[Greentext] While the holidays are a stressful time for any theme park's employees, everyone is meant to have a satisfying Christmas in Whimsey World. That includes a certain park coordinator who hasn't had many happy ones in the past...

>Christmas

>The most magical time of year for Whimsey World

>For the guests, anyway

>Starting the day after Thanksgiving, the employees are roped into shifts where the word “overtime" doesn't do justice

>Everyone wants to spend their holidays seeing the park decked out in lights and ornaments

>No part of the park goes undecorated, from the castle towers to all the trashcans

>Plaster mounds of snow are affixed to every rooftop, hiding actual snow machines that blow flakes down to the park streets

>Many of the rides take on winter themes, and some of the mascot characters get extra special attention

>Like Princess Glacika, Chee's absolute favorite one

>The Little Happy Planet ride is revamped to be almost entirely about the icy princess

>Chee frequently comes home singing “Go and Snow" on perpetual repeat

>Not everyone is as excited about the festive characters, though

>Rox is stuck with Powder Pupper, a Christmas cousin to Whirly Barf

>The costume hasn't been broken in as much as what she's used to, and adding multiple layers of additional coats and scarves makes it hard to move around

>Coupled with the throngs of added guests, and Rox is having a pretty rough time

>Her usual groans of, “I really need a drink tonight" have degraded into unintelligible whining

>It's a good thing you know her mannerisms inside and out, because her ability to properly communicate is almost nonexistent

>Some days she's so wiped out that either Chee or you have to drive her back to the apartment

>No small feat for you, considering you don't have the feet for anthro-designed vehicles

>Never mind the trouble you could potentially get into

>Rox is sprawled out in the back seat when you get her back home

>Just another night of dragging the wolfess through the front door

>She sounds like she's dying by how loudly her cries are

>Even Chee gets tired of it, but the longer Rox hams it up the more likely the bird reverts to her motherly instincts

>The oriole cooks for Rox and brings her anything she needs

>"She really does give it her all, though…" Chee says, making excuses for the wolfess

>That poor girl

>Tonight she's out late, so it's just you and Rox

>Rox points weakly to the bedroom

>You lug her over to the bed and drop her down

>Next she wiggles around, tugging at the hem of her clothes

>It's a good thing you've gotten so comfortable with each other

>You strip her down to just her shorts and she rolls onto her stomach

>Guess you're doing the whole routine tonight…

>First you work your hands into her neck and shoulders, combing through the thick fluff of her fur

>Fortunately her coat doesn't get any fuller at this time of the season

>With how warm Whimsey World stays throughout the year, adding even more fur would probably kill her for real

>Rox hums loudly as you massage her bare upper back and arms

>She makes all sorts of noises as you travel down her spine

>Little gasps and chortles

>Purrs and blown raspberries

>The longer you go, the more cogent her words become

>"Ooohhh y-yeaaa-a-ahhh…"

>You knead her hips and thighs, giving them a light squeeze with each motion

>That's more for your enjoyment than hers

>Not that she's objecting, though

>Now comes her favorite part

>You move back up to the end of her spine, right where her tail starts

>You stroke and pinch the base of her tail

>Rox's whole body quivers with pleasure

>It doesn't unwind her so much as builds her energy back up

>She rubs her legs together to hold out as long as she can

>Playing too roughly with her tail has led to a couple of “interesting outcomes" in the past

>Her belly remains her weakest spot

>And yet, it's the one she always forces you to touch

>When she's had enough of you attaching her tail, she rolls over onto her back

>Her breasts swing around with her torso, and she gives them a cup teasingly

>But she knows soon enough to grip the bed for support as your hands loom over her unguarded stomach

>You have the power to decide whether Rox has been naughty or nice

>A few nights already you've brought her to the edge, only to deny her that escalating climax

>Though that often backfires

>It's not easy to sleep through the night when you have a large wolfess grinding against your body wantingly, hoping for a much-needed release

>Her tongue lolls as you begin the tummy rubs

>Just about every anthro employee in Whimsey Park is gathered in the conference hall

>All the coordinators are lined up before a long table, with Sherry-K right in the middle

>Behind her is a large box wrapped up like a present, but with a narrow slit on top

>"Christmas is quickly approaching," the tigress booms, “and so we are commencing our annual Secret Santa exchange."

>Excited murmuring breaks out, though it's quickly hushed by Sherry-K's stern look

>"As always this event is optional, though you will need to provide a gift in order to receive one. If you wish to participate, please submit your name to this collection box. You will be notified of your assigned employee during your next shift."

>The coordinators are already scribbling their names on slips of paper while the rest of the anthros file forward to wait their turn

>You, Rox, and Chee hang back until the mob thins out

>The only other one who doesn't look eager to submit her name is Sherry-K

>She supervises the process with a stoic demeanor

>Your roommates pick up on this as well

>The three of you approach the table when the time is right

>"Hey, Sher," Rox says, with Chee joining in right after her

>"Roksa, Chee, Anon…" the tigress says robotically

>"Are you going to put your name in this year?" Chee asks sweetly

>"No," Sherry-K responds flatly

>"What, you don't want to have to go get a gift for someone?" Rox scoffs

>"That's not it at all."

>"Aww," Chee pouts, “then why? I'm sure someone would really appreciate a gift from you!"

>"I'm sure they would as well."

>Rox growls in frustration

>"What's your deal, Sher? I know for a fact you used to do the Secret Santa. When did you get a humbug stuck up your butt?"

>Chee chokes back a giggle, looking extremely ashamed of herself

>Sherry-K inhales, as she usually does right before giving what feels like a practiced lecture

>"It is my belief that occasions for giving gifts, such as during Christmas, should be charitable gestures first and foremost. This workplace endeavor is primarily organized for the fairness of the employees. I don't need to participate if I wish to provide gifts of my own freewill."

>"Then why not throw your name in anyway?" Rox says

>"Yeah!" Chee adds. “You give out gifts every year! Don't you think you should get something in return?"

>Sherry-K's eye twitches

>"If I submit my name among the others, then the gift will go to waste. It would be better if another employee's name is drawn instead."

>"But…I don't understand…" Chee says

>You realize it's just the four of you left now in the conference hall

>Sherry-K sighs herself into a frown

>"I used to participate years ago," she says, “but once I became a coordinator then it became a one-way exchange. I would give my gift to the proper recipient, but I would never receive one myself. No doubt whoever drew my name each year didn't feel comfortable being assigned to me."

>As much as she tries to hide behind a blank facade, there are trace emotions in the tigress' eyes

>Bitterness, sadness, disappointment…

>"So as I said, submitting my name would be pointless. If someone is assigned to me, then it's just another potential employee who would be deprived of a gift themselves. I would much rather a gift be given by someone comfortable with who they are assigned to, rather than no gift be given at all."

>Sherry-K raps her clipboard with her nails

>"Now then, I believe all of you have an upcoming shift you should be preparing for."

>She ushers the three of you out the hall before heading off to her office

>The submission box is left to sit in the darkening room

>"Poor Sherry-K…" Chee says

>"Well, what are you gonna do?" Rox mutters. “She'd be in a better position if she spent less time burning bridges and more time making friends."

>Chee shakes her head violently

>"No! That's not right! Nobody should just be ignored like that, especially when she's changed for the better. Somebody should do something nice for her, Roxie…"

>"Look, Chee. I know your heart is in the right place. If you want to get her something, go ahead. Maybe we can pitch in and treat her to a nice dinner or whatever, but we can't force someone else to be her Secret Santa."

>Chee looks at the lonely submission box and rubs her shoulder

>"Let's go," Rox says. “We're gonna be late for work."

>"Alright…" the bird replies. “Oh! I'll catch up in a second! I think I left my pin lanyard on my seat."

>The cafeteria is abuzz with excited anthros

>Everyone is eager to see who their Secret Santa target is

>A few coordinators are handing out red envelopes with the big reveal printed inside

>Those who have already gotten their letters are showing the gamut of emotions

>Some of happy, some are bummed out, some are indifferent (or just good at hiding their expressions), and some are absolutely confused

>That's Rox when she picks up her own letter

>She looks inside and blinks studiously

>"Ah…nope. I have no idea who this is…"

>"What? Roxie, she works over by you on Cast Night!" Chee says

>"Hmm…oh, the lemur? Yeah, that's right! We both got written up together when we used the queue ropes for hurdle jumping."

>"Oh Roxie…do you remember EVERYONE just by how much trouble you get in with them?"

>"Nah, but it definitely helps."

>Chee slices open her own envelope with her beak

>"Ooh! I got Baggy!"

>"Great, maybe you can get him some personality for Christmas."

>"Roxie!"

>You tear open your own envelope next

>You never thought you'd have performance anxiety for such an innocuous task, but Rox and Chee are breathing down your neck in anticipation

>So when the name is revealed, you hear their gasps in stereo

>[Sherry-K]

>"Ha, so the kitty didn't want to pass up a present after all…" Rox laughs

>"Yay! I'm glad we got through to her!" Chee sings

>It's a conflicting feeling for you

>On one hand, it would be nice to give Sherry-K a Christmas she can be happy with

>You're already (sort of) on her good side, and improving your standing with her will only lead to better things

>On the other hand, it's Sherry-K

>The expectations are far greater with someone like her

>What would you even get her, considering her obsessive love of Whimsey means she probably has anything she could ever want?

>She might even get upset or offended by whatever you pick for her

>But you can't just back out of this now

>If her name was in the pool, she must be holding on to one last bit of hope someone will be her Santa

>Could you stand seeing her cry again?

>Could you live with yourself if YOU were the one to make her cry?

>"Whatcha' thinking about, Anon?" Chee says

>"You'd better come up with something," Rox says, “or she might just go and cancel the fun for everyone else next year."

>Great, even more pressure

>"S-she wouldn't…" Chee says. “She'd never cancel Christmas, right?"

>"Well, I guess it would end up being fair for everyone, just like she said."

>That puts Chee into hysterics

>"Please, Roxie! We have to help Anon get her a good present! Can't you think of anything?"

>"Is the dinner plan…off the table?"

>Rox elbows you with a goofy smile

>"This is serious!" the bird cries

>"Alright, settle down, Chee. I have an idea what we can do, but I'm not pulling it off by myself. You're going to have to help with this."

>Rox turns to you

>She leans in so close your noses touch

>"ESPECIALLY you. This is YOUR Secret Santa business, so you're going to have to do your part."

>She repositions her muzzle so it's right next to your ear

>"I'm going to need ear scratches. Lots of them, for at least an hour straight. The toes, too. I don't care if your fingers fall off by the end of it."

>Days go by, and the workload gets even worse

>Just dancing and signing autographs isn't enough to make Rox put up with

>She also has to sit at the side of Santa's colossal chair while the big guy talks to kids

>So not only does she have to interact with the little runts, but she also has to endure Santa patting her on the head as well

>The only reason she hasn't snapped yet is because you have it worse

>Rather than your usual handler's outfit, you're dressed like an elf

>It's the most demeaning, idiotic looking elf costume ever

>You can practically hear Rox snickering from inside the Powder Pupper whenever she looks at you

>When Rox gets tasked with ride-alongs, she starts missing being Santa's right-hand dog

>The wolfess is usually ambivalent to most rides in the park—unless she's with you—but now she downright loathes them

>Powder Pupper is cumbersome enough to move around in, but just sitting still is even worse

>Though this is because of the added bulk Rox has to deal with

>The safety bars on most attractions can barely close over her

>And when they do, she's sandwiched in pretty tightly

>She's already holding her breath just to squeeze into the carts, and every time you hit a turn, a drop, or a jolt it knocks what little air she has left out of her

>More than once you have to check up on her after the ride to make sure she didn't pass out

>Luckily, Whimsey management isn't quite cruel enough to let one of their employees die on an attraction

>When things get too exhausting for Rox, you're allowed to invoke your handler's directive and move her someplace she can recover

>You're sitting in one of the chill rooms taking five

>You can see Rox's chest heaving even through the costume

>"Gonna…water…need…" she gasps deliriously

>You hand her a water bottle, but she doesn't take it

>"Can't…ngahh…gonna need to…help me…"

>You move the bottle closer to her muzzle, helping her reach it easier

>"No…not enough."

>Come on Rox

>Does she need a straw or something?

>"Take a drink…" she says, pointing to her mouth, “and hold it there…"

>What is she up to?

>You take a swig of the water and hold it in your cheeks

>Rox immediately grabs your head and plants her lips onto yours

>She squeezes your face, making you spurt the water into her mouth

>She drinks it up and continues with the kiss

>When she breaks away, she chuckles with a lick of the lips

>"You like that?"

>It certainly caught you by surprise

>You cough a bit as Rox pats you on the back

>"Well, it'll go easier for you if you just play along now."

>She wags the water bottle in front of you

>"We're going to drain this whole thing before going back out there."

>Christmas is swiftly approaching, and work becomes even more strenuous

>The Cast Night just before the big day is cancelled, and tonight's has been shortened to accommodate later park hours for the human guests

>So the anthros take what they can get

>Even Rox is eager to take advantage of the opportunity

>Though it's hard to go on any of the rides and not feel a little guilty for the anthros stuck running them

>The wolfess is chomping away at a handful of leftover gingerbread men when Chee meets up with you in the center of the park

>The nearby Whimsey Castle all lit up is breathtaking, and the bird even stops to admire it

>"Chee! Focus!" Rox barks at her

>"R-right!"

>Chee hops in place, looking behind her every few seconds

>"Did you take care of it?" Rox says seriously

>"Uh-huh!"

>"Good. Now we hang tight."

>Rox passes out some of her gingerbreads

>Chee pecks away at it happily

>It isn't long before you see a tigress in the distance marching toward you

>Surprisingly, Sherry-K has neither her coordinator shirt nor her clipboard

>She's just in some very casual clothes with a Whimsey t-shirt on

>"Hey, Sher," Rox mumbles with her mouth full. “Get to go on any rides tonight?"

>The tigress' tail whips around violently

>"Roksa, I hope you have a good explanation for what you're doing."

>"What'd I do now?"

>"You KNOW full well what you did! My uniform and ALL my clipboards are missing. This is obviously your doing!"

>Rox feigns surprise

>"What? Me? How come you never blame Anon or Chee for any of this?"

>"Because Anon and Chee don't have the record you do."

>"You say 'record', but I like to think of it as a 'high score'."

>"Unbelievable…"

>Rox grabs Sherry-K in one arm and you in the other

>Chee gets in close to the tigress as well

>"C'mon, Sher," Rox says. “Don't be so sour. You gotta learn to let go of the little things…so you can make room for BETTER little things."

>Sherry-K has an utterly perplexed look on her face

>Rox points ahead to the park streets

>"Like that little thing. Isn't it cute?"

>Rolling around a stone's throw away is a miniature toy train

>A bunch of stuffed Whimsey characters are riding on top of the boxcars

>"See?" the wolfess says. “Doesn't that just bring a SMILE to your face?"

>Rox tickles Sherry-K in the side with a poke of the paw

>A laugh escapes the tigress' mouth as she recoils

>Just then, a flash of light comes from the toy train

>Sherry-K seems oblivious to it

>She squirms out of Rox's arm and straightens her shirt

>"Look," she says, fighting back anger. “We're much too busy for me to be worrying about disciplining you, but don't think I won't do it if you press me."

>"Geez, sorry," Rox says, pulling Chee in with her vacant arm. “I'm sure your stuff will show up soon."

>"See that it does, Roksa," Sherry-K says with an upturned nose

>After she stomps off, Rox gives you and Chee the thumbs-up

>"I think that worked like a charm," the wolfess says

>"Ooohhh, I hope she isn't too mad at us," Chee moans

>"Nah, she'll only be mad at me, and she'll get over it anyway."

>Rox looks around for the toy train

>"Now we just gotta catch the damn thing before it falls into the moat."

>Christmas Day

>The worst of it passed the Eve before

>Even then, the shift flew by before you knew it

>All the tension leading up to the big day was deflated in a rush of activity

>You didn't even have time to stress about things

>It came and went with as little pain as you expected

>You could even say it was a fun day overall

>While Christmas Eve was a marathon of a shift, Christmas Day is much shorter

>No doubt done to let employees spend some time with their families

>When the day is over, everyone is gathered in the conference hall once more

>Snacks and refreshments cover the entire table

>In the corner is a massive decorated tree with a mountain of presents underneath

>Each one is labeled with the name of the recipient

>Specifically, the name written on the slip of paper everyone submitted to the box

>Done to mask who your Secret Santa is, as the name is written in your own writing

>All the coordinators gather around the tree to pass out the gifts, calling out names as they dig through the stack

>Everyone crowds the tree, excited to receive their present

>Rox beckons you and Chee closer to the pile of gifts

>Right by Sherry-K

>The tigress conveniently finds the ones for you and Chee, then later finds the one addressed to Rox

>"Roksa," she says numbly

>"Thanks, Sher," Rox says with sincerity

>The three of you hang around for a while

>Sherry-K looks at you all with impatience

>"Well? You have your presents. What else are you waiting for?"

>Rox just shrugs

>"Just keeping you company, I guess. Is that so wrong?"

>Sherry-K scoffs, continuing to pick up gifts

>"Do what you will. It's only your own time being wasted by hanging arou—“

>The tigress freezes

>She found it

>"What's wrong, Sher?" Rox says

>The tigress' paws tremble

>She touches her name on the slip, as though unable to believe it exists

>"Go ahead and open it!" Chee says

>Sherry-K gingerly pinches the ribbon and tugs it off

>You're looking forward to seeing the gift yourself

>Rox pretty much left you entirely in the dark about what she was up to

>You have a hunch she did that so she could guilt you into some extra scratches later on

>All you really contributed was signing your name on something

>Even that was done with some secrecy on Rox's part

>Sherry-K finishes unwrapping the box, then opens it with bated breath

>Inside is a framed photo

>You, Rox, Chee, and Sherry-K are all standing together with the Whimsey Castle perfectly lit in the background

>The picture was taken at the moment Rox tickled Sherry-K, giving the tigress the impression she's laughing out of merriment

>You're all smiling along with her

>"What's that on the back?" Rox says, as if she didn't already know the answer

>Sherry-K flips the picture over and inhales sharply

>[We love you, Sherry-K!] is written in the center

>Surrounded by the names of just about every anthro employee she knows

>Maybe gathered with just as much subterfuge as yours, but the tigress doesn't need to know that part

>Those green eyes, like dry grass, suddenly get much wetter

>"Merry Christmas, Sher," Rox says, moving in for a hug

>"Merry Christmas!" Chee squeals, joining in

>You find a spot to fit as well

>Sherry-K manages to get all three of you in her arms

>"Thank you…all of you…" she whispers, choking back tears

>The whole room looks on

>It's an infectious spirit

>"See?" Chee says as the hug breaks. “Doesn't it feel great to get a gift?"

>Sherry-K nods slowly

>"Yes…it does…but I never submitted my name. That's not even my handwriting. How did you all manage that?"

>"Well, we were going to do something nice for you anyway," Rox says. “But as far as getting assigned to you, I have no clue. Anon just somehow pulled your name, and the rest of us—“

>Rox goes still

>She takes the slip with Sherry-K's name and the photo

>She holds the two up together, with a claw pointing at one of the names on the back of the picture

>A name written with identical handwriting to the one on the slip, right down to the stylized “H"

>Chee's name

>The bird looks horrified at being exposed

>She's almost on the verge of tears herself, but she calms down when seeing all the amused faces around her

>"Gotta keep an eye on you," Rox laughs

>She pulls her roommate in for another hug

>"You can be pretty sneaky when you want to, Chee."

>As the two roommates joke with each other, Sherry-K just looks at the photo

>Even though it was taken with her expression being coaxed out by a tickle, it's not hard to look at it and see Sherry-K's face as being genuine

>It's clear she wants to see it the same way

>Her face scrunches up and she wipes at her eyes

>No doubt eager to get home and find a place to put the picture

>Thanks to Chee, the apartment has a festive feel to it

>Though the excessive amount of Whimsey decorations makes Rox roll her eyes

>Still, it's a cozy home to return to at the end of a heartwarming day

>"Hey, Chee," Rox says. “Give Anon that thing, won't you?"

>The wolfess dashes into her room and shuts the door

>Odd…

>Chee spins you around and hands out another pair of presents to you

>"Merry Christmas, Anon!" she sings. “From Roxie and me!"

>Whoever your own Secret Santa was must have had a good sense of humor

>Or a really bad one

>You had gotten a claw-maintenance kit

>A really nice one, though

>Whether they intended it or not, you could probably use it on Rox for a little bit of intimate grooming

>Then there was Sherry-K's gift, which she was more than prepared to give you after getting her own present

>It's a high quality pinstripe shirt similar to the one coordinators wear

>Though this one has your name embroidered on the front

>She must have been planning this for a while

>Guess you really were on her good side

>The tigress also announced that management had knocked a little bit off everyone's rent for the month

>Both as a reward for being so generous with the Secret Santa event, as well as to apologize for how crazy things had gotten over the holidays

>It's all far more than you were expecting, considering you were someone who didn't belong in this secret anthro society not too long ago

>And you have more presents yet being thrust at you by Chee

>You take the gifts and unwrap them with the bird's excited eyes on you

>The first is a copy of the same picture Sherry-K got, albeit without all the names on the back

>It really is a nice photo

>One you'll keep by the OTHER photo taken without your knowledge

>The second gift is another picture, but far more impressive

>It's a gorgeously drawn image of you, Rox, and Chee

>All happy faces in front of a stylized Whimsey Castle

>The signature at the bottom reveals that it was one of Whimsey's top animators who drew it

>How did they pull this off?

>Chee embraces you tightly before you can question the gift

>"Thanks for being the best roommate ever, Anon!" she says

>It's really been an incredible year for you

>And from the looks of things, you'll be with these anthros for a while

>Hopefully long enough to share another few Christmases with them

>"I hope that was long enough," Chee says

>What?

>"Oh, Roxie wanted me to stall you for a whi—I MEAN, u-uh…have a goodnight!"

>Chee dashes off to her room to hide

>Poor girl

>You give a knock on Rox's door, but she doesn't answer

>Well, it's technically your room too…

>You open the door to find a massive present beside the bed

>Rox is nowhere in sight

>Which means there's only one place she can be

>You carefully lift up the lid to the gift box

>It shoots out of your hands as the wolfess pops out

>A Santa hat bounces on her ears, and your eyes travel downward to take the rest of her in

>She's wearing candy cane stockings and white-trim red panties

>But the most eye-catching part is the narrow ribbon tied around her chest to make a little bow on her back

>It does little to contain her breasts, but it's expertly positioned to hide the little fleshy nubs underneath

>"Merry Christmas, Anon…" she purrs seductively

>She leans over the edge of the box, giving her lips a slow lick

>"I hope you can get a little more comfortable, because I have something in mind for us tonight…"

>Rox bends back down inside of the gift box, giving you prolonged look down her cleavage

>Then she pulls something up teasingly

>Drumming her fingers on it

>Whatever it is, it sounds thick and heavy

>What could it…?

>O…

>Holy…

>Shit…

>Rox stands up fully, holding a massive book up to your face

>[100,001 Jokes and Puns]

>"Santa knows me all too well…"

>Whoever Santa was, they were probably thrilled to have such an extremely easy time finding a gift for the wolfess

>"Mmm, how much of this can we get through tonight, I wonder?"

>Rox turns around and steps out of the box, giving her rump a wiggle for you as she does so

>"Well, SOMEONE owes me some ear scratches, so I guess we'll start with that and see how long we go…"

>And onto the bed you go

>The night is spent peacefully sitting in Rox's lap

>It's not a simple task to reach behind you to scratch and stroke her fur, but she doesn't seem to mind much

>She's more interested in reading her new book

>Her arms are wrapped around you, holding the book so you can both see it

>She chuckles into your back every few seconds, and breaks out into hearty laughing every few minutes

>"That's a good one!" she says countless times

>Rox takes frequent breaks to give your hands an easier time to uphold your end of the bargain

>She leans her head on your shoulder, nuzzling you on the cheek as you work

>When you've given her ears sufficient attention, she pulls your chin to her face and kisses you deeply

>"Merry Christmas, Anon," she says again between kisses

>When it's time for sleep, she keeps the hat and stockings on

>But she guides your hand to the ribbon on her chest

>"Better unwrap this before bed, huh?"

>You pull the ribbon loose, and her breasts hang free

>How lewd…

>Can't have her seeing this…

>You pull the Santa hat down over her eyes

>Rox sticks her tongue out at you

>She puts the book aside with a pat on the cover before shutting off the lights

>"We'll get through that little by little…just like this…every night…"

>You're snug in the wolfess' arms as she wraps the two of you up under the covers

>"Gotta say it again," she yawns

>Merry Christmas?

>She shakes her head, rubbing her neck fluff over your head

>"I love you…"

>One more kiss goodnight

>Merry Christmas, Rox

>And a Happy New Year

>In the happiest place in the world
