Clarity - Chapter 6: Starry Sky
#7 of Clarity
While Bonnie's getting home from a lovely morning at Clover's, Kylie's busy getting ready for a date with a shy guest from the night before... and it may lead to something more by the end of the night.
This is it. The first chapter of this story I'd consider Adult. Probably nowhere near as raunchy as what we're used to on this site, but hey, tag 'em like ya see 'em, and playing it safe is far better than being sorry for a lack of diligence later. All the better to allow these two to have a wonderful night.
I thought I'd have to more directly discuss how far it goes, but thankfully, the tags have me covered this time around. I'll not spoil the fun for you beyond that~
Mmkay. So. This whole morning was spent on just finding' a proper outfit for tonight. And getting my braid right. And picking between my bracelets. Can't believe I'm gettin' this worked up over a date. Heck, Jill's the one who called ME this mornin', even after Charlotte's little one-question quiz show about me last night ended with her lovely assistant walking straight into a minefield of laughter at her expense. Talk about a rebound, eh?
So then, nothin' too fancy; just khakis with warm stockings underneath for the cold, a lavender turtleneck, and a brass hoop bracelet with a couple baubles looped through. You got this, Kylie. You're not trying too hard or nothin'. She's gonna love it. Just need to breathe a bit... get that ringing outta your ears... no, wait, ringing? My phone!
Can't be sure how long it's been going, so I wind up divin' onto the bed and grabbing it, answering as quick as I can. I better not have gone through the past few hours for nothin'...
"Jill? Did somethin' happen? Anything I can do?" After sitting in silence for a few seconds, suddenly I hear... laughter? What?
"Ohhhhh, that girl's got you on pins and needles, DOESN'T she, Ky~? And here I thought you'd be a bit hesitant to show off that Picasso painting running up your-"
"Y-You shut it, Clover! Geez..." Aaaaand that's one thing I'm not gonna hear the end of this weekend. Thanks in advance, kitty cat.
"What're ya callin' for, anyways? Bone made it home safe or somethin'?" Bone... god, she scared me stiff, seeing her so out of it like that. And whatever's goin' on at home, it nearly sent her straight into a panic attack. And I just... Clover's the only reason it didn't get worse. I couldn't even take her in. This whole place could burn for all I'd care if I didn't need a cheap pad, so long as the she-devil's makin' the rules. I could've done SOMETHIN' for Bone if it weren't for that landlady and the pole shoved so high up her ass you can see it in the back of her throat. Dammit...
"Oh yeah, she's fine. In fact, she was SO fine, she got up before me on her hangover. And made breakfast. Woke me up with the smell, too. Find me a better stack of pancakes in the city. You won't." ...huh? Wait, waitwait, back up, WHAT the FU-
"W-WHAT?!"
"You heard what I said, Ky. Pancakes. At least seven per plate, with batter to spare only because I stopped her early. It was no easy hangover, either, she was pretty clearly in pain while she went at it." GodDAMMIT, Bone, can ya think of yourself for once?! I swear, that girl is so...! So... so sweet. Sweeter than sugar, sweeter than anyone. That's Bone. Heh, now I get TWO reasons to mentally tell the she-devil to go jump in a lake over last night, if that's what I missed. One little sigh, and let's get back to the matter at hand...
"Ya know what... yeah. I shouldn't be surprised; that girl's unstoppable. Treasure whatcha got, Clover, that right there was the full treatment. The kinda thing you don't get unless she calls ya over for dinner."
"Ohhhhoho, don't get my hopes up, Ky! I might just see about that if she calls..." And what's that I hear, Clover? And you thought you could tease me about Jill, when I can practically hear the face you're makin'?
"Cloooover... hope I don't need to remind you she's married, ya frisky kitty!"
"I'll behaaaaave, Ky, I swear. Cross my heart and hope to die, her cooking's all these lips'll get a taste of~"
"GOD, Clover!!"
"HaHAAAA, knew that'd getcha! Seriously, though, that's... that's a line I won't cross myself. It'd hurt her and break your trust, not to mention it'd tear her hubby apart from the inside. I wouldn't have much left, and neither would she; what I'd be willing to give up is my own business, and you know I'm not, but I can't do something that'd take that angel's wings. Even ignoring the bit where I'd ALSO be a wreck after breaking her life beyond repair, it'd defeat the point of charming her; she'd never speak to me again. Okay, Ky?"
"...okay. I getcha. You already know what happens if you hurt her, anyways... am I right?"
"Ah yeah, what was it again... "Heads will roll and machines will crumble," yeah? Very thorough of you, Ky." Heh, she remembers. And she knows to keep it clean, for sure. Her babies fulla hardware make for good threats. Can hardly rely on the moral standpoint for these things, even if you know they wouldn't hurt a fly.
"Exactly, Clover. Good on ya for that."
"Now, I just finished cleaning up breakfast, and I think you were getting ready for a night of rough, sweaty, EXTREMELY gay-"
"DAMMIT, Clover!" I must be red as a ripe tomato about now. I'll be lucky if it goes down before I'm supposed to be there. Frickin' tease. I can hear you cackling, ya know.
"Allllright, I'll let you get back to it. Lemme guess, a simple, demure outfit to avoid scaring her off~?"
"Y-You don't know! Shove off, ya tease!"
"Hey, better than trying to show off skin in the winter! Talk to you later, charmer."
"Haaah... talk to ya later, pussycat." God, she just mashes every frickin' button she finds on me, doesn't she. At least I can get my mind off her and Bone now; it's about time to head out. A coat with a warm lining, one white scarf wrapped around my neck, and some high winter boots, and I can take anything a chilly evening can throw at me.
A couple flights of stairs later, I'm on my way down the street. No bus necessary, the place she picked turned out to be right near my home turf. It's just about 12 or 15 minutes down the street before I spot that black-as-night fur, already seated outside the café and nose-deep in her sketchbook. Heh, she really is eager for today. Cute. She's even got a tan beret on to match her thick sweater, and a long, dark green dress. Must not mind the cold much if she got us a table outside, but then again, she might just be tryin' to avoid people taking shelter from the elements inside. Fair enough.
"Got here early, eh?" Oooh... thought I spooked her for a moment, but she brightened up when she noticed who was talking. I'll take that compliment. After taking a moment to put her sketchbook back in her bag, she turns back to me, the smile on her face getting wider by the second.
"I, um... I'm glad you came. After last night. I kind of... well, I shouldn't have-"
"Aw, don't bother yourself none about that. I'd half-expect Charlotte knew you'd walk into that one."
"R-Really? But she... well, it's been a bit much being around her, but I still feel... safe with her, somehow. Like a mother."
"Ha! Well, you're not wrong there. She's a bit more, uh... crafty with her methods than the average ma, though, figure or otherwise. I mean that she figured that'd lead into somethin' you'd like. ...though the tall mug of beer she'd just slammed back may have also contributed, who knows. And whadda ya know, we make quite a pair at a café table, don'tcha think?"
"O-Oh, I- Y-Yeah, hehehee..." Heh, there we go. She's blushing again, that little red star.
"See? No need to worry 'bout before. Heck, we can even make a fresh introduction, if you'd like."
"That'd be n-nice, I think."
"'Kay then! Well miss, fancy stumbling upon a dame like yourself at a humble establishment like this one. But where're my manners, haven't even given my name yet. Kylie Grenier, m'lady~" Heheh, what a show. I even put a hand forward, back side up, in that classic motion. It's a silly thing, anyway, she'll just shake it and- uh. Oh wow. What's that... that GLINT in her eyes all of a sudden??
"Hmhm... well, Miss Grenier, I'll do you the h-honor. Jill North is the name of your f-fine lady." Oh. Oh gosh, I- she's taken my hand and- wow, s-she really went through with it, h-holy- ...can't say I'll forget how her lips felt on the back of my hand. Silky smooth, even in the cold. Wow...
"W-Well, I figured it was my turn to make you blush, K-Kylie, hehee..." Well, goddamn. She's right. I didn't notice, but my cheeks're burnin' up. She's got quite the playful side to her, it seems.
"Well, damn... ya got me there. So didja wanna order somethin', or are you planning on working your charms all night?"
"Oh, I'd not keep you out here without... without a hot drink, at least. Pick anything else you'd like, too. My treat, after what you did for M-Miss Bonnie last night." I wince at the statement. Guess she knows. Thought no one could see me do that...
"...so ya saw all that, huh? Not like I did much. Clover did mosta the work."
"I wouldn't call h-handing most of... most of her share back and covering her 'nothing,' Kylie. She had enough reason to be t-terrified last night. You saw me skip the drinks, right? I'm like... h-her. Panicky, skittish under the influence. I had a night like that. I-It went... It went, um..." Ah great, I can see her retreating into herself, just about hugging a menu, too. No need to be nervous here, silly.
"Hey. No need to go into whatever happened. It's pretty clear it wasn't no walk in the park, so let's leave it at that, eh?"
"Well, I... I didn't have anyone like you or Miss Clover, that much I can say. I wish I did. You did well, okay Kylie?" Heh... fine, maybe I can give myself some credit. Leave it to a shinin' star to guide me through that.
"...ahhhh, alright. That's fair. Well then, I'll take you up on your offer. Don't worry, I won't stretch ya too thin, 'kay?" A sweet little giggle from her, and we manage to get someone's attention out here to order. The small talk feels nice, for once. Mosta my coworkers, it's all idle chatter until somethin' neat comes up, but Jill? She's here to have a good time, and that's clear in how she guides and adds to our talk, even if her nerves clearly aren't bein' kept fully in check.
After what feels like hardly a minute, our orders are here. A coffee paired with a dish of creamy potato soup and a shredded cheese garnish for me, and a hot cocoa alongside a toasted sandwich of cheese, tomato, eggplant, and spinach for Jill. Seems we both leaned towards simple, but... I can hardly think of anything more suited to a couple warming up as the sun's going down. She looks so relaxed compared to when she's at work, just trying to coast by and contribute her fair share. No matter what happens tonight, seein' that cute little smile? Now that's worth the effort this morning.
"So uh, Kylie... I know this whole thing got started asking about your... patterns... so I thought, maybe you'd like to talk about what we're both expecting? Just to g-get it settled?" Ahhh, the big questions. Seems I'll be making a return appearance on this little quiz show, with the lovely assistant stepping up to the starring role.
"You know what, yeah, fair enough. Honestly? I'm cool with wherever ya wanna take this. It's been stellar, but I don't wanna assume what you expect to happen now or later. So then, I defer to you, m'lady... what DO you prefer from all this?" There we go. She's thinking, and takin' the opportunity to finish her sandwich, even grabbed the little hunk of cheese that'd melted and made its own little statue on the plate. She knows what she likes, huh? Then I'm ready for anything she can say, I'd like to think. Whatever she wants.
"Well... this bit's usually something of a coin flip on how it goes, but I... I'm just not ready for a committed r-relationship right now. I'd rather not explain that further, but what I do want from these endeavors are good friends. And if that happens to end in certain... d-discoveries, and the like... then all the better. I mean, I guess that might match what some people look for in a relationship anyway, but I just... it's kind of the principle of the thing. I might like to, someday, and who knows how many... well, close friends, that I'd want that with when I'm ready. I want to cross that bridge when I get to it, but I fully intend to enjoy my time on this shoreline. Does... does that make sense, Kylie?"
"I think so, yeah. I got no problem respectin' that. You do you, it sounds just fine by me regardless." Kinda stings like... a LITTLE that it's off the table right now, but I guess it's moreso, like... the officiality of it? Sounds like I'll end up getting to know her just as well as if we really were goin' steady. I can live with that, for sure. And if she finds she's ready? Heh, I fully intend to be among the options. She said she wasn't sure how many, yeah...? Sounds like better odds, to me. Good to meet new people, too; they'd have to be special to score a date or three under the beautiful night sky I'm lookin' at, and it ain't even dark yet~
"T-That said, I- I, uh..." Oho, is that blush back? This oughta be good!
"Even with all that laid out would you... w-would you like to, um... a-accompany me home, for the n-n-night...?" D'awww, she's getting smaller and smaller just askin'. And again, there's no need for her to be so wound up. Was there ever any doubt with me, Jill?
"Heh. Well, Lady North, why don't we get our bill taken care of... and you can lead the way to your humble abode?" Hoooo, she's so excited she just might blast off into the night. Attagirl. You're absolutely precious like this. A hand pressed into mine, and we're ready, stopping inside for some warmth and our bill, then walkin' opposite of where I came. Seems she lives closer than I thought. Must be nice to have a quaint, quiet place like that café nearby to focus on your craft, then to come home while starin' up at a starlit sky. I've got one of my own now, though, hehe. Soon enough, we're at another of the many apartment complexes in the city. Guess this one's owner is less of a hardass.
A couple flights of stairs, and I find myself walkin' through Jill's front door while she playfully holds it open as if to say "Right this way, Miss Grenier." Cute. Just a couple things to leave at the entryway, and soon enough, she's got me by the hand again. Eager, ain'tcha, Jill? She opens a door and pulls me inside, giving me just enough time to notice the decent-sized bed in the center of the room before closing the door behind us and pullin' me close. REALLY eager, heh. One long look in those eyes, and I can't help but kiss her. Those lips're j-just as soft as before... If she's ready for this, so am I. Just... breathe. The next part'll be hard to keep calm, but it'll be oh-so worth it if I can manage.
"So, cutie... I do believe you wanted to know where the pattern ended, eh? So how about a show, just for you?"
"Y-You mean it?! I- I, um... yes. I'd love that, Kylie." Whew. Okay. Step one. I can feel her grip fade, replaced with a gentle nudge towards the bed, givin' me space for what comes next. Breathe... breathe. You've got this.
"Well, first things first..." I turn my back to her, setting the stage to pull my braid apart. A hairband or two removed, and all that's left is to make a show of it, running my fingers through it from the top, red hair unwinding as they go, reaching all the way down my back. Clover's might be longer, just maybe, but as to who's longer to scale... that's a mystery I haven't investigated. As I feel the resistance end, I shake my head to give a little flourish and look back at Jill. She's breathing faster. She knows what's next, naughty girl.
"So, lesson one regardin' my fur... the stomach blends together and swirls around, like so..." Breathe. Steady breaths. Everything's fine. Just gently... ever so gently... start pulling the turtleneck over my head. I can feel the cool air touch me as I lift higher, traveling up my chest. Soon enough, she's got a good view of that swirlin' pattern, and I've tossed my shirt to the side. It's hardly welcome in bed tonight, anyways, and it should know that. The gray sports bra I'm showing her is more welcome, but... I get the feeling it'll join that shirt in the corner soon enough.
"See? Like mixed paints... all along here." With that, I trace along the lines where black becomes orange, letting my fingers travel slowly and tenderly, brushing the fur with gentle strokes. Seems this's well-received so far, if her eyes bein' locked onto my fingers are a trustworthy source... and I'm sure they are.
"I see... and is there, u-um... is there more to know?" Heheh, already near beggin'. I didn't have to worry. ...still, breathe. Keep calm. You can handle this. Just look at her. Think of tonight. Get your breathing under control and keep it there, ya dumb bun, dammit...
"Oh, there sure is. Ya see, up my thighs, you might recognize this sorta fur pattern, but... with a bit of a twist." I get the khakis unbuttoned, lower the zipper, and begin the second act of my little show, turnin' around for her. I make sure to bend over when getting them all the way off, too. See, Jill? I'll make ya blush even harder yet! The coat matches the cuffs when it comes to my underwear; never liked that fancy stuff. Doesn't pair well with my fur.
"See? It's a simple area of the opposite, faded color on each side, like most people, but, well... there's a naughty little pointed stripe of orange where it should be black. Leading right... up... here~" Spreading my thighs apart to show her, again, I trace my fingers along the odd spot out. Heh, that stripe's like a treasure map to her prize later. She's gettin' reeeeeeal worked up, too; she's tugging at her own sweater, wonderin' if she should join me in showin' off.
"Ya know, you could free yourself up a bit before we get to your final lesson. I promise ya, it'll be worth it, cutie!"
"A-Ah, I... if you'd like, heeehehee..." Perfect. The sweater and dress come off faster than I expected, quickly revealing more curves along the sides than I could've hoped for. Hiding those from the world oughta be a crime, but with how shy she gets in public, fair enough. It makes seein' it here in her little sanctuary all the sweeter. And red lingerie, too...? Ohhhh boy, this girl was ready for tonight this whole time!
"Aw, didja put those on just for me? They pair well with that figure you've been keepin' to yourself."
"I- I-I mean, I- fair enough, but just... hehee, thank you. I know I haven't said it yet, but... you look wonderful, Kylie. Everything I imagined and more." O-Oh. She's... she's gettin' bold. That look in her eyes is comin' back, too. Seems I won't have much time left before... b-before... BREATHE, Kylie, BREATHE-
"Well... seein' as how we're both showing off, I think you're ready for the final lesson." My hands travel up to my sports bra, and her eyes go wide. You wanted a show, Jill? You'll get one. I pull higher, careful not to catch the edges on anything sensitive. After that, it's just a matter of pullin' it over my head and through my hair. That's it, then. On full display, save for down south. I reach up and toy with 'em a bit, ready to finish this lesson.
"See, it kinda... well, the pattern almost looks like half a bra on one side. The other's more like my stomach, all swirled. I'm sure you get how this works by now, yeah?" As she nods hurriedly, I begin tracing one last time. This is... it's a bit harder to focus properly, but it feels even better than just teasin' her. Even when a... well, a less-furry spot, gets caught in the crossfire, the little pleasant jolt just gives her some vocals for the show's finale. That's... that's all I had planned, right there. What now?
"So, Jill... I take it this has been enlightening?"
"Very, Kylie. V-Very..." She's practically shakin'. ...I might be too, if I'm bein' honest. So close to the end, so just... stay... calm...
"Then... I take it you'd like to put your lessons to good use, oh captive audience?"
"Oh yes, I'd- I'd love to. Just a moment, then..." And here we are... my own little main event. Heh, her tail's even wagging a bit. Nowhere near as easy as Bone on that matter, but it's cute all the same. Reaching behind her, fiddlin' with that clip, I hear it come undone. She's... god, she's teasin', letting the straps fall as slow as she can make 'em, and- wait. She's reaching for the... the light? I-
Darkness. I can't make anything out. I can hear somethin', though: the sound of somethin' landing in the corner, then another. ...wait, two? That means s-she's...!
Before my eyes can adjust, I catch sight of a shadow, darting across the room, straight at me. I realize what's goin' on just before she crashes into me with unheard-of precision, leavin' me pinned beneath her in a fluid motion. Legs, too. Mmph. God, she's... holy shit, girl, you're ravenous. All I can see for now is those glimmering, golden eyes, starin' down into mine. This is it. I- oh god, why c-can't I- b-breathe, breathe, breeeeeathe, I-
"...Kylie? Are you okay with this? Everything's fine?" ...I-I can move. My wrist's free. So where did- o-oh. She's... gently touching my cheek, her thumb tracing gentle patterns. Calming ones. Yeah, she's... she's right there. Even like this, I know I'll be fine. I'm in her care. Know that... and relax. You're fine.
"Y-Yeah... Yeah. I'm okay, Jill. Don't hold back on my account, ya hear me? I wanna make this special for ya."
"Okay, Kylie... you be sure and let me know if you need to stop. Telling me not to h-hold back is... well, that might be a mistake you'll be all too aware of shortly."
"Then I dare ya to prove it, 'kay?" Eyes adjusting a bit, I can see her smile warmly at that one as her hand takes its proper place in mine, fingers quickly interlocked; the other hand follows suit, givin' me reassurance I've got some control here. She musta been worried for a bit there. No reason to worry, ya cutie, I keep tellin' ya that. She leans down, starting to press into me as she lets her lips part yet again...
...and in the next moment, I'm wrapped in a starlit sky.
