The Tournament of Change - Chapter Nine, Trigger Discipline
#9 of Tournament of Change Adventure One
The team heads towards a pitfall trap they suspect might be an entrance to an underground portion of the Tournament, and manages to have a fairly uneventful day of travel getting there. Unfortunately, a slip of the tongue from Ciera causes some difficulty for everyone...
The morning after Chester and Ciera's return was more than a little awkward, each member of the team dealing with their own unique problems. They all seemed to be avoid each other, trying to perform their mundane tasks while breaking camp with as little interaction as possible. It was only once they were forced to meet up together to eat and plan for the day that they spoke to each other.
"So, we're going to be on the lookout for passageways underground?" Karla said, fidgeting slightly as she adjusted her clothes every once in a while.
"Yes," Chester replied, eyeing her suspiciously, "I've seen a number of 'traps' that were some variation of pitfall, or cave entrances that were set to collapse. I just assumed they were obvious traps for the unaware, but now I'm thinking that's the only way to get to this 'underground' portion of the Tournament grounds..."
"Karla..." Vivian said, narrowing her eyes, "You seem a little uncomfortable. Could it be because you've grown probably a cup size and a half?"
Karla's eyes shot up and looked at Vivian in shock, blushing as she was called out. "M-maybe, it's not that much, I mean, haha..."
"Karla. I told you, if this is going to be a problem, we should-"
"It's_all_ going to be a problem Vivian. We can't magic it all away and pretend nothing is happening," Chester interrupted. "Our best bet is just to focus on winning. Karla can deal with her bigger bust, it's her problem. She'll figure out how to deal with it when it starts to really be a problem, and if she can't,then we'll deal with it."
"I just think it's irresponsible to let things get any worse. If you let me, I could help!"
"The same way you helped last time?" Ciera replied.
"Yes, in fact!" Vivian said, before taking a deep breath and calming down a little. "That being said, I suppose Chester has a point. Even though I feel we should deal with our _many_problems now...perhaps now is not the time. You will all, hopefully, be more willing if and when things get worse. And if they don't...well, that's a good outcome too."
Karla tried to ignore the ongoing conversation, and focus on her meal. In truth, she had been anxious about them realizing her growing problem...so she felt a little relieved that it was over and done with. She was, she was finding, actually quite happy with the increased size. Despite the poor fit of her clothes now. Maybe Ciera could help, she did know some spells to fix clothing, perhaps she could do something to adjust it as well...
Chester spoke up once more, saying "All that matters is that we head underground. I don't want to trust Leila, but I truly believe she intends to keep us around. We just have to hope that whatever we find down there is worth whatever trap we might have to willingly step into."
"Karla...I need to be milked..." Ciera said, blushing slightly.
"Right, of course. Let's go take care of that!" Karla said, barely hiding her excitement.
The groups schedule for dealing with Ciera's milking had already become somewhat natural, and with Vivian now taking care of her own needs as well, just about everyone seemed a little more satisfied afterwards, except Chester. Chester was dealing with her growing arousal, which she knew was not going to improve, not without her little...secret...becoming known. Last night she thought it was bad, but she was learning that it could always get worse. She found herself staring at her companions more and more, her thoughts running wild with what she could do to them...or what they might do to her...
"Chester, you have an idea of where we're going?" Karla asked, perhaps noticing her distant expression.
"Yes, of course. We're actually going to loop back slightly, there was a pretty obvious pitfall trap in the forest we just left. It doesn't have spikes or anything, just a long drop. Since actual injury is impossible, should be safe to drop in. I assume it will have some kind of tournament-appropriate trap at the end, or something like that, but we'll be prepared."
"Good, good...Um, everything okay with you? You seem a little...well, not to throw the word back in your face, but distracted."
"I'm fine. We'll travel together, I don't need to scout ahead since I already know the area decently. The Tournament grounds shift occasionally, but some basic landmarks do stay the same. It shouldn't be a problem to find it. It will take maybe a day or so, we'll probably camp near the pitfall trap and then step in when morning comes."
"Alright, sounds like a plan! Let's get everyone together and get started!"
Trekking across the Tournament grounds, now heading _away_from the center for the first time, the group was trying their best to enjoy the brief break from the last few hectic days. Chester still seemed ill at ease, but Karla and Vivian simply believed it to be a reaction to her new shape. Each of them had been aware, from the beginning, that it was likely they would experience some...unique things. Only Ciera knew just how unique Chester's recent experiences had been.
During the day's travels, Ciera made a point to speak with Chester, despite her apprehension about her recently realized problem regarding Chester's name. She spoke with her privately, hanging back a little as Vivian and Karla spoke with each other up ahead about more mundane things.
"So...how are you holding up? I mean, you're going to have to...you know..."
"It's fine. I'll manage. Maybe tonight I'll make some excuse, go off into the woods and, I don't know, figure something out."
"How does it...how does it work? If you do that, are you sure you wouldn't find your way back? Leila made it sound like-"
"I don't know! I'm not really...sure how it works. It feels like being a different person almost. There's still...I mean, I don't think I'd do anything directly harmful to me or any of you. It's still me. I just...don't know what I'll do. Don't worry about it."
"Hard for me not to, um, you. I mean, worry about you." Ciera said, tripping over her words as she tried to avoid saying Chester's name.
Chester gave her an odd look, and then said "Ciera...you don't feel any different right? Leila had us under for hours, and I know...I mean I know she did more than just twiddle her thumbs."
"There's some...well...how about we just not think too hard about it. For all we know the moment we try to think back too much, she'll have set it up so that something _happens_to us."
Chester frowned, with a concerned look. "That does sound like her..."
With that, the two of them caught back up to their companions, trying not to look too worried.
They were all thankful for the uneventful day, and when they arrived at the fairly conspicuous pitfall trap, everyone was relieved that they hadn't encountered anything dangerous on the way. Setting up tents was almost a cathartic experience, each of them happy to have some semblance of normalcy.
Of course, things were not quite normal, and eventually when things were set up Ciera had to ask, once more, for help with her milk problem.
"Of course! Let me finish up, and then I'll-" Karla started, her eyes gleaming in anticipation.
"No, Karla, I think that's a bad idea. This close to the afternoon...you've been a little impressionable. You should be focused on making sure your own problem doesn't get any worse. I can't help you either, Ciera, so you'll have to ask Chester."
Ciera frowned slightly, but didn't have much of a choice. Chester looked up from setting up her tent, and said "It's fine, Ciera. Not like I don't have some experience in that department now...give me just a minute, I'll meet you in your tent."
Ciera did so, while Chester tried to focus on finishing her more mundane task. It was difficult, her arousal was making it hard to stay on task. Arousal wasn't even really the right word, it was this _need_that she felt, deep and unfulfilled, and it kept pushing her thoughts in the wrong direction. Even now, a part of her was looking forward to her time with Ciera...maybe she could convince Ciera to...
No. Stay focused. Finish setting up the tent, help Ciera, sleep, then into the pit tomorrow. Nothing else mattered.
As she finished, she took a deep breath, preparing herself, and then stepped into Ciera's tent.
"I'm sorry to make you do this again, I'm sure you're not happy about it..." Ciera said, clearly nervous.
"Not the first time, and now probably won't be the last. Let's just...try to hurry." Chester said, pulling over a bucket. Ciera had a few empty buckets nearby, Chester noted with a curious look. Perhaps this was one way she was trying to adjust.
"Okay, I'll undress...Um, there is something we should talk about. I wasn't sure I should bring it up, but...well...I think I know something Leila did to me..."
Chester's heart skipped a beat for a moment. Did she know she had a trigger now too? Perhaps Leila had left some kind of hint inside her mind? "So, you know then? About the trigger?"
"Uh, you could call it that, I guess. It only happens when I say your name..."
Her name? That wasn't the trigger that she knew now, sitting quietly in the back of her mind. This must be something else..."Oh...is it...is it a problem?" Chester replied.
"W-well, not really. If I say your name, it uh, it comes out differently. In a bad way. I've been making sure I don't say your name at all, thankfully! It's just, um, you deserve to be warned. If I mess up, it will...it would be a problem for you..."
Chester looked up at Ciera, briefly confused, before she started to realize what Ciera meant. "You mean...I think I understand. So, if you try and say my name...you call me something else? Something that would...cause problems? That's frightening, honestly. Leila is_dangerous_."
"Yes, but, now that we know it's not a problem, right? I'll just be careful! Now, please, let's hurry and take care of this, I can't afford to be any...well...milkier."
Chester nodded, and got to work. She tried to be as impersonal as possible, hoping that this would make Ciera feel a little better about the situation, but if anything Ciera seemed to lost in the sensation of being milked to care. Her mooing was quiet, at least, but it was mixed with moans, repeating words and phrases like it was all she could think.
"Oh, thank you...thank you so much...thank you...Mooo....thank you...keep going, please...thank you..."
Chester couldn't help but feel like it was almost...cute. Practically innocent, except for the breathy way in which she was moaning those words. It did bring a bit of a smile to her face, as she listened to Ciera enjoying herself...
"Thank you...it's so nice to be milked, so much relief, thank you...thank you slutty puppy..." she said, so lost in pleasure that she almost didn't realize what she had said, until her eyes shot wide open a moment or two later. "Oh, oh no! Slutty puppy, I mean, slutty-No, I mean, you! Are you okay? I'm so sorry!"
Chester had barely moved since those words had been spoken, her breathing getting noticeably faster as she seemed to stare off into the distance for a moment. Then she blinked, her face looking up at Ciera's, with a wildly different look in her eyes. "Just fine, thank you, just fine! You know, it's a good thing you made this little mistake, I was so_pent up, I would have been basically target practice if we had gotten into a real fight! Now, I can be _satisfied, finally...Now, cutie, what are you and I going to do? I have something in mind, actually..." she said, grinning at Ciera.
Ciera was stunned, and couldn't think of what to do. She didn't want to reveal Chester's problem, but she was seriously concerned that she had lost control of the situation. Eventually, she settled on calling for help. "Vivian! Karla! We have an issue, please, help me restrain Chester!"
Chester actually seemed to smile at this, replying "Ooooh, restrain? I think I'd be down for that, what are you planning on doing after? Once you have me bound up, unable to resist..."
Ciera was about to attempt a spell, when Karla charged in, grabbing Chester by the arms and pinning her to the ground, saying "Hah! Got you, you have no idea how nice it is to finally get to do that. Now, what the hell is happening, Ciera?"
"Um, Leila set a-"
"Our lovely little serpentine Mistress left me with a pleasant reminder of our time together. All you have to do is call me what I really_am, a slutty puppy, and I'll be ready to _play!"
Karla seemed to pass through several stages of shock, listening to Chester talk like that, before shaking her head and glancing over at Ciera. "Is that...is that true? Is she dangerous like this?"
"I mean, not exactly dangerous, just um...well, she gets a little forceful, and a little single-minded, about...you know..."
Karla sighed, her adrenaline wearing off as she looked at Chester. Vivian then stepped in, saying "I heard most of that, I think. This is a problem. Chester...that's still you in there, right?"
"Still me, you beautiful temptress! Now, is this all foreplay, or..."
Vivian sighed. "This would almost be amusing, if it wasn't also _very_concerning. Chester...can we trust you not to run or try anything if Karla releases you?"
"Who says I want her to release me? Having her this close is kind of nice, actually! Your fur is so soft, Karla, and you're surprisingly gentle, I wouldn't mind if you were a little rougher..."
"Let her go, Karla. She's not a threat, we need to figure out what we're going to do about this."
Karla hesitated a moment, before releasing her hold on Chester's arms. Both her and Chester then stood up, with Chester grinning as she eyed her three companions.
"How do we undo this? Ciera?"
"Um, well...she has to-"
"Let me answer, Ciera! I'm very_capable of saying it all by myself. I'm always a _slutty puppy, but sometimes I get to really let loose! If I don't get to let loose, I get hornier and hornier, my need growing and growing until I finally _have_to give in and reveal my true nature! When someone says the magic words, I get to come out to play regardless of how I'm feeling! I'll go back when I've gotten to _satisfy_myself!"
"I swear, that lamia..." Karla said, fuming a little as she listened.
"So, you need to...well, no reason to beat around the bush. You need to orgasm?" Vivian said.
"No, I need to be satisfied. I need to be treated like the slutty puppy I am! Maybe you could put me on a leash, I'm sure that would-"
"That's enough, thank you. So, not quite that simple. I had no idea you were such a degenerate, Chester." Vivian said, giving a halfhearted chuckle. "Just another problem to deal with, throw it on the pile..."
"Hey, not like the rest of you are really any better! I mean, just watch!" Chester said, before turning to face Karla, and quickly removing her top. She smiled as Karla's eyes went wide, riveted to her breasts, as she gave them a slight shake.
"Stop that, Chester!" Vivian said, quickly stepping over to Karla and firmly grabbing her shoulders and facing her away. It took a few moments for Karla to get the idea that she shouldn't be looking, before she started to come back to her senses and kept her focus on the entrance to the tent, so as not to be distracted again.
"See? Oh, and Ciera over here has an even _bigger_problem. You want to know what it is?" Chester said, grinning.
"We know about her problem, Chester, just sit down while we figure things out." Vivian replied, beginning to lose her temper with the chaos that had erupted.
"Do you, though? I think you think I'm talking about her milk_problem, but I'm not! Hey, Ciera...who's a _good cow?"
Ciera looked at Chester for a moment, confused, before her eyes unfocused a little bit. "I'm...I'm a good cow..."
Vivian chose this moment to usher Karla out of the room, saying "Stand guard outside, this may be trouble."
"Ciera...if you're a good cow, do you want to be milked?"
"Yes...I want to be milked, because I'm a good cow."
"Then get on over here, Ciera! Hey, Vivian...how about you just step outside as well! We'll take care of each other in here, and you and Karla can protect your precious sensibilities out there!"
Vivian sneered, but at the moment it wasn't the worst plan. They would need to speak when both Ciera and Chester were back to normal, and it seemed Chester was the one most capable of making that happen...even if she was not to be trusted at the moment. "Fine, we'll be outside. We'll be listening, so don't try anything dangerous."
"Listening? Kinky, I'm always happy to have an audience!"
With that, Vivian stepped outside, trying to get her thoughts straight.
"So, Ciera...how about a repeat of last time? A good bit of nursing for you, a good bit of tongue from me, but this time...this time we'll have a bit more fun with it. Does a good cow do whatever she's asked to, in order to be milked?"
"Yes...yes a good cow does!" Ciera replied, smiling with a blank look on her face.
"Good...this should be interesting!"
Vivian and Karla were outside, Vivian fidgeting a little as Chester and Ciera continued their fun in the tent behind them.
"You could go into your tent, Vivian, I can keep an eye on things here..."
"N-no, frankly I can't...can't really trust you to make your own mmf...your own problem a bit worse."
"Honestly, Vivian, watching you isn't helping either..."
"Then look away! I can't help...oh, god...I can't help it. Ciera is very...she's definitely enjoying herself in there..."
"Again, not helping, Vivian! Ugh, this has all gotten so complicated. Everyone and their problems. You realize if we lose this we're all_stuck_ like this right? I hear the Tournament organizers actually charge_you to remove particularly debilitating consequences of fights, sometimes even putting you into debt...We _have to win!"
"Don't have to tell me...twice. I - Ah!...I want to win as much as anyone. Lying is a fairly necessary part of my business strategy..."
"Wait, really?" Karla asked, narrowing her eyes.
"Don't look at me like that, I...mmf...I have_to tell the truth now, remember. Sometimes things slip out. Yes, I do tend to deceive my clients a little...people don't really have a good idea of what they want most of the time. They come in, asking for help with approaching a girl they like, or asking for the confidence to make some decision in their life...and I get them under, enchanting them with my music, and ask them what they _really want. And that's what I give them. I've had many upset customers, but never a dissatisfied customer. No one has ever asked for a refund..."
"Well, those would have been _great_details to know _before_hiring you for the team, but still...I get it, I guess. Do you really think that...that Chester is like this? I mean, is this just some trick, or is this somehow really what she's like underneath all the stuffiness?"
"Hard to say...lamias are incredibly powerful, when it comes to twisting minds. It is possible for them to implant a new personality in someone, but that takes a great deal of power and time. The seed of whatever Chester is under the influence of this trigger had to be there. Maybe we don't know her as well as we thought."
"I think it has something to do with the Tournament. It's odd, isn't it? She changed, and we all just started calling her 'her' without a second thought. It's like I can't imagine her any other way. I can't imagine _me_any other way. I feel like I should be more worried about this."
"Well, it's not going to...mmf...you know what, let's stop talking, please, I - Ah! I can't pretend like everything is normal, they're really going at it in there..."
Karla didn't say anything, just turned away, blushing. The sounds of Chester and Ciera were impossible to ignore, and Chester herself was pretty clearly deliberately trying to be as loud and wanton as possible, saying things aimed intentionally at Karla and Vivian.
"Fine, I can't take it anymore! I'm going to my tent." Vivian said, standing up with an exasperated sigh. "Will you be okay out here?"
"Yes, I'll be fine..."
"Good, I'll be - Ah!" Vivian moaned, her legs nearly collapsing underneath her for a moment before she regained her composure. "...In my tent..." she finished, breathing heavily. She stood up, walking a little unsteadily, and left Karla by herself.
Karla was adamant about remaining strong willed in the face of this challenge, mostly because she had still not gotten a chance to talk to Ciera about what she could do about Karla's clothing size problem. Karla might have some issues thinking clearly on certain topics, but she was certain she didn't want to be any more uncomfortable than she already was. Or, worse, to somehow ruin her clothes through some kind of wardrobe malfunction. That would be...terrible, she eventually decided. Terrible, yes, not arousing in the least. Absolutely horrid.
So, she tried her hardest to think about anything and everything else, and watched the horizon with her perceptive, catlike eyes. She hoped desperately Ciera and Chester would be done soon. She only had so much willpower.
Chester threw back her head as Ciera obediently sucked her cock, enjoying the power she had to order her _good cow_around. Some part of her, subconsciously, could feel that she was finally beginning to feel satisfied. It was, perhaps, something about ordering Ciera around, or maybe...maybe it was seeing Ciera there, blank and happy, obedient...some part of Chester envied that, perhaps. Already, she could feel on the fringes of her mind the small, sharp voices of restraint, anxiety, inhibition...but for now, she could enjoy the look on Ciera's face. Still, she wasn't cruel, and it would be _cruel_to just leave her like this...
"Ciera...you've been such a good cow. When I cum, spend a moment enjoying the pleasant feeling in your head, and then return to normal, okay?"
Ciera merely looked into Chester's eyes, her pace unchanged. Still, Chester knew she was close, that it was just about time...she smiled down at Ciera, willing herself to hold on for just a little bit longer, to enjoy this small moment...and then pleasure erupted in waves, wracking her body.
It took a few moments for the both of them to come to their senses, Ciera a little faster than Chester.
"Oh, god...Chester, I just...This, this is the second time!"
Chester blinked a little, as her normal self was reasserted. "The second time? For what? Oh..." Chester said, seeing the small bit of semen still staining her mouth as she turned around to clean up.
"The_second_ time, don't start making a habit of it! What...what was that Chester?"
"A trigger. Just like me. I actually...I don't know what it does. I mean, I did know, when I was...under the influence...but I don't remember fully any more."
"I know that it makes me...do things. Not _exactly_right, it makes me, um...want things. Specific things."
"Ciera, after all that just happened, you really don't need to beat around the bush. I'm exhausted, and too tired to figure out what you're trying to say. If you don't want to talk about it, then don't. We both should head out and...well, I guess we should talk about this."
"Oh, no, please! Karla and Vivian will just...Vivian! Oh no, that entire time, both of us were...W-we should go and apologize!"
"It's not our fault, Ciera, not really. But sure. Let's go."
It took a few moments, but eventually Karla and Vivian were sitting across from the two of them with a somewhat annoyed look on both their faces.
"First of all," Ciera said, blushing a little, "We're sorry. I...I know it's not _exactly_our fault, but still..."
"Just one question, both of you...how much did you know, but not tell us?" Vivian asked.
"Both me and her knew about my little problem, but I asked Ciera not to say anything," Chester answered, stretching the truth slightly. She had never exactly asked, but she knew that Ciera probably assumed that's what she wanted.
"But you didn't know about Ciera's trigger? You know, I've dealt with people put under hypnosis like this, the lamia is powerful indeed if she managed to get both of you reacting _that_automatically to such simple phrases. It usually takes multiple sessions, even for someone skilled, to alter someone's mind that heavily. I suppose there is some amount of magic to it, there has to be. I honestly envy that kind of power a little...but still, that's not the focus of this. We need everyone on the same page. Chester has a trigger phrase, attached to some...arousal problem?" Vivian said, glancing at Chester.
"Yes, something like that..." Chester replied.
"So, you actually need to be triggered occasionally?"
"I think if I don't...it will sort of happen on it's own eventually."
"Are you conscious when it happens?"
"Kind of, it's like I'm...missing all the things inside your head that tell you not to do something. I also think...I mean, I'm not sure, but I think if someone had attacked us suddenly or something, I would still have been able to fight. It's hard to explain."
"I understand. At least it could be worse. As for you, Ciera...care to talk about it? What happened in there?"
"I, um...I can't say her name. You know, um..." Ciera said, pointing at Chester.
"I see. If you try to, you instead say her trigger. This lamia is devious. So, if what Karla briefly told me of what happened after I left is true, then your trigger makes you...do things? Some kind of obedience trigger? And the lamia gave it to Chester, knowing that you might accidentally trigger her, and that she in turn would probably trigger you. And still, neither Chester nor you are exactly certain of what it does?"
"I do, Vivian...I just don't really want to talk about it..." Ciera said, avoiding everyone's gaze.
"Ciera, it's nothing to be ashamed of!" Karla said, with a concerned look.
"Karla, I appreciate your concern but...you don't really know what it's like. Maybe I'll talk more about it later when I've had some time to think."
"Doesn't seem like it's _that_complicated..." Chester said, sighing afterwards. "Still, we should all get some rest. We still have business tomorrow, we'll...we'll figure out how we deal with this. I swear, if we have to make a damn _schedule_for dealing with all this, milkings and triggers and things, that will be the last straw. I'll find whatever damn wizard started this tournament and show them how I feel about it."
"Don't say things like that Chester! The Judges could _always_be watching!" Karla hissed at Chester, lowering her voice slightly. "If we want to win, we need to remember that! As far as we know, whoever started the Tournament is probably _very_well liked by the Judges. Be careful who you threaten!"
"Yeah, yeah, it wasn't serious. It's just so strange, having to deal with all this like it's normal. I mean, it's really starting to _feel_normal, isn't it? It hasn't even been that long! Regardless, we should rest. All of us. Vivian, throw up some warding spells, we'll just rest here tonight, no watch. It's worth the risk if it means all of us will be at our best in the morning."
"Agreed, Chester. I'll set something up," Vivian replied.
With that, the four of them returned to their tents, trying their best to recover from an exhausting afternoon, after what they had hoped would be an uneventful day.
The next morning, they were indeed all much more rested. Karla had managed to refrain from worsening her growing problem, and seemed if anything amused at the attention everyone paid to her breasts in the morning, each of them trying to spot if anything had changed. She was beginning to learn her obsession had many different outlets...and she was interested in exploring the possibilities. Ciera was milked without incident, another thing that improved Karla's mood, and afterwards even Vivian seemed to be in high spirits. Once everything was taken care of, they did one last equipment check, before each of them stood at the edge of the poorly-hidden pitfall trap.
"Well, we can't be hurt, not as long as the magic of the Tournament protects us. No reason to be afraid of that. If there is any trap on the way down, we're just going to have to accept it. This definitely leads deeper down," Chester said, slipping a pebble underneath the rotten boards of wood that served as the traps cover, underneath the leaves. They listened for quite a while, as the pebble clinked harmlessly across the edges of the rocky hole, until they could hear it no longer.
"Well...we're all sure we want to do this?" Karla asked.
"Yes...I mean, it seems like the best option. Heading towards the center isn't doing anything for us," Ciera replied.
"On four then?" Vivian said.
"Yes," Chester answered. "One...two...three...four!"
They all stepped onto the rotten wood, deliberately allowing the trap to snap beneath their feet and drop them down. They did, indeed, not feel any pain from the sudden drop, or their collisions with the walls of the pit. When they did hit particularly hard, there was a brief sensation of exhaustion, much like in a fight, but it faded much faster.
It wasn't until, in the darkness of their fall, they heard some grinding mechanism, like stone grinding against stone, that Chester called out "Is everyone alright? Did anyone hear that?"
"Yes, I'm fine, just...just still falling, but we have to be reaching the bottom soon I imagine!" came Vivian's reply.
Both of them waited a moment, expecting Ciera or Karla to chime in.
And then they both landed with a thud, their eyes adjusting to a sort of dim light radiating from patches of crystal on the walls, neatly placed similarly to torches. They both stood up, looking around for a moment, before they both realized the problem.
"Karla...Ciera...they should have hit the bottom too by now..." Vivian said, looking up into the darkness of the hole they fell down.
"Damn. So that's the trap. It separated us, somehow. Seems like a stupid trap to me, we can use our rings to find each other. Says they're...well, says they're through this wall. I guess...we can't exactly walk in a straight line to them. Should we stay put, wait for them, or go looking?"
Vivian looked around for a moment, before sighing. "A trap like this was_meant_ to separate us. It won't be that easy. We should keep moving forward. I assume we will be able to reunite at some point further ahead."
Chester nodded, and prepared to move. Karla and Ciera would be able to handle themselves. Hopefully.
If Karla can hold herself together, alone with Ciera. Having to milk her at least twice a day.
Perhaps we should hurry, just a little, Chester thought.
