Trailing The Path Of The Evidence
This is a story I had planned to finish for Voretober originally, specifically Day 13 and its theme, Mad. What happened is that I grossly underestimated how brutal and unpredictable last year would be and also how long a story like this would take me. It’s April now and after a bit of late editing last night this story is now ready. I actually used an incident that happened to me at my job last year for inspiration for this story though obviously not one to one and with me inventing some more new characters rather than using Theo or the like because I was in the mood for some dog vore and he didn’t feel like a good fit for the story especially considering the ambiguous ending of it. Crazily I spent long enough writing this story that the work dynamic I’ve laid out in it has completely shifted in only a couple of months from when I started writing it and the huge shifts I’ve had at work along with the adjustment to them are another lingering thing from last year that slowed down this story. Back on point this is the story of a small bear trying to prove he can work in a big person’s world and occasionally getting taken advantage of for how hard he tries. When he gets his lunch stolen by a coworker who’s seemingly unappreciative of all he does he gets mad and decides he’ll get his revenge by making his coworkers experience what bellyaching is truly all about. Hope you enjoy the story!
Trailing The Path Of The Evidence
By: A.X. Bueno
The satisfaction of a hard earned meal. That’s what Anderson was looking forward to after finishing all of his deliveries. He’s a foot courier or contracted parts runner which is his official job title. Running or commuting mainly around Downtown Manhattan though sometimes he’ll go to Midtown and even up to the Bronx if the job really requires it but generally he tries to stick to downtown as much as the job will let him. He’s a diligent, focused worker that can and will go above and beyond both because he’s an experienced veteran of the job and because his coworkers have a reinforced habit of not showing up sometimes(some more than others) or making generally small mistakes that he tries to fix before they become real problems for all of them. The point is that Anderson, the grizzly bear with short, black headfur and an unfortunate tendency to take on other people’s work does a lot as do his coworkers when they come in for work and this doesn’t go unnoticed by their boss.
Their supervisor takes notice of it even if the higher ups above him don’t and part of that is because the bear’s boss, a honey badger named Luis doesn’t always show up either. There have been times where neither Luis or the assistant supervisor, a black bear named Natalie show up leaving the other bear practically in charge. Today though his boss not only showed up but bought them all lunch as he’s made a routine of doing on Wednesdays, his small way of showing appreciation. It saves Anderson money and while usually he’s not one to turn down a meal he almost did today. That’s because on top of bringing lunch(because his boss didn’t give any forewarning about buying lunch) he was trying to stick to a diet but with a bit of convincing and praise from his boss the grizzly decided making today a cheat day wouldn’t hurt.
They were getting burgers from one of Anderson’s favorite burger spots, The High Stack. Technically it was a burger chain but the food was good to him and considered more high quality than other burger chains that he was less fond of. Originally he was supposed to get the food but thanks to some delayed deliveries from the company that contracts his whole team more or less his boss says that he’ll go get the food after all. So Anderson texts his boss his order, he’s the last one to do so of his team of 7(counting his boss and himself) at his starting location that could use a few more people all things considered.
The grizzly goes, comes back from finishing all his deliveries and couldn’t wait to dig into his order. He thanks his boss first then grabs the vanilla and chocolate milkshake and then starts looking for the parmesan fries and the burger which turn out to be in a nearby bag made of cloth and meant to keep them warm and not in the bag he grabbed for a second which he had to give back to a coworker since it turned out to be his burger. The bear opens the bag and finds the parmesan fries with the garlic sauce they’re supposed to come with. What he sees next though is confusing and a bit disappointing to him.
“Umm… where’s my burger?? Cause this isn’t mine.”
“Are you sure that’s not your burger?” His boss, Luis looks back up now from the table he usually sits at, meal already finished.
“Yeah, I’m sure it’s not. Mine had this kind of mushroom patty on top of the regular one, this is just a double patty burger, look.” The confused ursine shows his boss the burger and a spark of realization comes to the honey badger’s older face.
“Oh! That looks like Clark’s burger…goddamn, he must have taken yours. Yeah… I think I saw him gobble down yours before he left in a hurry. Even Matthew’s was like ‘damn you finished your food already’ when he got down here. You should have been here kid.” The bear’s boss mentions two of his coworkers, one of them(Matthew’s) by his last name like he always does rather than the coyote’s first name which everyone else uses, Allen. However all Anderson really got from his boss’s words is that his burger might have been stolen by his other coworker, Clark and he’s in disbelief.
“You’ve got to be kidding me. Did he not see his own burger?!” The bear is getting agitated about the whole situation the more he thinks about it.
“I don’t know but he was so eager to grab his food and I had to tell him to fall back for a minute as I got everything set up. Unless they messed up your order, him taking your food is the only explanation because I’ve got my burger still, Jon couldn’t have taken it, no one else could have. You’re absolutely sure that’s not what you ordered?”
“Yep I’m absolutely sure. I checked the menu before I ordered and he ordered a double patty like this, my burger had a fried mushroom on top. His burger is the only one left in the bag and I know what I ordered is bigger than this.” Anderson the bear shows his badger boss the burger and his boss puts a claw to his chin in contemplation before nodding his head.
“You know what it probably is?”
“What?”
“He saw your burger and that it looked bigger and rushed to grab it. I wanted to let everyone grab their burgers themselves but he couldn’t even wait for me to finish setting them up. So in a way it is my fault but do you want to call him to be sure?”
“Yeah… yeah that’d be good. Is he really done for the day?”
“Sigh Not quite. He left behind one final delivery trying to rush out like usual.”
“I see. I just don’t get it though, he ordered a specific type of burger and looked through the menu. We all texted you our orders in advance, if he wanted a burger like mine he could have just ordered it!” The bear is both confused and frustrated that this happened with his frustration rising with all the seconds this puzzling situation remains unclear.
“It’s like I say he’s a child. Let me call him right now.” The badger with his trademark forthrightness wastes no time in dialing up the dog’s number as Anderson looks at the small looking double burger that he knows isn’t his and runs more of the same questions through his mind. There are several rings from the other line before the perplexing alleged burger thief answers it.
“Hey Lou, what’s up?” Clark plainly answers the phone with a question.
“Hey Clark. I’m here with Anderson right now, say hello Anderson.” His boss looks to the grizzly expectantly, making him part of the conversation by having him make his presence known with a mandatory greeting like usual.
“Hi Clark.” Anderson manages to say while holding back any emotion in his voice as he stands there anticipating answers to at least some of his questions.
“Hey Anderson.”
“So Clark, you know how we were having burgers earlier? Anderson here says that he got the wrong burger, that it looks like it might be yours since it’s the only one left. I just wanted to check that you grabbed the right burger. That yours didn’t look off?” The honey badger and bear wait for a response. Anderson hopes that the dog has been cornered by these questions and that a confession or admission of guilt, of this being some kind of humorous mistake, is about to be made.
“What? No, I ate my burger. Besides, I hate mushrooms.”
“You’re absolutely sure that you didn’t grab the wrong burger by mistake maybe? Yours is the only one left here.”
“Yep, I’m sure. I hate mushrooms. I’m getting on the train for a delivery, signal is bad. Talk to you later Luis.” The golden retriever hangs up the phone, leaving Anderson speechless but his boss, while somewhat disappointed, does have things to say.
“You heard him. He definitely ate your burger. I couldn’t have eaten it, Matthews couldn’t have eaten it, Jon couldn’t have eaten it. We all have our burgers. This is why I like how Natalie separates the food and hands it out to everybody, making sure that everyone gets what they ordered. That’s how I should have done it but Clark man, he just couldn’t wait. Snatched up your burger cause it looked the biggest, a dang child in how he acts. How could he steal your burger like that?” Anderson hears his boss's words and that rhetorical question but all that does is drive up the ursine’s irritation which is so close to boiling over that the grizzly can feel it about to make his body start shaking with rage.
“He seriously stole my burger?! And he can’t even admit it!? What the hell! I just don’t understand why he would do it and not own up to it?! He was the only one left and he’s got to know it. He just repeated the mushroom thing, there’s no way he didn’t eat mushrooms just now!” The bear’s voice is raised but not too much, he’s mad, he vents but he tries to control himself somewhat at least since his boss is literally sitting by him.
“No you’re right, it makes no sense but that’s just how Clark is. He’ll never admit it because he doesn’t act like a man and he just wanted the biggest burger which happened to be yours. Next time you gotta drop the delivery and be here when I get here or you can get him back next time we get lunch like this.”
The situation just makes Anderson more and more frustrated the more the details are allowed to swirl around and repeat in his mind. He tries to be a bear that lets things go, there’s a more rational and less angry part of him that wants to let this burger situation go but he can’t. And not just because it became a conversation topic between him and his boss. He can forgive a mistake, he can forgive an accident or something wrong done as long as there’s some type of acknowledgement of it or some form of consequences. He used to not consider his moral standards too high but sometimes, times like this prove him aggravatingly wrong. So it’s the lack of consideration, the overt lying and inability on his coworker’s part to even acknowledge the whole situation let alone any kind of consequences to it.
His boss did give him an idea though to fix this, an idea for revenge and in his rage-addled state of mind the bear thinks it’s a good idea. You see the courier company Anderson works for is one that hires a mixed size work force, the big grizzly is actually a micro. The deliveries he used to do were micro parts for micro clients before he got a nice promotion to a different building and department and grew to like being a larger size on a regular basis. However his size is controlled by a bracelet on his right arm that emits a specific chemical to allow micros to measure up to the bigger people in the world. If the bear were to take the bracelet off to revert to his original size to say sneak into a certain canine’s water bottle as part of a revenge plan to get proof of wrongdoing and give the golden retriever a well deserved bellyache he could do that. Of course that’s a dangerous and deranged plan but anger is known to lead to poor and impulsive decisions with probably bad outcomes.
—------------——————————————————-
“I totally didn’t think this through. I didn’t think he’d be this long. Sigh” Anderson floats utterly bored as he waits for his coworker to come back from his delivery and take a sip from his water so he can get to the golden retriever’s stomach, use his phone to take a picture of any kind mushroom matter left in there and then give the dog a fierce bellyache so he can escape and give his coworker Clark a verbal bashing in addition to the physical one he’ll have given his belly.
It’s a revenge plan that somehow made sense in the bear’s head roughly 20 minutes ago when he first hatched it. It even made sense about 8 minutes ago when he managed to unscrew the top of the water bottle and cannonball into his coworker’s drinking water before sliding the lid back on and managing to halfway screw it back into place from the inside. He has his Up Sizer bracelet(also called Equivalence Bracelets) given they have charms that spell out Up-Size and dispense the chemical that alters the height of micros, along with his phone in a water and acid proof clear pouch protector that he’ll unzip when he reaches the stomach. He got someone to cover the rest of his shift and this isn’t his first time heading in and out of a bigger anthros stomach.
Both on purpose and by accident he’s been swallowed whole before and been fine, Anderson is ready for his plan to come into play. If only Clark would get back to the main office to do his final delivery sooner. The bear is tired of floating around in water waiting for the dog to grab his forgotten water bottle and gulp him down. Floating around for multiple minutes has also allowed his rage to cool slightly though not completely. Suddenly there is the sound of giant footsteps, two sets of them. One of them has to be who he’s waiting for right? The grizzly thinks and hopes to himself that his wait is about to be over.
“Hey Luis, Clark left his water bottle on the desk for the deliveries. Should I move it?”
“Nah, when he gets back he can get it himself and I’ll remind him not to do it if I see him if not, no big deal.”
“Oh, okay.” The grizzly bear groans disappointed to hear that neither voice belongs to Clark but instead to Natalie and their boss Luis.
“Oh speaking of Clark, did you hear that he ate Anderson’s burger? That boy was mad and I don’t blame him.”
“Oh wow. Now why would he go and do something like that.”
“He saw the biggest burger and he went for it. Me and Anderson called him and he couldn’t even own up to it, talking about mushrooms and then saying the train was giving him bad signal. Man I know you wasn’t on no train you just didn’t want to admit you ate that boy’s burger.”
“Mm-hmm. No sense of responsibility. Shit like that is why I like to be here first to take the food I know is mine and then let everyone else get to theirs.”
“That’s what I was telling Anderson too!”
“He might as well give up now. Clark is never going to admit he ate his burger.” The grizzly bear is glad he’s not visible to either of his coworkers so they can’t see how hard he’s rolling his eyes at their whole conversation. He’s gonna make that dog confront the truth whether he likes it or not and he’s confident his coworker won’t like it but his plan is already in motion. As are his superiors as he hears the footsteps of both the black bear and badger start and then fade as they walk out of the room where they typically receive their deliveries.
It’s another five minutes before the grizzly hears anything significant again. A single pair of footsteps this time though followed in by another. Anderson doesn’t jump to conclusions this time but he doesn’t have to wait long before he gets to know the identity of the two giants(relative to his current size).
“Hey Clark. How’s it going? You remember our little conversation about being careful where you put your stuff?
“Hey Luis. I do.” Clark answers. Finally he’s back, Anderson thinks while going from floating to swimming in the water now. Moving his limbs again after waiting for a little under a half hour.
“You know I don’t really care but it’s a bad look if someone else walks in like say
Abby or Dylan. You know they like the table clear of everything but what we’re delivering.”
“Right, okay. Let me move it now.” Clark says from outside these thin concentric walls of metal and Anderson hears as he has this whole time with his highly acute bear ears not that it’s hard to hear people dozens if not hundreds of times your size. If the older golden retriever were to open up his metal white and black covered water bottle right now and look in he’d see a bear only slightly bigger than a single grain of rice. As it is the bear’s coworker focuses on their boss as the honey badger walks away but not before grabbing his water bottle making the water and bear inside slosh about.
“Looney Tune.” Clark mutters once he knows his boss probably can’t hear him anymore. Then he grabs the package he’s meant to deliver and prepares to take off.
Anderson angrily wonders how much longer is it gonna take Clark to take a simple sip of water and almost regrets that thought as soon as it finishes forming in his head cause suddenly there’s a pull from that straw. The roughly mid 50’s golden retriever is taking a good swig of water before he starts his run giving the sneaky, still somewhat ornery grizzly bear a swift ride as he’s sucked up from the water through a kinda narrow straw. Anderson’s ride through his canine coworker’s alimentary canal is fast enough that he only gets a very short snapshot view of Clark’s squishy pink uvula and black hole of a throat before he’s sucked down into said throat. Not so much as touching the tongue or grazing any other part of the maw.
It pulls the grizzly along with what feels like a water tower’s worth of water down into the slippery tube of muscle. Everything is wet and warm and moving as peristalsis sends Anderson further into the golden retriever’s body and to his destination, the dog’s stomach. It’s a very short trip through Clark’s throat until Anderson reaches a massive ring of muscle that his minuscule body probably would have just slipped through if it wasn’t gulped down with that sip of water. Instead he has to wait for the sphincter to let it and him through which it does in barely a second letting the grizzly plop into the stomach he was eager to mess up. The bear smiles with a malicious grin as he lands in the now mostly empty belly of the dog he works with along with water that somewhat dilutes the acid being produced by the walls of the golden retriever’s belly.
To Anderson at the size he is, the stomach is not merely some organ or sack of moving muscle in the middle of the body but a living, shifting, rather wrinkly cavern with a large mush filled lake at the bottom that could steadily grow even more as he’s reminded of that by another sip of water gushing in. It’s a mix of solid lumps, half or almost fully dissolved food and a myriad of mixing fluids. The grizzly searches and then climbs to a fold above the rising tide of warming water entering through the same pink, previously puckered hole he splashed in from.
“I’m in your guts now, Clark and they’re at my mercy. It is time for my vengeance!” Anderson thinks loudly to himself as he considers just how he’ll actually upset the dog’s belly at his barely above microscopic size.
In his frustrated haste though he almost forgot something else he dropped in here for. First he needs proper evidence that Clark ate his burger, some kind of half chewed proof that he’s sure he can find in the lackadaisical canine’s belly. The micro bear searches for all of twenty seconds before he spots something grey and rubbery surprisingly(or rather unsurprisingly given how quickly Clark scarfs down his food) intact among piles of fry and burger mush. It’s an only partially chomped on mushroom that Anderson wastes no time in whipping his phone out of its protective pouch, zooming in to get the mushroom as the main focus and then snapping a picture of this undeniable evidence while feeling very vindicated. The bear puts his phone back in its’ protector before going back to considering just how to give a real bellyache.
In the meantime Anderson can hear and feel Clark making his way through the city. Feel every time the golden retriever stops to greet and talk to somebody(which is plenty of times), every time he makes a sudden stop or starts moving again, along with feeling as well as witnessing every constricting gurgle and churn of the older dog’s sizable stomach. Anderson decides at first to just run into the stomach walls over and over again to make the dog hurl. An idea he learned about on an old tv show that he watched occasionally when he was not quite a cub but still younger than he is now as a very grown adult. The bear steps back and makes an attempt at a sprint but the “floor” of the stomach is naturally not at all stable but instead squishy, overly pliant and too slick and difficult to really move on.
Despite his initial failure to sprint into Clark’s gut walls Anderson tries his first thought up plan about three more times in a mix of stubbornness and frustration that eventually ends when he lands face first in what used to be a herb and cheese coated fry but is now just chyme floating on top of water and… other less discernible things. The micro bear steams in annoyance before picking himself back up and deciding he needs to try something that’ll work better. As he puts a paw to his fuzzy chin to think he can see one of the mushrooms he snapped a picture of only minutes ago as evidence of Clark’s shameful lie is now a little bit less intact than before as it digests along with a sizable bolus of chewed food. Micros despite what larger folks might think of them are quite a bit more hardy than the meals that don’t struggle and squirm on the way down but that doesn’t mean micros like Anderson are indefinitely immune to the acids, the churning of the strong stomach walls or the muggy, inhospitable atmosphere of somebody’s guts.
They’re just much more resistant to it than a piece of food is. However the grizzly bear who angrily schemed his way into his coworkers greedy stomach isn’t ready to stress test exactly how long he can survive in here before being converted into nutrient chyme like any other piece of food that goes through the digestive tract. So he stops and thinks as the walls compress in and pulse back out in waves of rhythmic churning and mashing. Then it comes to him that his Up Sizer bracelet doesn’t have one or two fixed sizes for him to grow or shrink into. He can adjust it to suit the situation and whatever his current needs may be, in this case causing a real upset at the core of his unsuspecting host.
Anderson starts to grow from grain sized to roughly small meatball sized, while staying less roundly shaped than a meatball. The bear wonders if Clark can feel him casually growing inside his belly even if he’s not growing by much. The dog is on the move and apparently coming off the bus as Anderson hears a gargled “beep beep, coming over” rumble through the caustic cave that Clark’s tummy is to the currently tiny bear. He hears doors opening and a woman growls out “wait a second, jeez” all from this normally unreachable spot behind layers of fur, fat and muscle. The disgruntled grizzly would have sighed at the rudeness of what was likely his coworker given how close the woman’s voice was but it’s possible someone else got in her way Anderson thinks. He doesn’t sigh because he can’t afford to lose focus and grow too large for the stretchy organ to handle.
Anderson wants to keep his revenge at least somewhat proportionate and also doesn’t want to do any lasting damage to someone he’s still got to work with. At roughly handball sized he stops the Up Sizer bracelet he wears with a few spins and grins deviously in a way not visible without some kind of truly advanced x-ray machine. The silently still steaming brown furred bruin then starts to bounce around, his greatly decreased size allowing for some truly great leaps. The stretchy, rubber-like consistency of the belly walls also helped with giving him more momentum and greater hops. After a couple of bounces less than a dozen he sees a wall push inward than the less than faint imprint of a paw coming from that same wall.
The rumble of a groan follows the appearance of the paw then comes small, circular rubs. The rubs and groans continue for a bit and for a minute Anderson slows but doesn’t stop and he picks the pace back up. There are more, stronger rumbling groans and the walls of the stomach shift and compress clearly trying to close in on what’s causing the upset but Anderson won’t stop till this belly finishes paying for its owner's inconsiderate gluttony. From above, garbled by distance and the fact voices are supposed to travel up he hears “feels like something didn’t agree with me.” There is the sound of a door opening as now the acid and chyme is starting to bubble, roil and shake from Anderson’s disruptive jumping. The muffled sound of running water comes from the outside, on the other side of fleshy walls that Anderson is not trapped in but angrily proving the master of despite how small he deliberately is by comparison.
Finally it all proves to be too much for Clark’s battered tummy to handle. All the bouncing, stomping and general moving around of Anderson I’m a place that wasn’t meant to handle all that. Anderson is propelled back up the anthro retriever’s food tube along with spit, slime and chunky chyme. He passes back out the throat through the canine’s canines and falls a short distance onto white porcelain.
Blehhh-heh
Plink
His golden retriever coworker coworker coughs him up into a bathroom sink. Clark looks at him bewildered at first, tilting his head in confusion. Anderson at first is disoriented by being spewed out in the way he was from the giant’s stomach but then he balls his fist as his rage and indignation come back and he waits for Clark to say something.
“What the hell!? Anderson, how’d you get here?!”
“Isn’t it obvious! You ate me, you greedy prick! Me and more!” The grizzly is pointing an accusatory claw right at Clark who’s dressed in sweatpants and a slightly stained shirt sporting the masked face of a killer from some slasher movie franchise. Not that that’s what matters to Anderson right now.
“Me!? What are you talking about? I’m just at the gym trying to get to my workout. What is all this??”
“You said you don’t eat mushrooms but you’re a liar! The liar who ate my burger and I want you to goddamn admit you stupid, selfish bastard!!”
“Woah, woah. What are you talking about? I told you I don’t eat mushrooms.”
“Oh, you don’t?! Look at this then. And then you should probably check the sink, I bet there’s bits of mushroom in here somewhere.” Anderson removes his phone from the slime covered protective case, pulls up the photos he wants the older golden retriever to see then hands Clark his phone. Anderson’s balding coworker has to carefully grab the phone given its size compared to his paw and then needs to squint to see what angry Anderson is talking about.
“What on earth is this?! Are these my insides? Man, you could have grown your phone a bit at least. It’s so hard to see the screen.”
“They are your insides and those are clearly remains of a mushroom among other burger things. What have you got to say for yourself now?! You so owe me a burger.”
A few moments of silence pass once more between the mad bear and the now speechlessly guilty dog. All Clark can do at first is look at the pictures of “evidence” on Anderson’s phone than
at the tiny grizzly himself.
“Well?!
“Ummm… Hmm…” That is all the dog manages to get out in the moment when he is questioned. He swallows hard, a small, visible bulge making its way down his throat. It just reminds the micro grizzly more of all that has happened and Anderson just watches with annoyed impatience as he waits for some remorse, an apology, any kind of real acknowledgment from his canine coworker. What comes next though is something he definitely wasn’t expecting.
Swipe
“Hey, wait! What- glubb blergh!” Anderson at first is shocked as Clark just straight up grabs the ornery ursine, turns on the faucet and runs the bear under it before he can finish more than a sentence. The fresh off of work dog then turns off the faucet once he feels the currently puny bear has been rinsed off enough as Anderson sputters and coughs.
“What the Ga-Hack heck was that about?!”
“I’ll see you at work tomorrow buddy!” The dog enthusiastically declares as he raises up his small coworker.
“What are you-Oh.” Anderson’s question is interrupted due to being greeted by a sight he didn’t fully get to… appreciate his first time going down, the interior of his coworkers mouth.
He’s lifted up and gets to view it in its full glory. That broad pink tongue extending outwards like a welcome mat, those intimidating off white molars and fangs, the wrinkly roof of the maw, the spots of drool on that tongue quivering with anticipation, the bulbous uvula swaying with the dog’s breath. Then there’s the eerie dark pit of the throat that the now worried ursine just escaped from. Anderson is thrown into the mouth he previously passed through and got spit out of to go through it once again but slower this time. His dog coworker takes a bit of time tasting him and his cinnamon roll-like flavor. He’s also feeling for something on the bear’s person and his eyes practically light up when he finds it.
“Unh-ha! I’ll trake ‘is” The dog awkwardly manages to mutter out as he opens his maw giving Anderson one more view of the outside world as two mountainous fingers descend onto the tasting muscle and snatch the roughly breadcrumb sized Up Sizer bracelet that Clark used his dexterous tongue to free it from Anderson’s wrist.
“Ga-Give it back. Don’t d-”
The micro bear is cut off by his whitish stalagmite obstructed view of the outside world being lost as those same toothy stalagmites clamp back down. His flavor is savored one final time with a low “mmm” of satisfaction releasing a hot, slow exhale from the throat and lungs below on him and it’s only going to get hotter. Without any sort of second thought he is swallowed down, taken into the anthro golden retriever’s awaiting throat and seized by those powerful moving muscles. Peristalsis sends him down quickly back to the stomach where he had hoped to achieve some kind of mad revenge but those hopes are dashed as he splashes back down into stomach slime and chyme.
BURRRRRAAAAPPPPP!
“Woo! Now that was a good one!” The consuming canine proclaims to no one but himself, proudly thumping his chest twice after that hearty eructation.
Surprisingly hearty given that Anderson’s small splashdown couldn’t have displaced that much air in his belly. Clark isn’t worried too much about the coworker he hastily ingested, moving on from the bathroom to get to the workout he came to the gym for in the first place. Whether the impulsive dog actually meant what he said and Anderson will be brought out and seen tomorrow or that was just a quickly thought up justification to ease a potentially guilty conscience it’s hard to tell. One thing's for sure though, Anderson certainly followed the path of the evidence for his stolen burger and it led him to its final destination.
