Shippo and Sota
Inuyasha and all characters concerned do not belong to meh.. *cries bitter tears*
Sota grumbled softly as he packed a bag, if he was going to find Kagome and give her the fragment she left behind he would be sure to at least get a good look around while he was there and before he got shipped back by Inuyasha. Sota's eyes got a far off look as he recalled the handsome hanyou who was now his sisters husband. That had been Sota's first hint that he liked boys, he would find himself staring at the dog-eared half demon for hours, everyone thought it was hero worship and when Sota was 9 that had been the case. Yet when he turned 13 or so it had changed. He'd started to think about the older boys hair and how soft his ears looked, how his muscles would shift and flex when he taught Sota to fight with the wooden sword. Sota had been alarmed when he noticed his body responding to these thoughts, it wasn't natural was it? Yet it hadn't mattered at all, his feelings didn't change even when Inuyasha married his sister. Sota had of course hidden his feelings on that day and all others. At sixteen he was no longer alarmed or ashamed of his feelings but he wouldn't ever risk hurting his beloved sister. Finally the young man shook of his remembrances and finished packing, sure to bring all the things he recalled his sister packing including but not limited to medical supplies, instant meals, ramen for Inuyasha and chocolate for the kitsune boy Shippo.
"I'm going Mom, tell grampa I'll be back in a week." Sota spoke quietly to his mother as he left.
"Be careful sweetie.." His mother fretted more about him than his sister at this point.. She had the advantage of her hanyou to take care of her.
"I will Mom see you soon"
Sota stood at the side of the well looking down into the darkness. The shard of the Shikon jewel seemed to glimmer unaturally in his hand as he closed his fingers over it and sat on the edge of the well. Swinging his legs over he lost his balance and fell into the seething blackness. He braced his athletic frame for the impact of hard earth but it never came. Instead he found himself floating for a split second and lights flashed blindingly before he landed with a soft thud. He looked up and found himself staring at the bluest sky he'd ever seen.
"I really did it.. Holy Shit!" He smiled broadly and pocketed the shard as he climbed his way up the vines that lined the inside of the well.
As he reached the top he started as a hand was thrust toward him, sharp claws on the fingertips gave him a moments pause. He mentally shrugged as he took the offered hand and was hauled the rest of the way up with inhuman strength. He turned on his unexpected assistant expecting to see Inuyasha but instead came face to face with a very handsome stranger. Sota blinked in surprise as the young man smiled cheerfully to him.
"You must be Sota, You have to be right, cuz only people with shards can come through and the only boy that could get one would be Kagomes brother right?" the Youkia reasoned outloud.
Sota nodded dumbly as he realized this must be Shippo, but when Kagome spoke of the kitsune it was always as though she refured to a child not an adult. Shippo sniffed at the air and grinned looking all the world like a little boy.
"You brought chocolate didn't you?" sniff sniff "I can smell it, you do plan on sharing don't you?" Shippo gave the other boy his best puppydog eyes.
Sota recovers enough to smile a bit and shrug out of the pack. "I remembered Kagome would pack it for you all the time so I brought you some" He kept his head lowered trying to hide the blush. Bringing the little boy in his mind chocolate had seemed innocent enough but when faced with the grown up version he couldn't help feeling a tad bit shy. Shippo had no such issue and immediately started to go through the rucksack once it was set down, coming up with two bars of chocolate and a box of pocki. He smiled to Sota and rattled the box.
"You'll share this too right?" wiggling his brows like he just found a dirty magazine or something.
Sota rubbed the back of his neck and chuckled. "Sure I will, help yourself"
Shippo grinned gleefully and went to town on the first bar of chocolate.
"But hey can you tell me where my sister is I need to let her know she left this behind" Showing the kitsune the shard.
Shippo's eyes went comically wide as he shook his head. "I love Kagome to bits but sometimes" He sweat dropped."she and Sango and Kaede went to help with a birth" Shippo shuddered "anyway Miroku and Inuyasha went along as protection, I didn't feel well so I stayed home"
The two young men walked along the now well worn path from the well toward the village, Shippo stopped at a hut just next to Kaede's. "This is my house, you can stay with me till the others return" Sota was a bit flustered by the idea but his manners picked up right away, he bowed to the kitsune professing his thanks for the hospitality. Shippo smiled as he finished the chocolate bar and licked his clawed fingers. "It's nothing, Kagome is like my mom so you're like family too right?" smiling he led the way into the modest home.
Shippo filled Sota in on the recent events of Kagome's life. Since school had ended she came home even less and less so than that once she and Inuyasha were finally mated. It seemed his sister thought she might be pregnant. Sota barely contained his boyish whoop of joy at the very idea of being an uncle. Shippo grinned and noted that his responce had been very similar. As they chatted Shippo devoured the other chocolate bar along with the entire box of pocki. Sota smiled a little, Kagome sure hadn't been kidding about the other boys appitite. Shippo leaned back on one clawed hand and rubbed the other over his flat stomach. Sota bit his lip as he took in the trim figure of the boy across from him.
Clearing his throat Sota looked away "so Shippo, what do you guys do for fun?"
Shippo smirked "hunt the bad youkia, but I don't think that's something you can do" said with his usual candor.
"Inuyasha taught me to fight." Sota began only to be cut off by Shippo.
"Inuyasha isn't the best swordsman you know, it's only the Tetsusaiga that gives him such prowess." he went on to say "I've learned a bit more out of nessecity, maybe I can teach you while we wait for the others to return" Shippo arched his brows sitting forward as he waited for the young humans answer.
Sota worried his lower lip, just as his sister was want to do when she thought something over. Finally he smiled and nodded decisively. "That would be great Shippo-san"
So after Shippo gave his treats a little while to settle he and Sota were walking down toward the river, practice swords in hand. Shippo immediately stripped down to his pants knowing they would work up a sweat in the mid day heat. Sota gulped softly as he noted that for such a slim boy Shippo was very well muscled, brown eyes turned to the ground as he tried to collect his thoughts.
"Hey, you'll never learn or be able to block if you wont look at me" Shippo warned, seemingly unaware of his new pupils over interest in the play of muscle and sinew and beneath bronzed flesh.
"Right" with that Sota lifted his gaze and put his mind to the task at hand. Shippo was gorgeous but that was no reason to gawk. At least not when the other boy would see it..
The two practiced sword play for several hours, till the sun set and Sota's human eyes wouldn't allow him to continue. Shippo and Sota decided they would have a quick meal of Inuyasha's ramen and then turn in to start early the next morning. Sota barely held back a gasp as Shippo loosely put an arm around his shoulders.
"I can see a lot better than you, I'll make sure you don't trip" Shippo announced as though he was protecting Sota from monsters and such. Sota smiled, this reminded him so much of Kagome's story's of the the young kitsune's bravado. It took an act of willpower for Sota not to lean into the other boy as they walked back to the hut, he repressed a shiver as the musky scent of exertion met his nostrils. The two ate in companionable silence and retired to opposite sides of the fire. Both were quite worn out from their sparring.
Chapter Two:
The next morning the boys were up bright and early, quickly making their way to the river and the clearing they had used. Sota followed Shippo's example and stripped down to his pants, he felt the young kitsune's eyes roam over his body. He wondered if his athletic frame came up to snuff in the fudal era Sota didn't lift weights or anything like that, but he had played sports in highschool and now in college he made time to go to the gym. Shippo decided they would spar using the techniques he had shown Sota yesterday afternoon. Sota agreed determined to make an impression. After several hours practice both were flushed and breathing heavily. Sota couldn't help being affected by the sight of Shippo slick with sweat and panting from the work out. Brown eyes slid slowly along the heaving plains of the youkia's chest, down over the flat bare stomach. He gulped softly as he put the tip of the wooden sword to the ground and placed his hands on the hilt, a sad attempt to hide his body's reaction. Luckily Shippo seemed not to notice the change and continued demonstrating the new style he had picked up recently. Shippo had it seemed quickly recovered his energy from the last bout and was eager to show Sota the next series of stances.
"You weren't kidding about being a better swordsman than Inuyasha" Sota said softly as he watched the grace and balance of the other young man.
Turning and swaying almost in a dance Shippo beamed with pleasure at the compliment. "Don't tell him I said that though alright? He'd probably use the Wind Scar on me or something."
Sota grimaced at the idea of the vivid and handsome young man before him being wiped off the face of the Earth. "Of course not" He smiled "as long as you help me get at least half as good as you are"
Shippo lept at Sota, fangs bared, swinging his wooden sword in a high arc. He landed on the other boy forcefully and brought down the weapon, his features relaxing in a smile as Sota easily countered. "If you were a demon you'd stand a chance"
Sota looked up at the russet haired figure astride him, not sure if he was pissed about being found lacking due to his humanity, or completely turned on by the fact that the other boy was on top of him. Sota settled on pissed and human or no he growled as he thrust his sword against Shippo's. He pushed the boy off him and rolled to his feet, squaring off with his companion.
Shippo blinked in surprise as he looked up at the angry young man, regaining his feet in an instant a feral smirk turned his lips as he face him.
This time as the wooden weapons clashed it was not about teaching or learning but about Sota proving that just because he was human didn't mean he suffered some great handicap. They thrust and parried, dodge and rolled for what seemed like hours. The fire in Sota's gaze never dimming, he watched his opponent with a perceptive gaze judging where Shippo would step or when he would strike. This worked well to keep Sota from being hit but didn't do much for his offensive. Sota realized this and became more aggressive. This gave Shippo the opening he'd been waiting for and he swept the other boys legs out from beneath him and pounced. Once again straddling Sota's hips he smirked down at him. "I win."
Sota frowned and thrusts his hips upward trying to buck Shippo off of him. This only made the fox boy smirk more. He leaned over Sota, his ears laid back on his head, growling softly. "Say it, say I beat you" Shippo's gaze was not threatening but he seemed to really want the admission.
Sota gritted his teeth and muttered. "You win, now get offa me!" Shippo gathered his legs under him and bounced to his feet grinning broadly. Sota turned an interesting shade of crimson as he felt Shippo's thighs brush his hips in the seconds before he got up. Shippo offered the red faced one a hand up. Sota accepted and got to his feet, quickly turning his back and heading toward the river. He shucked his pants and waded into the cool water in his boxers. Shippo watched from the shoreline with a knowing smile. The two young men swam for a while then returned to the village for a late lunch, Shippo had caught a couple of rabbits before joining Sota in the river. They worked together to cook and clean the meat, setting it to roast over a small fire as they went back outside.
Soon enough some of the children had pulled them into a game of hide and seek. Shippo hid where the children would easily find him. His red hair and tail a dead giveaway in the boughs of the cherry tree. Sota was a bit more of a challenge as he had lain flat on the roof, it took Shippo's keen sense of smell to locate the clever fellow. Sota smiled down at the kids and scolded playfully. "No fair you guys" looking to Shippo "you're supposed to be on my team" Shippo just grinned and shrugged, moving to grab Sota by the hips and help him down from the roof. Sota sort of stumbled a little as his feet touched terra firma but Shippo steadied him with a smile.
That night after dinner Sota excused himself to take a walk, insisting that there was no need for Shippo to accompany him. Sota set off from the hut at a jog, moving away from the village and into the forest. He stepped off the path and into the trees, finding a comfortable nitch he sat with his back against a tree. He sighed as he leaned his head against the rough bark, wondering how he would get through another three or more days alone with the sexy kitsune. He groaned as he felt the by now familiar tightness in his slacks, he was surprised the fabric hadn't just given up by now.
With a soft groan of surrender Sota unzipped his slacks and freed his throbbing member to the cool night. He leaned his head back against the tree and bit his lip as his fingers closed around the rigid length. Slowly he stroked his hand up and down his straining shaft, his breath already in short gasps as gradually his pace quickened. His moans were stifled by the rough hold of his teeth upon his lip, his hips thrust upward into his fisted hand as his other hand gripped the gnarled roots of the tree fiercly. Behind his eyes he pictured the well built fox demon, slick with sweat and panting from exertion though in his fantasy it was no sword fight that had brought on this state. He groaned as he pictured the other boy bending over him, thrusting into him. With a gasp for breath as he found his release he grunted the name of the young man he had come to want so badly.
In the darkness above Shippo blinked softly in surprise, he'd followed Sota to be certain the human boy was safe on his walk. Careful to at least give the appearance of privacy he had hovered near by as Sota stopped to rest. He'd smelled the scent of arousal on the other boy but had not thought he would seek his release here. Green eyes had watched transfixed as Sota had stroked his hand along his turgid sex, Shippo had whimpered softly feeling his own body respond to the sight below him. Thankfully Sota had been to carried away in his own pleasure to hear the sound. When Sota had grunted his name Shippo had almost fallen out of the tree. The kitsune steadied himself and fangs chewed at his lip while he watches Sota clean up and head back toward the village, he hurried to catch up then over take him needing to be back at the house first.
Sota felt marginally better when he returned and sat across the fire from Shippo, he gave the other a smile.
"Did I miss anything?" Sota joked as he picked at the remains of dinner
"Huh?" Shippo asked definitely distracted.
Sota frowned softly and muttered that it was nothing leaving the fox boy to his own thoughts as he reclined on his pallet. Brown eyes looked up at the ceiling of the small dwelling and he grimaced as a though occurred to him. Could Shippo smell the proof of his ah.. activities?! Sota groaned and threw his arm over his eyes, mortified.
Shippo lifted his head, smelling the bitter scent of shame, he frowned softly not sure what he could say to ease the other boy's discomfort. So he remained silent as he moved to throw away the scraps and then to his own bed. He swallowed thickly as he too studied the ceiling, the smell of spent passion seeming heavy in the air. Shifting on his bed he turned his back to the blaze not wanting to add to Sota's embarrassment should he note the growing bulge in the loose fitting pants.
Despite full bellies and a full day it was some time before either boy found slumber, and when they finally did their dreams made it far from the restful repose it should have been.
