Towel Boy - Birthday Celebrations
#8 of The Towel Boy
Robbo's birthday is here and he's VERY grateful for his gift.
Thanks again to lantheorc and others in the Writing Corner for helping with this story. (Interested in joining us? You can find it here: https://t.me/joinchat/CPoeZhclggenrOEh0yYwvg )
Michael quickly knocked on Coach's office door. The rapid knocking echoed down the abandoned hallway of Lang Park's stadium, practice wouldn't start again for another month but it didn't stop him from looking up and down the hallway in case Robbo saw how large his present was. He held the large, flat present wrapped in glossy maroon wrapping paper awkwardly in one arm. Even with his mum's help it took him more time than he was willing to admit to put together a fitting present for Robbo.
Coach opened the door and Michael handed the black stallion Robbo's present. "Thanks again for helping me with his present."
Easily holding the present Coach said In a cheerful baritone, "Any time. I'll get this to the pub without him seeing it." Michael thanked him again and made his way to leave before he froze, cringing when Coach added, "Try not to forget next time."
Michael turned to Coach, "It's my first time. Cut me some sl-" The stallion cut him off a stern, chiding look. Michael immediately looked down and promised, "I won't." Coach nodded and Michael scampered away out of the stadium into the evening sun.
Getting in his car a buzz came from his pocket. A text from his mother.
>Don't worry about picking me up. Gonna catch a taxi
"Bloody hell, woman," Michael said to himself. He used picking her up as an excuse to pass the present over without Robbo knowing. Michael decided that he'll just go back to the apartment and ride along with Robbo. He paused half way through buckling his seat belt. He looked for a reason that would explain the large amount of time he took in the detour to pass it over. Traffic he decided, that always worked as an excuse.
He drove back to their apartment and watched TV until they left for the pub. It was faster to get to the Harvest Inn than it was from Michael's old apartment because Robbo knew how to bypass most of the traffic he encountered. They arrived there on time, something Michael was not used to. "You really need to show me how to do that." He said, closing the car door.
"It's easy. Stop taking the main streets." Robbo told Michael, the kelpie didn't believe the dingo. There would've been more to it than avoiding the main streets.
"You think Mum's taxi would've gotten through the traffic?" he asked as they walked into the pub. His answer was a familiar cackle coming from behind a gathering of 'The Pack'."Oh no."
"I'll get us some drinks," Robbo said, patting Michael's shoulder and making his way to the bar. Michael followed behind, "No, I'm paying. It's your birthday."
He stuck by Robbo at the bar and nursed his drink for several minutes, mustering the courage to find out what his mother was telling the team. He looked behind Robbo and what he saw made him groan, "Oh, not again."
"What?" asked Robbo as he turned around, "Ah, shit" Ray was sitting down at the end of the bar expectantly, with a smile and two drinks.
"Ten bucks says he'll get ghosted again." said Michael.
"Bluey," chided Robbo, "He's been turned down so many-"
"You don't want to lose the bet," Michael interrupted, looking at the dingo over his glass as he sipped his drink.
"No. We take the piss out of him enough as it is. We shouldn't start betting."
"I'll take you up on that bet," David chimed in. as he sat on a free stool and slid two, pink five dollar notes onto the bar. Robbo placed a blue ten on top of the fives and weighed the notes down with his now empty glass. Michael sifted through his wallet, "I only have a twenty."
"Then why did you bet ten?" asked David.
"I thought I had a ten," said Michael as he waved down the bartender to break his twenty. All three kept an eye on the border collie as the minutes ticked by as Ray's smile remained on his face, ever hopeful.
Michael shook his head, "I regret betting on this. It's going to kill him when she doesn't show." He waited for a response but got nothing but the loud chatter and laughter of the pub. "Guys?" he asked before looking up to David, who was looking past Michael, slack jawed.
Michael turned in his stool and tried to look past Robbo, who was similarly slack jawed. He had to lean over the bar to look past the large dingo. His jaw dropped as well when he saw Ray talking with another border collie whose tail was wagging excitedly. She looked familiar, Michael leaned close to Robbo and whispered, "Sister?"
"He only has a little brother in Grade Twelve," said Robbo without looking away from the shocking sight.
"I swear I've seen her somewhere before," Michael whispered to Robbo and himself. Their gawking attracted the female border collie's attention who looked over to the three. Michael quickly sat back down onto his stool and almost fell off it. He was caught by David, the grey kangaroo pulling him back onto it before he pocketed the betted cash. Michael caught a smile crack onto the kangaroo's lips before it quickly vanished. Michael gasped, "Oh, you motherfucker." He slapped David's arm, "You knew."
"No, but I did have a feeling about it." David said, smiling into his glass.
Michael grumbled into his glass and cringed when he heard another painfully familiar cackle from the other end of the pub. He tipped the last of his drink back dragging himself away from the bar. He softly smacked Robbo on the shoulder, "This is your fault." and the dingo smirked into his glass in response. Michael made his way to the back of the pub to the booths where Nikau and Charlie blocked him from going forward, their backs to him.
"I'm probably going to regret asking this," Nikau said with a cringing smile, "Why was he walking weird?"
"They don't need to know that," Michael cut in as he squeezed past the ram and bull.
"Yes we do," said Nikau, pulling Michael into a headlock, his eyes creasing in that smug way Michael hated whenever he had something to hold over someone. Michael struggled in the headlock and said through clenched teeth, "No, you don't"
He turned to his mother, "Please don't." She continued despite her son's begging and told 'The Pack' of how he and her found out that it was because of ringworm in an extremely unsavoury area. Michael renewed his efforts to escape the lock but the large ram held firm. Robbo came to his rescue with another two drinks, telling Nikau to let him go. At least, until the ram told him the story. He promptly changed his approach and joined in with Nikau, picking on the humiliated kelpie who snatched the drink he was offered and chugged it, squeaking a hiccough as he finished.
Coach came in for the actual rescue carrying the large, glossy, maroon present. Michael forgot about all the teasing he'd been getting when he saw Robbo's reaction. He delighted in seeing how he perked up and wagged his tail when he saw and realised what Coach was carrying. The stallion nodded towards Michael as he handed the present to Robbo. Robbo gave Michael a wide smile and tore eagerly into the present like he was a little pup, revealing a large picture frame. He tilted his head as he saw what was in the frame. An old, outdated Brumbies jersey. His face slowly lit up and his tail wagged harder as he saw the scrawls that were scattered over the old jersey, scrawls that matched the ones on a certain football in a cabinet back in their apartment but with fresher ink.
Michael leaned in with a soft smile, "Happy twenty-fourth. It took me quite a while to get all their autographs. Had to get Coach to back me up when they thought I was an overly enthusiastic fan."
"They didn't recognise you from the TV?" asked Charlie.
"It was over the phone," said Michael, turning to the bull and yelped when he was attacked from behind by Robbo who lifted him into a crushing hug. He wheezed, struggling to breath with his boyfriend's arms constricting him. He kicked his dangling legs trying to escape.
"You're gonna kill your squeaky toy if you keep that up," warned Nikau.
Robbo dropped Michael who drew in a shuddering breath. He leaned against a booth table where the framed jersey was resting against and coughed, "I guess you liked it." What little breath he had caught was immediately knocked back out of him when Robbo clapped him on the back.
"Liked it? I loved it!" Robbo pulled him back into another hug, this one softer but with his feet still dangling off the ground, "How long did it take you to get it together?"
"I'd rather not say," Michael said as he pushed into the booth. Robbo asked "You've had two drinks now, right?" Michael nodded, Robbo continued, "Alright, I'll get you something nice from the bar and I'm paying." Michael tried to refuse but was blocked by Nikau who kept him in the booth. Robbo returned and handed Michael a bright red and orange drink, smelling strongly of orange and pomegranate. His ears perked up, he'd never had a tequila sunrise before or just tequila for that matter. Michael took a sip and suppressed a cough as the taste of the orange and grenadine was overpowered by the burning of the alcohol. Michael laughed, struggling with his numbed tongue, "Holy thit, that'th thtrong."

Michael opened his eyes to see their dark bedroom and groaned. He rubbed his face, no headache. He was thankful for that. He rolled over and jerked in shock when he saw the state Robbo was in. His tongue was hanging out of his open muzzle and was drooling into the pillow. He poked the dingo in the cheek to no response. He was blacked out.
Not wanting the dingo to vomit on the bed Michael shoved against the unconscious dingo but only achieved in rocking him on the mattress. Giving up on that approach he got up off the bed and went to Robbo's side of the bed. Michael braced a leg against the side of the bed and slowly rolled the larger, comatose dingo onto his side, facing away from his side of the bed.
Michael panted from the exertion. He left the bedroom to retrieve a bucket for the dingo to use in the morning. When he passed the drawers his eye was caught by the framed jersey crookedly hung up on the wall above them. A smile grew on his face and stayed on it as he returned with the bucket, put it on Robbo's side of the room and returned to bed, snuggling up to the large canine's back.

Michael heard the shower turn off and put a couple slices of bread into the toaster. It took until midday for Robbo to finally drag himself and have a shower. Robbo's hangover seemed more like a mild inconvenience to the dingo and was nowhere near as bad as Michael's was when they first drank together which the kelpie was envious of.
"Good arvo, Sleeping Beauty." Michael said with a mischievous grin as Robbo walked out bleary eyed out of the bedroom, wearing nothing but his towel. Robbo grumbled, "Bite me."
"You're meant to do that to me. Unless you want to switch things up." Michael smirked as the toaster chose that point to pop and made the dingo cringe slightly. Michael buttered the toast and passed it to Robbo on a plate along with a couple ibuprofen and a bottle of sports drink from the fridge.
Robbo downed the painkillers with a swig from the sports drink and took the plate of toast to the couch. He turned the TV on, with lowered volume and rewatched the sci-fi show they loved watching together. Michael joined him after making a sandwich. "Do you always get like this on your birthday?"
Robbo grunted in confirmation, sipping his drink, "Only on my birthday. But nowhere near as bad as it was on Nikki's eighteenth."
"How much do you remember? I don't remember much." Michael said as he thought hard trying to remember past the tequila sunrise but failed. Robbo rubbed his chin in thought and answered, "We couldn't remember anything. Asides from the party and Nikki waking up in knickers."
"What?" asked Robbo when he saw Michael give him an incredulous look. "Oh! Last night. Uh, yeah, tequila is not your friend. It seems three is not your limit if that's involved." He scratched his muzzle in thought again, "Uh, it gets pretty fuzzy after the eleventh drink."
Michael grumbled as he chewed his sandwich, annoyed at the shear gap between their alcohol tolerances. Robbo continued, either ignoring or not noticing Michael's grumbling. "You were, uh, affectionate as usual." Michael raised a nervous, questioning eyebrow. Robbo gave him a reassuring pat on the shoulder, "The tequila was strong enough to knock you onto your arse but it wasn't that_ _strong. It was still just your third drink. You were just groping me. In front of your mother."
"Next one" hissed Michael through clenched teeth. Robbo chuckled, "You were chatty. Very chatty. But we couldn't understand a bloody thing you were saying. Less because you were speaking nonsense and more because you were slurring that damn much."
"I do remember my tongue getting pretty numb when I first drank it." said Michael before moving his tongue around his mouth.
Robbo barked out a laugh, "It got so much worse after that. It was like you were speaking with your mouth full." Michael stood up to clear the coffee table. "Speaking of having your mouth full." Robbo pulled Michael onto his lap. Michael laughed and slapped the dingo on the chest, trying to get back up and grab the plates but froze when he felt the dingo's jaws grab the scruff of his neck.
"Don't," warned Michael but his slowly wagging tail betrayed how he really felt about the dingo's 'threat'. Robbo's tan furred arms wrapped around Michael's chest and pulled him back up against the dingo's chest and his rear resting on a slowly growing tent under the towel. He let go of Michael's scruff, "Oh, come on. I still need to thank you for the jersey. I wasn't exactly in that state to do so last night. Neither were you."
Michael squirmed around to face Robbo as the dingo pulled off Michael's shirt. "Tell me, you're my boyfriend?"
"Yeah," Robbo slowly released the kelpie's shirt, letting it fall to the cushion next to them. "Where are you going with this?"
"It was a gift. You don't need to pay me back." said Michael as he gently massaged the dingo's shoulders.
Robbo looked away, embarrassed, almost ashamed, "I was raised to always pay people back and not take advantage."
Michael touched Robbo's cheek and made him look him in the eyes, "You're not. The core concept of a gift is not wanting anything in return," Michael rested his head on Robbo's bare chest, "Besides, seeing your reaction when you saw it was repayment enough."
Michael looked up and saw Robbo giving him an odd look, "Why are you looking at me like that?"
Robbo's arms tightened around Michael and he stood up from the couch, leaving his towel behind. He put his head on Michael's head and said, "No reason."
"I have legs!" complained Michael, waving his legs in the air as he was carried into the bedroom. He was unceremoniously dropped onto the bed and he scooted up the bed. "It was your birthday. You don't have to thank me like this." he groaned as he lifted his hips to allow the dingo to pull his shorts and underwear off. Robbo tossed the shorts behind him as he crawled up and gave the kelpie a peck on the nose, "Don't have to. But I want to."
Michael closed his eyes and blushed, he bared his neck and hugged Robbo closer. Or at least he tried to. Michael tugged but the dingo stayed resolute above him. Robbo shuffled back down the bed and Michael opened his eyes and looked at the dingo, confused. He was looking up the kelpie with a mischievous glint in his eyes.
"What are you planning?" Michael asked, eyes narrowed in suspicion. Robbo smirked and dragged his tongue along the kelpies cock and swallowed it. Michael gasped and clawed at the bedsheets. Robbo never went down on Michael and he'd never felt any desire to ask the dingo.
His inexperience showed, cringing and suppressing gags. It was obvious to Michael that he didn't like doing it. He leaned up, grabbing Robbo's head and tried to coax him off, "Come on, you're not enjoying this. You don't need to do this." Michael suddenly clamped his thighs onto Robbo's head and hunched over him, moaning, when the head of his cock rubbed along the roof of the dingo's mouth.
Still with his mouth on Michael, Robbo looked at the kelpie's crotch, up to Michael hunched over his head, then back to his crotch. He moved his head up and down, running the head along the roof of his mouth and got a shuddering moan from Michael. Smiling, he continued and slid a hand underneath the moaning kelpie.
Michael gasped and grabbed Robbo's ears as he felt a finger enter him. He was in bliss, Robbo's inexperience was overshadowed by his enthusiasm and the fact that the dingo was doing something like that for him. The finger stroking inside him, Robbo's enthusiasm and Michael's inexperience with receiving like he was, quickly brought him to the edge. He wanted desperately to cum but he couldn't bring himself to do so in Robbo's mouth.
He pulled him off of his dick in the nick of time, cumming just as he left Robbo's mouth and shooting onto the dingo's face. Robbo clenched his eyes shut and pulled away, the rest of Michael's orgasm hitting him on the chest and abs.
Michael shuffled up the bed to the pillows and Robbo slumped down next him. Michael gave Robbo a cringing smile and he wiped his cum off of Robbo's face, the dingo giving him a flirting look and licked a drop of cum from his cheek and immediately gagged. Robbo rolled over and hung his head off his side of the bed, scraping the offending taste off his tongue.
Robbo shuddered "I see why you don't swallow." shuddered Robbo.
"Nasty, isn't it?" Michael asked as he leaned over and cleaned the last of the cum off the dingo's face, wiping his hand on Robbo's shoulder.
"Ugh, don't wipe it on me!" recoiled Robbo, rolling off the bed.
"Well, I can't wipe it on the bed," said Michael as Robbo walked by the kelpie towards the bathroom, his erection pointing the way. Michael quickly leaned over and playfully grabbed the dingo's bushy, tan furred tail. Robbo jerked to a halt. Michael gave him a mischievous grin when he looked back confused before one of his own grew on his face as Michael pulled him back towards the bed.
"I should really wash this stuff off first," said Robbo as Michael reeled him onto the bed next to him.
"Not until you get off as well," Michael said as he straddled Robbo's lap and pushed him back onto the bed.
"You don't ne-" Robbo started before Michael interrupted, "Don't need to."
"But you want to," finished Robbo, resting back into the bed as Michael leant over grabbed lube from the bedside table. Robbo took the lube from Michael's hand and lubed his fingers. He reached behind Michael but didn't start fingering him like the kelpie thought but started fingering himself, his face twisting in discomfort.
Michael put a hand on the dingo's arm to stop him and asked, "Woah, what are you doing that for?"
"You said you wanted to top for once." said Robbo, confused.
Michael looked at Robbo, he too, confused before remembering the year prior. He shook his head and sighed, "I was lying to rile you up. I've never wanted to top"
"Oh, thank god." exhaled Robbo, relaxing and pulling his fingers out of his rear.
Michael kissed Robbo on the nose and chuckled, "You always do all the work though. So lay back and let me do it."
He took the lube from Robbo and lubed up the dingo's shaft. He positioned himself on Robbo's lap, about to lower himself down when Robbo asked "You're not gonna loosen up first?"
"We've been together for a while now. I'll be fine." replied Michael as he positioned the head of Robbo's shaft at his entrance.
"Really?"
"Yes, really." retorted Michael, his voice strained as he slowly lowered himself. Robbo gave a small, quick thrust making Michael gasp and tense up. Michael trembled, glaring at the smug dingo, "Not a word."
Robbo stayed silent, slowly rubbing Michael's thighs as the kelpie got used to the intrusion before he used his legs to raise himself up, then lower himself, working up to a slow and steady rhythm. Robbo laid his head back, sighing in pleasure as Michael slowly fucked himself on the dingo.
While Michael found he liked bottoming like he was, he preferred it when he was underneath Robbo and loved it when the dingo dominated him. He also found being on top exhausting work, his legs already starting to tire from the workout.
Michael slowed down to a stop, panting from exhaustion and his thighs burning. Robbo rubbed Michael's thighs, asking him, "Everything alright?"
"How are you able to keep that pace up?" he panted, his head hanging.
"Because I use more than just my legs. I use my hips too." Robbo slid his hands to Michael's hip and softly urged him to roll his hips. Michael panted, this time from pleasure as the dingo's simple advice and guidance showed him a much more enjoyable experience than the simple up and down motions he was doing before.
Robbo grabbed Michael's wrists and placed one hand on his chest and the other on his arm, "I use my arms as well." Taking the hint Michael started combing his fingers through the cream and tan coloured fur of Robbo's chest, stroking and massaging the muscle. The hand on his arm slid down it, to Robbo's hand and entwined his fingers with his.
Robbo brought a hand to Michael's face and looked him in the eyes. The same loving look matched in Michael's. Through his own panting moans he told him "And it's more than just me doing all the work," Robbo started rocking up into the kelpie, "how you do your part of the work is more than just pushing back onto me."
Robbo continued but Michael stopped listening, his words went in one ear and out the other. Michael was too focused on the pleasure he was receiving but also the pleasure he was giving the dingo. Each rolling grind would reward the kelpie with a loving grope, a moan and the occasional pleasured growl from the dingo. Continuing his motions, he grabbed Robbo's head and cut off whatever he was saying with a passionate kiss.
Robbo growled into the kiss, grabbed Michael's rear and thrust into him with a clap. The pair grounded hard into each other, competing against each other to get the other off first. Having gotten off earlier Michael had the upper hand, at least until Robbo's hand encircled the smaller dog's cock and he broke the kiss to give his neck a mating bite. Michael howled and his thrusts became erratic and slower as he fired weak, watery streaks of cum on their bellies.
Robbo took Michael's slower thrusts as his cue to take charge again and bucked hard, and repeatedly, into the moaning canine above him. Michael leaned back and tried to keep up with the techniques Robbo showed him as he rode out his orgasm. Robbo bucked into him a final time, grinding as he unloaded into him.
Both slowed to a stop. Michael, exhausted, couldn't stay upright any longer and fell on his side next to Robbo. Catching his breath Robbo turned to the panting kelpie and asked, "So how'd you like 'doing all the work'?"
"It was great," Michael said as he wormed his way into a cuddle with the dingo, Robbo wrapping an arm around him. "Though I think I prefer being under you."
"Really?" was all Robbo asked before rolling on top of Michael. Michael slapped Robbo's side as best he could from underneath the dingo and wheezed, "Get the fuck off of me."
Robbo waited a couple moments on top of the squirming canine before sliding off the bed, dragging Michael off with him. "I have legs," Michael halfheartedly complained as his legs dangled in the air. He rested his head on the Dingo's cream furred chest and let himself be carried to the bathroom to wash off.
