The sun outside was shining on a the day just begun at the Roth's modest mansion, where a lone otterfox sat at the kitchen table. Still there long after Benjamin had left Michael stared at the hallway where the young husky had bounded through. Here he was, an adult, just agreed to be the boyfriend of a twelve year old. His otterfurred fox ears twitched, still having just a little trouble wrapping his mind around the events of last night and this morning. Though it wasn't bad. He reminded himself. It's what Ben wanted, and simply realizing that and allowing himself to forget the husky's age...yes, that was it. With a sigh he got up, getting a glass out of a cupboard over the sink and headed to the fridge, pouring himself some orange juice. Leaning back against the counter he sipped while still in thought.
What the hell would Ricardo and Jan think? He snorted into the glass in front of his muzzle. He'd cross that bridge when he came to it. Ben probably knew that it wouldn't be anytime soon that either of his parents would notice anything; as much as they both loved them they were gone too much. Finishing the glass he took it to the sink and washed it. Michael had to admit one thing, even though he hadn't considered the boy at all before, the idea was growing on him pretty fast. There hadn't been anyone in his life for a long time. Who was to say it wouldn't work? Like Benjamin had pointed out, Ben knew he was going to be involved with an adult. And the husky had always regarded his word as contract. Ben WAS serious. He repeated to himself. And I can't deny that Ben has a way with his muzzle. He thought with a little smile.
I wonder what his ass is like.
That thought caught him short, making him blink and his loins to swell up as he dried his paws. He tried to chastise himself, telling himself that he shouldn't think of such things yet. He'd told Benjamin to behave after all. There was no point in risking anything by going too fast, was there? But why not? He's gone down on you at least once. He doesn't have any problem being sexual with you.
On the way to the room that served as his office he passed by a shelf of pictures in the living room. One of them was Benjamin standing by himself in a park grinning at the camera. Stopping beside it he decided to try an experiment, testing his feelings, imagining taking off Ben's clothes off one piece at a time...and was embarassed to find himself slipping out of his sheath. Damn, that quick? This is moving really fast! He lifted the picture off the shelf and sat down in one of the chairs in the livingroom, cradling the frame in his paws. So damn fast. But...he is rather cute. The barriers were falling more rapidly than he'd thought possible, his attraction to Benjamin growing. Getting up again he replaced the picture before continuing on to the work of the day. At least it was his idea.
"Michael!" Ben burst through the front door breathlessly. Just as soon as the door closed the heavy bookbag slung over his shoulders dropped to the floor in the high celilinged entryway with a heavy thump. His ears perked, listening, anxiously rushing through the house. "Michael? Where are you?"
Just as he was turning to go down the hallway towards Michael's office he felt two powerful furry arms arrest his forward momentum, lift him up, wrap around him like a straight jacket, pinning his arms to his side. He was turned around and a great big furry warm caramel colored muzzle press to his. "Eep!"
His digitigrade hindpaws dangling from Michael's powerful embrace, Benjamin's eyes went wide in shock, then his ears slowly drooped down in bliss from the otterfox tongue that expertly pushed into his muzzle, lapping slowly. Ben would have returned the tight warm hug if he were able, but forced to hang there from Michael's arms he pressed back into the kiss. Michael pulled back several times to break the kiss but each time the otterfox tried Ben's tongue followed the retreating adult, caressing the older fur's pink ribbon midair between the muzzles hanging close together, drawing Michael back into his warmth. And each time Michael obliged, extending the kiss, breaths mingling together as the bond already forming between them deepened with each each connection of their muzzles. Ben shivered as the sheet of otterfox flesh explored inside him, arching his tongue, letting the slick heat of Michael slip along his bed of tongue, trembling as the adult accepted him again and again. Benjamin finally let Michael pull back, panting softly and blushing, hoping Michael didn't mind the monsterous erection in his pants pressed against him. Michael looked down on the boy in his arms, feeling much the same way, his heart fluttering in his chest. This was right for him, he now knew, and glad he had given Ben a chance.
Finally Michael had gathered himself together enough to speak. "You're late, I was beginning to worry."
"I'm so sorry Michael, I was trying to hurry and finish my homework at school so we'd have the whole night together." His ears splayed out sheepishly. "I missed the first bus so had to wait for the late one." The husky said as Michael loosened his grip and set the boy on his hindpaws.
"Aw, and I had a lot planned for when you got home. Since it's late, how about we just go out for ice cream instead?"
Ben blushed, feeling his heart skip again from those words as Michael ruffled his headfur. Michael's presence at home too finally putting his fears of being abandoned to rest. He stood up on his tip toes, just barely tall enough to kiss Michael on the cheek. "That sounds just great." His neck fur fluffed out, feeling a tingle on his lips from Michael's fuzz. "And has anyone ever told you what a great kisser you are?"
"Not in a very long time. How about you? Anyone ever tell you how well you kiss?"
"Really?" Ben shivered, amazed that Michael would consider his efforts any good at all.
Michael leaned down and smooched the husky pre-teen on his left whisker patch. "None better. Honest. Are you ready to go or would you like to change?"
Left speechless Ben reddened deeply. He looked into Michael's hazel eyes. "I'm ready."
"After you then cute stuff."
"Wuff!" Cute! Me! His eyes shining brightly, Benjamin's feet felt light again as they went through the kitchen, a utility room and down some steps to the garage set beneath the house. The whole way his tail wagged, lifted it up, showing off his rump to the otterfox behind to tease Michael as much as possible. Seeing the older fur licking his chops he could tell it was working. Finally they emerged into the rather large parking area, enough for his family and the house staff. There were only two cars there today, Michael's, and a multipurpose carryall that could be used for errands. Benjamin flicked the lights on and Michael's sports car lit up in its deep dark blue paintjob and little bright points of gold and silver. He hurried over to the passenger side and pulled open the door. He sat and buckled into the low slung seat excitedly. A gleam in his eye, Benjamin reached his paw out, letting it slide along the curve of Michael's slacks. He sighed feeling the muscles tense and relax as the otterfox settled. His whole paw resonated with the warmth from the fur beneath the pants, letting Michael's rump rest on his fingerpads.
"Feel anything you like?" There was a smile there.
Ben ducked his head, ears folding back as he smiled back shyly, pulling his paw out from between otterfox ass and leather. "Y, yeah."
"Don't worry Ben. You'll get lots more chances today."
Husky ears perked up.
"I think you're right, sleeping with you would be perfect tonight."
Benjamin let out a little yip, his tail wagging hard through the cutout in the back of the seat. "Wow, oh wow."
Michael chuckled, slipping the key into the ignition and the engine turned over, catching instantly. With concrete walls echoing the muted rumble of the V12 under the hood Michael eased out the clutch, hitting a button on the dash to open the nearest garage door. It was still light out but the shadows were lengthening as they pulled out into the drive.
The mansion sat on twenty acres of Galawan's most upscale suburbian real estate which itself was situated on the outskirts of the metropolitan area. There was nothing behind but rolling farmland. In fact the whole of Galawan's upper class neighborhood sat at the top of the hills that embraced the south eastern side of the city below. Galawan itself straddled the Aiuran river and filled the valley, the city of 100,000 stretching across the plains to the north and west. The city center hugged the river front, clearly visible from here. Consiting of the commercial district with its tall dark blue granite and glass offices and trading centers, currently glowing yellow orange with the waning sun's light.
"I'll behave, I promise." Ben said, pressing a button on the passenger side armrest to roll his window down. It was still warm though the air was cooling. "I never thought you'd say yes. At least not for awhile."
Michael reached over and gave the boy's knee a squeeze before shifting gears again, heading down the long private drive. "I figure what the heck, we're boyfriends now, aren't we?"
Benjamin felt a new wave of heat wash over his muzzle, giddy with excitement. The acceleration pushed him back into the plush seat but all he could think about was how quickly Michael was accepting him. His fluffy tail thumped against the side of the car, his wildest dreams being fulfilled right here as the trees lining the drive glided by faster.
The gate at the far end opened and the rumble of the engine subsided as the car turned out onto the public road, then picked up again as Michael pulled out, leaving behind the Roth estate. The city center that contained all the shops was only a few miles away and it passed quickly. The further along they went the closer the houses grew together, soon stopping at a light in the middle class districts. Waiting for the light change Michael looked over at Ben.
"I was thinking of Callie's. That okay with you?"
"Who's?"
"You've never been to Callie's? Home of the double chocolate double scoop?"
Ben made a face. "Ah, yeah, but I don't like chocolate that much, remember?"
Michael's ears swivelled back, the traffic moving again. "I remember, just saying. You like mint right?"
"Yeah, I like mint. Sorry." He reached over to squeeze Michael's tail base, the thickest most muscular part and was pleased to see the otterfox lick his lips. "Guess I've had a lot to think about lately."
Just ahead was a bightly lit sign that proclaimed Callie's Icecream Emporium, one of the few shops open this late. The parking lot was nearly full, the warming weather of spring drawing out many others with the idea of an evening treat. There were quite a few customers streaming in and out of the shops doors and through the wide glass windows they could see that the counters were packed with furs of all kinds. Parking and getting out Michael pushed his car door shut and waited for Ben, taking up beside him. A cloud of laughter surrounded them, a group of children rushing past on the way to to the doors and Ben caught a look of Michael's eyes resting on his rump. He knew what might be going through the adult's mind and helped guide it in the right direction by raising his tail slightly, letting it sway with his walk. It had the desired effect because despite the risk Michael reached forward slightly and covertly squeezed Ben's ass cheek, making the boy yip quietly and jump up a little. Ben bapped Michael's paw with his tail playfully before Michael opened the door for him, the two entering the establishment sharing a mutual slight reddening of the cheeks. As they stood in line Ben wagged, brushing his tail just barely over the front of Michael's pants. It gave him a thrill knowing something that the others around him didn't, that he had the undivided attention of the otterfox standing behind. It was too much for Michael though.
"Stop it." The otterfox said quietly into Ben's ear.
"Stop what?" There was a smile in his voice as he slowed his tail, letting it sweep right over Michael's crotch lightly.
"You're going to make me embarrass myself with that tail of yours."
Before he could reply the skunk girl behind the counter smiled down at Benjamin. She was in her twenties wearing a visor cap and apron. "What'll you have?"
"Oh! Um, I'll just have a pearl mint, single scoop. Not the chocolate mint, plain mint."
"And I'll have a single double chocolate." Michael said quickly, bringing out his wallet.
Michael paid and they collected their cones from a rather haggard looking cervine behind the counter. Then turning around they looked over the packed interior of the icecream shop and Michael chuckled.
"You know, I don't think we're going to get a seat. And it's pretty late, maybe we should just head home."
Benjamin's ears fell some. "Home already? Aw, we don't have to go just yet do we? It's still light out."
"You still have some work to do at home anyway don't you?"
"C'mon Michael, can't we skip our lesson just one time? Please?" He looked up at the otterfox, genuinely pleading.
"You promised."
Ben let his ears splay, crestfallen. "Alright, alright, we'll go."
Michael held the door open for the husky and they walked out into the deepening dusk. He gave a nudge to Ben with his elbow, licking his cone with thick pink tongue. "Hey, what's got you down hm? You do get your other wish when we get back don't you?"
At that two grayish triangular ears sprang up and a toothy smile spread. "Yeah, that's right, isn't it. I at least get that don't I. "
A spring came to his step, the idea of sharing a bed with Michael for the night coming back and making him feel fuzzy warm inside. By the time he sat down in the leather bucket seat of the car his tail was wagging and he was crunching through the cone of his icecream.
Michael went around the front and while settling into his own seat found a paw beneath him again. He didn't look this time, just smooshed the paw gently beneath his slacks with a smile.
"Mmm, am I going to have to drive all the time with a paw under my ass?" He said as the engine rumbled to life.
Benjamin laughed, the warmth of Michael's posterier seeping up his arm. "Get used to it. Your ass kinda attracts paws I think. You can't stop me either, no one'll see it in here."
"Mmm, I don't think I can argue with that." Michael said, rubbing his butt on the paw beneath. It took a little doing to drive with a slightly melting icecream cone in one paw and shift too but he managed.
They pulled out of the parking lot into sparse traffic. Aside from a few late evening shops and the icecream parlor there weren't many cars about. Dusk had fully fallen, streetlights were coming on as people headed home. Lights were on in the homes of the middle class districts as people ate dinner with their families. In the twilight creeping over the city the Midea Mark VIII made its way deeper into the metropolis, soon the buildings growing higher, the streets quieter as they passed through the nearly deserted commercial center. Soon they were on the highway running down alongside the river, the engine purring as they ate on their way home.
Ben stretched out, lapping the last bits from his whiskers when something caught his eye. There was a park that flashed by outside the window just off the freeway. It was disused and long overgrown and had a broken statue pedestal at the center. He looked over at Michael.
"What's the deal with that park? I've seen it before and always wondered why it isn't taken care of like the others."
"What park?" Michael was interrupted from his own thoughts, icecream on his muzzle, quckly licking it up.
Ben jerked his thumb over his shoulder.
"Ah, that one." He sighed. "From what I've heard is that it was once dedicated to a hero from the Vanell Uprising. Even had a statue of him there."
"What happened to it?"
"There was a massive scandal awhile ago that he was adulturous, maybe even gay. It was denied, but no one really believed the arguments and he was dishonorably discharged from the armed service and banished. The statue was torn down and now no one goes there. Not even the city caretakers."
"Oh." Benjamin's ears folded back, considering that. "That would explain why you were a bit jumpy around me earlier."
Michael cocked an eyebrow. "Nothing wrong with you, be sure of that. As hard as it is, we just have to be careful no one spots us, erm, doing things out of the ordinary. I know it's hard, I couldn't help myself as you may have noticed... But Galawan Province is ultra conservative and I wouldn't want anything to happen to you Ben. Did you know that recently the regional Adjucator Assembly voted to make re-education of all homosexuals mandatory? And if that doesn't 'bring them around' any offenders will be faced with minimum five years of imprisionment."
"What about the Pledge for Acceptance of All?"
"That only applies to the province of Shek. It hasn't been ratified by any other province and in fact Galawan outlawed the Pledge with a change to their Provincal Charter."
Ben made a face. "Then why do we live here then?"
"We didn't think that would be a problem quite honestly. Ricardo and Jan didn't know you were gay. They don't know I was gay because I haven't told them. I didn't think I'd be getting involved with anyone either. That and the Imperium convinced your parents to shore up the sagging economy here by giving them a special mandate in a deal for land and factory financing grants. Very favorable rates."
"Huh, and the Imperium doesn't get along with Shek does it? That's why they wouldn't have gone there."
"Yeah, the import and export from Shek is a real pain."
The husky shivered involuntarily. "You're not making it sound very easy for us."
"I'm just trying to give you an idea for what the situation is for us hon. It isn't easy, it won't be easy. Not going to lie to you about that."
Benjamin felt his heart jump at Michael's last word. It made the other dire conversation seem to melt away somewhat.
"You, if you're having second thoughts, I'll understand." Michael's ears went back though, genuinely hoping Ben wouldn't. He was already starting to get attached to the boy in more ways than just a caretaker now.
"Do you think I'm worth the risk?" Benjamin asked quietly.
Michael changed lanes, taking an exit off the nearly empty freeway and waiting at a light. He laid a paw on Benjamin's knee and looked him in the eyes. "What's life without a little risk. Yes, you're worth it."
Relief flooded over the husky and he shivered happily, tail wagging slowly. "Thank you Michael. I really do still want this."
"I know you do, and so do I."
The light changed and Ben's ears perked up as they turned; suddenly realizing that this part of the city was nowhere near home, they'd been headed northwest the whole time. The car headed towards a large white marble and green glassed tower, right on the rivers edge where the waterway flowed out of the city center.
"Hey! This isn't the way back."
"I was beginning to wonder how long it would take you to figure that out." The otterfox smiled.
"If we aren't going home, what are we doing down by the river?"
Michael looked over at the boy. He'd get to salvage one thing from his wrecked plans of a night out at least, and it pleased him immensly that it was still going to be a surprise. He made a turn off the street and saw Benjamin's eyes go wide.
"We're going to the Peskan?"
"It would be kinda hard to explain if somehow someone on the house staff found us in bed together at home don't you think?" Michael's smile broadened. "I don't know how we're going to work it out in the future, but for tonight, consider this my apology for it not being much of a first date."
All Ben could do was blush, glancing again out the window as the car rumbled up the driveway. The Peskan was the finest luxury hotel in the province and even the grounds declared that fact so meticulously groomed and lush green they were. Not a single expense was spared for any of the guests he knew. It was interesting though that Michael had chosen this hotel, besides it being the finest in luxury, there were more than a few sordrid tales associated with its clientel. The car eased up to the entrance, marble pillars supporting a high glass roof overhead. A liveried valet pulled open the door and stood stiffly as Benjamin unbuckled. He was thankful that he was dressed decently. The place was known to be rather picky on who stayed there. Michael came around to stand beside him, handing off the keys to the car.
"After you." Michael motioned with a slight bow.
"Are you serious?" Benjamin blushed a bit more as he started walking. "And here I thought you wanted to avoid getting involved with anything public."
The reply was a chuckle.
"Whatever will they think?" He coninued quietly. "The most respected employee of Roth International being seen escorting the CEO's son into this place."
"I take great offence at that Ben. I'm just your chaperone here while your room is rearranged. Didn't you know?" He pretended to be hurt but soon a grin broke out again as he strode up to the entry way beside the husky. He paused at the final steps up to the lobby he leaned down to Ben's ears, speaking in a whisper. "Though I'm beginning to believe that you'd rather have your version whispered about."
All Benjamin could do was duck his head, trying to hide his reddened cheeks.
Michael stepped up to the doors with smug look. "Thought so."
The heavy glass doors opened smoothly, admitting them into the vaulted lobby. The air was heavy with sophistication, it was just as lavish inside as it was out. Michael led him right up to the hotel desk. He saw Benjamin fidget and smile and that the boy was walking pretty close to him like an adoring puppy might.
"Easy there, just act natural." He said out of the corner of his muzzle.
So Benjamin backed off a step and wiggling his digitigrade toepads on the thickly piled carpet he stood trying to look like any other bored kid with a guardian coming to stay the night. But the excitement of being here with Michael kept bubbling over into grins and tail wags which he tried to direct at nothing in particular. It only seemed like a few moments and Michael started to move away from the front desk, catching him off guard in his thoughts.
"Huh?" He trotted to catch up. "That was rather fast."
"I have a room on contract for when Ricardo or Jan have unexpected business guests. I figure that they wouldn't mind if we made use of it for one night." At a highly polished gold bank of elevators he pushed a call button with a thick finger
Benjamin smiled as the door opened immediately and they entered an empty elevator. "You don't miss a trick do you."
"Not often." Michael smiled back.
Then, right as the doors locked closed Ben was surprised when he found the older fur's paw slipping into his own. Michael's pads were smooth, the fur coating fingers and tendons was warm, his claws ebony black his fingers gently squeezed Benjamin's. The young husky's ears seemed to melt, looking up at the otterfox in surprise and adoration. He leaned against Michael, rubbing his cheek against the otterfox as he clung to his arm. After a long moment he spoke.
"How long have you waited to do that?"
"All day Ben, all day."
"Hold me?"
Michael's arms wrapped around the husky, pressing the young fur close to him, holding him as the elevator numbers ticked by. He was amazed again at how profound an effect just holding the preadolecent pup had on him. His heart felt all sappy and he gently rubbed his paws up and down the back of stylish hoodie that Ben usually wore to school. Ben's breath was slow and even as it brushed across his chest and tie, the boy relaxed in his embrace. He looked down at him.
"Asleep already?"
Benjamin stirred slightly, the reply muffled and quite happy. "No, not yet." He stood back a step, paws on Michael's chest. "You really waited all day? Just to hold my hand?"
"Yeah."
Ben started to lean forward, going up on his toes slowly and almost got to kiss the adult otterfox's waiting muzzle when the elevator eased to a stop. He blushed, quickly going back down to his feet beside Michael as the door opened. Luckily there was no one in the hall and Michael took Ben's paw again much to the husky's delight.
"There'll be plenty of time for that hon." He beamed, feeling a flush come to his face fur from the warmth of the youngster's paw pads against his. "This way."
Ben had no trouble keeping up with Michael's long strides, soon coming to a door marked with small numbers on the jamb. Michael took out a gold and white key card with matching numbers, swiping it through the lock and pushing the door open, quickly ducking inside followed closely by the husky. Lights flicked on and the sight stole Ben's breath. They were standing in a large entryway, green highly polished marble underfoot inlaid with gold. The white walls rose up on white marble columns gilt with more gold and mirrors set to either side made the light from the crystal chandelier overhead glitter all around them. Spread before them and to the right was a living area that was carpeted in a deep burgundy, furnished lavishly with luxurious accomodation for guests of all species. To the left was a dining area and to the right of the living area was a master bedroom suite.
"Wow."
"Like it?" Michael smiled, giving Ben's paw a pat in his. "All ours for awhile."
"I love it! I never knew."
"Some of your parents' guests are royalty after all. Don't want them to get the impression that Roth International is some pipsqueak eh?"
Michael led the young husky through the livingroom and towards the bedroom. Ben's paws tickled on the soft carpet, shivering from the tingles it made on his pads. The room beyond the heavy guilded white door was a large gently curving oval surrounding a large raised bed in the center, lights set into a recessed ceiling around the edge of the room giving a soft even glow to the entire space. The carpet here was a midnight blue but just as soft as the living room. As grand as the accomodations were, Benjamin couldn't say they were better than watching Michael's well dressed butt and swaying tail though. Michael turned to him, wrapping arms around his body and lowering his muzzle a bare inch from Ben's. The otterfox's hazel eyes absolutely captivated Ben, seemingly falling into the deep liquid pools.
"Now how about that kiss?"
