Another lovely story concept that was voted on by my patreon people back in March, an archeologist finds a hidden chamber!

If you like what I do here please consider supporting me on the patreon! We could definitely use a lot of help when it comes to funding things like book covers, comics, and game graphics and a little bit goes a long way! Not only do you support me and my projects but there are also plenty of rewards that you can sign up for as well!http://www.patreon.com/Serathin

The hot desert air that had been plaguing the archeologists ever since they had started the dig became a distant memory as they ventured further into the tunnel they had unearthed. A tomb that had been lost to the sands of time had only recently been uncovered by a combination of fortunate weather phenomenon and a spy satellite that had been in an even more fortunate position. The result was the discovery of a building that the inside of hadn't seen the light of day for thousands of years. There were a number of subsequent digs and searches that had gone on in the area had turned up not much more then sandstone and a few fragments of hieroglyphics.

For Milton this was his second time going into the ruins and the first time finding a new passageway, though it hadn't been their team that had uncovered it he was one of the researchers responsible for the discovery. He had fought to be on the initial discovery team too but was denied, and it was only because he had put up his own money for the second expedition that he was able to go since the first one also came up with nothing. As he continued down into the hallway the funds that he had put up for the trip had already been worth it. He was standing in pure history and the mere thought of it got him excited as he made his way down.

Part of him wished that he had a crew with him in order to catalogue anything he might be find, but that also would have come out of his wallet and he could hardly afford the trip itself. Plus they had already said he wasn't going to find anything and that he would be wasting his time. After the first day it appeared that they might have been true as he continued to try to find something of worth in the sandstone passageway. Since he didn't have any means of excavation or a survey team he couldn't attempt to find another place to get into the tomb or whatever this might be.

When he looked at his watch he found that it was already dark outside, though it was hard to tell being so far into the structure where electric lights were the only source of light. There was a curfew in place where they wanted anyone in the excavation sight to leave so they could protect the place from grave robbers. Since there wasn't anything worth stealing it was unlikely that they needed such security but it was part of protocol anyway. He hadn't realized how much time had passed and he knew that if he didn't start heading back soon he was going to get in a lot of trouble for staying behind after hours.

Just as he had decided to head back he got the urge to take just a few more minutes and go to the end of the line. The line was a rope that allowed anyone inside to easily get back to the entrance of the building without getting lost since some of the passages twisted around and double-backed on one another. That line went all the way to the furthest point in the structure, which ended in a dead end where the other archeologists had surmised that those building the place had run out of time or materials to finish it. There was also the possibility that the civilization had gotten wiped out before it had a chance but there was very little history in the area which made it hard to figure out what this building even was in the first place.

Just as he got down to the final hallway Milton stopped dead in his tracks and almost dropped his flashlight. At the end of the string he had been following was not the dead end of mason blocks that had been recorded in the previous explorer's logs; instead what he found was a door that looked like it was made out of solid gold and had etchings on it of ancient Egyptian deities. With the rope ending only a few feet away from it there was no way that they could have missed something like this, Milton thought to himself as he got closer, and for a second he wondered if he was having some sort of hallucination. Fearing dehydration he took out his canteen he had been drinking from all day and took a big swig, but after a few minutes the door remained there as shining as ever.

"How could this be..." Milton muttered to himself as his curiosity pushed him to move forward and examine the strange structure. "A strange golden door in the middle of an otherwise plain Egyptian tomb... even without what would have been the massive oversight there hasn't been anything like this in other digs." Though his mind came to one conclusion he attempted to dissuade himself from speaking out loud, though with no one else there to hear him it came tumbling from his lips anyway. "Is this some sort of... magic at work?"

When he looked down at his watch he saw that he was long past the time he was supposed to be out of the dig site, which meant that he was going to be in trouble regardless of what time he finally poked his head out. His other option was to stay the entire night here and hope no one would check up on him, which meant that it would give him more than ample time to study whatever it was he happened to have stumbled upon. And if he was having some sort of medical emergency it was likely too late to save himself anyway, at least that's what he tried to tell himself as he found his hand reaching out to grab the handle of the door. An almost electric tingle went through his entire body as he felt the cool metal press against his skin before he pulled on it.

To Milton's surprise the door swung open quite easily, revealing a huge chamber within. He could feel his eyes widening as he saw that despite likely being the first person inside this part of the tomb for thousands of years there were still torches lit along the columns. In between the spaces there were a number of items that he had only seen in museums before and he realized that he had stumbled into some sort of ritual preparation chamber for mummification or something of that nature. What really caught his eye however was a gleaming golden set of scales that sat on the other side of the room.

Though he didn't know what hazards or pitfalls were there, most tombs and crypts more likely to have potentially deadly dust or structural problems instead of booby traps or anything one might see in movies, he found himself walking inside anyway to investigate the artifact. Still... between the doors, the torches, and artifacts, and the fact that none of this was found by anyone else gave him an uneasy feeling in his stomach. When he looked over the scale that sat on the pedestal with hieroglyphics around it he saw that this was clearly some sort of alter to Anubis, mumbling his findings to himself as his fingers moved to a small pile of dust that was tipping the scale slightly unevenly.

"I wouldn't touch that if I was you."

The sound of another voice besides his own had caused Milton's heart to nearly jump into his throat, the human collapsing to his knees from the fright of it. He would have gone down further but he felt a pair of hands hook underneath his armpits and hoisted him back up. When he had gotten back to his feet he was also spun around to find that there was a humanoid creature behind him, though his body type was the only thing that was similar to his own and even that was a stretch in his mind as he looked up and down the muscular physique of the other male. The ebon skin of the one that stood before him glistened unnaturally and it reminded Milton of someone wearing a rubber bodysuit.

"Wh-who... who are you?" Milton managed to stammer as he looked at the canine head of the creature in front of him, which also shined like it was a latex hood except that it was far too animated to be one. "I... wait... no, it can't be... you can't be... A-Anu... Anub..."

"If you think that I am Anubis then I am rather flattered," the creature said, grinning coyly at the perplexed human as he watched Milton's mouth continue to move up and down. "I am not the god you seek however, in fact the reason you can not find his influence anymore is the entire reason that this chamber is here in the first place. But this story is rather long-winded, so why don't we have a place to sit while I tell you my tail.

The rubber jackal creature, who introduced himself as Anpu, guided him over to a set of pillows that were remarkably well preserved and once they were settled in he began to weave the tale of the origins of this place. Much to Milton's surprise he first exclaimed that the Egyptian gods were very much real and they had very important tasks, but due to the infighting amongst them and invading nations that desired to remove them from power to subjugate the land they were eventually wiped out. But before they were killed Anubis had the foresight to ensure their return and created this place in between the realms of life and death in order to make sure that someone would eventually herald their return. Once this space had been created Anpu was tasked to be the keeper of the ritual should someone one day find this place and wish to take on the mantle of the gods.

By the end of the story Milton found himself sitting there fascinated, knowing that his jaw was hanging open during much of the explanation and not caring. "Remarkable..." he said as he looked around once more. "Had I not found myself sitting opposite a jackal made out of rubber in a chamber that hadn't been discovered despite it's immense proportions I would have said that it sounded like a load of rubbish. I have so many questions that I want to ask you... but I suppose the more important one at the moment is that you said that you are keeper of a ritual that can bring back Anubis, are you trying to resurrect him?"

"More like... replace," Anpu stated simply. "The one known as Anubis originally is long since dead and completed his journey to the afterlife. My job is to find someone that will step into his shoes and continue the work of the jackal... someone with a pure heart and a virtuous soul that I could lead here and persuade to take his role."

Milton found himself nodding slightly before he stopped, his brain processing the words it had just heard as he looked back at the jackal creature. "Wait, you aren't possibly saying..." he said, the jackal nodding as he pointed to himself. "I think that you must be mistaken, I would classify my life more as boring then virtuous. The reason I didn't have time to get myself into trouble is I've spent most of my life pursuing knowledge in libraries and tombs and ancient mausoleums!"

"A life spent studying death," Anpu shot back as his grin grew once more. "Sounds like you've already got some of the qualifications for the job. But my job is to merely lead the horse to the river, so you can decide whether or not you wish to return to the land of the living and continue your life is or to go through the ritual and take the seat of an ancient deity."

As the rubber jackal stood up to give the archeologist some space Milton couldn't help but find himself shivering slightly at the proposition. There were many that would probably have jumped at the opportunity to get the mantle of Anubis, but he definitely was not one of them. Yet he had felt drawn to this place... perhaps his own mind knew what was happening and wanted to bring him here to do exactly that? He definitely couldn't dismiss the fact that magic existed anymore and becoming a god was merely just the next step in that line of thinking, but as he felt the minutes tick by he couldn't find himself coming to a conclusion.

In order to help his process he asked the rubber jackal what the process entailed, but the other creature just shook his head and said that until one decided to undergo the journey they would not be able to see the path in front of them. Even without his help though Milton could guess that there was some sort of mummification component involved, especially when he saw the shiny jackal sarcophagus that laid in one corner of the room. When he asked Anpu why rubber was such a prevalent theme the other male told him that rubber was one of the symbols of immortality and thus the gods had adopted themselves to its use in order to signify they were the same. Those chosen to be the envoys of those gods were given similar forms as the jackal gestured to himself.

"Alright, let's say I get involved," Milton said hypothetically. "What would it entail?"

"You would judge the dead much like the stories said," Anpu replied simply. "There is quite a backlog in purgatory right now awaiting their judgment. There are also a few other powers that you would have as Anubis but that would take too long to explain at the moment, the main one you already know about and that should be enough for you to base your decision on."

It appeared at that point that Milton had reached the edge of the cliff; either he was going to jump off and become the old god Anubis or he would walk right out those doors and continue his life studying the civilization he had a chance to be a part of. In the end he once more got the attention of the jackal and said that he would do it, explaining his desire to become a part of history rather than just studying it. The ecstatic look on the rubber creature's face was clearly seen as he led him over to one of the mummification prep areas where he slid open a stone door at the base and began to take tools out. As he did so he instructed Milton to get naked and lie down, something that caused him to pause as he rubbed his own arms.

When there was a moment of hesitation Anpu looked up and sensed that the human was not complying, his smile turning downwards slightly as he asked what was wrong. "Oh, it's just..." Milton said as he continued to stand there nervously. "While I had guessed that some sort of mummification was part of the process I didn't realize it would be a literal thing I was going through."

"Relax," Anpu replied as he took several rolls of a shiny black material and put them on the nearby pedestal. "It's just part of the ritual and I assure you that no harm will come to you from it, although your mortal flesh will be subsumed as you walk the path of death to the realm of Anubis." Milton's eyes widen slightly at the mention of getting killed and it caused the jackal to scoff slightly. "He is the god of the underworld, did you think that you were going to be just a living human male lounging around there judging souls while in your undergarments?"

Surprisingly to Milton the jackal did make a good point, and though he understood he still felt a little uneasy taking of his close. In his second shock in as many minutes Anpu sighed slightly and said that he would help his new master disrobe and before the human could say otherwise he found a set of cool rubber hands gracefully taking off his clothing. The speed for which the other male was able to do so was astounding as he found himself half naked before his brain could even process the request, shivering slightly as his skinny frame was revealed. He could hear the jackal say that there was going to be some room for improvement, especially when he ripped down his pants and revealed his rather small maleness underneath.

Once Anpu had gotten the human naked in record speed Milton found those shiny smooth hands weren't done with his body yet, sliding around his bare flesh and giving him a rather through examination before lifting him up with surprising strength and setting him down on the table. The cold stone pressed against his naked flesh caused him to shiver as he was instructed to lie down flat and to avoid moving. When he was in a position acceptable to Anpu he went back to the pedestal with the tools and grabbed a jug, tipping it and pouring the shiny black liquid into a bowl before adding other items to it like oils and spices. Once it was full he saw the jackal slowly lift it up over his body and chant something in a language that might have been ancient Egyptian before he tipped the contents out.

The second the liquid latex hit his chest it caused Milton to recoil, jumping slightly as it was poured on the middle of his chest before going up and down his body. At first Anpu kept to his chest and stomach, his arms being crossed over it meant they were coated too, then carefully poured a thick layer over his legs before finally ending at his head. He found himself closing his eyes as it was dumped on him and covered nearly his entire face. When the thick substance was done oozing over his form he opened his eyes just in time to take a large painter's brush and spread it over his body.

Milton began to tremble as whatever concoction was in it began to cure immediately, feeling it tingle against his bare flesh and cause tremors of what he could only describe as pleasure course through his system. Though the rubber allowed his arousal to cause his member to rise he found he could move little else as he wiggled his body to find it stuck together. The substance that had been poured against his pressed together legs yielded only a slight stretch as he attempted to raise his arms to the same effect. When he tried to ask Anpu what was going on he found to his shock that even his lips had been stuck together, leaving only his eyes open as he was tipped to the side and felt more of the rubber being spread around his back.

Once he was completely and thoroughly coated the rubber had completely encased him, leaving him looking like a featureless humanoid statue that the winds and time had eroded most of the features off of. Had his eyes not remained open he probably could easily find a home as part of a display whenever he didn't move, especially when Egyptian symbols and patterns were painted on the tight rubber coating. The entire time Anpu continued to mutter out words that gradually Milton started to understand more and more, though his focus was more on the intense tingling that was suffusing throughout his entire body. Whatever magic was in that liquid rubber had started to seep into every aspect of his body as he managed to look over to see the jackal start to wrap up his legs in the latex straps.

Transform this mortal form to the flesh of the gods... Anpu had repeated that several times as he quickly and expertly wrapped up his legs. Even if he could have moved his legs before Milton could see that wouldn't be the case anymore as the rubber tightly bound him. The jackal worked quickly crawling up his body, pausing only when he got to the rubber cock of the male, even his chants pausing as he pressed a palm against it and rubbed the dimunitive member. The explosion of pleasure Milton felt had him squirming against the thighs of the jackal as he carefully wrapped the bindings around it so that it remained exposed as he moved on.

Give this human the strength to judge the dead... Milton felt his body quiver slightly as something had begun to happen to his form underneath the bandages. As Anpu got to his chest he could see the normally stick-like arms that were stuck to his chest starting to swell, filling with ancient power before they were covered with the wrappings up to his neck and stopped just as he got to his face. "I can not wait to see you on the other side," Anpu said breathily as he gently cupped the rubber-covered cheek of the human's face. "My lord Anubis..."

Ths muzzle suddenly went in for a kiss that surprised Milton, though with his own lusts rising he cared little about the origin of it as he found his hips bucking upwards. The contact only lasted for a few seconds though and soon the mummification continued, leaving only his eyes able to see before the jackal finished by fusing the last strip to the bald head of the male. Even without needing to see Milton could picture what he looked like, his body completely hidden underneath the shiny black material. He always did want to know what it might have felt like, he thought to himself as his body was lifted up, and even though it had thankfully skipped a few steps the sight of his own bound form was surreal as he was brought to the jackal sarcophagus in the corner and set down inside.

"Let this be the resting place of the human that has sacrificed his earthly form to wear the mantle of the gods," Anpu once more said as he disappeared out of sight for a second, only to reappear with a huge clay jug. "And with the essence of Anubis let this blessed vessel become the place of his rebirth."

Once more black liquid rubber was poured onto Milton, to the point where it had begun to fill the sarcophagus as he continued to wiggle. Aside from the sensations of his physical form starting to shift he could also feel something else welling up inside of him, a feeling of power that was multiplied as he felt the liquid start to press against him. Underneath the bandages his fingers shifted and wiggled as they grew in length, fingernails turning to claws as his physique grew. By the time the last of the liquid was poured in and he was almost completely submerged he could feel other things growing as well, namely his feet that were visibly quivering while they stretched and his cock that had started to grow past the erect length.

"Yes..." Anpu hissed as he tossed the jug inside and hopped in, ripping his own loincloth away and exposing his own rubber cock. "The ritual is completing, soon Anubis will walk the Earth once more! Let me aid you just like I had done centuries before!"

It quickly became clear what that aid was as the other male quickly pushed himself down on Milton's cock, which had grown past its tiny state and now was almost four inches long while still growing. Up until this point in his life the archeologist hadn't even thought about sex, but he didn't expect his first time to be with a rubber jackal in a sarcophagus while transforming into an ancient deity. Yet as his chest and abs surged with growth and he felt his length going deeper into the other male the pleasure was so intoxicating that he certainly didn't mind it. Once more he began to make noises, but instead of the whimpers and grunts that had been coming before it was loud, deep groans with a hint of a growl to it.

Whether the ritual was done or not was unclear, what was for certain was that Anpu was focused on only one thing as he began to slide his hips up and down while the liquid rubber sloshed around them. With his body completely mummified there was nothing that Milton could do but let it happen, save for occasionally bucking up his hips as he continued to grow. Though it was hard to tell he knew he was stretching the synthetic insides of the male from his still growing-maleness, just like his own face was starting to push out the bandages wrapped around his head in a growing lump. Though he couldn't see him the biggest change happening were his eyes, tendrils of gold spreading over the whites as his mind began to fill with alien knowledge.

Just as they were starting to get close to a rhythm however Anpu stopped, resting back with the nine inch member inside of him while he caressed the area of Milton's skull where bumps had begun to form on the sides. "As much as I would like to finish..." he said as he slowly got up, both males groaning as the smooth black rubber cock slid out of the equally shiny tailhole. "To do so now would to take a measure of your strength, and I'm afraid that we must leave that for now."

All Milton could do was thrash and growl as the ritual took root in every aspect of him, his transformation boiling to the forefront of his mind as the stimulation that had been keeping him distracted was no longer there. As the jackal pulled himself out and the sarcophagus came to a close his body grew even further, his new muscles practically straining the wrappings as the light from the room disappeared. He could hear Anpu saying something else but it was nothing compared to his own internal monologue shifting, adopting a more dominant, powerful tone as his groans became louder. As the last of the lid closed the servant of Anubis could see a glowing glint to the eyes of the former human before it sealed shut completely...

Though time held little meaning in that room it still felt like ages as Anpu waited for the sarcophagus to open again. Despite believing that he had performed the ritual perfectly he knew that unlike his creator he was not a divine being, which meant that he could have screwed it up. The thought of having failed tore at his mind and the longer that he waited and stared the more that sinking feeling deepened. Part of him wanted to open it himself and check, but he knew for a fact that would be devastating to the ritual and instead he prepared himself as though it had succeeded.

Just as he finished gathering the last items in place Anpu heard something moving, the jackal's head snapping over to the corner just in time to see the heavy lid being slid back. His tail began to wag as he saw a shiny black hand reach out, gold accents glinting in the light of the room, before the rest of the body followed. As the last remnants of the liquid dripped from his body the creature shook it off along with the remnants of the mummification bindings it had broken through. Once it had done so the new being slid the cover the rest of the way and stepped out as though for the first time.

It was Anubis... though the creature known as Milton was still there he had become something new, a creature fit to judge the dead as his powerful, muscular physique matched the divine essence contained within. The gold symbols and designs that Anpu had put on before were still there, now integrated with the skin of the god as his large, heavy latex foot paws pressed against the stone for the first time in ages. As the servant slowly moved forward, wanting to give the reborn deity some space, he couldn't help but stare at the hefty black and gold latex shaft swinging between his legs as he made his way directly over towards the scale.

When the new rubber jackal made his way over to the scales Anpu suddenly was concerned when it looked like the deity was going to be sick, especially as he stumbled forward and eventually braced himself against he wall with his head hanging over the scales. At first he thought that he might have actually done the ritual wrong, but as the mouth of Anubis began to glow with a blue light he realized what was happening. The ritual hadn't been quite complete yet... but it was about to be as Anubis coughed hard several times. The last heave brought out what he had been choking on, the remains of his mortal soul that drifted towards the empty side of the scale as a ball of blue light before it transformed when it touched the gold.

"Perfectly balanced..." Anpu whispered as he watched the new feather tip the scale slightly until the two sides were even. Once Anubis had recovered his golden eyes looked at the other side of the scale and gently blew the dust away, which turned into sparkles that lit up the air before dying out. "Rest in peace, your replacement has finally come to continue your work."

There was a snap of the fingers from the new Anubis and Anpu quickly sprang into action, running up to the naked male and putting on the garments he had prepared. He started with the gold gauntlets around his meaty forearms, then a pair of bands around his biceps before moving down and doing the same for his shins and thighs. "Ah ah ah," Anubis quickly said with a smirk as he stopped the servant from putting the belt and loincloth around him, pressing his huge pawpad against the face of Anpu and gently pinning him to the pedestal. "You have some unfinished business before you put that on, my loyal servant, start here and work your way up."

A beaming smile graced the muzzle of Anpu as he quickly stuck his tongue between the wiggling digits, his only other thoughts besides pleasuring the new god was that now that Anubis was reborn it would allow the other rituals of the gods to be preformed far more expediently...
