Camilla - The Conquerer, Chapter 15
#15 of Camilla Queen, the Conquerer
Chapter 15
"Captain," Isis purred in exuberant delight as the trio entered the bridge.
"Now it's getting to be a conspiracy," Onaris growled.
"Don't worry my dear, no one is going to steal their ship," the human goddess placated.
"Why does that still not reassure me?"
"Miss Isis," Degreen interjected. "I'm honored to see her on the bridge."
"Suck-up!" it escaped Camilla.
"Not now, and especially not here," the captain replied ambiguously.
"Oh please, not that," Anuset sighed.
"Never mind. What is their desire?" the captain echoed.
"It's about some stuff on Sirius A and then on Sirius B," Isis started.
"Oh, no. I was afraid it would be."
"I told you there was a conspiracy afoot," the Hyena growled again.
Suddenly the alarm siren blared and a computer voice rang out, "Attention! Alien ship on collision course."
"Computer! Alarm on mute!" shouted the First, looking annoyed. "Is there an ID yet?"
"Negative."
"Is the ship type identifiable?"
"Negative."
"Is there anything at all to help us?"
"Negative. Neither ship type nor origin can be traced," the computer replied repeatedly, "Arrival in twenty minutes."
"Great," escaped the hyena. "We've got something coming and we're as thick as two short planks. - Computer, give me the view on the monitor, maximum magnification."
"Image coming," the voice buzzed.
"What is that?" asked Onaris rhetorically.
"That looks like ...", Camilla started and was interrupted by Anuset, "... oh no. That's all I need. I know the disc shape with two horns."
"What do you have?" asked the fox-wolf.
"It's Nephtys," groaned the Taur.
"WHAT?" screeched Onaris.
"Nephtys. How did the snake find us?" mused Anuset.
"More importantly, what does it want?" asked Degreen.
"That doesn't really matter. Either way, it's going to be noisy, messy, and most of all, disgusting," sighed Anuset.
"Do you think she'll dig up the old chestnuts?" asked Camilla.
"You bet your life she is. That rotten little tick."
"And you were really a married couple?"
"Forced marriage. That sort of thing doesn't usually go well. But I already told you that story."
Isis stood a little paler than usual and had sat down. "This can't happen now," she whined.
"Trouble?" asked Captain Degreen.
"Yes, there's real trouble coming. Especially I don't know if it's just Nephtys," Isis replied worriedly.
Camilla looked to Anuset. "Can you handle it?"
"I can handle Isis, after all, and there the differences were much more serious. However, Isis had her reasons, with Nephtys it's different. She had no cause for complaint at all. It's a wonder no one has slapped her against the wall yet."
"Now, now," Isis admonished.
"Because of me. First see what she wants and if she's alone."
Captain Degreen stretched his stallion figure, sharpened his gaze. "First, call the ship."
"The link is up. The pilot wants to talk to Seth."
"Mister Anuset. That's up to them now," the stallion relayed to the Taur.
"This is Anuset. With whom do I have the pleasure."
"This is Nephtys. Who the heck is Anuset?"
"I am Anuset," came the curt reply.
"Very funny, but I'm not in the mood," the goddess squealed.
"Nor did I say anything that was in any way funny. I am Anuset the Taur. I am Anubis and Seth."
"WHAT, you disgusting creep. Anubis is a nice guy. How did you asshole manage to soul a body with him?"
"Because I'm a nice and sweet guy too. But for details, please ask Camilla."
"Who is that?"
Camilla stepped into the picture. "I'm Camilla Queen, and I'm his partner."
"I should have guessed. Birds of a feather flock together. It's all just cheap," Nephtys remarked, spooking toward the camera.
The fox-wolf's carotid arteries swelled. "Watch it you ugly bitch, if you're going to come here and cause trouble, you better get out of my way. Otherwise, even your fucking divine aura won't help you."
"Oh my. Now it's not just getting cheap, it's getting melodramatic," she continued to tease.
Camilla's arteries were not only swelling now, under her fur the heat of anger was growing, she was getting into a rage and it was plain to see.
"Honey," Anuset whispered, "this isn't helping. Besides, you're making me extremely horny right now."
The fox-wolf looked abruptly at him, glaring angrily. "So, my anger is making you horny right now? Good for you, but don't think I'm going to get down on my knees and suck your dick right now, I'd rather bite your glans off."
"Okay. I didn't mean it like that," Anuset placated his partner.
"Better be," she hissed, turning back to Nephtys, "And now for you, you lousy whore. When you get on board, run. Run as fast as you can and stay away from Anuset and me. Is that clear?"
"I don't think you little worm is a match for me, and you'll feel it when we come face to face," Nephtys replied arrogantly.
"Girls!" shouted Isis between them, "That's enough. Camilla, you be quiet. Nephtys, what do you want?"
"I want to stop that freak called Seth from getting his hands on the fragments of Osiris."
"I am Anuset you conniving beast," the Taur shouted. "I am Seth and Anubis, and you know yourself that Anubis would never allow Seth to get the fragments unless there was a valid reason."
"Ah? And what would that be?"
"Come aboard and we'll sort it out, here on the bridge. And do yourself a big favor."
"Which is?"
"Don't overdo it."
"Is that a warning?"
"Just a friendly hint."
"Oh, you and friendly? Aren't you supposed to have manners?"
"What did I just say?"
"Yes. I'm coming aboard."
The connection was terminated.
"Any advice?" the first officer asked Onaris, addressing Captain Degreen.
"Not really. I'm a little at a loss at the moment, since I haven't had a situation like this before."
"But I have," Anuset interjected, "and I'm going to the docking bay. If anyone can handle Nephtys, it's me."
"Forget it!" noted Camilla, "you're not going alone. There's no way I'm going to risk you falling into the clutches of that poisonous syringe."
"Very kind of you, but do you think that's a good idea? You're already at 180, after all, and I wouldn't want to see a rocket launch aboard the cruiser."
"I'll come along, too," Onaris intoned. "After all, I'm the first officer, so I'm authorized to give orders."
"That's a much better idea," Anuset confirmed.
"Then let us go. Now we already have four of you gods on board."
"We have many more on offer," the Taur trumpeted.
"Indeed, but four is enough for me now. I don't want the whole sculpture set on the ship."
"I'll call Stephen and Frank to it," Camilla decided.
"You won't," growled Anuset.
"Nope. Frank is self-contained, a typical AI, purely logical, and Stephen - he'd never forgive me to the end of time if I denied him that chance."
At the same moment, Isis picked up the phone and dialed the number of Stephen's cubicle, not even waiting for her wolf to fully introduce himself. "Drop your resume. Grab Frank and meet me at the docking ramp."
"What's waiting for me there?"
"Me."
"That's reason enough, but is there more?"
"Nephtys is coming aboard."
"Oh. Do you think that's going to work out?"
"No. That's why I want you and Frank there, too. Anuset's already in defense mode, while your dear stepsister went after Nephtys with death threats at first contact."
"Oh, that sounds like a lot of fun."
"Watch this, sweetie. The situation is pretty darn serious and I'm not in the mood for stupid remarks," Isis admonished him.
"Yes, my sweet. We're on our way."
"There you go!" said Isis still and hung up.
"Let's go!" intoned Onaris and left the bridge, while the others followed inch by inch.
"Yes, go ahead. Go. I'll stay - for now - on the bridge and wait for the casualty reports," Degreen muttered, sitting down in the middle of the bridge.
"Couldn't they have waited until we landed?" grumbled Onaris as they made their way to the docking bay.
"And then what?" asked Camilla.
"Then the whole thing would no longer be our problem, but the ground crew's."
"Oh, yes. I forgot," Anuset groaned in understanding.
"Anyway, it's there now and we have to deal with it."
The quartet posted themselves to the side of the airlock and waited. The countdown to the right side of the bulkhead was running, indicating the ship's arrival in five minutes.
A few moments later, Stephen and Frank Simson arrived.
"Ah, you've found us," Camilla stated.
"No, we just happened to be passing by, saw you standing around and wanted to ask if there was any delicious ice cream," Stephen teased.
"Ass," escaped Isis.
"I know, my goddess. And no ass is as tight as mine."
Camilla rolled her eyes and turned to Isis, "You'd better educate him, put him on a leash if necessary."
"I do that already, but somehow he always manages to make me weak."
"I just have a clever tongue, too," the wolf announced.
"Boah. Anuset has that too, but I don't talk about it."
"Just leave the tongue with me, too, please," Isis begged.
"Why should it be any different?" echoed Stephen.
"You'll meet Nephtys in a moment and understand what I mean by that."
At that moment, the docking port beeped, gave the green light, and the airlock opened.
A female human figure emerged from the light mist of moisture.
"Welcome Nephtys," Isis began, nodding curtly.
"Isis. I am very pleased to see you."
"Let me introduce you to Camilla Queen," the goddess continued, pointing to the fox-wolf.
"So you are this Queen. I've heard and read about you before. Well, I was actually planning to kill you on the spot, but whoever manages to tame a puke like Seth should live on and suffer," the goddess fluted, raising her head so high that rainwater could run up her nose.
"You really are too kind," Camilla growled, clenching her fists.
"You're sooooo cute when you get mad. You're just what Seth needs. Angry little females make him horny, he'll squirt right up in the air and he won't need your wet pussy anymore."
"Lousy piece," Camilla rumbled again. "I'm going to kill you."
"Oh how droll. - Watch this, little girl. I'll bet you're into the rough stuff, probably go off like a rocket when you see Seth's boner and can't get fucked enough by him."
Camilla saw red, took a swing and slammed her fist right into Nephty's face with full force.
We may be immortal, but we are not invulnerable and that is our real fear. - These words of her Taur suddenly ran through Camilla's mind as the fist landed purposefully on Nephty's nose, breaking the nose bone with a loud crack, the goddess toppled over and remained lying there.
Stephen and Frank stood there, eyes widening the moment Camilla lashed out and parked her fist in the stranger's face, Stephen stretched both arms forward, wanting to stop his stepsister.
He missed.
Isis, Anuset and first officer Onaris went cadaverously pale, which was an impossibility especially with the already cadaverous Isis, but still worked.
Camilla looked at her fist after the blow and contorted her face in pain.
And Nephtys... she just fell over backwards like a wet bag of rice. There was a dull thud and she didn't even flinch.
The clock was ticking... Nephtys lay felled like an old tree after a lightning strike on the ground and everyone around seemed to have frozen.
"Boah," Stephen suddenly cried out loudly. "Did you guys see that? My little sister flattened a goddess. Camilla, I'm really proud of you. You and I can really flatten Egyptian gods."
"Is that some kind of sport with you?" doubted Anuset.
Camilla looked at him speechless, searching for words, suddenly running away crying.
"Run after her," Isis urged him. "That was mighty stupid now, but it can't be helped. RUN!"
As fast as the taur could, he hurried after the fox-wolf.
"And we'll have a talk now, my dear wolf. What was that remark you just made?"
"It wasn't meant seriously. It was just shock."
"I should hope so for your sake. Otherwise, you can massage your stick again yourself from now on."
"No, I really didn't mean that the way it came across," Stephen placated.
"But you're right about one thing," Isis added.
"About what?"
"Your sister is laying Anubis and Seth and you're grabbing me on the mattress. Which I guess two gods isn't enough for your sister, she's got to overdo it and knock off number three."
"That's just my sis, she always has to do it thoroughly."
"That's right," Anuset's voice rang out. He had returned to the scene unnoticed with Camilla.
"My dear," Isis began, addressing Camilla, "you have quite a blow on your body."
"It's her own fault, isn't it? And I can really understand Seth now."
"With what? That he killed my husband?"
"No. But the whole thing with Nephtys really sucks."
"I agree with you there, though, and a lot of things could have gone differently if we'd known what she was like beforehand."
"Oh," Anuset snapped. "Is that an apology I hear from you?"
"Not really, call it a justification instead."
"Isis, even your shadow is not unbridgeable. But you just can't get over it," the Taur stated.
Meanwhile, Greta the rater from the medical department had arrived and was bending over Nephty's body.
"Who did this?" she finally asked.
"Me," Camilla admitted.
"Respect. You've got a real hammer."
"Not me, but Anu..." she tried to start, but was nudged rudely by her companion.
"This isn't a good time," he whispered. "But, if it makes you feel better. She'll have respect for you from now on, and I'm craving you right now, my testicles are tightening uncomfortably."
"Later, my hot stud. You'll have to wait a little longer. It will be all the better for it."
"I'm looking forward to it."
"I want the stud tonight."
"I always have been," he whispered back.
"No," she breathed, "you've always been the gentleman jackal. I sensed that. When we were in the sauna, you had a knot and a male penis. The stud wasn't hanging between your thighs until you were sitting across from me."
"You were paying attention."
"I said to you that I could trust you."
"True."
"That's exactly why. You would never hurt me."
"I promised you that when I was a robot."
Camilla gave him a long and intense kiss, which was returned by Anuset.
"Hey you two," Greta interjected. "This is all great, and I'm sure it wasn't meant for my very sensitive rat ears, but the Goddess needs to go to the infirmary. The nose bone is definitely broken, plus she got a nasty concussion when she hit the deck of the ship."
"Concussion? How can that be if there's nothing there," Isis stated.
"Such words from your mouth?" asked Anuset.
"Do you think it's your fault that that one," she pointed to the knockout goddess, "ran up to my husband and got screwed?"
"Well, I didn't seem to bring it," the Taur stated, shrugging his shoulders.
"Sorry about that. But your drivel wasn't just heard by Greta. If you're really jackal and stallion, then you can do it to others entirely. She's just stupid, even to fuck," growled Isis.
"Wow, Isis. You're getting hot right now," Stephen panted at her.
"The sex craze has hit," whimpered butler Frank Simson, raising his hands.
"And me poor rat has to get it on my own in the room again. Sucks when everything around you has a partner and fun."
"Miss Greta," first officer Onaris interjected, "wouldn't it be time to take care of the patient? I hardly think it's advisable for this one to regain consciousness."
"Excuse me, Miss Onaris. I'll get right on it."
"Put her on my back," Anuset urged the rater. "That's what we Tauren are for in the first place."
"Interesting," Greta intoned. "It seems that not only divine sides are opening up, but practical ones as well."
"That's a very different story. A very sad one, which I'll be happy to tell later. It is part of the later downfall of man."
"Oh, more god worlds?" echoed Greta.
"Much more than that," Anuset orated, "now get going. I want these off my back before she wakes up."
"You got it. Let's go."
Just in time, they reached the appropriate section. Just in time, Nephtys, who was beginning to move, was lifted off Anuset's back and placed on the cot, she was hurriedly strapped down.
"What?" asked Nephtys, confused at first, then she came wholly to herself, looked around, realized she was strapped down, looked at Camilla, Greta, Anuset and Onaris. "Vile pack," she cried.
"Yes, she's alive and seems healthy," Anuset noted.
"Take care of her nose and then have her locked in a cabin," the hyena ordered, addressing Greta and security.
"Aye," came the brief confirmation.
"You'll pay for that," the goddess yelled repeatedly.
Camilla began to grin and leaned over Nephtys, "What, not enough yet?"
"You did that?"
"Uh-oh. Your memory's taken a beating, isn't it? Why did you come here again?"
"You'll regret that," the goddess hissed.
"Oh no, I think you're already doing that and it's going to get worse. Just give up and let it happen."
"I'm not having sex after all. That's what I say...", Nephtys cried out loudly and suddenly fell silent.
"Me or Osiris?", Anuset put in forcefully.
"I'll say no more," pouted the goddess.
"Miss Greta. It has come to my attention that you are a very good nurse in the medical field. How about coming to see me after your shift ends today. I'd love to have a chat with you sometime," Onaris turned to the Rat.
"Ehm... yes, but ...", she started.
"Is there anything in the way of that?"
"No, ma'am."
"Then I'll see you around. Carry on."
