Shower Scene
#1 of No Homo
So... This was something I wrote for myself, but I'm posting it just because.
It's sort of just my first attempt at writing this character.
Warnings...
There's no actual sex
Button wasn't fat, just a little pudgy. He didn't know why his mother was so insistent on him "shaping up". He'd gotten a nice job, met lots of people, got his own place, just because he wasn't dating didn't mean he needed a change. He looked just fine as he was. And yet, the corgi found himself using the gym membership his mother purchased for him.
"It'll be nice to let off steam," he told himself.
The gym wasn't overly fancy, but it did have a sauna, a pool, a decent selection of weight training options, a boxing ring, and enough treadmills that he wasn't likely to ever fight over a spot. Having just arrived from work, Button wandered past all that and into the locker room.
The room was full of changing men of various shapes, all too embarrassing for Button to look directly at. He mostly stared at the floor, especially since he was just short enough that he stood waist tall for nearly half the other patrons. The steam from the nearby showers helped mask his embarrassment, or at least he hoped it would.
He found his locker, noticed someone was standing in front of it, and turned to the nearby bench to change. He glanced around sheepishly to see if anyone was watching, satisfied that no one was, he removed his work shirt, immediately putting on the loose cotton t shirt. As soon as he pulled down his pants, a thud of a gym bag landed on the bench next to him.
Button froze. Looking up he saw a Pitt grinning down at him. Button tried to look like he wasn't embarrassed, like everything was normal, like he wasn't trying to make sure no one looked at his rather unimpressive butt.
"New here?" The Pitt's voice was gruff but friendly.
Button couldn't find his voice to respond. He watched the Pitt take off his polo revealing well defined pecs to match arms that could lift a car. Button tore his eyes away to change into his exercise shorts before being able to say anything at all.
"Y-yeah," Button managed to mutter out.
The Pitt laughed.
A slender cat in a towel a few steps away spoke up, "Don't be so embarrassed, plenty come to trim up."
Button looked up at the cat, and realized that his musculature was tight to the point that he could easily see exactly where each muscle began and ended through his wet fur. This didn't make Button feel much better about the changing room, but maybe it did a little about his being at the gym in the first place.
Button finished changing and tried to get to his locker, only to have to wait for the Pitt to finish with the locker above his first. He watched the larger man confidently walk out, before stashing his clothes. Last second, he remembered his headphones, so he could listen to that audio book he had picked up.
Back in the weight room, Button headed to the far side where the treadmills stood. He passed the Pitt, noticing the man lifting what Button assumed was more than he weighed himself. As Pitt noticed him, he gave Button a cocky grin, to which Button quickly looked away.
The treadmill was easy enough to operate, even from Button's low vantage point. He put his phone in the holder, turned on his media player, and started the treadmill.
His adventure began with an explosive battle at sea between pirates and the crew of a merchant ship bravely fighting for their lives. He didn't realize time passing as the heroine of the story was captured, and merchant vessel sunk. The pirates discussed plans for their captives, with the captain suggesting ransom. That night however, the heroine was planning on staging a new battle, but as soon as she had a plan to get her comrades out of their bonds, the captain showed his ugly head to pull the heroine up to his quarters. She defiantly struggled the whole way, and made more than a few attempts for the man's sword despite her hands being tied together. Eventually the captain had her in his chambers where he forced her down on his bed in order to...
Button realized the discomfort in his shorts, and stopped walking to look about hoping no one had noticed. Most of the crowd had already left, only a few truly dedicated patrons, and those who arrived later, remained. Looking at his phone, he realized that he had been so absorbed in his book that his sense of time had been thrown out the window. A sudden sense of ache in his legs confirmed that he may have been at it for too long.
Button laughed to himself. Maybe he'd finally get a chance to make it through his podcast backlog.
He scampered back to the changing room and was hit again by the fresh steam of a shower. It felt nice, and there weren't any people in the changing room. Maybe he could venture to get a shower in before the drive home. It wasn't like anyone had been judgmental of him.
He stood anxiously at his locker before finally making the decision to rinse off. He grabbed a towel, removed his clothes and made the trek. He could hear the sound of a shower head flowing, but maybe if he kept his eyes down it wouldn't be awkward.
As soon as he turned the corner his eyes fell upon the Pitt from earlier. He was twice Button's size, in more ways than one. Steamy water bouncing off his fur as he lathered in soap, rippling muscles flexing as he reached about to shampoo his fur. The Pitt looked up at Button who averted his eyes a little too late.
The water felt great on his tired body. The warm tingling made him feel good as new, though he suspected he'd sleep well that night. Next time he'd have to bring some shampoo. He did wish the gym had opted for shower stalls rather than this open room, but maybe it wasn't so bad.
He chanced a sly glance at the other patron, managing to get away with it. The Pitt had a beautiful backside, and though he was hidden in his sheath he could easily imagine how massive his bone was. Thoughts raced through his mind of the massive dog holding him, letting him sit in his lap, scratching behind his ears, giving him wet doggy kisses, and holding him down by the back of his neck.
Images ran through Button's head. He imagined the smell of the man's musky member after a workout. The possible salty taste of him caused Button to lick his lips. The feeling of his massive knot spreading him out...
Button accidentally let out a whimper.
"You alright?" The Pitt asked, a slight bit of empathy poking out through his gruffness.
Button turned to find the man had been on his way out. He smiled nervously up at the guy, unable to push out any words. The Pitt didn't make eye contact, instead looking a little lower. Button was suddenly aware of his erection and blushed furiously.
"Oh." The Pitt scrunched his brow, "Sorry, I'm married." And as if that wasn't explanation enough he emphasized the next few words, "To a woman!"
As the Pitt walked off, Button slunk back defeated. He really didn't expect anything out of this, but he couldn't help but feel awful. He turned the water to cold and let himself cool off before shaking himself dry
He stepped out, towel around his waist purely for modesty and thankful that the Pitt had already left. The only other patron in the changing room was a little fox. Button tried to pay no mind, but he swore the fox was staring at him as he changed. He glanced over his shoulder at the guy, and the third time they made eye contact. They both turned away blushing.
After getting dressed, Button snuck one last look at the fox, who was sliding into his gym shorts. Even through the baggy boxers, the butt was divine. His tail was fluffy, and his arms were lithe. He had his hair trimmed short, indistinguishable from the rest of his fur, and the random Hawaiian shirt he had changed out of gave Button a sudden giggle. The man was less than a hand taller than him, and super cute, so Button decided to talk to him.
But as soon as the fox closed his locker, Button lost his nerve and hid his face away. Maybe it'll work out. Maybe soon.
