Actual story summary: Guy gets jumped by two Chasers and fucked. 'Nuff said.
The early morning light filtered through the canopy of leaves and branches, spots of light dancing across the ground. The many avian natives of the forest living in the area sung songs as the early morning sun rose over the mountains in the distance, as if to greet the sphere of light. Some animals waking from their slumber to begin their day, of hunting, foraging, or even finding a mate, while others creatures of the night were turning in, tired from their nighttime escapades. However, one creature in particular was having some trouble with removing himself from the ground he sleeps on. He wasn't sick or hurt, he was just tired still, not use to sleeping on the ground. He knew though that had to eventually get up, to continue his trek across the land in his thirst for exploration.
The human groaned as rolled from his stomach and onto his side, resting on his elbow. He took his free hand and attempted to rub the sleep from his eyes, still trying to adjust to the sunlight as it filtered through the canvas of his tent. He then rolled onto his back and sat up, stretching out both his arms to side and then up as he arched his back and let out a loud groan, almost like a growl, as he worked out some of the stiffness from his muscles. He let his arms fall limp to his side and let out a huff of air and let his head hang. He tilted his back the right position and looked ahead of himself at the flap of his tent, seeing the light outside. Judging by how much light he could see, it was still pretty early in the morning.
He gave an annoyed sigh. "Damn it..." he said quietly to himself as he rolled his eyes and tilted his head back to look straight up. "I didn't know sleeping out here could make you so...tired." he said a little louder, a hint of grogginess in his voice. He wasn't use to sleeping outside, in a tent, on the ground, given the fact that he hasn't been traveling the region for very long. It was little over a month ago when he decided he wanted to leave his small hometown. He lived there for twenty years since he was born, and realized at one point that he was too use to living there. He knew everyone, worked as a crop harvester, and lived in peace in his small cabin home. Simply put, he got bored. There weren't any interesting people there, his job had no challenge for him, and nothing exciting ever happened there. That's why he decided he wanted to travel, to see the world, and relieve his boredom. There wasn't a big commotion when he left, all he did was wave at a few people as he passed by them on his way out of town, carrying a bag of supplies with him. Most of them probably didn't even know he was actually leaving. He didn't have to worry about leaving anybody behind either, since he was an only child, and his single mother died a couple of years back from an illness. He didn't even have girl he was interested in, and far as he knew, no girls were interested in him either.
He removed the rough blanket he was using to reveal that was only wearing the trousers he travels in, exposing his naked chest and somewhat hairy stomach. He got onto his hands and knees and crawled toward the flap, opening it to peek outside. Everything seemed normal, trees all over the place, grass covered in dew, and some shrubbery here and there. He moved forward and out of the tent and stood up straight, about six foot nothing, a thin but somewhat toned body. He turned around to face his tent and bent over to reach into it and grab his rucksack. He pulled it out and set it on the ground in front of him, and began to rummage through it, looking for his shaving supplies. He may be traveling around just for the exploration instead of meeting new people, but he still prefers to have a clean shaven face. He found what he was looking for and pulled out a few items. A barber's razor, a bar of soap, a flask of water, and a small mirror about the size of his head. He held the mirror for a second as studied his own reflection in it.
His pale, but somewhat tan face was covered in some stubble, but that would be taken care of soon. He looked at his olive green eyes to make sure there wasn't anything in the corner of them, although he also wished he could get rid of those dark bags underneath them. He ran his hand through his short, messy dark brown, almost black hair to make sure nothing got into it while he slept. He rather liked his hair, longer on top, about a couple of inches, while the sides and back were considerably shorter. He stopped studying himself and placed the mirror on the ground, and grabbed the soap in his hand and poured water onto it, and then rubbing both his hands together to get suds. He put the soap bar down and rubbed the suds where his stubble was, then grabbed his razor in one hand and the mirror in the other, and began the menial task of shaving.
A few minutes later, he was shaved and ate some jerky for breakfast and drank some water from his canteen. He was already in the middle of getting dressed, already wearing his pants, which were a light brown, and looked to be made of some tough, rugged material. His brown hiking boots were the first things he put on, which were obviously covered in marks from wear and tear, but also had an interesting design of black stripes going across it. He pulled a somewhat dirty, cream colored shirt over his head and onto his body, and pushed his arms through the short sleeves. Finally, he grabbed his simple gray jacket and put it on, it's only noticeable feature was the fact that it didn't have a collar on it.
After he was dressed, he put his shaving supplies, and his tent after he took it down, back into his travel bag. After making sure he didn't leave anything out, he hoisted the bag onto his back, both straps going over his shoulders. One of his hands gripped one of the straps, while he stuff the other into his coat pocket, something he does out of habit. He looked around for a second trying to remember which way the path he was traveling along was. He looked towards where it seemed the foliage thinned out and decided to head that way. When he found, an old, foot beaten dirt path, he walked out into the middle of it and glanced in both directions. He knew which direction he was traveling from yesterday, but just to be sure, he pulled his small compass from his coat pocket. Confirming which direction was what; he faced east and continued his trek towards whatever awaited him on his journey.
After walking for a couple of miles, he came across a sight that made him stop in his tracks and give a look of slight confusion and anger. "You've got to be joking..." he said. He came across what appeared to be a rest stop or maybe an inn, which wasn't even a thirty minute walk from where he slept last night. He placed his palm over his eyes and rubbed down to his mouth, and gave a huff of annoyance. "You'd think they'd put a sign somewhere on this road saying that this was nearby." he said to himself as a removed his hand and continued walking towards it.
When he reached to entrance, he glanced at a sign as he passed by it that read 'Abbott Inn'. So he was right, it was an inn, but that fact didn't make him feel any better, knowing he could have slept in a soft bed the other night instead of on the hard ground. He walked through the open entrance only to be hit with the strong scent of alcohol and tobacco. He covered and gave a slight cough, before he looked around the small dining area, hoping he spotted the owner somewhere. He looked towards his left and spotted the bar, along with the bartender, a short but burly man with a thin moustache and receding hairline, which he assumed was also the innkeeper. The barkeeper must have felt his eyes upon him, and looked up at the young traveler, giving him a quick nod as a greeting. The traveler returned with a wave and made his way over to him, and took a seat on of the stools next to the bar. The barman put down the mug he was cleaning and looked to the young traveler. "What can old Horis do fer you young'in?" he asked, his voice deep, with a country accent.
"You got any food to satisfy this famished traveler?" the young man asked, patting his stomach.
"Just the finest plate of meat n' potatoes ya could ask fer!" Horis said with mock pride.
He laughed a little at that. "I'll take your word for it. How much?"
Horis rubbed his cleft chin in thought. "Ehh, 'bout three pieces. What 'bout a drink?"
He shook his head. "No thanks. I have some water in my bag." and patted his big which set on the ground beside him. Horis shrugged and held his hand out for payment. The young man reached into the small pouch tied to his belt and grabbed a few metallic, silver coins, and placed it in the barkeeps hand. Horis placed the money somewhere underneath the bar.
"Just gimme a minute." Horis said as he walked through a door behind him into what is assumed to be the kitchen. A short time later he came back out holding a plate, with a large slab of steaming meat, perhaps a steak, covered in sliced potatoes, and placed in front of the hungry young man. "Dig in." he said as he held out a knife and fork to him.
"Thanks." the man said, as he gratefully took the silverware and began dining. The flavor was surprisingly good for such a simple meal.
"So, watcha' doin' out here in these parts anywho?" Horis asked.
He shrugged, not looking up from his meal. "Just traveling, exploring, and getting out basically."
"Got bored livin at home, eh?"
"You hit the nail right on the head."
Horis laughed. "I can understand that, but I prefer making money meh self. That's why I opened up this here inn along this route; some interesting folks come around here too."
"About that. You know, you should put some signs somewhere up and down this road, so people will know you're close by."
"Ya made camp not to far away from here, didn't ya?"
He had to stop eating for a second to look at Horis, surprised that he knew. "How the heck did you even know that?"
Horis made a grin and gave a hearty laugh. "Yer not the first traveler to do that son!"
He had to join in on his laughter. "Ha! Thanks, now I feel less stupid."
"I bet ya do son." he said once he calmed down a little bit. "I'm surprised the forest spirits didn't scare ya off either."
The look on his face went to one of puzzlement when Horis said that. "Spirits?"
Horis waved his hand in dismissal. "Ah, nothing you need to worry about, just some old folktale."
He quirked his eyebrow at that, but then shrugged it off, not really interested in some old ghost story.....until and old, wheezing voice spoke up next to him.
"It ain't no folktale..."
The young man looked to his left, seeing a much older man sitting on the stool next to him. He had a full, and long white beard, and patches of short white hair on his head, and had his eyes cast down.
"It's not?" the young man asked, finished with his meal.
"It's not, and you're lucky you're not dead after sleeping out there boy." the old man said as he turned his gaze to him, obvious signs of aging all across his face, and stared intensely into the young one's eyes.
"What? Why would I be dead?" he said with out of shock and interest.
"Now hold on." Horis said as he cut in and directed his attention at the young man. "Don't listen to that old bag of bones kid, he's just senile, and probably doesn't-"
"I am NOT senile!" the old man cut in. "And my name is Seagard, you disrespectful oaf!" he said, displaying his apparent anger.
Horis glared at Seagard out of irritation and pointed a finger at him. "Now look here you ugly old..."
"Whoa, whoa, whoa, just stop right there!" the young man said, waving each hand at them at them to symbol his desire to speak, making them go silent and look towards him. "I actually want to hear what Seagard has to say." Usually he wouldn't really care for stories about local legends, but one about a killer spirit actually sounded pretty interesting to him.
"Kid, it's just a bunch of superstitious jabber." Horis said pointedly.
The young man brought his hands down. "Maybe, but I got some time to kill, so why not listen to him?"
Horis raised his hands in defeat. "Fine. Have it your way." and walked to the end of the bar, shuffling some items around underneath the bar.
The young man turned towards Seagard, and got into a more comfortable position. "Now, what were you saying?"
Seagard looked back towards the boy and took a deep breath, and told his story. "As I was saying, it isn't a folktale, it's real."
"So you say." the young man said. Seagard furrowed his brow in annoyance at that. "Sorry, sorry, please continue." he apologized.
"Very well..." Seagard said, and cleared his throat. "Spirits do indeed dwell within that forest out there, but they aren't merciful ones. You see, it's said that these spirits only come out at night, because they were born from the realm of darkness, and if you're out there at night, one of them comes after you, to steal your soul."
"My...soul?" the young man responded, and swallowed hard. "H-how?"
Seagard noticed the hint of fear in his voice, and grinned, getting some amusement out of this. "Well, it's said the spirits actually glow a bright, mesmerizing color in the darkness, which is how they trap you. The moment you look into its light, you can't look away, and become hypnotized by its ghostly beauty. When you're fully under its spell, it envelopes you into it's light."
The young man leaned forward listening intently. "And then what...?" he asked apprehensively, almost not wanting to know the answer.
Seagard's voice became grave. "And then..." he paused for a moment. "It devours your soul and vanishes, leaving your body as nothing but a cold, dead husk, waiting to be discovered by some unfortunate traveler, if the animals don't eat it first."
The young man leaned sideways against the bar, a look wonder across his face. "Whoa..." he said letting out the breath he was holding, but jumped out of surprise when Horis spoke.
"Kid, trust meh, it ain't real." he said as he stood before the young man again.
The young man turned towards him and asked him. "Why are you so sure about it?"
"The part 'bout dead bodies ain't true. I've been here fer years and never heard of any dead bodies being found 'round here."
Seagard butted in. "What about the lights then?"
The young man looks between the two, confused about the question. "Lights? What lights?"
Horis rolled his eyes at the old man. "Probably just some animal or something."
The traveler did a double take at that. "Wait, an animal?"
Horis shrugged. "Yeah?"
"That glows in the dark?" The traveler said incredulously.
"It makes more sense than a damned spirit." he said glancing at Seagard.
Seagard gave an annoyed sigh and got up from his stool. "I've had enough of this." and left the inn.
The young man paid no heed to his departure, as he was busy running thoughts through his mind. "Horis, you said it might be an animal right?"
"Yeah, why do ya ask?"
"Has anyone actually ever caught or seen this animal?"
Horis hesitated for a moment. "Well...no. Not that I know of anyway."
"So even you're not sure that it's even an animal?"
"Look kid, no one knows what the lights actually are, I was just saying what I thought." Horis said in defense. "Besides, everyone is scared of it, either because they think it's a soul stealing spirit, or a wild animal, so no one would actually go after it."
The young traveler pondered this in his mind for a moment. Was it a beast, or a ghost? From what he could tell, there's no real way to know through second hand sources. "I'll go after it." he suddenly said.
"Huh?" Horis said, not quite sure he heard what he thought he heard.
He looked up at Horis with determination in his eyes. "I'll hunt for...what ever this thing is, and find out for myself."
Horis looked at him like he was crazy. "Ya do know that it might be dangerous, right kid?"
The young man shrugged. "This is the reason I'm traveling around, looking for excitement, mystery, and such, and this is right up my alley."
Horis shrugged himself. "Not really my concern anyhow." he then looked outside through to entrance, still seeing a lot of daylight. "These things only come out at night though, so does that mean...?"
"How much for a room?" he asked.
Horis smirked. "Ten pieces." he said. The traveler reached into his pouch again and deposited ten coins on the bar. Horis collected it and put away somewhere underneath, and brought back up a thin book, and some sort of writing utensil. "What's yer name? I need to know who I'm renting out too."
He looked up a Horis and said, "The name's Edward Tate. Ed for short."
Before he knew it, the sun was already below the horizon, any hint of its light vanishing completely after a few more hours. Ed decided that the best way to pass the time until it got dark, was to help Horis for a while. He didn't have to do much, cleaning, serving the rare customer Horis actually gets out here, and the like. This was usually how he made money, doing odd jobs here and there for people, and Horis was grateful for his help. At the end of the day, Horis gave him his pay, and told him that there wasn't anything else to do, since most of the time people never come here at night. Ed thanked him for the money and pocketed it. He turned his head to look outside to see that it was pretty dark, if he had to guess, it was probably a few hours before midnight. Before he left though, he believed he needed Horis to answer a few more questions for him.
"Hey Horis?" he asked as he leaned over the bar.
Horis turned around from whatever he was doing to look at him. "Yeah? Ya need something else?"
"Just need to know a few things."
"Like what?"
Ed placed his chin in his hand and leaned on it. "How far should I go out? I mean, how far away is the place these things are usually spotted?"
Horis looked down and furrowed his brow, thinking for a moment. "From what I gather, I would have to say its a few miles east from here, so I reckon you can just follow the road there."
"Will it be on the road, or will I have to look in the woods around it?"
"Probably the woods, it's usually the campers that spot'em."
"Okay then. How about the size? Any idea how big they are?"
Horis shrugged and shook his head. "No idea, I haven't actually seen one meh self, and the folks who have say different things."
Ed pinched the bridge of his nose and closed his eyes. "Damn, not much to go on..." he said with irritation. He then stood up straight again. "But I guess that adds to the mystery."
"I guess." Horis replied, not really interested.
"Well..." Ed said, as he hoisted his bag. "I guess I'll be heading out for a little bit. Your door will be open when I get back right?"
"Nope." Horis replied. Ed looked at him with somewhat dumbfounded look. What was the point of paying him for a room if wasn't going to let him in? Ed was about to say something, but Horis stopped short by raising his hand. "But you can just knock a few times and I'll come unlock it fer ya."
Ed gave a relieved sigh. "Don't do that Horis."
Horis just laughed at him as Ed made to leave and waved him goodbye. When he opened the door, Horis said one more thing to him. "Don't go gettin lost now!"
"Don't go locking me out!" Ed replied, earning another laugh from Horis.
Ed shut the door behind him before he took a look around. He looked up at the moon first to see that it was in it's crescent phase, so it's light wasn't going to be much help. Besides, he was going to be in the woods, where the leaves of the trees would make a thick canopy, he doubts that most, if any of the light, can make it through that. He was prepared for something like this though. He looked down and to his right, to see a small oil lamp clipped to the side of his bag. He grabbed it and held it awkwardly in the pit of his arm, so he could still use both hands to grab his box of matches from his pocket and light one. He then put the matches back in his pocket, and used the ignited one to light his oil lamp. After adjusting the dial somewhat until the wick burning inside was giving a satisfying amount of light, he looked toward the direction of the road and headed off towards his destination of interest.
"Time to go hunting."
He had to be in the right area now. He may have not been a traveler for long, but he had enough experience to develop a pretty good sense of distance. That same sense was also telling he was in the right area, but so far he hasn't seen anything other than plants and some small animals, like a raccoon and the occasional bat. Ed now stood on the road he was traveling on, looking between both sides and judging between which way he should go. As far as he could tell there wasn't any real difference between, both just as dark as the other. He shrugged his shoulders, picked a direction, and entered. He held his lamp about chest height in front of him, to light his way.
It really was pretty dark under the canopy of leaves, almost no moonlight was making through it, making the area nearly appear pitch black. He was happy that he had his lamp, but he still had to be careful. He had to walk slower than usual and keep his eyes open, to make sure he didn't trip over some root or walk into a low lying branch. He was watching out for beasts too of course, but he had a small knife to protect himself just in case, but he hopes he doesn't have to actually use it. Every once in a while he would check his compass, making sure he was still heading in the same direction. He needed to find his way back to the road after all, to get back to the inn if he didn't find anything.
He searched for about an hour, looking for some sign of the so called light that identifies these...beings. All that he managed to come across were just a few eaten plants and the occasional 'waste' left behind by the creatures of this forest. With nothing but the call of an owl for company, he decided to take a rest from scouring the area. He came across a fallen log, which still looked sturdy enough lean against. He placed his lantern on top of it, and set down on the ground next to it. He took a seat on the ground in front of it as well, next to his bag, laying his legs out straight in front of him, and leaned against his make-shift backrest. He crossed his arms and took a deep breath through his nose, and let it out through his nose, taking in the smell of the forest and relaxing himself, the owl continuing to sing it's nightly sonata.
After a couple of minutes of just relaxing, he reached over to his bag and opened its top flap, while aiming it's opening towards his lamp, so he could see inside. He was somewhat hungry from hiking around, so wanted sate his hunger with a bit of the jerky he eat earlier. Even with the light though, he was still having a difficult time finding it in there. After he felt around a bit more, he finally found it, it's texture hard to mistake. He made a smile of triumph at his success, but when he made to pull it out, he noticed something was missing.
He couldn't hear the owl anymore, and that caused him to be wary. He looked around the area with a quirked eyebrow, scanning the shrouded are. He's not sure why he did that though, he knew he wasn't going to see the owl in this darkness. He then thought to himself for a moment, it shouldn't be bothering him this much. Owls hoot, but they don't do it non-stop. Maybe it was just decided to stop, or it left the area? He didn't know, and decided it didn't really matter. He turned his attention back to his bag and pulled the jerky out. He had a rather big strip in his hand, but only need a small one, he wasn't that hungry. He held it in one hand and was about to rip a piece off with the other, but then he heard a loud rustle from near, reflexively snapping his head in the direction he believed it came from.
Adrenaline immediately flooded his system, the familiar 'fight or flight' instinct kicking in. Whatever it was, it didn't sound very big, but you can't really tell that from just a rustle of leaves. What really caught his attention was the fact that it was really close, a bit too close. He gently lifted himself from the ground, trying to make as little noise as possible, lest he attracts the creature's attention or scare it off. He reached for his lamp behind it and grabbed it, lifting it in front of himself, and very slowly walking towards where the noise came from. He glanced quickly from left to right, trying to spot anything that could identify where the creature is. Another rustle from nearby and he even say it from the corner of his eye. He looked up and to his left, seeing that the source was from a leaf shrouded branch higher up.
Most people at this point would've turned tail and run, not wanting to risk the chance of getting mauled by some vicious animal, but Ed was for to inquisitive for his own good. He took another step towards, while moving his lamp closer to it, hoping he could see what was hidden within it. A few moments passed by with complete silence, and nothing was seen either. Ed thought that maybe whatever it was already left, the last rustle must have been it leaving when whatever it was spotted him. After deciding it really wasn't there anymore, he let out a breath of air he didn't realize holding. That was when he was caught off guard an explosion of leafs and feathers!
Frightened, Ed dropped his lamp and ducked, cover his head with his arms to protect himself. All this happened in a split second, before his registered what he actually saw. An owl, it was just and owl, probably the same one he was hearing earlier. He was looking in the direction it went, opposite of the branch it had just vacated, cursing at it in his mind for scaring him. He his hands up to his face and lightly smacked himself, chastising himself for letting himself be frightened so easily. He sighed and let his hands fall down to his sides, and looked down to where is lamp was. It seemed to be fine, apparently landing right side up, with no visible damage. He bent over aiming to pick it up, until he froze in place, with a look of absolute panic across his face. He could've sworn he just heard what sounded like laughter, and it was coming from directly behind him, most likely from the branch the owl just left. He slowly turned his head towards the source, beads of sweat staring to form across his forehead. When he turned his head far enough to see whatever it was from the corner of his eye, his blood ran cold, and could've sworn his heart stopped beating for a second.
There, on the branch peering down at him, was something he could only describe with one word, a demon. It was gripping on to the branch with its hands and feet, similar to how a frog would sit, and its limbs were glowing a vibrant red, the glow reaching from its feet and hands to half-way up its shins and forearms. Its eyes were glowing the same red as it's limbs, its catlike eyes staring into the one eye that he was staring at it with, and it also had what appeared to be glowing red freckles underneath them. He could also see the pointed, glowing red ears it had, which were pointing up at a high angle. While he was staring at its head, namely the parts that glow since that was the only thing he could see in this darkness, he noticed another glowing appendage, red like the others, waving around in the air behind it. A tail, undulating slowly, and with grace. He remembers that certain animals wave their tail like that when they're hunting, or about to pounce, and he really hopes that it wasn't the case with this one. Actually, he had no idea what this thing could be thinking right now, see he went back to looking into it's eyes, thinking that perhaps he could get a read on it's feeling from there, but what he saw greatly unnerved him.
The gaze it was giving him, was without a doubt, one of a hungry predator. Was this thing planning to eat him!? It certainly seemed like it to Ed. Then he saw it do something that nearly made him soil himself. He watched as it opened its mouth, seeing only the black silhouette of its teeth because of the red glow coming from within its mouth. He saw that it was a glowing red tongue when the creature stuck it out, and licked its lips. After seeing that, he was certain that this thing wanted to eat him. When it pulled its tongue back into it's mouth, it smoothly hopped of the branch, and landed gracefully on the ground near him. Ed thought didn't wait for it to hit the ground, the instinct suddenly hitting him like a sledgehammer as soon as it left it's perch.
He bolted, praying to whatever gods could help him outrun this so called demon. He didn't know which way he was running, and he didn't care. He didn't want to die out here! It was a miracle that he didn't run into anything or trip, considering he was practically blind out here. As he kept running, the adrenaline in his system helping him along, he began to hear another set of footsteps, slowly growing closer to him, and dared a glance behind him. The demon was gaining on him! He also saw that since it was running on two legs, he could get a better idea of its height. The damn thing would barely come up to his waist, so how the hell was it so fast!? He cursed his luck when he aimed his view forward again, but that may have been a bad thing to do. Apparently, whatever supernatural being or deity that influenced his luck, had heard his insult, and decided to punish him for it, for when he looked ahead of himself, his face collided with a thick, low lying branch. He was practically clothes lined and landed on his back, thoroughly knocked unconscious before he even hit the ground.
His head throbbed, his back felt soar, and he couldn't tell if he was awake or asleep. His eyes were closed, and his mind was having trouble registering anything around him. His head gave another painful throb, forcing him to let out a pained groan. And in response, it licked a little harder.
Ed's eyes snapped open and were looking down slightly at the glowing demon sitting between his spread legs. He had a stiff hard-on and this...thing was licking it, slathering its slightly rough, glowing red tongue all over the underside, while it was using it's hands to hold his erection up, being careful with its claws. Its eyes were closed, but by the look on it's face, he could tell it was enjoying fondling his naked groin, almost as if it was savoring every precious lick. That's when the realization hit him, he was naked! His clothes were gone, leaving him completely bare to this apparently perverted creature. He wanted to push this thing off him, and made to do so, but noticed he couldn't. He looked to his right and saw that his wrist had some sort of rope tied around it, the length of it disappearing behind the tree, that he apparently had his back against from his sitting position, and reaching to his other wrist which was tied as well. Seeing he had no real way to move, he panicked and began to struggle. Obviously, this was the wrong thing to do, for the little imp's eyes flew open and stared at his.
Before he knew it, he had a pissed off little demon holding it's claws against his throat, growling and bearing it's sharp teeth only a couple of inches away from his face, in a very threatening manner. It didn't take a genius to figure out what it was trying to tell him. He immediately froze, and stared into the face of this pissed off creature, his mind blank from fear. It stopped bearing its teeth and growling, but it still had its claws against his throat, and stared into his face with a look that told him not to try anything else. Then it spoke.
"No." it said. Its voice was surprisingly feminine, with a smooth undertone.
Ed's eyes widened slightly. "W-what?" he said meekly. Surprised that it could talk.
She pulled her head away from his face, Ed decided it was female, and sat up on his stomach, and removed her claws away from his throat. She crossed her arms in front of her clothed chest, and peered at his face, her features softening slightly. "You not fight me." she said, her speech a little slow, appearing like she had to take a moment to form the words in her mouth.
"But..." he said. He had no idea what he wanted to say, he was too distracted by her appearance. Her skin was...well, not exactly black, but maybe a dark grey, save for the red glowing bits. Her left hand had some rings on her fingers, which looked interesting against the glowing appendage. He looked up to her face and was a bit stumped by what he saw. Her face looked surprisingly gentle and soft for something so fearsome, and she appeared to have the barest hint of a snout, tipped off by a red, non-glowing catlike nose. Her short blonde hair contrasting with her dark body, which looked like it was blown back by a strong wind. He glanced to her pointed ears when he noticed that her right one actually had a few piercings on it. When he was done with is little observation, it finally registered to him that he could see her in detail because of a light source coming from somewhere. He looked up to see his lantern hanging above them from a branch, illuminating the both them.
He then felt her two silky smooth hands on the sides of his face, gently coaxing him to look back at her. They held there gaze for a moment, looking into each other's eyes, before she gave him a kind, reassuring smile. "I not hurt you." she said, putting as much gentleness into her tone as she can.
Her actions and behavior calmed him down a bit, thinking that if she wanted to kill him, she would have already done so. However, he still didn't know what she wanted, or what she even was. "Um...what, I mean, who, why...?" he tried to say, mind still a little befuddled.
She put a hand over his mouth to stop him from talking. "Olafur." she said. Ed looked at her, confusion in his eyes at what she said. "My name." then she removed both her hands and placed them on his chest, mindful of her claws.
"Edward..." he responded, figuring he should give her the same courtesy.
She gave him a grateful smile. "Ed..." she said, testing the word in her mouth. She looked down to his chest, and leaned forward, laying herself down on him. She rested the side of her head on one arm, and drew circles on his with the blunt side of her claw with the other. She watched herself draw circles for a moment, before she closed her eyes, and took a deep breath of his scent through her nose. She then let the same breath through her mouth, before sighing in what appeared to be contentment, and went back to watching herself draw on him.
Meanwhile, Ed took to looking down her back to where her tail was, and was surprised to see a curvy, voluptuous bottom on her. Further investigation showed that showed that she also had long, shapely legs, at least for someone her size. Now that he thought about it, her entire body was pretty attractive for a...whatever she was. It was obviously that she was no ghost, animal, or demon, but then what was she really? And judging from the amount of affection she's showing him, and how she 'stimulated' him earlier, it's as if she wants to...
"Um...Olafur?" Ed said. She stopped what she was doing and looked up at him with her glowing rubies, giving him her attention. "What exactly is it that you...want?" He actually has a pretty good idea, and was surprised at the fact that his mind was making no protest of it.
Her eyes closed half way, giving a very sultry look, and leaned up to rest her elbows on his chest, and rest her chin on the palms of her hands. She put on a mischievous smirk and had the tip of her glowing tongue sticking out between her lips. A little unnerved by the look she was giving, he was about to ask her something, before his eyes widened and let out a quiet yelp, when he felt her tail coil around his member and gave it a squeeze. "This!" she said with glee, and giggling at his reaction.
Looks like he was right, but Ed still didn't understand WHY she was doing this, or how it would even work. He took a second to gather his thoughts after his little pleasure spike. "But...why do you want to...I mean, this is...can it-" He was cut off when she suddenly darted her head forward, and sealed her lips with his. Apparently, she wanted him to shut up and just accept what was happening.
He was caught off guard at first, but started to enjoy himself as he closed his eyes. Her head was tilted slightly to the right; her eyes closed as well, and was softly mashing her lips with his. He kissed her back with passion, deciding if he was going to do this, he might as well enjoy it as much as he can. After a few moments, he could feel her tongue licking at his lips, asking for passage. He complied and allowed her tongue to enter and mingle with his. She gave a throaty moan, apparently pleased that she could kiss him like this. When he heard her moan, it did something to him, suddenly making his body flood with heated arousal. He never knew that such a noise could affect him so much.
After few more passionate moments of this exchange, she pulled away from his mouth, sucking in a lung full of air from holding her breath. A strand of saliva was connected between his lips and the tip of her glowing appendage, which was hanging limply from her mouth, then thinned out and broke when she pulled too far away. Both of their eyes opened to look at each other, Ed's face was flushed, and panting a bit, while lafur's tongue was still hanging out, breathing sharply through her nose. She looked into his eyes again, the look of a predator, hungry for his flesh, and that look sent a shiver down his spine, not one of fear though, but one of anticipation. Olafur used her tongue to slowly, and sensually lick her lips, catching both his and hers fluids, while Ed watched her in fascination. When she pulled her tongue back into her mouth and smacked her tongue, making a short hum of approval of his taste, all his inhibitions left him. He couldn't care less if there were any consequences for what they were about to do, he wanted her...no...he needed her.
It seemingly looked she knew what was going through his head when she was staring into his eyes, and decided to take it another step further. She lifted herself up and slowly slid down his body, where her clothed crotch was hovering over his hardness. She removed her tail from him, grinned at him for a moment, before she suddenly dropped herself, sandwiching his maleness between his stomach, and her covered mound. He let out a sudden 'Ah!' when she did this, not prepared for the sudden contact, the heat of her 'area' making him throb. She righted herself so she sat up straight, her thighs hugging his waist, knees resting on the ground on either side of him. She looked down at his erection, then back at him for a second, then the grinned. She suddenly added a bit more pressure to his groin, and slowly grinded herself against him in a circular motion. Ed was absolutely beside himself with arousal, the knowledge of her womanhood rubbing against his member with only a thin cloth separating them, clouded his mind with lust.
As Olafur continuously grinded into him, teasing him, she moved her hands up to the ragged, torn cloth that hanged on her chest and shoulder. She smoothly lifted the single strap up, and over her head, then tossed it somewhere to the side, exposing her naked chest to him. Ed could see that she had breasts, with the small nubs at the peak as you would expect, but they were almost non-existent, for some reason though, he still found it attractive. While he was looking at her bare chest, he almost didn't notice that she stopped gyrating against him. He looked up to her face, his expression one of questioning, but all she did was wink at him. Olafur reached for the drawstrings one either sides of her hips, which were holding up her bottoms, and pulled. The cloth fell apart and laid itself out flat on him, still between him and her, before she gently lifted herself up, and yanked out from between them, exposing that part of her to him fully in the process.
Ed was surprised once again, she glows down there as well! The human like entrance glowed red, just like her other parts. He watched as she lowered herself onto him again, her outer folds making contact with his member, and cupped over its sides. Olafur moaned at contact, while Ed could open his mouth in a silent gasp. She then leaned forward, placed her hands on his stomach, and used it as leverage to slide her moist, hot opening up and down the underside of his painfully hard shaft.
Ed let out a grunt at electrifying sensation, the pleasure making his toes curl. Olafur seemed to be enjoying this just as much as he did, evident by her closed eyes and the way she was biting her lower lip. As she continued this little dance, she sped up a bit more, and began to moan quietly. Ed could feel her claws pricking into his skin lightly, but that concern was the last thing on his mind. That is, until she sped up again, and felt her claws pierce his skin and drew blood.
That hurt, it hurt quite a bit to. The pain snapped him out of his euphoric daze, his mind telling him to make her stop. He was about to tell her to do just that, until she suddenly stopped herself. Ed wondered if she already knew that she hurt him, and if that was why she halted. Olafur snapped her body back into a straight sitting position, and slowly turned her head left and right, scanning the forest around them. Ed was confused by her behavior, not knowing what triggered it. He was about to say something, but Olafur held a hand up to him when he barely let out the first syllable, signaling to him be quiet, and saw her ears twitch. That's when it him, why she was looking around, and why she told him to be quiet.
She heard something, and if it concerned her, it should concern him as well. She continuously scanned the area, her ears twitching now then, before they gave a strong twitch and her vision snapped off to the direction left of Ed. Apparently her hearing was much more sensitive than his, he didn't hear anything. He looked in the same direction she did, trying to spot whatever was over there, but he heard a twig snap instead. Olafur suddenly leapt off him, and crouched to the ground, letting an intimidating growl at whatever was over there. Whatever it was, it was hiding behind a somewhat large boulder that was nearby. Ed was scared, he didn't know if Olafur could actually fight it off if it was something bigger than her, and with him tied to this tree, he'd be an easy target.
This tense moment however ended when this creature walked out from behind the boulder, and left Ed a little bewildered. It was another one, a little imp thing just like Olafur. She, as it looked female as well, had slowly walked around the boulder, while casting her eyes down and wringing her hands in nervousness. When Olafur saw her, she immediately stopped growling, looking at this other imp with a bit of surprise and suspicion. Olafur stood up straight, crossed her arms, and began talking to the other imp in an unfamiliar language, the other one giving meek responses to her in the same language.
While the two were talking, Ed studied the appearance of the new arrival. She had the same body structure and height of Olafur, but where Olafur glows the color red, this one glowed purple. Her skin was a bit different as well, it being as dark as Olafur's, but having red mixed in it, it was like a very dark rust color. Her eyes didn't glow, but he could see that they were a bright green color, and her cheeks glowed as well, giving the appearance of a blush, compared to Olafur's freckles. Her hair was about the same length as Olafur's, but it was a dark forest green, and its style was messy, like it was ruffled all the time.
By the time Ed finished looking at her, their conversation is over. The purple ones behavior was different now, she looking at Ed now the same hungry look Olafur gave him earlier. Olafur looked over her shoulder to see Ed, a smile tugging at the corner of her lips. "We share you." she said. That caught him off guard. He was sure Olafur was going to chase to other imp off, but now she's saying they're both going to use him?
"Um, I don't think I can..." Ed said, letting the sentence trail off.
Olafur seemed to know what he was trying to say. "Vinber just want to taste you."
Ed guessed that Vinber must have been the purple one's name. The part about her wanting to 'taste' him though, he had a pretty good idea what she meant. After all, he was in no position to refuse, not that he wanted to at this point.
Ed just nodded his head, signifying that he was alright with this. Vinber made some sort of gesture that must have meant something along the lines of 'Heck yes!' for them. Olafur turned around and walked towards him before she stopped on her first step, a look of shock mixed guilt on her face. She just now noticed small pricks on his stomach and small traces of blood. She looked at him apologetically.
"Sorry..." she said with meekly.
Ed shook his head. "It's alright you didn't mean to do it."
Olafur smiled at him, happy that he wasn't really mad at her, but that still left the problem of her claws. She thought to herself while looking over is body for a moment, before her brows raised, apparently having an idea. She motioned for Vinber to follow her, and walked down to Ed's feet. Ed looked at her curiously for a moment, before she made a gesture with her hands to spread his legs. He obliged by pulling his knees up, feet flat o the ground, and spreading his thighs apart as far as comfortably possible. Ed wasn't sure what she was planning, but was sure he was about to find out.
Olafur, followed by Vinber, walked right to his groin, standing only a few inches away from his sack. Olafur reached a hand out and grabbed his still hard member, giving it a few strokes for good measure. She turned her back towards him while switching hands to grasp him, and bent him forward. That felt good to him, but he was sure she was trying to do something else. Olafur then proceeded to step back, sliding between her thighs. She continued to move backwards until she made contact with his groin, and practically fell as she took a seat, his member wobbling a bit before slapping against her stomach.
So she was going to do it THIS way, to protect him from her own claws. He was wondering why she just didn't take him in though, but that thought quickly left his he felt her thighs squeeze him, and her hand rub up and down the sides of his maleness.
Olafur continued to do this, to make sure he stayed aroused, and then motioned for Vinber to approach. She obliged eagerly, then got onto her hands and knees, and crawled towards his member. Olafur spread her own thighs to give her better access to him, and removed her hands so they wouldn't get in Vinber's way, but she kept her womanhood in contact with base of Ed's member, barely grinding against him.
Vinbers was close enough now for him to feel her hot breath, tingling his nerves. She studied it for a moment, practically adoring it, before she reached with her hands and grasped him. She heard Ed groan when she grabbed both sides of his member and squeezed, feeling it twitch in response. She could feel it pulsing ash she moved her hands up and down, to get a feel for it. She smelled his scent coming off him, and it made her mouth water. She took in a deep breath through her nose, filling her mind with his aroma, and shuddered. She lost control of herself in that moment, and leaned forward, making contact with her tongue.
Ed moaned in bliss as he felt Vinber's tongue drag across his entire shaft, in one long lick, from bottom to top as she held him at the base. Her somewhat rough tongue felt amazing to him, making him want more, and he got more. She continued to lick him, savoring his taste, darting her tongue this way and that. She rubbed her tongue all over his member, coating it in warm saliva. She continued this treatment until she decided she wanted something more.
Vinber continued to hold at the base of his shaft, feeling Olafur's mound rub against her hands, and lifted herself so her head was just above his tip. She gave the tip a quick, light lick across, tasting a bit of his fluid that accumulated there. It had a rather salty taste to it that made her purr, and she wanted more of it.
She parted her mouth a little and leaned forward, and placed her lips against his tip. After she gave it a delicate kiss to it, she used her tongue to lick just the head while it was still touching her lips, then took a couple of inches of him into her warm mouth, letting it rest on her tongue.
Vinber's treatment was wonderful, if Ed's moaning was any indicator. Her purring intensifying the sensations, as she gently suckled on what was in her mouth, trying to pleasure him as best she can. Her tongue moved side to side across the bottom of his head, grinding it into him as much as she could. She pulled her head up until only the tip remained; dragging her tongue along way, then abruptly bobbed her head down. She bobbed her head up and down on him at a steady pace, never taking more than two inches of him. Every once in awhile, she swirl her tongue around his head, while sucking hard at it, before going back to bobbing her head.
Ed could feel himself getting close. He didn't know if he climaxing now would make them angry or not, but it didn't look he could stop himself anyway. Vinber continued sucking him, bringing closer and closer. He grunted loudly, which Olafur took as a sign that he was close.
Olafur tapped on Vinber forehead to get her attention, making her stop with just the tip in her mouth, and look up at her. Olafur made no words to her, but Vinber could figure out what she wanted. Vinber whined sadly, and let go of Ed's member reluctantly, a strand spit connected from her lips to his member till it broke.
Olafur stood up, and used her tail to wrap around Ed's maleness to hold it steady. She was about to lower herself onto him, grabbing Ed's thighs for leverage, until she remembered her claws. She didn't want to scratch him again, so she said something to Vinber in their language. Vinber nodded and stood up, and grabbed Olafur's wrists, so Olafur can't claw by accident her, and helped her steady herself.
Ed watched as those glowing red lips moved closer until they made contact with his head, making them both shudder. For some reason though, Ed's mind actually processed a rational thought at that moment. Can he actually fit into her tiny body? Won't it hurt her? Ed was having second thoughts about this, but then he realized that Olafur seemed pretty intelligent, she wouldn't do this if she knew it wasn't possible. His mind was quickly cleared of these thoughts though, when he felt his head pop into her passage.
Olafur let out a high pitched moan when she felt him enter her, her glowing womanhood clenching his head. She looked back over her shoulder at to wink at him, then teased him a little bit as she gyrated her hips in a circle, grinding his head inside her tight walls. She stopped gyrating and continued lowering herself onto to him, her mouth growing bigger the deeper he went. There were a couple inches of him still left to go when she stopped, removed her tail from him, and looked up at Vinber. Olafur, was contorted in absolute pleasure, she was panting, beads of sweat forming on her face, and was having a hard time keeping her eyes open. Vinber looked into her eyes as Olafur nodded to her, and she nodded right back. Then, Vinber suddenly let go, Olafur practically dropping to sit on his lap, the rest his length sliding into her and making her scream.
Ed however was so overtaken with pleasure; no words came out of his mouth, just letting out a silent scream. He never felt anything like this before in his life! She was so tight, but not at all constricting. Her walls her so hot and wet, and he could even feel her pulse. Then she began to purr, the vibrations adding to the immense pleasure he felt.
Olafur felt so full, Ed's maleness felt so good inside her. She rested on him for a bit, enjoying the feeling, before she started to rotate her hips, massaging his erection with her silky walls. Then she began to gently lift herself up a bit, the feeling of the movement making both groan, and roughly dropped down, beginning the dance that was as old as time itself. She used her tail to help push herself up, so she wouldn't have to grab his legs, until she was about half-way up his shaft before dropping back down, both of them continuously moaning, grunting every time their hips made contact with a smack.
While they were busy, Vinber decided to include herself in this little dance. She got flat on her stomach and mover her face towards Ed's sack. She then proceeds to rub her tongue on his sack and the exposed part of his shaft. Ed gave what sounded like a restrained growl when he felt her, and bucked his hips light, making Olafur yelp. When she was tired of licking, she pulled his gems into her mouth, one after the other, and gently sucked on the, massaging them with her tongue.
Ed was having an extremely difficult time holding out, trying to prolong as much as he possibly could, but then Olafur sped up her movements. At this point, it became impossible to try stop his climax from happening. His shaft gave a strong throb, which the other two felt as well, and went all out. Vinber tongued and sucked his balls rapidly, while Olafur kept going faster and faster, knowing that the climax was close. Apparently Olafur knew when it was going to happen, for right before he came, she raised herself up until she was pretty much standing, his tip the only thing remaining in her, then slammed him back in all the way to the base.
They screamed, they screamed loudly, both of their bodies shivering violently. Olafur hit her orgasm the same time he did, her internal muscles convulsed against him violently, milking at him hungrily.
Ed was exploding into her, his shaft giving all the precious seed he could into her ravenous sex, which was practically suckling at him. He managed to give off a few strong spurts deep into her womb, before he felt a couple of hands grabbing the bottom of his shaft.
Vinber saw this as an opportunity get some of his essence for herself. With a mischievous smirk, she grabbed Ed's member, quickly pulled it out of Olafur while he was in the middle of his orgasm, and shoved him into her mouth. She suckled on his head rapidly, swallowing as much of his seed as she could, while she slid her hands to slide down his convulsing erection, pumping as much cum out of him as she could.
Ed managed to give a few more shots for her, but then he was completely spent. He felt Vinber give one more hard suck, hoping to get a little more out of him, but then Olafur pushed her off, and began yelling at her. She was obviously upset at Vinber for stealing some of his nectar from her, and angrily stood up, Ed's semi-hard shaft sliding against her stomach and between her legs, and tackled her.
Ed would have been amused watching the tussle and wrestle with each other, but he was too tired, the mind blowing experience taking whatever energy he had left. He tried to stay awake, but he knew it was useless, and he was pretty sure that the little imps weren't going to hurt him in his sleep. So in the end, he just closed his eyes and drifted off to slumber.
Ed was slowly roused from his sleep when he sense some light through his eyelids. He slowly opened his eyes, and saw that he was still where he was last night, and naked. However, he saw that he was covered in a wool blanket, maybe placed over him by Olafur and Vinber as an act of kindness to keep him warm, and saw that his arms were at his sides instead of being tied to the tree. He could tell it was morning as well, seeing that spots of light were dancing across the ground as they filtered through the leaves. He looked around until he noticed his traveling bag was nearby, along with his clothes.
With a smile, pushed himself off the ground, grabbed his clothes and got dressed. During all that, he thought to himself. He wished he could thank them for the amazing time they gave him, but he knew they probably had good reasons for not staying around. That also provoked other thoughts. Would he ever see them again? Are there other beings out there like them? He sighed to himself and figured that there was no use in pondering these questions. He was just grateful to have met these so called glowing animal ghosts. He chuckled at the name, and hefted his bag onto his back after he was finished dressing.
He looked around for second to get is bearings. He wasn't sure wgere he really was at the moment, but he knew he was north of the road his was on. The path he was on was mostly straight, and went from east to west. He had to at least tell Horis he was al right, but he wasn't sure if he should actually tell him what happened. Horis might not believe him anyway, or anyone else for that matter. He reached into his pocket, but then he became puzzled at finding in empty. He searched his other pockets frantically searching for whatever it was, until a thought struck him. He sighed angrily and palmed his face. Those little imps must have stolen it, his most important travel tool. His compass.
"Damn it..."
