Why we fake it (A poem)

I wish my online life was real, where no one tries to force you to think and feel the they way do.

But online friendships are fake, every media we see, every media we make. It's all fake.

All the torment we all represent, going against our god or government. We are too afraid to make that decent, because those changes are permanent.

Unlike moths, we drift towards the positivity. This timeless kind of attraction, cruising for reactions, lit up like fireflies among the unforgiving night.

Why we fake it, in the high school halls, in shopping malls, be positive or be an outcast.

Why we fake it, in the local bars, attached to the backs of cars, be positive or be an outcast

Any mistake will help disapproval for the removal from the attractive groups that truly inspire you.

Get too close and find divine punishment, your repairs will be hard, bring your problems to the yard.

Maybe someone far away might bring some mercy to you.

It's time to gather your things, gather your resources, put on a brave face, oppose all the real forces.

Learn all the things, study all the surreal courses, start from scratch, abandon the past.

This time around you will make it last.
