter.
Shan could feel his anger fill up inside of him as he continued to listen in. He began to move forward and reach for his dagger when he was approached by a female Dragon in a halter top and mini skirt. "Hey there good looking, waiting for anyone in particular or do you need some company?" she stated in a sexy voice and ran her finger down his chest.
Shan looked to her and shook his head "No thanks, I'm alright" he stated quickly.
"Come on, don't be like that, I can make it worth your while, she said as she pressed her breasts up against him.
"Look, I'm flattered but..." as he looked up, he noticed that the two were no longer at the table. Letting off a growl, he pushed the female aside, hearing a "fuck you" from behind him as he began to look around. Stopping his movement, he began to feel a rather strong energy spike coming from outside. Teleporting outside and on top of the building, he began to walk around trying to sense out where the energy was coming from.
"Looking for someone?" came a voice from behind him.
Shan turned around and noticed the two figures were standing there. "So, you've come here just for me I understand, I'm flattered" Shan said with a grin as he reached back and pulled out the dagger he had been hiding. "And you've made it easier for me to find you" he said as he began to step forward.
"I wouldn't think about killing me right now, you see, I have someone with me, that is just DIEING to meet you" he said as the male looked to the cloaked figure.
Shan looked at the figure and stood his ground, watching as the figure began to remove his cloak. His eye's widened as he looked to the figure. The male looked just like him in his Dragonian form. He was about Shans height, but his build was much bulkier in his muscle tone, and his hair as short, brown and spiked back. His eyes were a bright green, but they had a dark and ominous look to them as well. "Eric...but how did you find me?" he asked in a worried tone. Eric was Shan's twin brother and one of the only few people who were ever able to match him properly in a fight and one of the last Dragonians to ever exist.
Eric grinned and let off a dark laugh "It was easy really, you have the Vorpal blade am I correct? I came here looking for it and once I found out it was gone, I knew you were hear as well. I called upon my Gemini friends to arrive here, that way not only could I get to kill you, but so that they could exact there revenge on you for taking out there home."
Anger began to swell in Shan's chest as he stared at them, his teeth baring. "So you brought them here to an innocent planet where there will be several casualties in a revenge fight? I didn't think you would stoop so low" he said clenching his fists.
Eric let off a laugh "You think that I give a shit about the people here? I've slaughtered people for less reasons than just to hunt you down big brother, I've killed just because I felt like killing and this planet will be no exception." he said as he turned and closed his eyes. "You hear that? That is the sound of death, the screaming, the agony, the torture, it is a beautiful sound indeed" he said as he looked to Shan with a darker grin.
Shan began to hear gun fire beneath him along with people beginning to scream. Looking to Eric, he bared his teeth even more, his fist clenching so hard that the nails began to penetrate his hand. "You bastard, I'm going to kill you" he said in a low tone.
"Eric stepped forward and placed a hand against his ear. "Huh? What was that?" he asked in a snarky tone.
The area around them began to shake rapidly, debris beginning to rise up from the ground as a sudden blast of energy exploded from where Shan was standing. "I'M GOING TO FUCKING KILL YOU!" Shan erupted and rushed forward. Eric hadn't even noticed the dagger that had whizzed by him and had lodged into the Gemini males chest who was now on the ground.
Eric laughed and looked to Shan "Yes...that's it brother...come at me...let us finish this, and bring death to...." He was suddenly cut off as he felt something strike his gut. Blood spewed from his mouth as he flew back into a large metal vent shaft sticking up out of the building and became lodged into it.
Shan didn't even give a chance to react as he slammed his fist into Eric and sent him flying. Moving with great speed, he moved upon Eric once more and continued to slam his fist into his chest until the metal shaft gave out and snapped, sending Eric rolling onto the building top. Stepping forward, Shan began to reach back for one of his swords but was stopped as a blast of energy hit him in the face and knocked him back some. Shan looked up as he noticed Eric was now standing but in a Dragon form as well. His scales were a bright blue and his eyes were a bright Yellow color, his look was no different than Shan's in this form either.
Eric grinned and looked to Shan reaching back and grabbing a blade off of his back. This sword was identical to the other two that Shan was carrying, but this blade was blue in color. "So, you've found the Masamune of Water, seems you've saved me the trouble of looking for it." Shan said as he removed the two blades off of his back that had instantly appeared.
"Oh Shanaka, you really think that I would just give these blades up so easily?" Eric said as he reached back with his other hand and pulled off another blade that was similar to the others, this blade a bright yellow color. "I found both of the Lightning and Water Blades in this same spot, it seems that the two pair well together hen used properly." he said with a grin. "And trust me, I intend to rip the others from your dead hands" he hollered as he rushed forward.
