"Where am I?" Zoe questioned herself as she stood up slowly in a strange place she wouldn't have imagined she'd ever be "What- oh... no- Sephirotmon... I'm inside Sephirotmon!" she thought to herself and tried to walk around, only to hear a strange buzzing sound, which she soon found it was some bug digimon around.
"Hey look!" one of the bee like digimon said as he descended near Zoe, followed by others same as him near her.
"It's a human girl isn't it?" another one questioned, still flapping his wings.
These digimon which were somewhat smaller than Zoe in height, wearing something shiny that looked like armor, approached her. A sweat drop fell down behind her head as she was getting worried and wondering what in blazes she was going to do with so many Digimon around her, were they going to hurt her? What was she supposed to do now?
She took a step back and the bee shaped like digimon got closer to her, which made her put a hand on her D-Scanner ready to use it and digivolve to Kazemon or Zephyrmon to beat the crap out of them, but she stopped when the little one smiled and backed off a bit.
"She's cute!" a sole bee digimon said. Zoe sweat dropped once again.
"Indeedy!" said an even smaller one, smiling and flying around her.
"Well... they don't look so evil." Zoe thought to herself, and then loosened her tight grip on her D-Scanner.
"So... uhm- who are you?" she asked them while staring weirdly at them.
"HoneyBeemon!" the little one answered cheerfully while flying happily around, making Zoe let out a giggle from the amusing show.
After some time, Zoe began conversing with them, and in minutes they had become her friends. The only problem was- someone had decided to interrupt the peaceful moment, and that someone was no other than Duskmon.
"What?!" Zoe said aloud out of startle while looking at the tall black armored digimon.
"You'll be the first one..." Duskmon coldly said as he neared Zoe.
She acted fast and withdrew her D-Scanner once again and raised it, the emblem of the Beast-Spirit of Wind appeared on the screen and she raised one hand, which was suddenly surrounded by a stream of data.
As soon as her hand neared her D-Scanner, Zoe started to glow, her body filled with a soft light as she pushed her opened hand against the D-Scanner, a bit further from it, but that was the point as some sparkles came out while she slowly yet strongly drove her hand down and the D-Scanner up from friction the energy coming out of the device was producing. "Digi-Spirit," she started, and the glow intensified "Execute!" she continued. Suddenly, she flashed and her clothes all burst from her glowing form, leaving her naked body as she was suspended in air while the armor of wind separated into pieces and impaled themselves into Zoe in their respective places, making her glow dark with the shades that covered her from behind now. She flashed white once again.
"Zephyrmon!" Zephyrmon appeared in the battlefield, floating in air for a bit- while narrowing her eyes at Duskmon.
"So you think you can defeat me?" he taunted. "Heh, don't make me laugh" Duskmon laughed silently as he readied his weapon to attack, but for both Zephyrmon's and Duskmon's surprise, the HoneyBeemon got between both of them, seemingly angry at dark digimon.
"Leave our new friend alone!" some of them yelled, and then covered their ground as they stayed in front of Zephyrmon, who was blinking at seeing their barricade to protect her.
"Bah. Insolent brats..." Duskmon muttered and then simply swung his weapon really hard, making a huge blast which unfortunately hit the HoneyBeemon... deleting them all in a powerful blast and making a massive blast of energy from data appear, which started to strangely react in the battlefield.
"What?! NO!" Zephyrmon cried. "The HoneyBeemon... died... trying to protect me..." she worriedly said while widening her eyes.
Something behind her seemed to be opening, there was too much data around- and that made Sephirotmon's created space distort, thus creating a dimensional rift. She saw it and looked back for a bit; guessing it had to be an exit.
"Oh no- you stay here!" Duskmon said as he dragged his attention from the flowing data and went to Zephyrmon.
Knowing she wouldn't stand a chance there and then, she nodded to herself and jumped through the entrance that had just appeared, which swallowed her and then closed.
"Damn... she escaped..." Duskmon complained to himself, but then shook his head and decided to leave that place to go and confront someone else...
Meanwhile, in another dimension... or precisely, the 02 dimension's digital world...
TK, Kari, Davis, Yolei and Cody were walking along with their digimon partners, seeming to be looking for something to do to help with the digimon emperor's threat, but they just stopped to rest near some trees to kick back and enjoy the moment of peace and quiet.
"Why doesn't she ever talk to me...?" Veemon thought to himself, a bit disappointed, as he took a look on Gatomon. The feline digimon who was laughing- more like giggling as Patamon was with her, talking while chuckling. "Why is she always... with... him...?" he asked himself in his thoughts, lowering his ears. "I want to be with her... but how can I do that if she ignores me all the time?"
"Something's wrong Veemon?" Davis asked Veemon as he caught a glimpse of his face's expression, putting a hand on his shoulder.
Veemon just shrugged and smiled to Davis "I'm okay Davish! Nothing to worry of!" he grinned as he looked onto the sky chuckling, obviously hiding what he was thinking.
"Now that's the Veemon I know," Davis chuckled.
Yolei and Kari were talking and enjoying themselves while TK and Cody were just talking about what they'd do next.
"Now I wonder if this'll be the right time to," Veemon started saying while walking up to Gatomon and Patamon, but suddenly- a blast occurred. Some small digimon came out running away as a huge Mega digimon, SkullMammothmon, walked nearby the digidestined and their digimon, his eyes glowed red as he looked on them.
"What is that?!" TK loudly said as he stepped back, same as everyone did.
"I don't think he's friendly...'' Kari added as she took another step back, but Gatomon stepped forward, as well as the others, decided to fight to protect their partners.
"Guys!" Davis said as he nodded to his four teammates, then all of them nodded back and took out their D-3's, pointing at their respective digimon, then all of them shouted in unison: "Digi-Armor Energize!!" and each of their D-Terminals transferred 5 Digi-Eggs to the respective D-3's and they sent the data to their partners.
"Veemon armor digivolves to..." the Digi-Egg of courage appeared and fused up with Veemon, engulfing him in flames, making his body grow in height and giving him a more teenager-like appearance, in his feet and claws- boots and gauntlets appeared respectively, and both pair of them sprouted three blade-like claws, a knee pad on each knee appeared, a chest armor as well, and finally a mask that covered his face, which sprouted a mid-long blade-like horn. "Flamedramon! Fire of Courage!" Flamedramon exclaimed with his more adult-like voice and spread his arms, ready for the fight.
"Armadillomon armor digivolves to..." the Digi-Egg of knowledge appeared and fused up with Armadillomon, covering him in a rocky armor, suddenly, he started to change form to a beetle like sculpture, which broke apart as drills came out as claws and a nose, revealing a big bug in a yellow armor with drills for toes, claws and nose. "Digmon! Drill of Power!" Digmon said as he looked on SkullMammothmon ready to attack.
"Hawkmon armor digivolves to..." the Digi-Egg of love appeared and fused up with Hawkmon, engulfing him in a bright light which made him change form and grow in size, an armor appeared over his head and partly the back of his new body along with two metal like wings, the creature standing on four claws. "Halsemon! Wings of Love!" Halsemon said narrowing his eyes at his enemy, getting aware for any move.
"Patamon armor digivolves to..." the Digi-Egg of hope appeared and fused up with Patamon, his body glowing and making him grow in size, till giving him a horse-like form, an armor decorated him from his chest to his head, his batwings still as his ears, but lot smaller, big angel-like wings sprouted from his back, his head with some long blonde hair now and two golden boots on each frontal leg. "Pegasusmon! Flying Hope!" Pegasusmon said and slammed the ground with one paw back while looking on SkullMammothmon with his eyes narrowed.
"Gatomon armor digivolves to..." the Digi-Egg of light appeared and fused up with Gatomon, her body engulfed in a pink and glowing light as she changed her form to bigger in size, quite like Patamon, an armor appeared from her chest to head, leaving her face all covered by a mask, her cat tail grew a little longer, and she sprouted two angel-like wings from her back as well, her frontal legs with two silver and gold boots. "Nefertimon! Angel of Light!" Nefertimon's feminine voice echoed as she stood besides Pegasusmon, her head pointing at SkullMammothmon.
"Go get him guys!" Yolei cheered.
"Don't let him beat you Pegasusmon!" TK gave another cheer.
"Come on Flamedramon! Go and kick his butt!" Davis added yet another cheer.
All of the digimon prepared their attacks, and then suddenly, launched all of them at once.
"Fire Rocket!" Flamedramon charged some fireballs and shot them at SkullMammothmon.
"Gold Rush!" Digmon launched all his drills like projectiles to his enemy.
"Eagle Eye!" Halsemon shot two red beams from two spikes nearby his muzzle.
"Star Shower!" Pegasusmon flapped his wings once and sent some big glowing stars flying.
"Rosseta Stone!" Nefertimon back sent a light in air, and suddenly from the light some rosseta stones started to fly to SkullMammothmon.
All the attacks connected and made a huge explosion against SkullMammothmon, a little bit later, the dust from the explosion cleared and the Mega level digimon just stayed there without even a single scratch.
"That's impossible!" Cody said blinking in surprise.
"He doesn't even have a scratch!" Kari added starting to worry.
"Come on guys we can't give up just yet!" Davis told all of them to at least encourage them.
Meanwhile, in a nearby deserted block of the forest near the river...
A rift appeared out of nowhere, and then Zephyrmon came down with a thud on the ground nearby some trees.
"Where... oww... where am I...?" Zephyrmon asked herself once again confused, it seemed to be the same place as she was before, but this place had light, so she couldn't be in Sephirothmon anymore, she stood up and flopped her wings backwards to accommodate, then went walks around for a bit.
For her bad luck- a group of controlled Tuskmon's where around, sent by the digimon emperor as always to capture other digimon. "Digimon are here too? I think they might be able to help me..." she said to herself and went to where the Tuskmon were. Bad mistake- they turned around and glared at her with their red glowing eyes "Is there something... wrong?" she asked them but they simply growled and one of them went near her running.
"Slamming Tusk!" the Tuskmon went ahead and hit the confused Zephyrmon, sending her flying to a tree.
"Agh!" she gasped as she stood up, not really harmed anyways, but still surprised, she immediately narrowed her eyes- looking on the Tuskmon and ready to attack, but she instead leaped to the side as there where just too much of them and flew ahead from the trees forward, not knowing that that was the direction where the digidestined where fighting with SkullMammothmon, however- all the Tuskmon followed her while roaring.
At the same time, the five armor digimon were being slowly pummeled by the SkullMammothmon, who was really pissed off from their attacks and started to swing with his trump really hard at them, then performing his technique. ''T-Bone Attack!'' the Mega level digimon growled and threw some hard bones at Digmon, who was stricken hard and thrown away.
"Halsemon, help Digmon!" Yolei commanded and Halsemon nodded, went to Digmon, but another figure appeared, who grabbed Digmon and set him on the ground.
"What?" Halsemon thought as he didn't see Digmon anymore, but saw him safe on the ground nearby.
"What was that?" Digmon asked himself, and then looked on the controlled Tuskmon that had come. "Oh snap!" Digmon moved back and raised his arms to then point his drills to the ground. "Rock Cracker!" he hit the ground really hard and caused a fissure to make the Tuskmon stop advancing, but some moved really hard and went to fight with him instead of just falling, but Halsemon intercepted them with his Tempest Wing.
"Where do they keep coming from?!" Halsemon growled, then is knocked by a Tuskmon, but Flamedramon who was nearby and saw the Tuskmon almost finishing Halsemon off, jumped and charged him with his Fire Rocket.
"Raaargh!!" a Tuskmon roared and tried to attack Flamedramon with his horns, but the blue dragon digimon grabbed both horns in his claws and pressed really hard gritting his fangs.
"Grrr..." Flamedramon growled and kept struggling against the Tuskmon- unfortunately another one tried to charge him with his Slamming Tusk, but the same figure went ahead and charged the Tuskmon, sending him flying to the ground with force.
Zephyrmon was now visible to everyone as she had now joined the good digimon against the both the Tuskmon and SkullMammothmon, she by now knew which were good, and which didn't seem to be good at all. "Hurricane Gales!" Zephyrmon yelled and shot two wind blasts with energy swirling inside, which crashed with the Tuskmon and sent him flying again.
At the same time Pegasusmon and Nefertimon kept attacking SkullMammothmon, surrounding as their front leg's boots glowed gold. "Golden Noose!" both winged digimon said in unison and two golden lights connected on each other's boots, then they started to bind the large digimon with it.
"They got him!" TK said smiling in relief.
"Good Job!" Kari cheered relieved as well.
"Uh-oh..." Cody said as he looked on SkullMammothmon roaring and breaking the bind of both winged digimon, making them fall to the ground hard.
"Doesn't that thing ever lose strength?!" Yolei complained at looking SkullMammothmon nearing both Pegasusmon and Nefertimon.
"We can't give up just yet!" Davis said in an angered tone.
"Careful!" Pegasusmon yelled as he tried to put himself in place in front of Nefertimon, but SkullMammothmon used his T-Bone Attack and hit her really hard, sending her flying to the rocky wall nearby, causing it to crack from the impact.
"Argh!" Nefertimon grunted in pain as she glowed pink and reverted to her Gatomon form, the Digi-Egg of Light went flying to Kari's D-Terminal and Gatomon stayed on the ground damaged.
"Gatomon!" Flamedramon grunted as he started to struggle really hard against the Tuskmon, being able to see how she was left after SkullMammothmon attacked her.
"Equs's Beam!" Pegasusmon's forehead glowed light blue, then he shot a beam directly at SkullMammothmon with all his strength, which slightly pulled the large digimon back- but in exchange, Pegasusmon received a full charge from the Mega digimon, sending him in to the ground really hard, leaving him glowing yellow as he reverted to his rookie form as well and the Digi-Egg of Hope flew to TK's D-Terminal.
"Gatomon!" Kari squealed.
"Patamon!" TK yelled.
At seeing both of them just near being stomped by SkullMammothmon, Flamedramon struggled so hard with the Tuskmon, that he lifted him by his horns while growling. "Get off me you super sized dinosaur!!" he growled even louder and then slammed him against the ground really hard from his horns- then quickly ran to where Patamon and Gatomon where, both of them unconscious from the blows they had taken.
Flamedramon jumped to SkullMammothmon and charged him while yelling "Fire Rocket!" and he indeed hit him- but SkullMammothmon shook of from him, sending him to the ground but Flamedramon, not even near of giving up- stood up and latched on the large digimon's trump, attempting to slash him with his claws.
Zephyrmon, who already had taken care of two Tuskmon on her own, saw SkullMammothmon fighting, so she narrowed her eyes and quickly flew to him and Flamedramon, then kicked SkullMammothmon really hard, making him drop Flamedramon.
"Bad mistake!" The Mega digimon announced as he now ignored Flamedramon, Patamon and Gatomon and simply started to do heavy stomps as he walked to Zephyrmon, who had floated away from him and decided to land on the ground while preparing her attack once more "T-Bone Attack!" he roared and executed his attack much faster than Zephyrmon could charge her technique to use it, the bone was heading to Zephyrmon really fast, and she had been charging her attack, which made her lose the little time she had to escape, but something happened before it hit her... Flamedramon hurried to place himself in front of Zephyrmon and open his arms wide to take the attack.
Zephyrmon gasped and wide opened her eyes as she saw him place himself in such dangerous situation, but didn't have time to react, as the attack hit Flamedramon really hard- making him grunt from almost agonizing pain- however, he was sent flying knocking Zephyrmon with him to the cliff and to the river nearby them, both digimon fell into the water.
"FLAMEDRAMON!!" Davis gasped and hurried to the cliff with TK behind him, Davis was about to jump to the water- but TK pulled his arm.
"Davis NO!" TK pulled him to prevent Davis from jumping.
"Let me go! He's my friend and he'll die if I don't help him!" Davis yelled clearly annoyed.
"Don't be a fool! If you jump you'll die for sure! Flamedramon won't die from that little! And if you die, you won't be able to see him anymore!'' TK yelled back.
Davis stayed silent. SkullMammothmon was approaching them by now- fortunately, Kari took the chance and with the help of Yolei, she picked up Patamon and Gatomon unconscious forms.
TK looked on SkullMammothmon gritting his teeth, knowing it would be really hard now to survive since they were in the verge of the cliff.
"Rock Cracker!" Digmon's voice was heard and a fissure again appeared, but it was made across SkullMammothmon, which cracked nearby part of the cliff where he was walking on and it started to tremble.
"Move on Davis!" TK ordered and pushed Davis away, forcing him to run along so they left that section of the cliff as the fissure now surrounded SkullMammothmon.
"Come on do it!" Cody said with his punches closed.
"Tempest Wing!" Halsemon growled and started spinning really fast, turning himself into a flying tornado, hitting SkullMammothmon the hardest he could, making the cracked part finally go off.
"No! Damn you!" SkullMammothmon tried to act, but as he was to big, he couldn't move properly, which made the section he was crumble down and fall along with the large digimon to the river as well.
Digmon and Halsemon clearly exhausted, surrounded by the now unconscious and freed Tuskmon glowed respectively from their lights of Digi-Eggs and reverted to their respective rookie forms, the Digi-Eggs returned to the owner's D-Terminal.
"Davis, you ok?" TK asked Davis as he let him go, but he only looked down.
Davis doesn't say anything, just looks down to the floor.
"Davis- nothing bad will happen to Flamedramon..." TK replied to his silence.
Suddenly, Davis looked on TK with a glare "It's easy for you to say'' he said coldly "You still have Patamon here and with you!'' he yelled. TK didn't want to get it worse, so he stayed silent.
"Davis... everything will be fine, don't worry please..." Kari said, approaching with Gatomon in her arms, Davis looked on her and didn't even try to argue with her, just stared silently at the young girl with the cat digimon in her arms.
"Everyone here had taken the same risk, and Flamedramon is one of the toughest, he won't fall down easily" Cody affirmed.
"We'll find him Davis, we'll help you" Yolei added.
Davis looked on them and nodded slowly, he was hiding back his tears.
"That's the way- don't you worry Davis, we'll find him in no time!" Kari smiled to him and then everyone- except Davis of course, carried their tired digimon while walking along the river, following the current hoping to find his lost friend.
By now, Flamedramon and Zephyrmon both were dragged by the river fast, they were at least six to eight miles away from the battlefield, but they had enough luck to end in a cave in a shore. Both were unconscious for some while, but Zephyrmon woke up first, shook her head and stood up, holding her face with one of her claws for a bit.
"Oww... what happened?" she questioned herself and then noticed Flamedramon "You..." she said in awe, then quickly reacted and grabbed Flamedramon by his shoulders, dragging him inside the cave and laying him softly in the ground near a wall, then started on him. He was in pretty bad condition; he was really damaged from the battle and the direct attack of SkullMammothmon. Surprisingly, he was all covered in some blood and had lots of wounds, but he hadn't digidevolved- nor was dying. "I have to help him somehow..." she thought to herself, then slowly put her claw on him, she felt his scaly body as he put her claw on his belly, which seemed to feel like tough- even Flamedramon's body looked like a thin lizard with armor- armor which Zephyrmon decided to remove from him so he could feel more comfortable.
She looked on his wounds and bleeding, she didn't have anything nearby her to help him- not a first aid med kit- not medicine- not band aids wait- band aids?
"Hmm..." she mumbled as she looked on her own outfit, wondering something "I don't think if this is a good idea..." she thought in one way and shook her head "But if I don't stop his bleeding... Oh hell with it!" she decided herself and suddenly grabbed her outfit with both her claws, closed her eyes and turned blushing. "He's asleep... what am I thinking...?" she sighed, then tried to take out her outfit once- seeing as it wouldn't even come out, she sighed again. Some while later, Flamedramon woke up, he was kind of confused at seeing on dark and some light ahead from the cave, he stayed on the ground and didn't move as he was still enduring some pain. However, just a little bit later he decided to force himself to move, he sat up and placed both claws on his sides- but something was different, the ground on his right claw suddenly felt all soft and tender, he found it strange that only his right claw felt that, but at looking on the right and down, he then knew why.
