#8 of Fantasies Made Real
So, this is something I'd been wanting to work on for a little bit. It's a prequel to the rest of the Fantasies Made Real stories. This right here is how it all got started. Now this is only a preview, but you can find the full story up on my Patreon with the rest coming to regular sites in a week or so. Enjoy the sneak peek.
Robert felt butterflies dancing about his gut for the first time in a while. By all rights, the tiger shouldn't feel nervous. He'd been hand-picked for this job by the project manager. His boss had grumbled a little, but relented. Seemed the manager thought he was perfect and refused to budge. So, despite only being with Vanguard Solutions only a few months, here he was on a special assignment.
Sure, it meant leaving his wife and the twins at home, but this job was too big to pass up. Jennifer wasn't happy, but the payday would make up for it. She'd been supporting him through everything and now it was his turn to support her.
Plus it got him out of diaper duty for a few months.
Although, it was an odd experience, being sent to another country for his first major job. He'd expected a few cities over, maybe another state. Something he could be home on the weekends for. Pretty hard to be home on the weekend when it was a twenty plus hour flight home.
On the upside, his apartment wasn't bad. After everything he'd heard about Japanese homes, he had been worried. Didn't want to spent the next six months in a one-room studio, sharing a bathroom with everyone. He had a bath, a kitchenette, a bed, and a separate living area. Wasn't much but it was gonna be home. Took him a bit to find the bed. Don't know why they kept it in the closet of all places. He'd have to ask about that later.
But here he was, Aurai Technology. The tiger leaned back, breathing out a little whistle as he looked up the span of the skyscraper. It wasn't all Aurai's, they only had a few floors from what he'd heard. Still, place was massive. "I'd hate to clean those windows," he muttered, spotting the scaffolding hanging above.
Inside was just as clean and modern. A widely smiling rat waited at the front desk, "Hello," she offered a low bow.
"Ah yes," he returned the bow and offered his card, "Robert Madison from Vanguard Solutions. I am here to work with Aurai Technology."
"I had wondered when you were going to get here." The voice behind him was brusque, bearing a faint British accent. Robert turned to the speaker and sopped. She was shorter than him, which wasn't terribly surprising all things consider. He was a pretty tall tiger after all. What was surprising was her appearance.
She looked about like your ordinary rabbit. Tall ears almost reaching to the level of his nose, platinum blonde hair pulled back into a business-like bun, and a somewhat sweet face. She was dressed for business, a flowing skirt that reached almost to her knees, matching jacket, creamy colored stockings, and a smart blouse completed the picture. However, her coat faded between snowy white and a rich gold; bearing rosette-like spots on it. Giving her a closer look, he saw some decidedly feline features. Slit pupils in her shockingly blue eyes, a decidedly feline arch to her back, and the way she held herself.
Her smile bordered on sweet and condescending as she finished examining him as well. "When Vanguard said that their consultant was willing to come in late, I was skeptical." The strange female leaned towards the receptionist and began to speak in smooth Japanese. That smile returned, sweeter this time, as she took the offered swipe card. "Your flight must have been exhausting. You sure that you don't want to wait until tomorrow?"
Robert put on his best professional smile, having to remind himself not to show his teeth. He'd been given a primer and had heard that was rude here. "Oh I slept well enough on the flight." The tiger chuffed out a hearty laugh, "Believe me, a few months of taking care of cubs that don't want to sleep the night? Business class was heaven after that." He took the card, reminding himself to bow, "Robert Madison." He flashed another of his winning smiles, "Oh I had thought about trying to recover my sleep schedule, but I can cope. Thought I might as well start putting myself to use, insisted they tell the project lead I'd like to get to work ASAP."
That smile lingered a little as she handed the card over, "Amahle Heron, though most here call me Yuki or boss." She held out a hand, "Lead for Project Odysseus."
His smile widened just a little as he shook her hand. "Well, can't say you're what I expected for the lead."
Yuki's cottony tail twitched just a little as she lead the way to the elevator, "Didn't expect a woman to be lead?" she grunted.
It was hard to read her, what was she? He could deal with most species about, he'd always been good at reading body language. It got muddy with hybrid species though. "Not at all," he tried to add a slight trill, mimicking a purr most felines could muster effortlessly. "More surprised to find someone from..." he narrowed his eyes in thought just a little as they stepped into the elevator car, "England?" A tilt of his head as he leaned forward, "The North if I had to guess." He used the opportunity to take a quick whiff of her scent. Clean, smelling of soap and detergent, with a hint of something minty. Perfume? Toothpaste? Hard to tell.
"Very good, raised there a few years before my parents moved to London for work." She caught his look and turned, leaning against the wall with a smirk. "Though I was born in South Africa. Mother is a serval and father a very brave rabbit." Yuki pulled her lips back just enough to show off the decidedly feline grin. "Mother called me her little cabbit." She looked over him slowly, both ears rolling forward, "Your accent is hard to trace. I know you're American, but..."
"Ah, worked hard to drop my accent. Lived all over the country though." He smoothly altered his accent, "Born down in Baton Rouge, Pa loved to hit up Mardi Gras each year though. Moved to Saint Louis, Oakland, Raleigh," he rolled his hand. "List goes on."
A whisper of a purr flavored her words, "Sounds like you're quiet the experienced man."
"Well, my father was fond of finding jobs that he felt were better than what he had." Robert knew full well his father had never been able to really hold a job down, but had never gotten fired. He had a weird sense for when to look for new jobs and get out before he was it seemed. Robert stopped and tried to weight the look she was giving, "Enough about me though, tell me about you. What problems does Amahle Yuki Heron have that I specifically can offer the solutions to?"
There was a strange glint in her eyes, "I'm sure you're curious about why I picked you. Well," the elevator chimed and they stepped out, "While I'm certain that some of the other consultants might offer more experience, I prefer getting a different view." She waved a hand towards rows of workers as they strode through an office, "I can find any number of old guard who are stuck in their ways. Countless young upstarts that want to prove themselves. The problem is..." she paused and motioned for him to follow, which he was already doing. "Your office is right up here."
His office wasn't much to speak of. Single door, a window with blinds, desk, chair, and a couple filing cabinets. It was about what he'd been expecting, to be fair. She motioned him in, shutting the door behind. "What I need," her voice dropped to a hiss, "is an American that isn't going to come in here and kiss ass. I need you to come in here like a fucking tiger. A beast ready to lay claim to whole new territory. Ignore social norms and just... grab what you want. Got it?"
This was just getting more and more confusing. His boss had been beyond insistent that he not screw this up. Aurai was a new client with a lot of money to throw around. Now here the project lead was telling him to kick ass and take names?
She must have seen the reservation on his face. Her nose wrinkled and the cabbit grunted, "Whatever blow back will come on me first, and believe me. I can handle it." She straightened her back with a smirk, "I'm the one that insisted you be here, after all. So it's my ass on the line." Despite only coming up to his chest, the feline/rabbit hybrid seemed to tower over him as she stepped in, "Can you handle it?"
"Lady," he straightened his back and offered a grin, "Pretty sure I'm your man." That smile widened just enough to start inching for a snarl. He let a deep growl flavor his words, "They won't know what hit them."
"Good," Yuki turned and waved, "there's a note about your login. My office is across the hall if you need anything." Then she was gone, shutting his door behind her. Robert heaved a sigh and leaned back, nose twitching as he tried to process just what happened. Though... there was something odd about the room. Robert took a slow sniff and frowned. Was that Yuki's perfume or something else? There was some smell that he couldn't quiet place. Ah, he'd just worry about it later. Now... where was that note? More importantly, where would he get a normal keyboard?
Somehow, Yuki made it back to her office without running or slamming the door. Only a countless amount of practice kept her stride steady. That purposeful walk that screamed, Don't bother me, I have more important things to do. She could see some of the programmers and staff glancing at her, then towards Robert's office. Oh they'd meet him soon enough. She'd already explained to them that there was a consultant coming in, but wouldn't be properly introduced until later. That was enough for her staff. Besides, their work day was almost over. They'd be going home or going to one of the izakaya and ponder on the tiger she'd been marching through the office.
Those questions would come later. Now came time for the end of day reports and they knew better than to bother her during that.
She sat down with a sigh, pulling her skirt up to reveal a pink pack tucked into a garter belt, "Damn batteries," came the grunting hiss. "Can even last a whole day." With practiced ease, she pulled the case free and changed the batteries. Fur bristling as soon as the vibrator began to hum again. The cabbit lifted her skirt higher. Easing fingers past her panties to stroke the hooked vibrator that curled gently about her.
A breathy hiss slipped between lips as her fingers slid over her inflamed lips. Pleasure shot up and down her spine as the hybrid rocked her hips. She'd been pretty close a few minutes ago. Giving her little speech while about to cum in front of the big American? Oh that was always the most fun! Except the batteries decided to give out right then. She just hoped he took her agitation to mean that she was annoyed with his hesitation, not that she didn't get off. Though that would have been interesting, wouldn't it?
Just how good was his nose?
Her fingers stilled, fur bristling as she denied herself that climax. It had been close to a male, and not just any male. A big, healthy one. One that had set her fur on end and threaten to make her knees weak. Her body jerked, needing the release, but she wasn't going to let herself have it. No, if she was good at any one thing, it was self-discipline.
Her eyes darted to the window, ears straining to hear the office beyond. She could just barely hear chatter and the sound of feet on carpet beyond. People were starting to filter out of the office. Her crew was pretty loyal, and knew her policy about working late. She wasn't one to force them to work until they were ready to drop, and she was certain most appreciated that. Meant that it was easier for her to convince them to work overtime when needed. Also meant that they were ready to clear out at quitting time.
Yuki hummed quietly and slid her fingers back. Her hand dipped to the remote and turned it down until it was the softest hum. That burning need drove her hips forward as the stimulation was backed down. A slutty whimper threatening to break free of her throat, but she clamped down on it. Her body wanted to get off, it needed release. Soon, she promised herself.
Ten minutes and everyone would clear out. Everyone except for Robert that is. If he was that eager to get started he might be here... a few hours at least. Meant that she had to step up her time table. She'd meant to spent his first full day here seeing how agreeable he might be. Now, well maybe she could skip a step or two.
Looking at the clock, she let her fingers glide over her pussy. Massaging the swollen labia, admiring how hot she was to the touch. "Twenty minutes," she almost purred to herself. "Twenty minutes and we see how much he's willing to play." Rough tongue flicked over her lips as she bumped the vibe, making her hips jolt. Yuki grunted and gave her own pussy a slap, "You're not a bitch. You can wait twenty minutes."
Yuki leaned forward, idly lifting her slick fingers to clean. She whipped a container of wipes from another desk drawer. Carefully using one to clean herself up. Each wipe leaving a cool, somewhat minty scent behind. Bit by bit, she was erasing the scent of her heat, at least for now.
Another look at the clock. Twenty minutes was too easy, wasn't it? She could do that in her sleep. Now an hour, that sounded far more challenging.
