Lucky Seven
Here’s a silly random story that features Tracy poking a little good-natured fun at one of his favorite Bear’s quirky habits. This idea rolled around in my head for about two weeks before I surrendered and wrote it.
This story is from Roy: Between Marco and Tracy

A bright sign is seen:
“Stand close, the next guy may be barefooted.”_
Tracy shut off the water, shook the excess from his fur, wrung out his tail, and pulled back the shower curtain. As the coyote reached for his towel, Roy walked into the bathroom dressed only in his boxers.
The big male stepped up to the toilet and lifted the seat. “Ahhhh…” he sighed as he began to relieve himself.
Tracy finished drying his face and was toweling off his his chest when he asked, “Why do you always lift your right heel off the floor when you pee?”
Roy stopped urinating. He pressed the footpaw in question flat to the floor and looked back over his shoulder at his mate. “I don’t,” he said.
“Yes, you do,” insisted Tracy. “You’re only standing flat-footed now because I pointed it out to you.”
“Do I?” asked the bear. “I’ve never even thought about it. Why? Does it bother you?”
“No,” Tracy chuckled. “It’s nothing like that. It’s just this weird thing you do and I wondered if you might have a reason. Superstition or an old Army tradition or something.”
“No. No special reason,” said Roy with an embarrassed tone. He turned away from his coyote and looked down over his rounded belly. He stood motionless. The only sound in the couple’s bathroom was the rustling of the towel as Tracy fluffed the fur of his armpits.
Roy focused his attention on his unfinished task. The bear’s right heel began to rise off the tile of the bathroom floor. He deliberately pressed it back down with a huff. Roy closed his eyes and concentrated. Nothing.
“Damn!”
“What’s the matter, Big Bear?”
“Now I can’t go.”
“Aww, I’m sorry Roy.” By now Tracy had worked his way down, past his crotch and was drying off his legs.
Roy groaned, “I’m never going to be able to piss again without thinking of my foot.”
“It’s really no big deal,” Tracy chuckled. “Look, if it helps, I always piss with my heel off the floor.”
Roy turned his head to stare at the canine’s heels-raised digitigrade feet. His gaze traveled slowly up to Tracy’s face. The coyote looked back at him with an absurd, wide-eyed expression that lasted only a moment before he burst out laughing. The sound of Tracy’s mirth was quickly augmented by the splashing of ursine urine.
The bear looked down in front of himself and adjusted his aim. “Yeah, I guess that helps,” he said.
“Do you need me to come over there and hold it for you?” Tracy offered.
“No,” Roy insisted, “I think you’ve done plenty for me already, thank you.”
“I’m here for you, Big Bear,” said Tracy as he buffed his back dry. “Just so you know.”
“I appreciate that.” Roy’s flow came to a stop and he flicked the final drops from the end of his penis. “You’re a real pal,” said the bear with a playful helping of sarcasm.
“Hey, Roy?”
Roy looked over his shoulder again. A slightly damp, unkempt, and totally naked coyote returned the look with a mischievous twinkle in his eye. “Yeah?” asked the bear suspiciously.
“Why do you always shake it exactly five times when you’re done?” Tracy asked with a grin.
Roy looked back down over his abdomen. *flick-flick* “Seven!” he declared triumphantly as he tucked his maleness back into his boxers.
