October reward story for Dark Claw!

Alan and Zack hit it off big time, and they've decided that they wanted to spend more time together since the night was still young. Alan's continual growth wasn't lost on himself, but he wondered just how long it would take the fox to notice that his date wasn't the little bunny that he started as!

The date was a smashing success. Alan was over the moon at the fact that he'd found someone that both enjoyed the hobbies that he liked and could keep up with him at the same time. Hiking was a breeze for someone as active as he was, and it was all the better having the silver-furred fox around to walk the trails with.

And what a time the pair had! The evening had zoomed past them into night, leading the two of them to call it earlier than expected. But it wasn't like their time was a total bust as they spent the entire hike talking about their various interests and comparing their similarities, already planning further dates beyond that evening.

The both of them had grown ever closer in their time together, going so far as to feel comfortably holding hands in spite of only meeting that day. It was strange for the both of them to be sure, but nothing that either of them fought. They both wanted this.

Zack in particular felt flustered at how fast things progressed, but he didn't outwardly show it. He couldn't stop himself from stealing glances of the cottontail rabbit beside him, noting the handsome visage that the young lapin possessed. There was one odd thing that he'd noticed, however - his friend's clothing looked rather odd in his opinion. "You know, I don't think I realized how short your shirt is until now."

Alan tried in vain to prevent his ears from fluttering when he heard that. "Ah, yeah, it must've shrunk in the wash and I just never noticed until I got out here."

"Yeah, that's happened to me before," Zack chuckled, keeping his balance on the hill that they walked down. "I'll be sitting all day, and then I only recognize that something's off when I stand up. Then - uh oh - I find out that I must've been too aggressive with my laundry somehow!"

"And you only find out well after you wash it because it looks totally normal when you're folding and putting it away," Alan grinned. Perhaps the clue was too subtle for the canine to notice, but he knew that wouldn't last forever.

Zack rubbed his face as he wryly smirked. "Story of my life, I tell you. I'm far too inattentive about some things when I really shouldn't be."

It wasn't long before the two of them made it back to the parking lot, immediately finding Alan's car as there weren't many others left. The slight change in his size wasn't much in the grand scheme of things, but it meant that his tried-and-true configurations for his car weren't so accurate anymore. The seat needed to be set just a little bit further back, as did the mirrors need adjusting.

Zack didn't register anything strange going on, thinking that the brown-furred rabbit was just getting himself comfortable. His seat, however, absolutely needed to be readjusted. It made him wonder if his friend only drove around people shorter than he was.

"Oh yeah, I was gonna say that you'd wanna fix the seat."

"I got it, don't worry about it," Zack replied, reclining back a bit.

Alan thanked his lucky stars that he'd discovered someone as patient as what the vulpine was. There'd been guys that he'd met in the past that would've raised a slight fuss about something as simple as that, though he tended not to stick around those guys for too long. His life was far too short to worry about people like that.

He started the car in a matter of seconds and pulled out of the parking lot, able to zip onto the road thanks to there being no traffic in sight. Barely any sounds were made besides his own vehicle, making it exceptionally quieter than when he brought the two of them to the bluffs in the first place.

His mind went on autopilot as he drove along streets that he'd been down hundreds of times, allowing him to think about the fox again. To think things moved along so quickly that he was taking someone that he'd just met that day back to his apartment! The other man was special, and he was happy to know him.

The idea that he'd be having company that night made his cotton puff tail shake in glee. It'd been far too long since he had someone else not even spend the night, but simply stay for dinner, that he only just remembered that he hadn't deep cleaned his pad in quite some time. It worried him that his guest might say something, but he figured that the canine was chill enough to not care too much.

Spending so much time with his mind on the fox got Alan's heart racing, filling him with a familiar warmth that he'd come to welcome. Only marginally visible, his body reacted to the thoughts, swelling his frame bigger just enough that his initial adjustments were already not enough. His shirt had gotten that much smaller in the span of seconds, matching the tufts of orange fur that the fox had peaking out with his own off-white fuzz just above the collar.

He made sure to fix all his discomfort at a red light, the vulpine beside him sitting with his eyes closed. It made him wish that he could've been witnessed getting bigger. Oh well, there were more chances ahead!

The rest of the drive was relatively anticlimactic, with only a random pothole that he didn't know about throwing him off for a brief moment. Alan led his date through the complex up to his apartment, the fox admiring the view from being so many storeys off of the ground. That's what happened when one lived on the ground floor.

Keys sliding into the lock became second nature to him and he had the door opened in record time, opening it to allow the other man to enter before him. He tried to not give it away that the handle in his grasp felt smaller than it used to, his expression a mix of surprise and delight.

That wasn't the only thing that he'd observed in that short amount of time as the door frame itself felt a bit snugger than before. Not by much, of course, as he was far from getting stuck in it, but he definitely saw that the top of the wooden trim looked much closer than it used to. How much taller had he gotten? He honestly lost track!

"Hope you're good with salmon, because that's what I was planning on making tonight."

"Yeah, that's totally fine with me, but, uh..." Zack paused after taking a seat at the table. "I could've sworn you said you're a vegetarian at some point."

Alan smirked. "Used to be. I tried it for a few months, but there were some things that I just couldn't live without." The front door closed behind him and he scurried into the kitchen. He prepped all the ingredients for the meal ahead of time, thankful for his habit of making twice as much food in order to have something to eat later. "You can pry cheese from my cold, dead fingers."

That got Zack to giggle. "Oh man, I doubt many people could actually give up cheese altogether. I know I'd have a hell of a time with that!"

"First thing I did after stopping was make myself a grilled cheese sandwich," Alan stated, shoving the prepared broccoli into the preheating oven. "I might've made it many times before then, but at that moment it might've been the tastiest damn thing that I've ever made."

"I bet. You practically starved yourself of it, so it makes sense that your body craved it." Seeing the rabbit bounce around the place got him antsy thinking that he should be doing something too. "You need any help?"

"Nah, I've got everything under control." The thought made Alan feel warm and fuzzy. He definitely found a keeper.

And those remarks that he kept making about the fox had his body continually reacting. Another inch had tacked onto his frame, but his musculature also booned as a result. Clearer definition was what he'd gained, with his chest in particular becoming more visible through the material of his shirt. It put a smile on his face when he witnessed more bulk casually coming in. He'd never had arms with evident biceps before.

Whether or not the canine noticed wasn't of much concern to him at the moment as he was more focused on making sure that the protein didn't burn. Thankfully he'd gotten a ton of practice with fish, but cooking for someone else was still nerve-racking.

Alan brought two full plates over to the table, placing one in front of his date. "Bone apple teeth!"

"Oh, you charmer," Zack stuck his tongue out as he accepted the cutlery given to him.

The fact that the two of them had continued hitting it off got Alan to blush, though it didn't come through very much in his facial fur. What did come through was another growth spurt, one that ramped up his previous increase. His shirt now showed his midriff entirely, displaying the taut abs that had developed over the course of that evening. He could feel his pants fighting a similar battle as his thighs thickened out into balls of muscle that any bunny would be proud to have.

And how it all felt so good! It took him everything that he had not to shudder from the euphoric sensation radiating throughout his body. Man, was this what bodybuilders went through? He could understand why guys hit the gym so much now. This was awesome!

Off in his own little world, Zack wolfed down his dinner, feeling extra peckish that night. "Hot damn, my compliments to the chef!" He stifled a burp.

"Thank you, thank you," Alan grinned, his pride massaged. It was only then that he noticed the utensils in his hand felt funny, like he was able to grip more of them than he usually could. That set his blood pumping hard.

The other thing that he noticed was that he wasn't exactly full yet, which was exceptionally odd for his usual meal, but that night was anything other than usual. "Here," he stuck out his hand to ask for the canine's plate, taking it to the sink before digging into the remaining food left. There was something satisfying about needing more to sate his hunger - and yes, he _needed_it.

"Worked up an appetite, huh?" Zack laughed, stretching his limbs. "Oof, might need to lay down after all that."

"Don't suppose you'd join me on the couch then," Alan shot out the invitation, seeing if the fox would go for it.

"I would be thrilled." The offer was accepted, with Zack being led by the noticeably larger rabbit to the sofa. Somehow, in spite of how different his friend now looked, he still hadn't recognized anything having happened yet. He might just never at this rate.

That didn't bother Alan one bit. Flopping over on his side like his species were known to do, he stretched out his hand to guide the fox on top of him. The weight of the other man wasn't as bad as he anticipated it would be, though that was more than likely because they were of similar size now. It tickled him greatly that he'd gotten around a foot taller and probably doubled his weight without even knowing how.

Nothing needed to be said as the pair of them enjoyed each other's company. The bunny had a contented sigh stuck in his throat as he felt the vulpine nuzzle up against his newly gained bulk. It'd been ages since he'd had someone else with him like this, though he was normally the one being held due to his formerly short height. Being in the other position rocked.

Zack also enjoyed it, though he'd been with bigger guys before thanks to having participated in some rougher sports before in his life. None were as cuddly as the rabbit, however, and he was extraordinarily happy with the current arrangement.

That was when he felt his nose tingle for some odd reason. He couldn't place why at first, until he took a deep breath and understood - he'd been inhaling the bunny's musk. It forced a deep crimson blush onto his cheeks, though he didn't instantly get up; he didn't want to, and not because he was comfortable.

Truth be told, he actually really liked how the rabbit smelled. Really liked it, in fact, as he found himself taking another deep breath just to whuff the other man's body some more. His friend had some naturally great-smelling aroma about him that he was actually a bit jealous of. It made him a bit envious that his wasn't as strong as what this was.

But that didn't matter at all. He was far too happy just lying there and sniffing more of his date's intoxicating scent. Every whiff had him digging his snout ever so much deeper into the rabbit's shirt, which was practically saturated with the stuff. He was on cloud nine in mere moments.

None of that was lost on Alan, of course. He'd been feeling the fox grow more intimate with his body as they cuddled there on the couch, not saying a thing as he didn't want to ruin the moment. The touch given to him actually fluttered his heart, not only because he had feelings for the fox, but also that his friend seemed to unintentionally be reaching lower than he thought. He smirked when he felt his cock get grazed through the fabric of his pants.

Zack's mind short-circuited when he felt something was wrong. "Wait," He pushed himself to see the rabbit in full, the gears in his head freezing in place when he instantly recognized the dramatic differences before him. His eyes went wide as his jaw fell agape. "I know you weren't this big before!"

"Yeah, literally only started happening today. I'm surprised it took you this long to notice." A playful grin wormed its way across Alan's face as he watched the fox bashfully inspect his larger form. Honestly, he found the sight rather cute considering how sure of himself his date was earlier.

Zack shook his head, his brain trying its damndest to process his baffling discovery. "Like I said in the car ride, I'm incredibly inattentive if I don't know what I'm looking for."

"Does it bother you at all?" Alan arched a brow, slightly nervous now.

"God no!" Zack laughed back. "I'm honestly all into this. I don't know how you did it, but I think I'm smitten," He placed his head on the other man's pecs, staring at the bunny eye-to-eye with a big grin on his face.

It was Alan's turn to blush, harder than he had the entire day so far. "O-Oh?"

"You know it, hot stuff," Zack shot him a sly wink. "Maybe it's too early for me to leave right now."

"Maybe you oughta stay the night," Alan returned the look with one of his own.

There was only one thing on Zack's mind right then. "Don't mind if I do."
