Part 5
Love
A few months went by, and it was a week before Thanksgiving. Leaves had changed colors and many have fallen from the trees. Leo laid on his bed wearing his gray Areopostale zipper hoodie, with a white T-shirt, jeans pulled below his waist showing an inch of his black boxer briefs and black 'no show' socks. He was watching TV with his right arm was folded under his head and the remote in his left paw. It had been raining for an hour outside as the Husky checked his cell phone, it was four sixteen in the afternoon. His brothers and his boyfriend, Skyler were off at football practice. Practice ended over fifteen minutes ago and they would all be back soon.
Skyler and Leo had been dating for three months. They were happy together and the only people that knew about them were Steffan and Neo. They enjoyed their little secret, sneaking around to spend time with each other Just being with Skyler put a smile on his face.
Leo's ears perked up at the sound of the large front door slamming shut. He heard foot steps going up the stairs and down the hall. Then Neo stood in the doorway to Leo's room. Mud was covering his face and his fur was matted down due to the rain and sweat.
"Hey, Neo." Leo looked over at his brother.
"Leo. Your boyfriend hits pretty hard." Neo told his little brother as he rubbed his shoulder. "He almost dislocated my shoulder today." Leo smiled and then blushed, then his brother continued. "You really like him don't you."
"Yeah." Leo sat up on his bed. "I don't know how to describe it, but whenever I'm with him my stomach flutters, my paws sweat, my heart races... I never want to be without him." Leo smiled. "I can't stop thinking about him." Neo started to laugh and Leo's ears flattened and his head lowered. "What's so funny about that."
"It's not a bad thing, bro. I'm laughing because..." He couldn't find the right words. "You're in love, with him."
Leo's ears raised and his left eyebrow arched. "Love?"
"Yes, love. You love Skyler. Everything that you just said is what you feel when you're in love with someone." Neo rubbed his paw through his fur. "I need to go get a shower." Neo walked off and Leo flopped back down on his bed.
"Love." Leo thought. "Now that I think of it. I do love him. But does he feel the same? Does he love me too?"
Skyler walked into his house, dripping wet from the rain, covered in mud head to toe. He set his bag down and took off his shoes.
"I'm home!" Skyler yelled.
Then Skyler's father, James, came walking down the stairs wearing a suit. He was a powerful man, had a bit of a temper and put a lot of faith into Skyler.
"I'm off to court for your waste of a life, brother." His father said.
Skyler's older brother, Max wasn't a good role model. He dropped out of high school, he drinks and smokes weed all the time. He's had trouble with the law recently. He had been pulled over for drunk driving, and had been caught smoking weed twice and caught for possessing weed three times. This was his third time going to court, and this time he was going to do some time in jail.
James walked over to Skyler and patted his shoulder. "I'm glad your a good son."
Skyler gave a nervous smile. "Thanks, dad."
James walked over to the coat closet to grab his coat. "You're little brother is at his friends for the night, and I'm guessing you're going over to Leo's tonight. So lock up when you leave."
"Will do."
James walked out of the house and Skyler walked upstairs to go and take a shower. He walked into the bathroom and turned on the water. He took his shirt off and looked at himself in the mirror. He rubbed his pecs and then rubbed his six pack His muscles were getting more and more sore from football. He took off the rest of his clothes, but left his necklace on and stepped into the shower. The mud started to run down his body and down the drain. He grabbed the body wash and put some soap in his paw and started to rub the mud out of his fur.
Skyler started to think about how his father would react if he told him he was gay. Like the other day, he was talking to him about the possible repeal of don't ask don't tell. His exact words were, 'I don't want those cock sucking fuckers in this country, let alone fighting for it.' Skyler's father was the world's biggest homophobe, which would make telling him so much harder.
Skyler took another handful of body wash and started to wash his torso. He let out a sigh and shook the thought of what would happen to him. Instead he started to think about Leo. Just thinking about his name made him blush. All he thinks about is Leo and how he wants to be with him. When ever he's with him his heart flutters and he just feels... different. He loves Leo, he never wants to leave his side.
Skyler finished up the rest of his shower and jumped out and grabbed a towel. He had to tell Leo, how he felt. Skyler was mostly dry, so he rushed and put on a pair of silk gym shorts and a white T-shirt. He ran down the hall and outside. He was rushing so quickly that he forgot to put boxers on and forgot to grab shoes, too.
Leo laid on his bed watching TV when his brother Neo walked in fresh from his shower, he was wearing lounge pants and no shirt.
"Are you going to tell Skyler when he comes over?" Neo asked.
"Tell him what?" Leo looked up at Neo.
"That you love him."
"I would, but... I don't know if he loves me." They hear the doorbell ring echo throughout the house.
"You never know until you try." Neo said as he walked out of the room to answer the door.
Neo walked down the hallway and down the stairs. He sees Skyler in the doorway, standing in the rain. He opens the door and Skyler walks in.
"Hey, Neo. Where's Leo?" Skyler asked.
"He's in his room." Neo told the excited Lion.
Skyler ran upstairs and down the hall. He walked into Leo's room and both their eyes lit up as they looked at each other
"Hey, Skyler." Leo said to his boyfriend.
"I have to tell you something." Skyler said to him as he walked over and sat down on the edge of the bed.
"What is it, sweetie." Leo sat up and nuzzled Skyler's cheek.
"This is hard for me." Skyler lowered his head and then looked at Leo. "I... I... love you."
Leo's eyes began to sparkle. "Aw, Skyler, I love you, too." They looked deep into each others sparkling eyes and they kissed. When they parted Leo looked into Skyler's eyes, and he notices Neo standing in the doorway.
"God, you two are cute. I'll tell you that much." Neo said and then shut Leo's door.
Leo looked down for a second and noticed a bulge in Skyler's pants. "Someone's excited."
Skyler looked down and noticed his erect member. He moved his shorts to help situate himself and then he looked at Leo. "That's a little embarrassing."
"I think it's cute." Leo said as he kissed Skyler again. "Like you."They kissed again and Leo started to lay down on his back and Skyler laid on top of him. As they kissed, Leo ran his paw through Skyler's wet mane.
They kissed for a few minutes and then Skyler stopped and he looked down at Leo. "You are perfect."
"Not as perfect as you." Leo kissed Skyler. While they kissed he reached around and grabbed the Lion's perfect, muscular rear. He pulled Skyler towards him and he felt his dick press up against his. He let out a low moan and continued to search his boyfriend's mouth.
They broke the kiss and Leo said, "Nothing could ruin this relationship."
"You got that right." Skyler replied and then kissed Leo again.
