A Happy Place

A Happy Place

They both needed this. Hell, a lot of people in the world needed an escape from the bullshit going on right now. But unlike a great many others, Aubrey knew that she was in a position to help. Not to change the world on a grand scale, though she wished that she could, but to aid those closest to her in a tangible way by reducing their stress, and granting them a little time free from any of their anxieties and frustrations.

She repeated as the music took on a reverberating tone, and even though she was standing up, fully alert and engaged, the gyrfalcon felt herself grow momentarily drowsy as the full hypnotic effect of the rhythmic tune began to take effect.
