College Life: Chapter 3
#3 of College life
Hi everybody. Quick warning thingybob: this story contains some mildly sexual content between consenting dudes. If you're under 18 don't read yadda yadda. Anyway, I think this chapter actually requires a bit more proofreading but I've got an exam tomorrow which I kinda really need to revise for ^_^''. I'll try do as much editing today but it would be really helpful if any of you could point out any of my stupid mistakes on this chapter. All comments, votes, constructive criticisms etc. would be greatly appreciated. (gosh who knew the glee cover of rebecca black's song "Friday" could be so addictive? ^_^'') Oh by the way, sorry if this is slightly shorter than usual It was longer, but I thinkl the current ending works better and I'll tag the rest onto the start of chapter 4. Enjoy.
College life: Chapter 3
Leo was woken up early by a knocking on his door. He slowly got up and made his way over to the source of the irritating knocking sound. As he reached the door he suddenly realised that he only had his boxers on but it seemed like a waste of time to get changed just to see who was there. He opened the door a crack and looked out to see Diego standing in the hallway.
"Morning hun" The tiger said with a smile. "Mind if I come in?" Leo stood aside drearily and let the tiger into his room. Diego smiled and got out of his clothes until he was just standing in his boxers. Wow, talk about that for a wakeup call Leo thought smiling to himself. He looked up and down over the tiger's muscled body and blushed as he felt his meat start to stir. Diego was lying in bed holding the cover up indicating for Leo to get in and snuggle with him. Leo got in under the covers with his boy friend and sighed happily as the tiger put his big arms around him.
"You're so hot you know that" Leo growled lustfully as he turned round and pressed his muzzle against Diego's. It took no time before their two tongues were dancing in one another's muzzles; one second they were wrestling in Leo's the next they were in Diego's. One of Leo's paws was on the back of Diego's head and the other was rubbing up and down over the tiger's muscular back. The tiger was doing the same and the two had their legs and tails intertwined in the bed. Suddenly Diego had one of his paws stroking around Leo's groin rubbing up and down against his rapidly forming erection. Leo gasped at the touch and did the same to Diego, marvelling at the size of the tiger's cock through the fabric.
Diego gave Leo a lusty grin and traced a line of kisses down the wolf's belly before licking all the way back up to Leo's muzzle and licking all over his face. Diego's tongue was strange, as a tiger, his tongue had little spines which made it somewhat scratchy, and although it left a trail of saliva on Leo's fur it didn't feel wet while the tiger licked him. Diego kissed down the wolf's chest once more and scratched lightly over the wolf's pectoral muscles causing Leo to jitter in pleasure. The horny tiger grinned as his muzzle was level with the hem of Leo's boxers. The large feline gently took the boxers in his teeth and pulled them down, eventually deciding to remove them with his paw when they reached Leo's knees. Diego looked up at Leo and rested his head between the wolf's legs giving the wolf a cheeky grin. Leo wasn't quite sure what to make of it so he merely stroked the tiger's hear lightly causing a rumbling purr to emanate from the tiger's chest.
Leo wasn't sure what the tiger was going to do next but his breath caught as the tiger's tongue darted out of his muzzle and quickly licked up from Leo's backside, up his furry sack and along the length of his exposed member. The tiny spines on Diego's tongue only increased the amount of nerve impulses flowing through the wolf's body, slowly pushing him closer and closer to the edge.
"Awww, does puppy like that" Diego asked with a grin as he once more licked along Leo's length. The wolf made an incomprehensible noise which was somewhere between a gasp and a moan which Diego took to be a sign of approval. Leo was even more taken aback when Diego stuck his muzzle between the wolf's buttocks and blew. The cold sensation shocked Leo almost as much as the tongue that was suddenly lapping at his tailhole. The wolf wagged his tail happily, although given its current position all it did was tickle the underside of Diego's muzzle
Somehow, during this whole process, Diego had managed to remove his boxers and now, as he grabbed Leo's legs and lifted him on to his shoulders, Leo finally got to see his tiger's perfectly sculpted muscular form just as nature meant it to be seen.
"This may hurt a bit hun." Diego said as he moved his now erect cock closer to Leo's tailhole.
"I know, but I want you. I want to feel you inside of me Diego" Leo replied, whining slightly. As Diego moved forward Leo felt his erection brush against his buttocks, but suddenly there was another otherworldly sensation filling his mind. The world blurred around him like everything had suddenly been immersed in water and then he realised what was going on as a sound permeated into his subconscious.

"GAH! Shut the fuck up you piece of shit!" Leo roared. It was times like these that he regretted not having an alarm clock with a big button which he could hit. As it stood, he had to carefully slide his paw along his phone's screen and then delicately tap a button to turn off the alarm. The wolf sighed and scratched his belly. "That was an awesome dream as well." The wolf was used to waking up at 6.30 AM to get to school to school slightly early. But now that he practically lived at his uni he didn't need such an early alarm, especially with late nights like the previous one. He finally decided to actually change his alarm and felt much better having set it to go off at 7.30 instead.
A thought crossed Leo's mind and he looked under his blanket. "How could I tell you bad boys would be wet?" The wolf said to himself as he removed his boxers and threw them into his dirty laundry sack across the room. He decided to spend his final hour of sleep naked and couldn't help but wonder what the tiger was dreaming about.
Diego did not dream that night. Instead the tiger was tossing and turning in bed due to stomach cramps which had kept him up for the majority of the night. Diego sat up in bed; he knew it would not benefit him to try get any more sleep. Plus it would be a futile attempt to try get to sleep in his current state. Another wave of stomach cramps caused the tiger to growl in pain. Probably just food poisoning He thought to himself That pork that I got last night didn't look like it was properly cooked. Diego retched and rushed to the bathroom. He was lucky that it was early in the morning, no one else was using the shower or the toilet on his floor and no one else was awake to see him rushing to the boy's room with only his boxers on. Diego retched once more and then vomited violently into the toilet bowl. He sat down before a new wave of stomach cramps hit him and he was forced to kneel over the toilet bowl and void his stomach contents. He sat on the tiled floor breathing heavily and put a paw over his stomach. The pain had dulled down now but was still there. He groaned to himself as he sat there. He was sat on the floor for almost 5 minutes before realising he hadn't yet flushed the toilet. He got up flushed it and went over to the sink. He washed his paws and face and looked in the mirror. Wow, I look like shit He thought to himself as he turned around and trudged out of the toilet. The pain had subsided for the time being and the tiger decided to get back into bed, slowly drifting off into a restless sleep that would leave him more worn out than refreshed.
Leo woke up again at 7.30, got dressed and got his books for his upcoming lectures. He checked the kitchen on his floor and seeing that no one was there he went down to the kitchen on Diego's floor. The tiger wasn't there but that was fine, Leo had some coffee and sat and read up on his upcoming lectures. Leo never noticed how quickly time flew when he read and when he next checked his watch it was 8.30. Their next lecture was supposed to start at 9.00. Had Diego already left?
Leo went over to Diego's room and knocked on the door. He heard a groan from inside and heard the tiger lumber slowly across to the door. Diego opened the door and was stood there in his boxers. Leo noticed the bags under his eyes and his pained expression.
"Diego are you alright?" Leo asked, shocked by the sight of his boyfriend in such a state.
"Meh, I think I've got food poisoning"
"Awww I'm so sorry to hear that. Do you want to skip the first lecture? I can take all the notes for you and explain it all when I get back if you like." The tiger smiled at the wolf's thoughtfulness. In truth he would've liked for the wolf to stay with him but he knew that they both needed for at least one of them to attend the lecture.
"That would be lovely hun"
"Would you like me to fix you up some breakfast?"
"Oh God no! I don't think I could eat anything right now."
"Not even some cereal? You need to get that metabolism started." The wolf said with a frown on his face. The tiger kissed him on the muzzle.
"Seriously, I'm not hungry. I'll be fine. Don't worry." Leo sighed and kissed the tiger back. He asked if there was anything the tiger needed but Diego said he was fine and just needed to rest. Leo bid the tiger farewell and hurried off to their lecture. The material wasn't too hard to understand. It was another pharmacology lecture on the effects of acetylcholine on the heart. Since they were on the topic of drugs that affected the heart the lecturer asked Leo to give his and Diego's presentation.
"Mr. Agito where is your tiger friend?" The bear asked.
"He has food poisoning sir. His pork wasn't cooked properly last night."
"Strange, my pork was fine" The bear replied. "Can you give the presentation by yourself?"
"Yeah sure." Leo stood up and gave the class a short talk on how digitalis could slow down the heart rate and how it was used by medics to treat arrhythmia, in particular atrial fibrillation by inhibiting sodium potassium pumps in the cell membranes in heart muscle cells. The wolf also went on to explain how its usage could also lead to bradycardia or tachycardia in the heart. Leo would usually be much more enthusiastic about presentations. Even in secondary school his classmates would praise him as a good teacher, but today Leo's heart wasn't in the right place. At the end of his short talk the class all applauded. But Leo's mind was in a state of unease. What if Diego didn't have food poisoning? Leo put the thought out of his mind and guessed that Diego had just got a bad portion of meat the night before.
Leo's presentation, as well as the essays by three of the other pairs was given an A grade. Leo was surprised at first but then remembered that he was in medical school and that his classmates actually knew what they were talking about, as opposed to his biology class the year before half of which had consistently got U grades in the majority of their chapter tests. At the end of the lecture Leo collected his notes and headed back to Diego's room.
Diego had been rushing back and forth to the toilet having had diarrhoea for the past hour. The tiger sighed and lay down on his bed, poised for when his body was going to send him running for the bathroom again. Suddenly he heard a knock on the door. He winced as he stood up and made his way to see who was there. His wolf was stood at the door his tail wagging tentatively.
"How you feeling?" Leo asked.
"Like shit" Leo whimpered at Diego's words and hugged the tiger.
"I'm sorry hun"
"It's not your fault." He said with a smile before breaking the hug and running for the toilet. Leo was stood outside and frowned as he heard the noises emanating from behind the door. Diego walked out with a pale face.
"Diego I don't care if you are hungry or not you are eating something. Leo bounded u the stairs and rooted through his food in the kitchen on his floor. He found some brown rice in the cupboard and a few eggs and he brought down some coca cola with him. Diego was once again on the toilet as he passed on his way to the kitchen. Leo mixed up the eggs and the rice and cooked it in the microwave and poured some coca cola into a glass for Diego.
As Diego made his way out of the bathroom Leo caught him by the paw and he was dragged to the kitchen and sat down in front of the rudimentary meal. He looked at it with a hint of antipathy.
"Get it all into you. The brown rice is full of fibre and should help with your toilet problems and coca cola is usually good for settling the stomach, I don't really like the taste but it's good for if you're not feeling well." Diego slowly began to eat the food but stopped about halfway through.
"Leo I'm sorry but I just can't eat anything. I've just completely lost my appetite."
"I don't care." The wolf growled. "I'm not going to see you suffer because you didn't want to eat. Now you either eat it or I'm going to force feed you, and in your current state there's nothing you can do to stop me." Diego sighed; he knew the wolf was right so he forced the rest of the food into his stomach. Meanwhile Leo had successfully located some lemons in the kitchen. He didn't know who's they were so he left a reimbursement of £2 in their place. He sliced the lemons and not seeing a lemon squeezer in the room did his best to squeeze them with his paws until he'd filled a glass about an eighth of the way.
"Get that down you as well. I know it's just lemon juice and I didn't believe it when my granddad told me but it always worked for me and mum when we had any stomach problems or things like that."
Diego leered at the lemon juice; he hated the taste of the stuff but he chugged it down anyway. He finally finished the food and sat back in the chair. Leo then went over the contents of the lecture explaining the effects of acetylcholine on the heart and how it acted as a neurotransmitter working with the parasympathetic nervous system to inhibit contractions of the cardiac muscle and how its effect could almost be seen as the opposite to that of epinephrine and norepinephrine. He then proceeded to describe in more detail on a molecular level. Diego listened and learned quickly but Leo could see that he was still in some pain. The wolf frowned; he hoped the tiger would get better soon. He hated to see Diego like this.
Diego decided he would try to attend the next lecture but Leo dissuaded him and once again went in his stead. It was another dissection, and Leo couldn't help but think that it was for the best that Diego hadn't gone. The class was set an essay on the evolution of the horse and how the anatomy of its cranium had adapted over the years; something that Leo wasn't actually all that interested in but he would head back to the tiger's place and do it with Diego anyway.
Diego smiled at Leo as the wolf got back, he was evidently much happier and feeling better for the moment and they had no more lectures for the day. Once more Leo explained the lecture, although describing dissections was not an easy thing to do and Leo's drawing skills were, well, pretty pathetic to say the least. Leo had already gotten a few books from the library which he thought would be useful for the essay and a few more to show the tiger recognisable diagrams of what the dissection had shown them. Diego finished the assignment about 15 minutes before Leo. The wolf had a tendency to go off on a tangent and look up whatever interested him and it was only because Diego had kept him in check that he'd finished the assignment at all. The two of them checked to make sure that their essays weren't too similar. They had worked independently but regardless there was always a possibility that their work could look the same. Satisfied that they wouldn't be caught for plagiarism or cheating off each other they emailed their essays and shut down their laptops.
"So what are you up for?" Leo asked Diego, not sure what the tiger was capable of in his current state.
"Well, I'm not in the mood for anything physical right now. You wanna play some more chess?"
"Oh you like chess do you?" Leo said with a smile. Diego nodded with a cute little grin on his face.
"Cool gimme a sec, I've got a set in my room upstairs." Leo bounded out of the room and up to get his chess set. Diego smiled as he left then doubled over and growled as a new wave of stomach cramps hit him. As he heard Leo coming down the stairs again he straightened up and did his best to smile. The wolf stopped in the doorway as he saw the tiger.
"Are you ok?" Leo asked. He could see the pain in the tiger's eyes and he was still concerned for the wellbeing of his boyfriend. He was more concerned that Diego was trying to hide it though; Diego wanted to be a big strong tiger, but Leo wanted to know how his boyfriend was feeling. If the wolf hadn't developed a knack for sensing someone's emotions from their eyes, he wouldn't have noticed anything.
"I'll be fine, don't worry. Ok, the cramps are back." He growled as he held his stomach again and suppressed a growl. "Guh I hope this fucks off soon." Leo nodded in agreement.
"Still up for chess?" The tiger looked up at him and winked.
"Of course I am pup. I'll whoop your arse this time"
"Is that a euphemism?" Leo joked, sticking his tongue out at the tiger who merely laughed and started setting up his pieces, oblivious to the wolf's reference to the dream which he hadn't had a chance to finish. Diego decided to play as black so Leo played as white. Leo proceeded to thrash the tiger. But the tiger soon had his move set understood and was making a comeback forcing Leo to think for minutes on end before making some of his more crucial moves. Eventually Diego beat Leo and did a little victory dance before cramps set in again. Leo frowned again and hugged the tiger from behind.
"I'm sorry Diego."
"You have nothing to be sorry for."
"Sorry is an emotion, therefore I am entitled to feel it regardless if I am to blame or not. Either way I am to blame this time because I was the one who invited you to that formal dinner. If I hadn't mentioned it you wouldn't have food poisoning and you wouldn't be suffering like this. I'm sorry Diego." Leo nuzzled Diego's neck and giggled as he felt the tiger rub his tail up his leg. Diego turned around and licked Leo on the nose.
"Its fine Leo, I wouldn't have changed last night for the world." The two shared a brief kiss. Leo suggested going out to the student bar to get a sandwich for dinner but Diego still wasn't in the mood for eating anything. The next few days weren't easy on either of them. Diego was still unwell and it made Leo stressed out to see the tiger in such pain. Diego wasn't one for going to the doctors, especially with something as plain as food poisoning. His appetite hadn't really picked up and he was starting to suffer from bouts of nausea as well. Days were starting to turn into weeks. Half way through the second week, after he'd gone to the toilet and came back into his room with a look of shock on his eyes, they both realised that Diego's problem was something a little worse than food poisoning.
"Diego what's wrong?" Leo asked truly worried for the tiger. This was the worst state that he'd seen the tiger in.
"Leo, there was blood; lots of blood. I think- argh" He cramped up again and Leo rushed over him.
"Fuck it; I'm taking you to a doctor." Fortunately for the two they were at one of the best universities for medicine in the country so it had one the best hospitals in the country nearby.
Diego told the doctor all about the symptoms he'd had over the past few days. The doctor frowned.
"I'm sorry we're going to need to take some tests." Diego nodded, that wasn't a surprise. He had to have a blood test and and a colonoscopy. Diego didn't like the idea of the colonoscopy, he wasn't a fan of having things shoved where the 'sun don't shine' except in certain situations; and this wasn't one of them. He wasn't sure whether he wanted Leo to be present for it or not but in the end Diego asked Leo to stay in the waiting room.
Leo was getting impatient. It felt like he was a caged animal, unable to explore past the confines of his cage and unable to help his tiger who was trapped in his own cage. Leo didn't like these situations at all. He was left alone with his thoughts, and that could often lead to very negative conclusions. While his mind was processing other possible causes of Diego's symptoms, his paw clapped over his mouth. Oh please. Please God don't let it be that; anything but that. Leo thought to himself. He mentally cursed himself for not thinking of this earlier. Or had the thought been there all the time? It made sense to him that his mind had mentally blocked the thought, but it now seemed so strange that such a conclusion had eluded him for so long. He'd done a whole project on a related condition and his research had routinely taken him back to something with exactly the same symptoms as Diego's right now. Diego eventually came back out into the waiting room. Leo looked at the tiger's eyes and saw fear. Fear mixed with grief and a complete loss of hope. Leo knew what words were going to emanate from his partner's mouth and he could already feel his eyes starting to water.
"It wasn't food poisoning." The tiger said, trying his best to keep calm. "Leo... it's cancer". Diego buried his muzzle into Leo's shoulder as his emotional walls crumbled and he burst into tears while Leo gently rocked him in his arms.
