''Well, at least now I can talk!'' Demi-Veemon smiled cutely to Davis, wagging his tail around.
''I guess... strange they aren't here... but oh well, care for some pizza?'' said Davis, ''There's still yesterday's'' he suggested with a shrug of shoulders.
Demi-Veemon's eyes lit up, ''Yay! The pizza from yesterday tasted really good! I'm in for that!'' he cheered.
''Okay!'' Davis said and left him on the table, then went to the fridge.

Cody just nodded, ''Well... I agree that it has been just too much time, we should start without him'' he said and stared on them waiting for a reply, Gatomon's ears lowered for a bit.
TK sighed and shook his head, ''Good point... we can't wait for him any longer, even Veemon would be really helpful here... we can't keep wasting time'' he said while nodding to Cody.
Patamon grinned, ''Well... Veemon will sure miss the action!'' he flapped his wings backwards while smiling on top of TK's head.
Kari then crossed her arms and looked on them, ''Guess you are all right, we'll have to start to scout the area without them both, so... do we go then?''
Gatomon swished her tail slowly and frowned for a bit, ''But weren't we going to do a group scout?'' she tried to gain a little time by adding that.
Kari then had an idea, ''Well, why don't we separate to cover more ground till Davis gets back?'' she suggested, then continued. ''We won't have to go so far, and we'll return in a bit here to see if he comes after all.''
TK nodded ''That's a good idea Kari, are you sure you are going to be ok alone?'' he asked Kari.
''You always so caring, aren't you?'' Kari giggled.
TK blushed and smiled nervously, ''Ehh... right, but... are you sure you and Gatomon can handle?''
Kari crossed her arms and smiled, ''Come on TK, I'm no little girl, and Gatomon is really strong, we can manage perfectly'' she finished and went to Gatomon, patting her head once.
''Come on Gatomon... we are going to scout south,'' she then turned her head to the other three, ''Alright, I'll see you later guys.''
Cody nodded as well as TK, ''Right.'' and then they headed for different points.
Yolei nodded to Kari, ''Use your D-Terminal if you need help, I'll see you Kari!'' she winked while smiling and with Hawkmon, she went running to another place as well.
''Well... I guess it's the two of us now Gatomon, I think we are going to check there.'' Kari pointed with her index finger to the forest south of their current location.
Gatomon just raised a smile and nodded, then both of them started to walk to the forest, going straight inside and checking around, unfortunately, someone seemed be following both girls, good or bad... they'd have to find out... sooner... or later.

''Damn, the guys are going to kill me...'' Davis frowned and sweatdropped, then ran to his bedroom and changed in a flash, grabbing his blue D-3 and D-Terminal in his pockets and went to his partner, but he jumped on his shoulder and sat down besides his head.
''Well... let's go buddy!'' Davis slightly smiled and hurried to the school, leaving almost a dust cloud as he ran by till he got to school, finally getting himself to the Computer Room.
''Yup, they are gone.'' Demi-Veemon said and jumped to the table near the PC where the Digi-Port program seemed to be activated.
''Then what are we waiting for?'' Davis says and takes out his D-3, pointing it at the PC's screen, ''Digi-Port open!'' and at yelling, Demi-Veemon and Davis were both surrounded by a flash that came from the PC, then they were both sucked inside the Digi-Port, which transferred Davis and Demi-Veemon, making him grow to his rookie form, Veemon, to the Digital World, making them appear exactly where everybody was waiting for him before.

''Right.'' Davis takes out his D-3 again and tries to find some, for now, it was just pinpointing to the woods, just south of them, two dots that are suddenly stopped, ''Hmm?'' he blinked, ''At least this aren't moving...'' he said as he saw the other ones moving away from them.
''Guess it'll be easier to go to the woods!'' Davis finished and went to Veemon.
''Right, let's go look for them!'' Veemon said and Davis nodded, then both of them ran to the woods.
By now Gatomon and Kari stopped, looking around in silence.

''Gatomon!'' Kari looked on Gatomon while she took her pink D-3 and pointed it to her digimon, she nodded, but Kari's D-3 was slapped from her hand by one Floramon that acted faster than them.
''Kari!'' Gatomon suddenly gritted her teeth and narrowed her eyes to the Floramon, ''Don't dare to touch her!'' Gatomon almost growled to the Floramon, ''Lighting Paw!'' And she hit her enemy really hard with her right paw, sending her flying away to some Floramon, but that made all of them gang up on Gatomon and start to beat the crap out of her.
''Gatomon! No!'' ''Come on do it!'' Veemon said and nodded.
''Digi-Armor Energize!'' and from the D-3, the Digi-egg of Courage emerged and it joined Veemon, making the little blue dragon be engulfed in flames.
''Veemon Armor Digivolves to....'' and his body got taller as well, the fire starting to merge with some parts of his body, including feet, knees, claws, chest and face, turning into a red and orange armor, from his feet and claws, even sharper claws emerged, and from his mask, a blade-horn emerged straight up. ''Flamedramon, the Fire of Courage!''
The Fire Dragon appeared on the battle field and his body was engulfed by flames ''Fire Rocket!'' he yelled and charged at the Floramon really hard, he attempting to take away all the Floramon that were near Kari, but he noticed Angewomon ''Angewomon!'' he said and gritted his fangs, then charged up fire in his knuckles and then started to fire them at all the Floramon near the angel digimon.
''Kari!'' Davis exclaimed and ran to Kari, but as soon as he got there, some Floramon shot their pollen at him, enough to make him fall deep asleep.
''Davis!'' Flamedramon turned his head and saw Davis knocked out, then started to madly slash all the Floramon around Angewomon, when he finished, he ran to Davis.
Angewomon by now had got up, she made a bow appear on her hands and she prepared an arrow. ''Celestial Arrow!'' she shot the holy arrow to a lot of other Floramon, they had almost gotten rid of them all.
Flamedramon slashed really hard any approaching enemy and set Davis besides Kari, then he turned around to stay in front of the two unconscious humans, charging up fire in his claws again as Angewomon leaped to where Flamedramon so both of them surrounded their defenseless partners.

''I think... we are just going to have to go to the others, it's quite late now... we should go and re-group with TK and the others.'' she explained, then carried Gatomon as she looked on her D-3, showing 6 dots not too far from them, ''There they are, they are looking for us!'' she smiled to Davis.
''That's great! Let's go Kari!'' Davis grinned and then ran with both Veemon and Kari while carrying Gatomon to the others.
