Hypnovember - Day 2: Wisps
#43 of Hypnosis
Continuing the vignettes from yesterday. I wanted to offer a different take on the prompt.
Ella sighed as she saw the glitch again. The little caracal reached up and tapped her visor, her brand-new AllTech Augmented Reality Visor, fresh out of the box just yesterday, which was not supposed to need updates for at least a month! Okay, so there had been some problems with hacking, but this wasn't hacking; it was just a glitch.
She tapped the visor again and looked around. The drizzly street corner was dimly lit with blinking lights and neon signs, but in her visor everything was shown clear and bright. When she looked at a nearby cafe, a pop-up on the visor showed her the latest specials and recent reviews. When she looked at a nearby clothing store, a dress was outlined in black and a message told her it was much more expensive here than at the store across town. When she looked at someone approaching her on the street, the visor asked her if she'd like to add the approaching wolf as a friend.
But wait, there it was again, like a little ball of light flickering across her vision.
The caracal brought up her hands and mimed typing on a keyboard. The visor picked up the motion and loaded her home computer virtually. Ella searched for glitches anyone else had experienced with the latest ARVs but couldn't find any reference to them. She sighed. She couldn't possibly be the only person to see this. The AllTech ARVs were new, but they weren't that new.
Thinking for a moment, the caracal tried turning as many settings as she could down to low, until she was looking out at the world with almost no augmentation whatsoever, just seeing the usual dreary street corner.
And there it was! This time it was clear, a ball of light with fuzzy edges, a wisp drifting across her vision. She peeked out behind the visor and it disappeared. She pulled the visors back up and there it was, hovering at the entrance to a nearby alleyway.
Ella leaned in, ears flicking in annoyance as she tried to make out better what the little wisp was. And as she looked, she noticed that the fuzzy edges weren't actually fuzzy. They were letters. And as she approached, a few letters fell off the ball to form words in front of her: "SPECIAL INVITATION."
Ella grinned. An invitation? To a party? Just for her? Oh this was too good.
She approached the alley. She had a moment of worry that this was a trick, but the alleyway wasn't dark and gloomy and full of muggers. It was just quiet and empty at this hour of the evening.
The ball of light swayed before her and dropped a few more letters: "FOLLOW."
Impatient wasn't it. She stepped in to the alley and the wisp darted quickly down to the far side. As she followed, she saw that the ball kept dancing just out of reach and moving at a good pace. She didn't have to run to keep up, but she had to walk quite quickly and was glad for the ARV alerting her to the presence of anything she might trip on, because she had to focus so hard on the darting wisp.
After four minutes, she was focused just on walking and on trying to make out the words that the distant wisp was dropping. It kept telling her about the party, and the invitation, and the special treat. There were other words too, but they were too indistinct and hard to make out, darting around her periphery faster than she could read.
There was a treat at the party, she got that already, so why did the ball of light have to make it so hard to follow, especially when there was still so much she had to do to get ready.
She bumped past a crowd of guys who whistled lewdly at her.
What, it wasn't like she was the only woman going out topless on the streets. A glance around through the ARV told her every other woman there was similarly naked from the waist up. Although there was a bit of ARV outline to them... Nah, it was probably nothing.
When the wisp led her down an alleyway again, this time it paused in a shadowy overhang. "GET READY," it said in words that flickered before her, as other instructions danced past her vision.
Of course she knew how to get ready. She quickly removed the rest of her clothes, leaving on only her boots and the visor itself. The rest of the clothes were tossed in a nearby dumpster. She wouldn't need them tonight.
Out on the street, everyone seemed to be staring. But she didn't mind. The ARV told her they were making positive comments on her profile and she trusted the visor. She even offered her breasts to a few and was rewarded with caresses and pinches and tweaks before the wisp beckoned her onward.
Finally the light turned and entered a building. It led her straight to the elevators and from there up to the twentieth floor penthouse.
When she opened the door an impressively rich looking tiger answered. He looked her over and called out over his shoulder. "Hey guys, the party treat is here."
Ella grinned. That was right. It was a party, a special party, and it needed an equally special treat: her.
The tiger drew down his fly and his shaft sprung out. It was immediately highlighted by the ARV and Ella bent over, starting to suckle it. At the same time a pair of hands behind her spread her cheeks and ran a thumb along her folds. She sighed in delight. She was going to make sure this was the best party ever for all of the guests.
The little wisp hovered in front of the tiger's now naked belly as he thrust into her. It told her that if she performed well, she would be invited back every week. The caracal squealed with delight as she read that and felt the tiger spurt his seed into her throat. She eagerly swallowed it down. She wanted to come back and swore to herself she'd be wearing her ARV every day from now on.
