The Next Morning
#3 of Forgotten
The following morning was a chilly one. The wind had picked up, and a minor frost was set upon the ground. The leaves of the trees also seemed to be affected, their color changing from a dark green, to a light green, even some of them going yellow. Yet, the two foxes remained warmed, partly due to their fur, and partly due to the furs wrapped around their bodies. Unfortunately, the fire died during the night, letting the cool air rush into the camp, barely waking Faeir.
The young fox stirred, rolling over, flipping himself, and rearranging the furs trying to warm himself up. After of about five minutes of the crispy air, he gave up. Still drowsy, he stood up, grabbing his furs, and headed towards make-shift building. He stumbled upon his own feet, a few sticks, and a couple of rocks, but eventually laid himself down next to another pile of furs. Faeir moved himself closer, sensing the warmth emanating from the pile. He heard the wind blowing outside, which seemed to pick up drastically. Eventually the fox drifted off into a sleep, moving ever so slightly towards the pile.
Zura was deep asleep, dreaming the dreams of a past life. His mind was drifting back and forth from place to place, each thought scouring away every time he tried to focus on a single place. It finally settled down, but in a familiar place. He started thinking about Faeir, his life saver. The events of the past flowing through his uneased mind at a pace unreal.
Faeir seemed young. Then again, so was Zura. Faeir's fur was a light red, which to his surprise, he found kind of attractive. Even though he wasn't full out buff or anything, he still held onto a thread of strength. A type of strength he can't remember ever seeing before. He smiled. He also felt a stirring in his sheath. At his sudden arousal, a ghastly pain rose down there. He grimaced at the feeling, moving his hand down there, to try and rub it off.
His consciousness was slowly awakening. He couldn't reach there! His body was all screwed up, bent in a shape all stretched out in his fruitless attempt to get comfortable. The more he tried, the further it seemed to get away. Zura put forth an effort that could be compared to an ant lifting a mountain, and turned himself over to his right. His left arm flailing onto something he didn't know was there, but it felt soft and furry. Probably a pile of furs he thought to himself. Now in his new position, he used his right hand to slowly massage his aching sheath. He let out a sigh of relief as the pain seemed to dissolve away right into the air. He smile once more, and pulled the pile of furs closer to him, rubbing his stomach and pelvis regions into it. Once again he fell into a sleep, dreaming thoughts unlike any other....
Jumping up and down in a patch of flowers was a weird dream, that Faeir doesn't usually find himself doing. He was frolicing happily throughout the daisies, living a dream unlike any other. His body felt warm, yet it didn't seem natural. Though he didn't question it, just enjoyed it. He started spinning, staring into the blue sky and fell back, laughing into the soft daisies, which happened to get crushed beneath his body. As we was falling, Faeir happened to see a fox in the distance.
He quickly sat himself up, hugging his knees as he looked towards this strange fox. She was too far away for him too see clearly. Faeir stood up, and started brushing the dirt off of his legs. It came off easily, which was good for him, because he didn't enjoy being dirty. The red fox started heading towards the new stranger in the distance. She didn't seem too far away, but as soon as he took off running, she started running too. To make matters worse, it seemed to him that for every step he took, she would take twice as many. Why is this so difficult? He thought to himself.
His frustration began to grow, as he couldn't control the dream any longer. The further into the flowers he ran, the farther she away she went. His steps were soft upon the ground as he ran, then like hitting a wall, his body started to shudder and grow weak. Faeir's steps grew heavy, and he was forced to stop. Oddly enough, tears started to form around his eyes. The daisies stop looking bright and glowly, and began to droop, letting the colors seep out onto the ground. The sky itself went dark, with the sun vanishing, only to be replaced by a red moon, darkening the land, and reddening the air.
The fox looked around, lost and confused. He took a step backwards only to find the ground fall out beneath his feet. He fell back into the nothingness, reaching for something to grab, with what ever luck there is, he found it. His hands gripped onto the moist earth. It still wasn't enough. The ground under his hands gave way, and once more he found himself falling. It felt like an eternity, his voice gone numb from the screaming. He reached out one last time.
To his surprise and joy, a strong, firm hand took a hold of his. It stopped his falling, and pulled him up. The rush of the air flew past his face as he rose past the hole entrance. He fell onto the daisies, which were now bright once more. He smiled, turned to find the being, but found nothing. Still, he was safe and happy again, the nightmare had finished. Though for some reason, he couldn't help but notice how the daisies kept rubbing against his back.
If for some reason a strange came across this camp site, they'd find nothing of interest on the outside. The fire was burned out, the grass was covered in frost and mud, and the clothes were very dirty and unclean. If that same stranger happened to go inside of the camps one building, he/she would at first see a pile of furs. If that stranger let their eyes adjust, they'd soon discover that it was more than a pile of furs. It was two foxes snuggling together. A red fox and an orange fox. On the outside, the orange fox was wrapping one of his arms around the red one. Yet under the covers, the orange fox was moving back and forth, rubbing his now exposed cock against the back of the red fox, while pressing his chest into red's head. This stranger would of course, just take a first glance at the camp, and keep going on his way.
