Chapter 6: Gift of Love and Talking

Author's notes: Now we are approaching some things that are NSFW again, but the right kind due to the love and passion me and Holly have. The final three chapters will be NSFW so that's just a heads up.

Now that things had been explained and set up, the training and preparing for fighting against the enemy and eventual final battle was going at a wonderful rate. Everyone got stronger and made great strides, almost without noticing it. Thanks to precaution and knowing what was out there, the enemy still didn't know what Mocha, her friends, or those of the Eternal Halo were up to. Even the suspected Faolan wasn't run into as everyone had stopped going to that restaurant. And when that lupine did run into say Mocha while out in public, she always told him something that worked for him with not being able to go to really tell the truth for now. He understood as for now, the friend his favor owed him hadn't yielded the results the feline wanted with her family name. So there was no need to really interact with him at this time. Life went back to normal with this, well as normal as it could get with what was known. But for Nicholas and Holly, their bond, love, and relationship just kept growing and becoming something beautiful. Sure he had helped her with other things, but also all the training and helping the female with that too added to the former. For all of these things, the Arctic fox was so grateful and fell deeper in love with him than she already was. Nicholas had that happened too, but for a couple of other, but just as important reasons. One good thing was that Holly now had a much more cheaper and affordable place that wasn't scamming or ripping her off when it came to the rent. However, Holly still would often go to her boyfriend's place, not just to feel more safe even if her home had the protection placed on it, but also a way to be closer to him even more. But these visits never led to sex. Not yet anyways.

But the next thing that happened was after Nicholas and Holly had been dating for a month, he did something that touched her heart again in a way that made her love for him grow even more. It happened during September, and once again they were out on a date. The vixen did notice that the fosky seemed to be wincing a little due to some spots that were sore on his body. He had explained with a growl of annoyance that before picking her up, the male had told Aiko what he was doing as the fosky had to rearrange something when it came to preparing and training. The elderly red panda master of his had yelled at him, calling the male a dumbass again. It was so loud, it was like her voice shook the building where she was staying at, just like in an anime. Nicholas had been knocked back and hit his head. What made him pissed was that he had told Aiko about this earlier before, but she thought he had been leaving his duties to keep an eye on Mocha, rather than going on a date with Holly. "Will... will you be okay?" she asked with worry after her darling fosky boyfriend had finished explaining.

"I'll live; I have up to this point." Nicholas then got a smile. "Come on, let's not worry about that hun." Here he grabbed her paws and squeezed them with love. "After all, I need to treat you special and well babe."

Holly giggled and kissed his cheek. "Sounds marvelous to me!" the vixen said.

The couple in love had a lovely time. But it wasn't until the end where it would happen. They were near the place where they had first kissed and confessed their love. The only difference was that Holly and Nicholas were inside. But they were looking out a window, the vixen holding onto the fosky's right arm, her head against him with a happy smile. "Mmmmm..." Holly sighed happily. They were standing in front of a window where they could see the city landscape was taking on a gorgeous fall like look.

Nicholas chuckled. "You having fun?" he asked.

"I am..." Here they looked at the other with love. "Nicholas, all of this and everything with you as my boyfriend has made my life perfect."

"Yeah, same here..." The male felt the thing in his pocket, the thing he wanted to give his girl. "But... now there's something I want to do."

His vixen tilted her head to the side cutely. "What is it?"

"Well... I don't know if some would say it's too early for gifts. But I don't care."

"Wait... you got me a present?" Holly said, getting very happy, her tail starting to swish with excitement. Her facial expression was adorable again. "Honey you shouldn't have!"

"But I did Holly. And even more I made it with help from Cody. So it wasn't bought, just made with nothing but my love for you." The guy grabbed it from his pocket that was in a small box. "Here, this is for you..."

His vixen took it, a white colored box and opened it. She gasped when seeing what was inside. "Oh my..." Holly whispered. What she saw was a necklace, with an orb attached. But what made this different was that the orb was made of two halves that were different gem like substances. One was green, similar to Nicholas's eye color, the other was purple like hers.

"Honey... this is beautiful!" the vixen stated happily, tail wagging.

"Do you like it?" he asked. Her response was to lunge at her boyfriend, giving him in the most loved filled kiss of his life.

"I love it!" the female exclaimed. "I love it so much! I love you!"

The fosky smiled, kissing her again and rubbing their noses. "I love you too... I always will."

"I'll never take this off! Here, help me put it on!"

The male did with a loving touch and they admired it on the female. "It fits you well honey," he commented.

"It does!"

"However, there's more to it and it's important you hear this." Nicholas went on to explain that the two halves represented them being together, in love, and never meant to be with anyone else but the other. While the two gem like halves weren't real, they were good strong substitutes so nobody would think of stealing this. However, the necklace had other properties. Thanks to Cody who had helped the fosky make this, this necklace not only protected the Arctic fox from influence from the enemy, their evil powers and intent, and that included the poison in the stinging tail, and it was designed to withstand any fighting that might come up. Plus with it blessed, a Seleni couldn't grab and try to take it off of Holly without getting burned. But there was one last proprietie that touched Holly's heart the most other than having this being made with such love and passion for her. It would allow Nicholas to always sense and find her no matter how far apart they were.

"Ooooh... oh Nicky..." Holly cooed and they kissed with love. "I can't thank you enough for this! I will always wear this for protection but more to show our love and bond!"

"Yes, and it will show all but especially her that what we have is pure hearted and it can't be broken no matter what," he stated and his vixen nodded in agreement. "I love you..."

"I love you too... I love you so much..." They lip locked again.

The rest in the group saw it during the next meetup for training and the ladies thought it was very sweet of what Nicholas had done for Holly. Cody was happy the work he and the fosky had done had paid off. Aiko tried looking stern, but her eyes twinkled with a smile, showing her true feelings. And Byron said nothing, but knew Nicholas had done something special and good at the same time. The rest of September then passed as usual, but all of what Nicholas had done for Holly would lead to the next step in their relationship when the next month came rolling in.

It then become October and things were still progressing well in terms of the training. While the enemy hadn't made a move or the head bitch hadn't return from her little "trip", everyone was on constant alert just to be safe. However, with all the hard work sometimes breaks were needed. It was Meredith who suggested at the end of last month for just a little get together on Halloween. The female maned wolf had everyone gathered in a team meeting and explaining her idea. A few were definitely against it, but allowed her to argue her case. "Look, I know the enemy could come back at any time," she stated. "But... I feel it might do us some good. Just a small thing as a way to celebrate the progress we've made so far."

"Hmmm... I don't like the sound of it..." Nicholas saud, his lips furrowed in thought. "But then again I know all too well what a small break can do. After all, we've been training non-stop for about two months, maybe a little like three. And we've all made great strides so far."

"But is it enough?" Jen asked. "Sure, I am and feel a lot stronger than when we started. Mocha's certainly more in control, and even Lin and Holly are shinning. But if those beings arrive..."

"It is a possibility," Byron said. "However, where do you propose we have this take place Meredith?"

"I was thinking at me and Cody's place," the maned wolf answered. "It will be protected from the enemy."

"Hmmmmm..." The male racoon was also thinking hard like Nicholas.

"I say we go with it," Aiko then said. Everyone looked up to the female elderly red panda in shock. "After all..." Here she smirked. "We might benefit from a break. As long as we get back to work on training in a day or two. I think that's more than fair."

"Well look at you grandma, getting all soft on us," the fosky told her with a smirk of his own and joking.

"Don't get used to it; dumbass..."

"Plus with all of us Eternal Halo members there, I don't think the enemy would try anything," Cody added. "We'll be with Mocha and if one of those Seleni bitch scum are looking and spying, well, we can throw them off like last time. We've only done that trick once, we can do it again as long as we do it differently."

"Hmmm... the idea of a little get together sounds fine," the female feline said. "Okay, I say let's try it. Plus Cody and Meredith have never hosted us before."

It was decided and then started to be carefully planned for. Mocha did wonder if some of her gamer friends from the college she went at could attend too. She figured that way at least, maybe Lin or Jen wouldn't be bored and only a couple would come. The five Eternal Halo members agreed as long as they got a good sense of who she wanted to bring, just to make sure none of them were the enemy or influenced by them. It turns out none of them were and the feline did ask them and they were for it. It was to be noted that Faolan wouldn't be invited to this as being suspected as a Nephilim, it was for the best. That guy had no idea of this. But for Holly, things were a little different in a good way. The vixen knew a few things she wanted and needed Meredith's help since the manned wolf did know how to make some things clothing wise. "Hey, can you help me out please?" the arctic fox asked the maned wolf well in advanced as the former figured this would take a while and wanted it to be ready on time.

"Huh?" Meredith replied. The maned wolf was told and she was all for it.

"Of course I'll help Holly! Your boyfriend Nicholas's will love it!" The two ladies let out a happy laugh thinking of how the fosky was going to react.

But during the whole time of October leading up to the party, Holly's final thing was stirring in her mind. Ever since Nicholas had given her that necklace, and all the help he had been providing, the vixen was finding herself very much in love with her boyfriend. She knew the guy with long hair felt the same way. It was so much so, the vixen wanted it to be more. Not marriage of course, but the next step in a relationship. For one thing, it felt right and true. Also it felt much longer they had been going out due to the deep love the other had. It was to be noted this was taking place two weeks before the party.

"I... I'm just so happy I have you hun," she whispered and kissed him again. "You just make me so happy..."

"I aim to do that babe," he said softly. "You only deserve to be treated right. Not like some cum slut whore."

"Nicky..." she cooed and the couple deeply in love snuggled. "I really am happy I love you and you are my one and only. Although..." She looked at what he had done and without too much of an effort suddenly imagined it was him with her in something much more loving and passion. "Honey... you... you really want to have sex so soon?" he whispered, his tail starting to wag back and forth. The fosky nodded in understanding and touched her left cheek with his loving paw. "Thank you for letting me know this... I can now prepare so not only your first time will be loving and special as it's meant to be, but also in a place that you can be protected for any enemy... I think the best room would be here at my place..."

"That sounds marvelous!" Holly replied happily. "So what should we do?" It was then planned and Nicholas made sure everything was ready for this. Both him and the vixen were excited and the thought made their hearts race with anticipation. But they were more than ready, her especially, to go that next step. And it showed love could be true and right, even on Halloween. And in a sense, that could be the scariest thing to many who didn't get it.

Author's notes: I know that Holly is a virgin. I strongly suspected from observing from the comic and extra stuff on ABD's patreon. But he basically confirmed what I thought. So in the comic my Holly is a virgin. And no matter what I will always truly be her first.
