Tales of Adventure; Redux Chapter 2
Imported from SF2 with no description.
The Orcs so consumed by their gluttonous raiding and pillaging missed the advancing footfalls of the plated steelcaps as the furthest of the pack looked over far too late. Enek took the initiative with a firm, two bladed slice in a cross fashion angled right for the fatty pigman's neck. The paired short swords were better for stabbing than the cutting motion into the blubbery mass as he quickly discovered, the cut too shallow from the clean kill he wanted but it did it's job all the same as the Orc grunt and gasped out, hands flying to that neck as he fell back with a crashing thud to the forest floor.
The next closest had seen the exchange, but his hands so concerned with a thick bag slung over the shoulder and a limp beastfolk dragged by the scruff in his other. Before his voice could fully escape however the stomping of Enek's boots carried the man forward to plunge those points in firmly mid mast, a quick, wet squelch as the blades performed admirably in puncturing the unarmored foe.
Two down in a flash but the rest of the squad were far more ready for him after the exchange. Grunting and growling in their guttural language two more advanced at him, weapons out and ready to properly engage as the rest onlook. It was sport, just another bit of entertainment as the whole squad could have overtaken him and yet they put on this display. Their sweaty bodies marked in war paints and blood jiggled with every step forward, brandishing a mix of an axe in ones hand while the either held a reverse curved dagger of some sort clearly designed for chopping.
The sweat beaded and ran down Enek's face with a heavy swallow as he sized up the two Orcs, they had a sizable advantage in bulk and overall muscle than what he could put out, but their lumbering steps were just that, sloppy. The observers to this little exchange formed a loose semi circle around the battling trio, cheering and jeering on as Enek kept swords up in a bladed guard against any unwanted advance, slowly corralling them to just where he needed. It was a dirty trick, but combat, real combat, was about surviving. When the warmth of the sun was at his back Enek flicked the blades to catch a polished reflection right into the knife wielders eyes, getting his desired result as the figure groaned out and jerked both head and arm to block it out. An opening, just a moments worth, a miniscule thing really, but enough to exploit as he charged once more across the crushed dirt.
The Orc swiped wildly down at the man, missing cleanly only to grunt and gasp out as the sharp kiss of the blades once again stabbed twice in quick sequence. So quickly a life could end, but not quick enough as one of the damn beasts hands flew up and grabbed with enough dying forward to catch the blade in that fat and be stuck. The axe wielder screamed out and stomped forward to cut Enek down in that moment of disadvantage as the man's mind fired on it's adrenaline fueled high. The strange curved knife was a bit big and unwieldy in his hand as he snatched it up from the dead Orc, but it was weighted just fine for throwing.
The lethal arc the large knife carved through the air caught the advancing Orc right in an eye, turning the running charge into a full body flop. The amusement in the remaining three died in the same instant as they stood in watch, conversing in their tongue angrily or perhaps indecisively while making motions towards him. It gave Enek the time needed to free his short sword, rearmed once more as two more stepped forward. "How sporting of you.." Enek muttered as he spared a moment to quickly wipe brow of sweat, though the dread pit in his belly as the two Orcs instead of simply, brainlessly advancing like their companions, mimicked Enek and marched to encircle him and flank. "Well fuck me."
Catching an Orc's axe in the back wasn't how he intended his first visits to the Kinlands to go, nor how he foresaw his end, but the jaws of fate ever closed as he slowly backed away. Heart raced and thumped in his chest, he needed space, a way to keep even just one of them at arms length to have a chance at dealing with the other; a pike, an oil slick, anything. The cold sensation of the crypt once again gripped in around his neck and settled like a knot in his belly as that noose of two Orc attackers closed in. Cold.. it was so cold the chill was numbing his fingers as even the icy mist of breath showed itself again.
Even the monstrous pigmen looked on in perceived concern, animalistic instincts knew too something was wrong. That cold pit grew and grew inside him, he needed to get it out, it needed to be let free! The ice bit all along his insides, a dam burst open as the tide that followed surged down for outlet. His eyes, maybe his mouth, the ripping energy within threatened to spill free at whatever leisure it chose. Like a bucking stallion, unbroken and wild it needed to be wrangled and shepherded in the way he chose; his arm, his hand, that'd be the conduit instead. The jiggling flab of an Orc broke the moment however as he narrowly parried aside the swinging axe, chipping the metal of the blade against the weapons heft.
Before he could go for a retaliatory strike the warty beastmen continued his momentum forward, successfully ensnaring Enek in a grapple as the weapon dropped to the wayside. The crushing grip squeezed in around him as he was hugged back into the Orc, caught struggling and hopeless to break that grab. "Get OFF ME!" His voice ripped out, full of fury and dismay at having been choked *again* so soon after the last time in that frozen tomb. Again, and again, and again that damnable memory had to spring up now of all times as that cold knot explode out alongside his emotion. Like a smelting kiln with the vents flying open all that sickening, dizzying sensation inside him blew free. The grip around him suddenly iced over, snap frozen and covering in a layer of rime and frost with a gurgle from behind.
The fear and shock on the Orcs faces before him had them equally locked in place, though for a different reason as Enek snapped off that arm wrapped around his chest. The whole orcish forearm, broken just before the elbow lay in a frozen chunk in the dirt as the man's whole body ached. His back in particular felt as if it'd been flayed to the bone as ice clung heavily to his frame. Glancing over his shoulder the would be attacker revealed the bulk of the Orc and much of the area past it a sudden block of slowly melting frost. Like pale blue glass it simply *was* where it wasn't moments before while the other raiders point on and screamed in terror.
Enek's own eyes wide and trembling at the occurrence, his limbs shook with the same trembling sensation while the questions flew through his mind. The horrible pit in his stomach was gone, though in it's place a deep hunger and exhaustion took it's place. The Orcs before him stumbled to the ground, one after the other before either could flee and sink a weapon into him fortunately, oblong lumps and gashes set into the backs of both their skulls as dropping from the trees around them came armed figures. More of the beastfolk, presumably warriors of the village dressed in rudimentary wood and hide breastplates. Sling throwers maintained a high perch, their missiles in hand ready to attack him as well, while spear wields kept him at point.
Opening his hands, his swords fell to the dirt floor, winded even before the explosive release of whatever it was that had come out of him. "I think.. I need help." Hands up, palms open to show he had nothing, as basic a sign of intent as it got; and one they seemed to understand.
Managing to remain conscious this time at least their hands led him by the shoulders deeper into the embattled village where many curious faces poked out from windows or behind door curtains. Beastfolk each and every one of them, all of the same similar rodent like species, each at tallest about shoulder height to the man. They chittered on and on in a chirpy sounding language, just noise to Enek as he frowned and could only shrug his shoulders in hope the motion came through.
The simple hut roof with reed and thatch roofing was tucked into the hollow of a much larger tree that grew up around it, pleasant if not primitive compared to housing in the imperial lands. There were no doors, not traditionally to what he was used to anyway, just a simple curtain like covering across every entryway he'd seen, easily swept aside as Enek and his escort marched into the hut's interior. A very aromatic heavy décor was present, from small and simple clay bowl incense burners to even rough glass ones with various herbs and liquids stored inside them. A feminine form beastfolk sat on a covering of furs, lazing about when the entourage entered and quickly exchanged words.
His guard as quickly as they'd walked him along simply left him in the females presence as her curious eyes searched him over from head to toe with a small wiggle of black button like nose. Barely two-thirds his height, the massive bushy tail matched the others in terms of making up perhaps half the complete mass of the creatures. Her body a deep nutty brown aside from a diamond of pure white that covered from the throat down to just past the navel. Fingertips end in small but notable little black tipped claws as he motioned towards him with them. "You speak words, yes yes?" A heavy accent, clipped words and tone, but understandable as she spoke Common.
"Yes. Your village, are they alright?" Fatigue had it's ugly fingers sank in across his body but it wasn't time to drop just yet.
She considered the question for a moment with a twitch of the ear before humming a higher pitch almost in pre-answer to the response. "Safe always, no. Safe now, yes. You thanks for. Born furless? Deformed?"
Slowly he sank down onto one of the rough cushion like pads settled around the hut's interior. "What? No, I'm not.. whatever you are. I'm a human."
Head tilt from one side to the other. "Hume-man? Yes yes, we know now. Like.. Elf?"
"I guess in a few ways, sure." Sucking in through his teeth as he'd managed to open many of the cuts and gashes in his body from the tomb's exploration. Addressing his medical needs could no longer wait. "I need medicine." His request was simple, but seemingly lost on her by the expression she wore. "A doctor?" Again he was only answered with confusion. "Healer.. person?"
Close enough as fuzzy ears flicked atop her head. "Hm, yes. Can heal. Why not do yourself?"
"Because my healer bag is in the back of a crypt about 2 months north of here, and I don't know the local plants well enough to risk trying to whip something up."
A chirping noise like laughter filled the hut as the female sat up from her lounging spot, showing off a nude form dressed only in bone jewelry. Aside from their bodies completely sheathed in fur, the overtly fluffy tails attached just above the rear ends, and angular, animalistic heads resembling something like the northern tree rodent they truly were almost human; almost.. "Silly Not Elf-man, we mean with your *tekknink*."
It was a word that didn't translate as his face scrunched in confusion this time. "Sorry my..?"
Staring down at him for a moment she placed both hands at hip level, slowly drawing them up across her belly and right in under the bottom swell of breasts. "Power from.. inside? Understand? You make ice." She launched into what could only be described in retelling as interpretive dance and performance, all flourish and exaggerated hand motions with sound effects included.
Ice. He'd made ice. Enek had done something that should have otherwise been impossible as the realization had time to finally settle in. "No that's.. impossible. I can't, we.. humans that is, we can't use magic. I don't know whatever *that* was." Even as the words left his mouth they were with a heavy air of uncertainty.
She strode closer, right up to him, practically dropping herself right into his lap as fingers with little black tipped claws swept aside the denser fur that made up a sort of hair atop her head, putting on display a white paint like body art. She pressed that marked forehead of hers right to his as hands wrapped gingerly around the back of his shoulders and just held him there for a moment. Breathing in slowly, breathing out slowly, the rhythmic sounds an almost hypnotic comfort of peace.
Finally her eyes opened as deep amethyst eyes bore into his own with barely any distance between them as she remained in place. "I feel. Your *tekknink* is strong like wave on high moon night." Even before he could voice further confusion her hands left his shoulder but forehead remained touched to his. Her grip took his own hands and placed one right into her chest. "You feel too, feel life, hear life."
Though the dense coat of pelt that covered her body covered much, it couldn't hide that steady beat of her heart as she raised his other hand and placed it over his own. "Life born from life muscle." She continued. "Breath in, feel life, call life from inside to out."
Resigning with a deep sigh Enek let eyes sink close as he focused on that steady beating of both their hearts. The paces were different, but they matched in that primal way their two people would always share. In to out. Once again that tingle in his chest alight once again, a small flame to be winked out unless it was tended. Each breath in was the bellows to fan it, to let it grow as gradually the sensation filled him at his core. In to out. Magic was a subject beyond humanity despite however many before him had tried, at best they were capable only of utilizing the most basic of magic tools created by others. The flame wavered at the apprehension. What if however, he truly had been able? Why him, why now? The tightness around his neck made itself known all over again. In to out..
The soreness in his muscles gradually loosened as the warmth of that fire grew and grew, bubbling up from the inside until just like before it felt ready to explode. He sharpened his mind, envisioned his body healing and mending itself, restored to perfection as he could only see in his mind's eye. Finally that energy surged outwards, leaving him slowly emptied as it flood outwards.
The strange beastwoman pressed to him gasped out, finally prompting his eyes to open and see... nothing. His body hadn't changed in the least, no cuts mended, no wounds healed. His mouth dropped slightly open as he fought to understand what just went wrong the female sitting across from him giggled as she pulled back. "You full of life anyway, but not in way you need." Her hand brazenly reached down and brushed across an utterly iron stiffness in his crotch as it strained against the material of his slacks.
Red flushed into his cheeks as he sputtered for the right words while she sat up and moved away from him to sit once more in her spot. "But will teach. In time you understand. Yes yes?"
Hundreds of question flood his mind but that familiar sense of fate tugged at the hems of his being as he stared at the bemused face of the squirrel-like beastman. "Yes."

The weeks passed as Enek settled into his new home of sorts, living among the Squiri as they called and knew themselves. He was different, but a welcomed addition rather quickly in the community as the various kin of the village welcomed him. For his part Enek provided a suitable deterrent to the predatory Orc scouts that'd wander by for easy pickings, using imperium warfare knowledge to instruct the Squiri to construct basic defense structures. Weekly raids soon dropped to every other, then to every third, and finally once a month.
As the weeks slowly became months, the season shift into a comfortable summer by the point he was finally producing visible results under tutelage of the village seer as he knew her. Young for her position and people, the burnt orange and white furred Squiri named herself Chai began to proudly introduce herself around as the villages exotic human wrangler and teacher.
Study of "tekknink" or simply magic as he knew it consumed the majority of their time together, though in lulls she'd speak of the village and traditions. Enek found himself investing in their cultures through the vicarious daydreams of hers even as he read the rough Common text scrawled out on crusty parchment that served as her own studies. She'd been eager to learn reading and writing through him, a topic he discovered he was not a great teacher at, but made up for by her over-eagerness as a student.
Summer solstice neared at least according to the villagers anyway, it was hard to tell with his still limited knowledge of the area but the yearly mark indicate an important one in the beastfolk society; The Bonding.
A lazy summer afternoon as Chai resumed her favorited position in lounging about, draped over the top of a flat, wooden bench she'd adorned with various pelts and own fur down. Arm and leg on her right side dangled off the side, her left leg kicked up, left arm crossed over to provide a cushioning for her face to better stare at him. "Why do you wear so many coverings?" Her Common proficiency had been taking considerable strides in improvement much to Enek's delight.
The question however snapped his eye open, eyebrow perked to glance over at her. "This again? I told you last time, we don't have fur like your do. It's how we warm ourselves, or protect from dangers, and maintain our modesty." The tone was a light one, a playful chiding as he gave up the attempt at meditation.
She blew air between her lips in a flapping noise as her hand waved the notion off. "Pfffh. Modesty. Kin only clothe for specific task that need it."
Huffing slightly over at her Enek stood and briefly undressed. Further unbuttoning the already half undone top and tossing the gradually thread baring piece to the side as his Squiri companion hoot and cheered the action on. "Better?" Enek asked with that sun kissed skin now put on display. "And what are your 'clothes' suppose to task you for?" The word was spoken with air quotes as he took a seat once again.
That big bushy tail wiggled and waggled excitedly with a deep in the belly squeal of amusement. Promptly rising from her spot Chai crawled over before dropping down onto his lap as she touched the small bone ornaments and jewelry adorning her otherwise nude form. "Better yes, but I am village seer. I seer.. things?" She scrunched her face slightly at the way it sounded, her Common still imperfect. "You want me undressed?"
"You already are." Enek's chin fit right in between those tall ears atop her head whenever she got so intimately close like this, which only left him blowing the fuzz of that tail from his face as they adjusted for comfort. "Tell me about this holiday of yours, the word you use can mean a fair number of things."
"Bodsvi?" Her head tilt slightly, gently bumping an ear into his cheek.
"Bonding yes, you aren't the only one that's been practicing language."
Collecting her hands together before her the petite Squiri considered it for a moment as she rocked slightly in his lap. "Is.. communion of bonds. Family, mates, friend, community. Living and lost.. Very big with lots of different meaning for different kin." Her fingers came to idly rub over the necklace in particular at that.
"What does it mean for Chai?" Scooping that rebellion tail of hers from his face, Enek tucked it around to her own front as the Squiri clutched onto it but also his hand too.
The silence held between them for a moment as her hands squeezed atop his briefly. "Mama.. mostly. Seer brings much community, but few friends. And fewer mates." Her head craned up to look at him as if in punctuation to that.
Eyebrow perked down at her in response. "That a fact or an invitation?"
"Yes!" She beamed the sweetest of smiles up at him, full of cheek blushing warmth that made it difficult to look directly at her.
Enek could only clear his throat, uncertain where to put his eyes or hand as she clutched him into her bosom. "So a remembrance of the lost, and a fling for the future? I suppose life and death share plenty in common together. I'd like to join in then if it's appropriate? I don't want to intrude if it's a village thing. I can understand losing family being an intimate thing, I don't have any eith-" Chai bolt around, spinning on his lap as both hands squeezed on either side of his cheeks. "Hey-!"
Her deep pools of amethyst bore into him for a moment with the space between them closed so deeply. "You. Are. Family." The statement left no room for debate.
The tight hold on his cheeks lessened but before he could pull completely free she leaned in and gave him a kiss on the lips. It was barely more than a quick peck, lacking the serious heat and fire of passion but it lingered for a moment as they stared into one another's eyes. Enek's breath grew tight as excitement bubbled forth, leaning in for another but meeting her cheek instead as Chai turned her head to looks towards the window of her hut home. "Chai..?"
Questioning tone hung between them for a moment as her tail flicked errantly behind her. Black claw tipped finger gently pressed to his lips instead as her fluffed out face turned back towards his. "You will join for celebration. It will be one to remember." Pulling herself from his lap Chai collect the simple woven basket by the door. "Much preparation now. Stay and practice more until it's time." It was curt but lacking any harshness as gave the simple command, stepping from the home and leaving Enek.
Trying to clear his mind enough for meditation after that would have only been a lesson in futility as Enek flopped down onto his back with a huff, arms cushioned behind his head. One thing was at least for certain from the exchange, the excited racing of her heart was strong enough to be felt even just through that fingertip. Trailing his own up the man touched to his lips for a moment, letting daydreams carry him off instead.

The Festival of Bonds had been a joyous occasion much to the internal image Enek had formed in his head. Holidays of honoring the fallen and family rarely crossed if ever back in the homelands, and events featuring the former were often more than somber events and excuses for drinking. Faces of past comrades filled his head as he joined a simple procession making their way towards a ceremonially decorated and etched stone perched atop a hillside that looked across the village and nearby lake springs. Kro, Prim, Ellie; each had been part of the team at some point, each having met the end of their journey. Taeln maybe as well.
There was no family left to etch in his heart either, and beyond present company his community likely believed him dead too by now. As sobering as his headspace was the Squiri were a tide of good cheer battering down that darkness of the heart with their enthusiasm. It was all smiles among the tribe of beastfolk kin, even when they'd bow heads in reverence of the passed.
Chai herself finally made an appearance at the head of the crowd, standing alongside the ceremonial stone and a few of the older villagers as she conduct a speaking ritual of sorts. His language comprehension was spotty at best, only picking out select phrases here and there as her hands were expressive and animate in the speaking role, rattling the bone jewelry with the motions. Family and lovers through the tribe held hands as she spoke, nuzzling faces together. In the crowd somewhere beside him a hand took his own, then another on the opposite side, Enek simply one of the community in the moment.
The warmth and love he felt from them was a spike, driving in against his walls and armor; busting it open wide for the first time in too long. He'd lost much yes, but in it gained something invaluable as well. Hand squeezed the ones on his sides and simply allowed himself to become one of the gathered mass, one of the community.

Various families made a show of doling out heavy cauldrons worth of fermented brews or the generous feasting portions as food pantry stores were opened on the occasion. The Squiri tribe understood the concept barter and trade according to Chai but there was never any sort of monetary trade conducted at least internally, as the beastkin simply indulged and shared wherever he went.
A quick walk by along the villages outer wall during his wandering confirmed at the very least the festival mood wouldn't interrupted; sharing a knowing nod with the scout on watch at the moment. His path carried him out and towards the nearby glistening lake Chai and he had visit several times prior for both bathing and practice. A high waterfall cascade down into the otherwise pleasantly placid pool below, expanding out and gradually feeding into various small stream deeper in the woods. The ever steady falls a constant, comforting tone for meditation, kicking up enough water to create a rainbow effect when the sun hit it just right.
For however long he sat there at the water's edge, boots off and feet in the cool lake when the crunch of another approaching set grabbed his attention. He'd forgotten his swords back in the hut home as a flash of worry crossed his brow but it was wiped clean as he saw the ceremonially body painted Chai standing instead a few dozen feet away, watching him instead. A wide, happy smile was plastered across her face as he beckoned her closer with a simply wave of his hand, she tip toed before breaking into a quick little sprint to slump into his side; that tail once more energetically whipping back and forth behind her.
"I could only pick out bits but I got the gist, the ceremony go good? All finished?" Arm raised, wrapping around the petite beastgirl, hugging her into his chest as she latched onto that side hugging embrace. Shirtless as he was it allowed him to better fit in with the village at large, those now old corpse crawler cuts little more than faded scars and old scabs left on display for her little clawed fingertips to slowly rake across his bare flesh too.
"Mm, yes.. but also no, important task left to do." Disentangling herself from him at that for a moment she discarded her bangles and necklaces, placing them aside before putting hands on his shoulders. "Bathe with me? The paints can be removed."
Her happy chittering followed after the nod he gave her as the Squiri girl leap from the shoreline and into the lake with a splash. The state of Enek's slacks, and clothes at large, were in serious need of addressing as the threadbare material slid down his legs and bundled next to her own 'clothes'.
It was a regular game of theirs whenever the two came to visit, her dipping, darting nature no less elegant in the water as Enek and Chai played a game of tag that ended with the Squiri girl. Laughing all the while she ended up hugged onto his back, squishing into him as limbs wrapped firmly about his body and finger direct him onwards to swim various places; eventually carrying them into the cozy inner cove around the side of the falls.
A firm pinch of her claws told him not to roll as instead he laid on his chest in the shallows of the inner grotto. "Not that it's unpleasant in here but what's the plan? I'm not your personal be- ow!" Enek began as the sudden sting of her teeth bit down on his shoulder. It wasn't a hurtful bite, a nibble more than anything but the warm breath and drag of her tongue was what really caught his attention as he glanced back to try and get a look at her.
Detaching herself from him, Chai crawled away towards the other side of the pool. The look in her eye was.. hungry. Laid out with her knees still in the water, it dripped down from soft thighs and the curve of her butt as water heavy tail flipped up along her back. Elbows rest on the pools edge where she cast back that look at him in silence.
Only the sounds of the falls and their own heavy breathing echoed through as he followed after, manhood rising as hands went to grab her from behind. Before he could however, once more she dart away with a giggle. Turning to following with a grunt and a protest she collide into him, sending the pair tumbling back to the smooth stone shallows. Seated, Chai mount atop his lap anew, her favorite throne as of these recent weeks as hand held his cheek sweetly. That fire undeniable in her eyes as they stared at one another until the silence finally broke. "We have bonding ritual to finish.. yes?"
"Yes.." His answer simple and to the point as the pair met in the middle for that kiss. There was nothing cutesy or coy about it this time, no adoring affection or playful pecks but instead a proper kiss that had them both melting into one another. The sturdy drum beats of his heart rose up into Enek's chest as it pressed into her own, that shared rush of euphoria turning into a potent cocktail as flirty hands were finally slaking months long heat that had smoldered on.
Despite her firm advancement on him to start, Chai's slim hands trembled as the pair part for a breath. Wondering briefly if it was fear, Enek's worries were proven baseless as they overly-eager Squiri reached down between them and fumbled openly with his manhood. The touch of anothers hands on the body was an almost intoxicating thing as pleasure shot up through him, leaving his throat as a low and pleased moan of approval. As the fog momentarily cleared from the rush of the kiss to the bellowing flame of lust rising in his belly Enek finally understood something he'd never comprehend until that moment; the touch of fur on his bare skin, and the difference between from it.
The Imperium held such discontent towards the various kin and beastfolk races, often painting them as useful savages at best, objects of exotic carnal desire otherwise. Enek's time spent with the Squiri really drove home just how similar their people could be, the aspirations and desires that drove people differing, but the pleasures and happiness like any others he'd known. If not for the more obvious physical traits about her the young kin girl could very well have been the bright-eyed and, pun perhaps intended, bushy-tailed girl next door.
Those differences though, as his hands ran through her water dampen fur across hips and arms, they excite him, drew him in. Even as Chai positioned herself over him, Enek's hands cupped lovingly into those petite breasts, drawing a moan of her out from within. The sound punctuate out longer and with exclamation as she descend down onto him, spearing herself on that rod as it caressed into warm honeypot. "Aeeehhh..." It might have been a word but instead became just noise as her lithe form left no room to hide a notable bump beneath that belly; outlining his manhood within as it sheathed inside her.
Almost impossibly tight the siren's call to let loose whispered it's sweet temptation as husky breath whispered warm breath into the Squiri's ear. "Did you cum just from putting it in?"
The fur might hide any blush but the rising of fluff along semi-damp cheeks and neck were undeniable as Chai bit her lower lip and abashedly nod her head to him.
Enek handled her with a two-fisted grab, easily filling his palms with Chai's perky tits. They couldn't have been larger than A or even a double, but they were perfect, they were hers. Chai's fingers meanwhile sank down on Enek's shoulders with a firm squeeze as she began her ride, splashing the water about gently to start. Leaning in she buried her face against her collarbone while a slow stream of pleasure left her lip. Through it all she managed his name, as sweet as cake and twice as hot leaving the oven. "Enek..!"
Just two lovers indulging in one another, the chorus of wet slaps as bodies met together muffled behind the sounds of the nearby falls. The electric jolt rising through his body with every thunderous crash against his hip sent Enek's fingers and toes clenching tight. Emotions raw and building so full in need he leaned in, sinking his own teeth into her soft, wet fluff as that bite closed in on the nape of Chai's neck.
The hard squeezing down around him from every angle nearly pushed Enek over the edge then and there while the Squiri girl spasmed for a time. Her back arched, chest shoved into his forcing the man's hands to slid down her body, roughly cupping rear cheeks tight. The support held her through the trembling release until Chai had regained her posture to grab onto his face and resume kissing it.
Edged but without a properly release he held her, grinding to prolong her own delight while trying to push his own as Chai pressed her hand in between them over that bulge. There was pleasure there, but also disappointment on her face. "No release? Was I not.. good enough?"
Silencing that uncertain questioning with a kiss his hands came up and held her on the cheeks in return just as she held his. "That's not it, you're.. perfect. I just need a little more is all."
His words were the elixir she needed as tail excitedly flicked about while she slowly slid off his polished cock. "Then please.. like this..?" Laying on the comfortably flat rocky surface outside the water in the grotto, Chai spread out on her back using that bulk of a tail for bedding. Legs open and spread invitingly, arms doubly so to welcome him into that embrace as he crawled after her.
The paired worked in tandem to line him up once more, slowly thrusting in as Chai's head rolled back, mouth open in that cry of arousal. This time however as he took initiative, rocking hips in and out, driving them into her own, hands sought out one another, locking firmly in a grasping hold to one another. Her legs quickly followed, wrapping around him and drawing in Enek hard. Every pull back was met by a pull forward to put him right back inside, driving both Man and Squiri hard towards a shared union as a grunting moan from him and a reply nod from her was all either needed to know. Instinct had fully taken over, directing the symphony of flesh and fur before Enek slammed forward with arching back.
Chai's legs held him tight, squeezed firmly around his waist to ensure she got it all out from him. That relative difference in their sizes caused his thick bulge inside her to suddenly thicken deeper and loose definition as Chai sport a look as if she'd just feasted heavily that eve.
The world continued on outside those falls, nature in all it's glory chirped, croaked, grunt, or growled; completely indifferent to the carnal union going on.
Man and beastfolk lay side by side, catching their respective breaths, hand still clutched together as they lay with the evidence of their deed slowly leaking between Chai's thighs.
"Now.. bonding ritual complete.." She rolled, tucking herself into his side, laying head on his chest while Enek's hand closed around her body.

The soft, forest green glow filled the cabin with a comfortable light and warmth to match as Enek sat in a crossed leg meditation, closing a small wound on his arm. Flesh knit and gradually closed before their eyes, leaving nothing but a pale pink outline and lingering soreness.
Chai looked pleased, Enek did as well. The flash in the Squiri's eyes belied something more however as the man redressed.
"You are.. graduated now, yes?" His nod urged her on to continue the thought. "You came to me, body hurt and lost. We have now healed the outside wounds, but not the inside one.."
Confusion knit Enek's brow together as he looked over at her. "I don't understand, what does that mean?"
Gathering her courage as she crossed the distance between them, hands took his own and held them between one another. "At night, you toss and turn, you speak words of ache to your dreams. Your heart is troubled. We cannot be the ones to heal it.." Ears, tail, face all drooped down as she spoke.
"But I don't feel anything wrong.. not anymore. The memories aren't gone but.." But the thought still hung in the air as Enek himself realized it perhaps for the first time. The Squiri's problems, tribal life among them and the day to day had been a distraction most convenient. His time among the Squiri tribe had been a pleasant experience, one he'd be able to carry with him for the rest of his days, but it couldn't be his final destination. "..but I don't want to leave.."
She sniffled, hands covering her face as she shook her head to him. "I know, but I dream, I saw, your path is north. I am a seer still after all." Swallowing hard she tried to put on a strong face for him, or maybe for herself. "And as seer.. I banish you from the village now!" Playfully she point her finger accusatorially at him. Despite the words her hands had held him only tighter, afraid to let go.
Gently they met once more, forehead to forehead. The words hurt but he knew she only spoke the truth that neither of them wanted to hear. "Will we ever see one another again? Does your vision show that?"
Chai touched his face, directing him into a kiss before nuzzling into him. "So long as we will it, fate cannot deny."

The village had been bracing for this moment, perhaps expecting it at Chai's insistence as the community of beastfolk, the Squiri amassed at the gates facing into the northern forests to see their human guest out. The finest Blant stomach lining water skin, a freshly woven Buloofoo wool cloak that could double for a blanket, a spacious Ratchor leather pack to sling across the shoulders, even his old armor and swords refurbished by the tribal hunters with a flair unique all their own so all who saw them might know to whom he called ally, community, and family.
A teary, but also smile filled send off as the beastfolk people filled his heart with the courage needed for the path ahead. The calls and cries out for him at his back as Enek steadied his pack, putting the lively village on the edge of the great forest behind him.
