This night is our night
The night was chilly and foggy, the moon high in the air. A lynx boy walks through the thick fog, trying to get to his home from the party he just left, he would have to walk through most of the town to get back to his apartment, but he didn't have a problem with walking at night, he found it soothing. He was wearing a pair of dark jeans and nothing else, having lost his shirt somewhere in the party, and he hadn't even bothered taking his shoes. His cellphone rang in his pocket suddenly, causing him to jump.
He answered it, "Hello?"
The voice on the other line was that of his best friend's, Ironclaw, "Hey M! Where are you man? The party isn't over yet!"
"It is for me, if I stay for any longer than I think I'll end up loosing my pants" His name was actualy Moontail, but everyone called him M or Em
Ironclaw sighed over the phone, "Alright man, I'll see you tomorrow at school, kay?"
"Alright Ironclaw, I'll see you" He hung up the phone and placed it back in his pocket and began whistling a tune.
About a hundred yards from his apartment he heard struggle from one of the alies, being curious he looked into the alley. It was dark and foggy, so it was impossible to tell who or what was in there, but he could make out the shape of a figure crouched over another figure who was laying down. The crouched figure was human, but the other looked to be a black labrador girl, most likely eighteen years old like Moontail himself.
He called out into the alley, "Hey!" The crouching figure looked up, his face was mostly concealed by shadows, but there was one prominant feature on his face; there was blood around his mouth. Moontail gasped and backed up away from the alley as the figure stood out of his crouched position. The figure now appeared to be male, and rather young, but his face was concealed by unatural shadows that seemed to cling to his face like a mask. Than he turned and bolted in the other direction, turning into a blur as he ran. Moontail stumbled a few steps and than ran the rest of the way to his apartment building, bursting through the door and locking it behind him.
It was a bungalow, in a row with seven other bungalows. They were all the same style and colour on the outside, but inside you were allowed to change everything. They were all beige and rustic looking on the outside, and inside of Moontail's the furniture was all modern. The carpet in the living room was white, and the floor in the kitchen/dining room was wooden tiles. The white carpet extended from the living room into the single hallway that branched off into four rooms, two bedrooms, a spare room, and a bathroom. In the far left bedroom there was another bathroom connected to it. The spare room and the far left bedroom's carpets were both faded pink and the carpet in the other bedroom was a dull grey. The tiles in both of the bathrooms were white along with the appliances in them. There was a counter and over-head counter seperating the kitchen from the dining room, but there wasn't any walls seperating the living room from the kitchen or the dining room. In the living room there's a large plasma tv and sterio equipment along with a black marble table in the center of the room and a long couch that curves and acts kind of like a barrier, and the curve was facing the tv. In the corner there's a Laz-E-Boi(TM) leather recliner facing the tv, and on the wall there's a build in fireplace.
Moontail crouched over panting, still in plenty of shock from what he saw. Could that have been an actual vampire? He sighed and shook his head, it couldn't have been, there's no such thing. He sighed and stood up and walked the few steps to the refridgerator and opened it. He looked through it for a few secconds and than pulled out a bottle of water, drinking deeply from it. He than put it away and walked into the far left bedroom, his master bedroom, and plopped down onto the bed, falling into sleep quickly. His dreams were plauged with what he had seen earlier in the day.
