White Wolf Chapter 4 (English)
#2 of White Wolf
Nothing special to say, except... I'm sorry for the delay XD
Anyway, new chapter, yey! :D
I opened my eyes as daylight began to enter through my window. Although the heat was already absent at that time in November and the cold took its place, my fur helped keep me warm. At least, inside the house, because outside I still needed to wear warm clothes. I had to admit that inside the house I wore some layers, but I wouldn't give up that wonderful feeling that was to go without clothes during the day.
Every day I felt less dumb about relationships with other people. Joel and his friends would explain everything to me, and when I thought I knew everything, something new that I hadn't seen, read, or heard before appeared. It was a great thing to be able to discover things I didn't know before, mostly because now I felt that those who wanted to take advantage of me couldn't do it. It was a fantastic feeling.
Regarding my first pregnancy? Still nothing, but none of the people around me were rushing me into that aspect, which was what I wanted. However, since that talk with my parents, I wanted to spend more time with Joel to start feeling more comfortable with him and finally be able to take the step, which was obviously to declare myself.
I tried to do different things to see how he reacted and make sure that; indeed, the feeling was mutual. I touched his hand with mine "unintentionally", fell asleep and rested my head on his shoulder, flirted subtly... And he never turned him down, in fact, I could see him smile and blush when he did those things. If I wanted proof that the wolf also liked me, that was enough to settle the matter.
And since I already had clear evidence, I decided it was time to act. I liked Joel. And Joel liked me. I felt safe by his side and had changed a lot, based on what his parents told me, in order to make me feel protected and loved when some only saw me as an economic or reproductive tool. Joel had been someone wonderful and I wanted to have him by my side as a couple and as a father to my children. It would be a tough road, of that I was sure, but I wanted to take it.
Two days ago we agreed to meet to visit a Japanese-themed fair. It was curious to know that small country had survived the nuclear disaster, although I assumed that, being such a small island, hitting it when the attack is on a global scale was complicated. Returning to the fair, the plan was to propose to be boyfriends there, but not before making sure that we were both in a good mood for the big moment.
I took my mobile and checked the time. It was 10:28, so it was about an hour and a half before Joel came to pick me up by car. I decided to get up and take the opportunity to be nice the best I could. And the best thing I knew and could think of at the time was a red and black striped shirt next to a very dark gray jeans. For my classic ponytail, I opted for a ribbon to tie it in the form of a loop instead of using a normal ponytail. I really had to get serious about looking for clothes that are really chosen by me and sell most of the old clothes that my parents bought me and I didn't like too much.
After choosing the clothes and the accessory, I went to the shower, opened it so that the water would start to heat up and, after being at a suitable temperature, I got inside and began to clean my body. After finishing with the shower, I dried myself as best I knew with the dryer and dressed in the clothes, ending with a ribbon to collect my hair. I left the bathroom and went to the living room, noticing that my parents had already gone to work because they were nowhere inside the house.
I started to have something simple for breakfast such as an apple and a glass of milk, since I did not want to load my stomach much knowing that at the fair we were going to eat a lot and that Asian food had a reputation for sometimes containing spice. After being at ease, I looked back at my mobile and the time was 11:12. There was still a while to go. I sat on the couch and turned on the console, ready to beat my enemies to pass the time. It was something that did not fail me if I wanted time to pass quickly, although drawing was another option that served me the same.
When I realized it, a message came to my phone. My tail started wagging frantically when I heard the notification and picked up my phone.
Joel: I'm already outside.
Ethan: I'm going.
I turned off the console after making sure to save the game and went to the door, taking the coat and house keys. I put on my coat and opened the door, being greeted by the classic cold air of the time. I locked the door of the house and looked at Joel's car. It was a striking and quite red car. I went to the passenger door and opened it, getting into the car and being greeted by Joel, who gave me a hug when I entered, something that I accepted happily. I could hear his tail bumping into the seat, which made me smile while mine did the same.
"I wanted to see you" smiled Joel. "College is screwing me with jobs and internships".
"I'm surprised you can make time to stay with me or the rest" I replied, buckling up.
"You have to take advantage of Fridays and weekends in some way besides studying, don't you think?" Joel laughing, starting the car. "You look good, by the way. I didn't know you had clothes that fancy".
"Yes, but I must ask Elliot to come with me to buy clothes that I want" I laughed. "I don't like some of the clothes".
"Well, I like the one you have now" Joel scratched his head. "I love the little detail you did with your hair to put a ribbon instead of a ponytail".
"Hehe" I couldn't help but blush and laugh nervously. "Thank you, you look good in that light blue shirt too".
"It's no big deal" Joel's blush became apparent at that moment. "Ready to have fun?"
"Let's get to it!"
The car began to move, and the music played through the speakers of this. As most of the music I had known recently had been shown to me by Joel, they were songs that I already knew from him, so I began to sing them in tune with the wolf. I didn't know them by heart, but Joel sang them almost entirely until he ran out of breath. Hearing him sing was wonderful: he had a voice perfect for singing, although you could tell he didn't practice singing often. I assumed it was because he started to see me sing and he was encouraged to do it too, which made my mood even better.
We had to leave the city of Madrid and go a little further to the south, arriving in a smaller city, but with a lot of activity. While we parked, I could see the fairgrounds where the fair was. It was an open area with land, which without the fair in it would surely look like a plain without grace, but at that moment it was full of life. Joel finally found a place to park and we both got out of the car, walking to the fair. When I arrived, I could see how most of the fair was composed of small stalls and small attractions that did not take up much space.
Food, activities to do, people having fun... Everything was a pleasant atmosphere until some started to see me and watching. Luckily, when they realized that I had caught them watching me, they looked away and left. I guess being next to Joel made them think he was my date or the guy who was going to get me pregnant and they didn't want to bother us. Which, if I thought about it to myself, reminded me that this was like a date for me and, if Joel accepted, he would truly become the first father of my first children.
I decided to put those thoughts aside for now. Joel and I were walking around the fair quietly and didn't want to ruin this good time. I would prepare my confession later. Joel caught my attention.
"Are people bothering you a lot?" asked the wolf, noticing people looking at me. "I have noticed that many look at you".
"Thanks for worrying" my tail began to wag. "It's cute coming for you, but don't worry, it's all under control. As soon as they know I'm looking at them, they look away. If they don't come close to being all gross, I'll be fine".
"Okay" Joel smiled and looked straight ahead, seeing something that caught his attention. "Look at that!"
Joel and I approached a tent, quite large compared to other stalls. There was a sign at its entrance that read "Yukata Rental."
"They are common costumes in the festivities of Japan" Joel explained to me. "They are usually very beautiful".
"Do you want to wear a yukata?" asked one of the shop assistants when she saw us. "They are adapted for these winter climates, although it is more common to use them in summer. You can rent them until you leave the fair for about 100 euros".
"I'd love to try one on" I said, scratching my head. "But I didn't bring so much money".
"I will pay for both of us" said the wolf, to which I turned to surprise.
"They are 200 euros each, it is a lot".
"It's a little whim" Joel said. "In addition, not all day you have the opportunity to wear a suit of these".
"It still kinda bad" I blushed and scratched my head again.
"You let this wolf pay and enjoy!" exclaimed Joel laughing.
I nodded to his proposal and Joel paid the clerk, who guided us inside. There were several yukatas hanging on hangers and, on the sides of the tent, there were small makeshift cubicles to be able to change. We started looking and it didn't take long for Joel to go for a green yukata with brown vertical lines, while it took me a little longer. Finally, a black yukata of golden flowers caught my attention, so both of us, accompanied by some shop assistants, went to change with help.
It was uncomfortable to be helped by an unknown person to change me, but it was true that I had never worn that garment. In addition, I was lucky that a girl helped me instead of a boy, since considering my condition that was much safer for me. The girl was very kind and helped me put on the garment and hold the belt that held it together, which was white and gold. Along with some wooden sandals and a golden ribbon that they lent me to tie my hair and match, I could see that I looked pretty good.
The clerk also told me the same thing. When leaving, we went to some lockers to leave the clothes in them, since under the yukata I only wore a short-sleeved shirt and my boxers. It was uncomfortable to be without so many clothes, but then I understood that the woman was just doing her job and I relaxed a little. This made me wonder if I would be so embarrassed to be more naked when the time came with Joel.
While thinking about him, he appeared soon after finishing changing. The brown colors really fit him well, it didn't matter if it was because of the clothes he wore or the fur. The green tones also fit him well. The yukata belt he wore was lighter in colors. The clerk brought him next to me and left his clothes inside our locker.
"Fuck" Joel exclaimed, after seeing me. "You really look great".
"Hehe, you look good too" I smiled, blushing slightly.
We both thanked the clerks and left the tent, thinking about our next move. We weren't hungry yet, so we opted to try the tents that had games. The one we tried for quite a while was one that consisted of catching fish with a paper net. We didn't get to catch any, but at least it was fun to see Joel so focused on the little fishes that escaped him.
Another game we tried was one of throwing hoops and winning prizes. There weren't too interesting prizes in that position, but it was fun to get one in and receive a keychain with a laser, which I used from time to time. We already noticed how our stomachs roared after this game, so we decided to try several food stalls in the next place.
We didn't hesitate to try everything we found, making sure it wasn't too spicy so our tongues wouldn't burn. Luckily, everything we tried was not only tolerable in terms of spiciness, it was delicious. I didn't remember all the names, but I would definitely make sure to try making the recipes on my own when I lived alone.
The rest of the afternoon was more or less similar: play some of the games, eat whenever we wanted, enjoy some of the shows they organized in some tents ... We had such a good time that we didn't realize it was already night. And of course, there was no lack of the occasional curious look of people, but I ended up getting used to them. Joel mentioned that around 22 there would be some fireworks, so we decided to look for one last place for dinner. Joel told me that what we would have for dinner was called ramen.
However, as we walked along the lines given to us by a very kind gentleman, one stall caught my attention. It was one of those games of aim and power, where you threw a ball into a mountain of cans and had to make them fall. I saw a cute stuffed animal of a round, golden cat, which made me curious. It was quite big, I was sure it was the size of my torso. Joel, of course, came over next to me.
"Do you like that stuffed animal?" he asked, smiling.
"Yes, it's pretty pretty" I smiled, wagging my tail.
"Sir, how many cans do you have to throw away to win this one?" asked Joel to the clerk, a fairly young ermine.
"That one is a complicated one" admitted the manager. "You would have to knock down all the cans, and I assure you that you will need five shots".
"Shall we try it before dinner?" asked Joel.
"Go ahead!" I exclaimed, nodding.
I paid the clerk and he gave us five tennis balls. Joel and I agreed to throw the balls in order. First I launched, aiming at the base of the pyramid. Taking into account that I trained almost daily, I managed to knock down a large part of the cans by destabilizing the base. Joel threw and managed to knock down two more. The next two throws left only two cans standing, side by side. I had the last throw, so I took a deep breath and put all my strength into the throw, finally managing to throw the two cans.
"Fantastic!" exclaimed the salesman. "That's what I call teamwork".
"Well done, Ethan!" Joel raised his hand for me to bump into it as his tail wagged excitedly. I bumped his hand with a smile.
"Golden Neko is yours" the ermine gave me the stuffed animal.
"That's great" Joel nodded. "I'm sure you are happy, right?"
"A lot" I nodded, raising the stuffed animal in front of Joel. "Especially since I wanted it to give it to you".
"E-Eh?!" that made Joel surprised, and a big blush appeared on his face.
"Oh, well, well" the clerk said quietly.
"Yes, I think you'd look cute hugging the stuffed animal" I smiled as my tail wagged. "Come on, take it".
"Oh, I don't know" Joel smiled nervously, his blush still present and his wooden sandals brushing the ground.
"Please".
"Okay, okay" Joel laughed, grabbing the cat's stuffed animal, and hugging him. His tail wagged frantically. "Thank you very much, Ethan".
"You're welcome" I smiled too, my tail wagging excitedly.
"I'll invite you to dinner, then" smiled the wolf.
"That's fine with me".
We both headed for the ramen stall and, smelling the atmosphere, we both began to drool. Joel and I ordered some bowls of basic ramen and it was obvious that, despite being something basic, it was delicious. Of course, we ate carefully not to stain our yukata, since the last thing we wanted was to be charged for the laundry of the suits. Luckily, no broth stain ended up on the yukata and we were able to finish dinner satisfied.
To see the fireworks, Joel had seen a small open area, away from the main square that had been prepared to see them. It was a secluded area, where there would be few people and we could watch the show quietly without fear that people will give me discreet glances from time to time, which was a detail that I liked.
We finally arrived in the area after a while of walking, at which time there were only a few seconds left for the fireworks to be launched. Joel and I looked up at the sky, excited to see the show. They fired a sound rocket, warning that it would soon begin. There were always three before the show started. At least, that's what the wolf told me. A second appeared a few seconds later. And finally, the third appeared, and the sky began to fill with multiple vibrant colors that flew, exploded and slowly faded.
It was my first fireworks show and, if I was honest, some tears of emotion felt down for being able to witness it. After the first minute, I looked away from the fires and looked at Joel. The wolf was still staring towards the flying lights, making his eyes shine with the reflection of these as he held the cat's round and cute stuffed animal in his arms. It looked beautiful. I couldn't see a better time to tell him something I'd wanted to tell him for a long time.
"Joel?"
"Hmm?" Joel looked away from the sky and looked at me, smiling.
"I had a great time today" I smiled with him.
"Me too" Joel nodded.
"Hey... What do you think of me?" I asked, not wanting to ask the question immediately.
"My thoughts about you?" Joel looked back at the sky, thinking his answer. "You are an amazing wolf. And not because you are a white wolf. I see that you have a lot of strength and that's something I admired since I saw you on the first day. You are still somewhat innocent, but in such a short time you have learned a lot" Joel laughed lightly, looking at me again. "That shows me you're a smart guy. And very creative, if we talk about your drawings. And you showed us how independent you are, which is very good in your situation. And physically... I will not deny it, you have a body that makes people want to fuck with you".
"Hahaha, what an occurrence!" I exclaimed with a laugh.
"You're a fantastic person" Joel nodded.
I smiled one last time and prepared for what I was going to do. With the fires still on the sky and exploding in beautiful lights, I took a deep breath and let go, to which Joel looked at me confused. I turned to him with a smile. I remember what I had to do. No pressure, no going fast. I must turn my muzzle to make it more comfortable for both of you. Once I was sure, I rested my hands on his shoulders. This only made him smile. He knows it, and so do I.
I raised my head, turned it slightly, and began to approach, closing my eyes. At first, I only noticed cold air, and at the same time, Joel's warm breath. But then I noticed a soft, wet feeling, plus Joel's breaths were all I felt in the moment. At last it had happened. At last I was kissing Joel. One of the people I have loved for the first time and hope to love forever. No, I was sure I would love forever.
On my chest and abdomen, I could feel how the stuffed animal separated our bodies from touching. It was a soft sensation that I didn't dislike, although I felt like getting closer to feel Joel's warmth. I could notice the taste of the ramen we had eaten recently in his mouth, but I didn't dislike it too much. The fireworks kept ringing and lighting up the sky, but I just wanted to focus on the kiss.
When they were over, Joel and I separated, staring at each other for a few seconds until we finally smiled. No more words were needed. Only gestures were enough for us to know that it was time to return home and rest.
It had definitely been a special night.
