Shadow tossed the picture and turned. His mind riddled with confusing thoughts of events from the past few days. He still did not quite know just who he was. His mind blurred into a mix of feelings. "Good bye, Shadow the Hedgehog."
He continued to walk and found himself lost in a dark hallway. "Damn it, I think I should have made a left." He began to go back only to be thrown onto the floor, a heavy being on top of him.
"I think you found the perfect spot, love." Sonic said to his opposite, followed by a light kiss. Shadows eyes closed, his lips feeling cold without the warmth Sonic brought them. He opened his eyes at this realization, and looked almost pathetically at Sonic. "You look sad, Shadow."
He managed to regain his composure, as much a hedgehog in his situation could, and replied, "It is just hard finding my new identity, but how did you get here?"
