Tana wasn't sure whether or not he had shouted when the large crocodile creature swung and equally large blade directly at him, but when he did he found himself turning away and closing his eyes. There was the loud sound of metal hitting wood and for a second the transformed creature thought that he had just been playing around as he slowly turned back. "If you just wait for a few moments your body will naturally knit back together again... of course if you want you can keep the two pieces of yourself apart but then you'll have to grow back your entire lower body, which after a transformation as recent as yours may take a while. Also did you want a slice and see how taste?"

The sushi snake couldn't believe that he was being offered a taste of himself and at that moment a multitude of questions cascaded through his mind, but surprisingly for Tana the one that was at the forefront was how he actually tasted. He found himself opening his maw and taking the piece that Jerkah had separated for him and, after his brain once more reminded him that at least some part of this thing was himself, sank his fangs into it. "I know that look," Jerkah said with a grin as he took Tana's lower body and moved it closer to the cut he had made, watching as the rice molded itself back together again and the snake could instantly feel his tail again. "You're thinking that it's missing the avocado scales, right?" Tana's jaw dropped slightly at that and to his surprise the crocodile just laughed at that. "Just kidding, your look was the classic one of a newly minted food creature tasting themselves for the first time and realizing how delicious they were, am I right?"

Tana huffed slightly and looked away, trying to cross his arms before he remembered that he didn't have any. "Maybe," the cobra said as he looked back at his completely restored form. "So a green dragon roll, huh? You are right that I'm missing the avocado scales, is there going to be some sort of avocado snake that's going to wrap around me?"

"Oh no, don't be silly," Jerkah said with a chuckle as he went over to a nearby pantry and pulled out a box of avocados. "That would be Allen, and he's more of a filling then something to create decoration... though he does taste pretty good on toast. In any case no, I will be applying the finishing touches for myself."

As the crocodile got to work he told Tana to slither around a bit and get used to his new body before they put the scales on, the snake nodding before doing so. The more time passed the more he was getting used to his new form, especially as he started to learn all his new muscle groups. He found himself able to coil like Marsen did to him, though his form was significantly larger than the one that had wrapped around him what felt like ages ago. When he remembered back to that time he realized that he had been overlooking one particular part of his anatomy that he hadn't seen yet and curled over himself so that he could look at his underside.

At first it didn't appear that he was going to have anything to speak of down there, but as he coiled over himself in order to try and find it he started to arouse himself to the point where something began to stir. Within a matter of an hour he had completely went over his face and that was when he found out that he was no longer a cobra an was more of a constrictor snake instead.

"So if you don't mind me asking..." Tana said after Jerkah had molded his underbelly with larger pieces of avocado to form as his belly scales. "I know you are some sort of powerful nexus creature and you have these powers like what you did to the sake kitsune and now me, but are you a cook first and a transformer second or the other way around?"

"That's a good question," Jerkah replied. "I suppose really there's no way that I can really think of doing one without the other. Both aspects are just things that I do, much like a minion sometimes prefers to be an ingredient like Marsen or as an actual completed mean like yourself. Some of those minions also are quite the accomplished chefs themselves, I have a strawberry cheesecake fox that had helped me in more than one regard to prepare meals."

Tana found himself nodding as he watched more of the scales being put on him, his body shivering slightly when it covered the area where his arms used to be. "So once you put those scales on me am I going to be done?" he asked while he watched. "Or is there another step to this process that I have to look forward too?"

"You will be pretty much done as far as a completed dish," Jerkah explained. "As I'm sure you know there are a number of additional ingredients that you can have with a green dragon roll, so if you wish to alter your taste then we can just add cucumber or cream cheese."

Cucumber or cream cheese," Tana repeated. "Would it be integrated the same way that my original barbeque flavoring was infused into me?"

"We can do it the normal way if you wish," Jerkah stated, pausing briefly to give him a smirk before continuing on. "But naturally we also have a far more fun means to introduce those additional ingredients as well. For your first tasting however I think we're going to leave you as is so that you can get used to the process."

"It sounds like you're already serving me up on a silver platter," Tana replied with a smirk, only to have it fall slightly when he saw Jerkah looked back at him with one of his own. "Wait, are you serving me up?"

"In a manner of speaking," Jerkah said as he chuckled. "You are not the first one that I've done this process too and as part of my grand opening of this restaurant I wanted to host a private tasting of the dishes that I offer. Obviously you won't be served up to the normal patrons that come here later, I will have converted more in order to fill my kitchens, but you will certainly be quite the attraction with the others to show my new concept."

As Jerkah continued to put on the avocado scales Tana remained quiet for the rest of the application time and thought about what he was being asked to do. Even though he had gone all in on the crocodile's promise that was before it sounded like he would be devoured by others for some grand opening that the nexus creature was having. He knew that should worry him, but after the demonstration he had been given the thought of going through with such a thing was... strangely pleasant actually. He wasn't sure if it was because of the transformation he had just undergone or something that Jerkah had done to him he actually found himself rather excited at the prospect.

Tana heard Jerkah say that he was finished and to have a look, this time being directed to one of the large stainless steel freezers where he could see his reflection. It would be the first time that he actually saw himself fully in basically a mirror. When he slithered up to it his first reaction was to gasp as he looked at himself. As the sushi serpent looked continued to examine himself in awe he also saw Jerkah coming up behind him to admire his own work as well.

With the avocado now in place he might have passed for an actual green snake, Tana thought to himself as he coiled around his own body to feel the texture. He expected his body to be soft like an actual sushi roll and though his new scales were quite pliable it appeared that they were holding firm to his new body and wouldn't be shaken off just by his movement. Just as he was about to ask another question the sushi snake jumped slightly as a jolt of pleasure shot through his body and the looked back to find that Jerkah had taken a rather large bite out of him. The crocodile explained that when consumed in such a fashion instead of just being served up with a knife there was quite a pleasure that came from it, Tana just nodding as he watched the chuck taken out of him quickly sealing back up until the bright green scales finally reconstituted themselves.

Once he saw the ability of his new body the serpent slithered closer to the reflective surface and looked at the one thing that he couldn't inspect fully. While he wasn't sure what his eyes would look like he found that the rice was making up the whites of his eyes while the reptilian pupils were most likely nori. As Tana moved his mouth around he was surprised at how expressive all the tiny scales were; anyone at a distance would probably think that he was just a normal snake creature, though it was rare to get limbless versions of serpents like him it wasn't too rare. There was something about his form though that he couldn't quite put his finger on, an aura that close up made him want to munch on himself a bit as he opened his mouth to see that inside was the black nori that went all the way down into his throat.

Jerkah continued to allow Tana to examine himself for a while before motioning to follow him. The sushi snake immediately followed and was led back towards the zen garden, which was where it appeared the bulk of this grand opening party was going to be as he saw a number of creatures putting up decorations. That was when he also noticed that there were others like himself on the floor; not only did he see liquid creatures like Namazake manning the bar area but there was also several other sushi creatures as well. Those that weren't decorating were the chefs, their focus instead on their hibachi grills as they got actual food ready to serve to customers that were looking for a demonstration.

"Now this isn't going to be the usual normal people that come in like you did Tana," Jerkah explained as they moved over to a table that was clearly utilized for making actual sushi. "These creatures have all been touched by the nexus realm in one way or another, and as such you're not going to have the usual issue of people seeing you as just some snake guy. They're going to know that you're one of my creations and will fawn over you appropriately, and considering how you look I think that you're going to be one of the big hits at this party."

"I am?" Tana asked, suddenly feeling flattered. "I mean, I know I look good... but I bet you say that to everything you make."

Jerkah just gave him a wink and told him to go ahead and explore until the party is started, Tana slithering away as he saw the crocodile starting to make a sushi roll that had the same base as him. No doubt he was going to get a miniaturized version of himself, he thought to himself as he moved dover towards the bar where Namazake was. "Hey, looks like you Jerkah got his claws into you after all," the sake kitsune said as he put a sake bottle in front of him. "Go ahead and drink up, now that you're transformed my own changes can't happen to you anymore, at least not without your and probably Jerkah's permission."

"Thanks," Tana said as he took a drink of the concoction after suctioning his lips to the container and tilting his head back, finding his taste buds were actually more receptive then they were before. "So given what Master Jerkah, er," the sushi snake paused slightly as he heard what he had just called the crocodile, and after several more times of being unable to not say it any differently the kitsune just smirked and told him it would be best to move on with his thought. "It sounds like no one is going to be transforming anyone since they're all already part of the nexus realm?"

"You got it," Namazake replied with a grin. "It's mostly going to be creatures from Lord Athear's realm since we're here, though given that it's sushi there will probably be a number of those from Lord Famjin's realm as well. Who knows, if we're lucky we may even get to see Lord Renzyl, I hear he's quite the sight to behold."

"Only if you prefer rubber or dragons," another voice chimed in as Tana glanced over and saw another living sushi creature like himself had slithered up to the bar, except this one had the head of a dragon and reddish scales that had a slight marbling on them as he looked at Namazake. "Opening is still a few hours away, so I was hoping that I could get a drink before I get nibbled on all night."

Namazake nodded and as the liquid creature filled another vessel from his tail the new creature turned his head to look at Tana. "You must be the new guy," he said with a grin. "Name's Kashi, and I'm a-"

"A red dragon roll," Tana said, grinning sheepishly when he realized he interrupted the other male. "Sorry, I knew that there would be others like me at this place but I guess I still wasn't expecting it."

"There is a certain getting used to that happens in this place," Kashi replied, pausing as the container of sake was placed in front of him and he performed a similar move of using his mouth to tilt it back and drink it before setting down the now empty container. "So since we're guessing what the other is I'm going to assume that you are a variant of the green dragon roll? It's nice to see another inside out sushi roll, the ones that are just wrapped in nori are hard to tell what they taste like, but with you I know exactly what I'm biting into just like you do with me I'm sure."

Tana found himself instinctively licking his lips as he nodded, already thinking about the shrimp tempura hidden inside the nori and rice that was covered with scales of what were likely spicy tuna. The two creatures slowly drifted towards one another as they continued to describe what one another would taste like and it wasn't long before the sushi snake could feel himself practically salivating over the thought. Was he really about to chew on another creature, Tana thought to himself as their muzzles leaned closer, and was his new friend about to do the same? When they finally closed the distance between one another however it was a kiss they shared, Tana able to taste the flavors of the red dragon roll while he assumed that Kashi was able to do the same.

They continued like that for a while before there was a clearing of the throat by the creature that was watching them, Namazake insinuating that perhaps they should take their amorous display of affection to one of the more private rooms. At that point Tana hadn't even thought about going any further, but as the two stopped and the dragon sushi creature motioned to follow he found himself intrigued once more. The two thanked the sake kitsune for the drink and both of them slithered over towards the room that was mentioned to them. As they moved towards it Tana couldn't help but take in the sight of the other creature, noting that he moved somewhat similar to him in nature like a snake considering his limbless nature.

Once the two of them had gotten into one of the nearby rooms, which turned out to be some sort of meditation area complete with water features and a few pillows to sit on, Tana decided to let the more experienced male take the lead. It was clear Kashi had been in this state for much longer then him as he quickly wrapped his body around the snake, their scales sending ripples of pleasure throughout their forms. "So I know a few little tricks since I was one of the first creatures that Jerkah had changed, in fact I figured out one or two things that I don't even think the crocodile knows. But that can come in a little bit... for now I want to ease you into things with some good old fashioned coiling."

Tana responded by kissing him on the lips, tasting the spicy tuna first before once more going deeper and sampling the tempura shrimp underneath. They continued to make out now, completely unimpeded by any nosy kitsune, before Kashi stopped them. The sushi snake watched as the sushi dragon slid his body down and tightened his coils, the result being not only his own movement but shifted Tana into place as well. It was clear what the dragon was going for as the snake felt something sliding up against his avocado scales before he could shift his body to see what it was.

Though Tana's eyes continued to stare at the blade he found himself nodding after swallowing hard, watching Kashi skillfully picking up the sword once more.
