In this version, there is no magic collar, and Jason's sister gets involved. This is the stupid long version, over 40K words of endless drama.
Claimed (Found Chapter 2, Wendy vers.)
Jason watched Ellie’s fuzzy white scut disappear into the hole. He stared at the hole for a few more seconds before turning for home. This past day had been so surreal. He could hardly believe he’d met the little doe who had saved him again, and when she’d first appeared with Oliver, he’d thought he was imagining things. And now we’re dating. Jason wasn’t sure how serious the rabbit had been. He’d been the one to suggest they live together first; it had been a foolish suggestion, a naive fantasy from his childhood. But then she had offered to let him live with her instead. Jason might have cynically supposed that the rabbit merely wanted a bodyguard, and her offer had certainly come with a lot of conditions. What would it be like to live as a prey? Did he really want to give up the relatively comfortable life he had? “You might just be living under a bunny’s paw for good,” Ellie’s teasing voice came back to him. The image of the doe gazing down with a smug grin while she stood with one foot on his face solidified in his imagination, and Jason blushed, his ears getting hot as his tail flipped agitatedly. He wished he were at home where he could relieve the rising urges inside him in privacy.
Why did he want to be the rabbit’s toy?! She had saved him; he’d remembered her fondly. When they’d met again, he’d felt protective toward her. But as soon as she’d realized who he was, that he wasn’t going to eat her, she’d become so forward with him! So assertive, aggressive even, as if she believed he already belonged to her. He had felt more like the prey. Yet he could simply say no and continue on with his life, meet up with her as a friend when he could, do his best to repay the kindness she’d shown him. He didn’t have to become “her kitty”. He didn’t have to navigate the degree to which that possessive pronoun denoted partnership versus ownership. Yet he longed to; the desire was almost suffocating. He desperately wanted the rabbit to take the reins of his life and determine how it would proceed henceforth.
But why did he want that? He had his friends, his career, his family. Sure, he didn’t have kits of his own or even a partner, but it wasn’t like he could have kits with a rabbit. Did he really want to give those things up to live the acetic life of a prey just so he could fulfill this newfound desire to be dominated by a doe? I don’t have to make a decision now. I can see what it’s like visiting Ellie, and if it’s not what I want we can just be friends. Or was even that too dangerous? How had the rabbit suspected this desire inside him? Had she? She certainly knew now; he’d admitted as much. Would she use those desires to draw him into her clutches, to make him her feline slave?
Jason shook away the paranoid thoughts. If he knew anything about Ellie, he knew she was kind. If she hadn’t simply been teasing him and had truly suspected his desires, then she would only use them to their mutual enjoyment, surely. They could explore where the boundaries were, but she wouldn’t do anything to hurt him. She was a good person who risked her life for others. If he could trust his life in anyone’s hands, then certainly he could trust it in Ellie’s.
This realization gave him a feeling of relief. He wasn’t crazy to want to give the rabbit the reins of his life because he knew she would guide him safely. He didn’t need to fear being drawn into her clutches because that would be a place of warmth and refuge, of acceptance and maybe even of love. He loved his friends and family too, but they still thought he was a fanatic because of his beliefs about prey. Ellie didn’t think that; she was prey. She would help him realize his values more fully than he’d been able to on his own. The life of a prey might not be one of luxury, but as a prey, he could develop a greater respect for all types of people, not only carnivores. As he made his way through the predator village to his house, Jason was filled not only with desire but hope for his future.
* * *
Jason worked as a farmhand for the local vulpine count, growing the vegetables and fruits that carnivores also enjoyed. It was grueling work, and few predators were willing to do it. But Jason needed the cash to buy the seafood he ate instead of prey. There were so few predators willing to work the gardens in fact that certain days were reserved for work by prey. Jason never got to meet these prey workers because their shifts were carefully separated, and the count’s guards escorted the prey to and from the fields as part of their agreement with the count. Still, it gave Jason a sense of connection to prey that he appreciated. During the summer, most work was done early in the morning and latter in the evening. Jason had the evening shift today, so it was dark when he stepped into his house. He flipped on the light as he entered the kitchen and was surprised to find his brother waiting seated at the table.
“Uh, hi Dexter,” Jason greeted awkwardly. “Do you need something? I hope you didn’t wait long.”
“Oliver told us an interesting story yesterday evening,” Dexter replied ominously. “He said he spent the night with your rabbit. We of course assumed he meant she had stayed at our house, but he insisted it was at hers. Care to fill me in?”
“I, um, I’m sorry, Dexter. I should have told you sooner, but I was anxious to get Ellie home,” Jason answered ashamedly. “I got there late and didn’t realize the kits didn’t know where you had gone. By the time I woke up, Oliver was missing. E-Ellie brought him home though, so everything worked out, didn’t it?”
“Except that you let my son disappear, and a rabbit had to bring him home!” Dexter shouted. “He could have been killed! And now he won’t stop talking about how friendly this rabbit is! We’re predators, Jason! We eat prey. They aren’t our friends!”
“I-I know that’s how you feel,” Jason returned uncomfortably. “But can’t you see that, that Ellie didn’t have to do that, and she still did. She took a huge risk to bring Oliver home because she’s a good person.”
Dexter’s eyes narrowed dangerously, “You didn’t arrange this whole thing, did you? To show us how ‘wonderful’ prey are?
“O-of course not! I wouldn’t put Oliver at risk like that!”
“I want to believe you wouldn’t. You’re my brother, Jason. What happened to that rabbit in the end?”
“I took her home this morning.”
“This morning? You mean she spent the night here?” Dexter asked suspiciously.
“Sh-she slept on the couch! I didn’t want to take her home in bad weather; that’s all.”
“Then I don’t suppose we’ll be seeing her again,” Dexter concluded.
“Er, right. I suppose not,” Jason replied embarrassedly.
Dexter frowned, “Except?”
“Except what?” Jason asked nervously.
“Except you are going to see her again, aren’t you?” Dexter pressed. “You know you suck at lying, Jason.”
“I, um, we might meet up. I just want to make sure she’s okay,” Jason mumbled.
“When?” Dexter snapped.
“T-tomorrow,” Jason admitted anxiously. “We’re going to have lunch.”
Dexter gave him an incredulous look, “If you were any other predator, I’d assume that was innuendo, but with you, I suspect it’s genuine. You’re going to sit an eat with prey? Do you realize how ridiculous that is? What are you even going to eat?!”
“Sh-she has some bugs I’m going to try,” Jason murmured.
Dexter stared at him in disbelief, “What is the point of this, Jason? Are you trying to impress a rabbit?”
“I want us to be friends. I, um, I didn’t tell you this, but she’s the same rabbit who saved me when I was a kitten.”
Dexter’s eyes narrowed again, “How long have you been seeing this rabbit?”
“Just since yesterday! It was a pure coincidence she was the one who brought Oliver home. I wasn’t even sure she was still alive!”
Dexter sighed wearily, “Alright, Jason, but I think you should forget this lunch nonsense. Nothing good can come of it. Predators and prey aren’t meant to be friends.”
Jason looked away, “You know I don’t believe that,” he murmured.
Dexter sighed again, “I know.” He got up, “See you around, Jason.” He left.
Jason listened to the door close as Dexter exited the house. He wished his brother could understand. How could he ever tell him how he really felt about Ellie?
Jason had a fish filet for dinner and went to bed. Despite Dexter’s words, he was still anxiously looking forward to his lunch with Ellie. As he groomed himself, he remembered her teasing glances and words, and he remembered his imagined image of her standing on his face. Jason spent a little extra time with his left leg above his head before he brushed his teeth.
* * *
The next morning, Jason had breakfast and then ran to pick up some radishes to take to Ellie. He returned home to wait until it was time to leave but spent his time pacing the living room anxiously. Would she really be waiting for him? He almost leapt out of his fur when there was a knock at the door. He hurried to the door and peaked out the peep hole: Fitzie was standing on the front step. Jason opened the door to greet the ferret.
“Hey Jason,” the ferret chirped cheerfully.
“Hi Fitzie,” Jason meowed.
“So, how did it go with your bunny friend yesterday?” the hob inquired suggestively.
“F-fine, um, I got her home safely,” Jason replied embarrassedly.
“Going to see her again anytime soon?” Fitzie teased.
“Um, actually, we’re having lunch at her place today. I have to head over soon,” Jason admitted.
The ferret grinned knowingly, “Oh? So you do like her then.”
Jason hesitated but then nodded; he could trust Fitzie to at least try to be open-minded. “We might actually be dating or something like that,” he meowed embarrassedly.
“Already? I guess she likes you too then, huh?”
Jason nodded, “I think so. She, um, she said that if things worked out I could live with her as a prey.”
Fitzie frowned, “What does that mean? Wouldn’t it be better if she moved here?”
“She wouldn’t really be safe here. Even if we were together, there are people who would only see her as food. She wouldn’t be able to go outside.”
“Isn’t that still better than living in a hole?”
“Their houses aren’t just holes. They’re furnished like ours, just underground. And we’d go outside together; I’d be there to protect her.”
“You could protect her here,” Fitzie argued.
“Maybe I could, but she wouldn’t be happy here. Everyone would look at her like prey.”
“What about you, Jason? What kind of life would it be for you ‘living as a prey?’ Would I ever see you again?”
“You could visit. I know I can trust you, Fitzie. But I think I might like living as a prey. It wouldn’t be so different from now as long as bugs aren’t gross.”
Fitzie shook his head, “It would be a completely different life. Even if she’d be comfortable letting me visit, what about the rest of your friends and family? You’d have to leave all that behind, Jason. Predators and prey, we live in different worlds. If you decided to live as prey, you wouldn’t be part of our lives anymore.”
“I know that, Fitzie,” Jason replied uncomfortably. “And, and I’m not rushing into this. I just wanted to let you know where it might lead. But it, it might be a good thing for me. Ellie would help me to, um, to live by my beliefs.”
Fitzie gave him a concerned look, “I know a lot of predators don’t accept you for how you view prey, but do you really think the prey will accept you? You’ll still be a cat to them.”
“Ellie will accept me,” Jason returned with conviction.
“As long as you become a prey for her, you mean,” Fitzie rejoined. “She won’t accept you as the predator you are, only as the prey she wants you to be.”
“She only wants me to not hurt prey,” Jason countered. “If hurting prey is all there is to being a predator, then I don’t want to accept myself as a predator either!”
Fitzie looked at him sadly, “I’ll just miss you, Jason. You’re my best friend.”
“I’ll miss you too, Fitzie,” Jason said wistfully. “I’ll try to keep in touch, I promise. I won’t be that far away, distance-wise.”
“It’s another world,” Fitzie repeated softly. “I want you to be happy, Jason. I really do, but.” He stepped forward and gave Jason a hug. After a moment, Jason hugged the ferret back. The ferret looked up at him sadly, “I just don’t want you to leave us like this.”
Jason gave him an awkward little smile that he hoped was reassuring, “I’m not leaving right away. I’m just going to have lunch. Who knows if a cat and rabbit can really be together? I’m just going to see how it works.”
Fitzie pressed his cheek to Jason’s chest, “Just don’t forget about us, Jason. Don’t forget the people here who care about you.”
Jason touched his nose to the ferret’s head, “I won’t,” he breathed.
* * *
Jason arrived outside Ellie’s burrow ten minutes before noon. This, of course, resulted in him waiting anxiously with his bundle of radishes tightly gripped in one hand for several minutes before Ellie’s white and dark brown head poked out of the hole cautiously.
“You came!” she piped happily before slipping out of the hole. She eyed the radishes with a grin, “And you brought me my favorite! That was thoughtful.”
Jason blushed, “I, um, since you’re going to feed me lunch,” he murmured embarrassedly.
Ellie accepted the radishes with a teasing smile, “As long as you’re not trying to fatten me up. I’ll show you the back entrance!”
The doe bounded off into the underbrush, and Jason followed her. Soon, they came to a slightly larger hole.
“You should be able to squeeze in through here,” Ellie stated.
Jason eyed the hole uncertainly, “I, um, it’s a little narrow.”
“It gets wider as you go. Don’t worry, you won’t get stuck, and if you do, I’ll dig you out. Follow me!”
Ellie easily slipped into the hole, but Jason hesitated a moment. What if he did get stuck? Could the rabbit be trying to trick him? He shook his head: he could trust Ellie. He just hoped it wouldn’t be too tight a fit. Jason squeezed into the hole with only minor difficulty, and as Ellie had said, it widened as he went. After a few meters, he found Ellie standing in a tunnel lit by a string of LEDs. He slid out of the narrow section and was able to stand as well; although, he had to stoop a bit.
“See? You didn’t get stuck!” Ellie piped cheerfully. “Come on, my house is this way!”
Ellie led him through the tunnel, which split off several times, until they reached a heavy metal door. Ellie unlocked it and led him into what appeared to be her cellar, which held jars of preserved vegetables and fragrant bales of hay. A metal ladder ascended to a trap door in the ceiling.
“The front entryway is more inviting,” Ellie commented nonchalantly. “Do you remember the way back out?”
Jason shook his head embarrassedly.
“No? You could be lost down here for a long time if you don’t. I guess you’ll just have to stay with me then.”
“H-huh?!”
Ellie giggled, “Heeheehee, I’m joking! I’ll show you the way out, my trusting kitty, but if you eat me, you’ll be lost for good.”
“I-I’m not going to eat you!” Jason protested.
“I know, but just so you know,” she returned lightly. She climbed up the ladder with the bundle of radishes in her teeth.
Jason followed her, and they climbed out of the trap door into what seemed to be Ellie’s bedroom. Although, only a faint light from a room down the hall illuminated anything on this floor. Ellie led him up a flight of stairs to her living room and into the combined kitchen and dining room, which, fortunately, were brightly lit.
“Have a seat! I haven’t fixed your bugs yet in case you didn’t make it,” Ellie said.
Jason sat at the table, feeling awkward and wondering whether it had been stupid to come here. Maybe Dexter and Fitzie were right: he was a predator, whether he ate prey or not, and he didn’t belong in a prey’s home. His naive fantasy of living with Ellie might be simply that. He watched the rabbit fixing their respective lunches, and as much as he wanted it to feel normal, it felt bizarre.
“What kind of spices do you like?” Ellie inquired. “Is there something that sounds good on bugs?”
“I, uh, don’t know,” Jason answered. He didn’t know what the bugs would taste like, so how could he know what would be good on them?
“I’ll try salt and pepper, and you can decide if they need something else once you taste them,” Ellie decided.
Jason nodded. He almost hoped the bugs were revolting since that would make his decision for him.
“Dig in!” Ellie piped a few minutes later as she set a plate of bugs in front of him. She sat down across from him and took a big bite of salad with sliced radish, munching happily.
Jason eyed the bug carcasses, feeling much less enthusiastic about his lunch. Whatever it tasted like, it certainly looked revolting. He scooped some bugs up on his fork and shut his eyes as he transferred them to his mouth. They crunched in a disturbing way as he chewed, but the taste wasn’t unpleasant. Perhaps it could have used some cumin and hot pepper. He swallowed.
“Well?” Ellie queried curiously. “You know, you looked a lot like Oliver when he tried them the first time.”
Jason was a little embarrassed to think he’d looked like the kitten, but he answered as cheerfully as he could, “They, uh, aren’t bad! They might take a little getting used to, but they taste alright.”
Ellie beamed across the table at him, “Great! I’m sure it’s different from what you usually eat, but I hope you’ll start to enjoy them. I’d feel a little bad if you didn’t enjoy your food.” She gave him a teasing wink, “But only a little since I know what you might be eating instead.”
“I-I really usually eat fish,” Jason replied awkwardly.
“If I only ate cats once a month, would that make you fell better about it?” Ellie rejoined.
“I, uh, I guess not,” Jason murmured.
They finished their meal, and Ellie put their dishes in the sink. “So, now what do you want to do?” she asked cheerfully. “We could play cards or,” she eyed him slyly. “You could massage my feet again.”
Jason felt a flutter in his chest, and he nodded, embarrassed yet excited, his uncertainty swept away at the rabbit’s seductive request.
Ellie grinned, “I can see what you’ve really been waiting for,” she teased. “Come on.”
Ellie led him out to the living room and reclined on the couch, leaning against a throw pillow at one end. Jason sat by her feet and lifted them into his lap. With only a glance at Ellie to confirm he should proceed, he began to press and rub her long, thick-furred feet. Ellie sighed contentedly. Jason worked diligently at the intimate task, his heart pounding with excitement as he pampered the rabbit’s feet. They were merely feet, but it felt so right to serve her in this way!
“Why don’t you give them some kisses and nuzzles too?” Ellie suggested playfully.
Jason glanced at her embarrassedly and then looked back to her feet in his lap. His heart racing, he picked up one of her feet and kissed it just below her toes. He rubbed his nose through the thick fur on the bottom of her foot and kissed it again. He kissed and nuzzled his way from her heel to her toes, filled with utter bliss.
“Good kitty. Now the other one.”
Jason set the first foot back in his lap and showed the same tender devotion to Ellie’s other foot.
Ellie sighed with pleasure. “Keep massaging them, kitty, and give them kisses and nuzzles every so often. I’ll tell you when you can stop. Don’t you dare stop until I tell you to.”
Jason didn’t need to be told twice! He worshiped Ellie and her beautiful feet until it must have been mid afternoon. It was impossible to tell in the burrow, but he knew it had been hours. His fingers ached.
“Now, lick them clean with your tongue,” Ellie ordered softly.
Her voice was tender, but Jason knew she expected obedience. He stroked his rough tongue up the bottom of her furry foot. Jason meticulously cleaned Ellie’s foot with his tongue, even lapping the dirt from her claws and pushing his tongue between her toes. Ellie let out soft moans and sighs of pleasure as he worked, and when he glanced at her, she gazed back with an amorous expression. He knew she loved this as much as he did, to be pampered and worshiped by a predator, to be obeyed no matter how degrading her command, and it filled him with euphoria! At last, Ellie’s feet were clean, and he looked to her for her next command.
Ellie curled a finger, gesturing for him to approach, “Come here, kitty.”
Jason crawled up the couch, straddling her legs, until he was almost nose-to-nose with the doe. She took his face in her hands and massaged his cheeks while her brown eyes gazed into his softly.
“Such a good kitty,” she breathed. “You want to be my kitty, don’t you, Jason? You want to belong to me. You won’t mind eating bugs if you get to be mine, will you?”
“I-I won’t mind. I want to be yours,” Jason mewed. His heart was racing once again. Could he really promise himself to the rabbit? What would people think? Who cares?! “I-I’ll be your kitty. I’ll do anything you say, Ellie,” he averred.
Jason was sure Ellie would have purred if she’d been a cat. “Then there’s one thing I want you to do for me. I know it will take some time for you to get everything in order so that you can live with me, but before you visit the next time, I want you to get yourself a collar and a padlock I can lock it with. Can you do that for me, Jason?”
Jason nodded, butterflies in his chest. A collar: he really would be her kitty. There was no equivocation in Ellie’s offer, no innuendo. He would willingly give himself to her as her obedient kitty pet, or he would think better of the arrangement. But if he agreed, there would be no wiggle room to what he’d agreed to.
Ellie reached her head forward and touched her nose to his. “I’ll take good care of you, kitty. Thank you for coming to visit me. Now, I’m still making up those extra shifts for Doris, so I’ll show you the way out.”
“I could come with you and help you make them up!” Jason offered. “I work for the count; I know lots about farming.”
Ellie smiled softly, “Once you’re mine you can come help. We’ll need a way to buy your bugs anyway.”
Ellie led Jason back through the tunnel and outside, and they went their separate ways with warm goodbyes and promises to see each other again tomorrow. As Jason headed back toward the predator village, his hours with the rabbit hardly felt real, yet the first thing he did when he got to town was grab some money and go to buy himself a collar as Ellie had ordered. Some wealthy predators kept prey as pets, so it wasn’t particularly hard to find a lockable collar and a lock to fit it. The fact that he was purchasing what was essentially a slave collar for himself wasn’t lost on him. He tucked it under his arm and hurried home to ferret it away before his evening shift in the count’s fields. He ate some canned tuna and headed to work. Whilst Jason picked peppers, his mind wandered back to that afternoon. He couldn’t wait to see Ellie again tomorrow!
* * *
Jason slept in the next morning, picked up some bell peppers for Ellie, and hurried to her burrow to be on time for lunch. He was startled when he heard someone approaching from behind and whipped around only find with relief that it was Ellie.
“Oh! You brought me peppers!” Ellie piped cheerfully. Her eyes narrowed slyly, “Did you bring me the other things I asked for?”
Jason nodded and embarrassedly lifted the collar out of his bag.
Ellie eyed it with a grin. “Come on, kitty.”
Ellie led him back through the tunnels to her house. When they were up in the kitchen once again, she accepted the peppers and then held out her hand for the collar and lock. Jason handed them to her and obediently crouched down to allow her to put them on him. Ellie let out a little happy sigh as she wrapped the collar around his neck. He felt her tighten it snugly and heard the padlock click. His breath caught in his throat at the finality of that sound.
“I’ll need the key as well,” Ellie stated.
Jason grabbed the key from the bag and dropped it into her palm. Ellie glanced down at the little brass key and then looked back at him with a smirk.
“All of the keys,” she ordered firmly but with a hint of amusement.
Jason swallowed and dropped the other two spare keys that had come with the lock into Ellie’s hand. She closed her fist over them.
“Good kitty,” she said with satisfaction. “I’ll just put these away. Wait here.”
Jason obeyed, realizing that chasing after her to retrieve one of the keys before she hid them might be his last chance of getting this thing off of his neck, short of cutting it off of course.
When Ellie returned, she gave him a pleased smile. “I have something else for you, kitty. Crouch back down.”
Jason obeyed, and Ellie clipped something to his collar. As he stood again, the bell jingled.
“I know you can take it off, but I’d like you to leave it on,” Ellie instructed. “That way, I know you won’t hunt any prey, and everyone will know you’re a good kitty who doesn’t sneak up on anyone.”
Jason nodded, jingling the bell, and his ears and cheeks warmed as he blushed.
Ellie giggled. “You can still change your mind about all of this. I might even take your collar off for you if you do,” she teased.
They prepared lunch. Jason helped with the bugs, selecting spices he thought might taste good. It felt more natural helping to prepare his food rather than watching the rabbit prepare it for him. He enjoyed the bugs more a second time, and after they’d eaten, they again retired to the sofa.
Ellie plopped down and patted her thigh. “Rest your head, kitty. I want to pet you.”
Jason lay on the couch with his head on Ellie’s lap, his nose facing outward. Ellie stroked his cheek and caressed his ear with one finger.
“I never would have imagined this,” she said softly. “Just meeting you again was a surprise, but to know you want to be my kitty.” She let out a happy sigh while she continued to pet him. “Imagine if you’d stayed with us all those years ago. You could have been my pet since I was a kit.”
“I’m glad I get to be your pet now,” Jason breathed. His chest was full of affection for the doe who had saved him all those years ago. I could hardly believe that this was real, that he could be her kitty for the rest of his life.
Ellie scritched his cheek with her blunt claws. “You know if you go through with this, you will belong to me, right, kitty? If you just want to live as a prey, I can still help you, and you can still live here, at least for a while. But if you want to be my kitty, then it’s for keeps. You’ll have to obey me and be my pet forever. Are you sure that’s what you want?”
“It’s what I want, Ellie,” Jason answered sincerely. “I never want to be apart from you. I want to please you however I can for the rest of my life.”
Ellie sighed happily, “I love to hear how much you want to be mine. I’ll take full advantage of such an obedient kitty, and maybe people will understand this better than if we were just friends. Either the predator or the prey has to win in this world. Once you surrender yourself to me completely and become my possession, people will understand it was the prey who won this time.”
Jason didn’t mind the idea of losing to Ellie. Maybe in the sense of the natural struggle between predator and prey, he would have lost once he took his place as the rabbit’s pet, but he didn’t care about that struggle; he didn’t want to be a part of it. What he wanted was to belong to Ellie, to be in her arms or under her paw as she desired. He wanted his purpose in life to be to fulfill her desires. Nothing would bring him greater contentment.
“Roll over for me,” Ellie requested.
Jason rolled over so that his nose was toward her belly, and she pushed his head until his nose was pressed into soft fur. She continued to pet him, gazing down with a soft smile and half-lidded brown eyes.
“I hope you don’t change your mind,” she murmured. “You’re such a beautiful kitty, and I want you to be mine. Now, get on the floor and massage and wash my feet again before you have to go home.”
A few hours later, Jason and Ellie said goodbye until tomorrow, and Jason headed out the tunnel and back toward home. His bell jingled as he walked, and he could feel the collar snug around his neck, constant reminders of Ellie’s claim to him. His mind on the rabbit, he was surprised when Fitzie popped out of a patch of ferns.
“Jason! I wondered what that noise was!” the ferret remarked. “What are you…” The sable ferret’s dark eyes fell on the shiny, silver bell, “Is that a bell? Why the heck are you wearing that?”
“Uh, hi Fitzie,” Jason replied. “Yeah, it’s a bell. Ellie gave it to me.”
Fitzie sniffed and grinned toothily, “Oh yeah, you do smell like rabbit. How’s the dating been going then?”
Jason smiled shyly, “Great. We’ve been getting along really well.”
Fitzie’s eyes sparkled deviously, “Have you done it yet?”
Jason blushed, “N-not yet. That’s up to Ellie.”
The hob eyed him amusedly but didn’t press the matter further. “So what have you been doing?”
“I tried eating bugs, and we’ve been talking and other stuff.”
“How were they?”
“Not bad. I liked them better after I had a chance to think about what spices to add.”
“I guess that’s good. I still don’t like the idea of you leaving us to become a prey. What was the bell for again?”
“Uh, Ellie wanted me to wear it so that I couldn’t hunt prey. I told her I mostly eat fish. But she wanted me to wear it, so I am.”
Fitzie smirked, “Don’t tell me she already has you wrapped around her paw. You must really like her to wear a collar with a… Wait a minute. Is there also a lock on it?” he added a bit disconcertedly.
Jason self-consciously touched the padlock that secured the collar around his neck. “Er, yeah. Ellie wanted me to wear a collar with a lock for her. I’m still getting used to it, but it’s not that annoying.”
“But you can, like, take it off, right?” the ferret pressed concernedly.
Jason shook his head embarrassedly, jingling the bell, which only embarrassed him more, “I gave Ellie the keys. I guess I could cut it off if I needed to, but she said she’d take it off if I asked her.”
Fitzie seemed very concerned now, “Where did that collar come from? Why wouldn’t you keep a spare just in case?”
“I, uh, I bought it at the shop that sells stuff for predators with prey pet-“
“You’re wearing a slave collar?!” the hob yelped. “What’s going on here, Jason?!”
Jason’s tail was thrashing behind him agitatedly, matching his mood. “I-it’s what Ellie wanted. She said she’ll take it off if I change my mind.”
“What if she won’t? Change your mind about what?!” The hod sounded equal parts shocked and concerned.
“I-I’m sure I can cut it off or-“
“You’re not supposed to be able to!”
“I-it’s okay, Fitzie. I trust Ellie. Besides, I, um, I’m probably not going to ask her to take it off. I, um, I guess I should tell you what’s been happening-“
“You had better! It’s only been two days!”
“I-I know, but I really like her, Fitzie, and, um, what we’ve been doing has felt really right. I, uh, I might not be living as a prey after all. I might become Ellie’s pet.”
“Her pet?!” Fitzie squawked. “I thought you were dating! Has she been brainwashing you?!”
“No! I just, um, things went a certain way, and she said she’d like me to be her kitty. I-I know it sounds extreme, but I want to be hers, completely.”
Fitzie shook his head in disbelief. “What’s gotten into you, Jason?! You always hated how those jerks keep prey as their slaves! Don’t tell me you just thought it should be the other way around!”
“I-it’s not like that,” Jason replied awkwardly. “I, um, I still think it’s wrong, but i-if it’s my choice, then it’s different. E-Ellie isn’t forcing me. It’s my choice to go through with this or not.”
“Don’t do it, Jason! I can’t believe I have to tell you this, but don’t agree to be a rabbit’s slave! It’s nuts!”
“I’ll be her pet, not her slave,” Jason replied; although, even as he did, he knew it was a quibble. What was the difference ultimately?
Fitzie stared at him in disbelief. “You really want to go though with this. Why, Jason?”
“I know it will be hard for you to understand, Fitzie, but this just feels right somehow. I know that I’ll be happy as her pet. I know she’ll treat me fairly. When I think about belonging to her and being her obedient pet, it feels wonderful; it’s already felt wonderful.”
“What have you been doing with this rabbit?” Fitzie asked weakly.
“N-nothing that extreme! Just, mostly foot massages, and I, um, washed them with my tongue,” he trailed off embarrassedly.
“Please don’t do this, Jason,” the hob begged. “I didn’t want you to leave us before, but now, I can’t bear it knowing you’ll be a rabbit’s slave.”
“It won’t be that different! I’ll ask Ellie if you can still come visit!” Jason rejoined anxiously. He knew this would be hard for the ferret to accept, but he didn’t want him to be upset.
“I don’t want to come over and watch my best friend lick a rabbit’s feet!” Fitzie shot back. “If you go through with this, we’re through, Jason! I don’t want to take part in you throwing your life away to satisfy some fetish!”
“Please don’t say that, Fitzie,” Jason whined. “It won’t be like that; Ellie isn’t cruel. She won’t mistreat me.”
“Then why does she want you to be her slave?!”
“Sh-she’s a prey. It probably feels good to have a predator under her paw,” Jason offered. “It makes both of us feel good! It can’t be wrong if we both consent!”
“How can you consent to a lifetime of enslavement? You don’t know what she’ll make you do. You barely know her!”
“I know Ellie’s a good person. She saw that I wanted this, and that’s why she offered it. I know she’ll enjoy it too, and maybe that sounds nefarious. But I know that when she says I’ll be her pet she intends to take care of me.”
“It sounds nefarious because it is! I’m sure she’ll be happy to have a feline slave she can “take care of” as she sees fit. You’re the one giving everything! I won’t let you do this, Jason! I’ll tell your brother and sister if I have to! Someone has to stop you from throwing your life away!”
“It’s my life to give!” Jason returned angrily. “I’m sorry you don’t understand, Fitzie, but you don’t have any right to try to stop me! This is my life and my decision! And I’m not going to die! I’m just going to live in a way you wouldn’t want to. How can you try to stop me from living the life I want to and call yourself my friend?”
“How can I call myself your friend and not try to stop you?! How can you think the best life you can have is being a rabbit’s foot-licker?”
“Because I love that rabbit and would do anything for her!” Jason shouted. “Why is that so hard to understand?”
Fitzie looked at him sadly, “I do understand, Jason. You’re my friend, and I love you. But you’re taking this too far. I know you want to show how much you love her, but becoming her slave isn’t the way to do that.”
“I love you too, Fitzie,” Jason replied, melancholy. “I don’t want us to stop being friends. I know you’re worried for me, but you don’t need to be. Ellie wouldn’t hurt me. I’ll be her beloved pet, not a toy she treats thoughtlessly.”
“I hope you’re right, Jason, but I still think you should reconsider. I, um, I won’t tell your brother and sister, but please rethink this. I’m sure you and Ellie can be together without one of you being the other’s slave.”
“I promise to consider it carefully,” Jason conceded, not that he hadn’t considered it plenty! All he could think about was being Ellie’s pet, about serving and obeying her, about being under her paw. He couldn’t wait to truly be hers!
Fitzie stepped forward and gave Jason a hug. Jason hugged the small ferret back. He hoped Fitzie would be able to accept this eventually.
They parted ways, and Jason returned to his house. He was thinking about making dinner when there was a knock on his door. He opened it to see Oliver.
“Uncle Jason! Mom said to invite you over for dinner!” Oliver piped cheerfully.
Jason smiled at the kitten, but he could feel the collar locked around his neck and knew visiting his brother wasn’t likely to go well. “Tell your mom I said thank you, but I have to go to work soon,” Jason instructed.
“Okay!” Jason thought that would be the end of it, but Oliver added. “I smell Ellie! Is she here?”
Jason flipped his tail embarrassedly. “The two of us were hanging out earlier, but she’s not here now.”
“Will she come play with us again?”
“I’ll ask her,” Jason promised, knowing the answer already.
“She’s fun. I hope she comes to play with us soon!”
Jason nodded. “Run home and tell your mom I said thank you but I can’t.”
Oliver nodded and darted off. Jason sighed in relief and shut the door. However, his relief was short-lived. Several minutes later, there was another knock, and Jason found Dexter at the door.
Dexter began annoyedly, “Oliver said you’ve been hang-“ He stopped, and his green eyes ogled the collar around Jason’s neck. “What in Tartarus are you wearing?!” he yowled in shock.
“I-it’s just a collar,” Jason mewed meekly.
“I can see that! Don’t tell me you let the rabbit put that on you! Take that off, and come to dinner! Marie wants to apologize for the other night for some reason. I told her there was no reason to, but she feels bad about how she treated your rabbit since she heard about her saving Oliver.”
“I’ll let Ellie know that, but I, uh, I can’t take this off. It’s locked.”
“Then unlock it!”
“I, um, Ellie has the only keys. We’re, um.”
“Don’t tell me! I don’t want to hear it!” Dexter spat in disgust. “If you’re too busy getting kinky with your rabbit, then I’ll leave you to it!”
Dexter stormed off, and Jason didn’t call him back to explain. It was better his brother didn’t know about him becoming Ellie’s pet. He wasn’t sure how he’d hide the fact. Maybe he’d say he was moving away.
* * *
Ellie had made up the hours she owed for Doris, so she spent the morning foraging. She munched as she went and returned to her burrow with her basket a little after noon. Jason had not yet arrived, but as she was making her way to the burrow she scented a ferret. She froze, sniffing and listening closely with her ears. She could dash for the burrow, but a ferret would be able to follow her in. She could run, but she didn’t want to panic if the ferret was gone. She heard a rustle in the ferns and jerked toward the noise, preparing to bolt.
The ferret held up his hands. She thought she recognized him as the hob she’d met with Jason. “Hey, I’m, uh, not going to hurt you,” he said awkwardly. “I just want to talk.”
“About what?” Ellie asked cautiously though she could guess.
“Jason. I, uh, talked to him yesterday.”
Ellie nodded but made no further comment.
The ferret went on, “He said the two of you had been, um, getting together, and that he might be, might be going to become your ‘pet’.”
“That’s up to him,” Ellie said lightly. “He seems to like the idea.” She could easily imagine how the ferret would feel about the cat belonging to her.
The ferret stared at her for a few seconds and then fell down onto his knees, not a very big drop given his short legs. He clasped his hands together, looking comically pitiful. “Please don’t make Jason your pet,” he whimpered. “I don’t care if the two of you date or what else you do. Just please don’t make him a slave! I don’t care if he wants it; just tell him it’s too far!”
Ellie’s whiskers twitched. She didn’t know whether to laugh or feel sorry for the pathetic ferret. “I’m not going to do anything terrible to him,” she mollified. “I’ll take good care of him if he chooses to be my pet.”
“Please! I’ll do anything!” the ferret cried.
“Hmm, I guess if you let me tie you up and sell you as a slave, I might let Jason off the hook,” Ellie teased. “But if he really wants it, then who am I to deny him the pleasure of being my kitty? He’s very handsome. I wouldn’t mind having a pretty kitty love and worship me. He’s quite good at the worshiping part already.”
“I-is that what you’re going to do to Jason?” he whined. “Sell him to someone who will hurt him once you get bored?”
“Of course not! I’ll keep him forever! You’re not like Jason: you don’t have any compunction about eating prey. If I sold you and they skinned you for a warm coat, I wouldn’t lose any sleep over it. You murder people like me! Jason is precious, a predator with an actual conscience! Maybe that also makes him a little weird, or maybe he’s just a pervert. Either way, if he wants to be my pet, I’ll treat him well, like the precious kitty he is.”
The ferret stood up, looking a little embarrassed. “You’ll, uh, really take good care of him?”
Ellie nodded, “I promise. We’ll have fun, of course, but he’ll be safe and loved.”
“I, I guess I will trust you,” the ferret returned awkwardly. “I still don’t want him to go through with it, but maybe I can believe you don’t mean him any harm.”
“If you change your mind about letting me tie you up, let me know,” Ellie said with a wave. She crawled into her burrow.
Ellie put away the herbs she’d picked and went back out the tunnel, poking her head outside to look for Jason. She heard him before she saw him, his bell jingling as he made his way though the underbrush. When the brown tabby appeared, she slipped out of the tunnel and bounded up to greet him, giving him a hug around his middle.
“Hello, kitty! I see you’re still wearing your bell and everything! Did you keep it on like a good kitty?”
“Yes, Ellie, I wore it all the time like you told me to,” Jason returned fervently.
Ellie giggled and squeezed him a little tighter. “Good kitty. You still want to be my pet then? You haven’t changed your mind?”
“I haven’t changed it,” Jason replied with conviction.
“Your ferret friend dropped by. He was worried about you, but I tried to set his mind at ease.”
“Fitzie? He, he didn’t threaten you, did he?” Jason asked worriedly.
“No, not that I couldn’t take him,” Ellie replied nonchalantly. Ellie led Jason inside. “Did you have lunch? I’m afraid I’m out of bugs. I’ll get you more if you want to come for lunch tomorrow.”
“Let me give you some money for that!” Jason pulled some copper and silver coins out of the pouch he wore on his hip.
Ellie eyed the money in amazement; it was more than she’d ever seen! “Prey, uh, usually barter for what we need,” Ellie explained. “I can just trade Doris a couple more hours at the community garden.”
“Won’t she take money?” Jason asked embarrassedly.
“I, uh, I guess she probably will.”
Jason picked up Ellie’s hand and put the coins in it. “Please don’t go out of your way for me. Take this if you can use it.”
“Th-thanks!” Ellie mumbled embarrassedly as she felt the weight of the pile of warm, metal coins in her hand. She was rich! “Do you think you can get more than this if you sell your house?”
Jason gave her a funny look. “I’ll get at least a hundred gold pieces for my house, without the furniture.”
“Wha?! Really?!” Ellie gasped. She’d never even seen a gold piece! “I-I can’t even imagine having money like that!”
Jason smiled softly. He crouched down, lifted Ellie’s other hand, and kissed it. His sea-green eyes gazed up at her devotedly. “I’ll gladly give it all to my bunny owner. What would a pet need with money?”
Ellie stared down at him in amazement. Until now, she only thought about the beautiful cat she’d have at her beck and call. She hadn’t thought about how much gold he might bring with him. “You’ll really give all that to me?”
“Why not? I’m going to belong to you, right? So anything that was mine should be yours.”
Ellie smiled and petted his stripy head. “I won’t argue with that. We should be able to have a lot of nice things with all that, anything we could want.”
Jason purred. “All I want is to be yours,” he sighed happily.
“Good kitty,” Ellie said contentedly. “Now, how about you tend to my feet? I’ve been tromping around everywhere this morning, and they could use a nice massage and a wash.”
Ellie watched the tom massaging and then licking her feet while she lay on the couch. It still brought her immense pleasure to see the predator with his tongue between her toes, worshiping her like she was his goddess rather than his prey. She wondered if it would ever get old but she suspected it wouldn’t. Predators would remain a deadly threat to her even if this predator was under her paw. She could be satisfied that at least this one predator had been brought to heel, not only neutralized as a threat but transformed into an obedient toy for her pleasure. Of course, that was merely because Jason was a good and obedient kitty, and he wanted to belong to her. But since it was his experience with her as a kit that had put him on this trajectory, she could still take credit for taming him.
When Jason had finished with her feet, Ellie rolled over onto her belly. “Why don’t you wash my tail now?” She suggested. She tried to sound nonchalant, but her hear was pounding as she waited, holding her breath, to see whether the cat would obey. Would licking her tail be too demeaning for him? She’d already pushed the limits of his obedience. Would he refuse to be pushed further?
She felt Jason’s rough, warm tongue stroke up the length of her fuzzy scut. She let out her breath in a sigh of pleasure and couldn’t resist a giggle. “What a good kitty,” she praised teasingly. She relaxed onto the soft couch as the cat’s tongue continued to stoke her tail, washing every millimeter with diligent adoration. This was Elysium! Having the cat tend to her feet had been delightful, but this was bliss.
“I love you, Ellie,” Jason murmured when he finished.
Ellie glanced back with a small smile, “I’m fond of you too, kitty. It’s nice to know I’ll have such a devoted and obedient pet. You don’t need to rush things, but I can’t wait to have you here and know you’re not going to leave, that you’ll always be mine.”
“I can’t wait either, Ellie. I’ll try to get things done as fast as I can,” Jason swore.
* * *
Over the next few weeks, Jason spent what time he had between working and visiting Ellie getting his house on the market and selling his things. He told his family he was moving to another town to start a new job, but he wasn’t sure if they believed him. His sister seemed worried, but his brother barely looked at him when they talked. Jason knew the collar and bell he always wore didn’t help assuage either of their concerns, but the symbol of his connection to Ellie and their future together were precious to him. Finally, Jason found a family of cats to pay cash for his house. He collected his few remaining belongings and the heavy sack of gold and left the predator town for what he assumed might be the final time. He would be living as a prey now or, at least, among them. He still didn’t know how other prey would view him as Ellie’s pet, but all he really cared about was being with the rabbit.
Ellie met him outside her burrow, her eyes widening when they fell on the heavy sack. “Is that all gold in there?!” she asked excitedly.
Jason smiled and nodded, “I had higher offers, but this one was in cash. Do you, uh, have someplace to keep it?”
Ellie nodded eagerly, “I bought a safe with some of the money you gave me before!”
Ellie led him inside; although, Jason knew the way well by now. He slid the sack of gold into the tunnel before him and pushed himself through to find Ellie struggling to pick it up.
“Let me get it. It probably weighs as much as you,” he meowed. Ellie stepped back and allowed him to heft the sack.
“You’re still really sure about this, aren’t you, Jason?” she asked.
Jason looked up to see her brown eyes staring at him probingly, “I am.”
Ellie smiled, “Alright, this way!”
Jason followed her to her to the heavy metal door that led into her cellar (if that was the right word for it). Ellie flipped on a light and bounded across the room to a big, iron safe. She carefully turned the combination lock and then turned the handle. The heavy door glided open. Jason noticed a few of the coins he’d given her before in the bottom of the safe, and he smiled. He felt good to be helping Ellie out in this way. She deserved to have the luxuries this money could buy her. The money would help buy him food too, but Jason almost didn’t think about that. He set the sack inside the safe. Ellie opened it to peek inside and grabbed a few gold coins before shutting the door and giving the combination lock a twist.
“Now that’s all squared away, there’s only one more thing we have to do!” she piped cheerfully.
“W-what’s that?” Jason mewed embarrassedly. While they’d been dating for weeks, they’d never ‘done it’ quite yet. Ellie had teased him, and he knew she was into him. But she’d seemed content to have her worship her in their usual way. Now that he belonged to her though…
“We have to make this official! Wait here! I’ll grab my cloak!”
Jason watched Ellie scurry up the ladder a bit bemusedly. Official? What else was there to do?
Ellie returned after a few minutes with her black cloak pulled over her ears and clipped a leash to his collar. She gave him a little tug back toward the exit. “Come on, kitty. We don’t want to get there late!”
Jason followed the doe back outside, still unsure where they were headed. His heart began to race when he realized they were heading toward the predator town! Would she lead him through the street so that everyone could see who he now belonged to? That would be suicide!
“Ellie!” he whispered. “Where are we going?!”
She glanced back at him questioningly, “The Count’s! I told you: we have to make this official!”
“O-official how?” Jason asked nervously. Did she plan to have the Count marry them? He wouldn’t have objected to that idea, but she’d never mentioned it before.
“Officially my pet! There’s paperwork to fill out. I don’t want to be charged with abducting you!”
“O-oh! I, uh, I guess that makes sense. I didn’t know prey had to, uh.”
“Follow the law? Yeah, you wouldn’t think so since predators can kill us, but prey are technically food and citizens. We get almost no rights, but they’ll still come after us if we break their rules. Lucky us,” she finished dryly.
“Oh. I’m sorry, Ellie. I wish things weren’t like this,” Jason replied awkwardly. It had never even occurred to him prey had to follow the law. There were laws about hunting prey, of course. Predators had to be sporting, and using a weapon to hunt was a quick way to get tossed down an oubliette. But it was justified more as a matter of fairness and decency than as a matter of prey rights.
Ellie smiled at him amusedly, “It’s okay, kitty. If all predators were as compliant as you about becoming our pets, things would be a lot different.”
They skirted the town and eventually arrived at the Count’s estate. Ellie pulled back her hood when the pine marten footman greeted them at the door.
“I have an appointment with His Lordship,” she piped.
The pine marten eyed the two of them impassively, “This way, Miss.”
They followed the footman upstairs to what was evidently the Count’s office. The handsome red tod was seated behind a large oaken desk, and he looked up as they entered.
“The rabbit who wanted to see you, Your Lordship,” the pine marten stated coolly.
The fox’s amber eyes seemed to twinkle as he studied the two of them, and he smirked. “Well then, it’s nice to meet you, Miss, and this is your willing feline friend, I take it?”
“That’s right!” Ellie piped cheerfully. “Thank you for granting me an audience for this!”
The fox grinned toothily, “Oh, it’s my pleasure, Miss. I rarely get to witness something this amusing, let alone take part. Now, cat, you’re sure you wish to go through with this? You truly desire to become this lady’s property?”
Jason was embarrassed to admit it to the tod, but he nodded, “I do, Your Lordship.”
“Very well. I’ve written up the contract as you requested, Miss.” He turned a handwritten piece of parchment toward them on the desk. “You’ll sign here, and your pet will sign here,” he explained, indicating two lines. “But first the matter of payment.”
Ellie produced the five gold coins she’d taken from the sack, “I have it right here, Your Lordship!”
The tod nodded, and Ellie led Jason to the desk, placing the gold pieces on it.
The tod hefted one of the pieces and then scooped them into a drawer. He handed Ellie a pen and indicated her line again. “Take your time to read it if you like.”
Jason would have skimmed it and signed to get out of the office as quickly as possible, but Ellie seemed to take reading the contract very seriously. Jason decided to look over it as well, and aside from the contract describing him as Ellie’s slave, nothing seemed amiss. He knew exactly what he was walking into after all. Ellie signed her name and handed the pen to him with a warm smile. Jason smiled back and signed on his respective line.
The count turned the parchment back around to examine the signatures, dripped some orange wax onto the bottom, and stamped it with his seal before rolling up the parchment and handing it to Ellie. “Have fun with your property, Miss,” he sallied.
“I will!” Ellie piped cheerfully. She looked up at Jason with a warm smile. “It’s time to go home, kitty.”
Jason smiled back down at her. It was official now: he belonged to this little doe. Ellie pulled up her hood and took his leash, giving him a tug toward the door. Jason followed her as she strutted her way outside to make the trip back to his forever home.
***
Ellie led her kitty through the woods around the town, anxious to get home. Even with paperwork in hand, she couldn’t shake the fear that some predator would swoop in to take him away from her. They had circumnavigated the town and were making their way through the last leg of the woods when Ellie was startled by someone crashing through the underbrush. Jason stepped protectively in front of her as a sliver tabby burst out of the bracken. Her yellow-green eyes were wide with horror as she stared at the two of them.
“Jason! W-what is this?!” the cat yowled. “D-Dexter told me we wouldn’t see you again, but he wouldn’t say why! What’s going on?! I came to ask you, but I didn’t expect this!”
Ellie nervously shrunk behind the tom. “Do you know this cat, Jason?”
Jason nodded, looking ill, “Th-this is my sister, Wendy. I, I didn’t think-“
“Answer me!” the queen yowled. “What’s happening?! Are you being arrested?! Who is that in the hood?!”
“I-it’s okay, Wendy,” Jason tried to soothe her uncomfortably. “I’m not in trouble. I’ve decided to, uh, live with Ellie now. We’re just having fun; it’s nothing to worry about.”
“Who’s Ellie?! What do you mean you’re going to live with her?! Why wouldn’t you tell us if you had a partner? Why wouldn’t we be able to see you ever again?”
“Because, um, I, uh, I can’t really explain,” Jason meowed pitifully.
The queen stalked toward them dangerously, “You! Who are you? Explain what’s going on!”
Jason protectively kept himself between the queen and Ellie, “I won’t let you hurt her, Wendy.”
“I’m not going to hurt her!” the queen snapped. “I just want to,” she paused, and her eyes narrowed. She sniffed and opened her mouth to taste the air. “Is that a rabbit?!”
Ellie pushed back her hood and blinked at the silver tabby from behind her protector. “Yeah, I am. Get it now? Jason’s going to live with me.” She held up the rolled parchment. “He belongs to me now. I’m sorry you won’t see him again, but he chose this life. He wanted to be my pet.”
The queen lunged at Ellie, but Jason leapt in the way and hissed. The queen stumbled back with a look of shock. “Jason! What are you doing?!”
“I told you I wouldn’t let you hurt her!” Jason growled.
“But, but she-“
“She’s telling the truth! This was my decision! I know you won’t understand; I didn’t want you to find out. But you aren’t going to stop me!”
“Why are you doing this?! Why would you leave us to, to be a rabbit’s pet?!”
“Because I love her, Wendy. I don’t care if I’m her pet: I just want to be with her.”
“Please don’t do this, Jason,” the queen begged. “I love you too; your family loves you! I don’t want to lose you forever!”
“I’m sorry, Wendy,” Jason meowed sadly. “I wish it didn’t need to be this way. I wish predators and prey could live in peace, but I can’t be a predator and also be with Ellie. I had to choose.”
“Please don’t go,” the queen whimpered, tears glistening in her yellow-green eyes.
“If you really want to, you can come too,” Ellie offered placidly.
The queen glared at her doubtfully, and even Jason looked at her in surprise.
“I mean, if you give yourself up, I’ll take you too,” Ellie explained. “I don’t really want a second pet, but I’m sure I can find someone to take you. And I’ll even promise to make sure it’s someone who won’t treat you cruelly since you’re Jason’s sister.” Ellie expected the queen would reject this idea, of course, but she thought she should at least give her an idea of the choice she had.
“And, I’d still get to see Jason?” the queen asked hesitantly.
Ellie shrugged, “Sure, I could even see if someone from my family would take you. Then you could visit him once in a while.”
“You don’t need to do this, Wendy!” Jason interjected. “I’ll be okay!”
“How will I know that if I never see you again?!” the queen demanded. She eyed Ellie nervously, “And you swear to the gods that they won’t kill me?”
“I swear it, to Zeus and all the rest. You’ll probably have to do some cleaning and some gardening, but you’ll have food and a place to sleep. If you’re a good kitty, it won’t be too hard for you.” There was only so much you could say to make slavery sound appealing!
The queen hesitated a moment longer, but then she nodded, “I’ll go with you.”
“Wendy!” Jason yelped in protest.
The queen looked away from him, “This is my choice,” she muttered angrily.
“Use your leash to tie her arms behind her back, and we’ll take her with us,” Ellie instructed the tom gently.
Jason looked at her desperately, “I-I don’t, we can’t.”
“She’ll be okay,” Ellie soothed. “I’ll find someone who will be gentle with her. Besides, this means she won’t hurt prey anymore. This is the right thing for us to do, Jason.”
Jason looked at her uncertainly, but then he nodded. He removed his leash, and slowly stepped over to the queen. “Are you sure about this, Wendy?” he murmured. “You know that you’ll belong to a prey if you go through with this.”
“It seems good enough for you,” the queen returned harshly without looking at him.
“Ellie’s special.”
The queen turned her head to look at him, “Special enough to give up everything for?”
Jason nodded.
“So are you. I won’t let you go like this. If you’re going, I’m going with you.”
Jason hesitated a moment and glanced at Ellie before turning back to the queen. “I know that Ellie will be fair with you. Don’t be afraid.” He took her arm, gently pulled it behind her back, and began tying it.
Ellie watched at Jason tied the queen. They both looked uncomfortable. It was hard to imagine what it must be like for them. She felt a little guilty, but she still believed this was right. The queen was a predator; she slaughtered people like her. She might not like being a slave, but it was better than the alternative.
Ellie walked behind the cats as Jason led his sister back to the burrow. They didn’t talk, and Ellie didn’t interrupt their silence. The awkwardness made the trip seem longer than it would have otherwise. Ellie was on edge that they would run into yet another of Jason’s acquaintances, but they didn’t. They arrived at the larger hole, and the queen stared uncomfortably at the earthen opening.
“It gets wider as you go,” Jason reassured her.
“How do I get in without my arms?” The queen grumbled.
“Go feet-first after me, and I’ll help pull you through,” Ellie suggested.
The queen gave her a sharp look, but it fell into one of submission, “Okay.”
Ellie scrambled into the hole and turned around once she could stand. After a minute, the queen’s padded, silver feet and tail appeared. Ellie grabbed her by the hocks but lurched forward as the queen pulled back her legs.
“It’s just me!” She called.
After a moment, the queen’s legs relaxed, and Ellie slowly pulled her down the tunnel until she plopped out on her rear. She glared at Ellie in the yellow glow of the LEDs. Ellie hesitated and then asked, “Do you want me to help you up?”
The queen scrambled to her feet, but she came up too quickly and bashed her head on the ceiling. She fell back onto her rear with a yowl, “Ow! Shit!”
Ellie hurried past her and took her by the arm from behind. She carefully helped her to her feet. The queen let her help her up but then pulled away with a growl. Ellie took a few quick steps down the tunnel and turned to watch the cat warily. Fortunately, Jason crawled out of the tunnel, and the queen turned toward him with a sob. Jason quickly got to his feet and led the queen down the widening tunnel to where they could both stand. He hugged her and stroked her comfortingly while the queen shook with quiet sobs.
“It’s okay, Wendy,” he soothed.
“I-I don’t want to live down a hole!” She sobbed. “I don’t want to be a rabbit’s s-slave!”
Jason looked at Ellie desperately, “Can we let her go, Ellie?”
“Now she knows where the back entrance is, and you know she’ll eat prey if we let her go. I’m sorry she’s upset, but I can’t sacrifice prey’s lives to let her go free. She’ll be alright, I promise.”
Jason hugged the crying queen. “It will be okay, Wendy. Ellie’s house is nice. You almost can’t tell it’s underground.”
Ellie wasn’t sure this was true. The lack of windows was a bit obvious, but she didn’t contradict Jason. She didn’t really feel sorry for the queen, who was a vicious predator, but she felt uncomfortable about the distress this was causing Jason. Still, she couldn’t let her go. The queen had given herself up, and Ellie had to ensure she remained subjugated. Lives were on the line.
Ellie led the cats to her lower entrance and up the ladder to her bedroom. “Sit her on the bed,” Ellie instructed Jason.
Jason led the queen to the bed by the arm, where she reluctantly sat down.
“I’m going to need to restrain her better,” Ellie explained.
“You are?” Jason asked worriedly.
“I won’t hurt her, I promise,” Ellie reassured him. “I just need to keep everyone safe.”
Jason nodded his ascent. Ellie when to her closet and took out a pair of handcuffs and a muzzle, which Jason eyed disconcertedly.
“Why do you have those?” He asked uncomfortably.
Ellie smiled amusedly, “For you, kitty.”
“F-for me?” Jason asked worriedly.
“For when we go to work at the garden. I know you won’t hurt anyone, but I asked and, tame or not, you have to wear a muzzle and gloves to cover your claws. I have some with cuffs that lock to your wrists.”
“W-what about the handcuffs? I can’t work without my hands.”
Ellie grinned deviously, narrowing her eyes, “Those are for us to have fun!”
Jason’s inner ears pinkened, and he glanced at the queen, who gave him a look of disgust.
Ellie gave the muzzle and handcuffs to Jason. “Put these on her, please, and then use your leash to tie her ankles so she can’t run.”
“We don’t…I can look after her,” Jason protested.
Ellie shook her head. “No, you can’t. You’re going to run to town and buy another collar, lock, and leash and another muzzle if you can find one. I can’t give her to someone without the proper restraints.”
“O-okay,” Jason agreed embarrassedly.
He awkwardly put the handcuffs and muzzle on the queen while trying to avoid her judgmental eyes and then moved the leash from her wrists to her ankles. When he was done, Ellie was satisfied that the queen wasn’t going anywhere for the time being. She took Jason down to the basement and gave him some money to purchase the restraints. He left through the cellar door, and Ellie ascended the ladder back to her bedroom. The queen was still sitting on her bed, not that she could have gotten far by hopping, and she eyed Ellie with hatred. The cat’s glare didn’t bother Ellie though: the queen was helpless. Ellie was the one in control.
Ellie hopped over to the bed, standing just a bit to the side so that she wouldn’t get kicked, and gave the queen a grin that showed off her big incisors. “So, it seems like I have another kitty under my paw,” Ellie teased amusedly. “Don’t look so angry, kitty. This is what you wanted. I promise you’ll get to see Jason, and your owner will be kind to you so long as you’re obedient.”
The queen growled.
“Shh, no impotent threats. You know you can’t do anything, kitty. You’re at my mercy.” On impish impulse, she quickly hopped into the queen’s lap and wriggled back until her fuzzy scut was pressed against the queen’s belly. “There. How do you like having your prey under your nose, kitty? Is it frustrating that you can’t eat me?”
The queen didn’t respond.
“Aww, cat got your tongue? You’re not even going to growl? Maybe you like this a little, being under the control of your prey.” Ellie got up and hopped back onto the bed. She pulled the queen down by her shoulders. “Lie down for me, kitty.”
The queen resisted, but she didn’t have a lot of leverage. The cat flopped backward with her legs going up in the air, and Ellie quickly sat on her chest with her feet on either side of the queen’s head.
Ellie gazed down at her amusedly. “That’s a good place for you. How do you like being beneath your prey?”
The queen glared but didn’t answer.
Ellie scooted forward until the queen’s head was between her thighs. Sitting on her neck and upper chest, she squeezed her head and gazed down at the muzzled face with a superior grin. The queen looked more uncomfortable than angry now but said nothing.
“Am I going to have to sit on your face to get a response out of you?” Ellie teased. “If you want to sniff my ass, all you need to do is say so.”
Ellie started to push herself up to do just that, but the queen’s mew stopped her, “Please don’t.”
Ellie sat back down and gave the queen’s head another squeeze with a grin of pleasure. “So, you do have something to say! How does it feel, kitty? Are you humiliated? Excited? How does it feel to belong to a rabbit?”
“I-I don’t know,” the cat mewed weakly.
“No? You must feel something.”
“It, it doesn’t feel real.”
Ellie petted her head. “It’s real, kitty. You’ll be a bunny’s pet for the rest of your life. Not my pet, but maybe one of my siblings will take you.”
“A-and Jason?”
“He’s mine.”
“I don’t…I know I agreed to go through with this, but-“
“You did, kitty, and there’s no turning back.”
“W-what are you going to do with me?” She whined.
“Me personally? Not much. I just wanted to have a little fun teasing you while you’re mine. What your owner will do to you, I don’t know. Probably make you clean and stuff. There are always chores to be done, and I’m sure it’s nice to have a kitty to do them.”
“Y-you won’t hurt me?”
“Not unless you’d like to be ‘punished’ a little,” Ellie teased.
“N-no.”
Ellie smiled down at her softly, “Don’t be scared, kitty. I wouldn’t give you to someone who’d hurt you. You’re Jason’s sister, and that counts for something. I wouldn’t want my kitty to be upset because his sister got turned into a pelt.”
“Y-you really care about him?”
“I love him. Jason’s precious to me.”
The queen was silent for a moment. “I hope he’s happy,” she murmured sadly.
“You might be happy too,” Ellie encouraged. “It might be fun to be a bunny’s pet. Besides, you don’t have to kill anyone anymore. That ought to be a relief.”
The queen gave her a gloomy look, “I loved being a predator. I don’t want to be a pet. I just didn’t want to lose Jason. I couldn’t bear to never see him again.”
“You must really love him,” Ellie replied sympathetically.
“He’s my brother, and he’s always been so gentle. He never liked to hunt prey, always eating that stinky fish. He’s weird, but he’s dear to me. I couldn’t let him disappear and never know what happened.”
Ellie petted the queen’s head with more genuine sympathy this time. “He’s a weirdo. I adore him for that. I understand why you didn’t want to lose him. I’ll make sure you get to see him, kitty.”
“Wendy.”
“Huh?”
“My name’s Wendy.”
“I know. You don’t like to be called ‘kitty’?”
“I don’t…I’m not going to be your pet, right?”
“Right. I already have one.”
“So then, I’d like you to use my name. I, I’d like us to be friends.”
Ellie gazed down at the queen with an amused smirk, “Friends? Well, sure, why not? Does that mean I can’t sit on you?”
“I’d prefer if you didn’t.”
Ellie got off of her and allowed the queen to sit up. “So then, Wendy, how is this friendship supposed to work? An unrepentant predator and the prey who caught her, and we’re friends because we both love Jason?”
To Ellie’s shock, the queen leapt up! She twisted around with a snarl and leapt at her with her head aimed at Ellie’s face! Reflexively, Ellie dropped back and kicked out with her powerful legs, catching the cat in the chest. The queen sprawled heavily on the floor with a yowl and a snarl.
Ellie leapt up. So much for being friends! She pounced on the queen and pinned her as before, squeezing the queen’s head between her thighs as she thrashed and struggled.
“You can’t have him!” The queen snarled. “Jason isn’t a rabbit’s pet!”
“He is, and I have the paperwork to prove it!” Ellie rejoined, but then she shook her head in annoyance. “I can’t believe I fell for that! I let you make me sympathize! You almost got me!”
“If I’d knocked you out, I would have smothered you!” the queen snarled. “Stupid leash! I couldn’t move fast enough!”
“And then you would have taken Jason home,” Ellie concluded.
“If you were dead, what would he stay for?” The queen growled.
“Makes sense, but you won’t get another chance like that!”
The queen continued to struggle but wore herself out and stopped.
Ellie sighed in relief, “You know, it would have been better for you if you were sincere,” she scolded. “I almost liked you. Wouldn’t it be smarter to ingratiate yourself with the person who gets to decide who’s going to own you?”
“Fuck you!” The queen spat.
Ellie sighed exasperatedly. “I guess all pretense of civility is over! Fine. If you’re just a vicious predator, then I’ll treat you like one.” Ellie pushed herself up but only so that she could quickly sit on the cat’s face! She ground her rear against the cat’s nose and mouth, easily blocking both with the nylon muzzle in place. “Let’s see. You were going to smother me, huh? I wonder how you like it!”
The cat growled and struggled to get free, but Ellie held her head tightly between her legs, pressing her ass firmly against the cat’s face.
“Fight if you think it will help you,” Ellie taunted. “If you give up, I might give you a little breath.”
The cat continued to struggle, becoming more and more desperate but no more effective. She began to whine as she squirmed, helpless and afraid. Ellie stared down at her coldly. This monster didn’t deserve sympathy. She’d proven that well enough.
“Submit,” Ellie growled. “And I might have mercy.”
Finally, the queen stopped struggling. Her yellow-green eyes begged Ellie to let her breathe.
“That’s right. Hold nice and still,” Ellie taunted. “Maybe I’ll let you have just a little air if you don’t move a muscle.” Ellie watched the desperate queen with satisfaction until her eyes rolled ventrally as she passed out.
Of course, Ellie wasn’t going to kill the queen, but she also didn’t know what to do with her. She moved backward to pin the queen between her thighs again and waited for her to wake up. Before long, the queen whimpered. Her eyes focused, and she looked up fearfully at Ellie.
“Should we do that again?” Ellie asked harshly.
“Please no,” the queen whimpered.
“Why shouldn’t I? Why shouldn’t I torment you as much as I like?” Ellie demanded.
“I-I’ll be good,” the queen whined. “I w-won’t hurt anyone.”
“That had better be the truth! I don’t want to upset Jason, but if you hurt anyone, I’ll skin you myself!”
“I-I promise I won’t.”
“And you have my promise of what will happen if you do,” Ellie replied dangerously. “Now, I think it’s time you learned to be an obedient kitty!” She scooted back and put her feet on the cat’s face. “Lick them!”
“I-I can’t,” the queen whined.
“Bullshit! If you can talk, you can stick your tongue between your teeth! Do it!”
The queen hesitated.
“If you don’t do as you’re told, I’ll have to punish you,” Ellie warned. She felt the queen’s rough tongue rasp against the furry bottom of her right foot. “Good. Now keep licking.”
The queen began to lick Ellie’s feet. She showed none of the enthusiasm Ellie was used to with Jason, but that merely showed she didn’t enjoy it. Ellie was sure the queen hated her all the more for this humiliation, but she was obeying. And that was what mattered.
“Jason does a much better job than this,” Ellie taunted. “Put your heart into it, kitty. Get them clean.”
The queen kept licking but changed her effort not at all.
“You know, if you don’t do a good job cleaning, your owner might sell you to someone else,” Ellie taunted. “It will be out of my hands then. Who knows what will happen to you? Have you ever heard what mice do if they can get their hands on a cat? It doesn’t bear mentioning!”
Ellie had no idea what mice did or if such a thing had ever happened, but it seemed like a good threat. Apparently, it was because the cat began to wash her feet with more vigor.
“That’s a good kitty.”
The queen was still washing Ellie’s feet when Ellie heard Jason come in the door downstairs. The queen heard it too and stopped.
“Keep going! My feet aren’t nearly clean! You haven’t gotten between my toes at all!” Ellie scolded. She felt the queen’s tongue push between one pair of toes, and she grinned.
Jason popped up out of the trap door and stared at the two of them in surprise, “What’s going on?”
Before Ellie could reply, the queen wailed, “This rabbit has been torturing me, Jason! Help me! Don’t let her hurt me anymore!”
Jason looked concerned but glanced to Ellie.
“She almost fooled me and tried to bash my face in with her head. I made it out on top though, and we’ve come to an understanding. I’m teaching her to be obedient.”
“You’re alright?” Jason asked worriedly.
Ellie nodded.
“I can watch her now. I’m sorry she tried to hurt you, Ellie,” Jason apologized.
“We’re fine. Wendy’s still working on my feet. It’s going to take her forever to get them clean if she doesn’t put in some effort. Did you get what I wanted?”
“All but the muzzle.”
“I’ll have to get you a new one. Leave the collar and leash here, and you can go make yourself something to eat.”
Jason set down the collar, leash, and lock beside them and headed upstairs. The queen watched him go in horror.
Ellie wiggled her toes on the queen’s face. “Well, get back to work! My feet won’t lick themselves!”
When Ellie was finally satisfied with the cleanliness of her feet. She locked the collar around the queen’s neck and attached the leash. Then she removed the leash from her ankles. She helped her up and pulled her toward the stairs. “If you’re lucky, Jason will have made you some bugs to eat too,” she said sternly as she led the miserable cat upstairs.
Jason had indeed made Wendy something to eat though it was cold by the time she got to it. Unwilling to remove both the queen’s muzzle and handcuffs. Ellie tied her to the chair by her leash and let Jason feed her the bug patty. She actually ate it for the tom, and Ellie suspected she would not have for her. When she was done, she pressed her head against Jason’s chest and wept silently, her shoulders shaking.
“I’m disappointed in you, Wendy,” Jason meowed grimly.
The queen sat up and looked at him in shock.
“You tried to hurt Ellie!” Jason said angrily. “Did you think I’d forgive you if you had?!”
“I-I just, I wanted you to come home, Jason,” the queen whimpered.
“This is my home now,” Jason replied firmly. “Ellie is my family.”
“I-I’m your family!” The queen protested. “Not a rabbit!”
Jason caressed her cheek. “You’re my family too, and I want the best for you. But that means you need to obey Ellie and the rabbit she gives you to. I know Ellie will pick someone kind to take care of you, but you need to let them be kind and not fight them. How do you think I’d feel if you hurt someone Ellie loves or if you got hurt? Promise me you’ll behave.”
“I-I promise, Jason,” the queen mewed sadly. Ellie thought she might actually be sincere this time. If she had been telling Ellie the truth about anything, the queen surely loved her brother.
Jason hugged her and tucked her head back against his chest. He held and stroked her, and she began to purr. It would have been touching if the queen hadn’t tried to kill Ellie earlier.
“Trim her claws, and then you can take your shower, Jason,” Ellie instructed.
Jason winced, “Do I have to? It’s been a long day!”
“You’re going to share my bed tonight, and I want you to be clean,” Ellie stated firmly.
The queen eyed him uncomfortably, “You’re really going to…to soak yourself and share a rabbit’s bed?”
Jason nodded embarrassedly. “What about Wendy?”
“She doesn’t need to shower. She isn’t sleeping with us.”
“Where is she going to sleep?”
“The couch. I’ll handcuff her to something.”
Jason put the queen’s muzzle back on. “I’ll be back in a minute with the nail clippers,” he murmured.
“Is there a bathroom in here?” the queen asked uncomfortably. “Or does she shit in a tunnel?”
Ellie didn’t dignify the question with a response.
“There’s a bathroom. I’ll help you,” Jason replied gently.
Better you than me! Ellie would not have relished helping the queen wipe her butt!
Jason led the queen downstairs to the bathroom, and it was several minutes before they returned with the nail clippers. The queen let Jason clip her nails without complaint, but Ellie could tell by the anxious looks the queen gave her that she didn’t like having her weapons denuded, even if they were currently behind her back.
“I’m going to take a shower now,” Jason murmured. “Be good for Ellie.”
The queen nodded but watched him go anxiously and then turned toward Ellie with a nervous expression.
“Well? Are you going to be good?” Ellie asked sternly.
The queen looked down and nodded.
“Then go sit on the couch, and I’ll brush you.”
The queen looked up at her in surprise but stood and went to the living room to sit. Ellie got Jason’s brush—she didn’t think he’d mind his sister’s fur being in it—and returned upstairs to stand next to the queen in front of the couch. She lifted the brush, and the queen winced.
“Don’t be scared,” Ellie soothed. She gently placed the soft bristled brush on the queen’s head and stroked it down to her neck. She gave her head a few more brushes and then brushed the queen’s fluffy cheeks.
The queen watched her in confusion but didn’t speak until Ellie was moving down her belly, “Why are you doing this?”
“You’ve been through a lot today, and I wanted to show you being a pet can be nice,” Ellie stated matter-of-factly.
“Th-thank you,” the queen replied embarrassedly.
Ellie glanced up from brushing the queen’s thighs. “We both love Jason, and we’re probably going to see quite a bit of each other. I don’t know about friends, but could we call a truce?”
The queen gave her a tiny smile, “Truce.”
Ellie finished the queen’s front and then climbed up on the couch to do her back. She finished with her long, stripy, silver tail. “Kitties are so pretty,” she murmured absently.
The queen tittered, “Heehee, you think so?”
Ellie looked up, her ears turning red, “I just meant-“
“I suppose you must be attracted to the feline allure since you’re into Jason,” the queen teased.
Ellie blushed hotter, “Maybe,” she grumbled.
“If you like me, you can pet me a while,” the queen said slyly. “I wouldn’t want me temporary ‘owner’ to feel deprived.”
Ellie tentatively reached out and petted the queen’s tail: it wasn’t as soft as she own fur, but it was cool and silky smooth. She stroked it again and then sat up and reached for the queen’s cheek.
“Why don’t you take these handcuffs off so I can pet you too?”
That snapped Ellie out of her trance. “So you can throttle me?” she asked dryly.
The queen put on a hurt expression, “I told Jason I’d behave! Do you think I would lie to my brother?”
“Probably.”
“I wouldn’t!” the queen protested. “Let me show you that you can trust me! I can’t wear handcuffs all the time if I’m going to be someone’s servant, and you had Jason take my claws. Show me a little trust.”
“That didn’t turn out well last time,” Ellie stated flatly.
“I’m sorry. I promise I won’t try to hurt you again. Let me make it up to you. I could brush you like you did me.”
The cat smiled at her and gazed at her with half-lidded yellow-green eyes. She was absolutely gorgeous! Ellie knew she was a predator, but after all, she had promised Jason, right? And Ellie could get away if she tried anything.
“Okay.” Ellie went downstairs for the key and her brush.
The cat was still waiting on the couch when she returned and beamed at her happily, “I can’t wait to brush you!”
Ellie hopped over to the couch and removed the handcuffs. The cat waited patiently until both sides were off. Then she took Ellie’s wrist in one hand and gently lifted Ellie’s hand to her muzzled mouth and kissed it. Her other hand reached behind her head and popped open the snap on the muzzle, which fell away. Shit! I forgot they were out of the lockable ones! Ellie tried to jerk away, but the cat held her firmly by the wrist.
“What’s wrong? Don’t be scared, little bunny?” she meowed innocently.
Ellie tried to smack her face with the brush, but the cat’s reflexes were quick. She caught Ellie’s other arm by the wrist as well.
“That’s not very friendly,” she taunted. “Don’t you want me to brush you now?” She eyed Ellie placidly as she struggled futilely to get away from the predator. “You know I could eat you now,” she stated matter-of-factly. “But then Jason would hate me forever. I made a promise to him, and I meant it. But,” she paused, and her eyes narrowed dangerously. “I think you owe me for all of that foot licking and smothering shit you pulled, so if you don’t want me to rip you to sheds, I suggest you get started!” She yanked Ellie off onto the floor and lifted her feet onto the couch with her footpads and toe-beans sticking over the edge. She kept hold of Ellie’s wrists all the while so that she couldn’t escape. “Well?!” she demanded while Ellie stared at her feet.
“Aww, well, they are awfully cute. I guess they could use some kisses,” Ellie replied sunnily.
The cat stared at her. “What?”
“You have such cute kitty beans! If you really want me to give them some attention, I don’t mind.”
“You aren’t supposed to like it! I’m humiliating you!” the cat protested.
“You’re being a bit of a naughty pet, but you already told me why you can’t hurt me. You’d lose Jason forever. It would be worse than if he’d simply gone away. He’d hate you, and he wouldn’t have anything to do with you.”
The cat growled, pushing her foot into Ellie’s face, “If it doesn’t bother you, then lick!”
Ellie gave one of her cute, pink toe-beans a nice big lick.
The cat yanked her foot away, “Akk! You licked it!”
“Uh, yeah, you told me to,” Ellie replied amusedly.
“But…you’re not…I was trying-“
“You were trying to scare me, I know. You thought I’d beg and plead like a scared little prey.”
“Why aren’t you?! You’re caught by a predator!” the queen protested.
“I’m afraid to get caught because that means getting eaten. I’m not afraid of being bullied by a pet kitty who can’t hurt me. If you want to pretend you’re in control for a while, I can humor you. So, should I keep licking your feet?”
The cat shook her head sullenly.
“Do you want to brush me?”
The cat sighed wearily, “Fine, I’ll brush you. Lie across my lap.”
The queen let Ellie’s wrists go, and Ellie lay on her belly across the queen’s thighs. The cat began to brush her with long strokes of the brush from her head and down her back. After a couple minutes, Ellie felt the cat’s fingers run through her fur.
“Bunnies are so soft,” she mewed. “I’ve touched them before, but I’ve never really petted one.”
“Not much point once they’re dead, huh?” Ellie muttered darkly.
The cat stroked her again, “I suppose not,” she admitted nonchalantly. “But I suppose it is nice to hold a bunny who’s not afraid, to give her a little attention. You are a cute little thing. Roll over so I can brush your belly.”
Ellie complied, and the queen stroked the brush from her neck down over her abdomen. Then she placed a hand on Ellie’s belly and ran her finger through her fur.
“Your sensitive little tummy. You aren’t afraid to even show that to me?” the cat breathed.
Ellie felt a little flutter of nervousness and embarrassment that she had allowed the predator access to her underbelly so easily, but she tried to look bold and shook her head, “You promised Jason.”
“I promised Jason,” the queen replied wistfully. “I guess you’re right. I’m not much of a predator anymore, just an obedient pet. You really have me right where you want me.”
“You’re learning to be a good kitty,” Ellie replied. “To control your violent impulses.”
“I can control them!” the queen yowled in shock. “Who said I couldn’t? I’m just partial to a nice pot of rabbit stew!”
Ellie frowned, but the queen grinned amusedly and caressed her cheek, “Don’t look so grumpy,” the queen teased. “You know I’m a carnivore.”
“You have to eat bugs from now on!” Ellie shot back. It was petty, but she wasn’t amused by the cat’s cavalier attitude.
The cat sighed sadly and nodded, “I’m going to miss proper meat. You don’t suppose I could get some if, say, someone died.”
“When prey die, it’s because a predator got them,” Ellie returned grimly.
“That can’t always be the case.”
“It basically is!”
The queen looked a little uncomfortable at this, “I suppose it’s hard for you to, um, know that’s how you’re going to end. I know it’s frightening, but we do try to make it quick!”
Ellie looked away angrily: she didn’t want to hear this predator justify the slaughter of prey!
“I’m sorry,” the cat mewed contritely. “Let’s just, I mean, I’m not really a predator anymore. I won’t hurt you.”
“And what about all the prey you have killed?” Ellie asked pointedly without looking at the cat.
“I, I can’t do anything about that.”
Ellie looked back at her sharply, “Yes, you can! You can atone for it by being a good and obedient pet and serving your prey owner for the rest of your life!”
“I-I will be, and I’m trying to be good! Am I still being bad? How should I be good?” the queen mewed anxiously.
Ellie’s expression softened a little, “No, you’re okay. You can unlearn everything in a few hours. But prey aren’t food; let’s start with that.”
“Alright, ‘prey aren’t food,’” the cat repeated.
“You didn’t need to repeat that.”
“Oh,” the cat mewed embarrassedly. She paused, “Can I go back to petting you, or do you want a turn?”
Ellie sat up, “My turn.”
* * *
Ellie was sitting in Wendy’s lap facing toward her and massaging her cheeks while the queen held her and rubbed her hands up and down her back when Jason came upstairs.
He stopped and stared, “Um, what’s going on?”
Ellie turned toward him with a big, happy grin, “Wendy and I were just getting acquainted. I think she’s going to be a good kitty from now on!” Ellie got up and hopped off the couch. “I’m going to take my shower now.” She glanced back at Wendy with a smirk, “If you want to join us in bed, you can take one after me.”
“Not on your life!” Wendy returned jovially.
Ellie laughed and bounded down the stairs.
Jason looked at his sister uncomfortably, “What was that? You two weren’t, um.”
Weny tittered, “Heehee! Gross! Don’t be lewd, Jason. That’s your thing.”
Jason blushed, “But-“
“We were just giving each other some pets! There was nothing untoward. Besides, you didn’t mind when she made me lick her feet!”
“Erm, sorry,” Jason murmured.
“Don’t worry about it. We’re, well, I think we’re friends now. She adores you, Jason; don’t ever let her tell you otherwise! You are more than a pet to her: you’re the love of her life.”
Jason blushed again, “I know. I love her too.”
“Good. She’s cute and, um, not so bad for a rabbit.”
Jason sat on the couch beside Wendy and nuzzled her cheek, “I’m glad you like her.”
* * *
Wendy groomed herself with her tongue and spent the night on the couch. There were a lot of sounds from downstairs once Ellie got out of the shower, but she tried not to think too much about them. If Jason wanted to fuck a rabbit, that was his business. She was actually disappointed when, after breakfast the next morning, Ellie told her they were going to try to find her an owner.
“There’s no rush, is there?” Wendy asked. “I don’t mind staying here.”
“If I get too attached to you, I won’t be able to let you go,” Ellie returned.
Wendy didn’t necessarily think that was a bad thing. “That’s okay. I don’t mind being your pet.”
“Jason would mind,” Ellie rejoined. “He was terribly needy after he saw us yesterday, torn up with jealousy.”
Wendy blushed.
“You were just horny,” Jason muttered.
Ellie giggled, “Heeheehee, you could be right, but can you blame me? You’re beautiful, Jason, but your sister is,” the doe ran her eyes over Wendy with a lascivious look. “Something else.”
Wendy didn’t know how to respond to that. She felt terribly flustered, her ears hot with her blush.
“So if you really want to be my pet, you’re welcome to,” Ellie went on slyly. “But you know what comes with that.”
“C-can I think about it?” Wendy asked embarrassedly.
Ellie grinned, “Sure you can. Of course, you also know you’ll have to share me with Jason, but I don’t mind if you kitties don’t mind. I’m going to use the bathroom before we leave.” Ellie went downstairs.
“You aren’t really considering it, Wendy!” Jason meowed anxiously. “You’ve never! She’s a rabbit and a doe!”
Wendy glanced away and brushed her whiskers bashfully, “I know, but she, uh, she is cute. I might not mind if she wanted to, you know.”
“You won’t mind sticking you tongue up her ass?”
Wendy looked back at him with a frown, “Why would I have to?”
“Because when you’re Ellie’s pet, there are no boundaries! If an idea pops into her head, she expects you to do it. She might be lying on the couch next to you and say, ‘Hey kitty, why don’t you eat my asshole for a while?’ and she’ll expect you to get started, no questions asked.”
“W-what were the two of you doing last night?!” Wendy yowled.
“Anything Ellie could think of, and she’s had a lot of time to think about what she’d like to do. We only went to bed because we passed out.”
“And this is the life you want?”
Jason nodded, “I do. I want to be Ellie’s toy. I want to fulfill her wild desires. You might think now she’ll see you as a partner or a friend, but in the end, you’d be her toy.”
“I, I guess I should try to find another owner then,” Wendy mumbled.
Jason nodded.
When they were ready to go, Ellie took them through the tunnels. “We’ll visit Daisy first!” she piped. “She has three sons and a useless husband, so I’m sure she could use a kitty servant.”
Wendy didn’t like the sound of that situation too much, but this was only the first of their visits anyway. Ellie had promised she wouldn’t give her to anyone she really didn’t like.
Ellie hit a buzzer beside the heavy, metal door.
“Yes?” an annoyed voice replied.
“Hi Daisy, it’s Ellie. Can we come in?”
“Just a minute. I’ll be down,” the voice didn’t sound much less annoyed to hear who it was. After a couple minutes, a doe opened the door. Unlike Ellie who was white with chocolate splotches, the doe was mostly brown with one white foot and ear. “Hello Ellie, I-” Her brown eyes bulged as they fell on the cats, “Great Zeus! What’s going on here, Ellie?!”
“Don’t be scared, Daisy,” Ellie soothed. “This is my kitty, Jason, and his sister, Wendy. They’re both good kitties. Wendy is looking for an owner who she can help out around the house and stuff.”
Daisy brightened a bit, “That could be a great help. With three kits to care for, my hands are always full.”
Wendy gave her a small smile but wasn’t won over just yet. Daisy led them upstairs to the living room where they found utter chaos. Three kits (two brown and one white) were squealing and darting about the room while another adult doe tried to catch them. One of them hurled a toy at another, and it glanced his ear, causing the hit rabbit to squeal in rage and leap at the other with a double kick. The other doe managed to catch him mid-air before either kit could be hurt. On the far side of the room, a black Dutch rabbit sat in an armchair and munched hay from a rack with his eyes glued to the tv, seemingly unaware of the surrounding chaos. He farted loudly.
“Raul! We have guests!” Daisy scolded. “I’m trying to decide about this new housemaid. Get over here!”
The buck glanced over disinterestedly, but his eyes lit up when he noticed the cats. He got up and bounded over. “Do we get to choose?”
“Yes, we can choose whether we want this cat to be our maid or not!” Daisy snapped, pointing at Wendy.
The buck ran his eyes over Wendy slowly, and it made the fur prickle along her spine. He hopped around her, examining her from all sides. “Zeus’ bolts! I wouldn’t mind watching that tail around here! I say we take her, Honey!”
Daisy glared at him but replied, “I was thinking so too. You know how much work I always have to do. I could use some help.”
The buck nodded blithely.
Wendy leaned over and whispered in Ellie’s ear, “Can I please eat him?”
Ellie glanced up at her with a smirk but shook her head slightly.
“Hello, I’m Gwendolen.”
Wendy looked up to see the other doe standing close to them. She was also mostly brown but with a white belly and a tapering white line running up her face from her chin.
“Hi Gwen! I wondered if you were going to have a chance to say hi,” Ellie piped cheerfully. She glanced at Wendy, “This is my younger sister Gwen, and these are my kitties. Wendy here is looking for a new home.”
“I’ll take her!” Gwen squeaked excitedly.
Daisy glared at her, “What do you need a maid for? You live by yourself!”
Gwendolen ignored her. She took Wendy’s right hand in both of hers and gazed up at her with hopeful brown eyes, “Will you come home with me, Wendy? I promise I’ll take good care of you.”
Wendy smiled, “I like this one, Ellie.”
Gwendolen squealed with glee, “She wants to come home with me! Can I take her, Ellie?!”
“As if it’s her choice!” Daisy snapped. “And like I said, you don’t need a maid!”
Wendy gave Daisy a cold look, “It is my choice, actually, and I wasn’t going to choose to live in this screaming Tartarus pit anyway.”
Daisy stared at her with her mouth open. “H-how dare you?! We’ll have to teach you some manners to start with!”
Wendy glared at the doe, “I’ll eat all of you.”
Daisy took a nervous step back. “Ellie, why isn’t this cat more restrained? I don’t think she’s as tame as you said she is!”
“She’s harmless. She promised not to hurt anyone,” Ellie replied cheerfully. “But Wendy’s right, Daisy. I said she could choose, so if she’s chosen Gwen, I guess that’s that.”
“Why would you let her choose?!” Daisy demanded angrily.
Ellie gave her a hard stare, “Because it’s my choice, and my choice was to let her choose.”
Gwendolen held her fingers up to Wendy’s nose like she thought she might like to sniff them, beaming up at her as she did. Wendy opened her mouth and gently bit the tip of one of her fingers.
“Ah!” Gwendolen gasped. Then she burst out laughing, “Ahahahaha! She’s so funny!” She carefully pulled her finger out of Wendy’s mouth and petted her cheek. “Good kitty. I can tell you’re just a big sweetheart, aren’t you?”
Wendy didn’t think anyone had ever called her that, but she smiled. This rabbit was a bit silly but she seemed nice. “Where did all the kits go?” she asked conversationally.
“I popped them in the oven when I saw we were having a pair of pretty kitties over for lunch,” Gwendolen replied dreamily.
“You what?!” Daisy squawked. She dashed out of the room.
Wendy looked at Gwendolen concernedly.
The doe stood up on tiptoes and whispered in her ear, “I just gave them a carton of blueberries to calm them down.”
“Gwendolen!” a screech came from the kitchen. Daisy tromped out, carrying a white kit under the shoulders: he was covered in blueberry juice. “Care to explain?”
“I thought it would calm them down.”
“Until they get gas later!”
Gwendolen glanced at the buck, “How will you be able to tell?”
“From the screaming and writhing on the floor!”
“Oh, uh, I guess I should take Wendy home anyway. She doesn’t like it here.”
“If you take that cat, you aren’t welcome back in our house,” Daisy growled. “You don’t need a maid; you’re just selfish!”
“Okay,” Gwendolen replied with a shrug. “Bye, Daisy. Come on, Wendy.” She took Wendy’s hand and tugged her toward the stairs to the tunnels.
“We should go too,” Ellie added quickly. “Good luck with the, uh, gas.”
Gwendolen led Wendy out, and Ellie and Jason followed close on their heals. They stopped when they were back in the tunnels.
“Are you both sure then?” Ellie asked. “I have a lot more siblings if you aren’t sure, Wendy.”
Wendy looked down at the doe, who beamed up at her happily. “I’m sure, thanks, Ellie.”
“I’ll bring Jason over to visit sometime, and you two are welcome to visit too,” Ellie said.
Wendy hugged Jason and Ellie and then took Gwendolen’s hand once again. They went their separate ways.
Wendy couldn’t help but notice how Gwendolen stole excited glances at her as she led her home. She smiled and held back her laughter. It was odd for this rabbit to be so excited to be taking a predator she didn’t know back to her home. Ellie had been cautious, but Gwendolen seemed to not suspect any danger at all, not that Wendy planned to pose any.
“How long have you been a pet, Wendy?” Gwendolen asked curiously.
“Since yesterday,” Wendy replied nonchalantly.
Gwendolen glanced at her in surprise, “Really? Then, um, when was the last time you ate prey?”
“Yesterday at breakfast.”
“O-oh, but you’ve, um, given that up?” the doe asked nervously.
“I promised my brother I’d behave. I assume you have bugs I can eat.”
“N-no, but I’ll get them!” Gwendolen returned anxiously. “Let’s, um, let’s do that before we go home.” She redirected them down a side tunnel and eventually came to a door, which she banged on.
A somewhat annoyed hedgehog opened it, “Yes?”
“I-I need to buy bugs for my kitty!” Gwendolen squeaked anxiously.
The hedgehog stared at Wendy with beady eyes, “Another one? What’s with you rabbits? Do you think predators are toys?”
“P-please! I can’t take her home with nothing to eat!”
The hedgehog sighed and turned around, “Just a minute.” A few minutes later, she came out with a paper bag. “That will be five hours at the community garden.”
Gwendolen nodded, but Wendy interjected, “That seems like a lot!”
The hedgehog glared at her, “Shut up, cat!”
Wendy growled, “Two hours seems like plenty, but if you’re going to rip us off, I might just rip out your throat instead.” There was not a hint of exaggeration in her voice, just cold threat.
The hedgehog took a step back with a look of horror, “Y-you’re not tame at all!”
“Who said I was? Now do we have a deal?” Wendy demanded.
The hedgehog thrusted the bag at them, “Fine! Two hours!”
Gwendolen took the bag with a look of surprise, and the hedgehog closed the door. The doe looked up at Wendy nervously.
“I wasn’t going to let her rip us off,” she stated.
“Y-yeah, um, thanks,” Gwendolen murmured. “You, um, really aren’t tame?”
“I promised my brother; that’s all,” Wendy replied. “If some prey pisses me off, I’m not afraid to eat them.”
Gwendolen swallowed, “O-okay. I’m, um, glad we got your food.”
Wendy gave her a reassuring smile, “I wouldn’t have eaten you if we didn’t. I like you.”
The doe smiled a little, “I’m glad.”
Gwendolen took Wendy to her home, which they entered, as was becoming usual, through the basement. There was a spiral staircase the for some reason opened into a closet in Gwendolen’s bedroom. They pushed through coats and winter clothes to get out. Gwendolen led her upstairs to the kitchen.
“Are you hungry right now?” she asked.
Wendy shook her head.
“I’m going to have a salad if you want any.”
Wendy smiled amusedly, “No, thank you.” She sat at the table and watched the rabbit fix her salad and eat. She seemed shyer than earlier. Wendy hoped she hadn’t scared her.
“Is there anything you want to do now?” the doe asked when she had finished.
“You’re my owner. You tell me,” Wendy replied genially.
“Would you, um, hold me in your lap?”
Wendy grinned, “Sure. That sounds nice. You’ll find predators like having prey in our claws.”
Gwendolen laughed nervously. “Yeah, I guess so.”
She led Wendy to the living room and motioned for her to sit on the sofa. Wendy sat down and patted her lap, and Gwendolen delicately sat in it. Wendy wrapped her arms around the doe and pulled her close, hugging her tightly against her chest and belly.
“There you go. Now you’re in your kitty’s claws,” she teased. “Do you like it?”
Gwendolen nodded.
“Should I do anything different?”
Gwendolen was silent for a minute and then asked, “Would you please squeeze my throat?”
Wendy blinked in surprise but then her mouth spread in a wicked grin, “Oh, so you’re that kind of prey, are you? You want to be at your predator’s mercy?” She raised her right hand and gripped Gwendolen’s throat. She gave it a good squeeze, not enough to hurt her but enough to feel like she might actually strangle her.
Gwendolen let out a little cry and her hands went to Wendy’s.
Wendy immediately let her throat go, “Sorry!”
“N-no, you were doing it right. Don’t, um, don’t let me stop you. I want to struggle to get you off and know I can’t.”
Wendy chuckled softly, “Heheh, well, if you insist, mistress.”
She gripped Gwendolen’s throat again and gave it a good squeeze. When Gwendolen grabbed her hand and tried to pull her away, she squeezed harder. The rabbit’s efforts were weak and pathetic; she really was a helpless prey.
However, while she squirmed and struggled, Gwendolen also moaned with pleasure, “Mmmf, oh gods! I can’t! You’re so strong! Nnngah!”
Wendy purred with amused pleasure, “You like this don’t you?” She squeezed the rabbit’s throat a little harder but only for a second. She was right on the line of actually throttling the prey. She traced the fingers of her other hand through the rabbit’s belly fur. “You’re completely helpless,” she breathed in Gwendolen’s ear. “Maybe I should disembowel you, or maybe,” she traced her fingers lower.
“Oh gods! Oh please, yes!” Gwendolen cried.
Wendy giggled, “Heeheehee, oh! You’re a needy bunny, aren’t you. Well then,” she ran her fingers between the rabbit’s thighs and felt her hot labia, already slick with her excitement.
Gwendolen groaned with desperate desire, “Please!”
Wendy teased the moaning rabbit for a few more seconds before she pushed a finger into her hot, juicy vagina. The rabbit’s vagina squeezed her finger as she moaned in pleasure.
“What a tight little pussy,” Wendy teased. “I’d like to fuck you with some of my toys, bunny.”
She curled her finger back, slowly massaging the doe’s G-spot while Gwendolen groaned and gasped in ecstasy. Wendy kept going with her other hand still squeezing the doe’s throat until her hand was soaked in the rabbit’s juices, and Gwendolen was breathing heavily while she let out weak moans and squirmed.
“Have you had enough, bunny?” She asked amusedly.
Gwendolen shook her head and whimpered, “I-I want you to t-take me.”
Still gripping the rabbit by the throat, Wendy pushed her down onto the couch and sat on top of her, her legs straddling the rabbit’s waist. She took the rabbit’s wrists and pushed her arms up over her head, looming over her with a toothy grin.
“Now, what is it you want, my little prey?”
“M-make me yours!” Gwendolen gasped.
“You want me to eat you?” Wendy asked curiously.
The rabbit’s eyes widened, “N-no! I want t-to feel my life in your jaws, but don’t. I don’t want to die!”
Wendy purred, “Okay, I understand. You know, if I was going to eat you, you would hardly feel it at all, just a quick bite to the back of the neck. I don’t try to terrorize my prey or give them a chance to hurt me.”
“I-I thought cats played with their prey.”
“No, we just don’t want them to bite us. It’s hard to get the right hold on a mouse even once you’ve caught them. They’re squirmy. If they wanted to make it quick, they could just give up.” She grinned, “Playing with you is quite fun though, my little prey. Are you sure you want your life in my jaws?”
Gwendolen nodded.
“Alright then.”
Wendy lowered herself, twisting to be perpendicular with Gwendolen’s neck. She opened her jaws and slowly reached them around the rabbit’s throat. She gently squeezed her between her fangs.
“H-harder!” Gwendolen cried.
Wendy purred and squeezed down as hard as she dared. She felt her canines push in behind the rabbit’s trachea and felt her pulsing vessels under her tongue. It would have been a matter of an instant to rip out the rabbit’s throat. However, Gwendolen seemed to enjoy it, squirming and moaning beneath her.
Finally, she asked Wendy to stop, “Okay, my neck is starting to hurt. You can let go, kitty.”
Wendy considered disobeying just to show the rabbit how foolish she was to put her throat in a predator’s jaws, but she decided against it, released the rabbit’s throat, and sat up. However, she still kept her pinned by the arms. “So what does my little owner want to do with me next? I hope the answer is feed me dinner, or I might have to take advantage of this dinner I have in my claws.”
“S-sure, I can feed you. How do you like your bugs?”
“Jason made a patty. I don’t know how he made it, but it had better be tasty, or else.” She grinned down at the rabbit wickedly, who looked quite worried.
“I-I’ll do my best. You wouldn’t really eat me, would you, Wendy?”
“It depends on whether you do a good job taking care of me like you promised, but if you don’t think you’re up to the task, I might have another solution.”
“L-like what?”
Wendy grinned, “Well, how about you become my pet?”
“Your pet? What do you mean?” Gwendolen asked nervously.
“I mean I could take you home with me, and I’d keep you as my pet. You would be safe, don’t worry, and you wouldn’t have to worry about getting bugs or how to fix them.”
“B-but you would, um, eat prey then, wouldn’t you?”
Wendy nodded. “You would be safe though, and I won’t eat any of your family if I could help it.”
“I-I don’t think…it wouldn’t be right to let you go if you’ll eat prey,” Gwendolen replied uncomfortably.
“But you want to be mine,” Wendy coaxed. “We would have so much fun together. You know you want to be my little toy. You know you want to squirm for me and know that you belong to me forever.”
Gwendolen seemed conflicted, but then she shook her head. “No, I want you to belong to me and do what I want. I’ve been having fun being in your claws, but that’s because I know you’re mine. I know that you have to obey me, so even when your jaws are around my throat, you belong to me.”
Wendy’s smile fell. This was all a game. The power the rabbit had let her feel was for her amusement, a mockery of Wendy’s former status as a predator. She was a toy, and she hadn’t been dominating the doe, merely getting her off. She’d been fulfilling her owner’s fetishistic desires by pretending she was still a predator, but she was nothing more than an obedient pet. She let go of the rabbit’s arms and sat up, looking down at her uncomfortably.
“Don’t be upset, Wendy,” Gwendolen soothed. “You did a really good job! I had a lot of fun! I’m glad I decided to take you, and I meant it when I said I’d take good care of you. I know you haven’t been a pet long, and it’s probably hard to accept. But it won’t be too hard. You’ll get used to eating bugs and to being a good kitty. You’ll get used to someone else being in control.” The doe wriggled out from under her and got up onto her haunches. She smiled and petted Wendy on the head, “And after dinner, maybe I can show you the other side of things, what it’s like when a bunny is on top!”
Wendy nodded but felt like she’d like to cry. She’d felt like a predator again, and it had felt right! She would have been kind to the rabbit, so why hadn’t she agreed to an arrangement that would have been best for both of them? Why wouldn’t she let her take her home where they would both be happy?
Gwendolen let Wendy fix the bugs for herself while she prepared a salad. Wendy tried to replicate what Jason had done, but it didn’t turn out quite right. She ate the bugs without complaint. Maybe she could ask Gwendolen to visit Jason soon so that she could get some pointers. She glanced at the rabbit happily munching her salad; Wendy’s life was in her paws now. She’d chosen the person she would belong to for the rest of her life. Hopefully, she had made a good choice. I could always eat her, Wendy told herself, but she knew it wasn’t true, not unless she was willing to accept she’d never see Jason again. In a way, the rabbit’s were holding her brother hostage, not by force but by his affection for Ellie. Wendy was forced to obey because she would lose him if she did not; she had no choice but to be an obedient pet.
When they had eaten Gwendolen took her leash and tugged Wendy toward the stairs, “Come on, kitty. I want to have more fun with my new pet.” The rabbit led her into the bedroom and gestured toward the bed. “Lie down. I want to tie you up so I can have my way with you.”
“I-I would rather not,” Wendy mewed uncomfortably. “Could we do that another day, maybe?”
Gwendolen regarded her with a slight frown, “What do you want to do then?”
“Would you, um, brush me?” Wendy asked meekly.
Gwendolen’s mouth spread in a soft smile, “If that’s what my kitty wants. Lie down, and I’ll get my brush.”
Wendy lay on her belly on the bed, and Gwendolen fetched her brush. The doe climbed up beside her and stroked the soft-bristled brush down her back. As the rabbit brushed her, Wendy gradually began to relax and finally to purr. The brush felt good, and Gwendolen was very careful not to hurt her as she bushed her head and cheeks.
“That’s better,” Gwendolen breathed. “That’s a good kitty. You don’t have to be scared, Wendy. I won’t hurt you.” She petted Wendy’s head and then leaned down to kiss her between the ears.
Wendy glanced up at the doe awkwardly. It felt strange to be comforted by the prey, but on the other hand, she needed it. She needed to be able to trust this rabbit she belonged to.
“May I tie you up now?” Gwendolen asked softly.
Wendy stiffened nervously, but then she nodded. She would try to trust the doe. It was frightening, but she would try to be brave.
“Thank you. Roll over on your back.”
Wendy complied, and Gwendolen got a coil of rope out of her closet. She instructed Wendy to raise her arms over her head and began by tying one wrist. Then she wrapped the rope around a bedpost and crossed behind the headboard to the bedpost on the other side. She twisted the rope around the second bedpost and then tied Wendy’s other wrist. She tied Wendy’s legs to the feet at the end of the bed in a similar manner. When she was done, Wendy wasn’t quite pulled taut, but she couldn’t move much at all except for her tail, which thrashed anxiously. She did her best to press her anxiety down, but her tail wouldn’t listen.
Gwendolen climbed up on the bed beside her and ran her fingers through Wendy’s belly fur. “That’s a good kitty. You’re completely helpless now, aren’t you?” Gwendolen crooned. “Your sensitive tummy and even your throat,” she ran her hand up to Wendy’s neck and gave her throat a firm squeeze, nothing that really choked her but enough for Wendy to know she could. “Are all exposed and at my mercy. What should I do with you now, hmm?”
Wendy swallowed nervously, trying not to strain futilely at her bonds. “P-please, Gwen, I-I’m trying to trust you. Can you, um, go easy on me? When you say things like that, it makes me nervous.”
Gwendolen’s mouth spread in a grin, “Nervous? Does it really? Well, that’s because it’s true. You’re my helpless kitty now, and I can do whatever I want with you.”
“Y-you’re not going to hurt me though!” Wendy protested.
“I don’t know. Hurting you might be fun. I won’t damage you if that’s what you mean. You’re my toy, and I plan to keep you around to play with for the rest of my life,” the rabbit replied unconcernedly.
“Please don’t!” Wendy cried, and she couldn’t stop herself from pulling at the ropes though they dug into her wrists. “I-I want to trust you! I want to feel safe! I-I’ll be your pet, but please be gentle with me!”
“Being at my mercy means accepting you might get hurt,” Gwendolen rejoined. “If I promised to only be gentle with you, you wouldn’t really be mine. You wanted to be my pet. If you wanted to be worked like a slave, you should have picked Daisy, but making a pretty kitty like you do chores is a waste. I want you to be my kitty toy; I want to have fun with you however I like. Maybe I’ll make you squirm and struggle. Maybe I’ll make you moan with pleasure. It’s up to me.”
“N-no,” Wendy whimpered. “Please!”
“We’ll start off slow,” Gwendolen allowed. “We have hours to break you in. By the end, you’ll understand what it means to be my toy.”
Wendy groaned and pulled against the ropes, desperate to be free, to be anywhere but here under this rabbit’s paw.
“Shh,” Gwendolen soothed.
She went back to running her fingers through Wendy’s belly fur. One hand traced lower until her fingers ran between Wendy’s thighs, causing her to whine and squirm.
“Why are you so afraid, kitty?” Gwendolen soothed. “I haven’t hurt you. Is it really so scary to be at a bunny’s mercy?”
“I don’t, I don’t want to be!” Wendy cried. “I’m supposed to be the predator! I don’t want to be helpless!”
“You need to forget about being a predator. You’re my pet,” the doe replied calmly.
“I don’t want to!”
Gwendolen sighed, “You’re scared because you’re in denial, Wendy. You need to accept that you belong to me now. It won’t be so hard to be my toy, but you have to accept that I can do what I want with you. Don’t deny it; don’t tell yourself you’re really a predator, that you could be free. Accept you’re my toy and let things happen. It will be easy if you just accept it.”
“I won’t!” Wendy cried. It wasn’t a defiant cry; it was desperate and pathetic. She knew she was helpless, but she couldn’t accept it. She couldn’t give up being a predator; it was what she was! What was she if she wasn’t? How could she accept being a little prey’s toy, having no say in her own life?
Gwendolen caressed her cheek. “We’ll take our time. I’ll make you feel good, Wendy. You’ll see it’s nice to be my toy.”
***
Jason and Ellie made their way to the community garden for their afternoon shift. As usual, Jason wore a muzzle and gloves to put the other prey at ease. Ellie agreed he didn’t really need them, but she also seemed to enjoy putting the muzzle on him and sometimes made him wear it at home for her titillation. Jason didn’t mind; he lived his life for his beloved bunny owner. If she wanted to tease him, he accepted it blissfully.
When they arrived, Jason was surprised to see Gwendolen and Wendy were also working at the garden this afternoon. Wendy also wore a muzzle and gloves as well as a collar and leash, which was held securely in Gwen’s hand. She seemed to be reluctantly helping as Gwen instructed her, but she was obviously uncomfortable, casting glances at prey and keeping her ears back and tail between her legs. Ellie led Jason toward the pair.
“Hi Gwen!” she called.
Her sister looked up, “Ellie! I didn’t know you were on this afternoon.”
Wendy nervously looked toward them, but when her green eyes fell on Jason, her ears pricked up, “Jason! I’ve missed you so much!” she yowled.
She rushed toward him but came to the end of her leash and jerked back with a whimper. Jason hurried to her and hugged her tightly, rubbing his cheek on her ear with a purr. Wendy hugged him back and purred.
“How have you been, Wendy?” Jason murmured. “Have things been going okay with Gwen?”
Wendy sniffled and shook her head slightly, hugging him tighter.
“What’s wrong?! She hasn’t been hurting you, has she?” Jason hissed anxiously in her ear.
Wendy shook her head again, “I don’t… I can’t, not here,” she whined.
Jason glanced at Ellie, “Wendy needs some water. Can I escort her?” he meowed. He felt awkward about the fib to his owner, but he was worried about his sister.
“She’ll get water when we get home,” Gwendolen dismissed. “We’re almost done.”
Ellie called to him, “Come on, kitty. We need to get started and let Gwen and Wendy finish their shift.”
Jason obediently broke away from his sister, but he glanced back at her worriedly as he went. The silver tabby watched him desperately, and his stomach sank. He needed to help her, but how? They both belonged to the rabbits now. He could ask Ellie to check in on her, but would she tell her sister how to tend to her pet? Would Gwendolen listen if she did?
Jason didn’t see when Wendy and Gwendolen left, but they were gone by the time he and Ellie finished their shift. His sister’s desperate expression was burned into his mind. As he and Ellie made their way home through the forest, he made up his mind to say something.
“Wendy, um, seemed anxious,” meowed.
“Did she?” Ellie returned unconcernedly. “She’s probably still getting used to being a pet.” She glanced at him with a warm smile, “Not every kitty takes to it as well as you, Sweetie.”
“I, um, think we should check in, just to make sure things are going okay,” he pressed.
“Gwen would have mentioned it if she was having trouble with her,” Ellie returned.
Jason stopped, and after a couple steps, Ellie turned to look back at him.
“Please, Ellie,” he begged. “I need to make sure she’s okay.”
Ellie sighed. “If you need to. I don’t want you to be anxious about it. I’m sure Gwen is taking good care of her though.”
“Thank you, Ellie,” he mewed in relief. “Can we go now?”
“We don’t even know if they’re home now,” Ellie pointed out. “But if it will put your mind at ease, we’ll try.”
Ellie changed course, and Jason followed her. After a few minutes, they came to the entrance to a burrow. It was too small for Jason to enter, and Ellie motioned for him to wait.
“I’ll just check whether they’re home and it’s a good time,” she mollified.
Ellie darted down the hole, and Jason waited anxiously. It was several minutes before Ellie re-emerged.
“She, uh, said we can come in, but I don’t think it’s a good time,” Ellie told him awkwardly. “Let’s come back tomorrow.”
“Please, Ellie,” Jason begged. “I need to talk to Wendy.”
“She’s, um, a little indisposed right now.”
“Wh-what do you mean?” Jason asked nervously. “You said Gwendolen said we could come in, so-“
“Alright! We’ll go in!” Ellie cut him off. “Just, just try not to overreact.”
Jason felt a heavy stone in his belly as Ellie showed him around back and through the tunnels to Gwendolen’s burrow. She pushed a buzzer next to the heavy metal door, and after a moment, the brown and white doe appeared.
“Come in!” Gwendolen piped excitedly. “I’ve been wanting to show you, Ellie!” The doe gave Jason a glance with a smirk, “Maybe you’ll get some ideas, and you can tell me if you’ve thought up anything different.”
Jason followed the does up the ladder and stairs in confusion, but as they stepped into the living room, his heart leapt into his throat and he let out a yowl of horror. In the middle of the room was Wendy. His sister was strapped down to a low table with her wrists and ankles cuffed. Her head was encased in a box with an oval hole in the top and a chair back on the neck side. Eight metal clamps were attached to her belly and wires led to an ominous black box. A red LED on the box flashed, and Wendy let out a cry, muffled by the ball-gag in her mouth. An arm at the far end of the table held a vibrating wand pressed to his sister’s genitals. Wendy squirmed and whimpered until another flash from the black box elicited another cry.
Oblivious to Jason’s horror or unconcerned, Gwendolen turned to Ellie with a toothy grin. “What do you think? Do you want to give it a try? Would you like to sit or tickle her feet?” Gwendolen picked up a bluejay feather off the coffee table. “I can only do one by myself, for now. Does your kitty have ticklish paws too?”
“I, uh, actually haven’t tried that yet,” Ellie replied embarrassedly.
Gwendolen looked at her in surprise, “Really? I assumed you would have tried just about everything by now!”
Ellie glanced at him uncomfortably, “We, um, don’t usually get too extreme. I mean, Jason likes to be bullied a bit, but I don’t think he’d be into this.”
Gwendolen gave her a funny look, “So? He’s a pet, isn’t he? It’s fun to make your kitty squirm!” The doe glanced back at Wendy and turned back to Ellie with a grin, “Just look at how much fun she’s having!”
“Sh-she isn’t having fun!” Jason yowled in distress. “W-Wendy isn’t into stuff like this! She’s not a masochist!”
Gwendolen glanced at him but then looked back to Ellie, “We can put your kitty on it for a while if you prefer,” she offered.
Ellie shook her head, “Don’t you think this is going too far, Gwen? When I gave her to you, I didn’t think you would torture her!”
Gwendolen shrugged, “A toy should be prepared to squirm for her owner. You’d be surprised how docile a predator becomes when they truly understand who’s in charge. She wasn’t tame at all when you gave her to me. Now, she’s very obedient and demure because she knows this can go all night if I want it to.” She paused and shrugged, “Well, the batteries on the wand would probably run out, but you get the point: she knows who she belongs to.”
“I guess I can’t tell you how to treat your pet,” Ellie murmured uncomfortably. “But I, um, think we should go now.” She gave him a quick, uncomfortable glance. “We’re not into this kind of thing.”
“I-I’ll let you put me on the table!” Jason interjected. “Just, just give Wendy a break! I’ll stay here with Gwendolen if you take Wendy home with you Ellie.”
This time, Gwendolen gave him a longer, more appraising look. “I don’t mind trading kitties for a while. It might be fun to play with a tom.”
“Jason it mine!” Ellie snapped. “I’m not letting you torment him!”
Gwendolen frowned, “I wasn’t the one who suggested it. Don’t yell at me,” she replied sullenly. “Keep better control of your toy if you don’t like his input.”
“Please, Ellie!” Jason begged desperately. “I’ll be okay. You need to help Wendy!”
“I’m not letting her torture you, Jason!” Ellie rejoined.
“We have to do something!” Jason pleaded. “What, what if we just take Wendy back?”
Gwendolen snorted derisively, “She’s mine! Actually, I think you both should leave. I’m not going to be judged in my own home!”
Jason stared at Ellie pleadingly, and the doe’s brown eyes looked back into his worriedly.
Finally, she sighed resignedly, “You know I can’t say no when you look at me with those big kitten eyes, Jason. Okay, let Wendy up.”
Filled with relief, Jason stepped toward his sister, but Gwendolen darted in front of him.
“Get out!” she squeaked angrily. “She belongs to me! You can’t take her!”
“Have the papers to prove that, do you?” Ellie asked nonchalantly.
“What? Papers?! You gave her to me! You didn’t give me any papers!”
“Then you’ll agree that what was illegally given and be taken in the same manner,” Ellie rejoined.
“Do you have papers?!” Gwendolen protested.
Ellie shrugged, “No.”
“Then you can’t have her!”
“Jason wants his sister back, and I can’t leave her here knowing my kitty will be upset.”
“Who cares?! Your toy is your problem!”
“You’re the one standing between him and his sister,” Ellie noted.
Gwendolen eyed him nervously and took a step back, “I-isn’t he tame either?”
“Jason is completely tame, but that doesn’t mean he can’t hold you while I let Wendy up.”
With Ellie’s permission tacitly given, Jason pounced and grabbed Gwendolen by the arms.
“L-let me go!” Gwendolen cried.
Jason almost obeyed the rabbit—he really was a tame kitty after all—but he kept ahold of her. He watched in relief whilst Ellie unstrapped Wendy and unlocked the cuffs with the keys on the coffee table. As soon as Wendy was released she sprang up and tore the clamps off her belly with a sob. Her trembling hands struggled with the buckle on the ball-gag.
“Let me get that, Wendy,” Ellie soothed.
She carefully undid the buckle and pulled the ball-gag out of Wendy’s mouth. Then she took her hand and helped her stand on wobbly legs. Wendy grabbed Ellie in a tight hug and sobbed again.
“Th-thank you, Ellie,” she whimpered. “I-I couldn’t.”
“Shh, I’m sorry, kitty. I didn’t mean for this to happen.” Ellie gave Gwendolen a judgmental glance, “I didn’t know Gwen was such a sadist!”
“How can you take a predator’s side?!” Gwendolen shouted. “I never injured her! Who knows how many prey she’s disemboweled?!”
“I don’t necessarily disagree,” Ellie admitted. “I don’t think you did anything undeserved. But she’s Jason’s sister, and I promised him I wouldn’t give her to someone who would treat her cruelly. If she were another predator,” Ellie shrugged. “Maybe I would have tickled her feet.” She slipped out of Wendy’s hug and tugged her toward the stairs, “Come on, Wendy.”
“Don’t you dare go with her!” Gwendolen commanded, still held by the arms. “Tell my stupid sister that you know who you belong to!”
Wendy glared at Gwendolen hatefully, “Can I please eat her, Ellie?”
“No, she’s my sister after all,” Ellie replied. “If she were another prey, well, the answer would probably still be no, but I’d consider it.” She glanced at Jason, “Hold her a minute so that she doesn’t try to stop us, and then you can follow us.”
Ellie led Wendy down the stairs. Gwendolen watched them go angrily, but then she looked up at Jason. Her expression softened.
“You know, you can choose to stay with me, kitty. Maybe your sister couldn’t take it, but you’d like being my toy,” she coaxed.
Jason glanced at the torture table, and his heart skipped a beat. “M-maybe some other time. I need to look after Wendy now,” he mewed embarrassedly.
Gwendolen smirked, “Don’t wait too long.”
Jason let the doe go and hurried after Wendy and Ellie.
Ellie led them home and led Wendy by the hand to the couch. The rabbit sat down and patted her lap. “Rest your head, Wendy, and I’ll pet you.”
Wendy glanced at Jason embarrassedly, and he nodded to let her know he didn’t mind. She lay on the couch and laid her head in Ellie’s lap. Ellie petted her head and massaged her cheek, and Wendy closed her eyes. Before long, she was purring. Ellie looked up at Jason with a happy smile, and he smiled back. Wendy was safe now.
***
Wendy was awoken by the smell of bug patties wafting from the kitchen. She had been living with Jason and Ellie for the past two weeks since they rescued her from Ellie’s cruel sister, and she had gotten used to sleeping on the couch. While Gwendolen’s bed may have been more comfortable, it hadn’t been while her arms and legs were tied to the corners. The rabbit had liked to lie on top of her while she was tied, and when she was feeling horny during the night, she would stroke her foot between Wendy’s legs. Wendy was trying to forget her abuse at the doe’s hands, but she didn’t know if she would ever be able to.
Since returning to Ellie’s burrow, Ellie had been very gentle with her. They exchanged pets and brushings, but the rabbit hadn’t so much as put a foot in Wendy’s face. Wendy wasn’t sure she wanted to admit it, but she was a little jealous of the intimacy Jason shared with the doe. She didn’t know what Ellie and Jason got up to, but she never heard Jason crying in pain, which was promising compared to her experience with Gwendolen.
Wendy folded up her blankets and headed out to the kitchen where Jason and Ellie were just sitting down to eat. She scooped a bug patty onto a plate and sat next to her brother. She leaned over and nuzzled his cheek in greeting.
“Good morning, Jason,” she meowed.
Jason nuzzled her ear in return, “Good morning, Wendy.”
“If you’re always so sweet together, I’m going to get jealous,” Ellie teased.
Wendy tittered, “Heehee, if you want, you can sit in my lap, Ellie,” she offered teasingly.
Ellie eyed her a moment and then slipped under the table and crawled up into Wendy’s lap, wiggling back until her fuzzy scut was pressed against Wendy’s belly. Wendy was a little surprised, but she nuzzled the top of Ellie’s head.
“Good morning, Ellie.”
Ellie pulled her salad across the table and went back to munching. Wendy eyed the rabbit in her lap with amusement and then started eating her own meal.
“We have a shift in the garden today,” Ellie noted when they had finished eating. “Will you be alright helping today, Wendy?”
“As long as I’m with you and Jason, I’m fine,” Wendy stated. She still didn’t like the looks she got from prey, but she could ignore them with her brother and Ellie by her side.
Ellie put on their muzzles and gloves, and they made their way through the woods to the garden. Wendy walked close behind the couple, who walked hand-in-hand. However, she froze when as they approached the garden: Gwendolen was here!
Gwendolen looked up and spotted the three of them. She began to hop in their direction, and Wendy’s heart leapt into her throat! Would she make a scene? What if the other prey sided with her?! Would she be forced to go back with the cruel doe?!
However, Gwendolen seemed to ignore her. She stopped directly in front of Jason. “I’ve been waiting, kitty!” the doe complained. “When are you coming over so that we can play?”
Jason’s tail thrashed embarrassedly, and Wendy watched it in confusion. He didn’t want to be tortured by the cruel doe, did he?!
“Uh, never,” Ellie replied. “I think I was clear before.”
Gwendolen reached out and ran her fingers up through Jason’s chest fur, which caused his tail to thrash faster. “Aww, but he wants to,” Gwendolen crooned. “You’re not hard enough on him. He wants to experience what really being a toy is like. I promise I won’t damage him.”
“I, uh, did say I would,” Jason admitted embarrassedly.
“When you were trying to take Wendy’s place. That doesn’t count,” Ellie returned.
Jason shook his head bashfully, “After, I, um, would like to try it, as long as you’ll come get me later.”
Gwendolen grinned toothily, and Ellie stared at Jason disconcertedly. Wendy felt sick with dread.
“D-don’t do it, Jason!” she mewed anxiously. “I don’t want you to be hurt!”
“What your sister said! Besides, you’re my toy! I don’t have to let Gwen play with you.”
Gwendolen crossed here arms grumpily, “It’s only fair that you share since you took my toy! Should I bring that up with the Council?”
“She never legally belonged to you!” Ellie rejoined.
“Does she legally belong to you?” Gwendolen returned. “Plus, she threatened to eat me! Maybe a dangerous predator like that should be put down!”
“You wouldn’t dare,” Ellie growled.
“You wanna bet?” Gwendolen shot back.
“I-I’m willing to play with her, Ellie! I have to if it will keep Wendy safe!” Jason meowed anxiously.
“No, you don’t, Jason. She’s bluffing,” Ellie replied.
“Just one night per month,” Gwendolen coaxed slipperily. “I’ll give him back in one piece, promise.”
“Tomorrow,” Ellie returned.
Wendy started in horror. She didn’t expect Ellie to give up.
“Tomorrow,” Gwendolen agreed with satisfaction. “Bring him over first thing. You can pick him up the next day.”
“Fine. Now, we need to do our shift,” Ellie replied curtly.
Gwendolen went back to her own work, and the three of them got started on theirs. However, Wendy’s heart was heavy with dread. This was her fault. If she hadn’t threatened the doe, they wouldn’t be in this trouble now.
“I-I should be the one to go,” she whispered nervously.
“Absolutely not,” Ellie replied. In a whisper she added, “Neither of you are going. I know how to solve this.”
“But what if she says Wendy’s dangerous?!” Jason hissed under his breath.
“That will be my responsibility. We’ll discuss this when we get home,” Ellie whispered.
They finished their shift, and Ellie led them home at a trot. Wendy wasn’t sure what the rush was.
“Stay here!” Ellie instructed when they entered the cellar.
She scrambled up the ladder. Wendy glanced at Jason questioningly, and he shrugged. A few minutes later, Ellie climbed back down the ladder wearing her black cloak. She removed their muzzles and gloves. Then she opened the safe and grabbed a few gold coins, shoving them in her pocket.
“Let’s go! I hope the Count will be able to see us!” the rabbit declared.
“The Count?” Wendy mewed in confusion.
“We’re going to fill out a contract to make you legally my pet! Then Gwendolen can shove it!”
“How will that help if she says Wendy is dangerous?” Jason asked worriedly.
“Because I will be punished for allowing my pet to threaten her. Gwen won’t dare raise a stink if she knows her sister’s freedom is on the line.”
“Are you sure?” Jason pressed.
“Yes! She’s not a psycho!”
Wendy wasn’t sure that was true, but she simply asked, “How does it work?”
“The Count will write up a contract, and we both need to sign it,” Ellie explained.
“And that makes it legal?”
“Yes.”
“And right now it’s illegal?”
“Technically.”
“And what would happen if I told the Count you had been keeping me illegally?”
Ellie stared at her a moment, “He’d likely kill me on the spot and have me for dinner,” she answered flatly.
“Oh.” Wendy stared back at the rabbit awkwardly. “So, um, this is kind of risky then.”
“Not if you stick to the story,” Ellie replied.
“What makes you think I will?”
“The same thing that’s keeping you from trying to rip my throat out right now: Jason. He’s my accomplice even; he’d be executed too.”
Wendy blanched, “I-I wasn’t going to try to get you in trouble! I just wondered why you would put yourself at risk for me.”
“You’re Jason’s sister. Besides, I don’t want Gwen putting her hands on my kitty!”
Jason’s tail flipped embarrassedly. Wendy nodded uncomfortably. This was still all her fault. Whatever plan Ellie had to fix things, she would go along with.
Ellie led them through the woods and around the predator town. Wendy noticed the few predators they passed giving them surprised looks, but she tried to ignore them. She didn’t want to talk to anyone about being a rabbit’s pet. Talking to the Count would be bad enough!
They reached the Count’s manor. Ellie pounded on the door. After a moment it was flung open, and the three of them were roughly seized by a pair of burly badger guards! Their arms were wrenched behind their backs and handcuffs were slapped on them! One badger threw Ellie over her shoulder, and the other prodded the cats toward the stairs.
“The Count wants a word with you,” he growled.
The three of them were deposited on the stone floor of an ornately decorated room. Wendy didn’t have much interest in the rugs and tapestries though. She stared nervously at the handsome red fox who lazily stood from the large desk and plodded around to stand over them grimly.
He gave the badgers a sharp look, “Didn’t I tell you to be gentle with the queen? That’s no way to treat someone who’s been abducted!”
The badgers shuffled their feet, “S-sorry, Your Lordship, it’s, uh, hard to tell with cats,” the male badger mumbled.
“The one without balls!” the tod snapped. He bent down gracefully, his bushy red-orange tail sweeping out behind him, and graciously offered her a paw. “Let me help you up, Miss.”
Wendy bashfully took the Count’s hand, and the strong tod pulled her to her feet effortlessly. His paw pads were rough with calluses, which Wendy noted curiously until he drew his rapier, tucking her against his chest with his other arm.
He pointed the blade at Ellie and Jason, “Any last words, villains?”
“W-wait!” Wendy cried. “They’re not, don’t hurt them, please!”
The tod gave her what may have been meant as a comforting squeeze, “You’re safe from these blackguards, Miss! No more harm will befall you.”
“Th-they haven’t harmed me! I don’t want you to hurt them, please!”
The tod stared at her probingly, “You were reported missing over a month ago, Miss. Are you telling me these aren’t the villains who took you? They match the descriptions perfectly.”
“N-no, I mean, yes, I mean, I went with them willingly! I was visiting my brother!”
The tod stared at her in confusion, “Your…brother?”
Wendy nodded and looked at Jason, “Jason, the tom, is my brother. I was visiting him and his, um, owner. No one forced me to.”
“For an entire month, without telling anyone where you were going?” he pressed skeptically.
“It was a, um, spur of the moment thing. E-Ellie has been very accommodating.”
“For an entire month,” the tod repeated.
“That, um, Ellie was-“
“Th-that’s why we came to see you, Your Lordship!” Ellie interjected. “Wendy enjoyed living with us so much, that she wants to make it permanent!”
“R-right!” Wendy quickly agreed. “I, um, I’ve seen what a kind owner Ellie is, and I dearly love my brother. I want to be Ellie’s pet too so that we can all be together!”
The tod snorted. Then he guffawed. Then he broke into a roaring laugh. “Ahahahaha, ahaha, ahahahahaha! You want to be a rabbit’s pet too?! What did your parents teach you?! There can’t be more than one freak like that in a family!”
Wendy blushed hot, feeling humiliated. “N-no, Your Lordship. I, um, don’t truly wish to be a pet, but I, um, my brother. I love him very dearly. I couldn’t live without him, Your Lordship.”
The tod grinned down at her toothily, “Is that so? Perhaps you have another unnatural attraction, my dear.”
“I, I’m sure I don’t know what you mean, Your Lordship,” Wendy replied demurely, still blushing furiously.
“Don’t you?” the tod drawled. “Well, if you’re so certain about being a rabbit’s pet, come back tomorrow, and I’ll have the contract ready.”
“W-we really need it tonight, Your Lordship!” Ellie interjected again.
The Count eyed the rabbit suspiciously, “And why is that?”
“There, um, we’re worried about some family issues, Your Lordship. That’s why we need to make it official.”
“Afraid her family will take matters into their own hands?” the Count surmised. “I wouldn’t be pleased is a daughter of mine wanted to throw away her life to serve a rabbit. Of course, foxes aren’t insane. That’s a cat thing, I suspect.”
“V-very true, Your Lordship,” Ellie agreed. “Kitties are very, very silly predators. That’s what makes them such wonderful pets.”
The Count chuckled, “If you say so, Miss. However, I have a solution for you. You’ll be safe for the night in the dungeon! Guards, take those two down and toss them in a cell!” He grinned at Wendy, “We have more to discuss, my dear.”
The badgers seized Ellie and Jason and hauled them back out of the room. Wendy watched them go worriedly.
“You’re not going to hurt them, are you, Your Lordship?”
The tod grinned slyly, “Now why would you think that? I said this was for their safety, did I not?”
“O-of course, Your Lordship. For their safety. W-what about me?”
The fox grinned toothily, “I’d appreciate it if you’d join me for dinner, my dear. Then we can discuss your prospects,” he said silkily.
“Th-that’s very kind of you, Your Lordship.”
The tod gallantly offered her his hand, “This way, my dear, dinner will be served shortly.”
Wendy bashfully took the handsome tod’s hand and allowed him to lead her through the manor. He was significantly older than her but nevertheless charming. However, Wendy knew the Count had a family, so whatever his intentions toward her were, marriage was out of the question.
The tod led her to a sitting room and sat her on an embroidered sofa. A ferret in a black coat with long tails served them skewers with vegetables and organ meats as an appetizer. Wendy scarfed down the meat a little more eagerly than was strictly polite, but the Count smiled at her indulgently and sent the ferret to bring her more. She may have gotten used to eating bugs, but they simply didn’t compare to proper prey! Ellie would have scolded her, but the rabbit wasn’t here. If this was the last time she was going to eat prey, she was going to dig in!
After Wendy devoured her second skewer, the ferret informed them dinner was served. The Count offered his hand to help her up, and Wendy indulged his chivalry. He led her to the dining room where a vixen and five fox kits were seated at a long, oaken table. The Count smiled at the Countess as he sat at the head of the table. Wendy eyed the vixen nervously across the table as she sat.
“Who might this be, Wilhelm?” the vixen asked her husband pointedly.
“This is our abductee, Marian, the one who disappeared a month ago.”
The vixen’s expression softened sympathetically as she looked at Wendy, “Poor thing! I can’t imagine what you’ve been through, sweetie!”
“I’m also curious to hear more about that,” the Count said. “She’s been a bit taciturn so far.”
“Don’t rush her, Wilhelm! She’ll tell us when she’s ready!” the Countess implored him.
“Unfortunately, we don’t have much time, dear. She insists she’s going back with her captors tomorrow.”
“What?!” the vixen yelped. “Wilhelm! Don’t let her!”
“I can’t very well hold her against her will, but I was hoping we might be able to offer her better prospects. Perhaps you could use another lady-in-waiting, dear.”
“If she doesn’t have anywhere else to go, then I’ll gladly take her under my wing,” the vixen agreed.
“Th-that’s very kind of you, Your Ladyship,” Wendy murmured bashfully.
“Then it’s settled!” the Countess declared.
“B-but I really do want to go back with my brother. I, um, wasn’t really abducted.”
The vixen frowned, “Of course you were. I’ve seen the posters in town. We even have a few outside the manor.”
Wendy shook her head uncomfortably, “It was my choice, Your Ladyship. I, um, my brother is very dear to me. If he, if he’s going to live with a rabbit, then I can too.”
The Countess goggled at her, “‘Live with a rabbit?’ What nonsense!”
“Her brother is the cat I told you about who wanted to belong to a rabbit, Marian,” the tod stated. “Our guest thinks she’d like to be the rabbit’s ‘pet’ too.”
“What utter foolishness!” the vixen declared haughtily. “Wilhelm, you must allow me to put some sense into her!”
“I’d love to, dear, but keep in mind you only have a day or two. I really can’t hold the others in the dungeon if they’ve actually done nothing wrong.”
“What ‘others’?” the vixen probed.
“Our guest’s brother and the rabbit in question.”
“We have the rabbit here?!” the vixen yelped in surprise. “Bring it up here, and I’ll wring its neck! That will put an end to all of this!”
“Now, Marian,” the Count scolded patronizingly. “We can’t kill prey who come here as petitioners. What kind of message would that send?”
“I think we can make an exception in this case!” the vixen returned.
“I-I don’t want her to be harmed!” Wendy protested anxiously. “Please, Your Ladyship! E-Ellie is a friend.”
The vixen gave her a severe look, “She’s prey. In fact,” paused and raised her hands to give two sharp claps.
Serving staff rushed into the dining room and whisked away barely touched soup. One of the kits stared at the empty space in front of him in confusion with his spoon still raised.
An otter wheeled a cart with two roasts over to the table, “We have your choice of pheasant and rabbit tonight, Your Lord and Ladyships,” she stated dutifully.
“I’ll have the rabbit, and so will our guest,” the Countess decreed, eyeing Wendy dangerously as if daring her to contradict her.
“I-it’s one of my favorites, Your Ladyship,” Wendy mewed meekly.
“I’d like the pheasant tonight, Gertrude,” the Count answered nonchalantly.
Wendy ate the proffered rabbit and only felt a little bit guilty. She’d never know if this was someone she’d seen before at the community garden, but she didn’t much care. The prey had given her such judgmental looks, but this was their place: on her plate! Her only source of guilt was the scolding she knew Ellie would give her. She was supposed to be tame; she was supposed to eat bugs. Wendy took a bite of the rabbit meat with relish: she hated bugs! Why did she want to go through with this anyway? She was a predator, not some prey’s pet!
I’d never see Jason again. She brushed away the thought. Was Jason really worth giving all this up for? He was sweet, but he was also crazy. He’d truly been brainwashed by that prey. If she wanted, she could spin this so that Ellie would be disposed of. Perhaps Jason would go to prison, but she could visit him.
She imagined turning Ellie over to the Countess, the vixen’s strong hands reaching for the rabbit’s delicate neck! The thought made her sick to her stomach. She couldn’t have Ellie killed! Jason would hate her, and besides, the rabbit had been kind to her. Just this morning, she been sitting in Wendy’s lap. Ellie cared for her and trusted her. They were only in this situation now because Wendy had been too much of a predator for her own good. She couldn’t sell the rabbit out to the Countess!
Wendy finished her meal but felt more than a little guilty about it. She would have to confess what she’d done when she was with Ellie again. If the doe decided she needed to be punished, she would accept it. She wasn’t behaving how a good pet should.
There was peach cobbler for dessert, which Wendy declined on account of cats being unable to appreciate sweet things. When the kits were finished, the Countess dismissed them, and they raced out of the room with an otter in a frilly maid’s uniform waddling quickly after them.
The vixen stood, “Come with me, kitty,” she commanded. Her tone was warm, but there was an underlying hardness that invited no argument.
Wendy stood and followed the vixen meekly. Aside from being the Count’s wife and a noble lady in her own right, the Countess was at least twice Wendy’s size. She wore a sky blue gown trimmed with while lace, and the bushy tip of her tail bounced under the long skirt as she strutted through the manor. The vixen led Wendy up to a bedroom, which held a bed with a pink canopy, a dresser and mirror, and the other expected articles of someone’s bedroom, and shut the door.
The Countess turned toward the mirror, “Would you unzip me, dear?”
Wendy eyed the back of the vixen’s gown a moment before nervously stepping up behind the vixen and pulling the little zipper. The vixen shifted her arms, and the dress crumpled onto the floor around her paws. Despite the fact she wasn’t wearing clothes and few people did, the act of undressing the Countess seemed lewd in some way. Wendy stepped back but could help notice the vixen’s curvaceous hips, plump tummy, and rear. The vixen turned toward Wendy with a sly smile and began to stalk quickly toward her. Wendy hurried back nervously until she collided with the bed and tumbled onto it on her back. The vixen pounced and pinned her by the arms, climbing up onto the bed to loom over her with a superior grin. Wendy could feel one of the vixen’s legs between her thighs, and her tail whacked it as it thrashed agitatedly.
The vixen lowered herself until her breath was hot on Wendy’s cheek, “Now, why don’t you tell me what really happened?”
The truth spilled out of her. She told the Countess about finding Jason with Ellie and about her decision to go with them. It had been her decision even if she’d hoped it would make Jason see reason! She told her about about her abuse at the hands of Gwendolen and about being rescued. She explained why they needed to make this official. It was all her fault! She couldn’t put Jason and Ellie at risk for her sake.
When she was done, the vixen stood, looking satisfied, “That should be enough to hang the them,” she concluded.
“Please no!” Wendy cried. “Th-this is my fault! I don’t want you to hurt them!”
The vixen eyed her coldly, “They turned you into a slave. You were tortured. Yet you’re still going to defend them?”
“I-I love them!” Wendy cried. “I love my brother, and I love Ellie. They didn’t try to hurt me. They were doing what they thought was right!”
“Which makes them dangerous indeed,” the Countess replied. “Self-righteous criminals, dissidents.”
“E-everything that happened to me was my fault! I chose to be a pet. I chose to go with Gwen. I chose to let her hurt me. I chose it because I love my brother! Jason only tried to help me. Ellie only tried to be kind. If they did anything wrong, it was because I made them! If anyone should be punished, it’s me!”
“Nonsense! You’re obviously the victim of these scoundrels!”
“I’m not! I could have let Jason go, but I forced them to make an impossible choice. They’ve tried to make me happy. You have to let them go! Even if I can’t go with them, I want them to be able to live the life they chose.”
“Say we let them go. What would you choose now? Would you go back to your old life? Would you stay here?” the vixen probed.
“I-if I could, I would want to go home with Ellie. I would want to be her pet with my brother.”
“Of all the things you could choose, you would chose that?” the Countess demanded irritatedly. “You could be my pet if you’re so set on it. At least you wouldn’t belong to a rabbit!”
“Th-that’s a very generous offer, Your Ladyship. If I didn’t love my brother and Ellie, then I’d be honored to be your pet.”
“It’s not an honor to be a slave! Even to your betters! It’s shameful to be a slave to your inferiors!”
“I’m sure my parents will be disappointed. It’s still what I would choose, Your Ladyship. If I wanted to escape, the only thing stopping me was leaving my brother behind, and I don’t want to take him away from Ellie. I know how much he loves her. So all I want is to do what we came here to do: sign the paperwork to make me Ellie’s pet and go home.”
The vixen crossed her arms and huffed, “Gods but you’re aggravating! I’m trying to offer you a better life, and all you want is to be a fucking rabbit’s plaything? Fine! What do I care?! You’re no one to me! You might be pretty, but there’s nothing going on upstairs! Enjoy suckling a rabbit’s teat or whatever you do!” She swept across the room and snatched her dress. “This is your room by the way! You can keep it if you stay!”
The Countess stormed out of the room and slammed the door. Wendy looked around the room again: it was a nice room, nicer than any bedroom she’d ever had and certainly nicer than Ellie’s couch. But if the Countess thought that mattered, then she hadn’t been listening. Wendy hoped Jason and Ellie had something decent to lie on in the dungeon. Maybe she should try to check on them.
Wendy had been wandering around the enormous manor, completely lost, for ten minutes or more when the Count appeared around a corner.
The tod smiled amiably, “Ah, there you are, my dear! Looking for the bathroom, are you?”
“I wanted to check on my brother and Ellie, Your Lordship.”
The tod shook his head with an amused smirk, “The dungeon is no place for ladies such as yourself. Let me show you back to your room.”
Wendy didn’t protest, and the Count wended her through the halls until they returned to where she’d started.
“The bathroom is just three doors down on the left,” he told her. He turned to go.
“I-if the dungeon is no place for ladies, is Ellie okay?” Wendy asked worriedly.
The tod glanced back at her, “The rabbit? I expect it’s nothing unusual for her. They do live in holes,” he replied amusedly.
“Have you ever seen the inside of a prey’s home, Your Lordship,” Wendy asked.
The tod turned back toward her with an amused smile, “No, you’ll have to tell me all about them, my dear.”
“They have walls and floors and ceilings. They have furniture and electricity and water,” she told him.
“Amazing. All of the basic necessities. Prey certainly are clever, aren’t they, my dear?”
Wendy could not ignore his patronizing tone. He sounded like he was talking to a kit! “Well, you didn’t know! Or you wouldn’t have called Ellie’s house a hole!” she returned angrily.
The tod chuckled. “Haha, I see. I apologize for offending you, my dear. I’m sure they’re very cozy.”
“Then if the dungeon’s so awful, can’t you let Ellie come up here?”
The tod gave her a curious look, “Why not your brother?”
“I didn’t think you’d let me bring them both upstairs, Your Lordship, and you might think I’d try to escape with Jason.”
“Sound reasoning,” he allowed. “Moreover, I might like to converse with this clever rabbit who’s seduced two cats. I’ll fetch her myself, just for you, my dear.” He winked roguishly, which was quite odd coming from the Count, and left.
Wendy retired to her room to wait. She heard Ellie’s voice raised in complaint before they reached the door.
“If you aren’t going to eat me, then put me down! I can walk on my own!”
If the Count responded, he did so more quietly. After a minute, the door opened, and the Count strode in with Ellie cradled in his arms: the rabbit really looked tiny held by the fox. The Count sauntered across the room and deposited Ellie in Wendy’s lap. Wendy instinctively wrapped her arms around the rabbit to hold her securely. The Count carefully sat next to Wendy and petted Ellie’s head with a smirk.
“You seem to have your would-be owner well in hand, my dear,” he joked. “So what’s your secret, Miss? How do you collect these cats?”
“My charming personality,” Ellie grumbled.
The Count picked Ellie up out of Wendy’s lap and held her up in front of himself with his hands under her arms. “You’re cute enough, I suppose, but you don’t look like anything special, a nice meal but not much else.”
“How would you like a kick in the chops?” Ellie growled.
“Gracious! You’re in quite a mood this evening! Have I offended you somehow, Miss?” the tod asked amusedly.
“Let’s see. You had your guards grab me. You threw me in a dungeon. I didn’t get dinner, and now you seem to think I’m a toy!”
“Dinner was an oversight. I’ll talk to someone about that,” he admitted.
“And the rest?!” Ellie demanded.
The Count shrugged, “What should I do with a dangerous criminal?”
“I’m sure I’m quite the threat,” Ellie replied sarcastically.
“Who knows what powers you have to put predators under your spell? Would you care to try it on me?”
“You’re too big. You wouldn’t fit in the burrow,” Ellie grumbled. “Will you put me down?”
The Count tucked poor Ellie to his chest and stroked her while supporting her under the rear. “That’s a pity. Your kitty was just telling me how cozy it is. Although, I suppose I could keep you here. You could keep your kitties as your pets, and I’d keep you as my pet. How does that sound?” he teased.
“I’ll pass,” Ellie said dryly. “I’m no one’s pet.”
“Right. You’re the owner somehow. We still haven’t discussed how that’s the case.”
“E-Ellie is a really wonderful person!” Wendy tried.
The tod smiled at her patronizingly, “I’m sure she is, my dear. One wonders how wonderful she needs to be to ensnare two cats though.”
“The secret is to get to them while they’re young,” Ellie stated.
The tod’s amber eyes widened in surprise and so did Wendy’s. What did she mean?
“You need to meet a kitten as a kit and show him that prey are people just like him. Then if he grows up with a conscience, you have a pet in the making.”
“What?!” Wendy yowled. “Are you saying that story Jason made up was true?!”
Ellie glanced at her with a frown, “Didn’t he tell you?”
“No! He never told me anything about what he was up to! I didn’t know you were that rabbit!”
“Care to fill me in?” the Count asked curiously.
“When Jason was a kitten, he was out playing in the woods for a few hours, and when he came back, he made up some dumb story about meeting a family of rabbits. But it turns out it was true!” Wendy explained.
“And how did that lead to the two of you being pets?” the Count asked in confusion.
“Jason used to go around mewing about how he was going to marry this little doe he’d met. He stopped wanting to eat meat. It was a real pain for our parents! I don’t think he ever had a girlfriend. So when this fantasy rabbit reappeared, he probably just fully lost his mind. He was always a weirdo.”
“And you?”
“I told you: I didn’t want to lose my brother.”
“That’s right, your beloved brother, and have you ever had a significant other, my dear?”
“I’m not sure what my love life has to do with anything,” Wendy returned embarrassedly. Her tail flipped.
“Nothing, I’m sure,” the tod answered amusedly. “Well, that certainly was educational. It doesn’t sound like we have any epidemic of prey-worshiping on our horizons. Goodnight, ladies.” He set Ellie in Wendy’s lap and left, closing the door gently behind him.
“If you want to try licking my feet, you can!” Ellie shouted after him.
Wendy reflexively slapped her hand over the rabbit’s mouth, “Shh!”
Ellie pushed her hand away. “What? He’s an ass!”
“Did you forget he’s the Count?” Wendy hissed.
“I remember,” Ellie grumbled. “I still would have kicked him in the chops.”
Wendy gave the rabbit a hug, “I’m glad you’re okay, Ellie.”
“Why wouldn’t I be?”
“I, um, may have told the Countess pretty much everything,” Wendy admitted embarrassedly.
“Wendy!” Ellie yelped.
“I-it’s okay. I think I convinced her you weren’t at fault.”
“You think?!”
“If I hadn’t, she probably would have killed you right away,” Wendy offered.
“Good to know I had that hanging over my head! What happened to sticking to the story?!”
“Sh-she was so fearsome. It just came out,” Wendy admitted.
“Sounds like someone I want to be on the bad side of,” Ellie grumbled.
“I-I’m sorry, Ellie. There’s, um, something else.”
“There’s more?!” Ellie squeaked.
“At dinner, I ate prey. The, the Countess made me eat rabbit. I’m sorry. If you want to punish me, I’ll accept it.”
“We’ll talk about that when and if we get home,” Ellie decided. “I didn’t expect them to serve you bugs, but you could have missed a meal.”
“I know, Ellie,” she mewed ashamedly.
“It seems like I’m still going to be missing dinner,” Ellie grumbled.
“The, um, Count said he’d talk to someone.”
“Right. I’m sure that’s high on his list of priorities.”
“I’ll go ask him if it doesn’t come soon,” Wendy offered.
Fortunately, there was a knock at the door after a few minutes, and one of the kitchen staff left a bowl of grass.
Ellie sighed, “It’s better than nothing.”
Wendy watched the rabbit munching the grass, but her mind was on the sleeping situation. There was only the one bed. It was big enough for both of them or even for Jason as well, but Wendy had never slept with the rabbit. She certainly wasn’t going to tell her owner she had to sleep on the floor though.
Ellie set the empty bowl on the dresser and turned to regard the bed. “Do you have a preferred side?”
Wendy startled. “What?”
“Do you prefer to sleep on the left or right side?”
“I, um, don’t care,” Wendy murmured bashfully.
Ellie climbed up on the bed and wriggled under the sheets on the right. Wendy eyed the rabbit embarrassedly.
“You, um, want me to sleep with you?” Wendy asked shyly.
“There’s nowhere else to sleep,” Ellie noted.
“I, um, guess not. It’s just, I don’t usually sleep with you at home,” Wendy mewed.
“I assumed you were more comfortable on the couch. If you take a shower, then you’re welcome to sleep with Jason and me,” Ellie stated. “I’ll let you off the hook tonight. I haven’t had one either.”
“Y-you mean if I take a shower I can sleep with you and Jason any time I want?!” Wendy meowed in surprise.
“Yeah. Didn’t I tell you that before?”
“I-I don’t remember.”
“Oh. Well, yeah, you can. As long as you’re clean you can sleep with us.”
“Don’t you, like, do things though?” Wendy hissed under her breath.
Ellie stared at her for a moment, “When did I say you weren’t invited to do things?”
“W-what?!” Wendy yowled.
“I mean, I thought you might not want to with your brother there, but I’m always open if you want to.”
“Y-you are?!”
“Um, yeah. I assume you’ve realized I have a thing for cats.”
“I-I know you like Jason, but he’s, um, and I’m.”
“Fucking Tartarus! Don’t tell me predators are so backward they don’t realize you can be attracted to the same gender!”
“I-I know that,” Wendy mewed bashfully. “I just, um, didn’t know you liked me that way.”
“Well, I do. Now come to bed. I want to cuddle my pet.”
Blushing, Wendy crawled under the blankets and lay next to the rabbit. Ellie turned onto her side, facing away from Wendy and scooted closer to her.
“Hold me,” Ellie instructed.
Wendy tucked one arm under Ellie’s head and wrapped the other over the little doe. Ellie wriggled closer until she was pressed close against Wendy’s chest and belly. One of her little hands wrapped around Wendy’s. Soon the rabbit relaxed into peaceful slumber. Wendy watched the little, sleeping doe in the pale moonlight: her owner was so small and delicate. While she was being brave, the rabbit must be afraid for her life. Wendy had become accustomed to relying on the rabbit, but she was just a little prey in a mansion filled with predators. Jason was locked in a cell, and Wendy was the only person she could trust. Wendy needed to protect her! She kissed the rabbit on top of the head.
“We’ll make it home, Ellie,” she whispered.
Wendy hugged Ellie securely and closed her eyes.
* * *
Ellie awoke the next morning with Wendy’s arm still over her. She’d managed to slip away during the night to handle her caecotrophs and slip back into the queen’s arms without waking her up. She didn’t like needing to rely on the cat in this way, but she never could have slept without her protective presence. However, she really needed to pee now and had no idea where the bathroom was. She wasn’t about the wander the mansion on her own though.
“Psst! Wendy? Are you awake?” Ellie hissed under her breath.
The cat’s arm twitched, and then she yawned.
“Sorry if I woke you up, but I need to use the bathroom,” Ellie explained. “Do you know where it is?”
“Three doors down,” Wendy murmured sleepily.
“Which side?”
“I don’t remember.”
“That’s okay. I’ll find it. Three doors down,” Ellie repeated. She slipped out of the cat’s arms and onto the floor.
Wendy sat up and blinked her yellow-green eyes at her, seeming to wake up more fully. “I should escort you.”
“That’s okay. I’ll find it,” Ellie said uncomfortably. She wasn’t helpless!
“Ellie! You’re a rabbit!”
“I’m aware,” Ellie replied dryly.
“So I should go with you! What if someone sees you? The Count knows you’re up here, but does anyone else?”
“Fine, but hurry up. I’m about to pee on the floor,” Ellie shot back irately.
Wendy leapt out of bed and raced to the door. Ellie felt a little guilty about her tone as she followed the silver tabby. She knew Wendy was right, but she didn’t want to think about the dangerous situation she was in. They were supposed to be home by now, but instead the fox had decided to hold them here against their will. Ellie was acutely aware of how few rights she had in predator society. The Count could find countless excuses to have her executed and served at his table. She needed to get out of here, but she didn’t even have her cloak to hide her species. Furthermore, she couldn’t leave without Jason, who was still stuck in the dungeon. Their fates were in the Count’s claws.
They found the bathroom, and Ellie relieved her bladder. Wendy came into the bathroom with her and used the toilet after her. Ellie politely looked away while washing her hands and drying them on a coral-pink towel. She and the queen made their way back to the bedroom, and it wasn’t long before there was a knock on the door. Wendy glanced at Ellie, and she nodded.
“C-come in!” Wendy called.
The door opened to reveal a fisher in a frilly French maid’s uniform with a silver tray balanced on one paw. The tray held a steaming tea cup, a cream pitcher, and a sugar bowl in matching white and pink china.
The carnivore goggled at Ellie and almost dropped the tray. “W-where did you find a prey, Miss?! Breakfast is already started, but I’ll see if they can manage it this morning if you want to eat the one you caught!”
“E-Ellie’s a friend!” Wendy meowed quickly. “Please ask them to prepare a nice salad for her for breakfast. I, um, won’t be having prey this morning. If, um, there aren’t any bugs, do you think they could make me an egg?”
The fisher stared at Wendy for a moment like she’d lost her mind, but then nodded, “A-as you wish, Miss. Would you like some coffee? I can bring another cup for your, um, friend.”
“I don’t drink coffee,” Wendy answered.
“I’ll take it!” Ellie cut in. “Sugar, no cream.”
The fisher stepped into the room and set down the tray. She spooned some sugar into the tea cup and gave it a stir before handing it to Ellie with a funny, uncertain look.
“Thank you,” Ellie said stiffly.
The fisher nodded, still staring at her unblinkingly.
Ellie took a careful sip of the hot liquid. “It’s good, thanks.”
The fisher blinked and then glanced at Wendy.
“You, um, can go now,” Wendy meowed awkwardly. “Make sure you tell the kitchen about Ellie’s salad.”
The fisher looked at the cat and blinked again, “Right, I’ll see about that and the egg. I don’t remember ever having a prey at breakfast, except, you know, the normal way.”
Ellie’s stomach churned, “I can eat up here.”
“His Lordship said to bring our guests down for breakfast. He just didn’t say. I’ll, uh, ask about the salad.” She hurried out of the room.
Ellie groaned, “I hate this! When are they letting us go home?!”
“I’m sorry, Ellie,” Wendy meowed contritely. “I didn’t want you to be uncomfortable in the dungeon, but maybe it’s worse up here.”
“Hardly. Jason’s going to need to be treated for fleas,” Ellie replied grimly. “Let’s just hope the Count already wrote up the contract, so we can get out of here.”
Ellie sat on the bed and sipped her sweet coffee. About half an hour later, the fisher returned and led them downstairs. Ellie hopped along close behind their guide, and Wendy followed on her heals.
As they entered the dining room, the Count waved them over to the long table and two prepared seats on his left. The fisher pulled out the seat directly to the Count’s left, and Ellie hopped into it. Wendy sat in the seat beside her. Ellie’s chin barely cleared the table, but she didn’t complain. She wasn’t going to cower behind her pet, and she wasn’t going to complain about the size discrepancy between herself and her hosts.
The Count smiled down at her amusedly, “Theodora, grab one of the kits’ booster seats for our bunny guest, please.”
“Y-yes, Your Lordship!” the fisher piped.
She hurriedly grabbed a booster seat off of one of the empty chairs and brought it to Ellie’s chair. Ellie reluctantly hopped out of her seat and allowed the fisher to place the booster seat in it. She scrambled back into the seat, admittedly now at a more appropriate height.
The Count picked up and rang a little bell, and a pair of otters scampered into the room, placing a bowl of salad in front of Ellie and a soft-boiled egg with toast in front of Wendy.
The Count gave Ellie a smile, “I hope your breakfast is to your liking, Miss Ellie.”
“Thanks,” Ellie grumbled. “It looks good. You wouldn’t need to feed us if we were at home.”
The tod grinned toothily, “We’ll send you home soon enough, but please enjoy our hospitality. We’ll try to accommodate anything you need.”
“I’m sure Jason is enjoying your ‘hospitality’,” Ellie replied pointedly.
“He’d be enjoying it more if he wasn’t refusing to eat,” the fox returned.
“If we’re going home soon, couldn’t you let him come upstairs?” Wendy asked. “I’m sure he would eat an egg.”
“I’m more interested in your ladies’ company. The tom can stay where he is,” the Count dismissed. “Did you find your accommodations acceptable last night?”
“Oh yes, the bed was very comfortable, Your Lordship,” Wendy answered.
“I’m glad to hear that,” the tod said warmly. “It’s a pity my wife isn’t here to meet you, Miss Ellie, but she isn’t an early riser. The kits are already in their morning lessons.”
“That’s fine,” Ellie said curtly. “I just want to get the contract signed and go.” She stabbed a bite of salad with her fork and sniffed it cautiously.
The tod grinned, “I’m not trying to poison you. Enjoy!”
Ellie dug into her salad, which was actually quite good. She remembered that the Count employed prey to tend to his vegetables, so that probably explained it. Wendy picked at her egg, carefully trying to scoop the contents out of the shell. It looked gross and messy, but it was better than what the Count was eating, which Ellie didn’t even want to think about. Ellie was almost optimistic they would get out of here without any further hassle when the Count’s sudden yap made her jump.
“Marian! You’re up early!” he called warmly. “Come meet our other guest, Miss Ellie.”
Ellie turned nervously and watch an unkempt vixen trudge groggily to the table and slump down in the chair across from her.
“Coffee,” the vixen muttered.
The Count rang the bell, and an otter poked their head into the room. The Count nodded to his wife, and the otter disappeared, returning only moments later with an enormous, streaming mug. The vixen hefted it and took a long slurp. As she set it back down, her eyes fell on Ellie. She blinked and then rubbed her eyes and stared again.
“Wilhelm, why is there an unprepared dinner at our table?” she asked bemusedly. She glanced down at the half-eaten bowl of salad, “Did someone serve it breakfast?”
“This is Miss Ellie, dear. Miss Wendy was worried she wasn’t comfortable downstairs, so I brought her upstairs to spend the night. She’s just having breakfast before we go over her paperwork and send our guests on their way.”
The vixen scoffed, “I’m sure it was comparable to a hole in the ground!”
“Miss Wendy was just explaining to me how cozy the burrow is yesterday evening,” the Count replied smoothly.
The vixen snorted derisively, “I’m sure.” She eyed Ellie disdainfully, “Bunny…live in…nice…hole?” she asked slowly in a snide tone.
“I take it you believe prey are the less civilized society compared to you murderous barbarians,” Ellie replied sharply. “Kindly leave me alone if you don’t have more creative insults than treating me like a moron.” Maybe it wasn’t wise to antagonize the vixen, but Ellie had had it up to her ears with the bullshit.
The vixen leapt up, her eyes flaring with rage, but the Count chuckled, “Hahaha, sit down, Marian, and try not to insult our guest.”
The vixen whipped her muzzle toward her husband, “Didn’t you hear what she just called me?! ‘Murderous barbarian?!’” she fumed.
“I believed she called everyone here a murderous barbarian, actually,” the tod replied amusedly. “Which was only after you called her ‘an unprepared dinner’, so it was, perhaps, not uncalled for.”
The Countess sat but glared at Ellie with smoldering, amber eyes, “Why are we eating with this smart-ass rabbit?”
“I thought she would be interesting company,” the Count answered. “When was the last time you shared a meal with a prey?”
“Never, of course. It’s absurd.”
“Well, then it may be a once in a life opportunity, so try to be polite.”
Ellie returned the vixen’s glare while she continued to munch her salad. Beside her, Wendy was practically hyperventilating with anxiety, her delicate egg smashed to pieces by her shaking paw. Maybe she should have let it go. It wasn’t like turning the vixen’s disrespect back on her was going to change her mind.
She placed her hand on Wendy’s. “Shh, it’s alright, kitty. I’ll try to tone it down,” she murmured softly. “Do you need another egg? That one looks kind of destroyed.”
Wendy nodded. She took a deep breath and stopped trembling quite as much though her tail was still twitching.
Ellie turned to the Count, “Can Wendy have another egg? Maybe they can prepare it in a way that’s easier to eat. We’re not used to your fancy foods.”
The tod smiled patronizingly, “Of course.” He rang the bell, and another otter hurried into the room. “Replace the lady’s egg and have it fixed over-easy this time.”
The otter scooped up Wendy’s plate and hurried back to the kitchen.
The Countess scoffed, “Pathetic. How can you sit there and be mothered by a rabbit?”
Ellie gave the vixen a cold look, “I always look after my pets.”
The Countess scoffed again. Fortunately, Wendy’s second egg didn’t take long, and she had a much easier time eating this one.
When she and Ellie were finished, Ellie looked at the Count, “Can we sign that paperwork now and get out of here?”
“Soon,” the Count replied silkily.
Ellie stared at him in frustration, “What’s the hold-up now?!”
The tod grinned slyly, “I simply wanted to discuss another prospect with you. I’m sure you’d like to have as much time with your pets as possible.”
Ellie felt her blood run cold, “What do you mean by that?” she asked nervously. Was he threatening her?!
The tod chuckled, “Ahaha, no need to fear. I won’t force you into anything. However, I’ve found it rather entertaining having you as my guests, and I know the life of a prey is difficult.”
“Because of predators!” Ellie cut in irately.
“True, true,” the tod mollified. “However, you would be safe if you remained here. You could keep your kitties as your pets, and all of you would be protected.”
“But,” Ellie prompted skeptically.
“But, I would only allow this if you will be my pet. You won’t find it overly burdensome. I’d simply like to hold you when I please, feed you treats, those sorts of things. I’ve never met a rabbit who wasn’t terrified of me, and I rather enjoy it.”
“I’ll pass,” Ellie replied dryly. “I told you yesterday that I’m no one’s pet.”
“You’re sure you won’t consider it?” the Count pressed.
“Yes. However, I would consider staying if you would be my pet.” She glanced at the vixen, who had a flabbergasted expression, whether at Ellie’s comment or the Count’s offer, Ellie wasn’t sure, but she went on, “I’ll stay if you and your wife and everyone here swear fealty to me, you turn your title over, and you declare me the rightful ruler of this domain.”
The tod stared at her in disbelief for a moment and then laughed, “Ahahaha, you do have a way of making your point! Of course, it’s out of the question. I would have been terrifically pleased if you had said yes though. Well, I’ll indulge myself with one more cuddle before I let you leave.”
The tod stood, quickly stepped over to Ellie’s seat, and lifted her out of it without so much as a please! He held her up in front of himself with his hands under her arms and beamed at her.
“Who’s a brave little bunny?” he crooned stupidly. “You are, cutie pie!”
“Wilhelm!” the vixen hissed under her breath. “You’re making a scene! Put that thing down!”
The tod tucked Ellie against his chest and one hand went under her rear to support her. His other hand stoked her ears. It took all of Ellie’s self-control not to bite him!
“Quit fondling that thing!”
“Now, Marian, you haven’t even tried holding our delightful little guest. I’m sure you’d be as smitten with her as me,” the tod returned smoothly. He sighed, “I could hold you for hours, but I suppose I’d best put you down.”
He set Ellie on the floor, but she was still livid! Neither of these foxes thought of her as a person. One thought she was an amusing toy, and the other thought she was an uppity dinner.
“A-are you alright, Ellie?” Wendy mewed worriedly behind her.
“Yes!” Ellie snapped. “Peachy! I just want to finish with this bullshit!”
“Very well,” the Count sighed. “We’ll go over the contract, and then you can go.”
Finally, the tod led them back to the office where they had met him yesterday. He proffered the contract, and Ellie forced herself to take the time to read it over carefully. Fortunately, nothing seemed amiss. She signed and handed the pen to Wendy. Wendy looked at her nervously for a moment and then signed as well. The Count inspected their signatures, stamped the contract with his seal, and handed it to Ellie.
“We just need my cloak and Jason,” Ellie stated curtly.
A haggard Jason was brought up to them and flung his arms around Ellie, hugging her tight and purring in relief. He smelled, but Ellie didn’t complain. They all needed a bath when they got home. Finding her cloak took longer, but someone finally dug it out of the laundry. At last, they were making their way home with the sun high overhead.
“At least everything worked out,” Wendy remarked.
“We’re not home yet,” Ellie warned.
However, they made it back to the burrow uneventfully. Ellie sent Jason to take a shower and was just sitting down when someone started pounding on the front door. She groaned and stood up. Peeking out the peephole, she saw Gwendolen. Ellie opened the door with a smirk.
“It’s afternoon!” Gwen shouted. “Where’s Jason?! You were supposed to bring him over this morning!”
“You won’t be laying a finger on him,” Ellie returned smugly. “We just got back from the Count’s. Wendy officially belongs to me now.”
Gwen frowned, “So what?”
“So if you tell the Council she’s dangerous, I’ll be punished for allowing my pet to threaten you. You wouldn’t dare get your own sister in trouble.”
Gwendolen's face screwed up in frustration, and she stomped her foot. "That's not fair, Ellie! You promised I could play with him! Jason said he wanted to!"
"I don't care if he did. He's mine, and you can't play with him. Wendy's mine now too. Go find your own pet!"
"If you won't let me play with them, then I'll tell!" Gwen sniped back. "I don't care if you get in trouble! You deserve to! You're just selfish and greedy!"
Ellie snorted derisively, "Like you'll actually do it."
"I will!" Gwen shot back. "I'll tell them you told your pet to threaten me!"
Ellie glanced at Wendy, who was watching their exchange with her tail thrashing agitatedly. Maybe she really should tell the cat to threaten Gwen. However, she thought better of further escalating the situation. "No one has threatened you. Wendy may have said something inappropriate but only after you had been torturing her. I won't allow you to torture my pets again, no matter what you say. Lie if you want to. No one will believe you."
"I want to talk to Jason!" Gwen demanded peevishly. "He said he wants to play with me! You have to let him if he wants to!"
"I don't have to let my pet do anything," Ellie returned stubbornly. This wasn't negotiable!
"Wh-what if I let you watch?" Gwen pleaded.
Ellie scoffed, "I'm not a voyeur!"
"No, I mean what if I let you make sure I didn't do anything too mean? If Jason wants to play with me, would it be okay with you as long as you could watch to make sure I didn't hurt him?"
Ellie frowned. She still wanted to say no. She didn't buy Gwendolen's bluff that she would lie about them threatening her, but could she be certain about that? And who would the Council believe? Ellie had certainly never suspected sweet little Gwendolen had such sadistic tendencies. Would anyone believe she would lie? "And if I agreed to that once a month you would be satisfied?" Ellie pressed.
"If I get him for twenty-four hours," Gwen returned quickly.
"I can't sit around all day and watch you! Besides, how long are you going to fuck?!"
"Then a few hours every week," Gwen countered. "I won't accept less than that!"
Ellie groaned. She shut her eyes and rubbed the bridge of her nose, "Fine. If Jason agrees to it."
Gwendolen clapped her hands excitedly, "He will! He wants to play with me! You'll see he likes it rough! When you see how much he likes it, you won't mind letting me have him to myself every once in a while!"
Ellie grunted noncommittally. She hoped Jason would tell Gwen to shove it or would at least decide he didn't like playing with her. He was supposed to be Ellie's pet, and she didn't like the idea of him playing with her sister, even if it was to placate Gwen. If she'd known it would lead to all of this trouble, she never would have let Wendy go with her sister.
They waited for Jason to finish with his shower. Gwendolen sat on the couch and made eyes at Wendy, trying to coax her to sit with her. The queen pretended not to notice, but Ellie could tell she was uncomfortable. At last, the tom padded up the stairs. His eyes fell on Gwendolen, and he glanced to Ellie worriedly.
"Hi kitty!" Gwendolen piped, leaping up from the couch and darting up to the tom. She beamed up at him with a toothy grin and rocked back and forth on her long feet with her hands behind her back. "Ellie said it's okay if you play with me for a few hours every week as long as she can watch! If you're ready, we can go now!"
"Only if you want to," Ellie clarified. "And I'm only watching to make sure she doesn't torture you."
Gwen stuck out her tongue at Ellie before smiling up at Jason again, "Ellie thinks you don't really want to play, but I know you want me to make you squirm a little! Ellie will make sure I don't get too rough, but we'll still have fun. What do you say, kitty?"
Jason glanced at Ellie.
"It's up to you, kitty," Ellie said again. "I don't believe Gwen will try to tell the Council Wendy threatened her, but she says she'll be satisfied with this arrangement."
"If you want them to be mine forever you can try me and find out," Gwen rejoined spicily. "If Ellie is too greedy to share, then maybe she shouldn't have pets!"
"If it's okay with Ellie, then I'll be happy to play with you," Jason meowed. "I understand that she's worried, but I trust you not to go too far, Gwen."
Gwendolen grinned amusedly, "Aww, you trust me? That's so sweet of you to say, kitty. I'd love to make you scream if Ellie would allow it, but I guess she won't let me go that far."
"You're right about that," Ellie growled. "You have to play nicely. You aren't allowed to hurt my pet!"
Gwendolen stuck her tongue out at Ellie again, "Party pooper." She smiled at Jason, "So, are you ready, kitty?"
Jason glanced at Ellie again, and she sighed resignedly, "If we have to." She glanced at Wendy, "Will you be alright alone?"
Wendy nodded uncomfortably. "Y-you won't let her hurt him, will you?"
"Of course not. We'll be back this evening."
Gwendolen took Jason by the hand and tugged him toward the stairs excitedly, "Come on, kitty! It's time to play!"
* * *
Gwendolen hurriedly led the cat home with her sister following a short distance behind. She was still annoyed that Ellie wouldn't let her have the cat to herself for the day, but she still couldn't wait to get him secured where she could do what she wanted with him. Hopefully, Ellie wouldn't hover too much, and there was a lot she could do without making the cat scream in pain. She led them in through the back and upstairs, bounding over to the table where she could restrain him.
"Lie down, kitty!" she piped excitedly.
"Wait a minute," Ellie cut in obnoxiously. Gwendolen shot her sister a dirty look but let her continue. "Before you start, you need to have a safe-word, and you need to stop if he uses it. I can't know how much pain he's feeling, so he needs to be able to stop things if it's too much."
"Why would I let him decide when to stop?" Gwendolen asked annoyedly. "He's a toy! He shouldn't get a say!"
"And that's why I'm watching to make sure you don't go too far," Ellie replied grimly. "Decide on a safe-word. If he uses it and you don't stop, you're done."
"Fine. The safe-word is 'worrywart'," Gwendolen replied snippily. "But it would be more fun if you'd let me decide how much he can take." She smiled at the tom, who was swishing his tail embarrassedly. "You don't have to use the safe-word, kitty. Trust me. Even if it seems like too much, you'll enjoy it more if you let me decide."
"I-I'll try to trust you, Gwen," Jason mewed nervously.
Gwendolen gave Ellie a sharp look, "And if he doesn't use it, you won't interfere?"
"I didn't say that," Ellie returned. "Be nice to my kitty."
Gwendolen rolled her eyes in annoyance but motioned toward the table again. The cat compliantly laid down, and she secured his wrists and ankles with metal cuffs. Next, she pulled a strap tightly across his chest. Finally, she fit a smother box down around his face. She grinned down at the helpless cat excitedly, trying to ignore her sister's judgmental gaze boring into her.
"You're all mine now, kitty," she teased. "Let's start by hooking up the electrodes. How would you like them on your balls?"
The tom swallowed nervously, "I-if you want to, Gwen."
Gwendolen booped his nose with a finger, grinning deviously, "Try to be more excited! This is going to feel amazing, I promise!"
She bounded around to the cat's hind end and attached the metal clamps to his fuzzy scrotum, smearing some electrode gel to improve the contact. Then she hopped over to the shock box, set it to a lower setting, and turned it on. The red LED flashed, and the cat started a little.
"That feels nice, doesn't it?" she teased. "But I know you can take more than that."
She cranked it up to a middle setting.
The light flashed, and the cat jerked and let out a moan, "F-fuck. That, gods."
Gwendolen giggled. "A little more you say?"
She cranked it up another coupled notches. The light flashed, and the cat jerked and screamed.
"That's too much!" Ellie cut in anxiously.
Gwendolen scowled, "No it isn't. He likes it. He hasn't used the safe-word."
The light flashed, and the cat screamed again.
"Turn it down, or you're done!" Ellie demanded.
Gwendolen reluctantly turned it back down to the middle setting.
The light flashed, and the cat jerked and groaned, "Th-thank you, Gwen. I-I think I can take this."
Gwendolen hopped over to his head to stare down at him a little grumpily, "You could have taken more. You should have told Ellie you were alright!"
The cat laughed nervously, "I, um, that other setting was pretty intense. I don't know if I could take it for long."
Gwendolen shook her head as she ran a finger up the bridge of his nose between his pretty sea green eyes, "You could have taken it for as long as I wanted you to. You just need to be brave, kitty. Maybe next time. Let's hook up the vibrator next."
Gwendolen lubed up a vibrating dildo and attached it to an arm at the end of the table. She inserted it into the cat's rectum and turned it on high, sending blasts of vibration over his accessory sex glands. The cat moaned but didn't protest, nor did Ellie object to this.
"That will nicely massage your little kitty glands," Gwendolen teased happily. "And it feels extra nice with the shocks to your balls, huh?"
"Y-yes, Gwen," the cat mewed. He jerked and moaned at another shock.
Gwendolen watched him squirm and moan for a few minutes with some satisfaction. He could be enduring a lot more if her stupid sister wasn't here, but he wasn't going to get off easy. She hopped up onto the smother box and sat on his face.
"Now, lick my pussy, kitty," she ordered happily.
The cat's warm, rough tongue stroked over her labia before pushing inside her. Gwendolen moaned with pleasure as he stroked her sensitive folds. She ground herself against his muzzle, rubbing her clit on his soft nose, and when she felt like it, she let him have a little breath so that he wouldn't pass out. Waves of pleasure flooded up from her loins, and her juices flowed down the cat's face and into his mouth. After a few minutes of bliss, Gwendolen glanced over at Ellie to make sure her sister was awkwardly looking away.
She bent down and whispered softly for only the cat to hear, "I'm going to piss down your throat, kitty. Pretend you're still licking. I don't think Ellie would let me do this."
The cat's sea green eyes looked concerned, but he didn't protest. He kept his mouth open and let Gwendolen adjust herself. Then she peed into the feline's mouth. Gwendolen let the urine stream out of her unabated, squeezing her abdomen to piss hard down the cat's throat. He made little gurgling sounds as he struggled to guzzle the urine that poured into his mouth. Gwendolen continued to moan, and her pleasure was far from counterfeit. The relief of emptying her full bladder combined with the pleasure of making the the cat drink her pee. His eyes were a little desperate, but he continued to chug it down without a chance for a pause. Finally, the last of the urine trickled into his mouth, and he swallowed and gasped. Gwendolen quickly sat down firmly on his muzzle, and after a moment, he returned to licking her vagina. She sighed with pleasure and glanced at her sister again. If Ellie knew what she'd done, she showed no sign of it. Gwendolen grinned and returned to grinding herself on the cat's face.
When Gwendolen had had enough of the cat's tongue in her vagina, she shifted forward so that he could eat her ass instead. She wasn't sure Ellie was aware of this change either, and she smirked. Her sister had thought she could tell her what to do, but she was too embarrassed to pay close attention as long as Gwendolen's rear was involved! Gwendolen wished she could sit on Ellie's stupid face and show her what she thought of her safe-words and being gentle. She was enjoying herself, but she could have been pushing the cat to his absolute limit! She imagined the absolute ecstasy of using the cat while he writhed and struggled without relief from his agony. Their experience would have been transcendent!
Gwendolen allowed the cat to plumb her rectum with his tongue until she got bored. Finally, she stood and turned to look at his pretty, stripy face. His smile was a bit strained, but he made the effort to look compliant.
"Are you having fun, kitty?" she teased.
"Y-yes, thank you, Gwen."
"That's 'goddess' to you, toy," she returned saucily.
"R-right, thank you, Goddess," he mewled.
Gwendolen grinned. "So, are your balls feeling nice and tender now? They've been getting shocked for a while."
"Th-they're alright, Goddess. I can take it," he whined.
"I want to give them a few good kicks. Do you think you can take that, kitty?"
The cat looked nervous, but he replied, "Yes, Goddess. I can take it if that's what you want to do."
"Great!"
Gwendolen bounded around the table to the other end, turned off the shock box, and removed the clamps. She hopped up onto the table and slammed her foot into the cat's testicles. He screamed in agony. Gwendolen let out a squeal of glee and pulled back her foot for another kick.
"Stop!" Ellie's harsh squeak caused her to freeze. "Do that again, and you're through! I told you to be nice!"
Gwendolen lowered her foot but glared at her interfering sister. She glanced down at the panting, moaning cat. "Tell her you want another, kitty!" she ordered.
"I-I want another, Goddess," the cat whimpered.
Gwnedolen pulled back her foot, but Ellie caught it, almost yanking her backward off the table!
"I said no more!" Ellie yelled. "Let him up! He's had enough of this!"
"My time with him isn't up!" Gwendolen protested.
"You'll have to do something else!" Ellie demanded.
Gwendolen fumed, "Fine! Let go of my foot!"
Ellie let go, and she hopped down from the table. She angrily released the cat from his bonds and allowed him to sit up. He eyed the two of them nervously.
"We're going to my bedroom so that we can fuck," Gwendolen declared. "Are you going to come in and watch that too?!" she demanded, giving Ellie a dirty look.
Ellie glanced away grumpily, "No, but I'll be listening. Don't hurt him."
The tom gingerly stood, and Gwendolen grabbed his arm to tug him toward the stairs. Ellie followed but didn't enter her bedroom. Gwendolen slammed the door shut behind them.
"Lie on the bed with your legs over the end," she ordered.
The cat complied, and Gwendolen retrieved a length of rope from her closet. She tied his arms to the headboard and his feet to the bed's legs so that he was splayed across the bed, stretched between the four corners. Gwendolen grabbed a muzzle out of her closet and some used tissues out of the trash and hopped up on the bed in front of the cat's face.
"Open," she ordered.
The cat obeyed, and she stuffed the tissues into his mouth.
"Close."
Gwendolen pulled the muzzle over his face and tightened it behind his ears. He looked up at her worriedly.
"Now, shhhh," she whispered amusedly. "We don't want Ellie to interrupt our fun." She hopped off the bed and bounded around to the end. "Tail up!" she piped.
The cat obediently raised his tail, and Gwendolen appreciated his rear for a moment. Then she slammed her fist into his scrotum. His scream was muffled through the tissues and muzzle. Gwendolen glanced back at the door to see if Ellie would burst in, but her sister remained outside. Gwendolen giggled, and eyed the cat's balls with delight. It was time to really have some fun! Gwendolen pulled back her fist and smashed the cat's balls again. His muffled screams filled her with euphoria as she pummeled his testicles with both fists. If he wanted to use the stupid safe-word, it wasn't like he could articulate with his mouth full of soggy tissues. Gwendolen moaned and squealed loudly over his muffled cries, and the sound of her ecstasy was only slightly exaggerated for her sister's benefit.
When she had taken out her frustration, she hopped back around to his head and leapt up onto the bed to smirk down at him. The cat looked up at her pleadingly, his furry cheeks damp with tears. Gwendolen sighed happily and petted his stripy head.
"That's a good, kitty. You loved that, didn't you? Now, it's time to fuck like I said. Has Ellie fucked your ass yet?"
The cat nodded, still looking up at her with a desperate, pleading expression.
"Good. Then we won't have to go slow. Keep that tail up!"
Gwendolen bounded over to her closet and selected her biggest dildo for her strap-on harness. The enormous member was the width and length of her forearm! She eyed the cat's anus with anticipation as she tightened the harness around her hips and slathered it with lube. Then she stepped up behind the tom and gripped his tail firmly, poking the cool, slimy tip against his hole.
"Get your guts ready, kitty!" she piped gleefully.
She plunged the silicone cock into him. Gwendolen pounded the cat's guts while he let out muffled groans and gasps through the muzzle. Her hips smashed into his balls with each thrust, intensifying the tenor of his cries. Gwendolen paused before her next thrust and slammed her fist into his aching organs to elicit another muffled scream. With a moan of pleasure, she continued. She fucked the cat until she was panting and exhausted.
After giving his balls another punch for good measure, Gwendolen dropped the strap-on onto the floor and climbed up onto the bed. She walked up his back until she could plant one foot on top of his head. She pushed down on his head with her weight.
"Having fun, kitty?" she taunted.
"Mm-mmhm," he whimpered.
She ground her foot down onto his head. "Good. I'm tired, and if I had you longer, we'd take a nap together. As it is, I'm going to let Ellie take you home. Make sure she brings you back next week!"
Gwendolen stepped off of the cat and removed the muzzle. She untied him, and he leapt up and spat the soggy tissues into the trash, retching and shaking. Gwendolen regarded him contentedly.
"If Ellie stays out of it, we'll have more fun next time," she piped cheerfully. "See you around, kitty!"
She watched the cat stumble out of the room and then flopped back on the bed with a happy sigh. Despite Ellie's interference, it had been an amazing afternoon! She couldn't wait to play with the kitty again!
* * *
Ellie was steaming with rage as she helped the painful cat walk home. While most of her anger was directed at her sister, she couldn't stop herself from being angry with Jason as well. He wanted this! She knew this was the best way to ensure Gwendolen didn't cause them trouble with the Council, but she was still angry that Jason hadn't refused! He was her kitty! Didn't he lover her? How could he be okay with doing those things with her sister?! Moreover, he had let Gwen hurt him! I wasn't able to protect him. As much as she wanted to blame Gwen, Ellie was also mad at herself for failing in her duty as an owner. Still, it would have been easier if Jason had put up more resistance. If he had only asked her to take him home, she would have dragged him out of her sister's burrow no matter what Gwen said. It wasn't his fault. Jason had just been trying to protect her and his sister. Maybe he had been a little too eager to let Gwendolen hurt him, but he had endured it for their sakes. She couldn't let him go through that again.
Ellie waited while the tom slowly climbed the ladder into her bedroom. He groaned as he pulled himself up out of the trap door and then gingerly lay on the bed on his belly.
"Are you alright, kitty?" she asked worriedly.
"Yeah, my, uh, balls just hurt," Jason mewled embarrassedly.
Ellie eyed the bulge protruding under his tail angrily, "If I cut them off, Gwendolen won't be able to torture you like that."
She knew it was a nasty comment, and Jason flipped the tip of his tail, glancing at her nervously.
"I'm, um, sorry, Ellie. I know you're upset, but I'll be okay. I-"
"How could you let her do that to you?!" Ellie demanded. She her belly was tight and painful, and she could feel her heart rising into her throat. She tried to hold back tears, but they burned at the corners of her eyes. "You're never doing that again! I don't care what Gwen says! I won't let her hurt you! You're my responsibility! I shouldn't have let you do those things! I shouldn't have let her hurt you!"
"I-I'm okay," Jason tried to mollify her, standing up. "I'll be fine. I'm just a little sore."
"Never again!" Ellie shrieked. Tears streamed down her cheeks. "You're my kitty! I love you! Not Gwen! Gwen can't hurt you! You can't have sex with her! You belong to me!"
"I-I'm sorry, Ellie. I love you too!" Jason mewled anxiously. "I don't have feelings for Gwen. I-I admit I thought it might be fun to let her play with me, but it didn't mean anything! I only love you! I won't do anything with Gwen again! I should have know it would hurt you, I'm sorry!"
Ellie shook her head and sniffed wetly, "No, you're my pet, and I have to take responsibility. I shouldn't have let Gwen hurt you. You never would have disobeyed me if I told you not to."
"I have to take responsibility too," Jason protested. "You gave me the choice, and I should have made the right one. I know I belong to you, but I still hurt you. I'm sorry, Ellie."
Ellie stepped close to the tom and hugged him tightly around the middle. Jason hugged her back and petted her head. Ellie pressed her damp cheek against his warm, furry chest.
"She'll never lay a hand on you again," she murmured determinedly. "I don't care what she says. I won't let her have you ever again."
Jason stroked and hugged her until she was calm. When she was feeling better, Ellie nuzzled her wet nose against his fur before looking up with a teasing smile.
"If you really like a kick in the balls, I'm sure I can oblige you now and again, kitty," she teased.
Jason's ears turned back worriedly and he let out a nervous chuckle, "Heh, th-that wasn't my favorite part, but if you want to, Ellie."
Ellie smirked, "What did you like then?"
"B-being tied up mostly. Feeling helpless. You could do whatever you wanted to me, Ellie."
"I already can. You're a very obedient pet," she pointed out amusedly.
"But it's different when I know I can't resist. I'll always obey you, but if I know I'm at your mercy."
Ellie giggled, "Heehee, we'll have to get some rope then! Do you think your sister likes it?"
Jason looked embarrassed and shook his head.
"No? That's okay. She's an obedient kitty too. Since you're sore, maybe I'll play with her tonight. You won't be too jealous, will you?"
"N-no, Ellie," Jason replied embarrassedly. "I, um, I know she's your pet too, and I know you won't make her do things she doesn't like. You're a kind owner to both of us."
"I'm glad you appreciate how well I take care of you, my pet," Ellie teased. "I think I've been neglecting Wendy though. It's time to rectify that! She wants to have fun with her bunny owner too."
Ellie led Jason upstairs where Wendy was waiting. The queen hugged her brother tightly, and Ellie apologized to her for what happened, promising to never let Gwendolen hurt either of them again.
"Wh-what if she goes to the Council," Wendy asked nervously. "I'm the one who caused this mess. If someone has to get hurt, it should be me!"
"No one has to get hurt! If Gwen causes trouble, I'll kick her butt," Ellie declared. "Besides, she knows mom would tan her hide if she lied and got me in trouble. She's not going to hurt either of you ever again."
"Th-thank you, Ellie," Wendy mewed.
Ellie gave her a warm smile, "Jason is worn out, but if you'd like to, the two of us could have some fun after dinner," she remarked gently.
Wendy gave her a confused look, "You want to play a game?"
"You could call it that," Ellie quipped. "Remember how I said you were always invited back when were spent the night at the Count's?"
Wendy's ears turned red, "O-oh! If you want to, Ellie!"
"You don't have to," Ellie clarified. "You're my pet, but it's your choice. It's totally up to you."
"I-I want to," Wendy mewed shyly. "I want you to play with me and treat me like your pet."
Ellie grinned, "We'll have fun together, kitty-cat. It'll be fun to have such a gorgeous kitty worship me a little."
Wendy looked embarrassed, but she nodded in agreement.
Ellie and Wendy fixed dinner while Jason rested on the couch. He had to sit on a cushion at dinner because his balls were still sore. Ellie thought about asking if she could kick them before she and Wendy went downstairs, but she dismissed the evil inclination. She didn't want Gwen to wear off on her even if he was being slightly annoying about how sore they were. They left Jason to clean up, and Ellie led the queen down to her bedroom.
* * *
Wendy was filled with nervous anticipation as she followed the little doe down the stairs. She shyly studied the rabbit's petite form. Ellie had been very kind to her since she had rescued her from Gwen's abuse, but Wendy remembered when they had first met. She loved and trusted the rabbit now, but she knew Ellie would expect her to be obedient. She wanted to please her owner, but she couldn't help but be nervous after her abuse at Gwen's hands.
Ellie led her into the bedroom and hopped over to the closet. She retrieved Wendy's leash and clipped it to her collar. Wendy looked down at the little bunny nervously, her heart rate rising as she waited for Ellie's order. The rabbit tugged her leash toward the bed, and Wendy crawled up onto the bed after her. Ellie reclined at the head of the bed, propped up against a plum-colored reading pillow and gave the leash another gentle tug.
"Why don't you give my feet some nuzzles and kisses, kitty?" she suggested gently.
Wendy eyed the rabbit's long, furry feet and swallowed nervously, but she crouched down on all fours and tentatively pressed her nose into the thick-furred bottom of Ellie's right foot. It was musty with dirt and spicy with the delicate scent of the rabbit's bodily oils. Ellie lifted her other foot and stroked Wendy's cheek with the grimy fur. Wendy tried not to wince, and she turned and nuzzled this foot as well before giving it a little kiss. Ellie stroked Wendy's face with her feet whilst Wendy continued to give the rabbit's feet little kisses and nuzzles. Wendy's heart pounded in her chest as she buried her face in the dirty, musty fur and felt the rabbit's paws caress her cheeks and muzzle. Ellie watched her with a soft smile, and while Wendy felt a little humiliated by having the rabbit's feet in her face, she was filled with tender affection for her owner.
Finally, Ellie spoke again, "Now, wash them clean with your kitty tongue."
Wendy's heart skipped a beat as she heard the order she'd know had been coming. She nervously extended her tongue and stroked it through the rabbit's grimy fur. Dirt, grit, and spicy bunny oils coated her tongue, and she instinctively lifted her hand to wipe away the nastiness.
"No, swallow it," Ellie gently but firmly corrected.
Wendy lowered her hand and forced herself to swallow, feeling the grit scape down her throat, she held back a gag.
"Good kitty. Keep licking," Ellie coaxed.
Wendy glanced up at the rabbit, but there was no hint of malice in her soft, brown eyes. Her expression was filled with warmth and affection. Wendy's heart fluttered, and she looked away shyly. She could do this for her owner no matter how disgusting it might be! She had to show Ellie how much she loved her! Wendy stroked the rabbit's thick fur with her tongue again and forced herself to swallow.
Gradually, she got into the rhythm of bathing the rabbit's feet with her rough tongue. Her tongue stroked through the fur until it was clean, washing all sides. It pushed between the rabbit's toes, lapping up her spicy oils, and rasped under her claws to remove the dirt and grime. Part of Wendy rebelled against the disgustingness of the degrading task--the dirt and grit, and sweat that filled her mouth--but a larger part of her was filled with tender affection for her owner. Each time she met Ellie's eyes, warmth blossomed in her chest. It seemed to take forever, but finally, Ellie's foot was clean. Then Wendy lifted the rabbit's left foot and started the process all over again.
By the time Wendy was finally finished, she felt like she has swallowed a cup of dirt. Her stomach churned unhappily at the foul contents, and her tongue tasted like mud and rabbit sweat. Despite all this, Wendy looked up at the rabbit hopefully, eager to hear her praise.
"Good job, kitty," Ellie squeaked happily. "Go have a drink of water to rinse your mouth. Then we'll play more."
Glowing with her owner's praise, Wendy made her way up the stairs to have a glass of water. Jason was seated on the couch and gave her an awkward glance as she passed, and Wendy purred with amusement. Her brother was probably jealous of the attention Ellie was giving her, but Ellie was her owner too! He would have to learn to share! Wendy filled a glass and gratefully drank the cold tap water, swishing it in her mouth to cleanse it of the dirt. Despite Ellie not being there to see, she swallowed the lingering dirt instead of spitting it into the sink. Her stomach was the rightful receptacle for her owner's grime. With her mouth refreshed, she made her way back downstairs, casting Jason a cheeky look as she passed.
Entering the bedroom, she eagerly climbed back up onto the bed and handed the end of her leash to Ellie. The rabbit giggled.
"Aww, are you ready to play more, kitty? I'm glad you're having fun!" Ellie rolled over onto her stomach. "Now wash my tail!"
Wendy stared down at the bunny's fuzzy scut conflictedly. While her little tail was cute, the rabbit's anus was hidden just underneath that fluffy fur. Wendy would practically be licking her ass, and a simple slip of her tongue at the base of Ellie's tail could result in her literally doing just that!
Ellie glanced back at her with a soft smile, "Whenever you're ready, kitty," she coaxed.
Wendy steeled herself and crouched down before the rabbit's round, furry rear. She tentatively stretched out her tongue and lapped the rabbit's scut.
Ellie let out a sigh of pleasure, "Good kitty. Give it a nice wash for me."
Wendy still felt reluctant, but she wanted to please her owner. She began to stroke the rabbit's fuzzy scut with long laps of her rough tongue. Her tail wasn't really dirty, and the task didn't take nearly as much time as the rabbit's feet. Wendy tried not to think about her anus as she washed the base of her tail, but if she accidentally licked the rabbit's sphincter, she didn't notice. When Wendy was finished, Ellie rolled back over and gave her an amorous look.
"Such a good kitty," the doe crooned. "Are you ready for your next treat, kitty?"
Wendy nodded embarrassedly, wondering what the rabbit would make her do next. Being her pet was a little degrading, but she still adored her bunny owner.
"Then you can lick my pussy. Show me how much you love me and make me orgasm, kitty."
Wendy blushed, her ears getting hot, but there was nothing in the rabbit's tone that suggested she was joking! Everything before this had been foreplay before the oral sex! Wendy had known this might be coming, but she hadn't expected it to be so abrupt! However, her body was tense with anticipation! She would show Ellie how much she loved her, and she would get to taste the bunny! Her heart pounded against her ribs, and she felt moisture in her loins as she was filled with arousal. This was how she wanted to be Ellie's pet! This was the intimacy she'd been jealous of Jason for. She wanted her tongue inside her owner, bringing her absolute pleasure as she proved her devotion! Trying to contain her excitement, she crouched down between Ellie's thighs and sniffed the rabbit's vulva, opening her mouth to taste the hot, sharp scent of the doe's arousal intermingled with her warm, herbal aroma. Unable to contain herself, she let out a moan of pleasure, which caused Ellie to giggle.
"Dig in, kitty! One bunny pussy served up hot and juicy!" Ellie teased.
Wendy couldn't wait another moment! She pushed her muzzle into the doe's hot, juicy genitals and stroked her tongue between her labia. Savory, herbal juices coated her tongue, and she swallowed them eagerly. She nuzzled between the rabbit's labia until she felt the warm nub of her clitoris rub against her nose. Then she pushed her tongue between the rabbit's sensitive, juicy folds and began to lap her while her nose rubbed her clit. Ellie's juices flowed as the rabbit moaned and let out little squeaks of ecstasy, and Wendy hungrily lapped them up as she stimulated her fleshy vaginal walls. Her nose gently caressed the rabbit's clit, which throbbed hot with her rising euphoria. Wendy was in absolute bliss, her own vagina dripping with overflowing lubricating fluids. She was so enthralled, she didn't notice the sound of the door.
Ellie giggled, "Heeheehee, well, hello kitty! Did you want to get in on the fun? If your balls aren't too sore, Wendy could use some attention back there. Why don't you put your tongue to use?"
Wendy didn't stop licking the doe, but she blushed hot with embarrassment. Ellie was obviously joking, but what if Jason had taken her seriously? She squirmed her hips a little, imagining her brother's tongue in her vagina. It would be so scandalous and taboo! But would it be more so than what she was doing now? Ellie was meant to be her prey, not her lover and certainly not her owner! She was a rabbit's toy, so was there really anything that crossed the line now? She felt the bed sink under Jason's weight and looked back in surprise.
Ellie shoved her face back into her vulva. "Don't stop! If you want Jason to do the same for you, then lift your ass and tail. Otherwise, he can watch."
The sound of her heart pounded in her ears as Wendy considered what to do. Maybe she should just keep pleasuring Ellie. She was enjoying this, and there was no need to cross the line into incest, even if she was a rabbit's toy. Ellie wouldn't make them do anything. Besides, did Jason even want to?! She would feel like an idiot and a pervert if she lifted her tail and he refused.
Ellie stroked her head, "It's your choice, kitty. Maybe next time I'll be in the middle so we can all play together. It would be titillating to watch, but you don't have to just to entertain me."
It would entertain Ellie. Her owner wasn't merely giving them permission, she wanted to watch her littermate toys go at it. She wouldn't force them; she wouldn't order them as their owner. But she would enjoy it, and what was the purpose of a toy other than to entertain her owner? Imagine pleasing her owner by letting her brother lick her pussy! The idea was utterly degrading, stooping to incest for the rabbit's amusement. It would really be Jason who would be doing the worst thing. Her brother was the one who would be sticking his tongue in his sister's vagina. She would just be letting the pervert get to work! If he wanted to pleasure her in such a taboo and degrading way, then that was on him!
Still licking and nuzzling her owner's genitals, Wendy lifted her rear and her tail. She felt a cool waft of air as Jason sniffed her sopping vulva, and then his muzzle nudged against her butt! His warm tongue pushed inside her and caressed her sensitive folds. Wendy gasped and moaned in pleasure! She pushed her ass into her brother's face, lapping furiously at the rabbit's vagina in her heightened arousal!
Ellie moaned in ecstasy and pushed Wendy's face into her harder. "Fuck! That's it! Good kitty!"
Waves of pleasure rolled over her as Jason lapped her vagina. His tongue flicked over her clit, causing her to moan and her juices to flood his tongue. She could hear him slurping them up just as she drank Ellie's delicious juice. Her ass was pressed hard against his face, and she felt his nose against her asshole. He really was a pervert, shamelessly servicing his sister with his nose in her ass! They were both Ellie's toys, but at least Wendy hadn't sucked him off for the doe's amusement!
It made her feel she had a little power over him. She'd felt like she was the bottom of the heap, the unwanted sister who begged for the rabbit's charity, but Jason would do anything! He could be her toy if she wanted so long as Ellie would be amused by watching them! Clearly, the rabbit enjoyed watching her feline pets debase themselves, so there was nothing she couldn't make Jason do! What could possibly be worse than what he was doing right now?!
Ellie pushed her away panting, having had enough of Wendy's rough tongue, but Wendy still shoved her butt into Jason's face. Tidal waves of orgasmic pleasure crashed over her as she moaned and gasped. She let out a yowl of ecstasy as a powerful orgasm inundated her senses! At last, her legs gave out, and she collapsed down onto the bed with her muzzle still between Ellie's thighs, breathing heavily.
After a minute, the rabbit petted her head and sighed with pleasure, "What good kitties I have! Did you two have fun? It looked like you were enjoying playing together."
Wendy blushed uncomfortably. Now that the rush of endorphins had subsided, she was mortified that she'd offered herself to her brother!
"I enjoyed it," Jason meowed. "It felt a little wrong at first, but it felt good to make Wendy feel good. And I hope that watching was fun for you, Ellie."
"Oh, it was!" Ellie piped amusedly. "It made me think of all the possibilities! If my pets aren't afraid to play together, there's so much more fun we can have! It's good to have toys who will do whatever you want!"
She petted Wendy's head again, and Wendy felt a bit better knowing the others had enjoyed it. It was wrong and taboo and perverse, but what wasn't about being a rabbit's pet? She'd already left societal norms far behind by becoming a rabbit's slave. If she and Jason both consented and they all enjoyed themselves, then what was wrong with it? Here she was with her nose in a rabbit's crotch worrying about whether she'd be judged for having sex with her brother. It was ridiculous! They were both Ellie's pets, and their job was to please the rabbit. As long as no kittens who couldn't consent were created, there was no ethical dilemma.
"I-I liked it too," Wendy mewed shyly. "Th-thanks, Jason, it, uh, it felt good."
Jason purred, "I'm glad you enjoyed it, Wendy."
"Now that we're all in agreement that we liked that, you two can clean us up!" Ellie piped amusedly. "Wendy, you clean me up, and Jason can clean you up."
"I-I can take care of myself if Jason would rather do you," Wendy remarked embarrassedly. She wasn't sure she needed her brother licking her genitals again so soon!
"No, I prefer it the way I said it," Ellie dismissed. "Get to work, kitties!"
Wendy embarrassedly pushed her muzzle back into Ellie's crotch and began to lap her soaked fur clean, licking up her own saliva in addition to Ellie's secretions. She nervously raised her rear and lifted her tail, and after a moment, she felt Jason's warm tongue stroke her labia. Wendy blushed furiously, but neither washing nor being washed lasted long. At last, she sat up and glanced at Jason shyly. Her brother was far more familiar with her rear end than he ought to be now.
"It's time to cuddle!" Ellie declared. "Both of you kitties can cuddle me, and I'll lie in the middle."
Jason lay on the bed and pulled Ellie in against his chest, tucking her head under his jaw. Wendy hesitated a moment and then lay on the other side of the rabbit, facing her and her brother. At Ellie's direction, she snuggled close until Ellie was nestled between them, the little doe enwreathed by her kitties. In this position, Jason's face was only centimeters from her own. She stared nervously into his sea green eyes. Jason gave her a slow blink and purred. He reached up a hand to tenderly caress her cheek.
"I'm glad you're here, Wendy," he murmured. "I hope you're as happy as I am."
Wendy caught his hand and held it to her cheek, rubbing her cheek against him. "I love you, Jason," she breathed. "Not, I mean, I love you like my brother. I mean, I did have fun, but-"
Jason stroked her cheek, "I understand," he purred.
Wendy rubbed her cheek against his hand and purred, "I love you and Ellie. I'm glad that I'm here too."
Between the cats, Ellie sighed happily, "I love you too, kitties."

Ellie led her kitties home after another uneventful shift at the communal garden. The trouble with Gwen had been put behind them almost a month ago now. Her sister had thrown a fit when Ellie had told her she wouldn't be playing with her pets again, but once it became clear none of them were going to fall for her bluff a second time, the doe had stormed home, promising to get her own pet. Ellie didn't know whether or not to wish her luck. She had no love for predators generally, but after living with her sweet kitties for the past couple months, she wasn't sure any of them deserved Gwen's torture. Although, certainly, most predators weren't as nice as her pet kitties!
They were close to the burrow when Ellie scented a ferret! She froze, her nose quivering and ears swiveling. Jason and Wendy stopped and sniffed too. After a moment, a sable ferret crashed out of the underbrush and dashed toward them!
"Fitzie!" Jason yowled happily. The tom leapt forward and caught the ferret, hugging him tight.
Ellie frowned as she recognized the ferret she'd met a couple times before. What does he want?
"Why haven't you been in touch, Jason?!" the ferret fretted. "You said I'd still get to see you! I've missed you so much!"
Jason purred and stroked his skinny back. "I'm okay, Fitzie. Wendy and I have been getting used to being Ellie's pets. I didn't forget about you; I just wanted things to calm down before I invited you over."
"Wendy?" The ferret glanced around Jason at the queen and started in surprise. "W-why is your sister here?!" he hissed under his breath but plenty loud for Ellie and Wendy to hear.
Ellie wished the hob would leave.
"Wendy, um, decided to come with us, Fitzie," Jason explained. "She's happy too, don't worry. I know there were some rumors, but they weren't true. Wendy is happy she became Ellie's pet."
"I-I didn't believe the posters, but I can't believe you made your sister become a rabbit's slave!" the ferret whined anxiously. "Is that why you didn't want to see me? You never said anything about her becoming a slave too!"
"It was my choice!" Wendy meowed in annoyance. "But this is the first I've heard about you visiting! Go home! Predators don't belong here."
"I said he could visit," Jason replied. "I meant to check with Ellie first, but Fitzie is still my friend. I still want to be able to see him."
"You weren't going to see us!" Wendy cut back, upset. "What makes him different?!"
"I-I didn't think you'd understand," Jason mewed apologetically. "I'm sorry, Wendy."
"I think he should leave unless he wants to be a pet too!" Wendy rejoined angrily.
Ellie agreed with the queen, but she decided to be diplomatic. "He can come in for a little while, but he had better not cause any trouble," she warned. "Ferret, go through the front and wait by the door. We'll let you in."
The ferret looked at Jason questioningly, and the tom nodded. The hob hurried into the tunnel. Ellie sniffed in disgust. It would take forever to get the ferret stink out of things once he was gone!
Ellie led the cats in through the back. She let Jason open the front door for the ferret. The hob goggled around the room as he stepped inside.
"Nicer than you expected, huh?" Ellie drawled. "Jason, grab him a chair from the kitchen."
Ellie sat on the couch, and Wendy sat beside her. Jason hurriedly brought a wooden dining chair for the ferret and sat beside them. The hob gingerly sat in the chair and eyed the three of them uncomfortably.
"So you're, um, both her pets?" he asked uncomfortably. "What, um, what do you do?"
"Oh, lick my ass, have orgies," Ellie replied dryly. "You want in on it, do you? My asshole is kind of itchy if you do."
The ferret's beady eyes bulged, "Erm, n-no thanks."
"Jason will have to lick it when you're gone then," Ellie stated flatly.
"Sh-she's joking," Jason meowed embarrassedly.
Ellie glanced at the tom with a dismissive look, "Am not." She smiled at Wendy, "Do you think you could catch him for me, Wendy? We shouldn't let a predator escape when we can make sure he doesn't hurt anyone ever again."
Wendy leapt up with a toothy grin, "Oh, I can catch him! Can I catch him, Ellie?"
"N-no!" Jason yowled. "I said he could visit!"
Wendy gave him a withering glance, "And why does he get special rules? A predator is a predator. He'll learn to be a good pet."
The chair clattered to the floor as the hob dashed for the door. Wendy sprang after him with a growl, but he slipped out the door and slammed it shut behind him. Wendy raced for the stairs to chase him, but Ellie called for her to stop.
"He'll be gone. Let him go, Wendy" she said.
Wendy growled in frustration but tromped back over to the couch.
Jason looked mortified. "H-he just wanted to visit," he whined.
Ellie gave him a sympathetic look, "I know he used to be your friend, but he murders prey, sweetheart. He can't be your friend anymore."
"I understand," Jason mewed sadly.
Wendy sat down beside him and nuzzled his cheek comfortingly. "If he really wants to be your friend again, he can decide to become a pet!" she meowed cheerfully.
Ellie could tell Wendy was happy to have chased the ferret off, and she was glad to see the back of him too. Still, she knew Jason was upset. She leaned her head against his shoulder.
"You'll always have us, Jason," she murmured. "Now, it's time to lick my butt."

Gwendolen was passing by Ellie's burrow when she scented a ferret. She froze, sniffing and listening carefully, but it didn't seem to be anywhere around. However, as she tracked which way it had gone, she found it led into her sister's burrow! Gwendolen lit up with rage as she considered what that could mean. Either Ellie's useless pets had let a ferret get her or she was seducing yet another pet she wouldn't let Gwendolen play with. Of course, the ferret might have already left or might simply be investigating the hole. Regardless, Gwendolen wasn't going to just stand around and wait for it to come out. She picked up a big rock and snuck over to the side of the hole to hide. After only about a minute, she heard a door slam down the tunnel and the sound of skittering claws racing up the dirt tunnel. The ferret's pungent stink wafted up from the hole. Gwendolen raised the rock, and as ferret burst out of the hole, she slammed it down on its head! There was a satisfying clack as the rock met the ferret's skull, and it dropped to the ground, unconscious.
Gleefully, Gwendolen checked the ferret's pulse to make sure she hadn't killed it: she was pleased to find its heart still beating. She dragged it the rest of the way out of the hole and bound its arms and legs with some twine she'd been carrying recently in case of just such an opportunity. Inspecting her prize, she found the ferret was a hob. She couldn't wait to make her new toy scream, and this time, Ellie wouldn't steal it! She picked up his feet and quickly dragged the ferret toward home.
She was about halfway home when she heard a whimper and looked back to see the ferret blinking his eyes.
"W-what happened?" he whined.
"Quiet, or I'll hit you on the head again," Gwendolen warned.
The ferret whimpered, but he obediently remained quiet the rest of the trip. Gwendolen was lucky that she lived fairly close to her sister. The ferret was smaller than her but still difficult to drag quickly. She dragged him into her burrow with a mixture of relief and excitement. No one had stopped her; he was all hers now!
Gwendolen dragged the ferret inside and regarded her bondage table with mild annoyance. She would need to make some alterations before she could put the ferret on it. He was much smaller than the cats. Still, he was at her mercy, and his small size made it that much easier to do what she wanted with him.
"Wh-who are you?" the ferret whined nervously. "What do you want with me?"
Gwendolen turned to look down at the captured predator and grinned toothily. "I'm Gwendolen, and you belong to me!"
