This is a final draft of a story I've had rattling around in my head ever since I came to the conclusion that Vorthrak could be -- and was -- seduced by fame and money and the pursuit of influence.
This part, in particular, catches up with the principal character after the events of Ryan's Journey Part 1 (coming soon to a universe near youuuuuu ... )
This is NOT a pretty story. There are trigger warnings inside the linked document, and I suggest you all read them carefully before attempting the rest of the story.
The ending of this tragedy (after parts 2+) is perhaps a redemption, but a bittersweet one.
