Epilogue
Years later.
Sachmet was married to Seth, Frank had been captured by Nephtys, and Isis was more than happy with Stephen Fang.
Camilla Queen was the main character of Queen Manor with Anuset.
While Stephen was still working at the Central Library, Frank had enrolled at the university and was studying psychology.
Nephtys, Sachmet, and Seth had started a security company together, specializing in protection automation, and Taxon had quickly become their best customer, especially after they could credibly assure that the cargo-carrying Taur the company supplied to Queen Manor had posed a danger to the general public, and Taxon was lucky that the Taur happened to get to them.
Camilla and Anuset were the only ones who did not have regular jobs, but instead took care of raising their offspring. The wish to have children had come true and had surprised both of them. While originally two children were planned, Anuset, as a mule-stallion-jackal hybrid, had outdone himself and given his fox-wolf not only more hot hours and nights, but also a colorful triplet birth, consisting of a wolf-jackal hybrid, a mixture of mule and fox, and a fox-wolf hybrid with a horse's tail.
Everything was proceeding along regular, almost stuffy lines until suddenly, one Sunday, the phone rang.
"Queen Manor," purred Frank Simson, slightly bored, into the speaking shell. "Frank Simson?" asked a female voice. "Yes, that's me, and I'd appreciate it if you'd tell me your name." "This is Lina Onari." "Miss Onari, what can I do for you?" "Wake everyone up. Maahes and I will be with you shortly. We have received a distress call. There is trouble in the Elara system."
Postscript:
I know that you torture yourselves through my works and I am also happy if I am written to or at least get a comment. I am even happier about private messages, especially because then you can write freely and maybe get to know people better and sometimes friendships are formed at least online.
With the epilogue of Camilla Queen has come for the first time in this direction an end. However, if you look closely, you notice that I have formed a cliffhanger. So it will go on sometime.
