Flash Fiction: Do Not Disturb
Alan the hotel housekeeper just wants to get his tips and get through his shift--he doesn't want to think about what he's cleaning, especially since the annual Kink Convention is happening at his hotel. But some of the guests might forget to hang a very important door sign, and Alan is in for a real surprise during his day.
This was a quick personal story I banged out in between commission work, something light and fun with a little bit of an ominous ending (depending on what you imagine the gang in the hotel room is going to do to Alan)! Comments always welcome and appreciated, and I hope you enjoy!
The sandy brown stoat picked up the $10 bill and its accompanying "thank you" note from the TV stand and pocketed them both before he pushed his cart out of the hotel room he had just finished cleaning. Alan let the door swing shut behind him and continued down the corridor, humming to himself as he pushed his cart of cleaning supplies, trash bags, extra towels and bedding, and toiletries along.
On his left, he passed a few doors that had the Steelmont Hotel's gold and black "Do Not Disturb" signs hanging from their handles. On his right, he glanced down at the open atrium of the hotel lobby, where he could see clusters of people hanging out on the couches, at the bar, and around the fountains in the middle of the open space. He saw that most of the hotel guests on the ground floor were dressed in various leather, rubber, and neoprene outfits; some of them wore accessories to make themselves look like puppies and ponies, others displayed prominent piercings, and some held whips, leashes, chains, and paddles that they nonchalantly beat against their own hands.
Alan shook his head to himself, regretting that he had completely forgotten to ask scheduling to give him today off instead of tomorrow, when all the Cooper City Kink Convention attendees would have checked out. The ambient noise of their conversations mixed with the lobby's water feature and the jazzy playlist on the hotel's sound system--it carried up to his ears and he could pick out individual words like "strangling", "howling", "buckets", and "piss". The stoat mentally shuddered and shook off the images that ran through his head; he didn't even want to think about what he'd been cleaning all day, he just wanted to get his tips, finish his shift, and go home.
Eventually he came to a stop in front of room 816, where there was no sign hanging from the door handle. He cleared his throat and knocked twice on the blue door.
"Housekeeping!" Alan called.
He waited for a moment, but he didn't hear an answer, so he pulled out his universal key card, held it against the magnetic sensor, and opened the door after it unlocked.
Alan kept his eyes on the floor as he began to pull his cart into the room behind him, but he looked up momentarily to survey the room and assess what kind of cleaning job he had ahead of him.
The stoat could feel his heart stop in his chest. His eyebrows rose, his jaw dropped, and he blinked, trying to process what he was seeing.
The first piece of information his brain recognized was that everyone in the room was naked. Then everything else started to piece together to form a complete scene.
On the king-sized bed, an enormous alligator who had to be at least 8 feet tall sat against the headboard as he held the limp thighs of a kangaroo, who he was guiding headfirst into his mouth; the kangaroo's upper half was already out of sight and visibly lodged in the alligator's gullet, while everything from the waist down dangled from the reptile's wide, drooling maw. The kangaroo's large feet lazily kicked the air as his hips gently bucked--he was clearly riding the waves of an orgasm, as thick cum was flying from his erect cock and splattering against the alligator's scaled snout, all while the alligator's tongue flexed and cradled the marsupial he was wolfing down whole.
Meanwhile, a raccoon lay belly-down between the alligator's stretched legs, with his head planted in the reptile's crotch. The raccoon leisurely bobbed his head up and down along the girthy, pinkish, saliva-coated length that had proudly emerged from the alligator's slit, and audibly slobbered around the cock filling his mouth and throat. There was an unhurried quality to the raccoon's movements, as if he was simply enjoying himself; as Alan looked closer, he could see rings of purple, green, yellow, and blue swirling in the raccoon's eyes, showing just how hypnotized out of his mind he was.
Away from the bed and in the corner next to the window that looked out on the downtown skyline, Alan saw a tall grizzly bear sitting in the lounge chair; he swung a glowing pendant from his hand in front of the panther, rabbit, and Cane Corso lined up and kneeling on the floor in front of him like disciples. In the reflection of the window glass, Alan could see that all three of them had their mouths hanging open listlessly and their eyelids were drooping over the swirling colored rings in their own eyes.
Neither the alligator nor the bear stopped what they were doing with their hands, but they were both staring at Alan in shock as he entered the room.
"I...I'm so..." Alan couldn't even get the words out before he heard a toilet flush, and the bathroom door opened.
The stoat turned his head to see a buckskin horse, impossibly well-muscled and dressed in nothing but a leather bulldog harness and an orange pup hood that covered his face, staring at him.
Before Alan could so much as stumble backwards, the horse grabbed him by the shoulders, spun him around, and pulled him into a tight chokehold, wedging the stoat's neck into the crook of his arm that bulged with muscles. Alan gasped and spluttered as he tried to pry the horse's arm off of him, but he was too small, too weak, and too helpless to do more than pathetically flail against his captor. The horse, meanwhile, calmly dragged Alan forward as he made for the door...
He's going to let me go, Alan thought desperately.
The horse reached forward with his free hand, plucked the gold and black "Do Not Disturb" sign hanging from the door handle, and hung it on the front of the door. Alan's vision went black and he felt himself go limp as he heard the door swing shut.
