09 Jake and Mitch: The Lion's Tiger
Authors Notes: As I'm sure most of you know, school has started back up. This makes me a freashman again and along with it a whole new kind of busy. Anyway, enjoy.

Ryan had been gone for three days, and Kevin spoke with Jake about the ending of his own visit. Jake and Mitch were adjusting to the slowly quieting household.
"It was nice having you visit," Jake said, "any clue when classes start?"
"They start up in four days, so we'll be leaving tomorrow morning." Kevin replied.
"So today's your last day here?" Mitch said from across the room. "Hey Jake, didn't that Tiger invite us to some party? We should all go."
"That doesn't sound like a bad idea." Jenny said as she entered the room, her fur wet and clinging tightly to her body while she left small patches of moisture on the carpet. She wrapped a towel around her body as she walked over to Kevin and kissed his neck from behind before speaking again. "So when is this party?" Mitch got off the couch and walked into the kitchen before picking up a small piece of paper with dried water spots.
"It starts at eight, at six-one-three Herron avenue. It also says to dress formally." Mitch read off the paper.
"Six-one-three?" Kevin said, thinking aloud. "I think I know that place, isn't that the Dalson estate?"
"You mean like Robert Dalson?" Jake said out of his own realization. "The famous lions that revolutionized electric power production? But we were invited by a tiger-"
"Yeah, an adopted tiger named Lonny Dalson." Kevin said, predicting his brother's question. Jake and Mitch just sat silently, thinking this new, and startling information.
"What was a rich tiger doing at a small club?" Mitch finally asked.
"Maybe he likes it there, where nobody knows he's rich." Jake answered.
"Well, a party is a party, right?" Jenny asked. "So let's go." With that, they agreed that they wouldn't let Lonny's financial status prevent them from going to something so potentially fun. Jenny said she would go shopping to find some more formal clothing for them, to help them blend in at the party, which Jake agreed would be best.
"But what do we do until the party starts?" Jenny asked. There was an audible silence in the room before Jake spoke up.
"Want to go surfing?" he asked meekly.
"Yeah, it's been awhile since I've seen the waves." Mitch said instantly.
"What about you two?" Kevin and Jenny shared a glance and a grin before responding.
"I think we would enjoy some time to ourselves, no offense." Kevin answered.
"None taken, you two play nice now." Jake said through an understanding smile. Mitch lead the way to the car parked outside, and Jake followed closely behind, as they piled into the car and drove off.
Jake pulled in behind his shop and walked around to the front door. "Hey Sally." He said to the squirrel wearing an apron with the words Jake's Surf Shop embroidered on it. "How are things?"
"Good morning Mr. Howers. Slow day, but the usual customers still stopping by." She responded after handing her customer some change.
"Mitch and I are taking boards four and five out today, so don't lend them out." Jake said to his employee. "Also, you look hungry, maybe you should take a lunch break. It's a slow enough day, I think you can afford to take a few minutes off, just take a shop key."
"Thanks Mr. Howers." She said as she grabbed one of the hanging keys behind the counter and walked out the shop door.
"She still calls you Mr. Howers?" Mitch asked casually when she was out of earshot.
"She's only worked for me for a few weeks. At least she takes good care of the shop."
"Yeah, I guess. So, are you ready for me to put your surfing skills to shame?" Mitch said playfully.
"Only if you promise to look sexy while you do it." Jake said as they left and locked the door.
They walked together towards a small shack with a padlock on the door. Jake pulled the store key back out of his pocket and unlocked the sliding door to reveal a small assortment of surfboards. They each grabbed one of the surfboards towards the end of the rack before locking the door and heading for the shoreline. After reaching the shore, they threw their shirts into the sand and dove into the cool blue-green water, boards in hand. As the waves rolled in, the two of them took their time to get reacquainted with the ocean, and Jake began remembering everything he loved about surfing. The salty air, the wind passing through his fur, and the translucent water beneath him hiding a world alien to his own. They surfed back and forth for nearly an hour before taking a small break on the sandy shore together in the sand with their boards at their sides overlooking the blue ocean.
"Alright, I admit it. You're much better than me for now, I'm a little rusty is all." Jake said to the fox at his side, earning a small chuckle from Mitch. Mitch looked into the wolf's crystal blue eyes, gazing at their purity. Jake pulled the fox close and placed his lips own his in a gentle kiss. He felt the fox's heart beat faster, betraying his calm and steady lips as he held him close. Together, they parted, Mitch resting his head on Jake's chest as they watched the waves roll foreword endlessly.
"It's beautiful." Mitch said. "The way the waves roll to shore and crash on the sand."
"Yes, there is something about watching the ocean move that is calming." Jake agreed. A few moments of silence passed between the pair.
"I'm so glad you found me." Jake said as he kissed the fox's neck.
"I love you, Mitch." Jake said to the fox Mitch's ears twitched at the words and his eyes open wider.
"I love you too, Jake." Mitch said as he wrapped his arms around the wolf's neck and dove onto Jake. The fox's lips found the wolf's as they kissed again, tighter and more passionately than they had in their short time together. When they parted Jake was on his back looking up at the fox's face as tears of joy began to form in Mitch's eyes. Jake pulled the fox down and kissed him again, staying together as they rolled around in the sand.
"Let's go back to that one spot you showed me before." Jake said to the fox who was now below him. They got up and grabbed their boards and shirts before walking down the beach together past all the tourist families and local teens having their own beach date.
After walking along the shore, and through some hidden passes, they arrived at Mitch's little beach cove. It was, like before, completely empty of all but them. Mitch led Jake to a small dent in the sand where they sat down with their shirts and boards off to the sides. There was a tall line of bushes along their left that went all the way from the small patch of woods behind them down to the shore which provided enough shade for them to lie beneath. They laid together in the sand, Mitch resting his head across Jake's abdomen, and stared at the endless sea of rolling waves.
"Do you think we will always be like this, so in tune with each other?" Mitch asked.
"We'll just have to wait and see what the future holds." Jake said carefully.
"But if you had to guess, what would you think?"
"I'd hope to be with you as long as I could." Mitch didn't respond, but closed his eyes and smiled at the thought of staying with Jake for the rest of his life.
After a short nap on the beach, Jake and Mitch awoke to find the sun still overhead, but beginning it's decline.
"What time is it?" Jake asked.
"I don't know, but we should head home. I want to shower before going to that party." Mitch said groggily. Jake agreed and walked back to the shop. Jake placed the surf boards back in his storage shack before going inside the store again.
"Welcome back, Mr. Howers, did you enjoy your surf?" Sally said cheerfully as the wolf walked back in.
"Yes, it was relaxing. Why don't you wake the rest of the day off, Sally. I don't think much else will be happening today." Jake said professionally.
"Thank you, Mr. Howers."
"Please, call me Jake, or at least Jacob."
"Okay Mr.- Jacob." Sally said as she hung her apron back on the hook behind her.
When Jake and Mitch arrived back at their home they found Jenny and Kevin were on the couch watching an old movie together. Jake walked past them while Mitch struck up a conversation.
"You two have a good time?" He asked playfully.
"Yeah." Jenny said with satisfied look on her face.
"Care to elaborate?" Mitch asked.
"Sorry, Mitch," Kevin said, "but we don't kiss and tell."
"So there is kissing I assume." Mitch said, causing a short group laugh to be shared among them.
"Don't worry Mitch," Jenny said as their laughter subsided, "a few hours of girl-talk and you will know Kevin better than he knows himself." Kevin chuckled but didn't respond. A few moments later, Jake came out of the bathroom and called Mitch over to share a shower.
"So what are your expectations for this party?" Jake asked as they undressed and climbed into the shower. As water cascaded upon them, dampening their fur, they carried on their conversation.
"I honestly have no clue, I've never been around people with that kind of money." Mitch replied while lathering his own headfur with some branded shampoo.
"Do you think that could be a problem?" Jake asked.
"Lonny may be rich, but we go to the same clubs." Mitch said with a slightly sarcastic undertone. Jake laughed and continued to clean himself, occasionally exchanging friendly pokes and prods with the fox.
After both had been properly cleaned they began to play with each others more sensitive areas, Jake finding his paws resting comfortably around Mitch's bottom. He pulled the fox close and began kissing him while water cascaded down upon their entangled bodies. He used one paw to pull Mitch's tail up while using his other to tickle the hole located below. "Mitch's own paws were pressed up against Jake's chest, feeling his strong muscles through the sleek fur. He wandered his paws to Jake's sheath, which was already starting to reveal the organ it hid.
"You know, I don't get to feel you enough." Jake whispered into Mitch's ear. Jake turned himself around, carefully to avoid slipping on the wet shower. He used his front paws to hold himself against the wall, lifting his tail to present his anus to his lover. With the water raining down on the, it was impossible to fully lube Jake's hole, so Mitch slowly began piercing the wolf, trying to get the roughest part done quickly. Jake felt Mitch's tip begin to poke against Jake's rear, as a steady amount of pressure allowed Mitch access to Jake's body. Jake moaned at the feeling of his mate's cock sliding inside him, as it pushed deeper. Mitch began moving faster, trying to keep what lubricant they had before the water washed it away, moving deeper with each thrust. Jake's face shifted endlessly from wincing in pain to smiling with pleasure, as Mitch pushed deep enough so his knot was the only thing between his mate and himself. Mitch used his paw to grab onto Jake's, now fully erect, penis. He pumped the organ a few times, timing each with his own thrusts and Jake's breathing, when one final thrust let loose Mitch's seed, leaving it deep within the wolf.
Mitch pulled his member out of Jake, diving in with his tongue to lap up any dripping cum before it was lost to the shower. After Mitch had found all he could he turned the wolf around and looked at Jake's member. He tickled the tip of the cock with his tongue, as he slid the organ along mouth's whip. Mitch placed the cock along his protruding tongue as he opened his mouth and took inside both his tongue and the organ resting on it. He closed his lips on the organ, paying close attention to where his teeth lay, and slowly pulled it out of his mouth. Mitch then moved his paws to Jake's rear and pulled Jake close, forcing his organ down his throat a second time. This time he kept the organ in his mouth, using his tongue to massage the organ until he felt it twitch. He pulled Jake deep into him as the wolf's seed poured down is throat. As the wolf continued to orgasm in the fox's mouth, Mitch pulled the organ out, letting drops of cum fall onto his tongue. The fox pulled the penis out of his mouth and swallowed the liquid he had collected inside his maw before standing again and kissing the wolf.
The two of them broke their kiss so they could step out of the shower where they dried their fur and left the bathroom together to find appropriate clothing for their party. Two outfits had been laid on their bed, presumably by Jenny, for each of them to wear. For Jake, there was a pair of khaki dress pants and button down shirt with descending stripes of multiple colors, each one more bland than the last. Mitch found a smaller pair of black dress pants and an ocean blue polo shirt with a striped blazer that gave him a look more suited for a door-to-door salesperson.
"Well, this is-" Jake paused, searching for the correct words to describe their situation.
"Different?" Mitch asked.
"Sure. Anyway, let's see how Jenny and Kevin turned out." They left their room and walked out to find Jenny in a classy red dress that ended just above her knee, looking like it had been picked straight out of an old spy movie. Kevin was dressed in much the same way Jake was, some loose dress pants and a tucked in button-up shirt.
"Shall we head over?" Jake asked the group which answered with a collection of nods.
They arrived at the Dalson's manor a little after eight o'clock, and were pleased when they found they weren't the only ones dressed so formally. Jake, Mitch, Jenny, and Kevin all walked to the cheetah dressed more formally than the guests standing outside the door.
"Name?" The greeter asked.
"Jake, Mitch, Kevin, and Jenny. We're friends of Lonny's" Jake added that last part after noticing the cheetah's puzzled look.
"I'm sorry, I cannot let you in without some confirmation. If you can wait I can send someone to ask Mr. Dalson about you." the greeter said sympathetically.
"That's not a problem, just tell him it's the wolf and fox from Inverse, he'll know who we are."
The cheetah reached to his belt and pulled up a two-way radio. "Hey, we need someone to get a hold of Lonny, got some folks at the door saying Lonny invited them." Through the radio they could hear the response.
"So turn them away, nobody gets in without an invite."
"I know sir," the cheetah replied, "but they mentioned that place Lonny was talking about, Inverse." After a few moments of radio silence a response was heard.
"Alright, I'll look for him." The cheetah looked relieved at that last statement, as he looked back at Jake. "It should only be a few more moments."
Fifteen minutes passed, as people in various pieces of expensive clothing walked into the manor, by the time Lonny got to the door.
"Jake! Mitch!" he called as he saw them. "Come on, get in here."
"Hey, Lonny. I hope you don't mind I brought my brother, Kevin, and his girlfriend, Jenny, along."
"Not at all, come on in." Lonny said as he ushered them inside.
"So, Lonny. How come you never mentioned you were so, uh, financially gifted?" Jake said when they were inside.
"I didn't think it mattered. Anyway, enjoy yourselves for now. I have something that needs doing, I'll be right down afterwards."
When inside, the four of them split up. Jenny went over to where most of the younger women were, exchanging in idle chat. Kevin walked over to get a drink from a table at the side of the room, and began to talk with one of the guys near him. Mitch instantly began looking for the most interesting people there, but ended up wandering in search of someone who wasn't so uptight. And Jake found his way to a small group of wealthy business owners. A Lion, possibly Robert Dalson, a small fox, and a large and rather round rhino were all talking about there respective businesses.
"I don't know, Bob, that sounds pretty risky." the fox said.
"Johnson, if you never take risks you will never succeed." Robert said with certainty.
"That may be true," the rhino said, "but you're planning on investing nearly half of your profits to another scientific breakthrough. What you invented was pure luck and to try again would be financial suicide."
"That's not true." Jake said affirmatively. "What he invented was pure genius, not luck, and to invest his money on another world changing invention would not only make him the most revolutionary fur in modern times, but would also make him the wealthiest in a matter of weeks. I'd say that's worth any price." Robert, Johnson, and the rhino just stared at Jake until the lion managed to speak.
"And who are you mister-"
"Howers, Jake Howers at your service."
"Well then, Mr. Jake Howers, what is it that you do?" the rhino asked.
"I run a small surf shop-" Jake began before the rhino cut him off.
"Hah, this man doesn't know a thing about business. His idea of a business is a dinky little corner store."
"Carl, that is enough." Robert said at a volume slightly below shouting. "Keep in mind how your own business is running right now." The rhino winced at the last comment before Jake started to speak again.
"It's small-time, sure, but it practically runs itself and leaves me with around seven thousand dollars after expenses and entertainment at the end of every year."
"And you get all that from just one store?" the fox asked.
"Yeah, but I'm sure your profits easily dwarf mine. All I'm saying is I know how businesses work enough to support myself and leave some money left over at the end of the year."
"Hey Jake!" Lonny called while walking towards him. "Hello, father. Jake, head upstairs when you're done here."
"Well, friends. It seems I must go." Jake said as he began to walk away.
"Wait." the fox said. "Jake, how would you like to work for me, you would start off as a manager of course, and I could really use someone like you."
Jake thought for a moment before agreeing to think about it.
"Great, here's my card. Contact me when you get the chance." The fox said as he produced a business card and handed it to the wolf.
Jake found his way up the stairs to find a long corridor with doors lining each side. As he walked down the corridor, looking for a clue as to which door he should take he heard one open up behind him.
"Jake, there you are. We were getting tired of waiting." Lonny said. Jake followed Lonny into the room. The room had a billiards table in the middle, with the various colored balls shaped into a triangle at one end, a jukebox with old music of a forgotten age in the far left corner, a mini-fridge sat next to the jukebox, and there were some couches that looked all too comfortable next to the door. Mitch was lying down on the couch and Lonny was standing by the pool table.
"Sorry to pull you guys away, but parties like this always bore me." Lonny said.
"Don't be," Mitch said from the couch, "this party is so uptight, I'm glad to have been pulled away."
"So, what's going on Lonny?" Jake finally asked.
"Figured you guys might want to help me pass the time." Lonny said as he moved to one end of the pool table, opposite of the arranged balls. He pulled a pool stick off the wall, and brought a white ball onto the table where he began to align his shot.
"We could spend our time playing pool, but I think we can agree that we would much rather do something more... playful." Lonny said, emphasizing the last word. Mitch's ears perked up and he flashed a pleading smile towards Jake.
The wolf spoke up. "I couldn't agree more."
