Alternative Lessons: Chapter Two

Chapter Two:
The bus slowed down as it reached the stop, the three furs congregating there all standing as they caught sight of it. Shuffling around to the front, the trio waited quietly until the hiss of the door folding open. Each climbed up the steps, dropping in the toll for the ride before they wandered further in to find seats.
"Wait!" Fawn dashed along the sidewalk, waving her arms in the air for the bus driver's attention "Hold the bus!" Luck was on the feline's side for the evening as the driver caught sight of her; waiting the few seconds it took Fawn to get to the stop. She was softly panting as she climbed up the stairs, taking a few seconds to fetch out her wallet and get the change before dropping it in.
Smoothing out her skirt, Fawn made her way to the back of the bus, taking the last seat there. Her legs somewhat subconsciously pressed together, hands dropping into her lap, slouching a little in the seat as her tail wound across her waist. She slowly caught her breath as the bus started forwards along the street, watching the cars passing by as it did.
A few minutes passed before the bus slowed for another stop, a flick of Fawn's ear bringing her attention towards the doors as they pulled open. A pair of furs got on at the stop, one a slightly scrawny lion who's mane had been mangled into a ragged Mohawk, the other a towering and obviously muscled Doberman. Both were dressed in a similar fashion, leather jacket, dark-colored shirt beneath and leather pants. They paused in the middle of the bus before the lion caught sight of the white feline seated by herself in the back. Whispering up to the canine, both snickered softly behind a pair of smirks and started to the back of the bus.
Fawn caught the glance the pair directed to her, growing nervous rather quickly as she noticed she was alone in the back of the bus as the two approached. The lion sat down next to her, with the Doberman kneeling in the seat in front, turned to face back to the kitten "'Eyas there, whatchu doin' all back 'ere by yerself cutie?" The lion spoke up, sliding against Fawn and bringing an arm around her shoulders. As her nose wrinkled when he spoke, Fawn made a little face, the scent of alcohol strong on the lion's breath "I'm going to meet my friends..." She mumbled, trying to scoot away from the lion.
"She's gonna meet her friends, how cute!" The Doberman remarked, leaning in a little closer to Fawn, his grin now showing off the row of gleaming white teeth in his muzzle, making the kitten cower down a little "Yeah, well 'ow's 'bout me n' mah pal keep yah entertained 'til yah meet ?em, eh?" The lion spoke before the pair laughed, the feline sliding closer to Fawn, leaving her pinned against the side of the bus "'Eeey, whatchu slippin' 'way fer? I'm jus' gonna warm yah up ah bit..." He leaned in closer to the now terrified feline, Fawn's eyes now wide as she found herself trapped in that spot.
A rather painful blow landed to the back of the lion's head, leaving him slumped down atop Fawn for the few seconds it took the white feline to push him off, catching sight of a paw grabbing and twisting one of the Doberman's ears almost the full way around, the canine howling, turning his head to try and alleviate some of the pain.
As she shoved the lion off her finally, the limp feline drooped down in between the seats, leaving Fawn's gaze to trail from that black paw on the Doberman's ear up along the semi-buff arm to find Athena standing there, turning her paw further to twist the ear it held even more "Just what the fuck do you think you're doing?" She growled to the now almost cowering canine in the seat before her "W-w-we was just keepin' this girl entertained, 't-t-til she met her friends..."
"Yeah, well then you both can just" Athena paused a moment to deliver a swift kick to the stomach of the lion "Fuck off now, because one of her friends is here."
Did she really just call me her friend?
Athena pulled on the canine's ear, threatening to tear it off in the motion as he scrambled from the seat, getting an elbow directly in the forehead from Athena as he moved "Now get the fuck off the bus." She commanded, giving the lion another kick in the stomach, the golden leonine groaning as he nodded. The Doberman pulled on the stop wire after that, helping the lion to his hind paws before they quickly moved to the front of the bus. As it came to a stop, Athena sat down next to Fawn, touching a paw softly on her shoulder "Are you alright Fawn? They didn't touch you or anything before I got here, right?"
All Fawn could manage was a little nod, a look of awe on her face from the treatment dished out by the canine in rescuing her "Thank you..." She whispered, almost staring into Athena's gaze before she realized she was, tearing herself away and noticing the canine's outfit in the process.
Where as Fawn had no time to change out of her school uniform, that didn't apply to the canine, Athena having on some rather casual attire. A pair of long denim bellbottoms attired the canine, a hole cut for her bushy tail to emerge from above her firm behind in the denim. A matching denim cropped shirt rested on her defined shoulders, the garment ending just a few inches below the swell of her breasts, leaving her black tummy fur along with the reddish-brown patch over her belly button visible, along with the barbell piercing said belly button. The sleeves stretched right down to her wrists, leaving her paws revealed, the black fur of the top of her left paw dotted by a brown patch, while her right paw's palm had a red spot in it's fur. The fur along her face was a bit softer than the rest of her coat, her black-furred ears a bit long, lifting up from amongst her fluffy black head fur before flopping downwards. Athena's head fur was left long, bangs coming to just above her striking sky blue eyes, its tips reaching down behind her to her upper back. Her muzzle was a little longer than Fawn's but still short, black nose fitting well to her black facial fur, save for the spot of red surrounding her left eye.
"I couldn't let someone hurt one of my friends, now could I?" Athena replied almost brightly, taking both of Fawn's paws in her own, giving them a firm squeeze as she smiled to her "You on your way to the Blue Carpet now?"
"Y-yes, I was gonna meet my friends there..."
"Good, we can go there together then. That is, if you don't mind me tagging along?"
Tagging along? Oh, I'm really gonna mind.
"No, not at all!" Came Fawn's bright reply.
