Unexpected Love - Chapter 1 - They Meet
Author's note:
(This story takes place in the distant future where space travel has become as easily accessible as buying plane tickets in fact that's the same place where you can travel to space. Also the human race has made alien contact to a planet named Terra, the people of Terra are all fox anthros. Terra has also been under siege by an extremist group uprising which has caused many of its citizens flee as refugees to Earth leaving everything behind. The story begins with Eliseo, a human about 6'2, his short brown hair combed back as usual, just returning from a trip with some friends when he arrives at the airport)
Unexpected Love - Chapter 1 - They Meet
Out the window, cloudy as usual Eliseo stares out the window of an airplane in almost a trance like state, his mind wandering. He snaps back to reality as the auto com crackles to life as the captain's voice informing passengers of arrival and the usual "fasten your seat belts". He complies and quickly fastens his seatbelt while everybody else in the air plane completely disregards the captain's request.
The plane lands just on schedule, and like most of the time Eliseo waits in his seat for all of the shoving people to pass before he gets up and heads for the exit. He steps into the terminal; the usual mix sound of everyone talking was in the air. Without thought he starts heading over to claim his bags. After watching a human and a Terran fight over a bag which the anthro claimed was his, and it was after a few minutes of tugging the human's bag came over on the conveyer belt and he released his grip from the other bag. Only after all the commotion ended did Eliseo move in to claim his bag.
After a long walk to the exit and the constant bumping into others he made it to the exit. He walked out into the pick-up area and while he was trying to remember where he parked he noticed another Terran. She was female about 5'4, her fur was a subtle orange with a white muzzle that went down her neck, and also she had a short blonde hair. Her face with a look of worry, as she looked around aimlessly, then at the ground, and again around. At first Eliseo didn't pay much attention, but her anxiety seemed as if it was increasing by the minute. It was only after five minutes of this did he approach her.
"Excuse me, are you alright?" asked Eliseo. After a while she noticed that she was being spoken to. "Yes, yes I'm fine" she responded in a worried voice still staring aimlessly. "Are you sure? You seem worried, is there anything I can do to help?" She then turns around, her ears perked up and a questioning look on her face she said "Why do want help, I heard that all humans only care about are themselves and their money". Eliseo responded, "That may be true, in most cases in fact, but there are very few people that actually care about others, and I am one of those people. Her ears fell and her face change to a look of apology, "I'm sorry, but ill be alright, really". "Okay, if you say so" Eliseo said as he began to walk to his car unaware that fox was following close behind.
Well there you go that's chapter 1, this is my first story, so people please comment, could use some constructive criticism or anything.
