So here it is, the 18 bijjilionth remake of this is story. Hope you like it ^_^

I sat alone, a cool breeze blowing over my wings. I kept my ears flat and I had my hood flipped up. I was leaning up against a tree, the rough texture was making my back scratchy, I shifted myself to more comfortable position. I grabbed a small round rock that was by my leg and I started grinding down my finger nails. I looked up again and started to hum, The sky was filled with beautiful colours while the sun slowly set on the uninhabitable pieces of what was left of this shattered earth, the clouds were a dark purple and orange and the breeze was cold. I tried to let my mind wander but I felt so alien lately, I would usually sit alone away from my sister and my thoughts would wander. But for the last 3 months after my dad was murdered and my mom left I couldn't keep my thought away from Luna I would think about the house and the fact I was one of the only wolves left that head wings. The thought of trying to maintain the farm and garden, The trips to what was left of Vancouver for food,water and fuel for Reese's airship all returned. My eyes drifter over to His piece of floating earth and I saw Jennifer cooking dinner, she a was a small horse. No taller then five feet, with a cold grey fur with a large white spot on her eye. She smiled when Reese her husband walked up behind her. I felt a cold breeze blow through my hood and I shivered, I broke my gaze and stood up. My back felt tight, I raised my arms and bent back slightly. The tension passed and I placed a hand on the tree I was leaning against, I looked at my hobby sized farm. The sudden thought of raising my 13 year old sister, maintaining my farm and saving for an airship all hit me. I am only 14, I wasn't ready for this. I wasn't ready to be a dad, the thoughts of my mom killing my father were already dragging me down. My heart started to race, I took a deep breath, my eyes became heavy and my knees started to shake. I leaned against the tree and caught my breath, I started walking back to my small stone house, It had copper gutters and wood trim. The windows shutters were red and slatted. The roof was a 'V' shape and stretched all the way to the ground. There was a large green water tower on the left side of the house and a small green house at the front of the house covering a small personal vegetable garden. I looked forward again and I felt my feet hit the hard stone path leading to the small cut out for the large wooden door. I dragged my hand across the stone, my fingers bounced up and down on the cold rock surface. I Turned a corner and the stone wall turned in to a heavily slanted shingle roof. It was only a couple of steps to the front door, I placed my hand on the cold brass handle. I opened the door and found myself in a wood covered room, there were to benches on either side of the area. I sat down on the left side and started to undo my shoe laces. I undid the right lace with no trouble and placed the shoe under then bench, I then started on the left shoe. I pulled one of the laces and it became a tight unworkable knot, I used on of my now ground down fingernails to tried and pull the knot apart. The knot only became tighter and I just pulled the shoe off, I lobbed it under then bench and hung up my jacket. I opened the door to the living room, I saw Luna lying on the sofa reading a book. Her white fur was shining in the sun, she had a small black patch of fur over her right eye. I smiled when I caught a look of serenity on her face, I hadn't seen her like this since dad was killed. I looked at her leather collar that she got for her 13 birthday, she would never take it off she would shower and sleep with it. It was her only link to dad now. I felt bad for her, she was so close to him and for the last couple of months before he died, he would let mom lam Luna violently. He would sit in watch in a state of dismay. Not an expression of interest would graze his face. He would just watch. I shook the thought of that and closed the door behind me. She looked over at me and a large grin washed over her face. Her over sized ears perked up and she placed her book on the coffee table.
"You're in a good mood" I said happily
"I am" She stood up and looked up at me, she was wearing a pair of cargo pants and a tank top, her bushy tail was waging. I looked down at her feet and up again, I never noticed how curvy she was, she seemed to be getting more mature every time I looked at her. "Damn you're tall" she laughed, I broke my gaze.
"Yes, we've been over this Luna"
"Hey I still can't get over you're seven feet"
I laughed "Well you're like... I don't know five foot two?"
"Five foot even" She smiled
"So you're crazy short" I smirked
"Oh shuddup" She punched me in the hip
I laughed and scratched the fur between her ears. I walked over to the kitchen on the right side of the room, the floor were covered in a heavy red carpet, my paws would sink in with every step. The think strands would wrap around my toes and every time I lift up my paws it would unwind and wrap around again when I put my foot down. When I step in to the kitchen my feet became cold, I shivered and took a deep breath. I walked over to the tall white fridge and opened it, I grabbed a small plastic container and peeked inside, steak, I threw it on the counter and grabbed a bag of tortillas and stood up. I Walked over to the counter and pulled a tortilla out of the bag, Luna walked over and sat down a one of the metal bar stools. She looked at my food and back at me, she grinned, I rolled my eyes.
"Would you like one?"
She giggled "Mhm"
I looked down at the bag again and grabbed another tortilla, I grabbed a plate form the cupboard above my head and placed the steak on it. I threw in the micro wave for a minute. I looked back at Luna
"Have you thought about dad lately?"
She sighed "Yea... And mom."
I walked around the counter and sat down beside her and wrapped an arm around her shoulders. "You okay?"
"Yea, just thinking again," she paused "I wish I never had to see that."
"we both do Luna... We both do." I exhaled, the microwave beep. I looked up at it, I stood up and walked over to it and pulled the plate out of it and placed on the counter behind me. I wrapped up the steak and hander Luna a wrap.
I grabbed Luna's plate after she was done eating, I walked over to the kitchen and placed the plates in the sink. I looked back at her, she was resting her head in her right hand. She blinked.
"Maru?"
"Yea?"
"What day is it?" she sighed
"Sunday, why so?"
She sigh "Fuck. I don't want to go to school"
I laughed "It's an Internet course"
" I still don't want to do it." she smiled
"Fair enough. But. You still have to go and I am not arguing"
"Fine" she frowned. I looked over at the sink and started running warm water over the plates, I grabbed a small scrub brush from the window sill and pour some soap on the bristles and scrubbed down the plates. I placed the brush on the window sill again and noticed it heavily raining. I sighed. I heard Luna stand up and I looked over at her, she smiled, I smiled back. She walked over to couch and lied down again, she picked up her headphones and placed them on her head. She pulled her tail out from her back and she picked up her book again. I turned around and put the plates back in the cupboard and walked back over to the living room, the thick red carpets graced my feet again and I smiled. I loved the feeling of the warm carpet touching me feet, I walked over to my room and grabbed the metal handle and opened the door. I took off my shirt and pants and grabbed a pair of pajama pants and a loose T-shirt, I grabbed my iPod of my dresser and walked back in to the living room. I sat on my recliner chair and put on my headphones. I closed my eyes and tried to let my thoughts wander, tried to fantasize about people. But all my thoughts returned to the farm and Luna. I opened my eyes and looked at Luna. I envied her. She could find joys in books, I would just get bored and put it down and turn on the T.V. Or I would grab laptop and watch videos, I looked around the room. I exhaled. I looked over at Luna, she was bopping her foot to the rhythm of the music. I giggled, and looked over at my laptop. I sighed, I was trying not to get it but I got up and walked over to it and picked it up. Luna looked at me and laughed, I span around. She smiled, I rolled my eyes and walked back to my chair laptop in hand. I opened the lid and jabbed the power button, the Mac logo popped up. I Wait for a moment look out the window, the rain was blowing on a heavy angle. The screen flickered and I looked down at it, It was at the log in screen. It typed in my password and It brought me to my home screen. I click on the Safari browser and open up YouTube. I browsed around for a while, I grabbed my head phones and plugged them in to the computer. I listened to a music video for awhile and took my head phones off again and placed them around my neck. I looked over at Luna, she was still reading, I waved my hands and she shifted her eyes to see my under her book.
"What's up?"
I smiled "I am amazed that you can read for hours on end."
She looked at her book again "They're like movies." she grinned
"I... Don't see how you can do that, but okay sure."
She put her book on the coffee table along with her headphones, she looked over at me again. "So. What's actually up?"
"Nothing. I am trying to think of something to do."
She looked at the T.V. "What's on?"
"I don't know, But I don't want to watch T.V." I paused and looked around "I'm going to go to bed" I yawned
"Alright I'll see you in the morning"
"Night" I got up and walk towards my room, I turned right and walked in to the bath room. I closed and locked the door behind myself, I walked over to the faucet and started running warm water over my paws. I took of my pants and shirt and looked at myself in the mirror my pure white fur was glistening in the warm glow from the lamps above my mirrors. I placed my hands on my over sized hips, I hated them, I was more shaped then my sister. I span around and looked at myself, my light baby blue eyes met in the mirror. I never really made eye contact with myself before, It's was bizarre. I broke my gaze and looked down at my sheath. I grinned and walked back over to the shower, I stepped inside and let the water wash down my fur. I pumped a glob of shampoo in to my hand and massaged the fur on my head. I rinsed the soap from my hair and I grabbed a towel from the rack on the right side of the bathroom. I dried my head and body and put my pants back on and walked back over to the door. I opened and walked back over to my room, I opened the door to find is completely black, I pawed around for the light switch and flicked it up. The light blink and turned on, I walked over to my bed and lied down. I looked at the ceiling and my eyes became heavy.
I woke up, my neck was stiff. The light were on and the sun was streaming in through my window in thin strips of light. I kicked off my blankets and stood up, I stretched and walked over to the door, I opened it and found Luna on the couch reading again. I chuckled and started walking towards the kitchen, I felt my left knee shake and I took another step. When my foot hit the ground my knee collapsed and I felt myself speed towards the ground. I hit and a sharp pain went all the way up my back. When I opened my eyes again Luna was standing beside me holding my head.
I took a deep breath "What happened?"
"Your knee collapsed again."
I blinked and tried to ignore the pain "Fuck."
"Do you want me to go get Jen?"
"No I'll be fine, just leave me here."
She laughed "I'll at least drag you over to the couch"
"Alright"
Luna walked over to my arms and dragged me about five feet to the front of the couch, I lifted myself up and I put I pillow under my head. I looked at Luna "Thanks" I smiled
"you're welcome..." she paused and had a big grin on her face "does-"
I interrupted "Mean we don't have class? Yes."
She laughed "Awesome. So do you want to work outside then?"
"Yea sounds nice, but gimme a few hours here."
"Yea I know. I'm going to go get my laptop."
"Alright" I watched her stand up and walk to her room, she was smiling. I didn't want to make her do classes, she hated them. They only made her sad. I don't know. I can't do that to her right now, I just wanted to make her as happy as possible. I tilted my head and looked out the window, it was cloudy and on the verge of raining. It made me happy to have spring back. I loved the rainy cold days, the wind. All of it was so inspiring, I always felt more calm on days like this. It is as if, It empowered me. I saw the rain start to fall, The windows became wet and my view was obscured. I looked back down at my feet and saw Luna's door open, laptop in hand she walked over to my chair and sat down. She looked over at me and smiled "Would you like your laptop?"
"No thanks, but thank you" I grinned
she nodded and opened her laptop screen and pressed the power button. The apple logo popped up and she placed her hands on the keyboard. I closed my eyes and lied down again, I heard Luna mashing her keyboard. I opened my eyes and looked over at her, there was a naked picture of some young boy no older then 12, Luna must have saw because she covered the screen with her paws and her eyes darted over to me. She had an embarrassed look on her face and it looked like she was frozen. I just held up a hand and said "I don't mind Luna, we all have urges..." she just looked at me. For a moment her eyes looked back at the screen and then she looked back. She clicked the exit button and started to surf the Internet, I watched her thinking to myself "Was I being to lenient with her? Should I be more like a parent?" I laid there watching her, wondering, worried. I never felt Like I was up for the job, how could I raise someone only a year younger then me? I don't know much more then she does. I am just as blind as she can be, I can't school her, I am just as confused as she is. I can cook. But that's it and that's all I can really do for her, but I always felt I should do more. Luna looked over at me "Can I help?" she paused "Or are you making sure I don't watch porn again?"
I chuckled "No, Just zoning out"
"M'kay" She continued to surf around on YouTube and I stood up, I walked over to my room and opened the door I walked over to my dresser and pulled out a pair of pants and a shirt. I pulled off my pants and threw them on my bed. Luna yelled in a shocked voice "CLOSE YOUR DOOR MAN!"
I span around and slammed the door closed, my heart was racing. I paused and started putting on my heavy cargo pants, I grabbed the T-shirt from the dresser and slipped it on. I walked out and tapped Luna on the shoulder.
"Go get dressed, we're going out side"
She smiled "Awesome"
"And uh... Sorry about the door thing"
She shrugged and stood up "It's okay" and with that she walked off to her room, I walked over to the mud room and sat down on my bench on the left side of the room I pulled my boots out from under my bench and placed then In front of myself, I slid in my right foot and tied the knot. I tried to slid in the left show put there was a tight little knot, I bit at it and it came undone. I slid in my foot and did up the lace, Luna walked in, she was wearing heavy cargo pants and a heavy fleece lined jacket. She sat down on the bench across from me, She slid on her shoes and started to do them up, I stood up and grabbed my jacket from the hook and slid it on. I closed the heavy wooden door in to the living room and waited for Luna to finish tying her shoes. I opened the door to out side, A heavy cool breeze rolled in carrying rain. I shivered and then stepped out, heavy rain drops were bouncing off my head. I kept my ears flat and started walk down the path towards the garden, I turned right and saw the tree and our water tower. I turned right again and was on the left face of the green house I walked around it and found myself standing at the door to the small garden shed no taller then 6 feet. I crouched slightly and pulled out a green metal watering can, I walked over to the faucet on beside the shed and filled up the container I stood up and walked over to the door of the green house, I pushed a latch and the door opened I stepped inside and started watering. I grabbed the basket from the back of the greenhouse I pulled off a couple of peppers from there vines (I think vines... I don't know I don't have a green thumb...) and I pulled a couple of carrots from the soil. I placed them in the basket and left it in the window beside the greenhouse. I walked over to the door and closed it, I cleaned off my hands and placed the watering can back in the shed, I sighed and turned around to see Reese working his crops. He looked up at me and waved, I waved back with a smile and then started walking back towards the tree where Luna was sitting, when I was walking I notice her eyes were closed and she had a smile on her face. I stopped dead in my tracks when I saw this, I didn't want to disturb her. I looked over at Reese again, he waved me over. I slowly stepped away from Luna and jogged over to the small wood and rope bridge connecting our pieces of earth. Reese's land was almost identical to Luna and I's, the only difference is that he has more crop on his and he turned out more food and water. I stepped over a row of veggies and walked right up to Reese, he was leaning on his dutch hoe. His mane was soaking wet and he was wearing a heavy rain jacket and rubber boots, he was about a foot shorter then me with light brown fur and dark brown eyes. He smiled when I came over to say hello.
"Hello" I waved "How can I help?"
"Oh nothing Maru, I was just wonder if you wanted to join my wife and I, and your younger sister tonight for dinner" My youngest sister was 10 and living with Reese and Jen. Jen was infertile and wanted children, I didn't have the means to raise her and they both asked if they could live with them. I couldn't say no
"Well I am honoured, but I would like that yes." I paused for a split second "How's Emma?"
"Emma? She's fine, but she misses Luna."
I chuckled "Well I'll be sure to bring her over" I smiled and looked over at Luna, she was leaning against the tree still. I smiled, she was starting to remind me of myself.
