With eyes full of excitement, the young lady curiously read over the invitation. It seemed so weird one would be handed to them. She had only been in town for a couple hours and they had already sent her some sort of invitation. No one could have known someone as great and powerful as Oleetha was coming into town. Of course, she might have played up herself a little too much. The invitation hadn't even been directly handed to her. Instead, her mostly human travel buddy held it.

The bluenette had only recently began tagging along with a ragtag bunch calling themselves the Wandering Travelers. They had a rather generic name but they sure were fun to hang around. Periodically, the group would temporarily went their separate ways . Sometimes, everyone went their way. Sometimes, two or three of them went one way while the others went the other. This time, it would be Marcos who she decided to tail. The direction he seemed to be heading peaked her interest. She hadn't really seen a large enough city before, only towns and villages. Even then, the experiences were a little foreign to the Quintzel. Her kind generally dwelt in the thick, jungles, far away from most civilization.

Her purple eyes had already been filled with wonder since they entered the city. Suffice to say, it was amazing to the Quintzel, essentially a bee-like jungle fairy. She presently hovered over Marcos' shoulder, a green-ish glow surrounding her. She moved away from Marcos for a moment with a giddy look. The raven-haired man peered over at her, then shrugged his shoulders and turned the other way. "Meh... not really a people person... Besides, we'd both would need a mask. That's 2,000 gp. We got better things to spend my... part of the gp on. It's not very often we get a payout like this after all."

Almost immediately, the bluenette flew back over to him and positioned herself by Marcos' ear. She began to plead. "I'm sure we could always find Nakita if we need to. She's always got money. I'm sure one of us could butter her up later. Besides, it looks like nearly everything is free, including the food, especially the food. Maybe, we can even sneak away with some afterward. Maybe, I can even swindle..."

"No! No swindling or stealing... I have no objection with trying to leave with a little more food but we're not stirring up any unnecessary trouble. We might be in town a couple more days before we can set off again. There's some ruins we are to rendezvous with Nakita and Selphie at in a couple days. I don't want any trouble following us there." The young man again turned, this time to his side, his arms still crossed, his eyes now closed as he softly added, "We're still not even sure if where we're heading is meant to be off-limits or not. I'd prefer we keep a low profile."

"What about my share? I helped you all some. Am I not an honorary member now? There seems to be no real dress code so it's not like we'd need more than what we got. You look strapping enough in that new outfit. You need somewhere to really flaunt it." To really seal the deal, Oleetha flew in front of Marcos and hovered in front of his eyes just as they opened. She positioned herself just right so the first thing he'd see in the pout on her little face.

"Alright, fine! You win. Mostly because I'm a little curious myself. I just don't want to waste this boon we've come into. For once, we actually have some wiggle room and without needing to rely on Nakita. You do know Nakita prefers to keep her estate's money out of this, right? All of us have come to respect that. She only finances what she needs to for supplies, mostly unexpected purchases."

Once again, Marcos took the invitation into his hands and looked it over. "Alright, we'll get a hold of a couple masks. However, I'm curious how this is going to work for you. I guess you'll have to stay big for this... unless they can be enchanted like your clothes to shrink and grow with you."

The Quintzel playfully rolled her eyes. "Nothing is enchanted. My magic simply causes whatever I'm wearing to change in size with me. I thought we made that part clear before. Everything on me shrinks in proportion with me. It's as simple and natural as your little slight disguise."

The raven-haired man instinctively placed his right hand on his left. He still seemed to be in disbelief that he was never entirely human. He had been led to believe his whole life that he was just a human with strange powers, strange attributes. Sure, his strange tongue and glowing eyes had been suspect in the past but Marcos figured there was good explanation for those, even the slightly sticky nature of his tongue.
