What if...
#29 of Cycled life
Lucas sighed as he scrubbed even harder at the cheese that was a bit more than persistent as far as foods went. To his dismay the cheese was a bit more than sticky. It didn't just stick to the dishes, but to his paws too. "Stupid pasta...get off!" he growled and began to scrub even harder. A pair of broad arms encircled him and he felt the bear's lips brush along his ears.
"Can I help?" Jake asked with a smile. He felt Lucas practically melt immediately in his arms-a welcome surprise. He nipped at his mate's ear, and rubbed at his mate's fur teasingly, "I've heard that I have magic fingers..."
Lucas couldn't help but chuckle as he sunk back into Jake's arms, "Does that apply to the kitchen?"
Jake moved his paws to the wolf's stomach, "I think it applies everywhere," he said and sliped his paw barely into the wolf's paws, playing with him a little.
Lucas chuckled and let out a weak moan as the bear's paws began to really work him over, not that it was too hard at the moment. The bear's lips soon attached to his neck and a shuddering moan followed it. Lucas could feel Jake's teeth nip at his neck and at his shoulder and found himself quickly becoming caught up in the moment. It felt so good to be with his mate, to have Jake with him like this. He relaxed fully in the bear's arm, exposing his neck a bit more for the bear.
Jake pulled a bit on his mate and a happy growl began to reverberate from his chest, lightly rumbling in his muzzle. He kissed at his mate's neck and moved up a little, soon just lightly nipping and playing with his mate who was practically putty in his paws.
Lucas let out a weak chuckled and rubbed back at Jake's body. The bear behind him clasped down on his neck and Lucas let out a gasp of pleasure.
Jake chuckled through his growl and moved up to Lucas's head. He kissed lightly around his cheek and ears, occasinaly nipping the wolf's ears. His paws moved up the wolf's body and lifted his shirt, playing with the fur underneath. It seemed that as soon as it had started it was ending though, and he felt Lucas become a bit more in control.
Lucas pried away from Jake's grip quickly and looked to his task. He looked back at the distraught bear, "Jake...we can't right now and you know it...my family is in the house and we're in the kitchen-the center of the house,"
Jake looked around, "I don't see anyone..."
"My dad will be back soon,"
"He's seen us kiss before though..."
"Yeah...and I think he'd love to leave it at just that,"
"I can control myself,"
Lucas sighed and walked over to Jake. He quickly planted a kiss on the bear, a full one. It wasn't exactly romantic and in all honesty it probably looked, for lack of a better word, slutty or debauched; even though it was far from it. Lucas felt Jake begin to return the kiss, the bear quickly growing bolder in his moves. Soon Jake's tongue was swiping along his own and Lucas placed a paw on the back of Jake's head. He could feel the bear's muzzle vibrate because of the growl, making him moan more into the kiss.
Jake kissed Lucas greedily and as deeply as he could-Lucas returning every action he did just as eagerly. Whenever he felt Lucas's paw begin to pull on him a small grunt would quickly escape him. He had pushed his mate back into a counter and was now leaning against him in the kiss. It was still the wolf who was in control, which was noted all too soon.
Lucas put his paws on Jake's chest and could feel the rumbling growl strongly vibrate his own paw. With a deep kiss and happy moan he pulled away and pushed Jake away from himself. He could feel Jake's tongue brush over his lips as it met the cool air of the house. The stunned bear's tongue hung lightly from his muzzle at the abrupt end to their kiss and Lucas smiled at his mate, "Good enough?"
"Yeah..." Jake said, licking his lips lightly because his tongue wasn't used to the sudden stop of the kiss yet. The kiss had been good, he'd certainly had better, but it had undoubtedly started a fire between the two of them. Normally for a kiss like that, it meant that their muzzles would be stuck together for at least a two or so minutes, but Lucas had ended it quite quickly to his dismay. He leaned forward and Lucas allowed him a few short wet kisses.
Lucas smiled and leaned forward, licking Jake on the lips once, "OK Jake...that's enough...it's not easy for me either,"
Jake frowned for a minute before grinning, "Hmm...so if I act desperate more ofte-"
"Then you'll stay desperate," Lucas ended the sentence for the bear. He could tell that Jake was just playing with him, but it wasn't the kind of playing they needed at the moment-his member was sore now. There was just a bit longer to go, just a bit longer to go.
'Geez...he had to go and do that' Lucas thought with a slight smile, 'well, we do have all of Monday together...and Tuesday, and everyday after that. Just a bit longer till we can actually be alone together. He goes and pushes my buttons like this on nights and yet never seems to actually go through with it...I plan to push something tomorrow though...or maybe I'll let him push something in me. After all, he says he'll do whatever I want...this could be fun. Then we cou-' he was thinking and put a stop to his lewd thoughts before they matured anymore. The last thing he needed was to be thinking about all the things he could, and would, do to his mate tomorrow, especially when none of them involved clothes. He put a paw into his pants and readjusted to a more comfortable position, and gave Jake an angry scowl.
"Sorry Puppy...how about I help you with those dishes? I still have those magic fingers," Jake said, wriggling his fingers a little.
Lucas rolled his eyes and walked back over to the sink. He made room for Jake who was next to him and they began to wash together.
"So...what do you think your dad wants to talk about?" Jake asked, after enough time had passed for the sexual tension to melt just a bit.
Lucas thought for a moment as he wiped off a wet dish, "I'm not sure yet..."
"Do you think he's angry with me about something?"
"Jake...I know that this make come as a surprise," Lucas began and smiled at his mate, "But the entire world does not revolve around you," he said with a small chuckle. He didn't mean to sound rude, but it was really the only way to say it. Jake had the notion that whenever something was wrong that it was his fault. Sure it wasn't an egocentrical type of spotlight effect but it was still a spotlight effect. The bear always figured that if something was wrong then it was his fault-not a thing he was encouraging. Lucas leaned over and kissed his mate on the cheek, "And no, I don't think he's angry with you, OK?"
Jake handed another plate to the wolf but didn't say anything, just staying quiet instead this time. Lucas was right; the world didn't revolve around him.
"Cheer up for me...please?" Lucas asked, kissing Jake on the cheek once more. The bear seemed a bit sad right now.
Jake forced a smile, "Yeah...sorry,"
"It's OK...I just love seeing you smile," Lucas said. That brought out a full smile on Jake's muzzle-a real one. They finished washing the plates, which took them about ten minutes and just as he had said Mr. Vadikson came back. The wolf had a surprisingly serious look on his face, as though he'd glued it onto his muzzle before coming out.
"Hey Dad," Lucas said with a smile and put the last plate into the dishwasher.
"Sit down," Mr. Vadikson said with a gesture to the table. He waited until the two both sat down and then took a seat on the opposite end. Jake and Lucas sat right next to each other and he saw a small look of concern pass between them. "I just want to talk to you two about a few things...no trouble, I just need see a few things,"
"OK..." Lucas said unsurely. His father's tone wasn't nearly as kind and welcoming, he felt a bit like a chastised pup.
"It may not be fun. I want to talk seriously with the two of you," Mr. Vadikson stated.
"Well OK...I mean, that's fine. Just ask away," Lucas said. It was more like his father was sitting him down and trying to tell him not to do drugs or something.
"Lucas...do you know the names of Jake's parents?" Mr. Vadikson asked.
"Yeah...I mean...umm," Lucas said and stumbled a bit. He looked over at his mate, "Mr. and Mrs. Yellat,"
"You know that's not what I meant," Mr. Vadikson said with a slight sigh.
"I know that he's got two brothers, Bryan, who is going to a military school, and Zack who is engaged to a girl named Jennifer," Lucas said, spitting the words out a little.
"Don't use that tone," Mr. Vadikson said and looked at his son more sternly, "I'm not trying to make either of you feel offended, just to see what you two know about each other..."
"What do our parent's names matter?" Jake asked.
"They don't really, but I just wanted to see," Mr. Vadikson said and turned his attention to the bear. That had been more of a priming question. He saw Jake's eyes were filled with a bit of fire and fear, "You don't open up all that much, and even know you're drawing back which I can't really blame you for, but Jake, I'm sorry if any of this makes you upset...either of you, but these are important things I want to ask. Jake, like I said, you don't open up and how much do you let my son into your life?"
"I love Luc-" Jake was saying before being cut off.
"I didn't ask if you loved him. Trust me Jake, I know you love my son, but I asked how much you let him into your life?" Mr. Vadikson asked again.
"More than anyone else...and that's the best answer you can get. Lucas is the person I open up to when I feel I need to, and before you go there," Jake said and let out a light sigh, "He's the guy who comes to me when he knows I need it...even if I don't want to admit it,"
Mr. Vadikson smiled and nodded, those were the answers he was looking for. He didn't care if he liked the answers or not, but he wanted them to be honest. "Good...."
"Well, I mean, there's more to it," Jake said and looked over at Lucas, "We're there for each other. Lucas...as cliché as it is, is my life. He helps me, makes me a better person, tells me the truth...he's everything to me,"
Lucas blushed heavily, the bear's words weren't romantic to the sound and weren't meant to make him blush. That was the part that made it so strange, he could tell that Jake meant them entirely. He realized that his father was going to make this a difficult discussion though, not something he looked forward to.
"Jake, do you ever plan to come out of the closet to your family or friends...there's no other way to say it," Mr. Vadikson said and waited for a response. Right now he was seeing what Jake was doing in the relationship.
"I-I don't know..." Jake said, not trying to hide his fear of it. "They wouldn't accept it,"
"How do you know that?" Mr. Vadikson asked.
"I just do. They're totally against anything that they consider 'left wing' and I'm not saying that's horrible thing but they wouldn't accept it. I know because of my life...whenever there was someone who wasn't 'living right' they would bash them or something. 'Oh, he's a faggot, or you're a fudge packer, or they're not right in the head, or you're a fairy, or he's a tail lifter, or you're a jailbait...' those things. You don't just say something and never not mean it a little...but I know they mean it. Coming out will mean I'll be ostracized...and for Lucas, I'd give all that up if you want to know,"
"Would you?" Mr. Vadikson asked with a cocked eye brow.
"He almost did once," Lucas cut in. He remembered it quite vividly. "Jake tried to tell Jim about us after we had a small fight but I stopped him...but he really was going to tell, and if Jim found out then so would his parents,"
Mr. Vadikson looked at Jake and examined him for a few moments, the bear was staring strongly at him. For all the times that Jake seemed to have emotional break downs or was unsure of himself his eyes told a different story now. The bear's eyes told him that he really did mean it-even if he was a huge fluff ball most of the time at the center was someone who had a diamond core. "Well one last question on this topic then...Jake, do you think your parents will still think that you and Lucas are 'just roommates' when you're both thirty and living together still?"
Jake looked down at the floor and sighed, "I know they have to find out...I just don't know how yet..." he said and looked up at Mr. Vadikson, "But that is a topic I will handle and please don't question me on it..."
"OK" Mr. Vadikson said, giving Jake the room he not only needed but deserved, "...well...Jake, is there anything you want to know about our family? I can't ask about my own family...it wouldn't be fair for me to do so,"
"Do they not like me?" Jake asked, not really knowing what to expect.
"There were pretty accepting of you...but in truthfulness I can bet some of them don't expect you two to stay together for more than a year....and some of them think Lucas is just fooling around,"
Lucas chuckled, "They'll realize it soon enough Big-guy...you got a rather warm welcome compared to some of the other people that my family has brought around,"
Mr. Vadikson nodded his head in return, "Don't expect them to open up to you right away...for them it really is a 'once you're in you're in for life' thing..."
It was silent for a moment and Lucas didn't know if the conversation was over or what. His father seemed to be searching for what to say, but after a moment the words came to him.
"I know this isn't exactly the most comfortable topic for either of you but...I want to know, not in detail, but to just know...it's a father's job..." Mr. Vadikson said and searched for the words again. He didn't want to sound lewd but didn't know how to ask it.
"What?" Lucas asked, "We aren't going to hide anything..."
"You two sleep together, right? And don't give me the 'of course we sleep with each other' answer...you know what I mean," Mr. Vadikson said and blushed rather heavily. It wasn't a question he'd been excited to ask, but it was important.
Lucas nodded his head, his face entirely red now, as was Jake's-no Jake's was probably much redder.
"Do you two use protection?"
"N-No..." Lucas said, embarrassed to be saying any of this.
"You don't?" Mr. Vadikson asked.
"No sir," Jake said, looking straight down at the table. "I'm not carrying anything and neither is Lucas...Lucas was the first person I was ever with..."
"And the same goes for me...Jake was my first..." Lucas said. If his father was trying to embarrass them then this definitely ranked a million out of ten.
"Neither of you are worried about the other might do something?" Mr. Vadikson inquired.
Lucas looked up at his father and growled, "What's that supposed to mean? No, we're not worried about anything...Jake is the only guy I'm with and I'm the only one that Jake is with...we don't have to worry about it because we're mates..."
"So...that means you can't catch something?" Mr. Vadikson asked.
Jake sighed, he really hated this part, but he wanted it to end pretty quickly too. "Lucas is the only guy I have sex with, and I'm the only one Lucas has sex with, and that's it. We don't look around at other guys looking for sex, and even if one of us looks at another guy it is never with that in mind...I refuse to ever hurt Lucas by cheating on him...he's my mate and always will be,"
"Always?" Mr. Vadikson asked. He didn't want to, but it was important for what was coming down. He hadn't been expecting them to not have sex, he was all but sure they had it. That was all he needed to know, he didn't care about what they did, only simply that they did it. He knew they did, and he wasn't exactly expecting them to get married before they could-that wasn't exactly a possibility for them. But as far as being bonded went, they were mates and that was as good as any ring on a finger for the two of them.
"Yes!" Jake replied roughly. He didn't look to Lucas for approval, there wasn't a single shred of doubt in him. Out of all the things he was sure of it was that Lucas was the person he was going to spend his life with. He felt a paw move over his own and gripped it tightly, as though to hold onto his mate.
"Jake...I know this isn't the easiest topic...especially since your friend just went through what he did, but...what if you two do break up? You're both in college, you both have a solid three years together without having anything to worry about but what about after that?"
"What do you mean?" Lucas asked.
"You two both want to go to graduate school...right?" Mr. Vadikson asked and saw them both nod in response. "Good...well, what if you both go to different schools...opposite sides of the country...of the world even?"
"I wouldn't go then," Jake said, not wasting a moment to reply.
Lucas looked over at his mate, "You'd have to go Jake,"
"I won't go anywhere if you aren't there," Jake said surely.
"Jake, be realistic," Mr. Vadikson said. He admired the bear's tenacity though.
"I am...I'll be the best and I'll be able to do whatever I want-I'll follow Lucas wherever he goes," Jake said, his voice full of resolve. He didn't mean it to sound arrogant, but if he had to stay up every night and study to be able to follow the wolf then that's exactly what he would do.
"What if Lucas can't get in a school?" Mr. Vadikson asked.
"I'll still follow him," Jake said.
"Jake...you realize that would make your life so much harder right?"
"I don-" Jake was saying before Lucas stopped him.
"Jake...you don't mean that," Lucas said, more trying to convince the bear-he believed him and that was the problem.
Jake looked over at his mate, "I do though. Lucas...you realize that's just the tip of how much I love you. I love you enough to die for you, but I love you so much more than that; I love you enough to live for you,"
Lucas looked away for a moment and chuckled. He couldn't imagine the bear giving up his education just for him; even though, at the same time, he knew he'd give it up without a second thought if it meant being with Jake. He thought for a few seconds before looking back at his mate, "Then how about this...you make me a quick promise..." he said and smiled at his mate. His father was now just a part of the background to them-he was the instigator but this was between the two of them.
Jake nodded and waited for his mate to continue.
"If we do end up going to different schools...then we stay together...we could do it, you know. We could see each other once a month or more depending on the place. This is all hypothetical and I'm not one for the 'ifs' of life but if this does come...then we'll handle it with what we should; patience, love, and understanding. We'll both get the education we need and when we finally are able to get back together...we both take a job that is close to the other-no compromise there. That way we can...well...spend our lives together," Lucas said and smiled at his mate. It was a bit strange to say with his father around, but he didn't focus on it.
Jake gave a weak smile, "But I want to go where you go,"
"Jake..." Lucas said, not sure what else he could say. He didn't have any words to say really; he wanted Jake to come, and he wanted to go where the bear was. "You didn't answer the question..." Lucas managed to pull out.
Jake stared at Lucas and felt his eyes water a little. Why did it have to feel like they were already saying good-bye even if it was hypothetical. If he was getting teary at the thought then he knew actually saying good bye to his mate would be impossible. "O...K... but we'll both go to the same graduate course probably...you still liking the idea of that?"
"Is that being realistic?" Mr. Vadikson asked, pushing the conversation forward again.
Jake looked over at the wolf, "You tell me? We both have the same major, our grades practically mimic each others, we both have the same interest as to what we'd like to do when we do look for jobs, so much so that not going to the same school would actually make no sense, neither of us are exactly stupid when it comes to research, we both get better off of each other, and the fact that we both work pretty hard...so...you tell me?" Jake asked again. He knew there was hostility in his voice, but he couldn't mask it right now. For some reason he was angry at Mr. Vadikson, he understood it wasn't justified but that didn't matter. His brain was angry at the wolf for making him think of those situations, of ever leaving his mate.
"Not when you put it like that," Mr. Vadikson said and looked at Jake sternly, "I'm just seeing if you two have thought about the future..."
Jake huffed lightly and gave no ground-sure it was a bit immature but luckily the wolf accepted that. He was sure Mr. Vadikson was under no impressions that he was entirely logical while dealing in these matters.
Mr. Vadikson stared at Jake for a few moments, both not really giving any ground to the other. Normally the bear was much more docile, but he knew that he was pushing buttons at the moment-he was trying his best to watch out for what he said. He could tell just by Jake's eyes that the bear was both angry at him and resolved in his words-the bear more than ready to fight to the last second. Not to say they were going to argue about it. There was no intention of this turning into a petty squabble; it was more like they were just testing one another. The bear gave him no ground surprisingly, and he began to think that Jake really meant everything he said regarding his son. He hadn't really doubted it before but to really see if someone meant it-anyone could say something but to mean it; that was something so much more different. "Just so you two know...I really do think you two can go to the same place and make it, but I also know you could both change the entire basis for what you want to do..."
Lucas nodded, "I get what you mean...and what you're trying to do..."
Mr. Vadikson looked over at Jake, who was still a bit angry with him, but the bear did yield him a small nod of his head. Even if Jake was pissed at him the bear still knew the purpose of this. He waited for a few moments before going forward, "So, if you two do, and don't worry, it's a small if right there...it's more of a when I guess, so...when you two do get jobs and are really beginning to settle down...what do ya'll plan to do?"
Lucas felt his ears twitch a little, "What do you mean what we plan to do?"
"Well...everything. You know, like your finances, your plans for vacations, plans on the type of place you want to live, what kind climate you would like to live in, the kind of hobbies you'll take up after school, and the stuff like that," Mr. Vadikson said with a chuckle. They seemed like such obvious things but it was amazing how they could pass you by. When in school you can see someone and it's almost like they are a perfect cut to fit into whatever you're missing but as soon as you tie the knot then it all falls apart. The person you thought was interested in cognitive science was just taking a course in it for an A, the person you was sure loved the snow turned out to want to live at the beach, and the stuff like that.
"Umm...well..." Lucas said and chuckled, it was the least stressful question and he couldn't answer it. He looked over at Jake, who was a bit more relaxed, not as angry and now just a bit ruffled under his fur.
"Well, start with that stuff...let's start with the easy one...what kind of climate do you two like?" Mr. Vadikson asked with a chuckle. He looked at Jake expectantly.
"Snow...cold," Jake said, his own tone showing such attributes. He shook his head and sighed, "Sorry..." he said, leaving the known apology for his behavior at that and looked over at Lucas, "I'd love to live somewhere cold, where there is a lot of snow and icy weather, and where when I walk out at night I can see the stars,"
Lucas smiled, that was no surprise. His mate was more of a polar bear than a grizzly bear, and he wondered if he was just dying his fur when he wasn't around. He chuckled as he began his own ideas for somewhere fun to live, "Well, I'm not so much into the cold places...but I don't hate any place..."
"You get cold easily," Jake said, as if taking the wolf's position in opposition to his own.
"Not entirely true...besides..." Lucas said and smiled at his mate. "I've got you,"
Jake chuckled and then blushed heavily, Mr. Vadikson's own chuckle hitting his ears. Most of the time he forgot he was there, but every once in awhile there would be the small indication that it wasn't just the two of them. The wolf's paw, ever since the beginning, was in his own and another gentle squeeze brought him back to the physical world. "But I don't want to go somewhere you won't be comfortable...even when I'm not around,"
Lucas chuckled, "Well...I like the cold too, just not to the extent that you do. I'm not a fan of mild either, and I can't say I don't ever want to be somewhere where it's never hot...I like to feel the heat of the sun on the earth sometimes,"
"Well...you know I don't do well with lots of heat," Jake interjected.
"Aww...I was thinking the desert too," Lucas said teasingly. After a moment he smiled at his mate.
"Well, it's not like I want to live in the tundra you know...just somewhere where when I see snow it doesn't mean it's just there for a day...like at Kirson, the snow will be there till about early April at the latest,"
"Well, let's combine two in one for this question...how about for vacations we can go somewhere hot, like the beach?" Lucas asked with a smile.
"Whatever you want," Jake said with a nod of his head.
"And we can stay in a place like Kirson..." Lucas said with a smile. He couldn't lie though, at first the place had been nearly unbearable. The thing was, it had grown on him a lot, and it was actually a great place to him now. At first seeing snow so often had been strange, but now, it was kind of nice. The cold could sometimes be a bit tough, but in all honesty he really did the bear to keep him warm. "Jake..."
"Yeah?"
"Well, if we do live somewhere cold...could we, turn on the heat a bit more?" Lucas asked, a bit bashful about it.
Jake cocked his head a little, "I told you to just tell me and I'd turn on the heat!"
"I'm fi-"
"You're a liar," Jake said plainly. The wolf always told him he was fine, but that usually after he asked the wolf if he was OK. He knew that Lucas wasn't great with cold weather, and he didn't mind turning on the heat, but he didn't want it to be hot inside either. He wanted to still feel nice and cool while inside.
"I'm confused," Mr. Vadikson, looking between the two.
Jake looked over at the wolf, "So, I like to keep it cold, I like the cold. Lucas here though, pretends he's fine and one time when I even turned the heat up he turned it back down on me,"
"That's because you didn't want it to be that hot!" Lucas said, giving the bear an angry look.
"Who says?" Jake asked, growing equally angry. It was sad that they were going to argue. The thermostat-it was at the root of all relationship troubles it seemed.
"You said so you oaf. Why does it matter if I'm cold?"
"I don't know, maybe it's because I want you to be comfortable and happy!"
Mr. Vadikson watched as the two went back and forth at each other, not exactly sure what he could do. If they had been arguing with anger towards one another it would've been different but instead they seemed angry at their own responses to trying to help one another. Instead they just snapped at each attempt of a resolution for one another. If Jake proposed keeping the heat on then Lucas would say that would be stupid, or if Lucas would propose no heat then Jake would say he'd freeze. He didn't feel the need to jump in though. It was kind of like watching them snap at each other. He hadn't meant for anything like this, especially over something like what to do with a thermostat, but it was good to see the two of them so vibrantly into their conversation.
"Then how about we just...how about we keep it cold on one day and heated on another?" Lucas recommended.
"That's dumb...why don't we just have no heat at all?" Jake asked.
"That's fine with me!" Lucas said.
"Not with me," Jake said and saw Lucas's mouth open to interject again, "I don't want you to be cold for the last time!"
"I don't care what temperature the stupid house is, I can always get a blanket," Lucas said with a light growl. "Why can't you just be happy and do what you want?"
"It's not about what I want though; it's about what you want," Jake growled.
"Th-" Lucas said and stopped, his tongue sticking to the roof of his mouth now. A small chuckle escaped him at the bear's words, which had stopped his own. His anger quickly fell away also. It wasn't that they had been trying to get at one another but they both wanted to have a solution they could be happy with. His mate's eyes were trained on him, waiting for him to say anything. "That's...what I think too though,"
Jake cocked his eye brows a bit, "How about we flip a coin on it...I'm not going to give up and neither are you,"
"Fine..." Lucas said and stood up. He began to dig around the kitchen and found a coin to flip. He looked over at the two and smiled, "First the terms...the person who calls it gets to decide,"
"Fine," Jake said and watched his mate.
"OK...I call heads," he said and flicked the coin.
Jake waited till it came down and he chuckled, "Well, what is it?"
Lucas looked over at Jake, "Heads..." he replied with a grin. He saw the bear's eyes show just a bit of disappointment at it not being tails. Lucas couldn't help a chuckle though, "So I guess the cold will stay,"
"But you won," Jake said and cocked his eyes a little.
"Exactly...and I want you to be happy. It's like I said before Big-guy, if I get cold...well, I have you," Lucas said with a smile. He saw the bear's ears droop a little, "No complaining, I won so I get to decide and I say that it'll be cool,"
Jake opened his mouth to complain but the wolf stopped him again.
"Nope...I won, that's that," Lucas said and looked over at his father, "What's next?"
Mr. Vadikson looked at the two for a bit and chuckled, if they could solve all of their problems like that then they would certainly have an interesting future together. "Well, I guess finances come next. They're extremely important...I've actually seen some of my best friends lose their marriages because of it...you two can't solve this one with the flip of a coin,"
Lucas listened to his father and felt the bear's paw move back to his own, their fingers interlocking once more. "Well...what were you expecting?"
"Start off with simple things...like your current finical ways," Mr. Vadikson said and looked sternly at the two. He hated to talk money, but very sadly it was so important in relationships.
"What do you mean our current finances?" Jake asked.
"Well, you know...who is the bread winner and what not..." Mr. Vadikson said and looked over at Jake, "Jake, that actually makes me remember, how do you pay for your current apartment-you don't hold a job,"
Jake chuckled and heard Lucas let out a light 'hmm' sound too. He looked over at his mate, "What?"
"You never told me either...why did I never ask?" Lucas asked, as if the bear would know for him.
Jake chuckled and shrugged his shoulders, "Well...I know that I still have a good bit to learn but I think I'm OK with money...I mean I'm a bit of a miser, not that I won't share when I need to, but I don't like to spend money frivolously. But as for how I do what I do...well, since I'm attending Kirson for free my parents told me that the money they had saved for me to go to college was mine. So I got an apartment...and I also got a good deal on it too, since I'm a student I get a discount, our landlord-"
"Mr. Spencer?" Lucas asked.
"Yeah...in an attempt to get more revenue he lets people who are attending the local college stay for about twenty percent off, and since I get on his good side I get that discount throughout the year too," Jake said with a chuckle. "I also went ahead and leased it till I graduate so...Mr. Spencer can't change the rate on me...that was part of the deal,"
"Well, Big-guy, you have some good charisma in this stuff don't ya'?" Lucas asked.
"I guess," Jake replied with a shrug of his shoulders. He had mostly gotten lucky with being able to take care of himself. "The job I held in the summer paid pretty well too, enough so that I really only have about a thousand dollar net loss so far, including things like groceries and what not,"
Lucas couldn't say he wasn't impressed. In all honesty it was sometimes like he was a child with Jake again. He didn't ever worry about the bills being taken care of, or where the next meal would come from-his mate provided them. That wasn't to say he was a loafer, he did pay for the groceries, but that was strainful to the bear because Jake didn't like him to. Slowly it began to dawn on him that Jake really didn't let him pay much of anything-that Jake was always insisting on taking care of things. The bear never even listened to the idea of him helping to pay for the apartment's monthly bills or anything like that. Lucas knew he had a good amount of money that his parents kept for him in order to take care of any living expenses, but Jake was usually taking care of them.
"So...do you plan to take care of everything forever?" Mr. Vadikson asked Jake, who was still thinking about something, his reserves of money probably.
"Umm...I can if I need to," Jake said, saying it as if it was nothing.
"What about Lucas?" Mr. Vadikson asked.
"Well, that would take care of him, right?" Jake asked.
"Not what he means Big-guy, what about how I feel about the bills and bringing some of the bacon home for myself...for lack of a better example," Lucas said.
"What about it? I can take care of it if you want me to," Jake said.
Lucas couldn't help but cock his head a little. The bear's skull was thick in this matter apparently. He shared a small look with his father who was shaking his head in disapproval. The idea of never having spoke of finances with Jake was strange, especially because Jake seemed so set on being the bread winner. He didn't mind the bear paying for stuff, but Jake was practically implying he could be a stay at home mate-not what he wanted. "I don't want you to Big-guy, that's the whole point!"
"Why not?"
Lucas sighed; the bear really didn't get it. The idea of Jake being some possessive and scrooge with money was kind of scary, he didn't think that Jake would be like that, and if he was he didn't know how they'd deal with it. Then again it was hardly like that, this was just the situation that Jake didn't want him to pay the bills. The bear wasn't telling him he couldn't spend money, just that when it came to the bills he'd take care of them. He wanted to be able to help out around the house with the bills, to help pay mortgage and stuff like the water bill. As it was he was practically mooching off of his mate, but Jake didn't seem to mind. "Jake, I want to help with the bills too,"
Jake cocked his head a bit, confused, "Why?"
"Why? Maybe because I'm part of this relationship too," Lucas said, seeing Jake flinch a little at the words. He felt the bear's paw try and pull away from his own but Lucas held tightly onto it.
"Sorry," Jake said, looking down to the floor.
Lucas sighed and squeezed his mate's paw encouragingly, "Is there something wrong with me helping pay the bills sometimes?"
Jake avoided both of the wolves' eyes and shuffled a little, "I want to be able to provide for you. If I can't do that then I'm not any good. I mean if I can't make sure you have everything you need then I'm a failure as a mate,"
Mr. Vadikson cocked his head a little, "Jake, that's noble but don't you think that's too much pressure on you,"
"No, he doesn't," Lucas answered for his mate. He chuckled a little, "Jake, you don't have to do any of that you know. And you're acting like you want me to be some stay at home mate, and I don't want to do that. I plan to hold a job too,"
"Jake, it's not a bad thing to want to provide but you can't expect to be able to do it all you know," Mr. Vadikson said and saw Jake nod a little.
Jake felt Lucas squeeze his paw again and looked up, "Sorry...I know you guys are right...but I guess it's a pride thing. It's the fact that we're not there yet and I don't know how it's going to pan out, and if things don't go well, I want to be able to provide for you because you're my mate,"
"Jake, you will be, but don't get bogged down with stuff like that, it's not healthy for ya' to over think stuff," Lucas said and fought the urge to lean over and kiss his mate on the lips.
Jake shrugged his shoulders, "I guess...but, aren't there other things we need to discuss?" he asked and looked over at Mr. Vadikson.
"Well, tell me about your current ways of handling the bills," Mr. Vadikson said and looked between the two.
Lucas looked away this time, "Jake...kind of takes care of the apartment and what not. I pay for groceries sometimes and whenever we go on a date we take turns,"
"He offers to pay...I just...don't let him sometimes...The apartment is under my name and I think it'd be strange for Lucas to have to pay any for it. It's not a big deal to pay, I don't mind it," Jake interjected, he didn't want it to sound like Lucas was a charity case he was taking on, even though he knew there was no way Mr. Vadikson could think that.
"Well...as long as you're not not letting him pay then I guess there isn't a problem. Later, when you two have your own place that isn't at Kirson, when you two actually buy a house or something then you'll want to work that out," Mr. Vadikson said with a smile and looked between them. "I think...we're doing well with the talk...it's not nearly as terrible as I had expected,"
"What did you expect?" Lucas asked, curious as to why his father thought it'd be strange.
"Honestly...I thought that Jake was angry enough to fight with me during the first part...and that one of you may get angry later on too, but I don't know if there's much more to say," Mr. Vadikson said and saw Jake blush lightly.
"I...wouldn't hit you," Jake said, a bit embarrassed that the wolf would think he'd try to fight him-but there was also some kind of compliment to it at the same time. As if him going against the wolf would mean he'd be sticking up for his mate.
"I'm glad we'll never find out," Mr. Vadikson replied with a chuckle. He looked between the two, "Well, is there anything you two want to ask about? I honestly thought we'd be having a little soap opera about it, but...you two seem to have it together,"
Lucas smiled and stuck his tongue out at his father, "We're mature like that,"
"Actually, I do have a questions that's more a of a curiosity," Mr. Vadikson said and didn't bother to wait for a sign of approval, "How long have you two been together?"
"Um...well," Lucas said and felt a bit embarrassed. There was no doubt that in terms of relationships they had moved quickly. Sure they had known each other for quite awhile, for about two years, but it was still quick. First he met Jake in class, and then they became friends, then practically best friends. After about half a year of gaining Jake's trust the bear let him into his circle, told him he was gay, and then about three months after that he became the bear's mate. "About...a year an a half,"
Mr. Vadikson felt his jaw drop a bit but he quickly shut it again. He waited for Lucas to continue. He'd known it was a fast relationship, but he wanted to know just how quickly they had moved.
"Umm...Jake and I met well...we met in our classes. After about a week we began to hang out regularly," Lucas said and smiled lightly at Jake.
Jake decided he would help the wolf in explaining. He looked at Mr. Vadikson and let out a sigh, "After that...well, we just became friends-best friends. Lucas would come over nearly every weekend and we'd talk and just relax. I guess...Lucas began to make his way into my...into my trust. I began to think that I could rely on Lucas and I guess...I opened up to him,"
"And well, over Christmas break we actually became even closer, and I began to realize that Jake was holding stuff back from me. I mean part of the reason we got along well was because we both never really talked about...well...girls. I didn't really care, and...well...I mean...Jake obviously didn't care either. I was more worried about why he was distant though," Lucas said and looked over at Jake, hoping he hadn't insulted the bear.
Jake chuckled lightly, "So...I guess the rest of time passed relatively slowly. The first time I let Lucas in...March eighteenth...last year was the date. I told Lucas about my preferences...and that was I guess where it all started," Jake said. He didn't bother to tell the wolf that the day he told his son he was gay was the day they had sex, that wasn't exactly something he was proud of, but then again, it was part of what led them to being here.
"Jake told me he was gay, I didn't tell him I was...I mean, I guess at that point I didn't exactly think of myself as gay. Umm...Jake kind of jumped me with the news...and a bit of a well...umm..."
"A move on you?" Mr. Vadikson asked.
"I-I...this is in the past...can we just keep it like it's history and not react to it please?" Jake siad, deciding it was better to say that than to try and explain his past behavior.
Mr. Vadikson chuckled lightly, "I don't think I can do much about it...besides, the present is a result of this...and I like the present,"
Jake let out a sigh of relief, "Well...I told Lucas...and I guess I did kind of put him in a really weird position..."
"Well, Jake kind of freaked out after I knew" Lucas said, taking over for his mate, "...he avoided me for a good bit after that and I practically had to track him down and trap him for him to talk to me," Lucas said and smiled at Jake, remembering just how Jake had reacted to him finding out. He was surprised that Jake knew the exact date, it was flattering-he'd forgotten. "When I finally did get him talking to me again he practically hated me...I guess it's just you being scared or something Big-guy. Either way...eventually, within a week, we'd built the trust and relationship back to what it was..."
"I...asked Lucas if he wanted to date me...you know, be...my boyfriend," Jake said, blushing at the words. It felt more than normal to call Lucas his mate, but to still say the other words always made him blush-in fact, it made his boyfriend blush too.
Lucas smiled lightly and looked at his father, "Well...I said yeah, obviously, and then things just went as they did. Jake told me that he loved me...we came back here, eventually I told Jake the same...and spring break passed pretty slowly. We went back...and on April twentieth I found my mate..."
"And...well, you know the rest; summer and all that," Jake said, brushing over the summer topic very lightly. He noted that the wolf's ears perked up and he felt a pit in his stomach.
Mr. Vadikson looked at the two, "How do you two handle that?"
"Handle what?" Lucas asked.
"Summer...where you...umm-" Mr. Vadikson began and tried to find the right words.
"Betrayed Jake..." Lucas said, telling it as it was. "We handle it as best as we can. I hurt Jake...and there's no way around that, and to say that we're all fine about what happened would be a lie. It hurts me that I was such a fool...and it hurts Jake...that I betrayed him, but we're working on it,"
Mr. Vadikson looked between the two; it was the most solemn they had seemed the whole night. He could tell just by the looks between them that they didn't exactly like to acknowledge that this past summer had even occurred.
"I'm..." Jake started and bit his lip as he looked for the right words, "getting over it. Honestly, Lucas can tell you, I'm still sore about it. I got to see Lana at the New Year's party...and that made the night a bit sourer...but we're working on it. I'm working on becoming the mate that Lucas deserves,"
Lucas squeezed his mate's paw and looked at his father, "I'm doing the same. We don't exactly like to talk about the summer...it took me a long time to gain Jake's trust back, and things can never be the same because I betrayed him but we can make things better than they were still. Just because I screwed up does not mean we're going to let it define how this relationship goes,"
Mr. Vadikson nodded his head and looked at the two. They both had a sense of conviction behind their words and he was glad to hear it. "Well...at least you two aren't trying to just ignore it,"
"We acknowledge it when we need to, but other than that...it never happened," Jake said with a shrug of his shoulders.
"Yeah, there isn't a need to dwell on the past. So...nothing new in your lives?" Mr. Vadikson asked. The talk, as far as being serious was pretty much over. One of the best things they could do now was just talk and have a good time. Besides, it was good to talk with them, but he stopped himself before he began. He didn't want to impose on them, to be the type of parent that lingered onto their children as if to try and be their best friend, even though he did consider him a friend. It was a strange line though, to be a parent and a friend in the same area. He wanted the talk, to be fun, but only if it was fun for all those involved. He let out a light yawn and stretched, "That is...only if you guys don't want to do something by yourselves. I don't want to impose of course,"
Lucas laughed lightly, his father was afraid of being a nuisance; that was something that he'd never imagined possible. Before he could respond though his mate was already letting his father now that they enjoyed his company. Sure he'd imagined in old age that talking with his father would be fun and great, but he was still in college and his father was already one of his best friends-it was a good life.
"How could you impose?" Jake asked with a chuckle. "You're one of the few people that me and Lucas can both talk to and not want to kill one or the other,"
"There's Kaden and Mason," Lucas pointed out and then looked at his father, "But still, we both like to talk to you...it's us who would feel like we're imposing on you,"
Mr. Vadikson examined the two for a minute, making sure they weren't just being kind to him. After a moment he decided that they were genuine and looked at the two of them, focusing on his son's words, "Who are Mason and Kaden?"
"Oh Mason Kumar and Kaden Marlinton...they're two of our teachers. Well, Mason teaches both of us psychology and Jake has Kaden's biology class," Lucas said with a smile. They were good friends too, really good friends.
"OK...just teachers?" Mr. Vadikson asked, wondering why they stood out, out of all of their teachers.
"Well, Kaden helped me awhile back in the summer..." Jake said, remembering the bear's kindness in helping him when he and Lucas were going through a rough spot.
"And...well," Lucas said with a shrug of his shoulders, "I just met Mason due to blind luck one day and we talked for a bit,"
"You didn't answer my question though," Mr. Vadikson said, now knowing that the two had some sort of special relationship with the two. He saw the two exchange looks, obviously embarrassed for some reason. From how they silently communicated he could tell that it was Jake that was a bit scared.
Lucas looked at his father and tried his best to act nonchalant, "They're...mates also..."
"OK...wasn't so hard to say was it?" Mr. Vadikson asked with a laugh. "What was the trouble with telling me?"
Jake looked down for a few seconds, "Well...you know, it kind of seems like, 'hey we're a gay couple...we're hanging out with a gay couple' I guess...and it almost seems like that sends the impression that excommunication occurs to those who don't fit that little niche, but it's entirely untrue,"
Mr. Vadikson laughed lightly at the bear's bashfulness, "Well I know you two too well for that. Besides, it's good for you two. As much as I hate it, I can't exactly be the best of role models for the life you two will lead..."
Lucas chuckled lightly, "Well...I guess we respect them, but role model might be a bit far...we're friends but it's not like we hang out all the time...they're still our teachers,"
"That's exactly what I mean. They have a good bit for them...but I'm glad you two have someone you can relate to and who you get along with," Mr. Vadikson said with a slight smile. "So...tell me about ya'lls' lives, I'm curious. You've both been here, but I haven't really checked with what ya'll have been up to,"
For the next three hours they spoke lightly, enjoying the company and the topics which they went over. Mr. Vadikson had even put on a pot of coffee, a sure sign he was more than fine with staying around for a bit. They spoke about everything from the people they saw day in and day out to the topics that they all had on tests. At different and various points they would be lightly interrupted either by Mrs. Vadikson or Ana, who passed through relatively overlooked; Ana being busy with a coloring book and Mrs. Vadikson showing no interest in the company.
As the later hours of the night began to fade Mr. Vadikson showed signs of being tired and he finally stood up to excuse himself.
"I have to do what I preach," Mr. Vadikson said with a yawn, "I tell my students to get plenty of rest and I should do the same," he said and poured out the remaining coffee into the sink.
"Dad...you've been drinking cof-"
"Decafe," Mr. Vadikson explained quickly. "I save the good stuff for mornings,"
"Ahh...OK," Lucas replied, his small curiosity sated as to how his father could drink coffee in the middle of the night.
Mr. Vadikson moved to a side room and when he came back his shirt was gone and he headed to his own bedroom, "Good night you two,"
"Night Dad!"
"Night Mr. Vadikson," Jake yelled with his mate.
With that the house was theirs; Mrs. Vadikson didn't usually disturb them at night, Ana would be fast asleep by now, and Mr. Vadikson had buckled down for the night. The house was truly isolated as far as other people went now-save for two rooms-next to that, it was theirs.
Jake felt a paw move around his side and felt Lucas lean over on him, the wolf simply relaxing on his shoulder. "I love you," he told his mate
"I love you more," Lucas replied as he nuzzled the bear. He heard his mate let out a content sigh as they stayed near one another. The talk had been good for them, they had learnt more about each other in the process-they had grown closer and closer still. After a moment Lucas moved a little and kissed Jake on the cheek.
Jake looked down at the wolf and smiled, "What was that for?"
Lucas repeated the action once more and returned his head to the bear again, "Just because..."
"I guess I am pretty great,"
"Yeah, you are," Lucas said, knowing that Jake was just joking but he meant it. He licked the bear's lips once and moved with his mate; it seemed like Jake was moving away. Before he could ask why he was up in the air though, the bear's arms holding him and Jake smiling down at him. There were a lot of things he didn't really like Jake doing, and this was one of them-to carry him like he was a child, but at the moment he didn't mind it. Instead of the usual playfulness in it he felt like there was a loving hold to it, and he nuzzled at Jake's chest as the bear moved through the house.
They found themselves in the bedroom, Jake lightly setting his mate down on the bed. He sat down next to his mate and felt Lucas's paw running over him, playing with his fur and pulling him closer. With a light push he was on his back and Lucas was on top of him again, both staring intently at the other. They nuzzled one another and pulled on the other, not a rushed feel, just a wanting feel within it. He wanted to be with his mate, and he wanted his mate to want to be with him. "Lucas..."
Lucas pulled back and smiled at Jake, rubbing through his fur. He knew that Jake wasn't trying to tell him anything; the bear had a strange habit of saying his name during certain times. He grabbed the edges of Jake's shirt and pulled it up, Jake lifting his arms for him to do so. His mate's shirt was followed by his own.
Next he felt Lucas pull him back into a hug and they were together again-their chest rubbing closely together and Jake wrapping his arms around his mate. Jake smiled at the wolf who began to kiss at his neck, earning him a growl of pleasure. Jake couldn't help but to expose a bit more of his neck as the wolf enjoyed his fur, both savoring the moment together. He grabbed onto the back of Lucas's head and pulled on his mate, who began to bite more roughly on him, which only increased his moans. "Lucas..."
Lucas let out a happy growl and moved down to his mate's shoulder, where their mating mark was. When he nipped at the bear's shoulder Jake gasped lightly and pulled even harder. Lucas continued to bite along his mate's neck for a few more minutes, but wasn't sure if he continued he'd be able to stop.
Jake let out a chuckle mixed with a moan, "You're such a great puppy,"
Lucas growled playfully and bit just a bit harder on the bear's shoulder. He felt Jake's paws roam down his back and move into his pants. He pried himself back, but one of Jake's paw stayed steady on his head.
"Do you have to stop?" Jake asked with a light moan, pulling on Lucas still.
Lucas chuckled and moved his way back to the bear's lips, "It'll be better for us both if I do,"
Jake leaned forward and stole a kiss from his mate, "I don't see how...I'm tempted to just beat you if you stop?"
Lucas smiled a little, "And I'm tempted to pound you,"
"I don't think I'd stop you..." Jake said, seeing his mate roll his eyes are the terrible line. He stole another kiss from Lucas and chuckled, "Was it that bad?"
Lucas laughed lightly, "Yes...it was,"
"Do we really have to stop?"
"Well...I think it won't kill us to wait just another eight hours..."
"Eight?"
"Well," Lucas said and looked over at a clock, "Seven hours and thirty minutes if you want to be specific,"
Jake let out an agitated sigh and rolled over, bringing Lucas to the bottom, "I'm sick of waiting,"
Lucas leaned forward and licked his mate's lips, "Come-on...I know it's not exactly easy, but are you telling me you can't wait just a few more hours,"
"Not after you just kissed at my neck like that...you think it's a banana in my pants?"
"Well, I was kind of hoping you still had the TV remote with you..."
Jake growled lightly and laid his head down on Lucas's chest, "You're so much of a tease that it teeters on cruelty,"
"I really am sorry Big-guy...but you started it,"
"How did I start it?"
"The kitchen?" Lucas said, cocking his eyes a little.
Jake thought back for a moment and chuckled, "That? That was more like a good morning kiss,"
"I don't hear about your 'magic fingers' all the time in the morning,"
"Well...you will tomorrow,"
"You still want to play my little pet tomorrow?"
"Nope..." Jake said and saw his mate from lightly. "Come-on...that goes against what I am...you can't call me a little pet and then say I'm 'Big-guy'...it's a contradiction. But I still plan to take excellent care of you tomorrow. I'm going to be your big pet bear,"
Lucas felt a smirk on his muzzle, "Oh?" he inquired and leaned on the bear.
"Yep..." Jake said lustfully and pushed Lucas off him and rolled on top of the wolf, who let out a happy groan, "I'll do everything you want...taking you in me, begging for you to just take me again and again," he said, smiling as Lucas's eyes began to glaze over with lust, "Pulling you tight against me as I try to get in just one last bit of pleasure from this amazing body you have, letting you know with every moan just exactly how you make me feel. I'll nip at you and growl if you want me to...maybe I'll treat you to a bit of roughness...if you want me to,"
Lucas moaned and pulled on the bear, "I want you to," he almost whispered. If Jake had tried to take him now he'd have no objections. Instead the bear continued his hot whisperings.
"Mmm," Jake growled and smiled at Lucas, "I'll please you, Puppy, and make sure you're writhing in pleasure, giving you all those little things you love. If you want me to suck you, I will. If you want me to pay tribute to every single part of your body, I will. If you want me to just be a good bear and let you breed me, I will. Whatever you want, it's yours...just name it,"
"I want you," Lucas groaned, as if the bear had timed it so that he'd say it. The bear was definitely going to get it.
"And I want you...Puppy," Jake said and heard Lucas growl lightly, "I want you so much...to hear that hot growl as you mark me again. Mark me and let everyone know that I'm yours, that you're the only guy for me, the one I'll always come to, the only one who can make me feel like this. I'm yours just as much as you are mine. I'll expose my neck for you, let you assert your dominance over me, all the while roaring in pleasure as you breed me, mate me like I know you will. We'll do it again, and I'll earn every hot sound from your muzzle, finally having you howl out in marvelous pleasure as you mate me again...all the while whispering the words that make you shudder,"
"What words?" Lucas asked. Everything the bear did just then made him practically shudder and it was a miracle he hadn't shot his load. Jake never talked like this to him, but he certainly didn't mind it. It was the hottest thing he'd heard and he wanted Jake to tell him more.
"These words," Jake said with a heavy growl and leaned in right next to Lucas's ear, "I love you,"
Lucas really did shudder under the bear and let out a weak moan. He wanted to do everything Jake had just said. He wanted to breed the bear into the ground and make them both shout in pleasure, to mark his mate and let his mate in turn, breed him. He wanted to do everything so badly, but he knew that if he started then he wouldn't stop till the bear was filled with his seed-multiple times. Lucas pushed Jake off of him, "Well...seven hours and twenty minutes now,"
Jake growled angrily, "What?"
"Sorry Big-guy..."
"Please Lucas...just a quickie?" Jake asked, a small whine to his tone.
Lucas chuckled, "Tempting...but it's already the next day, so you're already my big pet bear, right?"
Jake smiled and nodded, licking Lucas on the nose, "Yes I am...all yours," he said, hoping this was going the right direction.
"Good...go to sleep,"
Jake frowned in disbelief, "What?" he asked, a whine escaping him again.
"You heard me...go get your sleep," Lucas said with a smile.
"Please..." Jake implored.
"Jake...go to sleep...I'll put you on the couch if you don't stop,"
Jake whined and nuzzled at the wolf, his member already had soaked through and he was wet, "Lucas...please,"
"No...sorry Big-guy...just a bit longer,"
Jake didn't know if a bit longer was possible. Blue balls were something he didn't like to keep. Every time he looked at Lucas he felt like he was about to lose control and give into his base instincts. Jake rolled off of his mate and looked over at him, "I'm going to sleep...don't touch me,"
"What?" Lucas asked, laughing. The bear spoke with urgency and anger.
"Touch me again and I swear there's no way I'm waiting another second to rip those pants off you," Jake said and buried his head into a pillow. He tried not to entertain the thoughts of sucking his mate off, or letting Lucas pound him.
Lucas chuckled and fought the urge to hug the bear, he knew that the 'touching' encompassed any physical contact. He leaned back into the bed and wished he hadn't started, his own member begged him for release. Somehow, not pawing off at any point in the break began to seem like a bit of a terrible idea-still, it would be worth it in just a few hours. Lucas looked over at his mate and smiled, "I love you Big-guy,"
Jake huffed in response, "Love you too...ya' tease,"
Lucas chuckled, if he hadn't known better, he'd say Jake was actually angry with him. He chuckled lightly, "Just a bit longer Big-guy...and who knows...maybe with what I'm going to do to you tomorrow you won't even be able to sp-"
"Lucas...if you don't shut up I'm going to hold you down and pound you till the entire neighborhood knows how loud you can howl, and how much my roar adds to it," Jake said with a growl and pulled the blanket over his head.
Lucas rolled his eyes, though he couldn't say it wasn't a tempting offer. He was being a cruel tease to his mate, but he knew Jake was a good sport. "I really do love you Jake," he said and heard Jake give another huff in response.
