You turn and dash toward the far side of the island and reach the shore. You see a scaly body out in the ocean break the surface and then slink back down below the water again. Then you see and feel a claw wrap around you and are lifted up to look the dragon in the face that was laying down moments ago.

"You run away. Why did you wake me up and then run away. That was rude. I outta eat ya," The dragon growls in your face.

The cries of the others reach you but you don't see them except for the dragon and its scaley chest as it stands there. The wind is whispy up at this height of a football field and you can only look up into the dragon's face helplessly as you are clutched there, barely able to move in its clutches.

Eventually, the dragon lowers you and you are able to see the other creatures gathered around its legs.
