The air was cold. Frost formed on the ground around the walkways and the trees seemed to shake with a chill that had settled in for the winter. A cloaked figure stealthily moved along the pathway avoiding the lights and people walking by. The figure soon reached the yard leading to a darkened house two stories high. The figure grinned and quickly began to scale the wall. He soon reached a balcony he leaned over and softly tapped the window.
